He hoped love would come his way.

even though it never did, he still hoped.

He wished for that shooting star, for that warm ray of the sun.

He still waited for that butterfly to sit on his hand, to at least stop by.

all of his efforts were made for it to happen,

But it never did.

Stars were never seen, the sun burnt him instead,

and butterflies died before he could catch a glimpse of them.

Until he stopped trying.

Once he was able to let go and stop hiding, stop over protecting,

all of it came rushing towards the door and into his heart.

Love Has No Limits - Fleurie

This one makes me think of the moments in my stories where the characters do something dramatic to save the ones they love.

Someone limps towards the villain, broken blade in hand. The team stands side by side, the odds before them are impossible but they'll do it together. Someone flies towards space to destroy the world destroying weapon because this is their home now.

OK those are oddly specific examples but you get the point.

The song starts slow and builds. I feel the need to warn you that the voice is so auto-tuned that it sounds robotic, I just feel like someone might find that creepy.

i think it would be funny if people occasionally arose from the dead. like if that was a real-life one-in-a-million but well-documented Thing That Sometimes Happens, and the entire legal system around death (laws on inheritance & marriage & murder etc) had to include caveats for the unlikely-but-scientifically-possible event that the dead person in question might spontaneously self-resurrect, even years or decades after death. it would raise so many inconvenient and absurd possibilities

Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault! 

So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most. 

A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people. 

“Martha, get some blankets, it’s happened again!”

Having a mother in your life is one of the greatest privileges. Lucky are those that get to play in their mother's arms. Luckier are those who get more than one mother.
