Hi hun! I saw you write oneshots, and I wanted to request one for Fate, if that’s alright? Something about Riven with a reader (maybe a water fairy?) who’s every bit as stubborn as he is, and it kind of goes from enemies to lovers. Like, they can’t stand each other at first, but then end up getting closer and stuff. And literally everyone else already sees where this is going and they don’t know whether to find it adorable or be annoyed by all the mutual pining. You get the idea lol.

You hated him, with your whole heart. The way he was parading like the whole school was his, his smirk and that arrogant walk he had, you hated it all.

As you were walking to your next class, you saw him. Riven. He was a Specialist and best friends with Sky, who was dating Bloom, who was kinda your best friend. You sighed and ignored him. Because of that, you didn't saw him glancing quickly towards you before heading to the classroom. As you walked in, a new surprise awaited you.

The teacher stood behind her desk and was deviding everyone into pairs.

"Ah, Y/N there you are! You can form a pair with Riven."

"What?", you exclaimed.

She was kidding, right?

"Is there a problem?"

"No, miss," you answered through gritted teeth.

You made your way to your table and already saw Riven seated, with the usual grin on his face.

"Hello love."

"Don't call me that," you hissed angrily.

"We are going to have so much fun together," he grinned sarcastically.

Over the weeks, you tried to avoid him as much as possible and you only talked to him when it was absolutely necessary. Now was one of those moments.

You were standing in the grass, with folded arms. Riven was lying down, with a joint between his fingers.

"You know you're supposed to do your part of the task, do you?"

"We still have time, love."

"The deadline is due midnight!", you yelled.

"So? That means there's still time."

"God, I hate you!"

"I hate you too," he grinned.

"I swear to God, if you mess this up I'll kill you!", you snapped.

"That'll be fun."

That was the final strap for you. You jerked the joint out of his hands and looked down on him, furious.

"Do you want to say something, love?"

"I hope you burn in hell."

He didn't answer right away, which gave you enough time to grab your stuff and walk back to the building. Once you were in your room, a frustrated yell filled the room.

"Is everything okay, Y/N?", Bloom asked.

"No! He's a freaking nightmare and I hate him so much!"

"Riven?", she guessed.

"Yes! He's a total piece of shit and doesn't do anything for our group projects!"

"Did you confront him about it?"

"Yes, and he doesn't fucking care!"

You sighed deeply and fell onto your bed. You heard Bloom laughing and looked up, confused.

"What are you laughing about?"

"It's so obvious!"

"What is?"

"That the two of you are falling in love!", she exclaimed.

"Are you on drugs?"

"No, I'm not," she giggled.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

You shook your head en laid down on your bed. Bloom was definitely doing drugs.

A few minutes before midnight, a shook at my shoulder woke you up. Groggily, you opened your eyes.

"What the fuck, Riven?"

You were wide awake when you saw him sitting at the edge of your bed. He was wearing sweats and looked extremely calm.

"How the hell did you get in?"

"Sky has a spare key."

"What do you want? I want to sleep," you moaned irritatedly.

"I want to tell you I did my part of the task."

"And that couldn't wait till tomorrow morning?"

He grinned sheepishly and looked a bit uneasy.

"I also wanted to see you."

"Why?", you asked.

"I don't really know. Just a gut feeling I guess."

"Are you high?"

He shook his head.

"You sure?"

"Positive."

"Then explain why you're here."

"Because you make me feel something I haven't felt in a long time."

"Which is?"

"Feeling alive, I guess. I want to feel that more often, even if that means getting along with you."

"Riven, you're really not making any sense," you sighed.

"I know, Y/N. I really do. Can I just kiss you please?"

What the actual fuck? That question overwhelmed you so much, you weren't able to answer. Riven took that as a sign and leaned forward, to press his lips on yours.

To your surprise, it felt good and almost familiar, like he had kissed you tons of times before.

Making otome environment in 3D (massive project)

so as I've been working on some small props from otome games, I thought... I wanna model entire rooms, environments from these otome games, and export them to VR so we all can have a tour and BE in the moment hehe (kinda like a movie set tour). It’s my little dream 💭

JUST IMAGINE BEING IN YOUR FAVOURITE MAN’S ROOM IN REAL TIME! YOU CAN MOVE AROUND, TURN YOUR HEAD TO LOOK WHEREVER! ISN’T THIS EXCITING???

So I've thought it out, planned a bit, and here are some of the steps I will be taking to make it happen.

Gathering references - pretty much any image/screencaps I can find of bois rooms, gardens, houses, outdoors, of the otome games I've played. (Some from google, some from my phone and switch lol)

Study furniture/rooms & fill in the cut off sides - usually, otome game backgrounds are limited to one image from a single camera angle. So I will kinda design the 3rd and 4th wall of the room to make it a complete space)

Floor plan - need to make sure all furniture and objects are properly scaled and fitted into the room based on the screencaps

Modeling Blender assets - reappearing items like wooden planks, pillows, mattress, windows, books, rocks, grass, trees, etc can be modeled once and reused. Varying the texture and directions will make it look less repetitive.

Model the Room/place - using the assets and the reference image I build the actual environment.

UV mapping and Textures - Uv map objects that need unique textures, then import the UV overlay to clip studio to paint the mesh on image surface. Import the images back to Blender and wrap the textures accordingly.

Lighting & details - yeye lighting, details, and all that fun stuff at the end to tweek and make things perfect!

Export! - as of now, I will probably use sketchfab, a website you can view 3D models on. If you have oculus or vr devices, I think you should be able to view it using that as well.

These are just rough steps for me to follow, I've started steps 1-4 all at once simultaneously, but I'm sure there's more stuff that needs to be done. Ik it will take a longgg time... I probably will end up doing rooms and then piecing it together to create the whole thing, so random rooms may be done in random order, and yeah... not the whole universe at once lmao. I've also gotten a lot of help from my stream since there are a lot of good 3D artists I respect. Probably will continue to get more help lel. These posts are also for myself to keep track of the progress,,, so yeah!

You were frozen to the spot. But he wasn't.

Loki looked at you, and a spark of recognition developed into a burning passion. He approached you purposefully, and finally, finally, stopped before you.

"It's you," Loki said with conviction, "I'm...I'm Loki. What's your name? All those dreams, and I never got your name."

Stuttering, you told him your name, then continued, "Y-You're real, Loki?" 

Loki lets out a low laugh, "Yes, I am. I am glad...you are too."

You nod your head, tearing up. You had almost given up hope he was real, so this was overwhelming, truly.

"feel free to kiss me if you want, you know? nothing's stopping you." "well, your annoying mouth is making me not want to."

kaeya raises his eyebrow ever so slightly, your gaze still fixated on his face even as your eyebrows scrunch together in exasperation. "so, hypothetically, if i were to shut up, you would much prefer to kiss me?" "...in your dreams, pretty boy." "at least i'm pretty, hm?"

he really knows what he's doing, is what you think, when he moves in closer—so close that you feel his breath fan your face, as you unconsciously hold your breath. kaeya is ridiculously near, and you can't help but just stay in place, frozen by the lingering touch of his finger on your hand.

"if you're going to say all that, then maybe you should stop staring at my lips." oh.

the air almost feels suffocating, but not necessarily in a bad way. he's right, though you wouldn't admit that to his face—honestly, can anyone really blame you? you let out a shaky breath and you reply quietly as the man in front of you chuckles lightly.

"i hate you. so much." "we both know that's not true."

his voice is lower than you've ever heard it before, and your eyes continue to flicker between kaeya's uncovered eye or his stupidly kissable lips.

and, as much as you hate to admit it, he won.

you still feel the smirk on his lips as it hadn't ceased, even after he moved as well to meet your movement forward. a part of you wonders if this is even real—you don't know where to place your thoughts or your hands, and you want to hate the way kaeya hums when you choose to use them to pull him closer (but you don't hate it, unfortunately).

yet, man is mortal, and so you pull away soon after, though he doesn't give you much time to react by putting his lips dangerously close to your ears.

"what a liar." "...that's rich, coming from you."

his laugh is almost silent and so pleasant, and you fight the urge to pull him in for another kiss— "whatever you say." kaeya winks, and perhaps if there is one thing you'd be okay with admitting, it would be your thanks as he then closes the gap once more, fulfilling your wish (and his) even as you once again think of how much you hate this man (we all know that's not true, though).

Even though I’ve lagged behind reading Lovestruck routes because of school and life in general, hearing that the app is shutting down is still heart breaking. That app got me through a lot and I remember waiting each week for updates and then ravenously reading it at 3am before school. It’ll be a definite loss, especially to the wlw community as Lovestruck was one of the few apps that prioritizes wlw readers and puts thought and care into romance routes. Not to mention the representation for non-binary and trans individuals.

That being said PLEASE Archive the routes and upload them somewhere like YouTube. For others who want to come back to to app and it’s stories but also for new readers. Stories like these are important and deserve to be preserved.
