how to create a leveling up/dream girl/rebranding plan 🤍🍸🖤

establish your aesthetic

first thing’s first, you need to know where you want to go in life and what is your “aesthetic”? do you want to be giving “classy, businesswoman”? what about “nyc socialite”? of course these are just examples, but you should know what type of girl you want to embody. remember, you don’t have to fit a narrative, but you should have a general “aesthetic” that you want to be associated with. even if it’s 50 million different aesthetics, it’s whatever makes you, you.

visualize yourself/life

get inspired by making a vision board (physical or digital) and add to your board (if digital) daily. i find that this helps you stay in alignment with where you want to be in the future. you have to stay in that frequency and remind yourself of what’s next to come… because this new life is what’s next to come.

start with habits

please refer to my “starting your leveling up journey” post, but basically— you should create 1-3 habits for each of your goals and work on them until they become second nature. then when you’re ready, start implementing more habits that are aligned with your goals.

create routines with your habits

can you incorporate some of these new habits into a morning or evening routine? we all know that routines are important— they almost become our personalities and they set the tone for the day and night, and even the next day. for me, i know i’m only inspired to exercise in the morning around 10am, so exercise is part of my morning routine.

create daily + weekly goals

let’s say part of your journey is learning a new language. a daily goal could be learning one new vocabulary word in that language. your weekly goal could be knowing the alphabet in that language. use this method for all of your goals.

don’t overwhelm yourself with goals, routines, and habits

start slow; don’t overwhelm yourself. if you want to work on one goal at a time, then work on that one goal. burnout is real and it’s very hard to get back into the swing of things afterwards. i understand most of us are impatient when we just want to be a different version of ourselves, but it’s going to take some adjusting. i suggest not working on more than 3 things at once, but if you can work on more, go ahead

be a part of a community to keep you accountable

tumblr and facebook groups in my opinion are the best ways you can connect with other women who are working on the same thing. you can inspire one another, bounce ideas off of one another, and it’s super fun. you might want to even document your journey online.

set milestones and have a reward system

let’s say you would like to lose or gain weight, no matter the number, focus on 5-10 pound increments. when each milestone is successfully completed, reward yourself with something nice. maybe it’s getting your nails done, or splurging on a product that everyone on tiktok keeps talking about. apply this to any of your goals where there are milestones to get to.

don’t waste the day

you should not have any “zero days” meaning… you should be doing at least one thing everyday to reach a goal(s) you have. it doesn’t matter if one goal was to maintain a more organized, clean environment— do your dishes, set the trash out, clean up the hair from the bathroom sink, etc.

This is a short lived system with Miguel. He's usually busy when you try to talk to him and the time it takes to read and respond is too much time away from his work. At least in his opinion. He eventually just programs Lyla to be a translator, even gives you access to her to use when you need, whether it be talking to him, the other spiders or during meetings.

Once the two of you get to know each other better, he takes the time to learn sign language. He's a smart cookie, so it comes pretty easy to him. He'll even pick up SSL so he can share his mother tongue with you. The more attached he gets to you also equivalates with how much attention he gives.

Instead of using Lyla as a translator so he can focus on his work, now all you have to do is tap him on the shoulder and his eyes are fixated on you. It's a little intimidating at first, his gaze intense as he watches you sign, but you get used to it the longer you're around him. He hates when people try to talk to him while you are; in his mind they're talking over you. So he's snapped at a few people/completely ignored them.

"Huh? I was listening to Y/N."

If you are interested in the idea, he'll even go out of his way to make hearing aids. I picture his universe is almost utopic in that the cost for medicine/prosthetics is either really cheap or just plain free. That being said, he'd probably still just make you a pair of hearing aids on his own, more sentimental that way. However, if you turn down the offer he's fine with that too. Your body, your choice right?

Sorry if you've already talked about this before, but what do you think about the notion that horror is generally bad because it has a misogyny problem, and that exploitation / r&r films are problematic and the ppl who watch them are suspicious? i don't really know how to explain what i mean too well but i know you usually have very nuanced takes about this kind of thing 🤍

honestly i don't think horror has a greater misogyny problem than any other film genre, though how the problem presents itself may be different. it's maybe more blatant within horror but not necessarily worse. movies have a misogyny problem across all genres, i don't think horror is special in that. horror films do inspire some strong reactions though, so i can understand why it prompts more discussion in that vein.

rape & revenge is a particular case, and it's difficult to discuss. i have a lot of thoughts about it, but i find it hard to put it down in writing because they're not very cohesive. i actually did a little research and asked around for material about r&r because i wanted to give an informed opinion but i didn't find much. it'd be easier for me to discuss particular movies anyway, because i don't think i've explored the genre deeply enough.

there are some &r movies i really really love and i know some people watch them because they find the degradation of women titillating -- that upsets me but it doesn't stop me from enjoying or admiring the movie itself. some r&r movies are, in my opinion, really interesting and engaging and i'd go so far as to call them beautiful and thoughtful. of course for each of those you'll probably find a greater number of misogynistic drivel -- but i can't affirm that for sure because so much of my experience has been guided by what other women have watched, enjoyed and recommended, so i've probably avoided whatever didn't have much to offer. but then that's always really subjective -- for example, i don't care for i spit on your grave but my mom sort of loves it. i don't think her opinion is any less valid than mine, and i find opinions differ a lot when it comes to r&r.

i do have a question that i'd like to pose to you but also anyone else reading this, which is -- what you think of when you think of rape & revenge? do you consider only exploitation movies or do you also consider titles like the virgin spring or kuroneko? because of course there's a lot to be discussed about exploitation films, and how some directors managed to make genuinely interesting works while trying to remain commercial and please a certain audience. like, there are things in r&r exploitation films that i could do without but i can still admire the final result. but then sometimes i think of like, thriller: a cruel picture and how the pornographic scenes impact the movie in a way that i personally find interesting because it makes it all the more brutal, and the director really managed to make it all very non-erotic and even cold and distant... sort of going through the motions in a way that imo fits perfectly with what's going on.

but there's just so much to discuss about exploitation and about r&r specifically, a lot of my thoughts are not very cohesive or well informed. i'm curious to know how others feel about it, especially other women, and i'd love to discuss it more. but it's hard to give a solid opinion because i can see the matter through many different angles. like, of course the fact that r&r often targets a male audience while exploiting the suffering and degradation of women is a problem and reflective of a bigger one. but many r&r movies have genuine value and, more importantly, have real value to a lot women.

Gods and Signs

I’ve seen a lot of people and posts lately talking about signs from the Gods, and saw a lot of it around when I first started up. Especially on things like witchtok. So let’s talk about it! Warning, this is my personal opinion and how I have been taught over the years.

Any God can give a sign to any person. But there are diverging paths with signs.

First, I wanted to talk about what retains the biggest focus on Godly signs that I’ve seen, and that’s witchcraft. In my practice and experience, working with a God and worshipping them are two different things (though not exclusive! I do both all of the time). I believe you need absolutely no signs or communication to worship a God. Definitely not. What would be the point in that? They accept worship from everyone!

But, it’s a little different when working with a God. Working with a God is something that comes with a lot of witchcraft practices, and is also prevalent in some people’s worship (not all, though). When you wish to work directly with a God, it is polite and rite of passage to reach out to the God, or send out an intention that you wish for Them to reach out to you. You will either receive signs or you won’t—it can be as small as getting overwhelming thoughts of working with Them, or as big as Them sending Their sacred animal to you.

You cannot make a God work with you, so if you do not get a sign or confirmation, most people will just continue on.

Now, that being said, in terms of worship you absolutely do not need a sign. Signs can absolutely be given! But you do not need one to worship a God. If that helps any beginners in their stress over receiving signs.

Witchtok has made a huge deal over receiving signs, and that has panicked/stressed a lot of beginners. In fact, witchtok makes a huge deal out of a lot of stuff to do with the Gods that freaks beginners out a bit. I would know, I was one of them. But you only need to worry about signs in regards to whether you should start something when you are attempting to establish a working relationship with the God or want to incorporate Them into a craft.

All that being said, this is just how I was taught and my belief, so some things I’ve said may be outdated or different than others’ beliefs. But I just wanted to provide a little breathing room for the new Hellenic Polytheists I’ve seen around getting nervous about signs. Everything is okay! Breathe! I know a lot of people can make things seem strict or scary, but I promise you as long as you’re respectful, it’s very hard to really mess up or anger anyone.

Rambling over, but I am always open to questions from beginners who are nervous. I was not given a space to ask questions at the beginning of my practice, and that caused a lot of stress, panic, and errors. I am a firm believer in researching for yourself, but sometimes we just need that human connection, and someone with experience to just tell us we aren’t fucking up. I want to be that space, since I did not have one. I will answer whatever I can.

Sexuality Headcanon: Gay. So gay. Did I mention he's gay? I mean I think there is some potential wiggle room with Aerith but that's because her balls are bigger than his.

Gender Headcanon: I think in practice from an outsider POV, more agender than anything else. Gender is not really something that he thinks of and interacts with other than his discomfort with how he gets portrayed in the media. That said, I think if you asked him, he would say CIS male because that's how he self identifies so I'll respect that and say CIS male.

A ship I have with said character: Have I mentioned Genseph to you lately? No? Then I must be dead. Like I love AGSZC, I do, and even more than that, I love AGS in general because I believe they balance each other out but I could happily ship Genesis/Sephiroth on it's own maerits, but I can't see Sephiroth/Angeal on it's own. It's not a notp or anything, it just doesn't work in terms of balance for me. Genesia and Sephiroth fire and ice in balance and it just works. They push and pull at each other, both literally and metaphorically, and what they say and what their body says are sometimes in total contrast which fascinates me. Genesis is quite literally the choatic colour for a monochromatic world and Sephiroth needs that chaos to find himself so he doesn't get the desire for human smores.

A BROTP I have with said character: It's a toss up. I would say Aerith because that same feral energy comes from her (family trait clearly) but they both also have this shared experience of being former Shinra lab kiddos and her enthusiasm is only rivalled by Zack's. I feel like Sephiroth always needs someone to just grab him and move instead of asking him to come along and Aerith does that. That said, professionally, I'm fond of him and Tseng interacting. Like they have so much to deal with between choatic red heads and Heidegger being a few fries short of a moogle meal at his job, let them bond.

A NOTP I have with said character: Vincent. I can't ship something where 'that's not how your mum used to do it' is a response that could be canonically correct.

A random headcanon: Understands so much more than he's given credit for. I love to write roboseph as much as the next person, but I feel like he leans into it in a very Captain Holt type way and it's become part of his sense of humour to fuck with people by pretending he doesn't understand something or that he's not understanding their meaning till they get annoyed and let him be or call him on it. This is helped along by being so deadpan that it's almost impossible to know when he's being serious. He is a study in microexpressions and few people understand them.

General Opinion over said character: I think one of the things that throws me about Sephiroth is when people can't see CC era Sephiroth being the same guy as OG/AC era Sephiroth, but for me, this is one of the things that drew me to him as a character. That he is someone who got broken into pieces and is picking them up, emulating people, trying to rebuild a sense of self but clinging onto this belief that he's special because he's always been special. Like this is a person who is horribly broken in a lot of ways and one day, I want to write AC era and give him an arc with that but I think my main opinion of him is that I love that he's got all of these facets of his character.

He is the kid looking for validation and family from TFS, he is still the awkward dude from CC, he is the person who lost everything and chose to just get a meteor and start over and he's someone who is afraid of losing whatever he has of himself left. Like he contains multitudes, he's a fascinating character made all the more fascinating by the more normal things about him.

My Honest Thoughts on KaySun after Episode 62 🖤

I Can Excuse Bad Characters, But Not Bad Writing

Another ride. I’ve gathered myself and my thoughts up to once again marvel at the bad writing this show has. It’s only saved by KaySun’s chemistry thanks to Taro and Beril’s talents.

Before I begin, I want to say that all these are my own opinions, and I don’t think I’m a 100% right so I welcome other people’s opinions as well. Next, I don’t watch this show religiously—I only look at Kaya and Suna’s scenes, and even then I don’t watch it on the official channel live.

I also want to say I can excuse bad characters, but I cannot excuse bad writing.

I also wish the characters acted logically instead of for the sake of the plot and whatever politics goes behind the scenes (who is your backer, Buce? Onur?) but yeah.

Anyway, let’s start.

Bad Writing

Suna has been OOC for the most part; unfortunately, now, Kaya is as well. The cheating thing was too abrupt. The reason why I take issue with this is because characters are supposed to be driven by the motivations set up by them by the writer. The sudden, illogical changes in Kaya’s and Suna’s characters show that the writer is making them act out of character only 1) for the sake of the plot, 2) to be used as collateral for SeyFer parallels, and 3) to bring in the shock value and retain reytings—a cheap OGM move, because now the story is bad and has lost its value.

I will not excuse Kaya’s and Suna’s behavior. However, I wish they showed us that they were capable of doing such things early on instead of making them OOC. It’s giving me whiplash.

Kaya’s Cheating

I want to say, I hope this is an AsLaz (Yabani) and EsZan (Aşk Mantık İntikam) situation wherein the guy was flat out drunk / drugged and nothing actually happened. But even before that, he was being friendly and basking in Pelin’s attention. Granted, she’s a childhood friend, and he needed someone to talk to—but not someone to flirt with.

I hate how OOC Kaya is. You do not write someone to be a loser in love, who is a stickler for loyalty and protecting his wife, only to throw it all out the window for the sake of a cheap parallel plot. I wish they hinted at Kaya having a roving eye during his marriage with Suna. I would be able to swallow the plot more. However, they doubled down, making him very ideal and loyal, only for him to suddenly “cheat” on her after she acts a bit strange after…4 days? After he was waiting for her to call him?

The fact that he did it with Pelin (and not Pırıl—wtf happened to that plot, anyway?) irks me as well because he knows how Suna feels about Pelin. Maybe Kaya was really drunk (we know he gave up drinking after his ONS with Pırıl), but again, it doesn’t excuse his behavior. And it’s a slap to our faces to see him cuddling in bed with Pelin when we didn’t even get that post-halver scene with Suna.

I want to retain the hope that nothing is as it seems and it’s all an elaborate ploy by Pelin—she will blackmail him for sure, I just know it. I feel he will bring her to the mansion under the guise of protecting her from Serter, and maybe Seyran will beat her up. But I’m not taking my chances.

What do I think will happen next? I do hope Kaya shows remorse and guilt, I do hope he grovels for Suna. I think KaySun will be happy together for a bit before she finds out. However, there are alternative theories in the fandom that 1) He will fall for Pelin for real with his savior complex and make her an official mistress, and/or 2) Pelin gets pregnant. Personally, I don’t see any of those things happening, but who knows with such illogical, poorly planned writing? (Also, no one has sex like 4 days after a miscarriage and a C-section. The same way a loyal man won’t do a 180 after fighting for his wife for 4 days).

Suna’s Destiny

I think I’ve made my thoughts on Suna’s fortune telling arc quite clear in this other post, so I’ll try to keep this short.

We can see her waking up in this episode (we also see that İfakat was behind this sht). But unfortunately, her change of heart came too late—because Kaya has now potentially done something irredeemable?

I am also mad at how OOC Suna is because she’s clearly sane but SO illogically affected by a fortune teller. Make it make sense! She is so dumb (she used to be smart, anxiety-riddled but smart) and she is blaming the fortune teller for ruining her life, when it’s all her fault for misinterpreting everything. No one forced her to interpret things a certain way lmfao. She acted (OOC) of her own volition.

It’s such a huge step back from her character development. I hate seeing regression without reason or payoff. Once again, bad writing—she is acting weird because the plot demands her to, when the original character profile for Suna would never.

I know people are saying she cheated on Kaya emotionally for a teensy tiny moment when she rubbed foreheads with that fck@$$ driver. And yes, she was wrong! I’m not justifying her! But Kaya fcking someone else while still married to her was even worse imo.

I think she’s definitely going to try to make it up to Kaya in the next episodes, even though they haven’t closed the fortune teller arc yet. She’ll probably even want a kid. Will Kaya avoid her this time, out of guilt? Or will he hide what he did and carry on like nothing happen? (I really refuse to believe Kaya will make Pelin a full-time mistress, and I hope I am not wrong). Again, we might get happy KaySun and even halvet 2.0 (we cheered) and then when Suna gets pregnant with a son, she’ll find out about Kaya’s infidelity. Idk, we still have 11 episodes left until the finale on June 7, 2024.

KaySun Endgame

I hate to say this, but they will dig us out of the grave with minimal payoff and then make us endgame. As long as they want us to parallel SeyFer. And as long as Taro and Beril don’t leave the cast (and honestly, why would they, when KaySun trends always and has launched them a lot career-wise?), I am sure they will be 100% endgame. (But at what cost?) It’s unfortunate it had to happen this way, but yeah.

Another thing is Taro and Beril are finally doing promotion together. Maybe because Beril got rid of Ersh!t (rumor has it he’s dating the actress who plays the maid the show), and now they’re free to post like the besties they are. I truly do love and admire Taro and Beril’s professionalism, talent, and friendship. And someone pointed out how he posted about the important girls in his life—he included his mom, his pet dog Lila, and Beril, his co-star. They’re honestly so sweet and I love how wholesome their friendship is. Their chemistry and talent shouldn’t go to waste; I sincerely hope that they reunite it a hot digital project in the future, just like Boran and Miray did for HiLeon and HelSav. I want KaySun 2.0 to be better, too!

Also, Taro and Beril posting more photos just feels very genuine—and not just because my girl Beril is finally free. I also feel they’re trying to get us to continue to have hope for KaySun. Though I think they should demand a better plot too, but they’re too professional for that maybe.

I’ll definitely continue watching on the timeline, and I’ll root for Taro and Beril and KaySun happy ending always. But still! This is such clownery, and such new lows even from the most misogynistic production in diziland. I just pray they give us KaySun’s happy endgame.

Final Thoughts

Once again, I hate how OOC KaySun became, and I hope they fix this plot and make it so that what seemed to happen was not what really occurred. Wish they could be redeemable.

I pity Asuman…that guy is gonna blackmail her for money. (Also, Asuman would never sleep with a guy she just met. Wtf?)

I hate how the whole Yalı fcked eo during Ramadan except for KaySun. I don’t know why YÇ hates one of their most popular ships so much, but then again, it’s OGM. They hate women, logic, and happiness.

Binnur Kaya is a talented veteran actress, and I’m not surprised she is leaving, given how underutilized she was on the show. I hope we get a good final arc with Nunu and Kaya, but they barely fleshed out imo. (Why would she give her share to Orhan when he will steal it? 💀) I can’t blame the actress for departing, though Birsen did hint she is open to come back for S3.

I can’t believe I had to witness this during Lent. I have always been a good Catholic, but this show has made me turn to God and prayer more than ever. 🙏🏻

Ok so you mentioned inexperienced Joe and Cherry which got my mind kinda runnin—

I feel like Joe was the guy who, when he was way younger, tried to make it seem like he knew what he was doing because he wanted to seem hot and confident but as soon as the girl he was getting steamy with sat on his lap for the first time, his body instantly went rigid. She asked if he was ok and he said yeah but eventually with a little coaxing and reassurance she finally got him to admit that he had no clue what to do. Either that or when he was young, the only knowledge he had was from p*rn. So he thought he knew what to do but was eventually extremely humbled by the first few girls he was with going "Bro no— what the fuck are you doing." LMFAO idk I can't get it out of my head that before Joe was actually good at flirting and sex he was just a total moron who was either way overconfident in his knowledge or wanted to seem that way. Cherry on the other hand strikes me as the type that actually had a decent amount of good knowledge from different locations, but kind of saw sex as pointless since he was more focused on getting a good career. I think I remember Neon talking about a HC that she had that Cherry was the one who lost his V-card first before Joe, so I'm gonna add onto that and say he did it one night specifically because he wanted to piss Joe off LMFAO. He eventually grows to let loose a little bit and let himself have fun sometimes.

But that whole thing also got me thinking about how they would be if either of them were your first time.

For Joe, he thinks you're absolutely adorable. So cute, so shy, so pliant. He knows how scary it can be to be that intimate with someone for the first time so he'd probably tell you to, "Tell me what you want me to do, Babydoll.~" to give you a sense of control in the situation so you'd maybe feel a bit more at ease. You'd be too shy to say it out loud, either that or your head would be spinning due to everything you're feeling to the point where you can't talk. I can imagine him teasing you a little bit. He clicks his tongue sympathetically, "Awwwh, poor baby... don't be shy, Princess. M'not gonna bite... but if you want me to you gotta tell me, right?" He would probably soothingly rub circles into your hip while coaxing you into being more bold, talking in a voice dripping in liquid sugar. Eventually if you're too shy I can see him dipping down and letting you whisper it in his ear. He'd probably say whatever you said back to you, overly loud with the most smug expression on his face as he watches you curl in on yourself in an attempt to hide your face.

I'm not too sure about Cherry on the other hand. Tbh he kinda strikes me as the type to not wanna be someone's first time, mainly if it's like a one n done situation. He'd probably be way sweeter with a partner but I'm not too sure about specifics. You might have a different opinion or something to add so if you choose to then go off bro :)

i agree on inexperienced kojiro… he wanted to seem like he knew what he was doing, but quickly got humbled by a few (nice) girls who taught him better. as much as he appears like he’s a little too cocky, i don’t see him as being that way intimately until he knows what he’s doing. young kojiro and kojiro in general has a softness to him despite his cockiness and i think he’d freeze up.

and i think you’re right - he’s not one to want to be someone’s first as a one time thing because he wants it to be something special for them, perhaps because it wasn’t for him. some of it also has to do with him fearing you’ll get too attached if you’re not already in a long term relationship; in that regard i almost think he’d put sex off until after “i love you”s are said for the first time with someone who’s never had sex. he spent a long time without sex before you, so he’s not bothered by waiting now.

with that said, kaoru’s not gonna say i love you first or easily, so reader might actually be the one getting impatient to have sex or think that he’s disinterested or even unnattracted to them. he’s not either of those things, he just wants you to be sure, and he doesn’t want to hurt someone he cares for. and if you believe for one second that it’s because he doesn’t want you, he’s more than ready to show you otherwise. but with kaoru, intimacy doesn’t really go past making out, grinding, and heavy petting until he’s ready to take on the risk of you getting attached.

I have never written for Present Mic, and I don't want to botch his character at the moment, but I will definitely consider writing him in the future. I actually like the idea of Aizawa being polyamorous with the reader and Hizashi. Maybe I'll try to think up something fun with the three of them in the future. These are just headcanons, but I could make a bigender reader in a one-shot in the future.

My gender identity is similar to bigender, but because of personal reasons, I usually have to mask as a cis-gender girl. I hope I wrote these headcanons with proper consideration.

I personally see Aizawa as someone who's bisexual but doesn't give himself a label. For you being bigender, he isn't bothered at all.

When he sees you express as more masculine than feminine, or vice versa, he doesn't really pay much mind to it. He thinks you are incredible no matter what you wear or the gender roles you assume.

Explaining your gender identity can be scary, and Aizawa is a very direct person about his opinions about things. When he assured you that he takes your gender identity seriously, it was a weight off your shoulder.

He will actively ask how he can make sure that you are comfortable. He's not ignorant.

That applies to your physical presentation but also to your personality. So he doesn't care at all if you're being "girly" or "one of the guys," that's not how he is. He appreciates you as you are.

He is supportive, and if he's going to meet people with you, his eraserhead mindset makes him protective of you and he is always paying attention to how others treat you.

Corrects pronouns like no one's business

He will stick up for you if anyone misgenders you, make no mistake of that

And if someone tries to invalidate you, his stare is enough to get them to start walking

Some people who are bigender mask in public or in general, and if you did, he'd understand that. He'd respect your wishes, and when you two are in a more domestic location, he'll address you as what you want him to call you, and lets you be yourself without having to worry that he doesn't see you the same way than when you're "being the other gender."

He secretly thinks you're cute as fuck, but will hardly ever admit it (he'll insinuate it, he can get flirty when he's feeling bold).

This guy has no fashion sense most of the time, but he thinks your style flatters you, and it's easy for you to seduce him sometimes. When you both get home and he's feeling it, he'll start to lecture you, but he isn't disappointed in you in the slightest.

"Do you have any idea how handsome/pretty you've been today?" in a teasing tone.

You'll feign ignorance (tho it turns you on so bad).

It gets spicy from then on out. Shouta's sex drive isn't high, but when he knows he has time to kill, he'll rizz you up so bad

Aizawa is big, and so anal sex can cause anxiety, but he's patient and makes sure you're as comfortable as you can be. He'd never pressure you.

Sex can be complicated as someone who isn't on the binary, but Aizawa is here to listen and learn. He's sexually aroused by people no matter their anatomy, so he's open to whatever you're comfortable with. Sex isn't simply penis and vagina, and he knows that.

If you have a penis and aren't comfortable bottoming on a physical level, he's ok with being the recipient. He's a dom-leaning switch, in my opinion. But if you want him inside of you, he is obliging.

The same goes for vaginal sex. He wants to meet your needs because he loves you and wants you to enjoy having sex with him.

He'll make sure to address you properly and ask what you call your genitals and other body parts. Pronouns and pet names are also on his priority when making sure you're comfortable. He'd never want to make you dysphoric

He's proud of you. For everything. Having the courage to be yourself in a world that has a limited view about gender takes guts, and he reminds you of that when you're feeling dysphoric. He'll do everything in his power to support you

He'll notice when you start showing changes and will probably avoid drawing attention to it unless he knows you want to hear him compliment your progress. He thinks you're wonderful with every passing day.

Your gender is a part of who you are, and he is proud of his bigender partner. You're his, no matter what anyone thinks. No matter if you doubt yourself, he sees someone who's strong and resilient and he loves you with all his heart.

I can't believe I actually didn't realize that. I mean, I did it. Like 7 years ago, but I had no clue on how to explain it.

Besides it needs from Mystic Messenger Timeline *which I'm still working on, and trying to finish* to actually make sense.

Disclaimer: Please take into account that whatever I say here, it's only my opinion after playing the game so many years. I'm not a psychiatrist or a psychologist, or therapist of any kind. I'm just a writer, who loves to spend time analysing characters and stories.

I did asked to my mom to help me with this and the other characters because of how difficult the task ahead of me was. My mom, who is an actual therapist, did her best to help me, but I did most of the analysis here, since I'm the one who knows the in's and outs of this game. Besides, I did my research and I'll make sure to quote it! So give it a chance and keep reading even if you disagree with me. And then, I'd love to read your thoughts on the topic 💕

Should I talk to you about the dark side of the flowers and tie it to MM characters?? Anyways, Rika is a narcissistic. But also has a profound trauma. One doesn't exclude the other. Here's a quote from Mayo Clinic:

There are other two, that are genetic, and neurobiology causes, but I'll be focusing more on the environment, which let's be honest, it's what is displayed on the game. So let's go back to Rika and please read the next three images while remembering how's her relationship with V, and Saeran. Sometimes even with MC, and Mika.

Here's the part that keeps bothering me because I realized about it before I could actually explain what it was going on. Seven years ago I decided to play the game, and I finished feeling a bit too weird on how everyone was so infatuated with Rika... it wasn't any other person that just dies and then the group dies too. It was still active two years after losing her (?) Even though they have only know each other for... 4 to 6 years?

Some even less. Like Jaehee. Which randomly brings me to: She's an ENFJ so she does focus on details like Jaehee (Jaehee might be ISFJ, ISTJ or even ESFJ considering how well she manages around people too. But that's another story.) Her enneagram is probably 1.

I can understand Yoosung, but... you know what I mean. It was weird. And once I reached the first VN novel about V and Rika I felt even more weirded out by these two.

I don't think I can pinpoint it but I felt like Rika was manipulating V so I was surprised when I realized some members were tying these two as lovers and a beautiful couple. Do you guys remember V being surprised by Rika quoting "The Sun is the mother of all"?? Yeah... Even back then, for me it was a highlight of how messed up their relationship was. But again, I couldn't exactly pinpoint it. Until, now.

After Cheritz released Another Story, and Rika DLC, many of my theories came true. But still in a disorganized way. Which is why I created The Mystic Messenger Timeline.

I did confirmed one thing:

Rika is a narcissist and V is a people pleaser (that doesn't make him any less villainous of what he is, but I'll explain once we'll reach his profile. I promise.) at least at the very beginning of this story.

She probably has psychopatic tendencies

She definitely has sadistic and abusive tendencies: I have a hard time putting through her whole behavior during Saeran's Route and especially during his AE. But she takes pleasure in hurting others. V, Saeran, MC, Mint Eye associates, etc.

A bit of One on the Enneagram:

It is called The Reformer.

Because Ones have a “sense of mission” that leads them to want to improve the world in various ways, using whatever degree of influence they have. They strive to overcome adversity—particularly moral adversity—so that the human spirit can shine through and make a difference. If you think I'm too far off, then please check the levels of healthy and unhealthy Ones can have. They sure ring a bit too much for me on Rika's behavior. From Level 1 to 9, we can see her evolution during the game. But here you have a couple of her worse traits.

Level 7: Can be highly dogmatic, self-righteous, intolerant, and inflexible. Begin dealing in absolutes: they alone know "The Truth." Everyone else is wrong: very severe in judgments, while rationalizing own actions.

Level 8: Become obsessive about imperfection and the wrongdoing of others, although they may fall into contradictory actions, hypocritically doing the opposite of what they preach.

Level 9: Become condemnatory toward others, punitive and cruel to rid themselves of wrongdoers. Severe depressions, nervous breakdowns, and suicide attempts are likely. Generally corresponds to the Obsessive-Compulsive and Depressive personality disorders

So, why do you (player) like Rika as character?

Because it's okay, I know people who actually like Rika. I don't, but I definitely don't hate her either...

You don't need to be worried about it as long as you know what she did was wrong. That's it. Now, why do you like her/identify with her?

Things that might, or not, ring a bell:

* Trauma: Rika has a traumatic past. And you might feel like it's a mirror of your past. Hence identifying with it might not be something difficult. Of course this doesn't mean you are leader of some religious cult.

* Her willingness to fight despite having everything at odds. Let's not forget that before she goes nuts and starts brainwashing people, she did a lot of great deeds. Tried to stay positive and all that.

* Her kindness (we can discuss over certain things, but as much as she did terrible things, she also did amazing things, like creating the RFA to help people. Wether she did it with a certain master plan in mind or not, she did helped as much as she hurt and that's the important part.)

* She's just a great villain! It might be hard to understand for some people but you actually just look at her character as what it is, a character, and you're impressed by how many discussions and hot debates she brings onto the table. Understandable!

* Her flower means forgiveness♡

Woot! I’m gonna do SGA, bc it’s my main fandom, and SGU, bc I know it’s more your favorite.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

My favorite SGA character is Todd, and I’m not sure I can think of a specific something that I think everyone gets wrong about him. I encourage people to have more, wilder takes on Todd. Maybe always pairing him up with John is something I don't like? Lmao, it’s the pot calling the kettle black, but I do wish that there were more fics that explored him in other relationships. They do have good chemistry, so I get it, but I guess I'm just a rare-pair shipper at heart and now that John/Todd is getting more popular I want rarer stuff. 😅

My favorite SGU character is Greer. I do not remember ever reading anything that I felt got him wrong, so... Please have wrong takes about Greer, world. Reading bad takes annoys me and makes me want to write my own fics. 😂

🖤: Which character is not as morally good as everyone else seems to think?

This is so interesting, because SGA is the war-crimes apologist fandom, so I don’t think everyone thinks anyone is particularly morally good.  I’m gonna say Heightmeyer. I can never forgive her specifically for the way she lied to Michael, betraying her profession and his trust, and I was unmoved by her death. I feel like she has a few fans so that’s probably an unpopular opinion.

SGU is a morally grey character hot spot so... Maybe Caine? I think we’re supposed to think he’s “good” but I’m not sure if everyone actually does. I'll say also that Riley is really annoying me on my current watch-through of the series. I feel like he'd be that friend who's always like "we should do this because it's the right thing to do" in whatever situation, when actually it's just the most annoying thing to do.

💖: What is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?

I’m not sure about biggest… I feel like this is probably pretty niche, but I’ve seen a couple takes about Kolya being sexually abusive to Todd during his captivity. I don't know if people are taking this as a headcanon or just a fic idea... but while I think it’s an interesting idea, I disagree with it having happened. Mostly just because I don’t see Kolya as being a sexual person, I don't get that energy from him. (Yes, he is certainly a sadist, he gets pleasure from breaking people down, but I don’t think it’s sexual for him.)

For SGU, I once got a repudiating comment on a post because I was ragging on the show for having bad writing, but I don’t necessarily think that’s an unpopular opinion. How about, I wish Amanda was in more episodes and I wish there was more exploration of Amanda and Ginn being in the ship. I think Amanda is a fascinatingly flawed character with a lot of potential that is never realized, because of the aforementioned bad writing issues. Stop focusing on her obsession with Rush and explore her general hedonism! (I'm thinking of the episode of SG1 where Daniel gets addicted to the sarcophagus as a model... give us more of Amanda being obsessed with being able to "feed herself" alien strawberries or whatever, and she makes it a problem for the whole crew because she's stopped caring about fixing the ship.) If I'm not going to complain about needing to rewrite the entire arc that ended them up there, I think the show cuts off the idea of Ginn and Amanda being "spirits in the ship" right when it could have gotten interesting, not that that is unusual for Stargate. We can't have nice things 😭 and I would have liked to explore that more as a plot point, and also had more for Eli and Ginn to do. The whole "together but apart" and "dead but still here" thing is super tragic, and I would have liked to get more of it explored through a lens that wasn't just Amanda's obsession with Rush.

Okay, this is technically a reblog, but since I'm going to (very personally) disagree with a lot of these, I thought it was kind of rude to actually reblog... Everyone is so welcome to their opinion about what they'd like to see coming up!

Things i demand wish to see from MCU Spiderman moving forward:

—Mature and confident Peter who is able to take charge of any situation as an experienced hero

Yes, except no. He's still 17 at the end of NWH. Yes, he's way overpowered and has been through a ton of crap and lost so much, but he's still a kid. An adolescent. An immature human. If he's 25? Sure. I'm all over confident, adult Peter. But if it's right after, and he's like 18/19? Still a kid, and he needs support and mentoring. Even if he's 25, he needs support.

—Spiderman swinging all over NY🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸

Yes, please. New York is his place. I want to see him in New York, but I’d also like to see the citizens of New York step up for him. There was so much heart in Spider-Man 2 when the New Yorkers protected and helped Peter. 

—Fun and complex fight scenes!!!!!!! Peter webbing ppl up during fights, hand to hand combat, using the environment for attacks.

Yeah, this is always great! This is what we’re here for! (Well, that and all the fun relationships the MCU has tried really hard to just delete, but…)

—Step UP the cinematography. Give MCU SM his own distinct visual style like Raimi and Webb did b4

Eh, I don’t have a strong opinion on this. I thought the cinematography in NWH was good. But that’s also not the main thing I’m here for.

—Spiderman helping ppl with small things. Interacting with them and really showing why the ppl of NY love him

—Peter working for JJJ? (PLEASE I NEED IT)

I don’t care about this either, but it could be good. I’m just not excited to see one more person treat Peter Parker like trash after all he’s been through, which is my hesitation. (But I get the appeal)

—Peter actually struggle after the events of NWH (emotionally/financially)

I’m good, thanks! Peter has already struggled a LOT and I only want to see this if there is some resolution/help with those things. I’m not here for Hurt/No Comfort, guys.

—Peter trying to form new relationships after MJ and Ned

Maybe. But I’d like him to rediscover his relationship with them more. New relationships, while interesting, cannot replace people who have known and loved you for years. They just can’t.

—Spiderman trash talking his villains

Of course! One of my favorite things is the fun little mini film on Far From Home when he’s taking down the Manfredi family. Is that who they were? I don't feel like looking it up right now.

I mean, sure? I don’t really care about her, but I believe I could be convinced to care about here, if we get to see her human side, and if she shows she has good reasons for whatever she’s doing. I mean, I even cared about Adrian Toomes. Sure, he was a bit of a psychopath, but he was doing it because he loved his family and wanted to provide for them.

—DO NOT CHANGE THE SUIT!!!!!!!!!!! The one he got at the end of NWH is literally perfect. DO NOT CHANGE IT!!!

Buzzer sound. Nope. The thought of him swinging around in that (admittedly cool, very proud of his ingenuity) spandex suit, with even less protection than his original get-up gives me chills, and I want some kind of tech suit back pronto.

—More grounded stories. I love a good cosmic/multiverse story but SM is better when he's on the ground dealing relatively normal shit, petty crime, gangs, evil scientists etc

YES. I want to see the Avengers in “our” world. The space stuff just never hits the same. Or the inner space stuff. (Looking at you, Quantumania. While I enjoyed-ish the movie, my favorite part was at the beginning where Scott was just walking around being kind of normal…) And Spider-man belongs in New York.

—Daredevil team up (spiderman 4?👀)

Yeah, I’d watch that.

I’m just not a fan! Especially if it would drive the content-meter up to R-ratings and whatnot.

—An entire movie dedicated to the Venom storyline

Mmm. See, I think this wouldn’t hit the same. The MCU has deleted all the people from Peter’s life who would even care if this happened to him, so it’s not going to have as much impact. They’d have to fix that before I’d care.

What I'd like to see? Really?

There are all sorts of stories that would be interesting, but I don't want a brand new "reset" Spider-man. I want to see him dealing with what happened in NWH, but finding ways to make it better, build a new team, get the support he needs and deserves while they fight against some bigger issue. Kingpin would be just fine.

I'd love to see Peter joining up with Kate, Yelena, Cassie, and Kamala. I'd love to see Bucky and Sam, or Clint (and Clint's kids!!!) becoming part of his life and helping continue to mentor him. Captain Marvel, Rhodey, ANYONE. Help this hero out while he finds his footing again after so much loss and trauma.

Happy and Pepper. Morgan. Anyone, seriously. And I'd love to see Peter get some counseling that is actually helpful.

You know, all the basic stuff that a 40-year-old mom wants to see happen to the souped up teenager who's lost everyone.

Reader "forcing" Joel to go an autumn walk with them because they noticed Joel has been isolating himself lately and hasn’t floated their chat with messages like he usually does. So, one day reader shows up at Joels' flat and drags him along for a walk to distract him. Maybe they come across a flower shop and reader buys Joel some flowers to lift his mood or they walk through the park hand in hand admiring the colourful trees. And when reader is about to leave, Joel shyly asks them to stay at his place for the night cause he doesn’t want to be alone (and because he obviously is madly crushing on reader).

(Yeah, I know we still have like 25 degree outside but I’m ready for autumn 🍂 ✨)

Joel opens the front door on the second series of knocks. His hair is all messy and he’s wearing an old t-shirt, whose light color does nothing to conceal the wrinkles all over it. The skin around his eyes is dark and his very eyes are puffy, like it’s the first time he sees any type of light in ages. 

“Get ready, we’re going on a walk,” you say, entering the door without further preamble. Knowing your way around the house, you walk into the living room. You draw the curtains and open the windows, letting the fresh early autumn air caress your skin and come in the room so it no longer smells stale. “I’m gonna let the house aerate while you shower. I’ll be waiting right here.” 

Joel still hasn’t said a word. This isn’t the first time something like this happens; the man is sensitive and sometimes his demons get the best of him. Especially when autumn starts, with his birthday coming a bit too quickly for his liking and the sun shortening its stay in Joel’s personal little world the way it does in the physical one. It’s nothing new. All Joel needs is a little push from the outside and usually his mood settles to a background melancholy, which is still sad, but it’s still better than whatever is going on now. 

Joel nods. He knows fighting it won’t help; it isn’t the first time for him either, after all.

The weather is crispy, a little too much so for a simple leather jacket, but Joel doesn’t seem of the same opinion. His hair is in a bun so it doesn’t get in his face when the wind blows. His expression is hard and dark as he extracts a cigarette and a lighter from the pocket of his jeans, bringing the cigarette to his lips. You wait until it’s lit. He’s looking straight ahead as he takes a drag, avoiding your gaze, but still he grabs your hand to hold. That’s how he finds the strength necessary to finally start your walk. 

There’s a small park just outside his apartment building, with trees all around it, a couple of benches and a statue surrounded in flowers in the center. Its grass is incredibly green in the summer, the flowers mostly purple, the trees robust and thriving; now the little park is starting to lose its brightness and the leaves on the trees are turning brown, yellow and red. Some of them are on the ground, some even on the sidewalk you and Joel are strolling along, brought there by the gentle breeze. It fills your heart with joy. 

“It’s so gloomy,” Joel sounds raspy, probably because he hasn’t used his voice in a while, or maybe because of the smoke. You squeeze his hand. 

“Fall is not that bad. Cozy evenings spent under a blanket watching tv shows and drinking hot chocolate, warm baths, candles, saunas, warm meals, Halloween… don’t tell me it doesn’t excite you.” 

Joel takes a long drag of his cigarette. “Thank god I’ll be in the USA through October.” 

You give him a sympathetic smile. Your goal is to have the corners of his mouth tug upwards at least once by the end of afternoon: Joel can make it as hard as he wants, but you won’t lose your spirit. 

“Look, a flower shop! Wanna check it out?” 

Joel frowns, looking at you like you’re insane; but when the excitement on your face doesn’t falter, he just rolls his eyes and finishes his smoke, putting it out and throwing the butt into the nearest bin. He follows you inside. 

The strong perfume inside the shop makes all your muscles relax instantly. The florist greets you with a polite smile and you walk over to her, asking for three dahlias in three different colors. You specifically ask for one of them to be red.  

“Do you remember when we first met?” you ask Joel, “It was at Olli’s birthday party a few years back. There was a red dahlia in a vase at the center of the table. Olli can be pretty sophisticated when he wants to be.” 

The florist gives you your bouquet and you pay for it, grabbing Joel’s hand back on your way out of the shop. 

“For you,” you say, handing Joel the flowers. And maybe it’s the cool air, but Joel’s cheeks turn pink as he looks away. 

“C’mon, don’t be silly.” 

“I’m not being silly. These are for you.” 

Here it is, finally, the little smile you’ve longed to catch a glimpse of all day. Joel takes the flowers and smells them with his eyes closed, looking like he’s getting lost in it for a second. It makes you feel all fuzzy in the chest. 

“Where are we going next?” 

“Pumpkin spice latte is back at Starbucks. Just fyi.” 

“You know I don’t like spice.” 

“But I do. Let’s go.” 

Joel doesn’t fight it this time, so you effortlessly drag him over to the nearest Starbucks shop, with no rolling of his eyes nor cigarette breaks. He orders a drink that’s way too sweet for your liking. His eyes end up in the back of his head as soon as he takes a sip. 

“Fuck, I needed some sugar.” 

He chooses to sit at a table with three chairs, so he can rest the flowers on one of them. He’s unnecessarily gentle with them but you figure he’s been feeling unworthy of kind gestures these past few days, so those flowers must mean a lot to him. You smile to yourself. That’s what friends are for, right? 

“You haven’t eaten much these days, have you?” 

With his lips still closed around the straw, Joel shrugs, avoiding your gaze. You don’t want to bring him down again, so you change the subject, and soon you fall into an easy conversation, even managing to elicit a fit of laughter or two out of him. 

When your drinks are finished and it’s silent, Joel’s gaze lands on the flowers on the chair again. He reaches his hand to touch the petals. 

“They’ll need to be put in water soon,” you say. Joel nods and with that, you head home. 

You can’t help but notice his skin is no longer grayish and his face muscles are way more relaxed than they were earlier. His mood seems to be less grave, but you know perfectly he isn’t safe from seasonal depression yet. Still, you’re grateful you could do something for him, all things considered. 

You continue your chit chat as you walk, but the closer to his apartment you get, the quieter Joel becomes, as if he isn’t looking forward to being back at all. You hug him tightly when it’s time to part, but not as tightly as him: his arms could crush you and you can only barely breathe, but a light, pleasant feeling spreads across your chest nonetheless, making you wish you never had to let go. 

“Thank you. For everything,” Joel says softly. 

You pull away with a kind smile. “Anytime.” 

This was supposed to be Joel’s cue to go inside and close the door, but he simply stands there in the doorway, worrying at his bottom lip. There’s something he has to say and he’s struggling to find the words, so you don’t leave either, waiting for him to speak his mind. 

“You… there’s no way you can spend the night here tonight, is there?” he scratches the back of his head, looking elsewhere. “I don’t… I don’t really feel like being alone but I don’t wanna, like, interfere with your plans or anything. Also if you don’t want to -” 

“It’s fine, Joel,” you cut him off, smiling, loving how his cheeks turn red once again when his eyes find yours. “I’ll stay. But on one condition: we’re doing sweater weather stuff.” 

Joel grins and it’s both amused and thankful. “Alright. I’ll get the candles and the blankets, but we’re gonna have to use your Netflix account.” 

He moves from the doorway, letting you in. “Sounds like a plan.”
