“You done figuring out the sound files yet?” Duke asked while tapping on the hood of the Batmobile.

He was excited to hear a campy “Yes, Sir!” Come out of the open windows of the car.

“Neat, first off, any files that have your name in it?” He was a little disappointed, but still snorted to hear the tragic ‘Noooooo’ from Darth Vader.

“I think Red Robin has some pronoun type files in there, what are yours?” A mix of sir’s, dude's, and bro's were played until Duke had to stop the guy.

“Ok, what about age?” He wasn't expecting to get a straight answer, but when the car played a Scooby-Doo cut of ‘those meddling kids’, he was confused.

“So a kid?” Duke questioned. He got a weird mix of 'Ehhh', 'Kinda', and 'close enough' type files.

“We can worry about that later, any ideas how you got stuck?” A short ‘Nope’ with a pop on the P played.

Talking to the car guy was strange. Getting answers could be easy or turn into 20 questions trying to clarify an answer. So far, Duke knew the person:

is male or male presenting

a meta

has no clue how he possessed the car

has a good understanding of current memes

was possibly in their teens (probably a bit younger than Duke, but older than Daimian)

was a street kid? (When asked where he lived the car played “Why should I worry” from an older Disney movie about homeless animals in New York or something. He had to look it up.)

has a good sense of humor

and is taking their situation in stride.

Duke really had to wonder what their life has been where this is not a vast problem to fix…. And whether or not he should argue his ‘notification tone’ being a choir singing.

He really does not get paid enough for this, but it is better than the other stuff Gotham throws at the Bats.

“Mind if I get you up on the lift and check the engine? Might give us some clues.” After an affirmative from the car guy, Duke got to work.

Not to sound like a bitch or anything but why is every HOTD oc the same person. Her name is always Aemma/Visenya Velaryon or some god awful made up Valaryian name. Her dad is never Laenor but instead ser harwin, Daemon, or sometimes Cristion coke. Her lover is always Aemond(Cregan stark is also in love with her too). Aemond ends up defecting to team black and your oc and him win the war. She also rides cannibal or has claimed more than one dragon(you’ll never be Daenerys Targaryen you can’t out do the doer).

(Don’t get me started on how some of y’all will write Rhaenrya as this god awful stereotypical boy mom. When Rhaenyra has always wanted a daughter would spoil the living daylights out of her little girl, no matter who the father was)

Dimitri is a cursed man who can speak with ghost and is married to a demon.

Byleth is a demon summoned by Dimitri's uncle and Corny to get take Dimitri's soul to hell. She instead, marries him (and also glows in the dark 👁️-👁️)

Edelgard is Dimitri's stepsister who can't remember to be part of this family and dislikes to be there (yet, stays because she has access to "stuffs" to do "stuffs").

Rufus is Dimitri's uncle who very much hates his nephew and tries to get rid of him passively (ie, poisons and traps). Dimitri still loves his fam members very much.

Cornelia is a witch and Rufus partner (Only interest because she wants something the Blayddids have). She very much tries to get rid of everyone of this family.

Dedue is Dimitri's Best and most loyal friend but decided to serve him. He doesn't talk much.

envisioning a scene where crowley is begrudgingly accepting that they're gonna have to save the world again and they're trying to come up with some kind of plan but things are uneasy between them and they keep staring at each other when they think the other isn't looking and it's tense and embarrassing and crowley grits his teeth and tries to get on with it, right, angrily describing an idea that is surely ingenious and clever, but Aziraphale suddenly is blinking away a sad teary little expression and staring at him and not looking away and he's close somehow why is he close, when did he get close, and Crowley keeps talking (he does not know what he is saying anymore) until aziraphale simply closes the distance between them, pulling him in with his hands on his face, and kisses him again (again! but also the first time, it's Aziraphale who's kissing him) and the kiss goes from sad to tender to passionate and they break apart (too soon) and crowley tries to reassert any semblance of coolness and control so he inhales, and says, croakily, right. we're still not talking though. and turns and tries to stalk away on his shaky too long legs

if i was edwin payne and a giant inter-dimensional ghost-eating mushroom was about to consume me and my bff of 30+ years on the same day i went out of my way to dress up nice because i literally just figured out i was deeply and completely in love with him and despite my 100+ years of edwardian-era repression i already decided i needed to share this information with him as soon as possible because we are indeed that close, and said best friend/love of my life decided to take his hand off the branch/root thing we were clinging to trying not to get swallowed just so he could put his hand over mine for comfort in what even the evil witch attempting to obliterate us felt the need to comment on for being a sweet final moment, i would simply pass away. again.

Honestly, I forget how little representation there is for ace and aro people every year, until pride month rolls around.

There are all these posts going around recommending queer movies and books and tv shows and comics and what not and it covers most identities and has a wide variety of different stories, but if there is anything with aces or aros included it’s always the same three shows. It’s kinda sad and annoying.

Most (of the few) depictions of asexual and/or aromantic characters are in tv shows aimed at highschoolers, which isn’t wrong, but once you’ve graduated it stops being particularly relatable. I wish I had some extensive history of aro-ace film and literature where I could pick and choose based on my mood and personal preferences. Instead I have to scavenge the internet high and low for something that might possibly have characters that are like me. Wether or not the rest of the plot seems enticing to me be damned.
