Conditioning may have made you have opinions or say things, or even do stuff that aren't really part of you and who you are, just to be accepted by others and not be abandoned. Just to be able to survive (humans live in communities and in the prehistoric age, they would not have been able to survive if they got left out of groups).
Please come back to yourself and realize what are your real thoughts and try to separate yourself from those of others. It can be hard to do at first, it can be unsettling and tough, scary for sure, but that's mostly cause your mind wants to suggest you it's too risky and you may end up alone if you start being yourself and not follow the lead of others. But that's not true. You can survive and find the people that by nature, are exactly like you.

Energies significantly influence our mental and emotional responses. They function like programs running on our "brain computers,” generating thoughts and emotions.
Positive energies can produce uplifting responses, such as joyful feelings and perceiving adversity as challenges and opportunities for growth. Conversely, negative energies can evoke harmful thoughts and emotions, such as negative self-talk and worries. These negative energies may stem from unresolved emotional or mental conflicts, obsolete promises, curses, or negative beliefs.
Energies can also attract real-life scenarios to make us aware of their existence. This is how our souls and the Universe push us to grow and heal.
By being mindful of our thoughts and emotions, as well as engaging in mental exercises and energy healing, we can transmute and release negative energies, stop them from perpetuating, and reprogram our mental and emotional patterns.
P.S. Practicing positive affirmations is an extremely useful exercise to reprogram ourselves. Numerous techniques, both mental and spiritual, can help release negative energies and transform our internal programming. If you would like to learn more, you can download my booklet—Pathway to Bliss: A Holistic Approach Toward Better Well-being—by visiting this page (www.StarlightWithin.com/free-guide).
P.P.S. The people we encounter in life carry their own sets of programs that they need to resolve. Often, they act as mirrors, reflecting back to us the programs that we are running, thus our programs and theirs can be related.
P.P.P.S. Could we be living in a simulation, where each of us acts as characters running our own unique sets of programs? That's one way to see it ;)

I really really like that lucanis reaches the 'there must be some way through this' realization 'off camera', so to speak, while presumably looking at rook explaining the situation to spite. it just. hits right. he gets that moment to himself after 'this place is a nightmare, why would I want to stay here' to come back into focus, to gather himself and think it through in peace, outside of the demands of anyone’s gaze (including the player’s!), while rook takes care of spite’s confusion and urgency and distress as he can’t himself in this shattered state. they're inside his soul, but he still gets that moment of privacy, with rook and spite there and supporting but not intruding. idk there's just something so good and right-feeling about it. rook's presence in lucanis' mind at its most vulnerable and frozen could have felt SO invasive if the quest wasn't written as skillfully as it is, and I get skeeved out by that kind of thing incredibly easily so it's a testament to how well it's done that it always feels safe and supportive. lucanis has had both his bodily and psychological (slash spiritual/existential) integrity and autonomy violated so brutally and repeatedly, and having even the way the camera perceives him here grant him the dignity and respect and privacy of soul he hasn’t experienced in a long time… it’s a whole thing huh. No wonder it’s taken me a while to put it into words lol
(also what a contrast to what solas and rook have got going on, and what a sly way to slide the point of comparison in there to build to the thematic whole. the solas version of this IS of course wildly invasive and skeeves me out but in the intended delighted horror movie way. solas, too, was let into someone’s soul through the cracks in the wake of a traumatic event, and he IMMEDIATELY sought to turn it to his own benefit and use that trauma as a weapon against them fhdsja I’m sorry but it’s just such a character-revealing instinct for him to act on without hesitation and I love how terrible he is, it’s all so unforgivably premeditated and consistent.
rook acting out of the desire to make sure lucanis is ok vs. solas going ‘well. When life gives you oops killed my friend, make dead friend poisoned lemonade and make his loved ones drink it. this sunk cost fallacy isn’t going to perpetuate itself’ is such a neat contrast and it’s not in your face about it but it’s still there, deep and solid down in the thematic narrative. rook doesn’t do anything to or in lucanis’ mind, really — they negotiate their way through the layers of defense and are let through, and they help him make the whole thing more explicable, but they never exert any force or go rooting around for anything that doesn’t present itself to them first. solas goes about gathering ammo for when he's going to nothing personel kid this person from like the first moment fhdskh doesn't waste a second before he's on that gaslight gatekeep girlboss grind. the fact that the game goes out of its way to show there IS a respectful, non-selfish and kind version of this process makes what solas is doing even more deliciously awful (glee) and rook and lucanis’ relationship (platonic, romantic, whatever it might be in any given playthrough) all the more moving to me)
#dragon age#dragon age: the veilguard#dragon age: the veilguard spoilers#dragon age spoilers#lucanis dellamorte#solas#getting some affectionate solas slander in there is always correct as far as I'm concerned that's basically his form of prayers I think#one of the most non-alienating depictions of trauma and mental illness I've come across honestly. up there with harrow the ninth#(which is the all-timer of course. that book gets me when no one else gets me) and the hawk and a hacksaw speech in due south#for things that have resonated with me recently. you can tell how deeply lucanis feels like he's a completely shattered and destroyed thing#that can't come together and be a person again. and the narrative treats him with such affection and respect anyway#even on the worst route where he doesn't really get to resolve anything he IS still a full whole incredibly loveable (and hilarious) person#even though he can't see that from the inside at this point because there's so much pain and confusion in the way.#and there's no condemnation or blame there that he shuts down irrevoccably in many ways on the fallen treviso route -- only#a neutral not-unsympathetic recognition that this was one thing too many added to the burden. this was more than he could take.#and it's not a failing it's just a fact. he's surviving the only way he knows how even when it isn't immediately uplifting or cathartic#no there are things here that's beyond you to help him with and you have to sit with the discomfort and grief of that without#getting acess to his inner life the same semi-unguarded way again actually. it's so interesting. it's subtle and real.#he was a person with deeply entrenched patterns of psychological defense before he met you and you are not an exception to that#in an automatic way. you can't 'fix him' or his relationships you can only be there with him and when conditions are right that alone heals#(subtlety in some of these things I think a lot of the 'rook is only a therapist' criticism completely fails to engage with. btw.)#anyway. he means the world to me and I love this game I only wish there was more of it

thinking of Thire using a lot of slang and just "online speak" in the way that he will casually threaten others or say very weird and rude/inappropriate things without much thought, and how this spreads to Fox since he's helping train him to be a Commander, which results in moments like Fox saying "i'm naming you in my suicide note" when Wolffe tells him he sounds a bit hoarse. Fox is embarrassed of course because he didn't mean that and he didn't like how dramatic that is, Wolffe is just stunned and a bit scared, but will chuckle about it later when he learns Fox wasn't serious. it happens again during a meeting with a few of his captains, where one talked about some sculpture being "sloppy" and "pitiful" and he replied with "nobody cares about your sex life". horrified/amused/confused silence in the room, he wants to melt through the floor. he swears them all to secrecy, and makes Thire work with the other Commanders more often.

When the Yarn Loses Its Spark: Coping with Burnout and Reclaiming Joy
Knitting has always been a joy for me, a safe haven if you will. It is a meditative, tactile way to unwind after a long day or express creativity in a tangible form. There’s something magical about turning a ball of yarn into a scarf, sock, sweater—or even just a swatch. But somewhere along the way, what once brought calm and joy can start to feel like... a chore. Currently, I'm working on multiple projects while also using knitting to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A lot is going on, and I have a full-time job on top of it! It's hard to maintain that spark while working towards multiple deadlines.
Yes, knitters get burned out too.
And it’s not just knitting. Any hobby, no matter how beloved, can become a source of stress if we’re not careful. Maybe you’ve taken on too many projects, agreed to knit gifts on a deadline, or compared yourself too much to other creators online. Suddenly, the peaceful act of stitching one row at a time feels more like work than pleasure.
Why Burnout Happens
Here are a few common reasons burnout creeps into creative hobbies like knitting:
Overcommitment: Saying “yes” to too many projects or requests.
Perfectionism: Feeling like everything has to be flawless or match some ideal.
Comparison: Scrolling through perfectly styled Instagram grids and wondering why your sweater looks a little... lumpy.
Monotony: Sticking to the same patterns, colors, or yarn types for too long.
Pressure to be productive: Treating your hobby like a second job rather than a source of rest.
Signs You Might Be Experiencing Knitting Burnout
You haven’t touched your needles in weeks (or months), but the guilt still lingers.
You keep buying yarn but never feel excited to use it.
You start projects and abandon them halfway through (again).
You feel like you should knit, not that you want to.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone—and more importantly, it’s okay.
How to Combat Hobby Burnout
Take a Break Without Guilt Put the needles down. Literally. You’re not failing or giving up—you’re resting. Walk away for a few days, weeks, or even months. The yarn will wait for you. Creativity can’t flourish under pressure.
Reframe the Relationship Try thinking about knitting (or any hobby) as a relationship, not a task. Relationships change over time. Maybe your needs have shifted. Maybe you need to fall in love with it again—on new terms.
Start Small Again Return to the basics: a dishcloth, a simple beanie, or even a square. No pressure. No deadline. Just stitch for the sake of stitching. Rediscover the rhythm without needing a finished product.
Switch Things Up If you’re bored, challenge yourself! Try a new technique, different yarn weight, or something completely outside your comfort zone—like tapestry knitting or making tiny knitted animals. Newness can refresh the brain.
Unfollow, Mute, or Step Back from Social Media If you’re constantly comparing your work to others, take a digital detox. You don’t owe the internet your progress photos. Knit for you.
Connect with Real People Attend a knitting group or chat with other crafters. Burnout often thrives in isolation. Talking about your frustrations and joys can make the experience feel lighter and more communal.
Give Yourself Permission to Quit That project you’re dreading finishing? Frog it. Donate it. Repurpose the yarn. Letting go can be incredibly freeing. Not everything you start has to be completed—especially if it’s draining your joy.
Knitting, like any hobby, is supposed to nourish you—not drain you. If you’re feeling burnt out, remember: the spark can return, but only if you give yourself space and grace. You don’t need to earn rest. You’re allowed to do things just because they feel good—and to stop when they don’t.
And who knows? One day soon, you may find yourself reaching for those needles, not out of obligation, but because you’re ready to create again, one stitch at a time.

Family Portrait
(I’ve wanted to draw this for a while… xD)
'Something' gave me the push I needed to finally do it LOL
More below (warning: long post)
Tumblr media
Okay show of hands. Who rebooted their old Tomodachi Life game (or Miitopia) after Nintendo announced it for the switch? Cause I know I sure did lol
You all saw me enjoying myself with Miitopia a bit but then I found my Tomodachi Life game, and…it was a file with an Island full of every single Danganronpa Character. Its even called Dangan Island. (I did this back in 2017 lol)
It was kinda fun to go back to it, but then I decided I wanted to add Yuma to the game too. So I did…after soft resetting for hours to get Makoto or Kyoko to want to have a baby… xD
Look at him :D
Tumblr media
And it was fun watching the little guy grow up. I practically went picture happy on him xD So I thought I’d share his little days of growth~ (his hair is gray while he's little because purple wasn't an option in the og mii creator so he has Kyoko's base hair color ;w; Hopefully the sequel will have more options for hair)
This is the closest I’ll get to seeing him have a childhood w these two as his mom and dad. Lol thanks tomodachi life)
The babies in this game are so cute and silly ;w;

There he is all grown up :3 In a rainy apartment haha~
Also: Makoto and Kyoko already had another child before. So Yuma has an older sister named Hope (of course lol) Its nice that he hangs out with her and the siblings of this game are already in relationships by default~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Hi Komaru LOL)
I actually made a bonus drawing where I included Hope. (or my interpretation of her) Since her eyes are gray, that means her eyes are purple in the art. She has Kyoko's eyes. And since Yuma is as pale as Kyoko, I figured maybe Hope had some of the tanner pigment in her skin like her dad c: (she's more a mix of both her parents, while Yuma is just 90% Kyoko XD)
Tumblr media
Such a nice family c:
I'm excited for the sequel of Tomodachi LIfe.
And yes, I made everyone else in RainCode once Yuma grew up :3
Tumblr media
This was the best I could do ;w; The OG mii creator is so limited...
Hope you enjoyed this silly long post x3

Still fully anticipating a Yor arc upcoming and the maths are mathing, is what I'm saying
Tumblr media
(More seriously, it gave me vibes from 58.2 when Twilight and Bond save Daisy the pup from the fire, and Twilight gives his "You have to take care of yourself because there's someone waiting for you at home" speech - more specifically to the theory that 58.1-58.2 are the concluding chapters for the Cruise Arc*, and so is in direct dialogue with Yor's speech "Even if it means living a life that could end at any moment... even if it means leaving the Forger family," recommitment to self-sacrifice... Do you see the dots?)
*I alas don't have access to this theory: I read it summarised somewhere (reddit?) that it's a popular theory on the Japanese side of fandom and haven't been able to shake it since. But if anyone has links, pls drop 'em!

Based on my temple designs or.. my own legally distinct religious faction
An expertly crafted Nun or Monk habit, the attire representative of the local faith. What you initially mistook for simple gold trim turns out to be intricately stitched gold embroidery depicting a chain of eyes. You almost feel like they're staring at you; blinking whenever the fabric shifts and the gold catches the light. It is an old, but pervasive belief of the high-clergy that sight is superfluous to any true believer and that the strength of your conviction alone should suffice as guidance. “True conviction and strength of faith can only be conveyed by the surrender of ones base instincts– The highest, purest form of devotion is blind trust” - The Archbishop

Genshin Cult AU but reader really doesn’t wanna be creator
warning(s): mental-health issues, mentions of suicide, mentions of death and killing, angst
Isekaied reader who always dreamed of going to teyvat but when they actually go, they realize they took for granted their life before. They’re homesick and want nothing more to return to their family.
They hide and no one recognizes the creator’s face. Reader makes friends with people and becomes close. However, they’re devout followers of the creator. Reader goes to “mass” with them and when they’re there they can hear their prayers. They decide to help them out in their own way.
Someones missing, they goes out to find the missing person and since none of the creatures hurt them, it’s relatively easy.
Someone’s sick, reader buys them medicine or helps heal them.
Reader accidentally helps too many people and they begin to suspect them. Their very close friend apologizes before cutting reader and their golden blood is shown to all. Reader feels heartbroken at their close friend being distant out of respect. They just wanted to help people, they didn’t want to be put on a pedestal. They wish no one ever knew. And all of a sudden everyone forgot about reader being the creator.
That’s when reader finds out they can erase memories/control minds. They decide to leave since nothing is the same.
They become depressed and starts drinking. Reader heads over to mondstadt and drowns themself in alcohol and gets heavily drunk in front of diluc. He figures out that they’re the creator after ranting to him in their druken state. However, they erase his memories.
For years, reader lives while erasing the memories of those who discover them. During this time, they’ve tried to off themself several times only to fail. Finally, after the boredom and loneliness sinks in, they finally decide to give being creator a shot. They think it can’t be that bad and reveals themself. They were wrong.
Now reader has a suffocating pressure on them at all times. So, instead of erasing their memories (since they’ve been doing that for years), reader tries to do something different. They try to be evil.
Reader kills people off/orders their execution at the slightest of things. They hope that their evilness will spark the people’s will to kill them. However, no one bats an eye. All of the acolytes believe that they’re right no matter how cruel reader is. Even the families of the people they’ve killed think that there must have been something wrong with their loved one for the creator to sentence them to death.
Because they are so blind with devotion, reader tries to manipulate them into hating them. Poisoning the acolytes mind against themself. That still doesn’t work. Even if reader blatantly tells them that they don’t give a fuck about any of them, the acolytes just become more determined to fix themselves so that reader approves of them.
Next, reader tries to use mind control to force the acolytes into killing them. But no amount of damage they do can kill them. They are immortal. When it fails, reader erases their memories.
Finally, reader tells them that they’ve seen of a future where a powerful god/creator from a different universe is planning on invading. They urge everybody to create the most powerful weapon that could kill a creator/god. When they finally create one, reader uses it on themself.
Sad ending: The weapon doesn’t work on them because the acolytes made a safe guard to ensure no harm comes to the creator. Reader is so despaired that they kill everyone and is doomed to live an eternity in an empty universe.
Alternate Ending: Reader manipulates the acolytes to remove the safe guard and then uses it on themself, finally succeeding in killing themself after years of being trapped. But they don’t return to their home-world and remain dead. The entirety of Teyvat suffers from the knowledge that their beloved creator offed themselves to escape the world they created.
