took the start of this week way too chill because “I have plenty of time for the end of the week deadlines” and then today realised that it is in fact the middle of the week and I gotta hurry tf up now

Normally I hate my room, however...it is my personality. Really.

Have you ever heard this phrase? That your room is a reflection of your brain and personality? well, my room is full of clutter, dirty clothes and...

the most comfortable place I know.

...I need to put more tawog and Monsters Inc stuff in my room :v

I have a lot of products, but they are all dirty or in boxes... ^_^

Spent the past two days trying to make my 4 year plan (possibly might be able to cut out a semester) and have decided to spend the summer studying for organic chemistry so that I can do well when the school year starts again

Thinking about the Dubai appartment again because of this excellent post how magnolia trees are believed to be the earliest flowering plants known to us, existed even before bees did so they had to rely on beetles that fed on their pollen Something about this ancient tree that predates the natural world as we know it, endured the centuries to end up in that cold, barren home. Something about vampires not reproducing through classic human means but through blood and the act of feeding itself.

Hi! Feeling very positive today :) i decluttered my drawer and made it a little less hellish looking. I had a little mood swing in the evening where I didn't want to get out of bed, but I pushed through :D

Had custard with chopped bananas for iftar today :) it's always a yummy food at any temperature, but I prefer it a little cold.

I also decided to do a detailed desk setup thing if you guys want to see, so it's under the cut!

First off! My laptop nook. I use a stand to prop up my laptop, and a whiteboard to jot down quick to-dos (it's @studaxy 's old whiteboard, you might see it in some of their old posts) and my pretty mousepad :)

Rebecca Jay in the background, she's really inspiring! One of my favourite youtubers hands down.

My stationery corner :) i have some highlighters, color pens, and the infamous keyboard for note-taking, journalling, and all other tools that can be accessed easily.

@studaxy got me a storage box for my birthday :) I have pastel brush pens on the outside. On the top tier of the box I keep my whiteboard markers, some paperclips and some other miscellaneous stuff. The small drawers have my medicines, and more thin-strip sticky notes for note-taking and reminders. The big drawers have ink for the whiteboard markers and more miscellaneous things :)

23.03.23 | Trying to organize my life for the next few months

I kind of miss getting to know the interior of other people’s homes. So many of my friendships in adulthood are distant, or long distance/only talking over the phone, difficult to make actual plans with because of Real Life Schedules Now, etc. etc., but like in school and stuff as a kid you can just hang out at someone’s house for a few days, have a sleepover every weekend, etc. etc. I still remember the interior of all of my childhood friend’s homes, I remember all the details to the rooms and the layout of the yards and etc. etc. There’s just something kind of neat about Knowing another person’s housing space, what the décor says about them, the history of how they came to live there and their household routines and what it’s like, etc. I feel like it can be an important part of really deeply understanding someone so it’s weird to talk to and vaguely know a handful of people, but also not even know what their bedrooms look like or how they organize the dishes after washing them or etc. etc.

Thought I would start to chronicle my academic world through this studyblr. I’m currently a third-year student at my local university studying to be an English teacher. Soon, I’ll stand before a class and share my infatuation with the syntax, lexicon, and written prose of the beautiful force that is English literature, but for now I’ll just share with you.
