The super friends come to Nia about their gender identity!!
Brainy: he comes to Nia pretty early on. Like once they're friends and either when they start dating or before they start dating. He talks about how his culture didnt really have gender. Just.... Conquest. So when he joined the legion and stuff and they used he, he just went along. But he doesn't really know what it means. And well. He kinda wants to try she. And they. And Xe. Xe is very nice Xe thinks. And Nia is so supportive and helps xem research different identities to try and understand the language more. Xe appreciates the research. Agender sticks out to xem a lot. It just. No gender. Yeah. That fits. So Nia uses Xe/Xem for Brainy and also they make pronoun bracelets together! So if brainy wants to use a different pronoun that day, Nia will know!
Kara: it isn't until she's been friends with Nia for years, hell probably a decade that she talks to Nia about this. Nia helped her with her sexuality crisis a while ago. And now that her and Lena are engaged, Kara is really freaking out over if she identifies with the term "wife". She tells Nia that when Cat first named her Suoergirl, she had outrage over being "girl" when Kal-el was Superman. She accepted Cat's explanation. But it still felt... Wrong. Girl of Steel. Maiden of Might. It just didnt feel.... Right. She thinks back to krypton. About how she had conflicting thoughts even back then. But when she arrived on earth, her whole mission was to blend in. So being queer... Let alone gender nonconforming, was out of the question. So now that she is finally free to be herself. She can't help but dislike being girl. It's not that she doesn't feel girl. It's more like. She's more than that. There's girl and boy and everything in between. She's kara zor-el. Girl doesn't encompass all of that. Nia talks about being nonbinary and gender fluid. Kara likes those, but they don't feel quite right. Then Nia says genderqueer and a comforting warmth explodes in Kara's heart. They talk a bit more about pronouns, and Kara leans more towards they/them. But they do like he/him and occasionally she/her? Cause it's a part of them. Just not all of them. Brainy joins them in helping make pronoun bracelets, happy to share Xer experience with 'gender' and how similar Xe feel. Kara is very happy to have bracelets and to finally get it off their chest. They brainstorm possible new hero names and costumes. Kara isn't sure if they'll go through with a change, but it is really fun to think of new ideas. Maybe they'll give Winn a buzz. Or ask Cat for name suggestions.
Alex: she calls Nia while drunk one night having a breakdown over wanting to be esme's dad. But also being a mom. And it's so confusing because she always wanted to be a mom. So why does she now want to be a dad? Why is now when she likes the idea of growing facial hair. She's already been dressing masculine. But lesbians can be masc. But how can she be a lesbian if she wants to be called sir and he him and Dada. Isn't that a bad lesbian??? Nia comforts her over the phone, and is very tempted to come over to the house and hug her. She explains he/him lesbians exists and are so very valid. And that it's okay to want this. That she's not bad. She asks about if transmasc fits what Alex is thinking, and after a solid fifteen minutes of broken sobs, Alex quietly says "maybe????". Nia reassures them and tells them it's okay. She keeps the conversation light for now, but promises that they can talk about it again when Alex is sober. And they do. And Alex doesn't commit to an identity at first, but does admit that they want to use he/they. Nia congratulates him and Alex is very happy. And then a minute later has a breakdown over if Kelly will still want them. Cause she's a lesbian and don't lesbians not like men? That way at least. Nia reassures him and encourages them to talk to Kelly. Alex has a lot of panic. So they compromise and Nia sits with them while they talk to Kelly over the phone. Kelly is ecstatic to hear Alex' truth and reassures them a thousand times over that she still loves him and no gender identity will ever change that. Hell. She falls in love a little bit more seeing Alex embrace their full self. And seeing them with stubble and hearing esme call him "Dada" warms her heart (and maybe something else too). She loves her spouse and supports him 1000%.

Legends Season 8 Headcanons
Listen this is over a year late but I'm finally coherent enough to give em now that the fandom's more dead than usual–
also some of this is me not liking the writer's choices at the end of s7 and fixing it by Force
(Disclaimer! i am not up to date on the flash or arrow! Or Batwoman! actually i'm only up to date on Legends and Supergirl.)
Instead of the Legends all escaping somehow, they’re stuck in the facility for a month.
Everyone’s learning how to be good time cops, and getting the unpredictability wired out of them, and then–
Oh, fuck. Rip’s not dead. Since when was he not dead? Who knows.
Rip and Jonah Hex are here. And apparently Jax, Ray and Nora, Amaya, Mick, Wally, Lily Stein and Nia Nal are here, too.
Yeah, Nia’s boyfriend also got caught by the time cops, so she’s busting him out and we decided to just join forces. The dream powers were useful when we were trying to find you lot.
Wait, this is where the old time master HQ was?
Fuck.
Welp, time to make it go boom.
Hey, is that an alternate version of Sara–
Okay, okay, everyone’s out and on another alternate waverider, but who the fuck is–
Oh, Necrians grow incredibly fast and that’s Mick’s kid? Sweet.
So, there’s like half a season left–
Oh, right. Alun.
Welp, shouldn’t be hard to make Past Gwyn think Alun is dead so he invents time travel while Current Gwyn and Alun elope in the 21st century.
Update: This man is a scourge on humanity and Alun almost gave it away so many fucking times–
He and Gwyn are societal menaces.
Oh, right. Sara’s pregnant.
She gets coached through giving birth by a combination of Gideon, Lita, and Alex Danvers, who is guest starring this episode to drag Brainy and Nia back and has helped with way too many births of a similar nature.
Isn’t Nate still in the–
Oh, right. Time shenanigans. Zari Tomaz and Nate realized when they were stuck together that they actually are not the same people they once were and Nate is projecting. Oops.
Right person/wrong time. With both Spooner and Nate.
While Ava and Sara are basking in the glow of motherhood, well–
Gwyn and Alun deal with their shit. Finally.
Man /broke time/ for Alun and the man in question is getting hit with a ton of shit at once. I think this time it’s not Ava who goes in and fixes shit, it’s either Amaya (who got plucked from her time into a world of chaos) or Nate (hc’d experience as a repressed queer person who didn’t realize he loved someone until it was too late twice)
Give us an Alun who realized he might like a guy and freaked the hell out. Give me an Alun going through the same 12 stages of WTF Gwyn and Amaya and everyone else time-displaced did. Give me an Alun who doesn’t know what the hell to do and a Nate and Amaya who say neither did we.
An Alun who knows he ain’t ready for a meaningful relationship but goddamn, Gwyn looks like he missed him. An Alun who says That’s My Friend! I Love My Friend! Immediately regardless of how things have changed.
Give me a Nate and Amaya who realize that somewhere along the lines, they changed, too.
The season in my head has ten episodes total– 2 of the Legends getting the fuck out and blowing the prison/time organization up (a la Time Masters Oculus), 1 of massive reunions and 'wow shit's changed' and introductions, 2 of Alun Subplot (because as previously stated, he and Gwyn are tricky shits and it feels like they'd need Outside Help still), 1 Sara's Still Pregnant and Alun's Having A Crisis, one final crossover episode as all the OG shows say goodbye in Style with a chaotic Smell party and get their proper endings if cancelled, and then three that's just straight 'Goodbye, we loved you, thanks for watching the Arrowverse' as characters resolve their final issues to the backdrop of chaotic historical, magical, and temporal missions.
What happens at the end of the season, you ask?
Everyone goes home, whatever that looks like for them. Mick and Kayla and Gideon and Gary and whoever else end up taking over the waverider.
I loved legends of tomorrow. Joined after season 3, had Thoughts but mostly it ended up just coming down to 'this is a chaotic adventure and i'm glad it existed, however briefly'. This show deserved an ending, here's mine.

Nyssa Al Ghul: lesbian (?), seen in Arrow (n mayb other stuff)
her and sara are so cute, and it’s so sad to see her and her families relationship☹️
Leonard Snart: bisexual/gay (idk which), seen in Flash & Legends of Tomorrow
my #2 bisexual!! supa cool and him n mick r sweet 🫶

2021 probably wasn't the year we expected, but I chose to remember it for HOW GAY IT WAS on tv! (at least lesbian/bi women wise)
I've seen not one, but 3 woman loving woman weddings and many more of wlw ladies flirt and couples being canon.
AvaLance wedding (Legends of Tomorrow)
Tumblr media
Dansen wedding (supergirl)
Tumblr media
Maze x Eve wedding (Lucifer)
Tumblr media
Other canon wlw ships in 2021:
Delicious flirthing between Sophie and Ryan (batwoman)
Tumblr media
Camina Drummer (crush on Naomi, polyamorus including Oksana) (the expanse)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moiraine Sedai x Siuan Sanche (the wheel of time)
Tumblr media
SPECIAL MENTIONS :
Special mention to Yaz x Thirteen, cause in Doctor Who New Year special they both admitted their feelings about each other but not to each other (YET). In progress, but Yaz having romantic feelings for the Doctor is canon.
Tumblr media
Equally special mention to Star Trek for confirmed bisexual Mariner in Lower Decks, confirmed upcoming flirting between Seven x Raffi (Picard) and special mention to Discovery for all their current Queer characters!
Tumblr media
And finally high five to Supergirl for the first trans super hero that i adore! Nia Nal!
Tumblr media
Thanks 2021 for saying yes to LGTBQ+ RIGHTS!

So I wrote a post the other day about how annoyed I was at Black Lightning’s cancellation. So, some random guy on the internet tried to mansplain to me as to why I needed to get over it because the CW’s treatment isn’t as bad as I think it is. Thank you to @legends-of-shield for replying to that guy, I’ve since blocked him. And thank you to @i-prefer-the-fictional-world and @badwolf-timeandspace for adding excellent additions in response to him.
Now, I just wanted to highlight in this post some problems regarding the women, PoC, and Queer people who work for the CW. Anyone who sees this, please feel free to add on because I’m only going to talk about things I’m aware of, and don’t want to spread any misinformation.
First off, Candice Patton has been treated like SHIT by the CW for years. She has been attacked by ‘fans’ of the Flash because she plays a Black Iris West. She’s endured racist attacks, sexist attacks, and hateful remarks during her time there. Only when push came to shove to Grant Gustin finally say that he supported Candice. Iris had zero agency in a storyline that was about her death. She had no storylines outside of Barry since mid-way season 2, I believe. Then, when she seems to be getting a really awesome storyline in season 6, they throw her into the Mirrorverse where she basically stands around and talks to Eve. Iris gets sidelined way too often for someone who is the second protagonist of the Flash. Like for fuck’s sake, Arrow let their female characters do more.
Danielle had to basically put her foot down when the producers and writers wanted her to have yet ANOTHER love interest in season 4. She was tired of Caitlin’s storylines being her falling in love with someone who either leaves or betrays them. They were going to pair her up with Ralph. Imagine being considered one of OG trio who are supposedly the smartest people in Central City yet your storylines are you falling in love...again and again.
Kara Danvers has lost agency in her own story multiple times. As a Supergirl fan, it is really hard to constantly watch her shoved to the side in favour of what? Mon-El’s character development? Winn coming back for a pointless two-parter? Then there is the lack of proper screen time for Nia Nal, and Alex in recent seasons. Alex’s adoption storyline who? Nia having ONE episode in all of season 5 in favour of Lex and William? The reason why Dansen isn’t as popular as it should be isn’t from lack of trying, it’s from the fact that time that could have been spent on them was spent of Willy and his backstory episode, or Lex and Lillian having evil conversations about how evil they are. (No hate on Jon, because he is amazing, but too much focus was on Lex). Oh, maybe Kelly should also be allowed to have a storyline, or is that too much to ask?
China Anne McClain released a video yesterday, and it turns out that the CW DIDN’T BOTHER TO EVEN TELL THEM BLACK LIGHTNING WAS DONE AFTER THIS SEASON. They literally figured out the news the same time we did. That is awful.
Vanessa Morgan told the world that she was being paid less than all her white co-stars. Toni hasn’t had a legitimate storyline since season 2. I swear to God that her only lines in season 5 were “hey babe” “babe” and “Cheryl.” She went from badass Serpent Queen to Girlfriend of Cheryl. How disappointing.
Oh, and what about Cheryl? Her role was radically reduced the last couple of seasons as well. For what reason? Not super clear.
Then poor Veronica has her weird daddy fetish storyline that has legit been going on since season 2. PLEASE GIVE CAMILLA SOMETHING TO WORK WITH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Now, what happened to Green Arrow and the Canaries? The show has been stuck in limbo hell for 10 months now. This is really disappointing when you know that there were a lot of people, even people who maybe didn’t like Dinah, Laurel 2, or Mia, were excited to see it happen. Instead, you slap us in the face with Superman & Lois. THEN IT TURNS OUT THAT S&L HAS HAD A LOT OF SHIT GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES BEFORE IT EVEN HAS AIRED UGH.
Firing a black, female writer because they dared to make a point of picking out the very large flaws in your show? Sounds about right. Quietly letting Andrew Kreisberg even though multiple women complained about him being a sexual predator? Hmm super not okay. The only reason why they made a statement about Hartley Sawyer was because so many people complained. And let’s not forget the countless times they have allowed toxic people in the fandoms to get away with this kind of bullshit behaviour.
I’m going to stop here for now. These are just a few examples of how the female, PoC, and Queer people have been treated on and off screen. Like I said above, please add on if you know anything. I’m tired of being told to shut up and be happy with what we’ve got, because what we’ve gotten so far is scraps. Thanks if you read this far.

Okay, I don’t watch many CW shows (literally only Arrow and Supernatural) so does it actually misrepresent the LGBT+ community? Because from what I know, it had plenty of shows, all with queer rep. Legends of Tomorrow has a canon main couple, Sara and Ava. Sara is bi and Ava is a lesbian (i think, I haven't watched it). Plus John Constantine  is bi (I think, again that’s what i heard). Nyssa Al Ghul was also a queer character. They have a show with a Queer female lead, Batwoman. In Supergirl, one of the main characters (Alex Danvers) is a lesbian. Riverdale has a canon queer couple with Cheryl and Toni. Oliver Queen’s son, William is gay. Nia Nal from Supergirl is trans. On eof Black Lightning’s daughters is a lesbian as well.  So what’s up? Are all of these terribly represented, plus what happened to supernatural so that’s why everyone is calling them homophobic and queerphobic? Or is it only Supernatural with bad representation?

Here's the problem with cw they are going with quantity over quality. Yes there are more LGBTQ+ characters but the way they treat them is horrible. The100 with Lexa. The Originals killing all the gays. And I could keep continue. The way Riverdale treats the LGBTQ characters it's just horrible. It's not just one show all of their shows are like that. And yes you can say it's not CW but the bosses all agreed with that storylines.
i think quantity over quality is potentially a fair criticism (though in this case i don’t think the two should be presented as mutually exclusive, ideally we want both). and while the network’s track record isn’t fantastic or flawless, supergirl does have Dreamer/Nia Nal, the first trans superhero on TV, and played by a trans woman, as well as Alex, a lesbian. Batwoman has also had multiple wlw storylines. Legends of Tomorrow has Sarah Lance. Roswell New Mexico has both mlm and wlw queer characters and stories. The network is more than its worst examples; not every queer person is going to resonate with every queer character or think they qualify as “good representation,” but other queer people may. that’s actually the benefit of “quantity over quality” when the quality is hit or miss. you have more chances to hit.
the cw DOES have a “bury your gays” problem; my point isn’t to unilaterally let them off every hook. it’s entirely correct to say that we still deserve better and should continue to demand better from television and media across the board. but criticizing the network based on this broad flaw is not the same as blaming network executives for behavior that the writers, producers, and directors of supernatural specifically have always demonstrated. i would also classify the 100 as having the same problem as supernatural, with the disdain they showed for their audience that goes beyond anything to do with the network. i don’t know enough about the originals or riverdale to comment on those shows specifically. but, as my initial post pointed out, shows like Teen Wolf, Merlin, Sherlock, Voltron, and I would also add The Magicians to this as well, are not on the CW but demonstrate the same pattern of behavior as Supernatural (to varying degrees of extremity)
again, we deserve better from the CW, and from television and media as a whole. but i don’t think it’s a healthy narrative to look for proof of conspiracy from a network that, despite its flaws, does have a better track record than many, rather than hold the show supernatural itself to account for the behavior its writers, directors, and producers have demonstrated from day one.

For your queer rep post:
Apologies if I've misremembered anyone's exact/correct label! I tried to look for those I wasn't positive, but hopefully others will speak up and correct me if I'm off!

Also, anything Shira Glassman writes is full of beautiful queer rep, so there's some characters there, too, but I've only read a couple short stories and don't have the books on me, so can't remember specific characters.
Queercoded
Valkyrie (bisexual, coded because they cut the scene confirming her queerness - may count as canon?) from Thor: Ragnarok/Avengers Endgame Jughead (aromantic asexual, coded because the comics apparently took back their confirmation of his asexuality) from Archie Comics Crystal Gems (not binary) from Steven Universe Otis (asexual) from Sex Education Felicity Montague (aromantic asexual) from Lady's Guide to Petticoat's and Piracy
Headcanon (fanon)
Charlie Weasley (aromantic asexual) from Harry Potter Schneider (bisexual) from One Day At A Time Sherlock Holmes (asexual, may be coded?) from pretty much all iterations Rebecca Bunch (heteroflexible) from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (not so much fanon, but there's a quote about how she's open but not really bi/doesn't consider herself bi IIRC) Tahani (lesbian) from The Good Place Amari (lesbian) from Children of Blood and Bone Zélie Adebola (bisexual) from Children of Blood and Bone Daisy Johnson (bisexual) from Agents of SHIELD Voyd (nonbinary) from The Incredibles II
And this is just off the top of my head. I may be back later if I think of more before you make a post!

Destiheller Myth: CW isn’t doing well in minority representation compared to the other networks
Fact: This is at best a deliberately disingenuous twisting of the truth, because they use this “statement” to prop up their demands to make Destiel canon when in actual fact, the issue with CW is not actually anything to do with lgbtq+ (in relation to the other networks which is the Heller’s argument).  There is absolutely no excuse for blindly regurgitating this myth without fact checking which is easily done.  Here is the link to GLAAD’s full 2018 report which people should read for themselves;
http://glaad.org/files/WWAT/WWAT_GLAAD_2018-2019.pdf
In terms of LGTBQ+, Glad have this to say: “GLAAD is calling on the industry to make sure that within the next two years, 10 percent of series regular characters on primetime scripted broadcast series are LGBTQ.”
CW is already above this target with 16% representation and are #1 in this category, way ahead of the 4 other networks.
Tumblr media
Here’s what GLAAD had to say about CW in this section of the report;
“Two other shows which have included stand out bi+ storylines – The CW’s Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – are airing their final seasons this year.
GLAAD is looking forward to another CW show, Supergirl, which will make history by introducing the first transgender superhero with Nia Nal/Dreamer who is portrayed by trans actress and advocate Nicole Maines. This is a huge step as a story that audiences have never seen explored by a trans character. Berlanti has consistently included groundbreaking LGBTQ characters in the network’s comic series including Alex on Supergirl; Sara, Ava, and Constantine on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow; Curtis on Arrow; and Anissa/Thunder on Black Lightning.
Out actress Ruby Rose will guest star in this fall’s crossover episodes as lesbian hero Batwoman, and scripts are currently being developed for a possible spin-off series centered on her.” [Which is in production for 2019-2020]
Where CW stacks up in the other minority categories (please note, I have used Glaad’s own wording for the categories they use):
Gender (CW is #1) - Target would be 51% to represent the US population.  CW lead in this category against the other major networks with 46%.  Glaad said this in their report: “The CW comes the closest to accurately representing the gender composition of this country with 46 percent of the network’s series regular characters being women. This is an increase of six percentage points from the previous year.”
Race (CW is #2) - NBC lead with 47% of regular characters being POC, with CW being a very close second with 46%.
Black (CW is not listed) - Fox lead with 35% of regular characters being black, NBC are next at 25% and no details are provided for the other networks in the report, so yes, there is a lot more work for CW to do here.  Bring back the witch twins and give them a spin off!
Latinx (CW is  #1) - US population reported to be 17%.  “The CW by far continues to lead the other broadcast networks with the highest percentage of Latinx series regulars, with 12 percent of the network’s series regulars counted as Latinx.”
Asian-Pacific Islanders (CW is #4) - % of US population reported to be Asian-Pacific Islanders is not listed.  ABC leads the other networks with 11% representation, CW is 4th at 5.8% so another area for them to do some work on.
Disabilities (CW is #2) - 13% of US population have disabilities.  All networks are falling short of representing this with just 2.1% of regular characters with disabilities.  CW is second (with 4 characters) to NBC (with 6 characters).  Though 4 of the 6 on NBC have cancer while CW have 2 lead disabled characters, “Rebecca Bunch on Crazy ExGirlfriend who lives with borderline personality disorder, and Murphy on the new series In the Dark is blind. Another new character is Sgt. Alex Manes on the reboot Roswell, New Mexico, a queer veteran with mobility issues, and physical and mental trauma from being at war. Raven on The 100 also has mobility issues.”

A rant about LGBTQ+ representation in media and my mom
Before you read, keep in mind that this is my opinion. You don’t have to agree with it, and you are welcome to express your own opinion. I only ask you to keep an open mind. I think that we have a problem with LGBTQ+ movies. First of all, a movie shouldn’t be classified as that. You don’t hear people saying “oh it’s a straight movie” in a conversation, unlike, for example, when my mom discovered Call Me By Your Name (among others) and said “oh it’s a gay movie.” So for the sake of this, lets say that LGBTQ+ movies are those about someone finding out their sexuality, being confused, coming out of the closet, maybe get a relationship, dealing with acceptance and/or prejudice... *Sigh* How many of you are tired of watching this same story over and over. How many movies did just pop into your mind? Is it too much to ask for movies (and tv shows while we’re at it) where the sexuality of a character isn’t their defining trait? Isn’t the focus of the story? Or it might be, but then they come out of the closet and then what? (This last point is more directed to movies though) Give me a sci-fi movie (or better yet a book) where the main character is queer but that isn’t the focus. Heck, give me another Sara Lance! Or another Nia Nal. That being said, my mother (a very straight white woman), says and defends that it’s not a problem, it’s a process (which I agree), but we shouldn’t be “whining” so much because we already have movies dedicated to us (so really she missed the whole point), while there aren’t any about, for example, women who can’t vote and are forced to marry as children. You know, that stuff you see on the news? She says we’re way better off than those women, than emigrants, etc. And I mean... ok, yeah, but she just discovered those problems. And is that invalidating the lack of representation we face? And I’m not even going to talk about lesbian representation in movies, the Bury Your Gays Troop, and Queerbaiting. Those are problems on their own and deserve their own rant. (Yes, The 100, I’m looking at you). Although, alright, I’ll admit that it’s way better now than just a few years ago. We now have Euphoria, Legends of Tomorrow (like I’ve said before, Sara Lance), Gentleman Jack, One Day At a Time, Orphan Black, Lucifer (We all love that pan devil, I had to had him here)... But I think we should keep asking for more like this. We have to keep “whining” so people in the right places know what we want. Besides there’s also a clear lack of representation when it come to asexuality, polyamory (give me more like Siren), fluid sexuality, gender fluid, etc.
What do you think? And I losing my mind? Is my mom right? You welcomed and encouraged to share your opinion.

Arrowverse LGBTQ-Headcon
Die Euro Pride ist zwar schon vorbei, aber der ganze Juni ist Pride-Month. Und ich bin erst jetzt dazu gekommmen diesen Post zu machen. Hier ist er also:
Curtis Holt- canonically Gay
Oliver Queen - Oliver is very straight, thank you very much, except for the fact that he is head over heel in love with Barry, but he that’s okay, he is also head over heels in love with Kara, and has never stopped loving Laurel and loved Felicity and Sara at the same time, so ... well he just loves and most of the time does not act on it.
Nyssa al Gul - canonically Lesbian.
Thea Queen - there were boys before Roy, and one after him, then there was Roy again, and the only person she would leave Roy for is probably Nyssa .. so slightly bi-curios, I think.
Roy Harper - There were girls before Thea, but since then it was only ever Thea.
Dinah Drake - Dinah is demi-sexual and has not had real interest in anyone since Vince died. That thing with Black Siren does not count.
Laurel Lance Earth-2 - Omnisexual and she wants Dinah pretty bad.
William Clayton - Canonically Gay.
Sara Lance - Canonically Bi-Sexual.
Barry Allen and Iris West - Two gorgeous Bi-Sexuals in Love, who have always been open about that, and might have rated their classmates in there teenage years together. Joe has always known, and there was a time when he wasn’t really sure which of his kids would end up with his partner Eddie or if both of them would end up with him.
Eddie Thawne - Bi and proud of it. Had a cursh on Barry that was not very subtile. Iris knew about that and might have teased him about it.
Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost - Caitlin is Straight, but Killer Frost is Lesbian. Which explains the lack of any love life since the two of them made up. Because it’s complicated.
Cisco Ramon - While straight, Cisco marches with his friends on every Pride.
Wally West - Other than his actor mainly straight, sorry.
Ralph Dibny - Less Hetero, more Sexual. But mainly alone and unknowingly looking for a woman named Sue.
Julian Albert - Demi-sexual, mostly. Except for Barry, whom he did not love, thank you very much, that was just lust. Or wasn’t it? Colour him Confused.
Nora West-Allen - canonically Queer, does Prefer Woman.
David Singh - canonically Gay.
Eobard Thawne - Used to be a Flash-Fanboy in every sense of the word, in his Harrison Wells Persona his feeling for Barry turned fatherly.
Leonard Snart - Omnisexual. Hits on everything that moves.
Mick Rory - Like his partner. Omnisexual. Likes to comment on pretty persons prettyness.
Ray Palmer - Bi-sexual and out.
Nate Heywood - Bi but only ever had realationships with women, but he would not say no to some of his male teammates (not Ray though, Ray is his brother!).
Amaya Jiwe - Comes from thr 1940s and did consider sleeping with someone without courting a big thing, so ... only bi-curios in alternate timelines, but somewhere deep inside that’s what she is.
Zari Tomaz - Bi-Sexual but very repressed.
Rip Hunter - Mostly Straight und Widower. Might join a Legends-Orgy though.
Ava Sharpe - Canonically Lesbian.
Gary Green - Canonically Bi-Sexual.
John Constantine - Canonically Bi-Sexual.
Charlie - As a shapeshifter Charlies has No Fixed Gender or Sex , neither a fixed sexual orientation. Pan-Sexual might be true here.
Leo Snart Earth X - Canonically Gay.
Ray Terrill - Canonically Gay. Leos Husband.
Alex Danvers - Canonically Lesbian.
Kara Danvers, Mon-El, Clark Kent etc. - Neither Kryption nor Daxamite Society was Hetero-Normative. Having grown up on Earth Clark was always surprised by this news, but on principal every Kryptonion or Daxamite Character is open to all.
Maggie Sawyer - Canoncially Lesbian.
Cat Grant - Pan-Sexual but while she appreaciated Karas looks she was very aware of the fact that she was Karas boss and older than the younger woman and Cat is a professional.
Sam Arias - Had Rub as a teenager and found out she was Gay afterwards. I always thought, that if she survived Season 3, she would become Alexs new love interest, but we all know what happend instead.
Lena Luthor - Might be bi-curious, but mainly goes for men.
Brainy - Idenfifiies as Male and Pan-Sexual.
Nia Nal - Trans Woman, interested in Men.
Imra Adreen - Supergirl-Fangirl and was very excited about meeting her, otherwise straight, but neither Mon-El nor Kara thought about asking, so their loss.
Winn Schott - Straight but open minded.
Kely Olsen - I have not seen the second half of season 4 yet, but she is Alexs New Love Interest, isn’t she? So Lesbian, I think.
James Olsen - Straight, but supportive.
Kate Kane - Canonically Lesbian.
The other main characters are like portrait in Canon. Most of them are straight, except for Hartley and the signicifant others of Curtis. Captain Singh et all. And Spencer Young was a love Interest for Nora (but the dropped that storyline) and so was Weather Witch (instead ot Spencer it seems).

#ShareYourPride - Day 4
Tumblr media
Alexander Hamilton - it may not have made it into the broadway production, but Alexander Hamilton exchanged love letters with John Laurens.
Tumblr media
Nia Nal, aka Dreamer, trailblazed in the show Supergirl as the first transgender superhero on television!
Tumblr media
Spongebob is canonically asexual and gender nonconforming. Many see him as genderfluid, pan, trans, and all manner of queer labels.
Tumblr media
Elena and Syd are from the show One Day At A Time (the reboot) which has, tragically, been cancelled. But their wonderful relationship and representation is invaluable.
Tumblr media
Ava Lance (and her relationship with Sara Lance) is both canon and part of the show Legends of Tomorrow, which has a diverse (and very gay) set of characters!
Tumblr media
Kat's journey to discover her own sexuality has taken many turns in The Bold Type and while the show isn’t typically the kind I enjoy watching, I enjoyed watching her character grow.
Tumblr media
Batwoman’s Kate Kane (and her successor, Ryan Wilder) are both canon lesbians with complex sapphic relationships on screen.
Tumblr media
I’ve posted more moodboards like this in the past, but it would take quite a bit of scrolling to find, them. Regardless, I hope you enjoy!
