Reading a fanfic but just thinking about how if Peter is thrown into another universe and meets Tony for some reason and Peter is used to Tony being this mentor figure to him. Because in his world he was someone who helped him and taught him. But in this other world Tony doesn’t know him, he just sees a cute lean twink with cute, curly hair and big brown eyes. So imagine the absolute feeling of panic and GAY panic when someone he thought originally as a mentor starts flirting with him and propositioning him.

He’s seen Tony like this before, videos of his past and the flirty banter Stark still kept up later when Peter knew him. But its full young playboy flirting and he can see a completely different look on his face and in his eyes directed at him, something he’d never thought he see, at least not directed at him. And Peter is just speechless, completely thrown off. Tony was his mentor, he didn’t necessarily think of Tony like that. But this isn’t his mentor anymore, this is a competely different Tony, that he could have any future with.

You know, I have been compared to both Elias Bouchard and Peter Lukas before, and while that is a skin crawling experience, today I am finding out that it’s even worse to somehow be implied to be their spawn. There exist many other avatars of the patrons they serve, and besides I am an appreciator of the Vast, not affiliated with the Lonely. Has Peter yapped about Ned to Dick yet + does Dick have any suspicions about Peter’s feelings towards Ned being slightly stronger than normal for best friends? Or is he just like “Boy I’m so happy my son has such a great friend :D It’s so important to have people your age you can talk to, especially as a vigilante, like how I had Wally-”

there's been a couple times he's brought Ned up which seemed like "oh normal best friend things" but after Peter freaked out thinking Ned could even be a little bit in danger in chapter 16 i like to think Dick went "huh" and then started going through every time Peter has mentioned Ned to him. the only person who has really clocked Peter possibly having a crush on Ned is Tim (the fact that this includes Peter himself as not knowing is hilarious to me), because even with the freakout, it's not solid evidence. Peter's only ever talked about one friend, and with the context that Peter missed a couple years of school and was mostly on his own, Dick figures it was a normal reaction to finding out your only friend might be hurt

later on, however, it will be very easy to see, and Dick will go "oh!"

this is a day that older!peter barely remembers, —both of you were drunk, but him was wasted— but the little he does, he hopes it gets buried seven feet under the ground. it's not a moment he hates but still gets super embarrassed for doing it, although deeply inside he enjoys it. and you? well, thanks god peter doesn't know you still keep the printed photos and polaroids of this day till now. iconic pictures of a peter maximoff wearing a cop costume with no shirt, you putting some dollar bills at his waistband; licking his abs; being handcuffed and handcuffing him while you were sitting at his lap. — and this is not even mentioning the compromising ones that you both took alone later while putting the blood to boil in our house.
