Starting to get extremely frustrated with people's complete lack of boundaries regarding non sharing selfshippers/yumeshippers.

"Francesca's infertility plotline is ruined now! It was so important in the books!" Why can't she still have this particular plot, while still being with Michaela? Why is that suddenly erased now that Michael is a woman? Do you not believe that sapphic woman can't also struggle with infertility? There are multiple ways that the show can still incorporate this.

"Why are they making everyone gay now? It was fine when it was just Benedict but now-" I'm going to stop you right there. What's wrong with having more than one queer character? There are multiple straight people in the show, and in most forms of media, but you draw the line at having more than one gay/queer person? Imagine what it's like for other queer people to not be represented or to only have that one person be a vessel for the entire community. Doesn't sound very fair right? Another thing, because I see a lot of people who say this call themselves "allies", it doesn't sound very supportive when you say things like this. It doesn't instill confidence in your support for the queer community when you can't even fathom the possibility of more than one queer person on your screen without complaint. It's okay to be a little bummed out about the change, but to use rhetoric like above feels very...it leaves a sour taste in the mouth personally.

I know there are many bad takes about Gale on this site, but the worst takes I’ve seen on another social media site in another language are much more abhorrent than anything here tbh, the recent one I’ve seen even gets some popularity among his “fans”... They were basically saying it’s Mystra who made him the humble man he is now, without her influence on him he would be as egotistical as in his god ending, and more than a hundred of reblogs are all thanking Mystra for “training her lapdog so well” for them🤢

Did we even play the same game? Isn’t his god ending a direct result of Mystra making him think he will never be enough as he is, and he can only find his self-worth through gaining more power? Didn’t Tara say he’s not himself anymore and she would no longer be his companion in his god ending, she knew him long before Mystra made him her chosen, he was powerful enough before his relationship with Mystra, if he’s anything like god!Gale at the time wouldn’t Tara just leave him? I’d imagine he would have been more confident and had a more stable self-image if Mystra had never contacted him, therefore he didn’t even need the Gale of Waterdeep persona. He would always have been Gale Dekarios in that timeline. And people glorifying Mystra’s grooming and abuse towards him and unironically calling him “her lapdog” is just... I have no words. Update on the Fusion Situation

Well, like Caddy I think posted a few days ago, we just underwent a huge fusion phase. We're half-jokingly referring to it as Fuse-A-Palooza because it's one of those "if you didn't laugh you'd cry" kind of things. There's a sense that things might have stopped for now, so now we're left picking up the pieces. None of our front triggers are working, and our internal logic for how things connect together is still currently broken. If you look out of a window there's nothing but a black void; if you go through a door that's supposed to take you into an adjacent area, it dumps you somewhere completely random. So most everyone is just sheltering in place where they are, and that's left most of us stranded and unable to front until it repairs itself.

But, let's get to the point. Our headcount has gone way down since this started; a lot of us have fused or have undergone drastic shifts. We've gone from 39 to I think 28 as of my last count. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing - this is what healing with Dissociative Identity Disorder can look like, and chances are we were never supposed to have so many fragments in the first place. Having 30 years of unresolved trauma meant we ended up with multiple superfluous splits; so this was our brain finally making the necessary connections between them, and "tidying up". That doesn't mean we won't miss them, though. Limited personality or not, they meant a lot to us while they were here - they were our friends, our lovers, our siblings, our children. Even those of us that escaped fusion won't escape the mixed feelings that come with alters being different, or ceasing to exist as individuals. There's a list of who fused under the cut, and we'll be slowly updating our alter list to reflect any new, fused alters, and changes in pronouns where applicable. Ironically, it might take some time to recover from this major step in our recovery; but we'll make it through somehow, as we always do. Four of us are working as hard as we can to keep lines of communication open and re-establish connections, so we'll soon find our new normal. Thanks for the well-wishes.
