kissin him stupid
w/ the housewardens
in which you were recently gifted a tube of lipstick from grim, you're unsure of where he got it or why he decided it's yours now but it's given you a fantastic idea.
(he probably stole it from vil somehow and wants to place the blame on you..)
note; malleus' is the shortest but the most full of love i swear to goooood but the post itself is quite long
part two!

if riddle could form a proper sentence right now, he might scold you for slacking off, or breaking rule six hundred and seventeen, or he may just ask you to do it again. if colours could speak, his face would scream in comparison to the red accents in the housewarden’s room, uniform and matching hair.
you attempt to keep a sober expression but he seriously cannot be so flustered by a single kiss? the red lip stain on his cheek is bright against the flush of his cheeks, as he sputters vowels and consonants, attempting to speak, to protest, to ask you what in the queen’s name are you doing.
you invited riddle over to the ramshackle dorm under the guise of needing help with studying, but you had this motive the entire time. riddle could feel your rebel to his help and directions if he ignored the obvious fact you hadn’t even cracked the spine of your book yet (to be fair it was only assigned today, and it was a new book), and the devious smile you attempted to hide until now.
riddle took a breath, finally feeling sensible enough, “what… was that.”
“affection, riddle. this isn’t new.” you shot, tone dripping in sarcasm.
“yes, my rose, i know that. i mean,” he grabs hold of your uniform tie, drawing you closer, “what’s with the lipstick?” your head probably could have exploded, where did this riddle come from and how can he be drawn out more often?
you press a swift kiss to riddle’s other cheek, thanks to the proximity. “i have no explanation,” you press another kiss onto his forehead, “i simply was gifted it,” a kiss to his temple, “this morning.” the grip riddle has on your tie loosens completely as it falls back onto your chest, slightly wrinkled from the force.
“i just had this ironed!” you frown.
“i-i’ll get it done again.” riddle stands, brushing invisible dust off his jacket, though nothing could distract from the shade of pink that covers his face.
“you’ll iron my tie for me? how kind.” you wrap an arm around riddle’s waist, pulling him close. he drops his forehead against your chest with a thud, inaudibly mumbling to himself.
you wrap your other arm around him as he takes your face between his hands, slightly squishing into your cheeks he drags your face to his height, kissing you feverishly.
“where did this riddle come from? i like him.”
“i just felt… bold i suppose.” riddle’s red tinted lips smile against yours.
“do it again!”

leona stirs underneath you. you’re sat, straddling either side of his hips, weight pressed on his defined torso. leona doesn’t know it but you’ve practically trapped him where he sleeps. where he’s asleep currently, that is. in your dorm.
on your couch.
using your pillows, taking in the setting sun like a true feline, though you would never dare utter the word feline anywhere near him lest you face the wrath of a moody boyfriend.
you silently laugh to yourself, leaning down and pressing your lips on the prince’s temple.
leona stirs again at that, attempting to roll over – he cracks an eye when you gasp. slowly, coming to his senses, he furrows his brows at your positioning. you weren’t there when he fell asleep, when did you do that, and why are you sitting on him with half of a sinister smile across your lips…
and when did your lips turn red? he brings a hand up to rub his face, trying to shake the sleep out of his fogged mind, but you catch his hand before it makes contant.
“don’t, it’ll mess up all my hard work,” you say with a half hint of embarrassment. (just a hint; only because you were caught before you could slip away undiscovered.)
leona’s confusion increases, as he detaches your hand from his wrist. he takes his freed hand up to your lips and swipes his thumb across your bottom lip, smudging it further across the line of your lip.
he inspects his red finger, “is this… lipstick?” you purse your lips in an attempt to stifle the laugh that bubbles in your chest. he looks ridiculous; eyes half lidded, nose crunched in focus and red marks painting his face.
your tinted lips curl upwards slightly into a smug grin, “maybe?” if leona knows one thing, it’s smug grins. he matches yours and wipes his thumb on your cheek, smearing the lipstick off his thumb and onto your skin.
you playfully swat his hand away and lean down to continue painting your masterpiece, placing another kiss on his skin – onto the spot between his eyebrows. leona’s hand find your hip, giving a teasing pinch to the side.
leona may be a prince used to some pampering, but this is some treatment he could get used to.

azul has a finger in every pie, as riddle likes to say. you’re very much aware of that as your boyfriend likes to talk your ear off about his investments, new opportunities and the lounge. you’re so very proud of all of his hard work but sometimes he gets off on a tangent that doesn’t stop until you make him. usually with a kiss. it flusters him just enough that he forgets what he was going on about and it works every time.
this time, however, was a bit different. azul didn’t take notice of the hue change of your lips as you leaned in and shut him up. drawing back, you snicker at his pursed lips and flushed cheeks, and the red lipstick smeared around his lips.
azul peeked in your direction, curious. you usually find it funny when he’s flustered like this but you were laughing a little too much. he noticed the messy red lipstick and furrowed his brows, wiping a finger across his lips.
you suppressed a smile as you watched him curiously examine his stained finger, “it’s lipstick.” he concludes.
“well… obviously? i thought that would have been pretty clear,” you grab his hand, wiping the red off of his finger.
before azul can retort you lean in to kiss him again; anywhere you can get your lips on before he shells himself away, utterly embarrassed. a kiss to his cheek, jaw, forehead, nose, other cheek, forehead again, has him sputtering, almost begging to be released.
azul places his free hand on your shoulder, trying to push you away while laughing between breaths. when you do back up, leaning back on your hand, he almost looks sad. (as if he wasn’t actively trying to get you off!)
“so, mister ashengrotto? feeling loved and appreciated yet?” you give him a toothy grin, watching as his face contorts from flustered to even-more-flustered. (if that’s possible.)
“well yes! i dare say i’m feeling very valued and cherished as well.” despite his rosy features, his voice is unwavering, full of conviction.
his confident, put-together outer layer completely melts away when you’re alone with him, but this has him absolutely on fire, a feeling no number could replace. numbers can’t give affection, you give it tenfold in their stead.

kalim’s permanent grin widens when you claim you’ve got a gift for him. he expectantly holds out his hands, making you shake your head.
“it’s more of an eyes closed kind of gift,” you start, kalim instantly squeezes his eyes shut. he puts so much trust in you that you worry jamil has eyes everywhere. everywhere. but you brush the jesting idea away, believing that you wouldn’t even be allowed on scarabia grounds if jamil didn’t trust you with the housewarden.
you turn to a nearby mirror, passing the tube of red lipstick over your lips. the smooth makeup applies nice and neatly. (doesn’t matter because you know it won’t be neat for long.)
you step back over to where kalim’s sitting on the edge of his bed, standing between his knees. he’s waiting not-so patiently, he looks like he’s almost vibrating, is he really that excited? you suppress a smile as you gently grab onto his jaw, tilting his head to the side as you press your lips to his cheek. his laughter immediately fills the room, making you press more kisses over his face. one to his forehead, one on the nose, another on the other cheek, his temples, and anywhere you can get before he’s laughing too much, pushing you away.
“it tickles,” he heaves a breath, “stop!” a wider smile grows on his face after seeing yours, the red lipstick you applied had smudged around your lips, looking not-so neat. his face isn’t much better, tan skin littered in red kisses.
while you’re mentally retaining the image of kalim covered in red lip marks, you notice him looking more intently at you. you raise a brow, curiously.
“my turn, give it here!” he reaches a hand out, expecting the tube of lipstick?
you look at him bewildered, “what?”
“my turn!” he repeats. he seems real set on returning the ‘gift’ it seems. kalim’s all smiles as you hand him the black tube. he exposes the stick and passes it over his own lips, tossing it aside and pulling you down to his seated height. he flattens his lips across the expanse of your face, getting at any skin he can just like you did to him.
when he deems he’s finished, you’re dazed and equally covered in red lipstick stains, smiles wide across your faces. matching stained faces for matching blitheringly infatuated idiots.

vil leans on the back of his vanity chair; his face littered in different coloured lip marks. the reason? he claims he wants to see which ones compliment him the most.
you know he already knows exactly which shades of each brand line do exactly that. (thanks, rook.) vil doesn’t know that you know he’s already figured this out.
you wipe the makeup remover-soaked cotton pad across your lips, ridding it of the pink. “what would all of your fans think if they knew you were being covered completely in rainbow kisses?” you wipe the moisture from your lips as vil reaches around you to grab another tube, but you stop him.
“i’m sure they would lose their minds,” you reach into your pocket, revealing a miscellaneous tube of lipstick, it matches none of the previously discarded lipsticks, nor does it have a brand logo on it. “where did you find this?” vil takes the lipstick in his hand, nimbly examining the exterior. he removes the top to reveal a rich, velvety red colour. his eyes widen just slightly.
“it’s a secret,” you wink and take the lipstick from him and apply it, smiling as you replace its cap and let it fall from your hand, onto a messy vanity behind you.
vil wraps an arm around your neck, drawing you closer to his seated level, “well, share your secret with me, if you would be so kind.” you swiftly close the gap between yourself and the housewarden, administering a healthy dose of red onto his lips and the surrounding skin.
he parts first, his cheeks dawn a hint of pink that’s hidden behind the various stains on his otherwise perfect skin. he truly is the most beautiful person ever. makeup or not, hair tied back or loose, vil is sincerely as pretty as the morning's first light, a flower; freshly bloomed, and a fresh set of nails.
“you’re staring. not that i mind,” you snap out of your hazy daydream about your gorgeous boyfriend and back into reality.
“yeah, sorry. you’re just really fucking pretty.” you lean down and tenderly kiss his forehead as he internally squeals like one of his fan-girls. he really hit the jackpot with you as his (second) biggest fan.

idia looks up at you with wide yellow eyes, but they have a sort of gloss over them that makes you believe he would not want you to get up and leave his dorm right now. you grin at his feeble attempt of a silent, inconclusive plea. an ask to what, you’re unsure because his face (minus the eyes) and hands grabbing at you tell you he’s very much enjoying you straddling his hips right now.
you reach into your pocket, revealing your master plan. a tube of lipstick, you swipe it over your lips once, then twice before replacing the cap and tossing it down, letting it hit the plush bedsheet you’re atop.
the translucent tips of his hair start to turn pink as you lean down towards his face. a trembling hand comes up to your shoulder, not pushing you away but seemingly grounding the housewarden underneath you. “how cute,” you smile against his lips, pressing a chaste kiss to the corner of his mouth, then another to his left cheek, then the right. one more on his forehead for good measure. maybe one more. okay, one last one couldn’t hurt.
you sit upright and drag a hand down idia’s chest, over the sweater you know is probably two sizes to large for him, (but that’s how he likes them you suppose and it just makes for a more comfortable sweater when you steal ‘em) while admiring the definitely not smudge-proof lipstick marks on idia’s face, giggling as you compare the red smears to his blue features. you wonder if-
the rapid rise and fall of idia’s chest catches your attention, it almost sounds like he’s hyperventilating, but when you look up to his face it’s surrounded by fiery pink hair and a flush across his cheeks, spanning down his neck, you realize he’s fine. probably a little more than fine.
“well, that’s some false advertising,” you smile, wiping at the edges of your lips lightly with a finger. idia snaps out of his stupor, hastily agreeing with a stuttered breath. his hands find your hips, giving you a small squeeze. you lean down and press a proper kiss to his lips, you lift away just as quick as you bent down, pushing idia back down as he chases you up, hoping for more. a pitiful whine escapes him as his hair burns brighter.
the red lipstick mixes with his natural blue lips gives him a sort of purple that would put the octavinelle’s house colour to shame. though, he almost looks forlorn. the usual solemn and gloomy housewarden; reduced to a blushing mess after a few kisses.
hilarious, isn’t it?

malleus’s eyes flutter shut, a pleased sigh escapes his lips. his hands, hidden by your sweater, trace messy patterns on your back as his nails scratch lightly. he’s unsure of how he got himself into this humanoid predicament but he’s not complaining.
you’re sat in his lap, placing kisses all over his face, leaving red lip marks behind.
“you look like you’re enjoying this more than i am, malleus.” you bring a hand up to rake it through his bangs, pushing them behind his horns and revealing the shiny scales hidden beneath.
the housewarden cracks a sharp emerald eye, examining your features. the slope of your nose, the curve of your stained lips, your eyelashes, cheeks. your eyes. oh how he loves your eyes, the way they look up to him with adoration, not fear or indifference like other humans do.
you cup his cheek, “malleus?”
he blinks once, twice. the gloss over his eyes breaks, refocusing on you. “i apologize, i was lost in thought.”
“i could tell,” you trace your finger to the tip of his ear, then drop your hand back into your lap. “what were you thinking of? me?”
“yes.”
“woah, okay. blunt!” heat rises to your face.
a hand leaves your back, trailing around your side and up to tuck a piece of hair away from your eyes. “was i not suppose to tell the truth?”
“no, malleus, you should have said you were thinking of pancakes.”
“but i wasn’t? i was thinking of-” you cut him off, placing a kiss on his lips.
“now, let me resume my art.”
malleus is more than happy to sit as still as the gargoyle statues he studies while you press kisses all over his face. he is, truly is.
this was so self indulgent i ain’t even sorry (is my favouritism showing??)

holy shit, the glow-up vibes are potent as fuck in this pile! people are going to be in absolute awe of you, pile one. your energy, your body, your face card, and your personality are going to have people bowing the fuck down to you. i'm not feeling any sense of arrogance or conceitedness either – you're just truly about to step into your most powerful and authentic self. this was always destined, pile one. this innate magnetism was always inside of you, but you just never truly knew how to wield it entirely. it's like you were dipping your toes in and out of the water, not sure if you should fully submerge yourself in it and become who you've always known you were, or stay digestible and dim your light so others around you could shine. no more of that. this is, and will continue to be, all about you, pile one. you are shedding the people-pleasing tendencies that have held you back for so long.
you are reclaiming your power. you have such a kind heart with a fierce spirit, and you've been suppressing that fierce side of you in fear of what others may think of you or say about you. too many times, you've had your back kicked in at the expense of sparing another person's feelings, and your spirit guides are getting restless from the sidelines watching you repeat these same situations time and time again. they're giving you the green light to boss the fuck up and show these people what you're made of. they're telling me that this is a rebirth for you.
i see you experimenting with your wardrobe and appearance: more sexy, more bold, and more alluring. dark eyeliner, sheer stockings, red tops, lace, denim, corsets, etc. showing more of yourself but still keeping it classy. i'm being drawn to alexa demie, 2000s meagan good/megan fox, and gabriette. very siren-like and hard to miss. this is going to be completely new to you, but it's going to feel sooo good and rewarding. a lot of what you used to say yes to is going to turn into straight no's.
you're going to notice a shift in the people, opportunities, and love offers you attract as well – more fruitful and abundant. they align more with the lifestyle you've always wanted for yourself now that you're rejecting the projections and expectations that no longer serve who you are at the core. you will not be settling for less, pile one, that's for sure! i'm hearing that it's basically giving your pinterest boards come to life lol. i love that for you. things that you've been specifically journaling about and manifesting for yourself are going to come to you with no effort – it's almost going to be alarming. it's like you've been waiting, waiting, waiting, thinking someone was going to come along and shift your reality for you, when really you were the key all along.
i'm seeing a lot of yellow and orange, so your solar plexus and sacral chakra are going to be so fucking activated. you're going to be very selective and protective of your energy, as you should. you'll just be like, wow, what took me so long to lean more into this side of myself? it was necessary, though, because it opened your eyes to the world we live in and how you have to operate and not short-change yourself in spite of what others want or expect from you. some people might not like this transformation of yours, but that's simply not your problem, and those people are not on your same frequency. you already spark a lot of jealousy, but this energy shift right here?! whew. hoes mad, pile one! i'm like seeing tiktok edits in my head of the hot villainous characters like katherine pierce and jennifer check lmao. you're winning, and they're not, my loves!
OTHER CHANNELED MESSAGES:
ashwini, ballin' by partynextdoor, unhealthy codependency, anuradha, tall in height, 1st house, neptune energy, neptune-asc, blick sum by latto ft. playboi carti, manifest it, shatabisha, fashion/modeling industry. scorpio, aries, aquarius.

things have been seeming very redundant lately, pile two. you've been craving change for a while now. i'm picking up that you're really at your wits' end in regards to the job you're currently working at and/or all the responsibilities you have on your shoulders. you've been pushing yourself so hard, but you're starting to wonder if any of it was worth it because you're not seeing the payoff just yet. you might be feeling overlooked or undervalued at the moment, but i definitely see things changing for you.
i see a new job/financial opportunity making its way to you, and it aligns more with what you love to do. it's an offer definitely worth taking, pile two! this is the beginning of something that's going to catapult you to the next level. i see this one opportunity leading to an elevation of your life. it's a chance of a lifetime. you're closing out this current cycle of stagnancy and getting the ball rolling on your desires and the lifestyle you've always wanted for yourself. this isn't on a small scale either, this is huge. it's damn near like whiplash – so sudden and unexpected but very well deserved.
i see you gaining more friends and networking with people that advance you and pour into you as much as you pour into others. this is oddly specific, but i feel like some of you have some very mean-spirited co-workers around you. do not tell these people your plans or anything personal, because they really don't like you (projection because they really don't like themselves lol), and they're secretly sending you the evil eye. if you don't have an idea of who specifically this could be, just know they definitely smile in your face and pose as someone who likes you but say things behind your back that prove otherwise. they're not stopping shit though, so your spirit guides want me to tell you that you have nothing to worry about.
for my singles, i was also picking up on a new romantic suitor having their eyes on you. this person could have a charming and bit of a cocky vibe going for them – they usually like to be chased rather than do the chasing, but something about you is intriguing to them. for some of you that have just gotten out of a relationship, i see you have a couple of options to choose from. there's this energy of being amused and entertained. a lot of people are going to find you to be very irresistible, and the way you carry yourself so gracefully will have many heads turning.
for those of you that are in a committed relationship, i see you two becoming even closer and more vulnerable with each other. any walls you've built around yourself in fear of disappointment or regret will finally be dropped as you learn to trust not only yourself but your partner fully as well. one more thing i will say is that you should make sure you're budgeting your finances properly and remember to take care of any debts you may owe, okay? 444 on the clock. everything is working out in your favor you shall soon see.
OTHER CHANNELED MESSAGES:
6th house, krittika, dark skin, when one door closes another one opens, revati, transformation, jyestha sprung, ideal partner/dream person, taurus, pisces, scorpio moon, nasty by tinashe, fever by dua lipa & angèle.

you've really been keeping to yourself huh, pile three? you could be clashing a lot with your parents/family or just feeling misunderstood by the people closest to you. i feel like things have been a bit chaotic and unstable in your life, especially in regards to your home environment. one minute things are good, but when things get bad, they get pretty fucking bad. ugh, pile three.
i feel like you're very sensitive to your environment, and whatever is going on around you, you absorb it like a sponge. there's inner child wounds that you're working on, and it's really not easy, but your spirit guides want you to know that they're so fucking proud of you. you're doing the work that others weren't brave enough to do in order to heal yourself and your bloodline. some of you might have a very dysfunctional family, and it weighs heavy on you; most times you have to tiptoe around your emotions in order to keep the peace.
i'm also picking up that some of you might have older sibling syndrome – there's immense pressure and expectations put on you since you were a child. whatever the case may be, i feel like you actively doing the work is going to unlock a part of yourself you never really knew was inside. i can feel the passion, the dedication, and the motivation buzzing off you, pile three. 2025 is gonna be your year. the martian energy is strong in this pile. i feel like you had to learn the lessons and really sit back and observe the dynamics around you to come to the realization that NO, you do not want that for yourself and the ones that come after you. you want something stable, something emotionally fulfilling, something that makes you feel free in so many ways than one. you're a very compassionate and selfless person, and you will find someone who will pour equally into you as you do them.
this person that you're attracting is deeply committed, patient, financially secure, thoughtful, and extremely grounded. you'll never be an afterthought when it comes to this person – they'll support you and guide you (if you need them to) every step of the way. you're so used to figuring things out on your own and having to think for others, but this person wants you to simply relax and just be. i can see you pacing back and forth, venting to them, and just going on and on, listing every single thing you need to get done and do for this one and that one. and i can just see them sitting but rising to their feet and slowly walking over to you with this calm demeanor, putting their hands on your shoulders, and it's like everything melts away. they want me to reassure you that you're not alone – they want to carry the weight and release the burdens off of you because they recognize that no one has truly showed up and out for you the way you do for others. this is very beautiful energy, pile three.
as you step into this new chapter, you’ll realize that some of your past connections were often just bandaids for wounds you hadn’t healed yet. there’s a lot of clarity about your self-worth here. some of you might be working through daddy issues, and this healing is part of why you’re ready for a deeper love now. this is very specific and may not apply to all, but i keep picking up on pregnancy energy, so if you're ready for that, i do see potential for that with this person you're attracting. if not, then just be mindful of that lol. on the flip side, the person could have a kid, but again, this is just some scenarios i'm picking up on for a small fraction of you. i do see you getting long-awaited closure with a specific person or family member. when that happens, it’s going to feel like a massive weight has been lifted. pile three, this is your time to heal, grow, and attract the life and love you deserve. it’s so beautiful.
OTHER CHANNELED MESSAGES:
faking it by calvin harris ft. kehlani & lil yachty, bharani, pussy power, all of the answers are within you so trust yourself, big d energy, a father, purva ashada, having receipts, dhanishta, capricorn, aquarius, pyrmaids by frank ocean, sagittarius, aries, coffee fucking by miguel ft. wale.

mind over matter...hm. that's what i keep hearing, pile four. i feel like you're in your head about something regarding your work-life balance. it's like you deprive yourself of going out and having fun because you worry you'll be overspending or won't have enough time; but i feel like this mentality is causing you to miss out on some really fun moments and memories, especially with your friends.
you're very responsible (almost to a fault, according to your spirit guides lol), and because you're so practical and matter-of-fact, you don't give yourself enough room to be spontaneous and open. for example, if you just got off work and a friend invites you out, you might think about the laundry you could be doing or some work you could be catching up on instead of just saying, "fuck it, yeah, let's go have some fun." gatekeeping yourself isn’t going to get you very far, pile four.
you're meant to be seen, and you're meant to let your inner child run free and have fun. keeping yourself tucked away in your room or isolating yourself is doing more harm than good - your spirit guides really want you to know this. there are potential love interests you don’t even notice because you're not putting yourself out there enough! some of you might have bad social anxiety, and being around new energies might feel overwhelming, but your guides want you to know you can work through this, slowly but surely - you've just got to start somewhere.
your quirkiness could open so many doors for you, and you don’t even realize it yet. there are so many people you're destined to meet and connect with on a soul level because you have such a unique spirit. you have this way of making people feel seen and heard. if you're single, i feel like your next romantic connection will be incredibly healing in so many ways. some of your past lovers or friends might have made you feel misunderstood or undervalued, but that’s going to change. this is just a quick sidebar, but i feel like you’ve got people (unbeknownst to you) talking about you or your personal business. so, be careful who you confide in because not everyone is your friend, especially in a work or school environment. even if they don’t know anything about you, it seems like they’re speculating and gossiping about you with others.
but anyways i feel like this "mind over matter" mentality comes from wanting to control situations and outcomes, and while it’s great to have self-awareness and discernment, it can also be debilitating: if you let it. i feel like you’re about to start challenging yourself to socialize more and just not give a fuck. wherever the day or night takes you, it takes you. it doesn’t always have to be a club or party, but even if it is, you’re still giving yourself the freedom to have fun and live in the moment.
your job will still be there the next day, okay? your laundry too. but memories? they last forever. so please don’t deprive yourself of the good ones, pile four. you are so worthy of them.
OTHER CHANNELED MESSAGES:
hit me hard and soft album by billie eilish, vishaka, want more for yourself, magha, pay attention to the signs, moon energy, this person is manifesting you, pisces moon, purva phalguni, co-workers gossiping about you, leo, scorpio, libra, 11:11.

The night had started out innocent enough—at least, as innocent as things ever got between the three of you.
You were wedged between them on the couch, Yunho on your left, Mingi on your right, warmth seeping from their bodies into yours. A movie was playing, but none of you were watching. Not with the way their hands had started to wander.
Yunho’s fingers were tracing slow, absentminded circles on your thigh, just barely under the hem of your shorts. Mingi was less subtle, his palm resting on your hip, fingers occasionally squeezing as if reminding you of his presence. You could feel the tension crackling in the air, thick with anticipation. It was always like this with them—slow, drawn-out teasing before one of you finally snapped.
But tonight? Tonight, you were feeling bold.
You shifted, letting your hand drift casually onto Yunho’s lap. His thigh tensed beneath your palm, and you smirked to yourself. Without hesitation, you let your other hand move to Mingi, your fingers pressing lightly against his inner thigh. The way he stiffened under your touch made a spark of satisfaction flicker through you.
"Mm," you hummed, nails lightly scraping over Yunho’s clothed thigh before giving Mingi the same treatment. "I don’t think you guys understand just how well I know you."
Yunho exhaled sharply, his grip tightening around your leg. "Oh?"
Mingi raised a brow, his hand pressing more firmly against your hip. "Is that so?"
You bit back a smirk, fingers inching higher on both of them. "Mhm. I know you both so well… I could probably tell who’s fucking me with my eyes closed."
Silence.
Then Yunho laughed, the sound dark and low. "Oh, really?"
Mingi scoffed, tilting his head. "That’s a bold claim, sweetheart."
You shrugged, feigning nonchalance as you lightly squeezed their thighs. "It’s not a claim, it’s a fact." You leaned in slightly, voice dropping to something more sultry. "I’ve been fucked by you two enough times to know the difference."
That got their attention.
Mingi’s grip on your hip turned bruising, his fingers digging into your flesh. Yunho’s hand slid further up your thigh, pushing the fabric of your shorts higher. They shared a look above your head, something dark and knowing, before Yunho turned back to you, his smile slow and dangerous.
"You sure about that?"
Your smirk widened. "Positive."
Mingi hummed, his fingers trailing up your arm. "That so?"
Yunho exhaled, amusement laced with something far more sinister. "Then we should test that."
You blinked, the weight of their words settling in. "Test—?"
Mingi’s lips brushed against your ear. "If you’re so confident, baby, let’s see you prove it." Yunho’s other hand came up, fingers gently tracing your jaw. “Let's… blindfold you.”
Your breath caught, but neither of them gave you a chance to react.
"Then we’ll take turns fucking you," Mingi continued, his voice dropping lower. "And you’re gonna guess who’s inside you."
Yunho’s lips curled into a smirk. "And only when you get it right will we let you cum."
Your stomach clenched, heat pooling low in your belly.
Mingi chuckled at your silence, his palm sliding down to squeeze your thigh. "Oh, what’s wrong, sweetheart?"
Yunho tilted his head. "You were so confident just a second ago."
Your mouth opened, but no words came out. Mingi and Yunho didn’t stop smirking at you, their amusement growing as Yunho leaned closer. Before you had a chance to react, his hand slipped down your body, moving with a slow confidence that made you shiver.
"Jesus, you’re already so wet…" Yunho’s fingers slid past the waistband of your panties, the soft fabric brushing your sensitive skin before diving straight between your folds. He barely gave you a chance to adjust, slipping two fingers in slowly, stretching you open just enough for him to feel your heat.
You gasped, your body tightening at the sudden intrusion. "What’s the matter, baby?" Yunho’s voice was low, almost smug, as he dragged his fingers deeper, forcing you to grind down onto his hand. "Did you think you could just tease us and get away with it?"
Yunho’s thumb moved up to circle your clit, pressing firmly and teasingly as he kept his fingers deep inside you. "So, you were saying," he purred, his gaze flicking to Mingi, then back to you. "You think you can tell who’s fucking you, huh?"
You couldn’t stop yourself from whining, the pressure building in your core. You blinked up at Yunho, trying to focus, but your head was spinning. "I-I’m sure…"
"Sure about what?" Yunho taunted, curling his fingers inside you to make you jerk against his hand. "That you’ll know exactly who’s who by our cocks?" He added, his voice turning darker, rougher. "We’ll see about that."
Mingi chuckled, the sound deep and amused. "She thinks she knows? Interesting." he said as his hand slipped beneath your shirt, cupping your breasts.
Yunho started pumping his fingers in and out, each stroke rough and punishing as he continued to work you open. "You think you can guess?" he growled, his lips curling into a twisted grin. "Because if you’re wrong… we won’t let you cum.."
You moaned softly, squeezing your eyes shut, your hips moving of their own accord. "I’ll guess," you said, breathless. "I can tell."
Mingi moved closer, dragging a finger lightly down your jaw, tilting your face so that you had to look at him. "Tell us, then," he purred, the challenge clear in his voice. "Tell us how badly you want us."
Yunho’s fingers slid in deeper, harder, his thumb circling your clit in rhythmic, relentless movements. "Tell us, sweetheart," he grunted. "Who’s got you this wet, hm?”
Your answer was nothing but a soft gasp, your body moving involuntarily as Yunho fucked his fingers into you, curling them at just the right angle.
"You don’t even know, do you?" Yunho hissed, suddenly pulling his fingers out of you, leaving you wanting more. “Such a little slut… Guess you’ll have to find out the hard way."
Mingi’s eager hands gripped your waist as he effortlessly lifted you off the ground, spinning you around and throwing you onto the bed with a slight chuckle. Your breath caught as you bounced on the mattress, heart racing in anticipation of what was to come. He towered over you in an instant, a hunger in his eyes that sent a shiver down your spine.
"Ready to play, sweetheart?" he growled, a wicked grin curving his lips.
Before you could respond, Mingi reached over to the nightstand, his movements swift and practiced, pulling a black silk blindfold from the drawer. He was already stripping it open, his eyes never leaving yours as he tied it around your head, blocking out all sight and plunging you into complete darkness.
A soft, teasing chuckle escaped Yunho’s lips as he leaned against the doorframe, eyes sparkling with amusement. "Look at you, Mingi," he teased, "as eager as she is. I guess she’s rubbing off on you."
Mingi shot Yunho a playful, half-resentful glare before positioning himself on the bed. "I can’t help it," he muttered, hovering over you as his hands roamed your body. "She’s so fucking irresistible."
You could feel the heat of Mingi’s body hovering just above yours, his breath tickling your skin as Yunho slowly walked closer, smirking at the scene unfolding. Mingi slid his hands to your hips, pinning you down, his fingers digging into the soft skin. "Don’t worry," he murmured, his voice low and full of promise, "we’ll get this game started real soon."
Yunho chuckled again, shaking his head, but the amusement in his gaze was unmistakable. "You think she’s ready for what we’re about to do?" he teased Mingi, his voice soft but dripping with intent.
Mingi smirked, his hands gently trailing up your thighs before resting on your hips. "Oh, she’s ready. Isn’t that right, baby?" he whispered, before planting a gentle kiss against your neck, moving slowly, deliberately.
You shivered, nodding your head even though you couldn’t see them, feeling your pulse quicken as the tension between you three thickened. The anticipation, the waiting, was almost too much to bear. But then, Mingi’s fingers traced over your body, touching you everywhere, making you ache for more.
"Tell me, sweetheart," he teased, voice dipping low. "You ready to play along? Guess who’s fucking you?"
You swallowed thickly, already trembling under the touch of their hands, knowing the game had just begun.
The rustling of clothes fills the room, each piece hitting the floor with a soft thud. Even blindfolded, you can hear them, sense the way they move around you like predators circling prey. Then, Yunho’s hands are on you—strong, demanding.
"Up." His tone leaves no room for hesitation. He manhandles you with ease, lifting you into his lap as he leans back against the headboard. Your back presses against his firm chest, his legs spread wide beneath you, forcing yours open. His hands grip your thighs, keeping them in place. Trapped.
"There we go, baby," he murmurs, his voice dripping with amusement. "Right where we want you."
Then there’s Mingi.
Settling between your legs, he lets out a low groan at the sight of your soaked panties. He presses two fingers against the damp fabric, dragging them up your slit slowly, teasingly.
"Look at this mess, Yunho." His voice is thick with mockery. "She’s already dripping onto your thighs."
Yunho chuckles, his breath hot against your ear. His hands move up, palms grazing your stomach before sliding to your chest. He cups your breasts, thumbs flicking over your already sensitive nipples.
"Of course she is," he muses, rolling one nipple between his fingers, tugging just enough to make you whimper. "She loves being used."
Before you can protest—not that you’d ever dare—Mingi hooks his fingers into your panties, dragging them down your thighs. The cool air barely has a chance to touch your soaked core before he pushes two fingers inside you, knuckles deep without warning.
A gasp rips from your throat, your body jerking, but Yunho tightens his hold, keeping you locked against him.
"Tsk, tsk," Mingi murmurs, curling his fingers inside you. "So fucking tight, and we haven’t even started."
"She can take more," Yunho says smoothly, his free hand sliding down your stomach. Before you can even process it, his fingers press against your entrance, slipping inside beside Mingi’s.
Your body tenses—overwhelmed, stretched, full—but neither of them give you a moment to adjust. They move in tandem, pushing deeper, working you open with no patience, no mercy. Your moans come in breathless little sobs, hips twitching between them.
"That’s it," Mingi coos mockingly, his thumb rubbing slow, taunting circles over your clit. "Take it like the desperate little thing you are."
Yunho’s lips graze your ear, his voice dangerously soft. "Who’s gonna break you first, baby?"
Mingi smirks, watching your body tremble.
"Doesn’t matter." His fingers pump harder, faster, sending shockwaves through you. "She’s gonna take us both anyway."
Yunho’s fingers keep working inside you, matching Mingi’s pace, stretching you open without an ounce of patience. The two of them are relentless, their movements synced—one thrusting deep, the other pressing against that sweet spot inside you that has your legs trembling.
Your moans are ragged, breath hitching every time their fingers push deeper. Mingi’s thumb flicks over your clit, teasing, taunting.
"She’s getting close," he murmurs, watching the way your body reacts. "Think we should let her cum?"
Yunho only smirks, locking eyes with him. A silent message passes between them.
Who’s taking her first?
Mingi tilts his head, considering. Then, he chuckles darkly. "Go ahead.” he signals.
The second the decision is made, they pull their fingers out at the same time. The sudden emptiness makes you whimper, thighs twitching as your walls clench around nothing. But before you can even process the loss, Yunho is already moving.
He grips your waist, lifting you with ease before placing you on the bed, your body sinking into the mattress. Both men hover over you, their eyes dark, predatory.
"Fuck, look at her," Mingi murmurs, raking his gaze down your body. "Completely ruined, and we haven’t even started."
Your chest rises and falls with uneven breaths, the blindfold still robbing you of sight. But you can feel their eyes on you—devouring, consuming. The way they hover, the heat radiating off their bare skin, the way Yunho’s weight dips the bed as he moves between your legs.
Then, a soft metallic clink.
One. Then another.
They’re taking off their rings.
Your lips part, realization hitting you hard. They’re making it impossible for you to tell who’s inside you.
"That's fucking mean," you whisper, barely audible.
Mingi clicks his tongue, fingers tracing over your trembling thighs. "Aw, baby, you look so nervous." His voice is laced with amusement, but there’s nothing comforting about it. "What’s wrong? Can’t tell who’s about to ruin you?"
You open your mouth to say something—anything—but then one of them moves between your legs.
No warning. No words.
Just the thick, aching heat of a cock dragging through your soaked folds, teasing, testing.
And then—he thrusts in.
Your body shatters around the stretch, a sharp gasp ripping from your throat as he sinks in deep. No patience, no hesitation—just one smooth, brutal thrust until he’s buried to the hilt, your walls tightening around him as you struggle to adjust.
He doesn’t make a sound.
No moans, no teasing, not even a sharp inhale. Just the weight of his body pressing you into the mattress, the heavy grip on your thighs keeping you spread wide.
Your lips part, breathless and dazed. "M-Mingi?"
A dark chuckle comes from beside you, but the man inside you? Silent.
Mingi’s fingers brush your jaw, tilting your head towards him. "Is that your guess?" His tone is smug, knowing. "Are you sure?"
Your mind is foggy, thoughts scrambled from the way he’s filling you—slow at first, dragging back just enough to make you feel every inch before slamming back in. Your breath hitches, nails digging into the sheets.
It has to be Mingi. Right? The way he’s holding you down, the way he—
Your thoughts disintegrate when he moves.
The next thrust is ruthless. Deep. Precise. The kind of stroke that knocks the air from your lungs, that makes your back arch off the bed as a cry rips from your throat.
You can’t even think straight.
You try again, voice barely a whisper. "Y-Yunho?"
Silence.
No confirmation. No denial. Just another brutal snap of his hips, deeper this time, dragging a moan from your lips before you can stop it.
"Tsk," Mingi coos, his fingers sliding down your throat, pressing just enough to make your head spin. "You don’t even know whose cock you’re taking, do you?"
You try to focus—on the grip on your waist, the way he moves, the way he stretches you. But it’s useless. He’s fucking you too hard, too deep, your body bouncing with each thrust, your moans breaking into incoherent little sobs.
And the worst part? The man between your legs still hasn’t said a damn thing.
Just fucking you into the mattress, watching you come undone, knowing you’ll never guess right.
And you don’t.
Because at this point, it doesn’t even matter.
The man inside you—Yunho (you think, you hope)—doesn’t hold back. His thrusts are deep, brutal, every stroke sinking to the hilt before pulling back just enough to make you feel the loss, only to slam back in harder. Your body jerks with every movement, helpless beneath him, completely at his mercy.
And he still doesn’t make a sound.
No moans, no taunts, nothing but the sound of skin slapping against skin and your breathy, desperate whimpers filling the air. You hate how easily you’re unraveling, how your body is already tightening, clenching around him, the pleasure coiling low in your stomach. You’re close—so close—your fingers gripping the sheets, legs trembling as your orgasm creeps up fast.
"P-Please," you whimper, not even sure who you’re begging. "Let me cum."
You can feel Yunho smirk against your skin. But he doesn’t answer.
Instead, he pulls out.
A sob rips from your throat at the sudden emptiness, your walls clenching around nothing, the pleasure fading into sharp frustration. You try to squeeze your legs shut, to chase something, but a firm hand grips your thighs, spreading you wide again.
Then you hear it.
The subtle shift of bodies. The rustle of movement.
And then—a new cock presses against your entrance.
Mingi.
Or at least, you think it’s Mingi. You don’t even have time to guess before he thrusts in, just as deep, just as brutal, splitting you open like you were made for this.
A strangled moan escapes your lips, your brain scrambling to figure out who it is, to recognize the way he moves, the way he fills you. But it’s impossible. You can barely focus with the way he’s pounding into you, each thrust hitting exactly where you need, dragging you right back to the edge of pleasure.
Your body tenses, tightening around him, ready to snap—
And then he pulls out too.
"No," you cry, voice breaking.
A deep chuckle. "Poor thing," Mingi murmurs, but you can’t tell if it’s him who was just inside you or if he’s sitting back, watching.
Your head is spinning, your body aching, but there’s no time to think—because once again, a new cock presses against your entrance.
Yunho.
Or maybe Mingi.
You have no idea.
The stretch is immediate, the fullness almost unbearable after being denied twice, but you can’t even bring yourself to care anymore. Your mind is nothing but static, your body trembling as they take turns with you, switching again and again, keeping you on the edge but never letting you fall.
Your thighs burn, your skin slick with sweat, your voice hoarse from begging.
But then—
When the next body presses against you, when the next cock slides inside, you feel it.
The way he angles himself. The way his hips roll slightly different.
Your body is trembling, every nerve alight with overstimulation, your mind fogged by the endless cycle of pleasure and denial. You don’t even know how many times they’ve switched, how many times they’ve pushed you to the brink only to rip it away at the last second.
But this time—this time, you know.
The second he thrusts back in, the stretch, the curve of him—it clicks.
"Yunho," you gasp, your voice wrecked from begging, from moaning, from taking.
For the first time, he makes a sound. A low, dark chuckle rumbles from his chest, and his grip on your waist tightens.
"Finally," Mingi muses from beside you, his tone laced with amusement. His hand ghosts over your jaw, tilting your face towards him. His lips brush against your ear, breath hot. "You really are a good little slut, huh? Figuring out who’s using you like this?"
A wave of heat washes over you at the praise, your thighs twitching, desperate for friction. But before you can get lost in it—before you can even think of chasing that pleasure—Yunho pulls out.
Your whole body jolts from the loss, a strangled sob escaping your lips.
"Shh," Mingi soothes, though there’s nothing gentle about the way he grips your throat, forcing your head back. His thumb strokes over your pulse, feeling how erratic it is. "You don’t think we’d let you cum that easily, do you?"
You whimper, shaking your head, because you already know the answer.
"Good girl," he purrs, pressing a slow, taunting kiss to your jaw before pulling back.
Then, his next words make your stomach drop.
"Yunho. Pick her up."
A rush of air fills your lungs as strong arms hook under your thighs, lifting you effortlessly. Your body is weightless, dizzy with exhaustion, but you feel the way Yunho settles back against the headboard, the broad expanse of his chest supporting you as he spreads your legs wide over his lap. And then—Mingi moves between them. Your breath stutters.
You barely have a second to react before Mingi’s hands grip your thighs, pushing them even wider as he presses himself against you. The slick drag of him against your already stretched entrance makes your head spin, the reality of what’s about to happen sinking in.
"Oh," you whisper, voice shaky.
Mingi smirks, dragging the head of his cock over your swollen, ruined cunt.
"Oh," he mocks, his voice dripping with amusement. "She finally gets it."
You barely get a chance to prepare before Yunho tightens his grip on your waist, and the pressure between your legs doubles.
And then—
They sink in together.
Your vision whites out, your body convulsing from the impossible stretch, the overwhelming fullness, the way they force you open, taking everything they give.
"Fuck," Mingi growls, voice strained. "She’s taking us both so fucking well."
Yunho doesn’t say a word. He just moves.
And the last coherent thought you have is that they still haven’t let you cum.
And you have no idea when they will.
The world outside your body seems to disappear as they continue, the overwhelming sensation of being stretched in both directions, filled and claimed in ways that make your head spin. The steady rhythm of their thrusts has your body writhing beneath them, and your chest rises and falls erratically with each deep push. They’re relentless. Neither one of them lets up, their hips slamming into yours with a force that has you gasping for air, your nails digging into the sheets beneath you.
You can barely keep track of who's inside you anymore. Your body’s giving itself over completely, the pressure building relentlessly as both men move in perfect harmony. Their pace never falters, pushing you to the brink of overwhelming pleasure, but they don't let you reach it. Not yet.
Every thrust is deeper, harder, until it feels like you’re being driven into the mattress, your body lifted slightly with each savage movement. The relentless pounding has you gasping for breath, your legs trembling with the intensity of their touch. You’re on the edge—so close—but then it happens again: they pull back.
You whimper, lost in the pleasure and the frustration, your body trembling with need.
"Please," you beg, your voice breaking, barely able to form the words. "Please... let me... please..."
Mingi chuckles low, his grip tightening around your hips. "Begging already? You’re a desperate little slut, huh?" His words are a mixture of praise and command, teasing you with the harsh edge of his tone.
Yunho doesn't respond with words, but the way he drives into you next, the sheer force of his movement, speaks louder than anything he could have said. You cry out, tears filling your eyes from the overwhelming sensation. The sounds of their movements and your moans fill the room, each thrust pushing you closer and closer to the edge. But still, they don’t let you tip over.
"You're gonna beg for it, aren't you?" Mingi murmurs, voice hushed but full of dark amusement. His hands roam over your body, touching, teasing, leaving you desperate for more. "Beg for us, baby. Beg us to let you cum."
You shake your head in disbelief, the frustration building to an unbearable point. "Please, please... I need it," you beg, voice trembling, tears slipping down your cheeks. "I need to cum... please."
Yunho grits his teeth, his hips snapping faster, deeper, forcing you to take every inch. The way he pushes into you, the way his body moves against yours—there’s no stopping it, no controlling it. You can feel the tension coiling tighter in your stomach, every thrust driving you closer to the edge, but the denial is unbearable.
Then—finally—they relent.
Mingi leans down, his lips crashing against yours in a rough, passionate kiss, his tongue sweeping into your mouth, claiming you as he thrusts harder. At the same time, Yunho’s hand slips between your legs, finding your clit, and his fingers begin to work it in tight, controlled circles.
Your body jolts at the touch, the sudden rush of sensation overwhelming, and without warning, the pressure in your core snaps. You’re spiraling, tumbling over the edge as they push you past every boundary. Your body trembles beneath them, your cries of pleasure swallowed by Mingi’s kiss, the heat and the relief washing over you in waves.
Yunho doesn’t stop, his fingers never ceasing their movement as your orgasm wracks through your body, leaving you gasping, panting, writhing in the aftermath.
Mingi pulls back from the kiss, his grin dark and satisfied. "That’s it," he murmurs. "Good girl. You did so well."
Your body is trembling, raw from the intense pleasure and the overwhelming teasing, but they’re not done with you yet. You’re spent, but still, the deep, relentless pounding continues, pushing you to the edge again. The air is thick with their dominance, their control over you, and it leaves you gasping for breath, struggling to keep up with their relentless pace.
Mingi leans over you, his breath hot against your ear. “You’re taking us so well, little slut,” he growls, his hands gripping your hips as he drives into you harder, deeper, pushing you further into the bed. The sensation is almost too much, and yet, you can’t help but want more. Every inch of you craves it—more of them, more of their control, more of the feeling of being filled and used like this.
But then—Yunho.
You hear the soft click of a drawer beside him. You can’t even process it before he pulls something small from the drawer—a vibrator. A small, sleek bullet, cold against your skin for a split second before he presses it against your clit.
You gasp. The sensation is too much. Your body tenses, already sensitive from the constant stimulation, and Yunho doesn’t waste a moment. The tiny vibrator buzzes against you, sending shocks of pleasure that make your body jolt. You can barely think as Mingi keeps fucking into you with no mercy, your body being pounded relentlessly, your mind spinning with the overload of sensation.
Yunho’s fingers work the vibrator over your clit with precision, each pulse sending you closer and closer to the edge. You’re shaking, completely at their mercy, unable to do anything but moan and beg as they continue. Your walls tighten around Mingi, and the pressure is almost unbearable.
And then, as the vibrator presses harder, the combination of the pounding and the stimulation hits you like a wave. Your body tenses, and a cry escapes your lips as your orgasm crashes over you. It’s intense, overwhelming, and your entire body clenches, the sensations rippling through you as you come.
But they’re not done yet.
As you tremble, still recovering from the overwhelming wave of pleasure, Mingi growls in satisfaction, his grip tightening around you, forcing you to stay in place as Yunho never stops, his fingers still pressing the vibrator against your clit. The pressure builds again, too much to bear, but you can’t pull away—you're trapped in this endless cycle of pleasure and denial.
They move together, pushing you past every limit you thought you had. The intensity is almost cruel, and they’re relentless in their control over you, taking their pleasure while you give in to theirs.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, they both cum, filling you up with their warmth. But even then, they don’t let up. Yunho pulls the vibrator away, but only for a second, making you shudder at the sudden absence before he presses it back, causing another wave of pleasure to pulse through you.
After everything, the room is thick with the weight of what just happened. Your body feels heavy, spent from the overwhelming pleasure. They both stay still for a moment, allowing the warmth of their thick cum to settle deep inside you. You can feel the mess, but neither one of them makes you move just yet.
Yunho pulls out first, his release dripping from you onto the mattress beneath. Mingi watches closely, his gaze dark with satisfaction. The moment is quiet, but the tension in the air is palpable.
“Look at you,” Mingi says softly, a slight smirk on his lips. His hands move to your thighs, gently soothing the tense muscles, his fingers gliding over your skin in slow, comforting strokes. “You did so well, baby.”
Yunho leans down to kiss your forehead, his lips soft against your skin. His hand brushes away the stray strands of hair clinging to your face. “You’re amazing,” he murmurs, his voice low, soft, and full of praise. “You handled us better than we expected.”
They give you a moment to breathe, their hands gentle against your skin. Yunho slowly reaches for the blindfold, carefully pulling it from your eyes. As the fabric slides away, you blink against the light, your gaze meeting theirs. Your eyes are still teary, and they drink in the sight of you—exhausted, yet somehow still aroused.
Mingi leans in, his fingers softly tracing the outline of your jaw. “How are you feeling, baby?” he asks, his voice laced with concern despite the teasing edge. He’s still watching you carefully, his fingers gentle as they rub the tender skin of your inner thighs. “We didn’t go too far, did we?”
Yunho smiles at the sight of you, his thumb brushing over your lips. “Good girl,” he says, his words soft but full of meaning. “You’re so beautiful when you’re completely ours.. completely for our own use.”
They both stay close, offering tender aftercare, letting the intensity of the moment fade as they care for you. Their hands, their words, their presence—everything about them is gentle, grounding you after the storm.

A Flame All Her Own
- Summary: Caraxes always knows how to snatch all your attention for himself. Which leaves Daemon jealous of his own dragon.
- Pairing: sister!reader/Daemon Targaryen
- Rating: Mature 16+
- Next part: the bold and the beautiful
- Tag(s): @sachaa-ff @alyssa-dayne @oxymakestheworldgoround
The morning air is thick with the salt of the Narrow Sea as you stand by the cliff edge, Caraxes sprawled before you, his great, sinuous body stretched luxuriously along the rocks. His scales glisten, the deep crimson reflecting in the morning sun as his slitted eyes, always watchful, follow your every movement. The dragon’s head rests lazily beside you, large enough that one of his breaths could likely knock you off your feet, yet gentle as he huffs softly, nuzzling your hand as you scratch just beneath his horned jaw.
“You’re spoiling him,” comes Daemon’s voice from behind, laced with a tone that’s both disapproving and… sulking? You smirk without turning around, knowing full well what that look on his face must be: arms crossed, brow slightly furrowed, mouth drawn into that familiar pout that’s often mistaken for mere arrogance but, today, has a hint of jealousy.
“Am I?” you respond, your voice light with feigned innocence as you continue to scratch Caraxes. The dragon rumbles in pleasure, tilting his head like a hound angling for more affection. You can feel Daemon’s eyes drilling into your back, but you don’t let up, laughing softly as Caraxes leans closer, nearly knocking you sideways in his enthusiasm.
“Yes, you are,” Daemon steps closer, his dark cloak billowing slightly as he stands beside you, looking down at his dragon with mild disdain. “He’ll be insufferable now, demanding pets and scratches like some slobbering mutt.”
“Oh, you’re one to talk,” you tease, glancing at Daemon. “You’re as spoiled as Caraxes is.”
Daemon’s eyes narrow at the comparison, though a glimmer of amusement tugs at the corners of his mouth. “Spoiled, am I?”
Caraxes’s head shifts, his large, amber eyes drifting from you to his rider as if sensing Daemon’s displeasure. He rumbles again, a deep sound that vibrates the rock beneath your feet, and Daemon gives his dragon a flat look.
“Not you too, you great overgrown lizard,” Daemon mutters. “I am your rider, remember? Mine, not hers.”
Caraxes blinks slowly, looking almost unimpressed. You swear, for a brief moment, that the dragon’s gaze shifts back to you with what could only be called affection. It’s as if he’s saying, “Oh, but she’s my favorite.” You can’t help but laugh at Daemon’s expression.
“I think he’s simply decided that I give better scratches,” you say, grinning.
Daemon arches a brow, eyes glinting with a mixture of challenge and feigned affront. “Is that so?” He steps closer, nudging you out of the way so he can place a hand on Caraxes’s scales, patting his dragon’s neck with exaggerated enthusiasm. “You like me, don’t you, boy?” he asks, scratching roughly—too roughly, if Caraxes’s sudden flick of his tail and indignant huff are anything to go by.
“See?” you laugh, folding your arms as you watch with a smirk. “Gentleness, Daemon. Perhaps Caraxes prefers a softer touch.”
Daemon looks at you with a pointed glare. “Are you suggesting I’m not gentle?”
“Oh, Daemon, of course not,” you reply, lips twitching as you fight a smile. “You’re a Targaryen knight in shining armor.”
“Knight, indeed,” Daemon snorts, but there’s a glimmer of mirth in his eyes as he takes your bait. He shifts closer, one arm snaking around your waist, pulling you to him with a quick, possessive motion that sends a thrill down your spine. “Tell me, then. Should I be jealous of my own dragon? Or are you so starved for attention that you’ll take affection where you can get it?”
His words are laced with mock offense, but his hand holds you firmly, his thumb brushing against your waist in a way that belies his teasing tone.
“Jealous?” You raise a brow, feigning surprise. “Of Caraxes?”
He leans closer, voice dropping to a murmur. “Perhaps I ought to start breathing fire to gain your favor, then.”
You tilt your head, amused by the thought. “Imagine how well that would go at court,” you muse. “The Rogue Prince, reduced to petty flames for his sister’s affection.”
Daemon chuckles, the sound warm and rumbling, yet his hand on your waist tightens. “I’d reduce more than just my pride to flames if it meant keeping your attention on me.”
Caraxes huffs suddenly, a low rumble that sounds suspiciously like laughter, if a dragon could laugh. He lowers his head to nose at your shoulder, nudging Daemon’s hand away in the process as if to say, “She’s mine, actually.” You burst out laughing, leaning into Caraxes’s scaled cheek, feeling the warmth radiate from his skin.
“Seems like he’s made his choice,” you say with a sly smile, watching Daemon’s face flicker between exasperation and humor.
“Oh, has he?” Daemon drawls, arching a brow as he watches you and Caraxes, clearly unimpressed. “Well, perhaps I should be jealous, then. I might have to fight him for your favor.”
You laugh, raising a hand to smooth over Daemon’s arm. “Poor Daemon,” you tease, your tone laced with affection. “Unseated by your own dragon.”
He rolls his eyes, though the warmth in his gaze softens his expression. “If Caraxes intends to keep you for himself, he should remember who his true rider is.”
Caraxes turns his head slightly, eyeing Daemon with a look that, impossibly, feels smug. You laugh again, patting the dragon’s neck in reassurance. “Don’t worry, Caraxes. There’s room enough for both of you.”
Daemon grunts, slipping an arm around your shoulders, drawing you closer as he casts a sidelong glance at Caraxes. “You’re lucky I tolerate you, you red menace,” he mutters, though the fondness in his voice is unmistakable.
The dragon lets out a huff, almost as if he’s rolling his eyes, and settles his head back down, clearly satisfied with his small victory. And as you lean into Daemon’s side, his arm wrapped securely around you, you catch the slight smile on his lips. For all his talk, the Rogue Prince is more than happy to share your affections—even if it means indulging in a rivalry with his own dragon.

𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄.ᐟ (𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭)
zayne is known for enjoying desserts, but there’s a sweet he hasn’t tried yet that he’s been craving.
⟡ content: zayne x gn!reader; early stage of the established relationship; first kiss; very sweet (both literally and figuratively); reader being flustered and zayne being bold; you basically live in zayne's mind 24/7; sfw; 1.6k
⟡ a/n: i was listening to day 6's song chocolate and inspiration struck me (>\\<) like "i often imagine when i kiss you, i'm curious about how it would feel... i can't control my heart, i think there's another me inside me" WAAH i thought it was fitting for zayne!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It wasn’t typical of Zayne to be indulgent. Everything was done with careful moderation and consideration, from purchasing clothing to committing to exercise. However, when it came to desserts, all the rules he set up were scrubbed from his memory. No one suspected that the cardiac surgeon had such a strong sweet tooth. That was until his co-workers saw him at the bakery near the hospital one day, contemplating seriously about which new flavour of cake to get. To everyone’s surprise, he had ended up buying a slice of each one.
Anything sweet had a way of bypassing his self-control, which, naturally, meant you as well.
Taking a moment to himself in his office between appointments, Zayne reached for the cellophane bag of cookies sitting by his computer. The red string around the bag also held a tag with careful handwriting. It read:
Roses are red, jasmines are white, I made these with love, I hope you’ll take a bite.
Beneath the message was a cutely drawn face of you winking. Even though he had read this about 20 times since you dropped it off to him before you went to work, he still breathed a small laugh and shook his head. He unravelled the string, putting the tag safely in his pocket. The cookies inside were shaped like snowflakes and frosted blue and and white. He admired the design for a moment before taking a bite.
Imagining you preparing this made him smile. You had probably woken up earlier than usual to bake them fresh, putting on your apron with a determined look on your face. Each ingredient would be carefully measured, and as much as you would want eat the raw dough, his voice of caution would pop into your head about the dangers of uncooked eggs and flour. Once they were baking, you would finish by making the icing, dying it blue. He could imagine how you’d dip your finger into the bowl, bringing the mixture to your mouth. The blue would be a contrast against your rosy lips as you licked them to savour the taste.
That image of you stayed in Zayne’s head for longer than he intended.
He finished off a second cookie. It had a satisfying texture, the icing sugary and smooth.
Would your lips taste as sweet as this?
The thought came so naturally that he didn’t think anything unusual of its presence. There would probably still be some icing left on your lips, and he would simply lean in to—
Zayne cleared his throat.
The sound broke the silence of his office and banished the trespassing thought.
Only two weeks into this relationship, and he was fantasising like a high school boy at his work. You always had been a permanent fixture in his thoughts, but now it all felt so real. He no longer thought of you as his partner in hypotheticals. Being able to kiss you, and taste the sweetness on your lips wasn’t a dream anymore. Now, the real concern was the appropriate when and where.
He tied the bag closed, saving the rest to bring home. His break was over, and he had to continue on with work. Though he had finished his dessert long ago, the taste of vanilla icing lingered on his tongue for the rest of the day.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
”Earth to Zayne~ can you hear me?”
Zayne turned to you. Your head was titled to the side, an expectant look on your face.
Though it was a weekend morning, both of you were on the sofa completing the remaining piece of your respective work—him finishing his recommendations for a patient, and you filling out a case report for your recent hunter excursion.
“Yes, I can hear you,” he replied, matter-of-factly.
You narrowed your eyes in playful suspicion. “Hm, and what about the past two times I called you?”
Zayne adjusted his glasses. “I must have been focused on my report.”
His reason would have been convincing enough, if not for your keen senses. Despite his unchanging expression, you weren’t mistaken seeing the tips of his ears turn red.
You sorted your documents back into the folder, and placed it to the side.
“You stopped typing on your laptop and sort of stared into your screen for a minute. It was very un-Zayne like I must say,” you remarked as a half-joke.
Seeing just how observant you were towards him filled him with inexplicable pride.
“Is everything okay?” you asked, tone softening.
He paused for a moment, considering his next words. Closing the window to his document and shutting his laptop, he gave his full attention to you.
“Actually, something has been on my mind.”
With a concerned frown, you crossed your legs together, sitting in a more comfortable position to listen to him. Though, you could have never predicted what your boyfriend would say next.
”I was thinking about moving our relationship to the next stage.”
Heat rushed to your cheeks. Stuttered sounds came out of your mouth. When you realised you could form no words, you covered your face with your hands. What could he possibly mean by that!? Suddenly, you felt quite conscious about where you were seated. If Zayne reached out to his left, he could easily wrap his arm around your waist. And, you knew the purple loungewear you had on wasn’t the most alluring clothing you had.
“The next stage?” you repeated in a much higher pitch than you intended.
He nodded, giving no apparent indication that he noticed the fluster you were in. He seemed too calm. Perhaps you were drawing the wrong conclusion too quickly.
“If it’s alright with you, I”—Zayne stopped his sentence short. “Could you… close your eyes for me?”
You blinked at him.
“Ohh,” you sounded with understanding, “is this some kind of surprise? Are you giving me a present?”
He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “One might call it that.”
Even though his reply to your question was quite ambiguous, you happily closed your eyes. You heard a small sound to the side, guessing that he had placed something on the table. Of course, it was natural for couples to give gifts that signified the seriousness of the relationship. Maybe he bought some jewellery or a precious keepsake, you innocently pondered.
Zayne took a last look at your awaiting face. Eyes closed, lips glossy from the balm you just applied.
The sofa shifted. The weight of his body dipped the cushion beneath you. His close presence made your senses prickle. The jasmine and mint scent of his cologne now enveloped you.
When is he going to let me open my eyes?
“Zayne.”
You breathed out his name before you felt warmth against your lips.
Your eyes shot open.
Zayne had taken off his glasses (which you now realised was what that previous sound had been) and he was kissing you. Kissing you for the very first time.
Your brain and body were at odds with each other.
Your muscles froze, but you also didn’t want to pull away. Not when he initiated something you had spent so long daydreaming about, but never had the courage to do. Noticing this, Zayne raised his hand to your face. His thumb gently caressed your cheek. A silent signal that communicated a message of reassurance. It’s alright, you can relax, you seemed to hear his smooth voice in your head. Tension melted away. In exchange, your heartrate picked up. Closing your eyes once again, you let the sensation wash over you.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Time seemed to stand still and move too fast all at once.
Zayne slid his hand down to rest at the base of your neck. Your skin felt hot against his cool fingertips.
Admittedly, he was out of practice, and the worry of doing this wrong flashed in his mind. But, when you eased into his touch, lips parting to invite more of him in, everything fell into place.
Vanilla frosting… I was right, he thought.
You were sweeter than any dessert he had tried in his life. One taste would not be enough after this. You had become a dangerous craving to him now.
Zayne withdrew, staying close to your face. Your eyes fluttered open, blinking slowly as if waking from a stupor. You were greeted with his green and amber gaze, his clear satisfaction illuminated by the morning sun pouring through the curtains behind you. Before you was a version of him you had never seen.
“Y-you’re too bold, Zayne,” you murmured.
The breath you had held during the kiss caught up to you. Your exhales lightly brushed against his skin as he stared at your lips—flushed like the colour of raspberry sorbet. He scanned every part of your expression, desperately needing to memorise your face in this moment. Everything about you was utterly perfect.
“I’m sorry for catching you off guard.”
You shook your head, the bangs of his hair brushing against your forehead. Only Zayne could blindside you with such a storybook kiss, and then apologise for it.
“You occupy my thoughts all the time,” he continued, a rasp in his voice as he whispered. “It’s unfathomable and quite distracting.”
You chuckled, the sound melodious to his ears. “I didn’t know a chief surgeon could be so easily distracted.”
Zayne smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling with mirth.
“When the surgeon has someone he likes a lot,” he closed the distance, leaning his forehead against yours, “he often wonders how sweet they would taste.”

baby, it’s cold outside — JB9

pairing: joe burrow x fem!reader
warnings: smut, morning breath doesn’t exist, established relationship, pwp, swearing, not proofread!!
inspired by: “baby it’s cold outside” by dean martin [2.3k]
a/n: ew i hate the ending okay i can never write them 😔😔
joe would never deny his hatred of the cold, from playing in it to simply just feeling it, he hated the way it nipped at his skin, leaving his hands red and sore, the way his face flushed. you, however, found it adorable, when he flashed up on the big screen and his cheeks had turned a pretty pink, the tip of his nose starting to look like rudolph.
a winter storm had sure set in for the night, your bedroom window frosted over as the pale morning sun reflected off of the snow outside, glistening like shining jewels across the grass, although you knew it’d be a pain to clean off of the car, the picture was so winter wonderland it was worth the hassle in your eyes.
winters in cincinnati were rough for him, he still hadn't adapted to the below 10 mornings in the years he'd been with the team, instead seeking your comfort and warmth in the bed you shared before his early practices, never wanting to leave the safe space of his covers in the morning, savouring it as he dragged himself to the shower, where for some reason he refused to had warm morning showers, even when you joined them with him.
you felt his stirring in his sleep, already been awake for at least half an hour with his arm still wrapped loosely around your waisg, always an early riser despite the later sun rises you were getting, your room still covered in a blanket of darkness despite the time on the alarm clock reading 6:58 am in bold, due to go off any minute to wake joe up for practice, and whilst you had the luxury of going back to sleep, he did not, so you were left to your own thoughts.
in the corner of the room, a small decorated tree stuck out in your thoughts, a smile tugging on your lips at the memory of getting it with him when you'd first moved in together two years ago, and thereafter decorating it together, your first christmas seeming so long ago like a blur in your mind. your vanity in the other corner of your room was adorned with other decorations, the picture of you and joe at your first christmas tree lighting in high school together front and centre.
your attention fell back to the sleeping man beside you, his hand subconsciously with a grip on your hip, still deep in whatever dream he was having as you could make out his eyebrows furrowing in the rays of the rising sun that reflected in through the open drawn curtains. down his neck and along his collarbone you caught a glimpse of the marks from the night before, purple and red bruises littering the taut skin, scratch marks travelling over his shoulder and down his back.
mornings together like these were easily up there as the favourite part of your relationship with joe, you both had busy lives, so it was always special to you to have time spent together wether asleep or not. neither of you had any other need than staying close to the other, the gentle rise and fall of his chest soothing you almost to sleep again. just on time, his alarm sounded in the background, feeling him pulling you closer into him as he let out a tired groan, unhappy that he'd been brought out of his peaceful slumber.
tiredly, you left soft kisses across his bare skin, making his waking up at least a little bit more manageable, tilting your head to look up at him when you reached his chest, a small smile forming on your lips as you noticed the tip of his nose had turned a light pink, the coldness in the air wasn't missed by him as he brought the duvet further up your bodies.
the hand you had draped over joe's midriff moved to trace over his bare chest, feeling the goosebumps raising on his skin from the coldness in your touch, the heat of his body quickly fighting it off as you felt the muscles contracting under your light touch when your touch went lower. you tried to bring your hand lower down his body, the feeling of his grabbing your wrists held you back, reactions still quick despite his tired state.
"just wanna warm you up." you said innocently, unconvincingly apparently , as joe finally opened his eyes to meet yours, the mischievousness hiding in plain sight behind them. teasingly, giving him a kiss on the cheek as he leant in, his lips slightly cold at first, warming up quickly against your own as his hand crawled its way up and down your leg, a slight squeeze of your ass when he got there before resting it back on your hips.
he had brought your leg up to sit on his hip, the motion having him so close you could feel his entire body against you, the heat radiating off him. the action also allowed him to deepen the kiss, his tongue pushing past your lips as you let him take control, pulling you on top of his body, legs straddling his hips now. from your position now, you could see the corners of the windows had began to frost, the sight of snow undeniable as the sun reflected off of its bright surface. there was still a chill in the air, bringing the covers up to cover your body as you sat over him.
you lightly traced your finger down his face, the one you shamelessly loved to look at so much, the one you looked for in the stadium from your seat and he looked back. the eyelashes you'd always been jealous of framed his eyes perfectly, even as he held them sleepily open, his eyes were mesmerising, forcing you to hold eye contact with him.
there was no way you could talk about how much you loved his face without mentioning his lips - ones that have explored your own and your body only hours ago - you swore he's memorised his way around by now. his bottom lip slightly juts you graze it with your thumb, watching it fall back into place when you let go.
"did i not tire you out enough last night?" for the first time that morning, you're blessed with his morning voice, raspy and deep and deep and one you're sure you'll never get sick of, wanting to hear it every morning for the rest of your lift, a christmas present from him.
you lean closer to him, muscular arms wrapping around your back to hold you secure as you did so, lips just barely grazing joes ear. "could never get tired of you, joey."
just barely, you could hear him swearing under his breath, absentmindedly rolling your hips down against him with the grip he had on you, heat rushing to your cheeks as a small moan escaped your lips from the friction. "you're gonna be the death of me, baby." he muttered to you under his breath, smiling at him teasingly, you gave an experimental grind of your hips, wanting to see how much control he was willing to give you.
he lifted you off of him slightly, the pair of boxer shorts you'd stole from him that now acted as sleep shorts, off in an instant and you were back down on him, the pair of basketball shorts he'd been wearing pulled down just enough to free his cock. "gotta head to practice soon, we're gonna have to be quick." you knew if it was up to him he'd have you both locked in the room, tangled up in your bedsheets together, spending the rest of the day in each others arms, but he unfortunately didn't have time on his side.
you craved his touch, feeling his semi-hardon against you since the moment you'd woken up, feeling the way his hips subconsciously rutted against your ass, and you'd be a liar to say that it didn't turn you on that he wanted you in his dreams just as much as he wanted you awake. a prolonged whine fell from your lips as he bottomed out inside of you, about to drag your hips in a rocking motion when you pressed your hand against his chest.
with less than a second to react, he pressed his lips against yours, the kiss far too intense for a quick morning make out, had your head spinning, the slow drag of his hips slipping a moan from your lips into his mouth. tracking down your jaw and neck, his lips left dark purple marks in their wake in various sizes and shades. you whined as he bit into the soft skin at the base of your neck, soothing the stinging with his tongue.
"fuck joey, thought we had to be quick." your words were breathless, absentmindedly grinding your hips down to meet his and you could feel him deep inside of you, his hands not providing you with aid as he made you do the work to get yourself there, instead running his tongue along your collarbone as he made a mess of your chest with hickey's, in places only his eyes would see, driving him even more feral for you.
“can always take my time with you.” he confessed, lips brushing against your ear as he spoke, the hands that hadn’t helped you before now rested on your hips, keeping you at a steady space, occasionally thrusting up to meet your rhythm but with the most part letting you take your time.
you could feel one of his hands move from your hip, his large palm finding its way to the inside of your thigh and giving the soft flesh a squeeze before his hand grazed over your cunt, a small moan escaping your lips as your head dropped to the hollow part of his shoulder. his thumb toying with your clit as you clenched around him. “fuck, can feel your close, baby.”
you were only able to respond with a short hum, pleading and whining at him to give you more when he began to take over your hips, moving them against him quicker now, someone feeling him deeper inside of you, like he was hitting every spot that had your eyesight fogging and toe’s curling from the pleasure. “shit, joe,” you could feel your orgasm building, practically knocking at the door as your bodies moved against each other.
his hands roamed all over your body as if he was exploring it for the first time, the cold tips of his fingers digging into the flesh of your ass as he held you down against him, stopping your movements before he begun thrusting up into you, the pleasure overwhelming as you fell against his chest, one of his hands coming to cup your breast, squeezing the flesh and rolling your hardened nipple between his fingers before giving the same attention to the other. “you’re so beautiful, baby.”
you could hear the roughness in his voice, driving you more crazy for him than you already were, as you took back a little more of the control as your hips connected with his faster, the sound of skin on skin filling the room, long forgotten was the winter chill as you took solace in each others bodies, the time on the clock already reading that he’d be late for practice if he didn’t get up now, but he couldn’t have cared less, his attention fully on you as his blue eyes pierced yours, you could see how he was holding himself back, waiting for you to finish before he did and rhe sentiment alone drove you absolutely feral.
the sight of you on top of him was almost too much for him to control himself, the blissed out state on his face becoming more apparent as you clenched around him when his thumb found your clit against, quickening against the sensitive spot and it finally had you tumbling over the edge, your body falling flat against joe’s, the only reason your hips continued moving was because of his hands, working you through it as he whispered sweet nothings in your ear, a low guttural groan falling from his lips as he finished inside of you.
his hands wrapped around your back, pulling you against his chest as your hands fell comfortably on his shoulders, the tension in your body gone and you whined as he slid out of you slowly, a comforting hand rubbing up and down your back as the cold air began to bite at you again, the quiet a welcomed state.
you stayed like this for a few minutes, joe making the first move to get up as he went and got a towel to clean you up, and you heard him from the bathroom as he let out a “fuck i’m gonna be so late.” after finally reading the time on the alarm clock.

⇢ 𝐅𝐔𝐂𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅… 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘.
audio — tw: pegging (or something like it)

matt was already worked up—eyes dark, lips swollen from earlier kisses, thighs shifting impatiently as you leaned back against the pillows, fully clothed and calm.
“you gonna behave?” you asked lazily, tilting your head.
he huffed, crossing his arms. “why should i, if you’re just gonna sit there looking all smug?”
you raised a brow. “you got something to say, pretty boy?”
he grumbled it more than spoke it—low and under his breath, but loud enough for you to hear.
“fuck yourself.”
your gaze sharpened instantly. his jaw clenched like he regretted it—but only a little.
you didn’t blink. didn’t raise your voice. you just said, with a smile:
“why don’t you fuck yourself?”
he blinked. “wait—what—?”
you were already up. already moving. already pulling the drawer open and letting a thick silicone cock hit the floor at his knees with a dull thud.
“there,” you said simply, sitting back on the bed. “go ahead. fuck yourself since you’re feeling so bold tonight.”
his mouth parted. “you’re serious?”
“dead serious,” you murmured, voice smooth and slow. “let’s see how tough you are when your hole’s stretched and you’re drooling on my floor.”
his ears burned red.
you leaned back again, eyes lazy and lidded, watching the way his breath started to shake.
“don’t keep me waiting, sweetheart.”
his thighs were already shaking when you cupped his cheek and whispered, “you ready?”
he nodded slowly, pupils blown wide, breath caught in his throat. he was on his knees, the dildo suctioned to the floor in front of him, slick and waiting. you sat on the edge of the bed behind him, clothed, calm, and warm—fingers tracing soft shapes down his back as you whispered in his ear.
“go slow, okay? let it stretch you. i want you to feel everything.”
watching him tremble—needy, breathless, already falling apart for you—stirred something softer in you. made you want to be sweet. gentle. made you want to watch him go dumb on that toy, slowly, just for you.
matt swallowed hard, hands bracing on the floor. his skin was flushed, his cock already hard and twitching beneath him, untouched and needy.
the tip of the dildo pressed against him, and he let out a soft, breathy moan.
you leaned in close. “that’s it. breathe through it, baby. you’re doing so good.”
he whimpered when it slid in, inch by inch, face scrunched in overwhelmed pleasure, mouth falling open as his body slowly sank down. your voice was low and steady in his ear the entire time.
“you’re taking it so well. look at you. so pretty like this.”
he let out a quiet, broken whine when the toy bottomed out inside him, his hips trembling, hands clutching the edge of the bed like it was the only thing keeping him grounded.
“feels good, doesn’t it?”
“y-yeah,” he choked out. “feels—so full—”
“ride it for me.”
you didn’t rush him. didn’t bark commands. just let your hand slide down to his thigh, rubbing slow circles as he lifted his hips and sank back down, gasping at the stretch.
“mmm, that’s it. just like that. keep going, baby.”
the pace was slow. drawn-out. every drop of movement earned a soft cry from him, every moan coaxed out by your praises and your touch. his cock hung heavy, leaking onto the floor, untouched—but you saw the way he clenched every time the toy nudged deep inside.
“you feel me?” you whispered against his neck. “feel how good you take me, even when it’s not my cock?”
“yes—yes—feels so good—”
“look at you, riding it all by yourself. you don’t even need me.”
he let out a desperate sound and shook his head. “i do need you—need your voice—need you to tell me i’m—i’m good—”
your hand slid up to his chest, fingertips brushing his racing heart.
“you’re perfect,” you murmured. “so obedient. so pretty when you’re needy.”
he rocked harder now. the sound of skin and soft cries filled the room. you leaned into the crook of his neck, lips brushing the shell of his ear.
“you wanna cum for me?”
he nodded frantically, voice cracking. “please—i wanna cum with it inside—please—”
“then do it, baby. show me how good you can be.”
he only needed that.
his hips stuttered, thighs trembling, and then he was moaning—long and desperate—as he came untouched, cock twitching, painting the floor beneath him in thick spurts as his entire body shook from the release.
you held him close through it, arms wrapping around his chest as he gasped and whimpered, the toy still nestled deep inside him, keeping him full.
“there you go,” you whispered, kissing his shoulder. “you did so good for me. so fucking good.”
he slumped against you, boneless, still softly panting.
“don’t take it out,” he mumbled. “just—just wanna feel you a little longer.”
you smiled against his skin, holding him tighter.
“you can keep it in, baby. stay right here. i’ve got you.”

——Juno In The Signs——
Juno in astrology represents commitment, marriage, and long-term partnerships. Juno in the birth chart reveals how you approach serious relationships, the qualities you seek in a lifelong partner, and what you need to feel secure and fulfilled in commitment. Juno’s sign shows the type of energy you bring into partnerships and what kind of partner you are naturally drawn to!
———————————————————————
Juno in Aries ♈️: Juno in Aries in a birth chart indicates a desire for independence, excitement, and passion in committed relationships. You may be drawn to partners who are bold, assertive, and dynamic, and you value relationships that allow you to maintain your individuality. Commitment for you doesn’t mean losing yourself—it means standing side by side with someone equally strong-willed. You might struggle with impulsiveness or wanting things to move quickly, but you also bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to partnerships. ————
thursday 2:25 pm
the room is enveloped in near-darkness, save for the faint glow of the projector casting moving shadows on the walls, the images dancing faintly before fading into obscurity. a grainy forensics case study plays on the screen, the narrator’s monotone voice threading through the silence like a low hum. images of crime scenes flicker: shoeprints etched into mud, a blood-streaked knife gleaming under harsh light, diagrams of trajectories drawn with meticulous precision. the air is thick with a strange stillness, broken only by the whir of the projector.
you’re seated at a lecture table in the middle of the room, the glossy surface cool against your forearms. your notebook lies open, pages crisp and lined with the neat curves of your handwriting—cornell notes style, each section meticulously labeled. the ballpoint pen you’ve been gripping bears faint smudges of ink, a quiet testament to earlier focus. your belongings are arranged with an almost obsessive precision, each item carefully placed to avoid encroaching on your classmates’ space.
but your mind drifts, untethered, as if caught on the hook of a voice that lingers in the back of your thoughts. a certain caller has been invading the quiet hours of your nights, her words weaving themselves into the fabric of your mind. the way she asks questions—casual but deliberate, coaxing details about your life with a quiet intensity. she tells you about herself too, the cadence of her voice shifting when she delves into stories or spirals into laughter, the kind that leaves you grinning like a fool. sometimes the conversations are light, like skipping stones across water, but often they sink deeper, pulling you both into rabbit holes of thought. and then there’s the flirting—her tone dipping just enough to leave you wondering if it’s intentional or simply her nature. either way, it stirs something in you, a warmth that unfurls in your chest, spreading through your limbs like the first sip of hot tea on a cold morning.
subconsciously, your fingers begin to wag the pen back and forth. the faint tapping against the notebook creates an uneven rhythm, a soft staccato that fills the empty spaces of your wandering mind. the sound is muted, almost soothing—the thwack of plastic meeting paper, the rustle of shifting pages. it’s erratic, mirroring the restless energy simmering beneath your surface, your thoughts leaping from one idea to the next before circling back to her voice.
your eyes stray from the projection, sweeping across the dimly lit room. your classmates sit scattered like statues in varying states of engagement—some scribbling notes with mechanical precision, others half-hidden behind their desks, their faces lit faintly by the glow of their phones. the soft rustle of pages and the occasional stifled yawn add texture to the quiet. your gaze drifts to professor talis, who sits at her desk, bathed in the soft glow of her computer screen. the light highlights the contours of her smooth, golden-brown skin, her curls tumbling gracefully over her shoulders. her thick glasses perch neatly on her nose, catching the faint reflections of the video playing on the board. the snug burgundy sweater she wears looks like it holds warmth, hugging her frame in a way that seems almost comforting.
your attention slides to the clock hanging on the wall, its face faintly illuminated by the dim light. the second hand trudges forward in slow, deliberate ticks, each movement stretching time until it feels infinite. the soft hum of distant chatter blends with the faint scratching of pencils, a quiet symphony of distraction. the pen in your hand wavers, the motion gradually slowing as your focus narrows. the countdown begins—seconds trickling away like grains of sand slipping through your fingers. freedom feels close but distant, just out of reach, and all you can do is wait.
suddenly, the vibrations of your phone ripple through the table, a faint hum cutting through the quiet. a few heads turn toward you, their eyes glinting with muted curiosity in the dim light. the attention feels sharper than it should, and you arch a brow, your head jerking slightly forward in disbelief.
“what?” you mutter under your breath, the word laced with a sharpness you didn’t bother to hide. your gaze flicks to the nearest onlookers, daring them to explain their sudden fascination. it’s not like you’re in middle school—and honestly, have they never heard a phone vibrate before?
ignoring their stares, you reach for the device, its smooth surface cool against your fingertips. unlocking it, you glance at the screen, squinting slightly as the glow cuts through the dimness. one notification stands out, breaking through the shield of your do not disturb focus mode:
1 new email notification from: Maggie Baird
tapping on the alert, you’re directed to the email, the words staring back at you in bold clarity.
hello,
i hope you’re doing well! i just wanted to send a reminder about our appointment today at 2:45. please let me know if you’re still able to stop in or not.
have a great day!
best regards,
maggie baird—guidance counselor
your fingers move automatically, the soft taps of your typing blending into the faint rustle of papers and distant murmurs.
hi!
yes, i will still be stopping by your office today to finish our discussion. see you then.
as you hit send, a voice cuts through the haze of your thoughts, calling your name. your head snaps up, eyes scanning the room for the source. the voice echoes faintly, too soft to pinpoint, and you find yourself searching faces, your gaze darting from one corner to the next. then it happens—an unexpected thud against your cheek, rough paper colliding with your skin. your nose scrunches instinctively as your eyes flutter shut, the crumpled projectile falling to the desk with a dull plop.
turning around, you lock eyes with carson, her expression caught somewhere between disbelief and exasperation. her dark curls frame her face, slightly tousled, her sharp green eyes narrowing as if to say, really?
pushing your chair back, you scoot closer to the table behind you, leaning into the shared space until her whisper reaches your ear. the cool touch of her necklace brushes your skin, a fleeting sensation that sends a shiver down your spine.
“why the fuck was that so hard when i’m right here?” she whisper-shouts, her voice edged with teasing indignation.
“shut up,” you reply, your voice low and tinged with amusement despite yourself. “what do you want?”
carson shakes her head, her grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. the familiarity of the moment settles between you, warm and grounding. memories flicker to life—move-in day, your freshman year, the sterile air of the dorm buzzing with unfamiliarity. you still remember walking into the shared space, anxiety twisting in your stomach, only to find her already there. her stuff was unpacked, books stacked neatly on the desk, posters pinned haphazardly to the walls. she sat cross-legged on her bed, her bright green eyes meeting yours with a warmth that immediately put you at ease.
“hey,” she had said back then, her voice steady and inviting. “welcome home.”
something between you clicked that day, an invisible thread tying you together in a way you never questioned. even now, years later, the bond feels effortless—natural, like it’s always been there. you don’t say it often, maybe not as often as you should, but you’re grateful. her presence is an anchor, a quiet reassurance in a world that so often feels unsteady.
“seriously, though,” she whispers, her grin softening. “you’re so dramatic.”
“you’re the one throwing shit,” you counter, your lips twitching into a smirk.
the moment feels suspended, a pocket of light in the dimness of the room, the weight of everything else temporarily forgotten.
it made sense that she was at school on a basketball scholarship. carson had shown you her highlight reels more times than you could count, pulling them up on her cracked phone screen with that same smug grin she always wore when she knew she’d impressed you. her stats were insane—double-doubles, clutch shots, and a level of confidence that could light up any court she stepped on. she was damn good, and she knew it. but it wasn’t just her skill that kept you showing up to every game—it was the way she played, like every shot, every layup, every defensive steal was a conversation she was having with the universe. it was impossible not to get pulled into her orbit.
since the day you two met, you’d been inseparable. carson’s energy was magnetic, and from the moment she greeted you in that shared dorm room, you knew she’d be the kind of friend you could count on for anything. you became her shadow, and she became yours—whether it was late-night study sessions fueled by vending machine snacks or impromptu karaoke performances in your tiny dorm bathroom. you showed up to every one of her games, screaming your lungs out from the bleachers, your voice blending into the roar of the crowd. it wasn’t long before you decided to join the university’s cheer team, if only to have an excuse to be closer to the action—and closer to her.
but it wasn’t all fun and games. you were there when she tore her ACL sophomore year, the anguish etched across her face as she sat on the bench, the season slipping through her fingers. you’d sat with her in the hospital waiting room, holding her hand while she blinked back tears, offering nothing but your quiet presence. and when things got hard for you—when the weight of school, life, and your own fears felt too heavy—carson was there, cracking jokes, pulling you out of bed, and reminding you that it was okay to stumble as long as you kept going.
“so basically after the banquet tomorrow—”
“—seminar,” you interrupt, the corner of your lips twitching into a smirk.
“whatever, same thing. they both serve free food, do they not?” she scoffs, rolling her eyes with exaggerated flair. “anyways, before you rudely interrupted me, are you going to the thing tomorrow?”
“what thing?” you ask, your curiosity piqued as you shift slightly in your seat.
“do you not check the gc?”
“oh… no. i muted y’all forever ago,” you admit, stifling a laugh and keeping your voice low to avoid disturbing the rest of the class.
“my god,” she groans, dragging the words out like a dramatic sigh. “anyway, they wanna go out tomorrow—to some club or whatever—after we get back from it.”
“um… i’ll let you know,” you say, turning back toward the front of the room. “i’m supposed to meet with my counselor today about some ta thing, so i’m not too sure just yet.”
before she can respond, your attention is drawn back to the projector screen. the narrator’s voice cuts through the background noise, monotone but heavy with implication.
“this pattern of blood spatter indicates a medium-velocity impact, likely from a blunt object. note the size and direction of the droplets.”
the words sink into the stillness of the room, the imagery vivid and clinical. you feel a strange sense of detachment as your eyes flicker between the screen and your notebook. the notes in front of you blur slightly, your thoughts wandering back to carson’s offer, the muted buzz of her words still lingering in your mind.
you pause, underlining a key phrase in your notes, the ink dragging softly against the page. your eyes flick back to the screen, narrowing as you try to absorb the image—splatter lines branching out like veins, chaotic but telling a story if you looked closely enough. you force yourself to focus, blocking out the creeping edges of distraction that threaten to pull you under.
outside, a low rumble of thunder rolls, faint but steady, like a distant warning. someone shifts behind you, their chair letting out a sharp squeak that pierces the silence.
“pause the video.”
the screen freezes on an intricate diagram of blood spatter. the jagged pattern is unsettling in its precision, almost artistic in a morbid way.
professor talis speaks up, her voice cutting through the stillness like a blade. “alright, let’s take a moment. can anyone tell me why this particular pattern rules out a high-velocity impact?”
the room falls into an uneasy quiet, the kind that stretches too long and grows heavy. a few students drop their gazes to their desks, avoiding eye contact like the answer might leap off their notebooks and save them. someone in the back coughs, the sound echoing faintly.
your pen stills in your hand. you know the answer; it’s on the tip of your tongue, almost reflexive. and you know she knows you know it. but the thought of speaking aloud—the weight of all those eyes on you—makes your throat tighten. you drop your gaze to your notebook, hoping the moment passes.
professor talis lets out a soft sigh, laced with disappointment. “no one? fine. look at the size of the droplets. high-velocity impacts—like from a gunshot—create a fine mist. what you’re seeing here is much larger, which tells us—”
“—that it’s medium-velocity, probably from something like a bat or a pipe,” you mutter under your breath, the words escaping before you can stop them.
the professor’s head snaps toward you, her sharp gaze locking onto yours. “exactly. speak up next time, ms. you know this stuff.”
you nod faintly, a flicker of heat rising to your cheeks. you glance at carson, who’s leaning back in her chair with an amused smirk, mouthing the word ‘damn.’ you roll your eyes at her, the corner of your lips twitching.
“alright, class dismissed,” professor talis announces, motioning for someone near the door to flip on the light switch. the room is suddenly bathed in a harsh, sterile glow, and a collective groan ripples through the class as everyone shields their eyes. you squint, blinking repeatedly, trying to adjust as the light burns away the comfortable dimness.
“don’t forget your assignments are due next monday. no excuses,” she continues, her tone firm, no room for negotiation. “you’ll thank me when you’re out there solving cases. also, remember that class is canceled tomorrow, and for those of you attending the seminar, be there no later than 11:00 a.m. sharp. dress in business attire. i’ll email your tickets tonight. have a good rest of your day, and i’ll see some of you tomorrow.”
the room erupts into the familiar chaos of end-of-class. chairs scrape against the floor, bags zip shut, and faint murmurs of conversation fill the space. you shut your notebook with a soft thud, sliding it into your bag. as you reach for your phone, the screen lights up with a notification: final notice: payment overdue.
your stomach twists, a sharp pang cutting through you, but you swipe the notification away quickly, jaw tightening. you pull on your zip-up jacket, the hood going over your head almost instinctively, a flimsy barrier against the world. slinging your bag over your shoulder, you make your way down the lecture stairs, your sneakers scuffing lightly against the floor.
as you push open the heavy door, the rumble of thunder outside greets you again, this time closer, louder, like a promise waiting to unfold.
you push open the heavy door of the building, stepping into the dimly lit hallway, your hood falling as you cross the threshold. the rain that had soaked through your jacket still clings to you, a cold, damp reminder of the storm outside. you glance down, swiping your shoes against the coarse floor mat, the sound scratching faintly against the quiet. the hallways stretch out before you, dim and hushed, the flicker of old fluorescent lights overhead casting a muted glow. the rain outside drums steadily against the roof and windows, the rhythm echoing down the empty corridors like a distant heartbeat.
your sneakers squeak softly with each step as you navigate the polished floors, leaving faint wet prints in your wake. the air smells faintly of books and wood polish, mingling with the crisp, metallic tang of rain. as you approach the office, warm light spills into the hallway from the narrow opening of the door, a soft beacon in the otherwise subdued space.
you pause, lifting your hand to knock lightly against the wood, the sound barely audible over the rain outside.
“come on in!”
the voice is cheerful, familiar. pushing the door open, you step inside.
maggie sits behind her desk, her silver hair pulled into a loose bun, strands escaping to frame her kind, lined face. the desk is cluttered with papers, framed photos, and a half-empty mug of coffee, the scent faintly mingling with the room’s warmth. she looks up as you enter, her smile bright and inviting.
“ah, just the person i wanted to see. please, sit down.”
you ease into the chair across from her, the worn leather creaking slightly under your weight. “thanks for seeing me on such short notice.”
she waves a hand dismissively, leaning back in her chair. “you’re fine. i heard you’re looking for a teacher’s assistant position?”
“yeah,” you say, adjusting your bag on your lap. “something flexible, if possible. my schedule’s already packed, but i really need the extra money.”
maggie hums thoughtfully, her fingers tapping lightly on the keyboard as she scrolls through files on her screen. “well, i think i have something that might work. the music department is looking for a t.a. it’s mostly administrative—grading papers, organizing lesson plans. nothing too heavy.”
your brows furrow slightly at the mention of music, a faint unease creeping in. “music? i’m a forensics major.”
maggie lets out a soft laugh, her eyes crinkling. “relax. you don’t need to be a musical prodigy. besides, the professor is great. my daughter, actually.”
you blink, her words catching you off guard. “your…daughter?”
she nods, the pride evident in her smile. “yeah. billie eilish—well, i guess she goes by professor o’connell now. now listen, she’s a bit unconventional, but she’s brilliant and easy to work with. i think you’ll like her.”
your thoughts race, uncertainty tugging at you, but you nod slowly, chewing the inside of your cheek. “well…i mean, if you’re sure…”
“i am,” she says confidently, leaning forward. “trust me, you’ll be fine. she’s expecting you in, oh, about ten minutes.”
maggie scoots her chair back, bending slightly to pull open a drawer. she rummages for a moment before withdrawing a manila folder, sliding it across the desk toward you. “here are all the details of the position. you’ll go over them with billie and make any changes where you see fit. just remember to keep an open mind. and don’t be late—billie’s not a fan of tardiness.”
you take the folder, the paper cool and smooth beneath your fingertips, and slip it into your bag. “thank you so much, maggie.”
“anytime, sweetheart. good luck.”
you offer a small smile before stepping back into the hallway, the warmth of the office fading as the cool air of the corridor greets you.
wandering through the halls, your eyes scan the doors, searching for the name. the polished brass plaque catches your attention, glinting faintly under the dull light: o’connell. the name sits bold and formal in black lettering, an unassuming prelude to whatever waits behind the door.
you hesitate for a moment, fingers brushing over the strap of your bag, before finally reaching for the handle.
you take a deep breath, the cool air of the hallway settling in your lungs before you raise your hand to knock. the sound echoes faintly in the quiet, the weight of anticipation tightening in your chest.
“come in,” her voice calls out, smooth and measured, carrying an edge of curiosity. your stomach flips as you push the door open, stepping inside.
she stands at the front of the room, her back partially turned as she writes on the whiteboard, her movements fluid and precise. a black pen is tucked behind her ear, and a neat stack of sheet music rests on the table beside her. the room feels alive despite its simplicity—soft natural light pours in through tall windows, painting golden streaks across the floor. a piano sits in the far corner, its polished surface reflecting the greenery of several plants scattered throughout the space.
then she looks up.
blue eyes meet yours, bright and clear, framed by gold-rimmed glasses perched on her nose. her gaze is steady, assessing, but there’s warmth there too—a smile softens her expression as if she’s welcoming you into her orbit. “hello. you must be the new t.a.”
your tongue feels thick in your mouth as you nod, your voice barely audible. “yeah. that’s me.”
it hits you like a tidal wave—her voice. it’s her. you freeze, the realization flooding through you in a dizzying rush. she doesn’t seem to recognize you, doesn’t give even the faintest indication that your paths have crossed before, but that only makes it stranger. surreal, almost, to stand here in front of her.
you’d always wondered what she looked like, your mind crafting endless versions of her face over the past weeks to fill the blank spaces in your memory. but nothing—nothing—could have prepared you for this.
she’s beautiful in a way that words can’t quite hold, like trying to capture sunlight in your hands. her oversized tan button-up hangs loosely on her frame, paired with dark wash jeans that sit low on her hips, the fabric pooling slightly around her ankles. her hair falls in soft, dark brown waves down her back, glinting faintly in the sunlight. she’s both effortless and breathtaking, a contradiction you can’t help but admire.
and her eyes—sharp, yet gentle—trail over you, taking in every detail. they seem to glow, crystalline and piercing, cutting through your casual exterior. suddenly, you’re hyper-aware of your own appearance, of the worn sweater and faded jeans you’d thrown on without a second thought. you feel exposed, wishing you’d cared a little more about how you looked.
“have a seat,” she says, gesturing to the chair in front of her desk as she moves to sit down. her voice is soft, but there’s a firmness to it that tells you she’s used to being listened to.
you slide into the chair, your movements careful, and pull the folder from your bag. placing it on the desk, you watch as she flips it open, her fingers brushing lightly against the papers. the motion draws your attention to the ink scrawled across the back of her hand—delicate lines of black, faint smudges at the edges, as if she’d been too focused to stop and wash it off.
as she begins to explain your responsibilities, you try to focus on her words, but your eyes betray you. they wander over her face, lingering on her lips. they’re full and soft, a natural pink like the petals of a plumeria flower, and you can’t help but wonder what they might feel like against your own. the thought startles you, heat creeping up your neck.
her voice cuts through your spiraling thoughts, pulling you back to reality. “is everything okay?” she asks, her brows knitting together in light concern.
you blink, shaking off the haze. “yeah, sorry about that. can you repeat that?” you force a small, nervous laugh, rubbing your palms against the rough fabric of your jeans before leaning in slightly, hoping to seem more attentive.
she doesn’t answer immediately. instead, she watches you, her fingers idly tracing the edges of the papers in the folder. her head tilts to the side, the movement subtle but thoughtful, her gaze narrowing slightly.
her tongue darts out briefly to wet her bottom lip before she pulls it in, biting gently on the skin as if she’s considering something. the moment feels heavier than it should, the silence stretching thin between you. you shift under her gaze, the weight of it pressing into you, as if she’s trying to read something just beneath the surface.
“what?” your brows knit together as confusion flashes across your face, your eyes darting around the room in search of some unseen answer.
“nothing,” she huffs softly, amusement laced in her tone, though her gaze remains sharp. she leans forward, closing the distance slightly, her arms resting on the desk. her presence is magnetic, drawing you in even as her words send a ripple of unease through your chest. “i’m just wondering… do i know you from somewhere?”
you freeze, the air seeming to still around you. her question hits you like a sudden drop, the ground vanishing beneath your feet. a chill skates down your spine, and for a moment, you forget how to breathe. you inhale sharply through your nose, forcing yourself to collect the fragments of your composure. your voice feels foreign when it finally escapes, a careful balance between indifference and denial.
“no, i don’t think you do. i’m sorry.”
silence unfurls in the space between you, thick and palpable. billie doesn’t move, her blue eyes narrowing slightly as they search yours. there’s a quiet intensity in the way she looks at you, as though she’s trying to piece together a memory just out of reach. her lashes frame her gaze, softening its sharpness, but the weight of it is almost too much to bear.
her eyes shift, slow and deliberate, tracing the curve of your jaw, the slope of your neck. they linger there for a moment too long, and you can feel the heat rising to your cheeks. then, like a current, her gaze flows down your arm, pausing briefly as if something there caught her attention. her movements are so fluid, so unassuming, you barely register them before she straightens, her focus shifting back to the file in front of her.
“hm… well then,” she murmurs, her tone light but her expression unreadable. she leans back in her chair, the black leather creaking softly beneath her. a beat passes, the air taut with unspoken tension, before she continues. “does every monday, wednesday, and friday at five pm work for you?”
you nod quickly, your movements stiff and mechanical, and she doesn’t press further.
she begins listing your responsibilities, her voice smooth and measured as she explains your duties. you force yourself to focus on her words, but it’s a losing battle. your responses are clipped, your gaze fixed firmly on the desk in front of you. if you keep it brief, keep it distant, maybe she won’t look too closely. maybe she won’t connect the threads dangling between you.
by the time the meeting wraps up, your nerves are frayed, each passing second an exercise in restraint. billie leans forward again, extending a hand across the desk. “looking forward to working with you.”
for a moment, you just stare at her hand, your heart pounding in your ears. then, slowly, you reach out, your fingers meeting hers. her hand is warm, her skin smooth but not without the rough edges of callouses. the contrast between your hands strikes you—her strength tempered by an understated softness, your own fingers trembling slightly as you fight to maintain control.
her thumb brushes lightly against your knuckles, whether intentional or not, and the contact sends a jolt through you. goosebumps rise along her arm where your nails graze her skin, the faint gleam of your top coat catching the light.
“thank you,” you mumble, your voice barely audible. you pull your hand back quickly, tucking it close to your side like it might betray you.
with a hurried goodbye, you slip out of the room, your chest tight and your thoughts in chaos. the hallway feels too quiet, the walls pressing in as you all but sprint away. each step echoes, a reminder of what you’ve left behind and the weight of what you can’t seem to outrun.
back in your apartment, billie’s voice lingers like a song you can’t get out of your head, looping endlessly in your mind. you toss your bag onto the couch and make your way to the bathroom, craving the solitude and stillness that only a hot shower can bring.
you tie your hair back loosely, fingers trembling slightly as you strip off your clothes. stepping into the steam, the water cascades over your skin, scalding but grounding, a sharp contrast to the chaos in your chest. the scent of your lavender body wash fills the air, soft and calming, like a fleeting embrace in the midst of a storm. you close your eyes and focus on the sound of the droplets hitting the tiles, willing the tension in your shoulders to dissolve, willing your nerves to spiral down the drain along with the suds.
after a few long moments, you twist the knob, and the water stops, leaving behind silence and steam. wrapping yourself in a towel, you step out, the cool air prickling against your damp skin. you move to your bedroom, the ritual of moisturizing your skin a temporary comfort. your favorite lotion, thick and sweet like vanilla and brown sugar, lingers on your fingertips as you rub it into your arms and legs.
the clock on your nightstand glows 3:47 in vivid red, mocking you with the hours left until your hotline shift begins. you sigh, pulling on a pair of soft, worn pajamas, their familiarity soothing. the silence presses against your ears, heavy and unrelenting, so you turn on your tv, letting the hum of your favorite show fill the void. but even with the characters’ voices playing in the background, your thoughts are loud, relentless.
you drag yourself into the bathroom to begin your hair routine. from under the sink, you gather your tools: the flat iron, heat protectant, parting comb, rollers, and duck clips. the motions are automatic, practiced, almost meditative.
your thumb brushes against the flat iron’s switch, flicking it on. the red light blinks steadily as it warms up. you spray heat protectant onto your hair, the mist clinging to the strands, giving them a subtle sheen. when the iron’s light turns green, you pick it up and run it carefully down each section of hair. the heat transforms your coils into glossy, silken strands, the steam curling in the air like whispered secrets. you follow each pass with your comb before rolling the ends of your hair up to the roots and clipping them in place with a metallic duck clip.
the process repeats, your hands moving on autopilot, but your mind drifts elsewhere. you replay the meeting over and over, analyzing every glance, every word. the way her eyes lingered on you, searching for something just out of reach. does she know? or is this all some cruel coincidence?
your alarm buzzes sharply, jolting you from your thoughts. the clock now blares 6:20. you finish the last section of your hair, securing the roller in place, before turning off the alarm. as you set the flat iron down, another sound cuts through the room—the sharp trill of the phone. it’s the hotline.
your stomach flips as you hesitate, staring at the flashing light. finally, you take a deep breath, slip on your headset, and settle into the familiar rhythm of your persona.
thursday 6:32 pm — incoming call from +1 (310) 807-3956 (los angeles, california)
“hello, and thank you for calling the pulse network. this is star speaking.”
“star,” billie’s voice flows through the receiver, warm and honey-smooth. “how’s my favorite voice tonight?”
your heart clenches. it’s always like this when she calls, the way her voice sinks into your skin and leaves you aching for more.
“i’m good,” you reply, fighting to keep your tone steady. “you?”
“exhausted,” she admits, a soft chuckle following her words. “it’s been a day. i just got a new t.a., which i’m so grateful for, but she was so quiet. i think i scared her off.”
your breath catches in your throat, and for a moment, you can’t speak. she’s talking about me.
“maybe she’s just shy,” you manage, your voice careful, measured.
the conversation flows, her voice a melody you know too well. she talks about her day, her words curling around you like smoke, hazy and intoxicating. you fall into the rhythm of your usual calls, her laughter tugging a small smile from your lips despite the weight in your chest.
when you mention your new nails, she perks up, her tone playful and teasing.
“tell me everything. what color? shape? i need details, star.”
her curiosity pulls you in, her warmth easing the tension in your shoulders just enough to let you breathe. for a moment, it feels normal—like it always has, like she’s just a voice on the other end of the line. but beneath the surface, you can feel the cracks forming, the weight of your secret threatening to shatter everything.
“baby?” she calls out, her voice soft, low, and dripping with a kind of warmth that sends a shiver down your spine.
the little nickname stirs something in you, a flutter of wings in the pit of your stomach, delicate and chaotic.
“hm?” you hum, your tone nonchalant, though your pulse skips just slightly.
“i’ve always wondered if you had any tattoos or anything.”
her question catches you off guard, and you smile faintly, letting out a soft breath as you lean back in your chair.
“yeah, i have a couple.”
“oh? where?”
her tone shifts—curious but edged with something playful. it pulls a light laugh from you, your fingers idly tracing the edge of your desk.
“um… i have one on my spine, another in the middle of my boobs, like, on my sternum. there’s a few others, but i always forget about them. they’re mostly in places you can’t really see unless… you know.”
“unless what?” her voice takes on a teasing lilt, and you can hear the smirk tugging at her lips, even through the line.
your own lips curl as you lean forward slightly, your tone dipping into something slower, smoother, deliberate.
“unless i’m having sex or something”
the words hang in the air, heavy and electric. you hear her breath hitch faintly before she responds, her voice low, sultry, matching your energy effortlessly.
“just might have to take you up on that offer.”
your side of the line goes quiet for a beat, her words lingering in your head like smoke. you swallow hard, the heat blooming in your chest spreading lower. ever since this afternoon, your thoughts have been consumed by her. seeing her for the first time—her sharp blue eyes, the casual confidence in the way she moved—was enough to get your mind reeling and your body betraying you in ways you hadn’t expected.
you sigh softly, the sound escaping without permission, and lean back in your chair.
“you okay over there?” her voice breaks through your haze, tinged with genuine concern.
“yeah,” you say quickly, then pivot. “do you have any tattoos?”
“just six,” she says, her tone easing back into its usual calm rhythm. “not a lot. i have a back tattoo, one on my hip, two on my thigh, one on my sternum, and then everyone’s favorite—the one on my hand.”
she describes them casually, but her voice is warm, soft around the edges, and it paints vivid images in your mind. your thoughts immediately flash to the tattoo on her hand. you’d seen it earlier, the intricate details trailing over her skin. it had you thinking thoughts you shouldn’t, imagining her hands tracing over your body, exploring every sacred inch of you.
a low sound escapes your throat—something between a groan and a hum—and you don’t even realize it until the silence stretches between you.
“what was that?” her voice is teasing now, a quiet laugh slipping through, and you feel your cheeks heat up.
“nothing,” you murmur, shifting in your seat. as you adjust, your elbow brushes against the desk, and the edge presses uncomfortably into your chest. a sharp pain shoots through you as it hits your nipple piercing, and you wince, sucking in a breath.
“what’s going on over there?” she asks, half-laughing, half-curious.
“nothing,” you say again, trying to brush it off, though your voice is tight. you bite your lip, squeezing your eyes shut as the sting subsides, but your thoughts remain tangled in her—her voice, her hands, her presence.
this is dangerous, you think. and yet, you can’t seem to pull yourself away.
“i just bruised my fucking piercing.”
“what piercing?” her voice perks up, curiosity spilling through the line. there’s something in her tone—teasing, intrigued—that makes your stomach twist, heat curling under your skin.
you hesitate for a moment, then let it slip. “this damn nipple piercing. don’t even know why i got it.”
you didn’t, really. it was one of those impulsive decisions—your freshman year of college, sitting cross-legged on your dorm bed while your ex convinced you it’d be fun and cute. you remember the way she had grinned, her enthusiasm contagious, and before you knew it, you were booking an appointment. carson came with you, holding your hand and laughing the entire time, but she didn’t stop you either.
“you’re full of surprises, star,” billie says, a soft laugh weaving into her words. it’s a laugh that warms you, but it also disarms you, makes you feel more exposed than you intended. “but seriously, take care of yourself. that sounds painful.”
her concern lingers in the air, brushing against you in a way that feels intimate, like a hand on your shoulder or the press of her fingers tracing over your skin. you shift in your chair, biting your lip as her words replay in your mind.
“and how do you suggest i do that?” the question leaves your mouth before you can catch it, hanging there like a thread pulled loose.
there’s a pause on the line, just long enough for your heart to stutter, and then she speaks. her voice drops, soft and deliberate.
“do you trust me?”
your throat tightens, and you nod instinctively, even though she can’t see you. “yeah.”
your voice is quiet, a little unsteady, but honest. and in that moment, the walls of your room feel smaller, the distance between you and billie shrinking with every word exchanged.
“i’mma need you to say it, babe.”
her voice is steady, low, and commanding, the kind of tone that roots itself in your chest and refuses to let go. even though she isn’t physically there, you feel her presence like a weight, tangible and pressing. the air around you thickens, charged with an unspoken tension.
you hesitate, your pulse thrumming wildly against your throat. “i—” the words catch, sticking to your tongue. then you swallow hard and try again. “i trust you, billie.”
“just wanna help you out, okay?”
there’s a softness in her words now, a reassurance that wraps around you like a warm blanket. you nod before realizing she can’t see you. “okay.”
“good. what are you wearing?”
her question catches you off guard, even though deep down you already sensed where this was headed. your fingers toy with the edge of your desk, and your heart kicks up a notch.
“just a t-shirt and some sleep shorts.”
the admission feels simple enough, but the way her pause lingers on the line makes your skin prickle with anticipation.
“can you lift your shirt for me?”
her words come out smooth, velvet-coated, and they sink into you like the slow pull of a tide. the apprehension you’ve been holding onto tightens, coiling low in your belly. but there’s something magnetic in her voice, something that compels you to follow.
“mhm.” your response is soft, barely audible, but you know she hears it.
your hands find the hem of your shirt, your fingers grazing the fabric. the motion is slow, deliberate, like the weight of her voice has made everything else move in molasses. you pull the shirt over your head, the cool air hitting your skin in contrast to the heat that’s creeping up your neck and chest. carefully, you fold it, laying it down on the desk beside you like it’s something sacred.
the room feels quieter now, more intimate somehow. the faint hum of the tv in the background, the occasional creak of the apartment settling—all of it fades as you wait for her voice to return.
“now i want you to rub your tits for me, be nice and gentle to them. touch your nipples and tell me what kind of jewelry you got, baby.”
her voice is like a current, slow and unrelenting, pulling you into its depths. your body responds before your mind catches up, your hands moving instinctively to the soft curve of your chest.
your fingers skim along your skin, warm and pliant, before you focus on the sensitive peaks. a sharp inhale escapes your lips as your fingertips brush over the hardened buds, the sensation sending a shiver down your spine. you tease yourself, tugging lightly, your movements deliberate yet tender.
“they’re, um—” your breath hitches, the words tumbling out unsteady. “they’re hearts, silver diamond hearts.”
you let the image sink in, your hands still working against your skin, and it feels like you’re teetering on the edge of something unspoken.
“mm—i just know they’re so pretty, how does it feel?”
her voice is low, almost a whisper, and yet it feels like it’s wrapped around you, coaxing you to give in.
“feels good, billie.” your voice is barely audible, your words coming out in a soft, breathless rush.
“i know it does, mama.”
the way she says it, smooth and confident, sends a warm flush through your body. it’s intimate, intoxicating, the kind of connection that feels like it exists in its own universe.
your hands falter slightly, your touch growing lighter as you bask in the way her words linger. the heat building under your skin seems to sync with the cadence of her voice, every syllable pressing against you like a soft, unseen touch.
you let out a quiet sigh, feeling the tension ebb and flow like waves against the shore, and for a moment, everything else fades away.
before you know it, her voice shifts, becoming softer, more intimate, like a low hum in the quiet night. her words settle over you, warm and heavy, weaving a haze you can’t escape—not that you want to. the rhythm of her voice is hypnotic, each syllable pulling you deeper into the moment, blurring the edges of your thoughts.
you let your head rest against the cool wood of your desk, eyes fluttering shut as her tone wraps around you like a secret only the two of you share.
billie’s breath hitches on her end of the line. the image of you—at your desk, bare skin glowing in the dim light, your hands exploring what she so desperately wishes she could—floods her mind. it consumes her, making her ache with a longing she’s unprepared for. her free hand trails absentmindedly to her chest, pressing lightly against her own skin as her voice dips lower.
“now i want you to touch the most sensitive parts of yourself,” she murmurs, the words rolling off her tongue like honey. “your lips, your neck. go slow, baby, there’s no rush.”
“okay,” you whisper, your voice barely audible, caught between hesitation and desire.
you start at your lips, your thumb brushing over the softness, tracing their shape as if committing them to memory. the sensation is subtle but electric, and you can’t help but imagine her doing the same—her hands, her mouth, leaving trails of warmth across your skin.
your fingers drift downward, grazing the curve of your neck, lingering where your pulse flutters beneath your skin. your breath catches as you press lightly, letting the heat of the moment seep into every nerve.
you let your hands travel further, down to the valley of your chest, the softness of your skin against your fingertips grounding you even as it sets you alight. every motion feels deliberate, each touch sending ripples of warmth through you. your fingers tease the edge of your waistband, a small gasp escaping your lips as you hover there, caught between restraint and surrender.
“you’re doing so good, mama,” billie murmurs, her voice rough around the edges now, her own breathing heavier than before. “how does it feel?”
you hesitate, swallowing hard before replying. “it feels—good. it feels so good.”
her voice comes again, softer, more urgent, like she’s right there, close enough to touch. “keep going for me, yeah? take your time.”
her words push you forward, her presence on the line the only tether you need. it’s electric, raw, and completely hers.
“take off your panties for me, love.”
her words wrap around you like a velvet ribbon, smooth and enticing, tugging at something deep within you. your teeth catch your bottom lip, nerves and anticipation tangling into one as her voice lingers in your ear, low and commanding.
“oh, well, you see, i’m not wearing…any.”
you pause, letting the words hang in the air, the silence heavy with implication.
“oh?” her response is slow, deliberate, and laced with a smirk you can practically hear. “that makes everything easier then. go ahead and slide your shorts off for me.”
your hands tremble slightly as you hook your thumbs into the waistband of your shorts. you peel the fabric away from your skin, the motion slow, deliberate, almost reverent. the dampness at the center is undeniable, the evidence of your arousal making your cheeks flush. you’re thankful for the black fabric, a small mercy in an otherwise vulnerable moment.
as the shorts fall away, the cool air in the room caresses your exposed skin, sending a shiver through you. it’s like the atmosphere itself is alive, charged with the tension billie’s voice weaves around you.
“are they off?” her voice is soft but insistent, each word settling deep into your core.
“yeah, yes, they’re off,” you exhale, the words barely audible, your breath catching as you shift slightly in your chair. the air presses against your skin, the sensitivity almost too much.
“look at you,” she murmurs, her tone dripping with praise. “being such a good girl for me.”
her words hit you like a warm rush, the praise melting into your chest and pooling low in your belly. a soft moan escapes your lips before you can stop it, the sound vulnerable and raw.
the line crackles with a silence that feels anything but empty, the connection between you tangible even through the phone. it’s as if she’s right there with you, her presence wrapping around you, guiding you, pulling you closer to a kind of surrender you hadn’t anticipated.
“i want you to slowly feel the skin on your legs. stroke your inner thighs, tease yourself a little,” she whispers, her voice like silk unraveling across your skin.
you don’t hesitate, your hands gliding downward, fingers skimming over the smooth expanse of your thighs. the touch is light, tentative, as if testing the waters of your own restraint. goosebumps ripple in the wake of your movements, the coolness of the air mixing with the warmth pooling inside you.
your breath comes out uneven, a shaky exhale that echoes in the quiet room. the ache low in your stomach intensifies, spreading like a slow burn, and you can’t help but press your thighs together for even the smallest semblance of relief.
“like this?” your voice is soft, barely above a whisper, but the need in it is unmistakable.
“just like that,” billie purrs, her tone soothing yet commanding, each word pushing you further into the haze she’s crafted. “take your time. let your fingers linger. don’t rush it, love.”
your hands obey without thought, fingertips trailing along the sensitive skin of your inner thighs. the sensation is electric, every nerve ending alive and sparking under your touch. you let your fingers wander, brushing higher, closer, teasing yourself with a deliberate slowness that borders on torture.
the tension in your body coils tighter with every passing second, and a small whimper escapes your lips. it feels as though the distance between you and billie is nonexistent, her presence palpable even through the thin crackle of the phone line.
“you feel good, don’t you?” her voice dips lower, rich and smoky. “i bet you’re dripping for me already.”
her words make you gasp softly, your body arching involuntarily as her confidence washes over you. she knows exactly what she’s doing, her tone laced with equal parts encouragement and command, pulling you deeper into the moment.
your fingers falter for a second, trembling as the ache inside you becomes almost unbearable. you bite your lip, the metallic taste grounding you briefly as your mind swims in the intoxicating warmth of her guidance.
“god, i wish i could see you right now. i know you look so good, thighs spread apart, pussy all glistening and wet— all because of me.”
her voice is molten, dripping with desire, and it feels like it wraps around you, constricting and coaxing you all at once. her words settle low in your stomach, feeding the fire that’s been building steadily, threatening to consume you.
“billie, please…” the plea escapes your lips in a shaky breath, barely audible, as your body trembles under the weight of her voice.
“want me to fuck you?” she asks, her tone soft yet firm, a tease wrapped in promise.
“mhm.” the sound is a desperate whimper, raw and unfiltered, and your nails dig into the sensitive flesh of your inner thighs, an attempt to anchor yourself as your mind spirals deeper into the heat of her words.
the room feels smaller, the air heavier. every sound, every creak of the chair, every whisper of breath feels amplified, blending into the symphony of your need. your thighs ache from the tension, the pressure of your own touch almost unbearable as your body responds to her commands.
you can picture her smirk on the other end of the line, that knowing, cocky curve of her lips, and it sends a shiver racing down your spine. it’s maddening how her presence can fill a space she isn’t even in, how her voice alone can undo you piece by piece.
“good girl,” she murmurs, her praise sending a jolt through your chest, straight to the core of you. “keep going, don’t stop now. i want to hear all those pretty little sounds you make.”
her words feel like a tether and a push all at once, keeping you grounded even as they push you further out of control. your breath hitches, a quiet moan slipping past your lips, your body moving instinctively, chasing the release she’s guiding you toward.
the way she says ‘good girl’ loops in your mind, a mantra that fuels every movement of your hands, every desperate whimper that escapes your lips. the ache inside you grows sharper, an unbearable tension building and building, and all you can think about is her.
“shit- go ahead and touch yourself baby, wanna hear how wet you are.”
taking your index and your middle finger, you spread your folds apart, before you dip your middle finger to touch your slit. coating your finger in your salivating ecstasy, you swipe up and down on your pussy. the sound of your slick wetness echoing throughout the room. touching your bundle of nerves your rub it in circle motions, pushing down on it just slightly to get the right amount of friction.
billie closed her eyes and tries to steady her breathing as she hears you on the other end, practically begging her to fuck you. and she wish she could do it too, take her time with you to touch you properly and to make you come undone as many times as she wanted to.
“oh my, fuck babe.” a string of curse words slips from billie’s lips, and you can feel her breath hitch through the line. there’s something about hearing her react that sends a shiver down your spine, and you can tell that the sound of your moans and the atmosphere in the room have her completely captivated. every sound you make, every little shift, she’s there with you in it, even if it’s through the phone.
billie shifts, her voice quieter now, like she’s trying to keep herself steady. “i want to feel you so bad… but for now, this will have to do,” she murmurs, her words trailing off with longing. lying on her bed she sat up against her head board, shoving her hands down her sweats and playing with her own clit, the pads of her pointer and middle finger gently rub steady, figure 8's against her nub as she tried to match your pace.
you imagine her lying back, the soft glow of her room casting faint shadows, just the sound of her voice filling the space. you know she’s doing the same thing you are — wanting to be closer, but for now, savoring the distance in the only way she can.
your eyes squeeze shut at the thought, the image of billie crystal clear in your mind. she’s on her knees, her lips slightly parted, her tongue teasing and deliberate. her thumb would press against your most sensitive spot, slow circles coaxing pleasure from you as her eyes stay fixed on yours, sharp and unwavering, like she’s committing every flicker of your expression to memory. you’d tangle your fingers in her soft hair, pulling her closer, feeling the heat of her breath against your skin, every moment searing itself into your mind.
a low moan slips past your lips, involuntary and raw, as you shift in place, letting the image take over. the ache inside you grows, pressing against the edges of your composure, and you can’t help but imagine how her touch would feel—how every word she’s murmured would finally come to life under her fingertips.
“you’re so perfect,” billie’s voice hums through the speaker, her tone soft but rough around the edges, laced with the kind of restraint that makes your heart pound harder. “keep going, baby. let me hear you.”
her own breathing hitches slightly on the other end, breaking the rhythm of her steady voice. it’s as if she’s right there with you, matching the pace, letting the connection between you stretch taut like a thread pulled to its breaking point. the sound of her—soft curses under her breath, the quiet rasp of her voice—sends shivers along your skin, and it’s almost too much.
the room feels charged, the air thick with a tension you can’t name but don’t want to escape from. every word she says pulls you deeper, every second on the line feels like a lifetime wrapped in her presence, and for now, that’s enough.
“holy shit. you sound so fucking good for me. so fucking perfect.”
her words spill through the phone, low and gravelly, threading through the quiet of your room. each syllable feels like a caress against your skin, pulling you deeper into the moment, and your fingers obey without hesitation, working in rhythm with her praise.
“feels so good, billie, fuck. you feel so good.” the words tumble out of you, shaky and raw, your voice catching on the edges of your breath.
“wish i was there so i could help you, baby.”
it’s then you notice it—her breathing, uneven and rushed, broken by faint, muffled sounds. you hadn’t really picked up on it before, but now it’s all you can focus on. the soft, rhythmic moans slipping through the line, the faint wet sounds beneath her breath, as if she’s right there with you, mirroring your every movement.
your chest tightens at the thought, a spark of heat running through you. the ache builds, sharp and unrelenting, driving your fingers to move faster, each motion more desperate than the last. the air around you feels heavy, charged with anticipation, and every inhale is shallow, quick, feeding the fire that billie’s voice has set ablaze.
“oh baby, billie—i’m gonna—please—just—fuck,” you whine, your voice breaking with the force of it all, your words spilling over each other in a rush. they don’t make sense, but nothing does in this moment except the way she makes you feel.
“that’s it, baby,” her voice trembles, heavy with want and barely contained restraint. “let go for me, love.”
and that was it. the sharp edge of release tore through you, pulling a low, penetrating moan from your lips. your body trembled as waves of heat rolled over you, your fingers working instinctively to draw out every last ounce of pleasure. billie’s name fell from your mouth like a prayer, soft yet desperate, as you made a mess of yourself, utterly unraveled.
your chest heaved, the rise and fall rapid as you tried to steady your breath. the world around you felt hazy, distant, like everything had faded into the background except for the sound of her voice spilling through the line.
“good job, baby, you did so good for me,” she murmured, her tone soft and full of pride. on the other end, you could hear her breathing too, uneven and ragged, her words laced with the remnants of her own high. her praise wrapped around you like a warm blanket, grounding you, until—
she says your name. not just your name but the one that feels heavy, official. the one you thought she didn’t know. it rolls off her tongue like it belongs there, smooth and deliberate, shattering the fragile bubble you’d built between the two of you.
your heart stops. your breath catches. a chill races up your spine. “what did you just say?”
silence follows, thick and suffocating, stretching out like a chasm between you.
“nothing,” she quips, too quickly, the edge of something unreadable in her voice.
your tone sharpens, cutting through the quiet. “billie.” it’s a warning, low and steady, but laced with an undercurrent of unease.
her next words are quiet, almost hesitant, yet certain in a way that makes the floor feel like it’s slipping out from under you.
“i know it’s you.”
the world tilts, panic surging in your chest like a tidal wave. heat floods your face, and suddenly the room feels too small, too suffocating. “i—i have to go,” you stammer, the words spilling from your lips without thought. with shaking hands, you rip the headset off, your pulse thundering in your ears as you end the call.
the silence that follows is deafening, but your heart continues to pound, the realization settling over you like a weight.
you sit there, frozen, staring blankly at the wall as your mind races in a chaotic loop. how could she know? what does this mean? the questions tumble over each other, relentless, leaving no room for answers. leaning back in your chair, your eyes dart around the room, searching for anything to ground you, but instead, they land on the vanity mirror across from you.
your breath catches. there it is. that damn butterfly tattoo etched delicately behind your ear, its wings trailing faintly onto the side of your neck—a design you often forget about until moments like this. the same tattoo she had been staring at earlier today, her gaze lingering just a beat too long.
with an aggravated huff, you reach out and spin the mirror around, unable to look at it any longer. the sight feels accusatory now, a reminder of your slip, your vulnerability. you shove the chair back with a screech and hurry to the bathroom, the need to cleanse yourself and your space overwhelming. the cool water against your skin is sharp, but it doesn’t quiet your spiraling thoughts.
as you clean the chair and pull your clothes back on, the fog in your mind thickens. panic churns in your chest, mingling with an odd cocktail of shame and unease. you know she didn’t mean to make you feel this way, but the weight of it lingers all the same.
then, your phone buzzes, yanking you from the haze. the screen lights up with another call, but your focus is fractured. with trembling fingers, you force yourself to answer, masking your nerves with the practiced ease of someone who knows how to play their role.
meanwhile, across the city, billie is pacing her room, her hands raking through her hair, disheveling the strands until they’re as chaotic as her thoughts. she knows she’s messed up—badly—and the regret is gnawing at her. she grabs her phone and dials the hotline again, but there’s no answer, only an echoing silence that fuels her desperation.
unable to sit with her guilt, she opens the app and sends a payment—your expected earnings for the session she interrupted, plus a tip. the amount is significant, but it feels insignificant compared to the words she can’t seem to say. she types out a brief note to accompany it: “i’m sorry. can we talk tomorrow?” her finger hovers over the send button before she taps it, watching the transaction disappear into the void.
you, however, keep moving through the night, each call leaving you feeling more drained than the last. panic still lingers in the corners of your mind, intertwined with the sting of dejection and the unsettling sense of vulnerability. though you remind yourself that her intentions weren’t malicious, the leftover shock clings stubbornly, refusing to fade.
finally, after what feels like an eternity, you decide you’ve made enough for the night. with an exhausted sigh, you shut down the hotline, the weight of the day pressing heavily on your shoulders. the room falls into darkness as you flick off the lights, retreating to your bed and mindlessly flipping through channels, hoping for distraction.
but then, the soft chime of your phone breaks the silence.

your eyes skim over the notifications, your attention halting at the first one. you know it’s her. your chest tightens, a mix of gratitude and hesitation washing over you. the tip is generous, overly so, but you can’t bring yourself to reply. not now.
with a sigh, you lock your phone and set it face down on the nightstand, the screen now dark and unyielding. rolling onto your side, you close your eyes and try to will yourself to sleep, but the thoughts keep creeping back in, tangled and persistent.
the night stretches on, heavy and endless.
friday 8:45 am —
the next morning drifts by in a haze, the weight of the night before pressing into your chest like a stone. billie’s slip-up loops endlessly in your mind, her voice saying your name with the kind of familiarity that shouldn’t exist. it feels like a quiet earthquake, shifting everything beneath your feet and leaving you unsteady.
but the day doesn’t care about your turmoil. you have a packed schedule: the forensics seminar in san diego is a top priority, and you can’t afford to let your personal life bleed into your professional one.
the seminar stretches on far longer than expected, the clock’s hands spinning faster than they should. presentations drone, conversations pile up, and you lose track of time between networking and handshakes. by the time you finally make it to your car, you’re already behind. your first day as billie’s ta looms, and you’re cutting it dangerously close.
frustration bubbles in your chest as you toss your heels onto the passenger seat and swap them for your sneakers. the drive back to los angeles feels like a blur, the highway unwinding like a taut ribbon, city lights flickering in your periphery.
when you arrive on campus, you’re out of breath, your sneakers tightly laced, your bag slung over one shoulder. the music department’s doors creak as you push them open, the sound echoing in the stillness of the hallway. billie’s office waits at the end, her name etched on the placard beside the door.
you steel yourself as you approach, forcing your posture to straighten and your expression to settle into something neutral. you can’t afford to let last night’s mess seep into today.
when you step inside, billie looks up from her desk, a polite but cautious smile flickering across her face. she cradles a mug of tea in her hands, the steam curling up in soft tendrils.
“you made it,” she says softly, her voice careful, like she’s testing the waters.
“yeah,” you mumble, your voice flat as you drop your bag onto the chair nearest the door.
she gestures toward the kettle on a side table. “i made some tea if you want.”
you shake your head. “no, thanks.”
the silence that follows is thick and awkward, settling over the room like a dense fog. you take a seat and reach for the stack of papers she’s prepared, diving into the grading without so much as a glance in her direction. your pen moves methodically, the scratching of ink against paper the only sound breaking the stillness.
billie tries to bridge the gap with small talk, her tone light but tentative. “how was the seminar?”
“fine,” you reply curtly, not looking up.
“did you learn anything new?”
“not really.”
then she says something that makes your hand pause mid-motion, the words slipping out so softly they almost disappear into the air between you.
“you look pretty.”
the warmth of her voice lingers, curling around you like smoke, uninvited but hard to ignore. for a moment, your resolve falters, heat rising unbidden to your cheeks.
“thanks,” you murmur, forcing the words out before returning to the papers in front of you. your hand moves faster now, as if the quicker you work, the less you’ll feel.
the air grows heavier with every clipped response, every wall you put up. you feel her eyes on you—watching, waiting—but you refuse to meet her gaze. instead, you pull out your phone, scrolling aimlessly through instagram, letting the stream of curated stories and fleeting glimpses into other people’s lives distract you from the weight of your own.
you wish you’d said yes to carson yesterday. you imagine yourself anywhere but here, laughing over drinks or walking aimlessly through the city, free from this suffocating room and its unspoken tension.
your phone finds its way back to the desk, face down, the screen going dark like the mood in the room. you shuffle through the stack of papers, forcing your focus back to the words in front of you, but your mind keeps drifting. billie’s presence sits heavy, her silence louder than anything she could say.
the papers in front of you blur, the words melting into indistinguishable smudges as your pen moves mindlessly across the page. the ticking clock on the wall grows louder with each second, the steady rhythm grating against your nerves. billie’s presence feels suffocating, her quiet, measured breaths and those occasional glances prickling at your skin like needles. no matter how much you try, you can’t shake the feeling of her eyes on you. still, you keep yours trained on the stack of papers, determined to maintain a veneer of professionalism.
the silence between you is brittle, threatening to crack. it’s billie who finally breaks it, her voice soft but resolute. “are we going to talk about it?”
“talk about what?” you respond, keeping your tone as even as you can, your gaze fixed on the paper beneath your pen.
“you know what i mean.”
your fingers tighten around the pen, and you press it harder against the page, the words blurring even more. “there’s nothing to talk about.”
she exhales, and the sound carries frustration, an edge you’re not sure you’re ready to face. “you can’t just pretend it didn’t happen.”
“i can, actually,” you reply sharply, the bitterness in your tone slipping out before you can stop it.
“no, you don’t,” you say, louder this time, your voice firm, unyielding.
the next words that leave her mouth hit like a slap. “quit acting like a dick.”
your pen freezes mid-stroke, the ink bleeding into the paper. your head snaps up, and you glare at her, the tension between you thick enough to choke on. “excuse me?”
billie doesn’t back down. she crosses her arms, leaning slightly forward, her posture tense. “you heard me. we’ve been talking for weeks, and now, after one awkward call, you’re acting like i don’t exist.”
a bitter laugh escapes your lips as you scoff, shaking your head. “it’s not that simple.”
her gaze sharpens, her blue eyes piercing through your defenses. “then explain it to me,” she presses, her tone walking the tightrope between firm and gentle. “because from where i’m sitting, it looks like you’re punishing me for something that caught both of us off guard.”
her words dig under your skin, unearthing emotions you’ve tried to bury since last night. frustration bubbles over, spilling into your voice. “it’s not just that, billie,” you snap, the pen slipping from your fingers as you lean back in your chair. “you called me by my name. my name. you knew who i was this whole time, and you didn’t say anything. do you even understand how messed up that feels?”
her shoulders slump slightly, and her expression shifts, guilt softening the sharp lines of her face. “look,” she starts, her voice quiet now, tinged with regret. “i know it’s weird. i know i screwed up. and i’m sorry for what i did—how i handled it. i should’ve told you the moment i recognized you, but i didn’t know how. i didn’t want to scare you off. but can we stop pretending like this is something it’s not?”
you blink, the weight of her words settling heavily in the air between you. her gaze is steady, unwavering, and there’s something vulnerable in the way she looks at you, like she’s peeling back layers she’d rather keep hidden.
she shifts forward, resting her arms on the desk, the smallest flicker of hope breaking through her hesitation. “let me make it up to you. dinner, my place, my treat. no games. just you and me talking. figuring this out.”
you hesitate, her voice hanging in the space between you like an open door. her sincerity wraps around you, tugging at the edges of your resolve.
your lips part as if to respond, but the words stall in your throat. the clock ticks on, and for a moment, the room is silent again, the kind of silence that feels like it could break at any second.
“dinner?” you repeat, your voice laced with skepticism, narrowing your eyes as if the word itself might betray some hidden meaning.
“yes, dinner,” she replies, her voice softer now, the hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, delicate like a promise hanging in the air.
you study her, eyes tracing the lines of her face, the subtle shift in her posture as she waits for your response. it’s a soft invitation, yet you can’t shake the weight of everything that’s been unsaid. after a long, pregnant pause, you finally sigh, the tension in your chest letting out with the exhale. you push back your chair, the screech of it against the floor sharp in the quiet room. “fine. but this doesn’t mean we’re good.”
billie’s smile falters for a moment but quickly steadies, her nodding serious and thoughtful. “fair enough. but it’s a start.”
the silence settles between you, a thick, almost tangible thing as you gather your things. her presence lingers in the room, and though she tries to mask it with the faintest smile, the tension that hangs between you is nearly suffocating. you sling your bag over your shoulder, your hand brushing against your phone before you glance at it absentmindedly, letting it slip back into your bag as you head for the door.
the rain greets you before you’ve even stepped outside—a heavy, relentless downpour that blurs the view through the glass doors, transforming the world into a watery smear. you pause, groaning softly, the cold air that seeps through the doorframe making your skin prickle. you glance at your car parked on the far side of the lot, the distance mocking you. of course, it had to rain today.
“you’re not seriously planning to drive in this, are you?” billie’s voice drifts toward you, a note of concern threading through her words as she steps closer.
“i’ll be fine,” you respond quickly, clutching your bag tighter as if it could shield you from the storm that’s waiting to soak you through.
billie steps into your space, the jangle of her keys cutting through the tension between you like a knife. “i’ll drive you.”
you turn to face her, shaking your head in reflex. “that’s not necessary—”
“it’s pouring out there,” she interrupts, her voice more insistent now, the firm edge of authority slipping through. “you can barely see five feet ahead. i’m driving.”
you hesitate, biting back a retort as the sound of the rain intensifies, slamming against the roof like a million tiny fists. it’s a losing battle. the rain’s not letting up, and as much as you hate the thought of being trapped in a confined space with her, you know she’s right.
“okay,” you mutter, your voice thick with reluctant acceptance. “but this doesn’t mean anything.”
billie chuckles, a low, quiet sound that wraps around the words you’d just said. she shakes her head as she opens the door for you, the soft creak of it almost drowned out by the rain. “whatever you say.”
the ride to billie’s house is quiet, save for the rhythmic patter of rain against the roof, the sound almost hypnotic in its repetition. the low hum of the heater fills the car, but it can’t seem to chase the chill away. you keep your eyes fixed on the window, watching as the city lights smear into streaks, the glow of them soft and distant against the blackened night. billie’s hands rest on the steering wheel, her fingers tapping lightly, a subtle movement that betrays the rhythm she’s hearing in her head.
“you okay over there?” her voice cuts through the silence, soft and tentative.
“i’m fine,” you reply curtly, your gaze never leaving the blurred world outside, unwilling to meet her eyes.
billie doesn’t push, her focus shifting back to the road ahead. you can feel the weight of her unspoken words pressing in the space between you, but she doesn’t say anything more. when she finally pulls into the driveway of her house, the rain is still coming down in sheets, relentless, unforgiving. she parks the car, the engine’s hum dying as she cuts it off. for a beat, there’s only the sound of the rain, a quiet, natural backdrop to the tension that clings to both of you.
she turns to face you, her eyes steady, searching, but she doesn’t speak.
“wait here,” she says, her voice a quiet command as she grabs an umbrella from the backseat. with a swift motion, she steps into the downpour, her silhouette swallowed by the rain for a brief moment before she circles around the car, opening your door. the umbrella hovers above you, a delicate shield against the storm. the gesture catches you off guard, something soft in it that you hadn’t expected, but you mumble a quiet thanks, stepping out and letting her guide you, her presence warm against the cold night, toward the front door.
inside, you take in your surroundings, your eyes tracing the clean lines of the sleek, modern design of billie’s home. every corner seems intentional, every surface polished. the walls are lined with awards, their golden surfaces catching the soft, ambient light, gleaming proudly like trophies of a life lived in the spotlight. you swallow a quiet surprise, suddenly feeling out of place.
“so, you are rich,” you mutter under your breath, the words slipping out before you can stop them, the weight of them hanging in the air.
billie’s soft laugh meets your ears, a musical sound that feels oddly comforting in this unfamiliar space. “i wouldn’t say rich,” she replies with a shrug, leading you further inside. “comfortable, maybe.”
before you can muster a response, the soft pattering of paws against the hardwood floor catches your attention. a gray pit bull pads over, his tail wagging enthusiastically, his nose already working overtime as he sniffs at you curiously, his eyes bright and welcoming.
“shark,” billie says with affection, her voice warm as she crouches down to scratch behind his ears, the bond between them clear in the way she speaks. “he’s friendly.”
you lower yourself to the dog’s level, extending your hand so he can get a proper sniff. when he finally accepts you, his head tilts slightly, and you give him a gentle scratch behind the ears. “hey, big guy,” you murmur, the smile pulling at the corners of your mouth as his tail wags harder, thumping against the floor in a rhythm that feels oddly like approval.
when you stand, you catch billie watching you. her gaze is intense, but there’s something there—something unreadablethat makes your chest tighten. she quickly looks away, clearing her throat as if trying to shake off a thought. “wine?” she offers, her voice casual, though there’s a subtle vulnerability in the gesture, as if the invitation is both a question and a subtle apology.
you nod, and she pours two glasses of deep burgundy red wine, the liquid catching the light as it fills the glasses, a dark promise in each drop. she hands you one before moving toward the kitchen. “i was thinking we could cook something simple. nothing fancy,” she adds, her voice laced with an easy kind of familiarity.
you follow her into the kitchen, leaning against the counter as she opens the fridge. she stares at its contents for a moment, her brow furrowing slightly as if the answer to some silent question isn’t immediately obvious. a defeated sigh escapes her, the vulnerability in it making you pause.
“i honestly don’t know what i’m doing,” she admits, the words tinged with an unexpected embarrassment, her voice soft but sincere.
you smirk, your gaze fixed on her for a beat, before you set your glass down with a quiet clink. “need some help?” you ask, the playful edge to your voice masking the way her admission makes you feel, like you’ve just uncovered something real.
she glances at you, her eyes flickering with something you can’t quite place, before a faint look of relief spreads across her features. “yeah,” she says with a small, shy smile. “that’d be great.”
you gesture to your outfit, feeling suddenly self-conscious in the space. “do you have something i can change into?” you ask, your voice quiet. “i don’t want to ruin this.”
she blinks in surprise, then nods. “oh, yeah, of course,” she says quickly, before disappearing down a hallway. when she returns, she’s holding a pair of sweats and a hoodie, the soft fabric a far cry from the sleek, polished atmosphere of her home. “here,” she offers, her voice gentle, but there’s a warmth in the way she looks at you as if she’s seeing you—really seeing you—for the first time tonight.
you change in the guest bathroom, the soft fabric of billie’s sweats and hoodie carrying the faint, comforting scent of her detergent. it lingers around you, mixing with the quiet hum of the house as you slip back into the kitchen. when you re-enter, billie’s eyes flicker over to you, a fleeting moment of something unreadable in her gaze, but it lingers just a second too long.
“you clean up nice,” she teases, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips, her voice light but edged with something you can’t quite place.
you shrug, rolling up your sleeves, the fabric brushing your forearms. “shut up and start chopping those veggies,” you reply, a hint of challenge in your voice, but there’s a softness to it, too.
as the two of you work, the tension from earlier seems to dissolve, like fog lifting under the morning sun. easy conversation flows between you, and the kitchen, with its warm lighting and rhythmic sounds of chopping, feels more like home with each passing moment. you tell her about your ups and downs as a college student—the late-night study sessions, the sneaky runs past your RA’s when you had to hide things you weren’t supposed to have. you share how you were a cheerleader only because of your best friend, and how, despite your excitement to graduate, there’s a gnawing fear deep down—because school, for all its stress and chaos, is all you’ve ever known.
billie listens intently, her eyes fixed on you, absorbing every word as she watches you bring a pot of water to a boil, adding a pinch of salt, and then sprinkling in the penne noodles with practiced ease. her gaze flickers from your eyes down the line of your nose, tracing the curve to your lips—glossy, slightly parted as you speak—and then to the tattoo peeking out from behind your ear. she finally makes out the design—a swirl of blue and black butterflies etched into your skin, delicate and intricate.
it’s funny, but in that moment, she realizes she’s feeling like those butterflies—fluttering around in her chest, her stomach tight with something she can’t name. watching you in her kitchen, making dinner in her clothes, feeling like you belonged in this space, made her feel… domesticated. it was a feeling she wasn’t used to, something scary but good.
“are you just gonna watch, or are you gonna help too?” your voice breaks the quiet as you turn to look at her. your eyes catch hers, a spark of mischief in the air between you, before she crosses her arms over her chest, leaning casually against the corner countertop to the right of you.
“nah,” she smirks, her gaze flickering over you with a softness that doesn’t quite match the playful tone of her words. “you seem to be doing just fine.”
her hand reaches for her glass, bringing the wine to her lips. it’s a moment of indulgence, a slow sip that fills her senses with its velvety smoothness. there’s a burst of ripe, dark fruit on her tongue—blackberries, plums, black cherries—interwoven with subtle notes of red currants and raspberries. the taste, rich and elegant, almost too perfect for this moment, feels like it’s been made for her.
with a dramatic roll of your eyes, you grab a knife, holding it out playfully. the tip points at her, aimed at her stomach. “chop,” you say, a teasing edge to your voice as you wave the knife between her and the cutting board sitting on your left. “go on.”
with an exaggerated huff, billie snatches the knife from your hand and moves over to the chopping board, a flicker of defiance in her eyes. you turn your attention back to the sauce, rifling through her spice cabinet with a sense of purpose until you find the seasonings you need. you set them on the counter, the familiar weight of the bottles grounding you in the task at hand, but you can still feel her presence—like a quiet hum in the room.
turning on the burner, you grab a smaller pot and set it on the stove, tossing in the ingredients for the pasta sauce, the scent of garlic and tomatoes filling the air as you give it a gentle stir.
“shit—” you hear billie say, her voice tinged with frustration. glancing over, you see her holding a knife the wrong way, hovering over a green bell pepper like it’s some sort of adversary she’s unsure how to defeat.
“okay, stop,” you say, setting your spoon down and walking over to her. “you’re going to hurt yourself.”
billie chuckles, stepping back with her hands up in mock surrender. “i told you i don’t know what i’m doing. you’re the one who offered to help.”
you roll your eyes, but the faint smile tugging at your lips betrays the irritation you’re trying to suppress. “hand me the knife.”
she obliges, her fingers releasing the blade with a soft sigh as she leans back against the counter. you take it from her, the cool handle fitting easily in your hand, and begin slicing the bell pepper with practiced ease. her gaze is unwavering, like she’s studying you—watching every movement you make, as though your hands hold some kind of secret she’s trying to unravel.
“stop staring at me,” you mutter, without looking up from your work.
“can’t help it,” billie replies lightly, her voice almost like a tease. “you’re kind of fascinating.”
you pause mid-slice, glancing up at her. the look in her eyes is softer now, less playful, more… something else. something that makes your stomach twist in ways you’re not sure you like, a fluttering feeling that you can’t quite place.
“focus,” you murmur, turning your attention back to the vegetables, hoping the distraction will keep your mind from wandering.
billie chuckles softly, her presence like a quiet hum behind you. she moves closer, her body edging up to yours until she’s standing just behind you. her hand brushes against your waist—delicate, light, but enough to send a small shock through you as she leans in closer to watch you work. you slice the pepper into thin, even pieces, the knife gliding through with ease. you reach for a piece and turn slightly, offering it to her.
instead of taking it from your hand, like you expect, billie angles her head down. her lips brush against the tips of your fingers as she slides the pepper into her mouth, her eyes holding yours in a quiet challenge. you freeze, heart skipping a beat, watching the way she lingers just a second too long.
“is it good?” you ask, your voice quieter than you mean it to be.
“yeah, thank you.” her voice is soft, a low hum that sends a thrill down your spine. at this point, her hands have found their place on your waist, steadying herself as she lingers close. before you can process it, she presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, the brush of her lips light but warm. the world seems to slow, and you freeze, the knife hovering mid-air over the cutting board.
“i—” billie starts, pulling back quickly, her breath catching as she realizes what she’s done. “shit, i’m sorry. i didn’t mean—”
“no, it’s okay,” you interrupt, your voice soft, almost a whisper. the words come out before you can stop them, and there’s an honesty in your tone that surprises you. “i… kinda liked it.”
billie’s eyes search yours, her gaze searching for something you’re not sure you’re ready to give. there’s hesitation there, a quiet storm of uncertainty in her expression. after a beat, she nods, her hands lingering on your waist for just a moment longer before she steps back, her touch slipping away like water through your fingers.
you continue making dinner, the soft sizzle of the sauce simmering filling the kitchen as you stir occasionally. the rhythm of the task is soothing, the casual clink of utensils against the pan blending with the low hum of conversation. you find yourself laughing at billie’s dry wit, and for the first time, it doesn’t feel forced, just two people sharing space and time.
dinner is served shortly after, and the two of you settle at the small dining table, the warm light overhead casting soft shadows around the room. the atmosphere is relaxed, easy—surprisingly so. billie is funny, her sarcastic quips balanced by moments of genuine curiosity about you. her questions are casual, but there’s something deeper beneath them, an earnestness that feels refreshing.
“so,” she says, taking a sip of her wine, “why forensics?”
you shrug, twirling a piece of meat on your fork, contemplating your answer. “i’ve always liked puzzles. figuring things out, piecing them together. plus, it’s practical. there’s always work for someone who can solve problems.”
billie nods thoughtfully, her eyes narrowing slightly as she considers your words. “makes sense. seems like you’re good at that—figuring things out.”
her words hang in the air for a moment, and you can’t tell if she’s talking about more than just your career. her gaze softens, and you look down, focusing on your plate, suddenly aware of how close she is, how much weight is in that quiet compliment.
“what about you?” you ask, finally breaking the silence, your voice steady but curious.
“what about me?” billie tilts her head, a playful edge to her tone.
“why did you become a teacher? you clearly don’t need the money, so tell me.” you pause, laying your fork down and resting your elbows on the table, folding your hands together and propping your head up on them. “don’t hold back.”
billie huffs out a light laugh, twirling her fork slowly on her plate, the motion almost absentminded as she takes her time answering. “uh… well, music’s always been something i’ve loved. and i will love it till the day i die. but the fame that came along with it…” she trails off with a deep sigh, her eyes flicking down to her plate. “that wasn’t something i necessarily loved. don’t get me wrong, i love my supporters and i’m forever grateful for them, but at times it would get overwhelming. i suppose…”
her gaze shifts away from you, her focus distant as she stirs the food on her plate. it’s as though she’s not just talking to you but to herself, too. her words are soft, laced with a kind of exhaustion that speaks of a life lived too quickly. “just kinda got burned out too quick and i wanted to disappear for a while. but i still wanted to actively share music with others—besides, you know, my friends and family and such. so i took some online classes, got my teaching license, and my mom told me a job was open at the university, so i took it.”
a beat passes as you take in her words, and you can’t help but wonder what it must be like, having to leave behind something that once lit you up because the world took too much from you. it’s hard to imagine, but you get it, in a way.
“would you ever publish music again?” you ask, the question floating between you two like a breath.
billie leans in slightly, her voice dropping as if she’s about to reveal a secret. “i’ve actually been working on something,” she says, her smile contagious, her eyes lighting up. “i can show you later.” she clears her throat, sitting back in her chair and crossing her arms, trying to play it off as no big deal. “i mean, if you want. it doesn’t matter.”
you roll your eyes but can’t help the smile that tugs at your lips. “i would like that. a lot.”
the conversation moves easily after that, with billie washing the dishes while you dry them, not letting her refuse your offer. you laugh at her protests, the rhythm of it a kind of unspoken dance you both slip into. there’s a comfortable silence between you, broken only by the occasional clink of glass or the soft hum of the running water.
once the dishes are done, billie suggests watching a movie. you hesitate, glancing at the clock, but ultimately agree. you settle onto the couch with a glass of wine in hand, the cool glass offering a little relief as you sip and settle into the cushions. the movie plays in the background, but neither of you is really paying attention. the sound of the film blends with the quiet, comfortable hum of each other’s presence, and it feels as though the world outside could just slip away for a while.
billie sits close—closer than she needs to. her arm rests casually on the back of the couch, her fingers brushing lightly against your shoulder. you try to ignore it, focusing on the screen, but it’s impossible not to feel the heat radiating from her, a subtle electricity in the air between you.
“can i ask you something?” she says suddenly, her voice low and quiet, barely above the hum of the movie.
you glance at her, your heart skipping a beat. “what?”
“can i kiss you?”
the question catches you off guard, like a breath you didn’t know you were holding. you blink, your mind racing. “i—”
“it’s okay if you don’t want to,” billie adds quickly, her voice softer now, pulling back just slightly. “i just… i wanted to ask.”
you don’t know why, but you nod. maybe it’s the wine, or maybe it’s the way she’s looking at you—her blue eyes soft, earnest, like she’s searching for something in you that she’s not sure of. it feels like the right thing to do, even if your heart is suddenly pounding in your chest.
billie leans in slowly, a fraction of an inch at a time, her movements deliberate, giving you time to pull away if you wanted to. when her lips finally meet yours, it’s soft, tentative—like she’s testing the waters, unsure but hopeful. your breath hitches, caught in the moment, and for a brief second, you forget how to move.
but then you’re kissing her back, your hands finding their way to the nape of her neck, pulling her closer as the kiss deepens, soft and searching. it’s like the world narrows to just the two of you, everything else fading into the background.
one kiss turns into two, then three, until you’re both breathless, tangled in each other. billie pulls back slightly, her forehead resting against yours, her breath warm against your skin.
“come with me,” she murmurs, her voice a low, coaxing whisper, her hand finding yours and gently leading you down the hall.
her bedroom is dimly lit, the faint glow of a bedside lamp casting long shadows across the room. everything in here feels like an extension of her—a chaotic yet comfortable blend of soft fabrics, scattered music sheets, and mismatched furniture that somehow all comes together. a record player hums quietly in the corner, its melody filling the space with a quiet intimacy.
she turns to you, her hands resting on your waist as she searches your face for any sign of hesitation. you reach up, your fingers grazing her cheek gently, hoping to ease the worry that flickers in her eyes. leaning close, your breath ghosts over her lips, your nose brushing against her own, the air warm between you two. your eyes flicker to hers, a silent question hanging there—are you sure?
her left hand slides to the side of your neck, her thumb tracing the curve of your jaw before she pulls you closer, her lips brushing against yours again. this kiss is deeper, more insistent. her tongue swipes over your bottom lip, soft and teasing, before gently nipping at the skin, asking for permission. you open your mouth slightly, giving her access, and she takes it, her kiss hungry and tender all at once.
she trails soft kisses from the corner of your lips down your throat, each one sending a shiver through you. your hands find their way to the back of her neck, pulling her closer, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath your fingers. her hand leaves your neck, moving to rest on your hip as she begins to trail her lips down, marking your skin with slow, wet kisses.
you gasp softly as she moves, her lips leaving a trail of fire in their wake. she pulls back just slightly, meeting your lips again in another kiss, this one more urgent, as if the world outside has ceased to exist. her hands slide beneath your hoodie, the cold metal of her rings brushing against your side, a sharp contrast to the warmth of her touch. your breath catches as she pulls you closer, her body pressing against yours, each touch feeling like it has a life of its own.
she grabs the hem of your hoodie, lifting the fabric slowly, her fingers grazing the skin of your abdomen as it slips over your head, leaving you in just your bra. the cold air of her room nips at your bare skin, sending a shiver down your spine.
“so beautiful,” she murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper, reverence in every word. her hands are back on you in an instant, sliding up your back until they rest just beneath the band of your bra, her touch tender and warm.
her compliment stirs something inside you, a small, involuntary smile curling on your lips. you reach for the collar of her shirt, fingers trembling ever so slightly as you gently undo the buttons one by one, taking your time.
billie watches you, her gaze softening as you brush your thumb across her collarbones. she feels a warmth in her chest that’s unfamiliar yet comforting. you let your hands trail over her chest, down her stomach, stopping at the hem of her blue shirt. your eyes meet hers, a silent question in the softness of your gaze, asking for permission. she nods, her eyes flickering with something deeper.
her breath catches in her throat as you move, tender and deliberate, as though each movement is a quiet reverence for her. you reach for her chains, your fingers sliding beneath them to tuck the necklaces inside her shirt, and then you lift her blue polo over her head, the fabric sliding against her skin. you toss it to the side, leaving her in only a simple white undershirt.
a soft smile plays at her lips, one that’s almost shy, before she presses her palm gently to your cheek. without thinking, you lean into her touch, your breath catching at the intimacy of the moment. she leans in again, her lips finding yours, and a low groan escapes her as she feels the softness of your lips against hers, the warmth between you two pulsing.
her hand slides down to the drawstring of your sweats, tugging them gently as she guides you toward her bed. she sits down on the edge, pulling you on top of her, your legs straddling her lap. her hands move instinctively to your thighs, rubbing them gently through the thick fabric, grounding herself in the feel of you beneath her.
you press your lips to her neck, starting just behind her ear, then trailing down, each kiss lingering softly against her skin. the wet sound of your kisses fills the air, each one leaving its mark. billie’s hands move slowly, exploring the curve of your lower back, her fingers grazing over the tattoo you spoke of the night before. the intricate design sends a shiver through you as her touch leaves goosebumps in its wake, her fingertips tracing its path upwards.
her hands reach the clasp of your bra, the delicate touch of her fingers working to undo each hook, slowly and carefully. when it finally comes undone, the cool air meets your skin, and your nipples pebble slightly in the change of temperature. a small breath escapes you, the sensation both electric and tender.
your kisses on billie’s neck slow to a languid pace as her fingers toy with the bars piercing your nipples. a soft gasp escapes your lips, your breath hitching as you angle your face into the curve of her neck. your nose grazes the damp trail left by your earlier kisses, and the air feels thick, charged with her presence.
“that feel good, huh?” she murmurs, her voice low and teasing, tinged with a laugh as she feels your body respond to her touch. “been wanting to play with these since yesterday.”
her words send a flush coursing through you, the confession settling warm in your chest. gently, she shifts you, her hands firm yet careful as she turns you over and lays you on your back. the comforter beneath you gives way, soft and cool against your heated skin, and your body trembles just slightly at the sensation.
you look up at her, through the fringe of your lashes, her face framed by the golden glow of the bedside lamp. her blue eyes are soft yet intense, locking onto yours as a warm smile spreads across her face. her hair falls like a curtain around you, strands brushing your cheeks, shielding you from anything that exists outside this moment.
“is this okay?” she asks, her voice gentle, careful, as though one wrong move could shatter the sacredness of the moment.
you nod lightly, your throat tight with anticipation.
“remember, i need you to say it for me, mama,” she presses, her tone dipping lower, melting into the air between you.
“yes,” you whisper, your voice steady but barely audible. “it’s more than okay, billie.” your arm lifts, delicate yet sure, wrapping around her neck to pull her closer. your lips meet hers, the kiss slow and deliberate, an exchange that speaks louder than anything you could say.
she hums against your lips, a sound that vibrates through you, before trailing her mouth back to your neck. she kisses you there, leaving traces of herself as she moves lower, her lips ghosting down to your chest. when she reaches the curve of your breasts, she pauses. her breath fans over your skin, sending a shiver through you. the peaks of your nipples stiffen under the coolness of her breath, a soft gasp slipping past your lips.
darting her tongue out, she licks at your right nipple, her tongue circling the bar before pulling it between her lips. her left hand moves to your other breast, her fingers pinching and rolling the sensitive bud. the push and pull of her attention leaves you breathless, and when she releases your nipple with a soft, wet pop, her saliva glistens against your skin in the dim light.
her mouth finds its way to your other breast, mirroring the same motions—sucking, licking, teasing, until your body arches toward her involuntarily. the noises escaping you feel foreign, unbidden, like they’re pulled from some deep, hidden part of you.
her lips trail further downward, leaving a line of kisses over your navel, her hands pressing into your sides to hold you steady. as her lips pause between the valley of your breasts, her gaze lifts to yours, a soft flicker of recognition crossing her face when she notices the small tattoo etched there. she presses a kiss to it, reverent and unhurried, before pulling back slightly to take you in.
she sits up, her eyes never leaving your face as she watches the way your body writhes beneath her, your chest heaving, your lips parted in a series of soft moans that sound like a melody only she gets to hear. her hands move deliberately, halting at the waistband of your sweatpants. her fingers brush against the material, teasing, rubbing it between her thumb and forefinger.
her lips curve into a smile as she leans down, her voice low and teasing, warm against your ear. “can i keep going?”
her question lingers, patient, unhurried. her fingers hover at the edge of your waistband, waiting for your answer. and in her eyes, you see nothing but care, nothing but quiet, consuming need.
sitting back up, she watches you beneath her, your body writhing against the comforter, each movement punctuated by soft, needy moans that flood her ears like a song she never wants to end. her lips curve into a slow, knowing smile as her fingers toy with the band of your sweatpants, rubbing the fabric between her thumb and forefinger, dragging the moment out.
“can i?” her voice is soft, low, like a secret meant only for you.
your chest rises and falls in shallow breaths, your voice trembling as you whisper, “yes, please, baby.”
the grin that spreads across billie’s face is equal parts wicked and tender, her eyes never leaving yours as she hooks her fingers into the waistband. she drags them down, her movements slow, deliberate, as if unwrapping a gift she’s been waiting too long to open. inch by inch, she bares you to her until your sweatpants are discarded, tossed carelessly to the side. all that’s left is the thin barrier of your underwear, and the wet patch at the center betrays the need pulsing through you.
“shit—someone’s getting worked up,” she teases, her voice thick with amusement as her fingers brush against the damp fabric, applying just enough pressure to make you gasp.
“shut up,” you mumble, heat rushing to your face as you squirm beneath her. your legs instinctively press together, your core aching for more as she continues her tormenting touches. “just take it off already,” you whine, your voice dripping with impatience.
a cruel smirk tugs at her lips as her fingers curl around the waistband of your panties. “what? i can’t take my time with you?” her words are taunting, dripping with feigned innocence as she slides the fabric down even slower than before.
“no, just—fuck,” you hiss as the cool air hits your bare skin, your body arching slightly at the sudden contrast. unable to take it anymore, you grab her by the neck, pulling her down into a kiss that’s harder, more desperate than any of the ones before. her lips crash against yours, and for a moment, all you can feel is her—her weight, her warmth, the way her body presses into yours.
her hands plant firmly on either side of you, her fists digging into the mattress to steady herself. as the kiss deepens, your hips rut upward, the heat of your bare skin grinding against the rough denim of her jeans. the friction sends a jolt of pleasure through you, a muffled whine escaping into the kiss as you seek more.
billie pulls back, her breathing uneven as her hand slides to your side, fingertips ghosting over the curve of your ass. her other hand presses gently against your hips, pinning you back to the bed with a firm but gentle touch.
“have patience,” she murmurs, her lips brushing against your cheek as she peppers it with soft, lingering kisses.
“i can’t,” you groan, your voice cracking under the weight of your need.
“you can,” she counters, her tone firm but laced with a tenderness that makes your chest ache, “and you will.”
her eyes meet yours, a silent promise shining in the blue depths. billie wants nothing more than to give in, to lose herself in you completely, but she holds back. she wants this to last, wants to savor every second, every sound, every tremble of your body beneath hers. you deserve that much—more than that.
she dips her head, her lips finding the crook of your neck as she resumes her journey downward. every kiss is purposeful, unhurried, as she maps your body with her mouth. her lips trace the delicate line of your collarbones, pausing to place a lingering kiss at the hollow of your throat before moving lower. she trails kisses down the swell of your breasts, her hands sliding over your sides as she presses soft, reverent kisses to each nipple.
she continues downward, her lips brushing over your ribs, your belly, the dip of your navel. her hands smooth over the curve of your hips, grounding you as she moves lower still. when she finally reaches the soft mound of your cunt, she pauses.
her chin grazes you lightly as she hovers there, her breath warm against your skin. the anticipation hangs heavy in the air, your body taut beneath her, every nerve alive and waiting. her eyes flicker up to meet yours, her lips curving into a small, almost imperceptible smile.
“so fucking beautiful,” she murmurs, her voice barely audible, like a prayer spoken only for you.
“well hello there,” she murmurs, her voice low and dripping with mischief, her blue eyes flicking down to where your core glistens, wet and aching for her touch. the sight alone seems to mesmerize her, her lips twitching into a crooked grin as she drinks you in. leaning forward, she presses slow, deliberate kisses to the inside of your thighs, her lips soft but her teeth sharp as they leave faint marks in their wake. her thumbs brush tender circles on the sensitive skin, grounding you and setting every nerve alight all at once.
“you’re so mean, making me wait like this,” you mutter, your voice shaky with anticipation as you prop yourself up on your elbows to watch her. the sight of her there—her head between your thighs, her hair messy, her lips swollen—sends a shiver down your spine.
“no, i’m not,” she counters with a sly smirk, sitting back just enough to pull her shirt over her head. her bra follows, tossed aside carelessly, leaving her bare before you. her tattoos catch the soft glow of the light, a stark contrast against her pale skin. “i’m just taking my time with you, that’s all.”
you let out a frustrated whine, your eyes raking over her now-exposed chest. “exactly, and that’s so—fuck,” your words cut off in a sharp gasp as her lips finally make contact with your pussy. her tongue brushes over your clit in a fleeting touch, just enough to send a jolt through your body.
she doesn’t stop there. her mouth moves with intent, her lips pressing kisses all over, her tongue darting out to taste you. it’s not rushed; it’s sensual, almost like she’s savoring you. she moans against you as her tongue flicks over your entrance, dipping in briefly before sliding up through your folds. the vibration of her voice sends waves of pleasure through you, and you can’t help but arch your back, chasing the sensation.
“billie,” you whimper, your voice breathy and desperate, as her nose grazes your clit with every movement. she doesn’t respond with words, just another moan as she pulls you closer, her hands gripping your thighs to hold you in place.
your fingers tangle in her hair, tugging at the roots as you rock your hips against her face. “oh my god,” you gasp, your thighs trembling as her tongue flicks in a way that leaves you breathless. her nails dig into your skin just slightly, a grounding sensation amidst the overwhelming pleasure.
she pulls back, her lips shiny and swollen, her chest heaving as she looks up at you. “you taste so good,” she mutters, her voice husky and dripping with want. without breaking eye contact, she lets her tatted hand slide down, her fingers taking over where her tongue left off.
her fingers tease your slit, slick and warm, before sliding one inside you with ease. the stretch is slow, deliberate, as her thumb brushes over your clit in lazy circles. “feel good, baby?” she asks, her voice soft but commanding, her eyes watching every little twitch of your body as she works you open.
“yes,” you gasp, your head falling back against the pillows. your walls clench around her finger as she curls it inside you, brushing against that perfect spot that makes your breath hitch. she smirks, clearly pleased with your reaction, and leans back in to press a kiss to your thigh, murmuring, “good girl.”
“this okay?” she whispers, her voice gentle, almost reverent, as her movements still for a moment. her other hand glides over the curve of your stomach, her thumb tracing soft circles on your skin. her blue eyes, vast as oceans, hold yours with a tenderness that makes your chest ache.
you nod, breath hitching as you adjust to the fullness of her. “yes,” you murmur, your voice trembling, and it’s all the confirmation she needs. she slides another finger inside you, slow and deliberate, the stretch sending sparks of pleasure rippling through you. her pace is unhurried, her focus solely on the way your body reacts to her, the way you fit around her fingers like she was made for this—for you.
“oh, fuck, billie,” you gasp, your head falling back as you watch her fingers disappear inside you, coated in your slick. she groans softly at the sound of her name falling from your lips, her pupils dilating with a mix of desire and awe. she’s certain she could fall apart right here, just from the melody of your voice and the way you tremble beneath her.
your moans grow louder, mingling with the obscene, wet sounds of her fingers working you, the rhythm steady but maddening. her sheets are damp beneath you, the evidence of your ecstasy pooling there as her pace quickens. “so pretty, baby,” she breathes, her voice thick with affection and hunger. “everything about you… so fucking beautiful.” her free hand slides down, gripping your thigh to hold you in place as you buck against her touch, desperate for more.
your hands find their way to her hair, fingers tangling in the soft strands as you pull her closer. the kiss you give her is fierce, messy, and desperate, your lips crashing into hers like waves against the shore. her teeth graze your bottom lip, and the sensation pulls a whimper from you, the sound only spurring her on. her fingers drive into you faster, her palm brushing against your clit with each stroke, sending shockwaves through your entire body.
you break the kiss, your lips still brushing hers, your breath mingling as you struggle to form words. “billie… i—mmm…” your voice is a broken whine, your brows knitting together as you feel the knot in your core tightening, threatening to snap.
her gaze locks onto yours, and you try to shield your face, embarrassed by how undone you’ve become under her touch. your hand flies to her face, an attempt to cover her eyes, but she’s quicker. she grabs your wrist, gently pulling it away and lacing her fingers with yours. she presses a soft, lingering kiss to the back of your hand, her voice like a balm as she whispers, “don’t hide from me, mama. i want to see all of you.”
her words unravel something deep inside you, and the knot in your belly finally snaps. your climax crashes over you in waves, your body shaking as she guides you through it, her fingers never faltering. “that’s it,” she coos, her lips brushing against your temple as your hips jerk against her hand. “so good for me, baby. just like that.
your head falls against her chest, your body pliant and trembling as you come down, your breath ragged and uneven. she slows her movements before withdrawing her fingers, careful not to overstimulate you. you shudder at the loss, but the sight of her lifting her hand to her lips makes your breath hitch all over again.
billie closes her eyes as her tongue flicks out, wrapping around her fingers and savoring the taste of you. a low moan escapes her throat as she licks them clean, her expression one of pure satisfaction. “you’re perfect,” she murmurs, her voice heavy with affection, and the words settle deep in your chest, grounding you in this moment with her.
your back hits the bed, the sheets cool against your heated skin as you stare blankly at the ceiling, the swirl of your thoughts almost deafening. the quiet hum of the night fills the space, but all you can focus on is the weight of the moment, heavy and impossible to ignore. billie’s eyes flick over to you, her thumbs brushing lazy circles into your sides as her brows knit together, concern softening her features.
“you okay?” her voice is gentle, like the question might break you.
truthfully, you don’t know. you had crossed a line you swore you’d never even approach—crossed it, leapt over it, and now here you were, tangled in the aftermath. you had met, and fucked, one of your clients. and god, the worst part wasn’t even that. the worst part was the undeniable truth humming beneath your skin—you wanted to do it again. and again. and again.
“mhm,” you hum, but it’s weak, barely audible. your voice doesn’t carry the conviction you need it to, and the room falls silent again, thick with tension. your mind races, spiraling through a maze of scenarios, consequences, and excuses until her voice cuts through the noise.
“it’s getting late.” her words are quiet but pointed, pulling you out of your spiraling thoughts. your eyes dart around the dim room, finally landing on the clock glowing faintly on the bedside table. 2:57 a.m.
“shit—i’m sorry,” you stammer, bolting upright, scrambling for your clothes like an instinctive reaction. but before you can even find your shirt, her hand presses softly against your back, grounding you.
“no, i—i was going to ask if you’d like to stay. for the night.” her voice wavers slightly, and she looks away for a moment, her vulnerability showing in the flicker of hesitation in her gaze. when her eyes meet yours again, there’s something there—hope, maybe? or just a simple longing.
you hesitate, your heart thundering in your chest. everything about this feels complicated, feels wrong, and yet, there’s a pull in her voice, in her gaze, that makes you want to say yes despite all the reasons you shouldn’t. you search for excuses—she’d have to drive you back to your car; it’s late; it doesn’t mean anything—but none of them feel convincing enough to leave.
“okay,” you whisper, the word hanging in the air like a secret. her lips curve into a soft smile, and she moves quickly to grab you extra clothes and swap out the bedding. “thanks,” you murmur, and something in her expression softens even more.
the pillow feels too soft under your head, your back turned to her as you try to steady the rhythm of your breathing. you hear her moving around the room—shutting off the television, switching off the lights. the quiet returns as she slips into bed beside you, and for a moment, you feel the faintest brush of her arm, hesitant, like she wants to reach for you but stops herself just short. the space between you feels heavy, unspoken words hanging in the air.
“goodnight, billie,” you whisper into the quiet, your voice barely carrying. your eyes close, but your thoughts don’t stop—they churn and twist, loud and relentless.
“goodnight, star.” her voice is soft, like the nickname itself is fragile and intimate, and it’s the last thing you hear before sleep pulls you under.

Did you know that your Mars sign can tell you how you respond to someone you’re attracted to? It can essentially build a picture of how you interact with people you’re drawn to. Let’s dive into it.
Fire Mars
When Fire Mars is attracted to you, they have to tell you. They cannot hold back; they need to either give you a compliment or ask you out directly. These people need to know what you’re doing and whether you’re single. They come on strong. When they find you attractive, they want to seize the moment. They do not like waiting and are incredibly impatient, so they’re quick to dive in, ask you questions, ask you out on a date, and even take things to the bedroom quickly. These people don’t play. They can’t hold back once they feel attraction. Fire Mars is definitely not the type to follow the “60-day rule”—they need it now. When they find you attractive, they are touchy-feely, often without even realizing it. This comes naturally to them. Because of this, Fire Mars is often ready to jump into the bedroom quickly, even without a strong emotional connection. They might even ask you to be in a relationship with them very fast, as they don’t understand how to slow things down. Fire Mars is hot and ready, and you can’t turn them down easily. Even if you reject them, their persistence is strong, and they know how to charm you into saying yes. They might even play a role just to get you to agree. This is Fire Mars.
Earth Mars
When Earth Mars is attracted to you, they are slow and methodical. They spend a lot of time in their head, constantly thinking about what they want to do and how they want to approach you. They need to know exactly what they like about you before they even feel attracted. Earth Mars can’t simply like you; they need to identify the specific traits they like, whether it’s your hands, your height, or your muscles. They take a long time to make a move, being very slow, steady, and careful. They will vet you out, observing and evaluating you, sometimes making a mental list of pros and cons. They might even decide that you don’t fit into their life, which is why some Earth Mars individuals may only pursue a physical connection without a deeper commitment. They are notorious for acting like they’re courting you when, in reality, they’re just interested in a hookup. Once they get what they want, they retreat back into their heads, often not making any further moves. Earth Mars can take a long time to make the first move, and if they do act quickly, it may be due to influences from other fiery placements in their chart.
Air Mars
When Air Mars likes you, they often don’t know where things are going. They like to live in the moment, pacing things out and seeing where it leads. A simple conversation can be enough to spark attraction. Mental connection is everything to them, and if you can intrigue them mentally, they’re hooked. They are picky about who they talk to, as they need mental stimulation to feel attracted. Air Mars is interested in people who can keep up with their conversations, but they can also be unsure about commitment. They get intrigued and curious about you, and that’s what draws them in. When Air Mars comes up to talk to you, it doesn’t always mean they’re in love with you—they’re often just being charming or flirtatious. However, if they really like you, they’ll likely try to connect with you more intimately, and they’re very persuasive in this area. They don’t care much for rules and will often throw them aside to get what they want. Air Mars is good at charming people into the bedroom and will happily explore new and exciting things there. Their ability to mentally stimulate you and push boundaries can make them very captivating in intimate settings.
Water Mars
Water Mars can be a bit mysterious. When they’re attracted to you, they tend to act in subtle and sometimes contradictory ways. They can be bold one moment, then retreat into subtlety the next. You might not know where you stand with them because they’re often hard to read. Water Mars likes to be in your orbit—they enjoy being around you, observing you, and interacting with you at random times. They may not always openly express their feelings but will drop hints and wait for you to pick up on them. They prefer to be chased, and although they’re attracted to you, they often want you to make the first move. Their boldness only comes out when they’ve had enough of the games or when they really want to move things to the bedroom. Water Mars is often shy or timid when it comes to showing their attraction in person, but online or over text, they might be more open. They are receptive in nature and prefer others to pursue them. Water Mars enjoys being pursued and doesn’t always take the initiative, even when they’re interested. They like to feel comfortable around you before expressing their feelings, and they often want others to take the lead in the relationship.

A Love Beyond Time

Count Orlok x Reader
Warnings: murder, blood and grief
Summary: A Vampire's love is forever. No matter the centuries or lifetimes. He belonged to you and you to him.
The castle stood isolated on top of the hill, its rough silhouette was framed by the moon's glow.
A cold wind whistled as it met the ancient stones, carrying with it the scent of pine and earth.
Inside those cold, towering walls, your life with Count Orlok had been hauntingly beautiful in its own way.
Though the villagers whispered fearful tales of the vampire lord, you knew a different side of him.
To the world, he was a creature of the night and blood.
But to you, he was a caring husband, a being of depth and tenderness.
Evenings were your sanctuary.
As dusk fell and shadows crept across the land, Orlok would rise, his pale form emerging without noise into the dim glow of the candlelit hall.
He would find you waiting by the grand fireplace, wrapped in a thick woollen shawl and a smile on your face.
The fire’s warmth never seemed to reach him, yet he always sat close, drawn in by you.
You would speak of simple things that happened during the day. While he listened to you talk, his sharp eyes would soften with affection.
He preferred to listen to you instead of talking. Your voice was as if angel's sang. His was deep and rumbly with uneven breathing.
The love you shared was expressed in the smallest gestures, the way he would brush a stray piece of hair from your face, the way you would smile at him despite the coldness of his touch.
It was a love that transcended fear and mortality.
Yet happiness, especially in such a world, was delicate.
One morning, just as dawn's first light came, a mob from the nearby village stormed the castle gates.
They had grown bold, driven by fear and ignorance, they believed that by hurting you, they could weaken the dark figure they so dreaded. And they would be correct.
The Count's only weakness was you. But even in his weakness, there was strength.
You tried to hide in the upper chambers, but they found you.
They broke down the door where you were hiding.
The plan to murder you was merciless.
Rough hands dragged you and even though you fought and begged, their numbers overwhelmed you.
Pain shot through your side as they struck you down, and the world blurred into darkness. The last thing you heard before everything faded was the echo of their retreating footsteps.
They ran.
While you were bleeding, right by the grand fireplace.
When night fell and Orlok awoke, he was met with the scent of blood, a metallic tang that hung heavy in the air.
Panic filled him as he followed the trail, his heart, long thought dead, pounding with fear.
He found you lying on the cold stone floor, lifeless and still.
For a moment, he simply stared, as if refusing to believe what his eyes could clearly see.
Then a cry tore from him, raw and primal, echoing through the castle's empty halls.
Causing the walls to shake.
He held your broken corpse in his arms, his cold hands trembling as he cried.
Guilt and grief filled him, each time he opened his eyes, it became more unbearable than the last. Each time he saw the blood. His mind filled with the times when you willingly gave your essence to him.
Now those times haunted him.
Memories of your smile came to him as he cried.
Tears falling from his eyes.
The one being who had brought light into his dark existence was gone.
His wife was dead.
And he knew exactly who did this. He knew exactly where to go.
The foolish humans living in the village.
Gently he placed your cold body on the floor and collected your pendant. The pendant, a gift from him at your wedding night.
Suddenly his grief turned to anger.
His vengeance was just as brutal and merciless as the villager's actions.
There were screams, people begged. But just as they didn't listen to you, the Count refused to listen to their pleas.
By dawn, the village that had dared to harm his beloved was no more, reduced to ash, blood and ruin.
Yet even after his revenge, the void within him remained. He knew, nothing could fill that void.
He was alone once more.
He buried you the next night.
A grave right under your favourite tree. Your headstone, simple yet delicate.
Every day, he visited your grave, speaking softly to the stone as if you could still hear him.
And each time he brought a beautiful red rose.
He remembered the time when his castle had beautiful roses in its garden by the entrance, back when his castle was filled with light. It was a home not just some ruin.
The only thing he had left was your pendant. He always had that with himself, carried it, held it and even slept with it on his chest..
Centuries passed, and though the world changed around him, Orlok remained frozen in time, a ghost bound by sorrow and undying love.
He walked the halls with a simple rose in his hand, down to your grave, then he would tell you how much he missed you. As he touched the stone, he placed the rose down.
Then, one quiet evening, long after the world had forgotten the tale of the vampire and his lost bride, a knock echoed through the castle’s grand hall.
Orlok, now a creature of legend and mourning, moved toward the door, expecting only the wind.
But when he opened it, he found something he had long stopped hoping for.
“I found you,” you said softly, your voice steady but filled with emotion. You raised your arms as if to hug him. But you stopped.
He stood frozen in disbelief.
You looked different yet still the same.
Young, alive and warm, but your eyes held the same familiar light.
The light that was stolen from him.
You looked like the woman in his dreams, not his nightmares.
“I remembered. One night, it all came back to me. Who I was, who you are. I knew I had to come and find you, My Love.”
Orlok’s hands trembled as he reached toward you, hesitant, as if he was afraid that you would vanish like a dream. A dream he had many times during the last centuries.
When his fingers met your face, and he felt the warmth of your skin, his eyes filled with hope.
“You’re real,” he whispered, his voice breaking at the end. “You came back to me.”
“I came home,” you said, tears filling your eyes.
For a moment, neither of you spoke, you just allowed him to process everything.
Then, suddenly, he pulled you into his arms, holding you tightly, as if to shield you from the cruel world that had once taken you from him.
For the first time in centuries, the cold emptiness within him was replaced with warmth.
A warmth he had lost but it came back to him.
Together, you entered the castle, the heavy doors creaking shut behind you.
Later that night, as the fire crackled in the grand fireplace and the scent of pine filled the air, Orlok gazed at you with something that words could not capture.
He traced your features with his eyes, saving every detail to memory.
“I never thought I would feel this again,” he said quietly. “For so long, I existed in darkness, bound by grief. But now…you’ve brought light back into my world.”
You reached for his hand, entwining your fingers with his.
“I was always meant to find you again. Love like ours doesn’t end. It waits, even across lifetimes.”
"I have avenged you."
"I have heard, thank you" you whispered as he moved even closer to you.
When your lips met in a tender kiss, it was as if the centuries of despair and longing melted away.
At that moment, time did not matter.
All that existed was the love you shared.
A love which was ethereal.
And so, in the heart of that ancient castle, where shadows once reigned, light and love triumphed once more.

after the divorce, you thought you’d finally drawn a line in the sand, clear and bold, separating yourself from simon riley and everything that came with him. but simon? he wasn’t ready to step back. not fully. at first, it was silence—an absence so heavy, but then, slowly, the messages started.
they weren’t the cryptic, blunt texts you were used to during your relationship. no more “you around?” or “we need to talk.” instead, they carried a rawness that made you hesitate before opening them. one night, your phone lit up: “i’ve been sitting here, going over everything. i keep thinking about how i pushed you away, how i let my own demons ruin what we had. you didn’t deserve that. none of it.”
you read it three times before setting the phone down, heart heavy and conflicted. simon never said things like this when you were together. and yet, here he was, baring himself in a way that felt almost foreign.
then came the gifts. small, thoughtful things that carried weight. one afternoon, a neatly wrapped package appeared at your door. chamomile tea—the good kind, the kind you’d mentioned in passing during one of those rare soft moments between you. you’d joked that his taste in tea was pretentious, and he’d grumbled something about chamomile being “too bloody mild.” now, seeing it in front of you, carefully packed with a handwritten note that simply said “thought you might like this”, you didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
the late-night call was unexpected. his voice was rough, the way it always got when he’d had a drink, but there was a tremor in it you didn’t recognize. “i’ve started therapy,” he admitted, the words slurred but clear enough. “trying to figure out... what’s wrong in my head. i don’t want to hurt anyone else. especially not you. not ever again.”
your chest tightened at the honesty. simon had always been guarded, his emotions buried so deep even you had trouble finding them. hearing him like this—open, vulnerable—was disarming.
when you finally told him he needed to stop calling you love, his answer was immediate. “can’t do that,” he said, his voice low but steady. “it’s what you are to me. maybe i didn’t show it right before, but it doesn’t change the fact. you’ll always be my love, even if it’s just in my head.”
he wasn’t asking for anything outright, and maybe that’s what made it harder. he wasn’t begging or demanding. he was just there—offering pieces of himself you’d spent years wishing he’d share, now arriving when you weren’t sure you wanted them anymore.
simon had always been a storm, intense and unrelenting. but this? this felt different. he wasn’t trying to sweep you off your feet. he was trying to meet you where you stood, hoping you’d see the man he was trying to become. and maybe—just maybe—give him another chance.

Welcome pile1! Your future spouse’s unsaid thoughts and feelings reveal a powerful blend of confidence, introspection, and a deep connection to new beginnings and growth. They have a strong sense of accomplishment, pride, and victory. They admire you, and are very proud of you. They may not openly express it, but they feel that they’ve overcome significant challenges in their life and are now ready for the next chapter. There’s a quiet sense of self-assurance and success, and they might be hoping for recognition and validation in their relationship, even if they don’t vocalize it.
They may be feeling the need for rest, recovery, or reflection. Perhaps they’ve been through emotional turmoil or have been working hard to reach their goals, leaving them needing some time for healing and quiet contemplation. They may feel a little worn out from past experiences and are likely longing for peace, rest, and space to recharge, though they may not openly ask for it.
Hmm they are very passionate about you;) You give them this spark. They want to give you the world, but don't think it's just their thoughts and no action. No, they are action oriented. They are ready to embrace new beginnings, and their heart may be eager to explore the possibilities that the future holds with you. There’s an excitement in their energy that they may be holding back, not wanting to rush into things but feeling strongly about taking bold steps forward.
They may be silently longing for a deeper connection, one that’s rooted in love, care, and growth. They may not express it directly, but there’s a strong desire to nurture the relationship and create something beautiful and fulfilling together. They want to build a life filled with warmth, comfort, and mutual growth with you)

Welcome pile 2! Your future spouse's unsaid thoughts and feelings are layered with both burdens and hopes for stability. They may feel a little bit overwhelming, because of responsibility. They may be carrying a heavy load, whether it’s from their past experiences, personal challenges, or commitments they haven’t yet fully shared with you. They feel the weight of their obligations and the stress it brings, but they’re determined to push through, even if it’s taking a toll on their energy. Despite this, they may not be expressing just how hard it’s been for them, possibly because they don't want to burden you with their struggles.
They may have experienced a heartbreak in the past, or some wounds are still open. While they may not openly discuss it, the pain from a past relationship, betrayal, or loss lingers in their heart. They may fear that this hurt could resurface in the future, making them hesitant to fully open up or trust again. It’s a painful part of their emotional world that they might keep hidden, yet it’s influencing their approach to love and connection. They think and hope you will help them with it. Though they may not speak about it often, they are focused on creating stability and long-term success. They are pragmatic and reliable, working diligently toward their goals. They want to ensure that they can offer a stable, grounded life to their loved ones, including you. However, they may feel like they are moving slowly, carefully weighing every step to ensure they’re making the right decisions. They may be quietly hoping for mutual give-and-take, seeking a partnership where both of you share responsibility and support each other equally. They long for fairness and reciprocity, though they might not vocalize it. They hope they will stand it with you. Thank you for reading pile 2)

Hello pile 3 , your fs wish they could share their wins and achievements with you right now . And how they're feeling their best in the life . They would like to tell you that life's in working in their favour for now and everything's so smooth in their life. This energy of feeling fulfilled and grateful is coming to them after a long time. They wanna tell you how much inner work they did on themselves inorder to come where they're right now. When noone came to them they held themselves very gracefully. They showed themselves the kindness they wish others could show them but didn't. And now they're the just having it all in their favour. They wanna tell you how much they worked on their mindset to get it right and not always being pessimistic about the life. They really took the when life gives you lemon make lemonade seriously. They understood that all they needed was a inner change [changing themselves] and the world changed for themselves. All they think is right now if you were there with them they'll take you somewhere good and have a good time with each other and few drinks and share things about life and the hardships they went through. I feel they'll want to let you see their vulnerable side but it's only for you not for everyone. They'll want to tell you how they made peace with their inner demons and people around them. At some point in life they may have felt that they were all talks and no actions but they literally changed so much almost they became a new person for you as they were haunted by the thought that thye won't be enough for you when they meet you and it'll result into unreasonable clashes between both of you which is gonna break their heart. They wish at this point they could just talk with you about anything they just wanna talk with you. They wanna hear your voice. They're so lovesick almost like new lovers who just got into fresh relationship with no past experiences
thank you for reading 😊

Hello pile 4 , how're you ? I feel your fs just wanna tell you that they would just want to sleep with cuddling them like a baby and just get lost in dreams while being asleep . They would like to compliment you if it was possible for them they'd just speak through mirror and pump you up with confidence everytime you look yourself in mirror. They wanna tell you to not doubt . They wanna tell you to not cage yourself and being so close headed. They wanna tell you to start thinking out of box. Their thoughts are just about how can they bring you out from the facade you trapped yourself in. They'd tell you to help yourself and not think that anyone else will come up to save you. Although it might feel like you're just at the verge from falling down but all of this is not real the rope you're tieing yourself with isn't real it's just a illusion. Your fs actually wants you to chill and think calmly because being serious for you didn't work so well lol. Your fs just wanna give you some rough love . Idk what about you pissed them off. But they're not leaving you know that they'll be by your side always holding your hands. Your future spouse actually wants to be your companion. They just wish they were with you all the time and they would protect you from hardships. Your fs wants you to meet their family . With you they're willing to go through unconventional and non traditional paths too. They would even keep family values aside for you. They want you to walk a unique path and not follow the rat race . They'd want you to take out for getting some fresh air , go to some religious places and pray together and have you in their muscly arms like squish you but cutely 😭
Thank you for reading 😊

Can you please do Darrel Curtis x Wife reader, like they got married shortly before the Curtis parents death and it’s just the reader staying by Darrel throughout the grieving process and Bob’s murder and Pony and Johnny going on the lamb. And he’s like ‘why did you stay with me with all the stuff going on?’ And the reader is like ‘because I love you and I made a vow’?♥️♥️
𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 - 𝐃.𝐂

a/n: im done with exams which means im back to my usual schedule!!!
The glow from the lamp in the corner does very little to diminish the shadows looming in the corners of the room, making them all the more intimidating than usual. The silence that hangs over the house is unbearable, and everything feels as if it’s been tipped on its axis and forced to cope.
Nobody is themselves, especially not Darry; he’s been on his way to burning out for weeks, like a candle burning down to the last few centimetres of the wick, and now the flame has finally reached the bottom. He’s sat at the table, head in his hands, glaring down at the bills spread across the surface, but you can tell he's not taking in an ounce of what’s printed on the paper. There are dark shadows under his eyes, his skin is drawn and pale, and he looks so tired that it pains you.
“Darry,” you call out, voice cutting through the stillness in the kitchen. He doesn’t look up, simply shaking his head, brushing you and keeping his gaze downwards. “Darrel.” You try again, the finality in your tone more insistent this time, and he lifts his eyes slightly.
"Not right now, sweetheart." His voice sounds raw from lack of use, and your heart breaks just a bit for him. You push off of the doorframe where you were leaning, stepping towards him slowly and resting your hands on his shoulders, chin on top of his head. You don't miss the way he relaxes under you, his whole body slumping , an exhausted sigh leaving him.
"Take a break. I'll make us dinner," you offer, giving him a squeeze. He nods slowly, swallowing , and you finally see through the mask he's been wearing ever since the boys ran off, since Bob's face landed in the papers, "MURDERED," written in bold above. Beneath that stoic facade is a man, a kid, who's been through too much too fast, and it causes something in you to tighten.
A gentle sigh leaves you, and you move round to sit yourself in his lap, not saying anything when his arms wind around your middle immediately, clutching onto you as though there might be nothing left in this world for him to cling too tight too. Your fingers trail idly through his hair, stroking it lightly.
"They'll come back." Your voice is soft, calm, reassuring. "They're both smart boys. They wont be gone much longer." His only response is a nod against your chest. You know how difficult this has been for him; losing both parents, and now his little brother is something no one should ever have to go through. It's a miracle he isn't completely breaking apart by now.
"Soda called. He's staying with Steve tonight." You don't mention why; don't tell him that it's because he can't take the silence, the emptiness, much longer. He doesn't need to know.
"Okay," Darry whispers into your shirt before pulling back just enough to look up at you. There's something in his eyes, an almost apologetic look that makes your stomach twist uncomfortably, and your heart ache. You wish he'd just stop for a moment, lie down, sleep, rest... But asking him to do so would be futile. No amount of begging or pleading will change his mind, especially not now.
You lean forward and catch his lips in a gentle kiss, cupping the side of his face, thumb tracing along his jawline in a manner that's nothing but comforting. He lingers for a moment before pulling back, leaning his forehead against yours, letting out a long breath.
"I'm sorry," he mutters finally, squeezing his eyes shut. "You deserve more than this shit." You reach out and gently pull his head away, forcing his attention onto you instead of whatever he sees in his own mind.
"No. You have nothing to be sorry for," you begin, but he cuts you off sharply.
"No, hon.... I just, I don't get why you stay with me through all of this. It's just..." You watch his expression shift, becoming pensive, and your heart squeezes painfully, knowing exactly what's bothering him.
You run your fingers through his hair again, pulling his head down so that his face is tucked in your neck once more as you rock back and forth gently.
"I'm with you because I love you, Darrel Curtis. I made a promise, a vow, to stick by you through thick and thin, and I don't break my promises."
Darry only hums in response, but you know he heard you. You know from the way he takes your hand in his rougher one, fingers lacing together, wedding rings glinting in the dim lamplight. He squeezes softly; you're gonna be okay. Both of you.
