Thoughts on episode 2 of The Ones Who Live cause I can’t talk right now🥲?

You can't trust delivery people. We live in the most remote place right now and anything we need beside food pretty much has to be shipped to us. This morning the delivery person rang the bell and had already fled in the 15 seconds it took me to rush downstairs. The package is open on two places and half of what is supposed to be in is missing. It's about 20kg and since the delivery person ran away and my husband is deployed, pregnant me had to somehow roll that square package inside otherwise it would have stayed under the rain. Silly. Can't wait to move to another place.

I decided to do this with a friend, so you can suggest five characters that I will draw from any fandom. \(//∇//)\

For context, I work in a shipping warehouse.

Every time that we book a shipment, a little 1x4” receipt sticker gets generated for each shipping label that looks like this:

Back in 2019, my coworkers and I decided to save these stickers and just stick them all together as we work. See what happens.

So these seemingly innocuous strips of paper slowly built up layer after layer, and we’d sorta beat it on the concrete to increase the density…

After about 2 years of commitment, the result was a masterpiece. A life size replica of Thor’s hammer composed entirely of thermal paper and adhesive. It weighs around 12 lbs and packs quite a wallop.

After this project, we started fresh and created a little time capsule that can be encased in receipt stickers. Progress was slow, employees came and went. I promoted up and now I run the shipping department. Our workflow has changed and we no longer have the time to work on the project while on the clock. But I have continued to save each and every sticker that we generate, and just dumped them in a drawer until I can find the time to get back to work.

This brings us to today.

I’m now on paternity leave! And I made sure to collect the massive sum of stickers before I left.

Here’s where we are so far. I’m thinking this one has big pineapple energy, but I’m really not sure how big it will end up! If you have any suggestions for what it should be, let me know!

I have been thinking about writing this post for several days. I would also like to thank my boyfriend and my two best friends who helped me make this decision.

I will start from the beginning, so I will start with the fact that I have been feeling very badly mentally lately. You know it or not, I am studying Pharmacy and I can’t cope with these studies (chemistry overwhelms me). Because of these studies, I visited a psychologist five times and a psychiatrist once. I want to change my degree course in October and go to writing, correcting mistakes, proofreading the text. In Poland, we call it ‘Editing’ and I really like the vision of me at these studies. Maybe someday I will work in a manga editorial office or publish my own book? Who knows :) Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.

Nevertheless, I feel that I still need the help of a internist (due to stress I have stomach problems, my hair is falling out and my complexion is terrible), a psychologist or a psychiatrist, and probably pills that will calm me down; I have been suffering from depression and social anxiety disorder for 7 years, I feel like I have return of a depressive state for the 3rd time this year and I just can’t cope. I have a wonderful family, friends and partner, but they are not doctors, I need to talk to my Doctor. Unfortunately, I am a young student and I have a hard time with money, especially after inflation in Poland, where one visit costs 250 PLN (+/- 60 USD). That’s a lot of money for me, unfortunately.

After long talks with my loved ones, I would like to activate again my KO-FI account. I have had it for a year and I received one donation there, for which I am grateful to this day!

I need your opinion

Im currently revising a book set in Japan. I have a set of six characters, all having their names ending in "-ko", plus another one with a similar name to my protagonist.

They're called Ikko, Niko, Sanko, Ito, Mariko, Kazuko and Hinako.

I'm wondering if the names are probably to similar and if so, which names are problematic (won't change Ikko, Niko and Sanko, as they are mains, but I could switch calling Ikko by his nickname).
