"one day, one room" hits so hard. they address abortion. they address rape. they talk about philosophy, and God, and parental abuse. and we get to see so much of House that he keeps buried deep deep down that the situation strangles out of him. it's different in its format than most episodes, but i don't think i've ever been left so emotionally raw by this show before.

Thinking about rooms. Who we're trapped with I each. She changed him. She created a new perspective. A new line of thinking. He doesn't often open himself to new ideas. She broke through that. Through his walls. One other person does that. His God. He told her something he doesn't talk about. She changed him, he changed her.

I'm reading one day, one room rn, and I'm about halfway through. I just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying the story so far! (along with your author notes :D )
I'm not sure how many times I've yelled oh shit, or fuck please don't do that, or oh god that's not gonna be good. I get strange looks, ok? 😂
And I can't forget the holding my breath moments, and the 🥺💜 awwwwwwww's
And the hyperventilating and holy fucking shit at the end of chapter 12 (which is where I am)
So thank you for this awesome addition into the absolute cesspool that can be this niche of writing :D
I'm looking forward to finishing the story and I'll probably be back to let you know how it went! 💜
HOLY SHIT THANKS FOR THE CANNON BLAST OF FREE SEROTONIN. Thank you so much for reading my story ❤️❤️ And thank you DOUBLE for taking the time to come tell me about it. This is my very favorite thing on earth.
I hope you do come back and let me know how it went :)

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

spock’s room decor is actually fucking bonkers. The weapons??? the big red velvet curtain??? like ok phantom of the opera go crazy.
for reference jim’s room has some photos and a plant so we can surmise this is uniquely a spock being a dramatic weirdo thing

everyone makes fun of soap when they find out how many hair and skin products he keeps on hand. the cabinet in his bathroom is filled to bursting and he always keeps travel sized bottles on him on missions
when soldiers outside the 141 find out, they call him precious and self-obsessed, a vain pretty boy too preoccupied with his reflection to focus on the enemy. no wonder how he got his callsign. price has given up telling him to leave them on base and just teaches him to individually wrap them so they don’t rattle against each other and give himself away
what they don’t know is that each product contains an ingredient that when mixed with any number of the others, creates potent chemical bombs. he was caught unarmed once, he won’t let it happen again
