And like one day Peter sees Matt on a street corner and he's just "there's no way two universes can have as flamboyant of a blind man!"

Peter knows Matt is daredevil. Matt does not know that Peter knows he's daredevil. Matt doesn't know Peter is Spiderman. He doesn't even know this kid he just knows that two people from the same universe have to stick together.

Shenanigans as Matt tries to keep his daredeviliness a secret.

after the world forgot Peter Parker's existence, Peter moves to Hell's Kitchen, gets a symbiote, and is surrounded by parental vigilantes?

Ever since Peter Parker got bitten by that radioactive spider at 14, everything, from his senses, to his strength, to his durability, has been enhanced. What Peter didn’t know is that his enhanced healing also comes with increased longevity. His cells are aging much more slowly. Thus, a freshly turned 18 year old Peter barely looks 16. Of course, Peter just assumes he has an extreme baby face. Still, when you legally don’t exist, and everyone forgot you even existed, it’s hard to acquire a place of residence for a decent job when he looks nowhere near adulthood.

It turns out the only place even willing to give him a shot and will accept the meager money he has for an apartment is the corrupt Hell's Kitchen.

Sure it’s no Queens, but Peter will do his best to help people out.

All he has now is Spider-man. The world doesn’t need Peter Parker, after all.

So, when an isolated Peter comes across some sentient black goo who gives Peter company. He doesn’t really have it in him to complain. Plus, his new black suit is sick!

Now, if only Daredevil and even the Punisher (and about every other vigilante Peter sees) would just leave him to do his patroling alone and stop trying to be friends (it feels more like parenting, really) with him.

The heat is starting to sink into him now, and he can’t help but pull at the collar of his suit under his shirt, wafting the tiniest breeze against the sweat starting to form there. It can’t be helped really. And come Autumn, he’ll be thankful for the layers.

He doesn’t have to pay much attention to where he’s going. He’s familiar with the walk by now, and though the streets are full of people, none get in his way. Everyone from young teens to office workers to retirees, they all give him a wide birth. Something about the dyed hair and the ‘homeless chic’ look of his well-worn clothes.

That’s why he does it, really.

He learned that a long time ago, in the months just after everything happened, when everything went wrong. Even if people didn’t know him, they would see him. He knows he had a sort of sweet, boyish charm. It’s part of what makes Spider-Man so loveable. But people would look at Peter, and they would smile, and they would want to engage with him. They would want to get to know him.

And if it was someone who knew him from before, well, that made it harder.

After a few too many visits to MJ’s summer job, a few too many run-ins with Happy, and even stopping by Delmar’s after its reconstruction, he could see a pattern. Anyone who knew him before would get headaches, maybe some dizziness. It was like their brain was struggling through the gaps in information.

Peter had been just a little too likable as a kid, so this happened a lot.

It’s why he had to change it.

First impressions mean a lot, he found out. And when he looks like this, people tend to not want to try for a follow-up. They see what he looks like and extrapolate the rest.

It makes it easier for him, too. No one will think that the blunt, run-down, alternative kid is the city’s loveable hero. Sure, they might have thought that sweet and loveable, boy-next-door, Peter Parker could be. But not Pietrovich “Peter” Strakar, the loner with no friends, no family, and a bad attitude.

He's already failing a little at this, though. In all his time since the world forgot, he’d been so careful to not let anyone get too close, no one that could be used against him if it all happened again.

It’s why he has to step away.

He isn’t naive. His identity was discovered once and it could easily happen again. This time, though, it won’t hurt anyone else. It can’t hurt anyone else.

Never again.
