I’m very sorry, I know that you have just uploaded Omega Idia’s writing but you have more thoughts about him or Vil? I really would like to know what you think, I adore the omegas and not many people are willing to write for them
Don't feel pressure to respond, it’s fine if you don’t want to. Have a lovely night ✨
i was going to use this as an excuse to post my “omegas dealing with wife plots” bc you know, i am delaying this for six months already and it would be two rabbits with one rock kind of situation, but i thought better i guess, very late response too haha
Omega!Idia is the type of boyfriend who programm websites on special days, he makes those types of websites that ask you questions like “will you be my forever mate?” “go on a date with me?”, but anytime you try to press “no” the button runs away from you.
He will melt if you make a papercraft action figure of a character he likes, literally would place it in a shrine if he had the chance, he can feel all the love in the craft and just that is almost enough to send him into heat.
Omega!Idia is not picky on how you spend time together, he loves quality time, but sometimes his social battery is too exhausted to really interact, he may be tinkling with his projects while you stay in the background, reading most recent updates of books and comics he enjoys, play cozy games together when he feels like not putting too much effort, or more strategic games that require more skill, though he gets embarrassed afterwards if he crashes out too much in front of you.
Since he has an idea on how his future is going to be, he begins to prepare to make space for you. Even when he could hire you into S.T.Y.X through nepotism, he is diligent in teaching you the basics of engineering, however, he could always find another job within the organization for you, if you're not interested in this part of the line of work. Idia also assures you that he is able to be the provider, “let me worry about the rest, you just stay there and be sexy” or so he says.
Omega!Vil prepares little gifts for you, everything he does has a touch of perfection, so nothing better to gift you than something that was made by his hands or had his input during creation. He is most proud of creating scent blockers that are an almost perfect copy of your smell. Vil is not a fan of how open you are with your emotions through your scent, so he insists that you use it in public - he will be offended if you wear it during your private time with him though.
It's pretty hard to choose a gift for him, Vil is picky and anything he wants he can get. He is, however, a great admirer of effort, serve him your heart on a plate and he will forever be trapped around your finger.
Omega!Vil really wishes to be the last to leave the stage, when he is feeling particularly down for never acquiring his desired roles, he likes to roleplay with you. He will be a prince, and you a loyal knight, he takes hours rambling about worldbuilding and lore. And the final scenes end with both of you living happily ever after, as it should be.
Vil knows the world can't ever remain static, but for you, he wishes that was possible. You are his little world, able to fit in the palm of his hands, enveloped in a little bubble where no one can judge nor intervene, no bad eyes to mouth curses to you. If he could, this would be his forever. At the same time, he has plans to forever be a public figure, where his only obstacle is himself and his ideals, night after night, he thinks how to soften the blow of your relationship going public. It's no matter though, as long as you stay with him, Vil will find a way.

Imagine the Spiderverse characters meeting Miguel's assistant
Including: Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, Hobie Brown, Pavitr Prabhakar Miguel O'Hara, Peter B. Parker
Miles Morales - Miles is taken to meet Miguel and he was warned of his cold exterior but he wasn't warned about Miguel's assistant and her bubbly persona. You walk in and instantly his eyes are diverted from Miguel to you as you introduce yourself. You smile at the group and apologise for Miguel's bad mood as well as shaking Miles' hand upon meeting him and he swears he'll never wash that hand. Now he definitely wants to joining the Spider Society if he gets to see you everyday, after a while he comes back to see you asking you cute little questions and using bad pick up lines.
Gwen Stacy - Gwen also meets you when meeting with Miguel except it's not in his office, it's when she is 'enlisted' to the Spider Society. You saved her from the anomaly and whilst you did, she couldn't tear her eyes off of you and didn't snap out of it until Miguel was shouting at her to help. Afterwards, every time she saw Miguel, you'd be near (as his assistant) and she'd make up excuses to get to talk to you despite her awkward exterior. This includes 'bumping' into you when you go to lunch as she knows your schedule and checking with Miguel for the smallest of things.
Hobie Brown - You were actually the one who spoke to Hobie first at the Spider Society. Lots of people were put off by his 'extreme' exterior but you just thought he looked cool and naturally you wanted to tell him. Hobie was slightly confused by the small woman walking up to him and when you started complimenting his punk pins he was even more confused but also intrigued. He found out you liked similar music to him despite you're 'normal-looking' attire and he basically fell in love with you: the cute girl who liked punk music.
Pavitr Prabhakar - Pavitr was a relatively new Spiderman and was struggling to get to grips with certain skills so Miguel assigned you to helping him as you were of similar age. As soon as Pavitr saw you walk out from the portal in your Spider suit he was hooked and when he saw you take off your mask? He was even more hooked, sticking to your side throughout missions less for the safety aspect but more for the closeness and even after you've finished the short mentor programme with him he still hangs around you at the Spider Society not that you minded. You were perfectly happy having the puppy like boy following you around, keeping you company.
Miguel O'Hara - Miguel had a habit of scaring off every assistant assigned to him but that stopped entirely when you were hired. He expected you to be the same, nervous girl he always gets assigned but when you walked in you brought a couple of empanadas with you (not knowing his obsession with the food) which immediately gave him a good impression of you. After days of you working for him, his harsh stares became softer just for you and he understood the reactions you received from other Spider people that came to meet him. Afterall even he couldn't resist you're cute smile and friendly persona.
Peter B. Parker - When Peter met you he didn't know that you were Miguel's assistant but that probably only made him like you even more. You met when he bumped into you, after all he's not the most self aware of Spidermen. He was surprised to see such a unique Spiderperson as when everyone's wearing the same suit it's hard to stick out but you're kindness and friendliness really melted his heart. He, like Gwen, would make excuses to come and see you, his friendship with Miguel making it easier to come up with things. It's always "I need to show Miguel this new food from the canteen" or "I need to tell Miguel something I remembered about Miles" although he always means "I just wanna see (y/n)" and Miguel always knows.

Okay, you know how City Spirits are a thing?
And Superheros both Die, Un-Die, Re-Die, Dimensionally Sorta Maybe Die But Then Don't, and also never Died in the first place? And probably do at least a portion of that in Medical? While ALSO hanging out, quantumly maybe Dead, maybe alive, in their Super Cool Clubhouse?
Which is ALSO exposed to space rays, the entirety of The Magic Club, weird alien Technology, aaaaand whatever they decide to store on it??
:T
I'm just SAYING...
For as long as dwellings Of Significance have existed, there have been house spirits. They are the IDEA of the house. The SIGNIFICANCE of it. What makes it HOME. The weight of the halls that turn into Halls. And The Watchtower? Is KNOWN to enough people, to have SIGNIFICANCE.
It's a HALL where Heros Live. A Place Of Safety. It GAURDS.
It is also inanimate. Steeped heavily in every sort of energy, be it magic or science, and multidimensional fuckery imaginable. But? Not SENTIENT. Yet.
Until of course... this new fangled Anti-Ghost Shield comes out. By the new and recently no-longer on the run (from the Goverment they're at war with) Dr.'s Fenton! Why were they are war? Don't worry about it!
They Won.
:)
Unrelated! Never threaten their kids. They WILL find you. Not a threat, just informing!
:) :)
The security guy they sent to the expo was from Gotham, unfortunately. So he found the couple to be completely normal. They? Should not have sent Thomas. He was hired BECAUSE his parents were Mad Scientists in the making. Batman was steering him away from a life of crime. Thomas could judge "normal" from "deeply unhinged" if it belly danced infront of him, in the seduction dance of a thousand, deep fried, mackerel.
It's his version of face blindness. Great with technology though! And the shield worked a treat. Even promised to be both ethical AND programmable! Not harming the ghosts it pushed out unless they try to force entry AND allowing them to program in exceptions. Allowing Heros such as Deadman to freely enter!
Is it a little janky looking? Yeah. But if it works, it works. They add it to the systems and flip it on.
One small and immediate problem. There is now a small knight shaped child in the engine room. She was NOT there a second ago. She has controlo of the ENTIRE Watchtower, claims to BE the Watchtower, and knows all their names. Knows a disturbing level of information about every employee on the Tower.
Oh and apparently "No one is leaving."
No one panic! Just unplug the... she has swallowed the ghost shielding unit into a wall. Slightly panic.
Panic lite.
Luckily, no one is willing to throw the first punch at what appears to be a small child. So the JLA Dark have a chance to literally run over.
They demand to know who's bright idea it was to add... "ectoplasm"? Was THAT the energy source? Oooh. Their departments probably in trouble. Later though, the hero's are trying to negotiate with a small child. Who is apparently a ghost.
It's not SAFE, she's insisting. Everyone has to stay HERE where she can protect them. From the nebulous threat of Bad Guys. They LEAVE and come back HURT. She is UPSET and everyone is going to STAY! Forever!
Not good.
Then Thomas pipes up, like the oblivious asshole he is, that he should PROBABLY call the engines makers. They did mention something a long these lines might happen.
WHAT.
You think, Thomas? Might be a good idea, maybe? Just a bit? YES FUCKING CALL THEM!
(All right, all right! No need to YELL! *ring ring* 'Ello? Maddie? Sorry to catch you at dinner-)
So now? There is a glowing college student, who was escorted here by a WEREWOLF, who just? Tore open reality? To some green, swirling hellscape? And popped through like "sup, sorry I'm late. Was in a council meeting!" And judging by the ficking CROWN and the various quietly panicking magic users, he probably didn't mean student council, and just?
Guess he's hear to talk to their newly sentient Tower.
Question! Asks Thomas, of the fucking Ghost King because of course he does, are they Dads now? Or if they already have kids, Dads AGAIN? Do they have to come up with a baby name?
.......oh dear lord, the Ghost King looks like he has to think about it.
What are we gonna tell our SPOUSES!? "Hey honey, guess what I got at work today! A NEW CHILD. They're a space station!"

finally finished episode 1 (and 0, before that, before you ask) of Of The Devil and as a certified american, internet user, acting (and game development) student, i felt it imperative to share my opinion of this project. im writing this at 4 am and while half-tipsy so if you see typos, no you dont.
the following includes significant spoilers for both episodes 0 and 1 of Of The Devil so if you havent played it, you might want to Not read this!
im just gonna go ahead and start with what i think overall: THIS IS A REALLY GOOD FUCKING GAME. Like, REALLY REALLY GOOD. Like, I enjoyed this more than many of my attempts and experiences to play some of its inspirations (re: ace attorney, danganronpa) which is NOT me hating those inspirations; i am saying the innovations and unique creative decisions made to set Of The Devil apart from other titles in the murder mystery genre of games has made it what i love about it.
starting with general Things I Love:
Character Writing: name one boring character in this game. (spoiler alert: impossible!) this game has mastered an art of bringing charm and whimsy to a variety of characters who vary in age, design, occupation, relation to one another--without a single stale mark among any of them. every character is multi-dimensional. yes, emma is a perpetually tired nerd, but also yes, she is a ruthless, meticulous, prompt, dedicated lawyer who has a repeated record of having beat morgan in trial several times over, and will come running at 4 am to work.
yes, morgan is a hard-ass. also yes, she is a murderer. also yes, she is a criminal defense attorney. also yes, she is the most trusted ally of david ashur--a world-renowned programmer--and has killed on his behalf before without remotely being asked to do so. yes, she has taken serra under her wing and hired her. yes, she refers to serra as it and questions serra's independent thought on several occasions. yes, she begins to accept serra's opinions, quips, and muses more, and in her mind, refers to her as spearmint (out of endearment? teasing?). hell, yes, she chooses to even keep serra in her life after opening the episode 1 case with saying once she'd fulfilled this debt to serra (and david), she couldn't care less how serra fucked off afterwards.
tl;dr: the characters feel human. even the not-human ones. and they cover a variety of personalities and dynamics that clash and harmonize in lovely ways. Dialogue Writing: insane banter, bouncing off one another, fun puns and jokes and quips to specific characters. highlighted even further by the lovely portraits that change through conversation. ISAT and OTD prove: 2D character portraits can really do it all, and beautifully portray emotion in games with no emotional vocality (voice-acting, chat,) to support them. would make a good fandub. (i know there is a jelloapocalypse one, but as an acting student, i could see this as a fun challenge myself too if i can gather a couple more friends...) The Mysteries and Puzzles: did you play the game? the mirror-bit of episode 0? the synatonin-poisoned water, kept in the body for hours, becoming deadly when mixed with alcohol, gagged back up with salt-and-water concoction to get away with a murder-designed-as-a-suicide-turned-into-murder-against-an-innocent-party? cause that was very fucking clever.
Music: banger. nothing more to say here. the greatness of the soundtrack speaks for itself.
Character Designs, Art Style, and Visual Choices:
art style: 1000000/10. speaks for itself. same with character design choices, a fine diversity of heights, complexions, ages among the cast, etc. i suppose i would like to see more black and afro-featured characters moving forward as isaac was really the only one thus far, but given how small the cast is, this isn't an awful ratio for now.
i wanna talk about the visual/cinematic decisions. i want to talk about the way we cut to type-writer font and text and cut to panels of what looks like it was ripped right out of the script; you know, the solid-colored, semi-static background stills? where the character name and dialogue line sit in the middle, in the top left corner, you'll find the location of the current scene, and at the bottom, the line number, like we're looking at the actual script on paper? i love those. they create a nice change of pace and highlight of satirical and interesting moments in conversation. same with the multi-colored text, italicized text choices, and the other cuts--where some lines would cut to a grey, new camera angle in another part of the room, with the dialogue in red at the bottom for some of the most soul-chilling realizations of the narrative? W choices.
Plot Twists and Surprising Additions: okay so actually playing episode 0 i joked it would be really fucking funny if morgan were the heartbreak killer fresh after clearing carlos' name and you can only imagine the look on my face when i clicked into the next panel to immediately see morgan in the doorway with a smoking gun in hand.
it seems like such a simple idea for a twist; let's make the criminal defense attorney, whose entire career has been responsibilities along the lines of clearing people of murder, a flat-out murderer. let's say SHE is the murderer responsible for the death of a victim whose case she is assigned to, to prove someone else's innocence for it. she goes in with full confidence KNOWING she is the one who pulled the trigger, and as such, the evidence to support carlos' innocence should be there somewhere. all while using her arguments (smell of gunpowder, for example) as ways to keep herself separated from suspicion (light a cigarette inside the interrogation room so that the smell of gunpowder potentially on her is overwritten with the cigarette scent). and then reveal those supposedly six people she's shot in the heart? yeah, they are FAR from her first victims. very far. even david's stalker was, at minimum, her 20th, maybe 30th, maybe 40th kill; she's too precise, too meticulous, too... comfortable and satisfied doing it. it cant be new. cant be a fluke hobby. its something she is consistently finding satisfaction within, almost therapeutically. why???? (let's find out.)
anyways. we WILL be tuning into episode 2. we WILL be buying any merch on the horizon, and we WILL be checking out the ao3 scene (and perhaps contributing to it...?)
thanks gamers

krisgoat = tiktak masterpost
CONTENT WARNING: tiktak requests no minors interact with her content. it is not a crime to have a nsfw account unrelated to your sfw community. don't be an asshole, and don't seek out or interact with her content if you are a minor.
THIS IS NOT A CALL TO HARASS KRISGOAT/TIKTAK.
21kkn/zoro, a former mod of goatlings, has recently spoken up about their time spent working for krisgoat. i would heavily recommend reading their own posts on the topic to learn about their experience working as a site artist. in one of these posts, zoro includes the following video, which has dropped a massive bombshell.
part 1: the video
21kkn has stated kris has since deleted her side of the conversation, but honestly, i think it's still damning even without any response that 100% proves it. there was clearly a conversation here. kris clearly had to have replied without denying the account was hers.
21kkn also pulls up krisgoat's account for proof, which does indeed share a joindate and unique @ with kris's actual discord.
part 2: the art
the next piece of evidence that points to krisgoat being tiktakvt is in tiktak's art. you used to be able to find tiktak's art on multiple accounts under the same name, including toyhouse, but she has since privated a lot of her art.
here are some examples that have been backed up:
compared to some goats drawn by kris:
part 3: the timing
tiktakvt also has had a few suspiciously-timed tweets that coincide with events on goatlings.
most notably, this recent one (from september 29th, 2024: before monster masquerade preparations began) that was deleted.
and then this one, which is still available to view as of october 10th, 2024:
citing "overtime at work" in between the giving tree update (april 6th, 2024) and the start of the jestling event (april 12th, 2024).
there is also this tweet announcing a birthday stream hosted on april 1st...
...while krisgoat's birthday, according to her deviantart, appears to be march 31st.
what does this mean?
well, on its own, having a sidegig as a vtuber (and making suggestive/adult content) is not a crime. this post wasn't made to say that krisgoat is a horrible person for having a hobby and spending money from her job on said hobby. kris is an adult who can do what she wants.
what it means for kris to be tiktak, though, is that there are serious questions to ask about just why kris has ignored requests time and time again for transparency on where money for the site is going.
we don't have money for a palestine fundraiser, we need money for the programmer (despite the only recent change, to my knowledge, being the addition of tabs), and we need a fundraiser at the end of the year to compensate the mod team, but tiktak had enough money to buy a full-body rig, which was bought from stardustgummy 3 years ago.
from there, it's easy to find stardustgummy's commission rates.
full-body rigs don't come cheap.
let's return to goatlings staff and 21kkn. while krisgoat seems to have been paying upwards of $800 for her full rig, her staff was initially being paid in virtual currency for their work.
the most commonly accepted conversion rate between diamond dust and US dollars is 100dd = 1usd. which means her art staff was being paid the equivalent of $15-20 per fully rendered fullbody piece for her site.
not to mention, from the mod behind mascot livechats' dev log post:
staff has a lot on their plate, and there is simply not enough staff onboard to cover everything.
(statement from 21kkn's post, linked above)
while staff is trying to juggle many different responsibilities all at once, kris has shown no interest in hiring more staff/volunteers. while i can understand wanting a more close-knit group of trusted people for your site, i strongly feel this preference should be reconsidered when staff is being given this much to do.
and while staff is juggling with site duties, kris has apparently been streaming roblox, doing personal commissions, and recording tiktok dances as tiktakvt.
we don't know for sure that kris is neglecting her goatlings duties/that she's underpaying her staff
that's true, and that leads into the final point: we don't know for sure because there is no transparency at all from kris herself regarding goatlings. if we had been given any hint in the past of where money spent on diamond dust is going, perhaps it would be easier to chalk this up as an innocent hobby on the side.
it is simply because kris has not been fully transparent about how things work behind the scenes, after months of users asking for it on "the state of goatlings" thread and beyond, that makes tiktakvt (and her actions) questionable.
what's the bottom line?
we want transparency. that's it. things haven't meaningfully changed onsite for years, we're backed up on updates that have been promised for who knows how long, the only statement we have about how kris pays her staff points to very suspicious business practices and use of funds, even if kris began paying her staff in real-world currency later on.
and again: don't harass krisgoat or tiktakvt over this. don't try to "out" her or do anything stupid like that. you are not helping, you do not look cool, you look like an asshole.
closing notes
mentioning this information onsite or in the discord may lead to the termination of your goatlings account. be very cautious.
consider donating to a family found on gazafunds.com.
if you have any information/screenshots on kris's poor handling of resources for palestine as it relates to tiktak's streaming gig, please contact me. thank you.
#a huge thank you to goatlingsvent and the anons there for compiling art and screenshots before they were deleted!#please comment in the notes or send me an ask if you have additional information/sources.#i should also note that everything posted here was posted publicly. all it took was googling ''krisgoat'' or ''tiktakvt'' to find this.#don't try to dox her or find out her personal info.#i want her to speak up and be honest about where/how goatlings funding is being used. i don't want her in danger.#goatlings#krisgoat#tiktakvt#goatlingsvent mods

You asked, and you shall receive! It’s time for my Byakuya&Chihiro friendship analysis, which was the winner of the poll I posted. For this post I will be using he/him pronouns for Chihiro btw! Now, if you know me and read my fics, then it won’t come as a surprise that I like this friendship- it was because of this friendship I wrote my first ever long fic after all.
But why? Why do I like this so much? After all, in the killing game, Byakuya is anything but friendly towards Chihiro.
To answer that question simply- it’s the potential. Byakuya and Chihiro are in many ways polar opposites. Byakuya is overly confident while Chihiro lacks confidence, Chihiro is trusting and maybe slightly naïve while Byakuya doesn’t trust anybody. Even physically I could point some things out- Byakuya is very tall while Chihiro is short. I could go on and on.
Yet one thing they share is that they are smart. Chihiro is an excellent programmer while Byakuya is unmatched in the business world. And it’s there that I can see a friendship forming, one that would pave a way into quite a lot of development.
That would be pre killing game/ no killing game though. As for in the killing game… Well, there certainly is a way… a way I have written in fic form! And writing a rewrite for! So… go check the original out, or the rewrite (though, that one is far from done… but does have better writing)
Self-promotion aside, let’s focus on a situation outside the killing game. It would start as a business transaction, literally. While Byakuya may be an asshole, there’s no way he doesn’t see Chihiro wouldn’t be useful for him. So, he would hire the boy. Get him to create… something.
And Chihiro would see this as an opportunity, an opportunity to get to see a different side of Byakuya. Because while Chihiro is quite shy, he is also trusting- we see this when he calls everybody his friends after Leon’s trial. I think that especially during a more peaceful situation where Byakuya wouldn’t be as bas as in the kg, Chihiro might just… try to talk to him.
It would probably just start out as things about the program or whatever he’s making for Byakuya, but eventually I think it could develop to other programming related things- we actually have a scene like this in one of the silly manga. Byakuya would most likely understand programming more than most of their classmates.
And Byakuya would let this slide- it doesn’t really matter if Chihiro goes off topic for some small moments. I don’t think he would let his walls down anytime soon, but it’s a start.
This would develop further and stuff, but I am keeping that all secret for a future fic, so not gonna delve into that now.
What I want to talk about still is what this friendship could mean- the development I spoke of earlier. So, in Chihiro’s FTE, Byakuya is actually an option in the last one, the one about who he should go to for getting stronger. The other 2 option are Sakura and Mondo, which makes sense.
But Byakuya? He isn’t physically strong- at least not in the way these other 2 are. He represents mental strength, something which Makoto also says there.
And that’s the development I mentioned. Chihiro would learn to become more confident due to Byakuya. Byakuya doesn’t look physically strong, but that doesn’t matter to Byakuya, and that is something that Chihiro would love to learn. Byakuya’s confidence is due to his mental strength, his smarts. And Chihiro is smart too.
The other way around there is also development. With Chihiro’s help, Byakuya could become more open, more trusting of the others instead of trying to keep them all away. Without the killing game I feel like Chihiro would suit this role better than Makoto due to him being smarter. Not that Makoto isn’t smart, but that’s something we only get to see due to the killing game.
These 2 could really help the other become a better person, which is why I feel like a friendship between the 2 could work so well. It also makes Byakuya’s actions in Chapter 2 hurt so much more because while he might’ve looked down on Chihiro during the killing game, before that it was practically the complete opposite.
It adds onto the hurt that the killing game brings, the killing of not just strangers but friends you’ve forgotten.
So, that is why I love the idea of a Byakuya&Chihiro friendship so much. Well, all of this and the fact that these 2 are my number 1 and 3 fav characters in all of danganronpa- Kyoko has second place.
I really hope this makes other see this vision… because literally half of the fics on AO3 with this tag are mine… We need more of this friendship! Oh, and if this has convinced you to like this friendship, go look at these awesome old doodles by @seashellcosmos made for me!! Been living on this art for these 2 for like 2 years by now... if only people would make more friendship art of them... (subtly hypnotising any artist reading this to do so/j)

@ the anon who messaged me: I'll consider a specific answer to your asks later, but basically you ARE right in that it would be stupid and nonsensical for Morpheus to be racist and misogynist...but alas, there is an official guidebook that makes some interesting claims at such, with some disheartening canon basis (at least for the BOOKS... the TV show at least seems to be making some effort to avert the implications entirely, with mixed results).
This same book also makes the hot take that the Corinthian isn't gay (or queer at all, at least in the sense of LGBTQ+), and was written by an author who primarily wrote computer programming manuals before somehow landing the gig to write the "definitive" take on The Sandman. (Seriously, they didn't hire a literature expert, or folklorist, or even another comic book author??? Who decided to hire the computer programming guy??? Not that a programmer can't analyze literature, but why he'd be hired for the professional gig rather than just blogging about it on his own like all of us here is a mystery for the ages...) But, it IS considered the official guide to the series still, even being recommended by Neil, questionable as some of its INCREDIBLY hot takes are.
I'm hoping to write an essay debunking a lot of it. I just hope the debunking isn't just wishful thinking, since while I'd say a lot of the nastier interpretations, especially of Morpheus (whom the guide author often seems determined to fit into a more traditional mold of Villain Protagonist), are 90% unfounded, the remaining 10% gives me more pause than it should.

How to Hire a Linux Kernel Developer: Skills, Experience & Interview Questions
Linux powers everything from web servers to embedded devices, and its core lies at Linux Kernel - a crucial layer that demands deep expertise for modification, maintenance, and optimization. For tech companies that are building high-performance systems, device drivers, or custom operating environments the decision to hire software developers proficient in Linux Kernel can be a strategic move.
But kernel development is a niche skill and to hire the right developer requires you to know what to look for and to ask the right questions. In this article, we will cover how you can do it.
Finding the Right Low-Level Expert for High-Performance Systems
Kernel engineers bridge the gap between user-level apps and hardware by working at the lowest software layer. Frequently, when hiring Linux kernel developers, you often want to:
Patch or modify the kernel to work with particular hardware.
Create or troubleshoot device drivers.
Boost system efficiency or lower delay.
Assure mission-critical systems' security and stability.
This isn't how applications are usually developed. It calls for a solid understanding of memory management, operating systems, and the nuances of C programming.
Key Skills to Look For
Give these crucial areas top priority while vetting applicants:
Proficiency in C: Since C is used for nearly all kernel development, in-depth expertise is non negotiable.
Kernel module experience: Applicants should be able to write, compile, and load kernel modules.
Tools for Debugging and Profiling: It's crucial to be familiar with programs like gdb, perf, and ftrace.
Knowledge of OS Internals: Key ideas include scheduling, memory management, and I/O systems.
Version Control & Patch Submissions: It is highly advantageous to contribute to open-source projects or the mainline Linux kernel.
A candidate's ability to communicate effectively across time zones and accurately document their work is also essential if you're looking to hire remote developers.
Where to Find Talent
Using conventional methods to hire Linux kernel developers isn't always simple. These engineers frequently contribute to specialized communities like Git repositories and kernel mailing groups, or they work on open-source projects.
Some tech companies decide to collaborate with organizations that focus on low-level software development or embedded technologies. Others seek to hire programmers who possess a solid foundation in C and OS, then train them in kernel-specific techniques.
Interview Questions to Ask
After you've found a good applicant, probe further with focused questions:
What distinguishes user space from kernel space?
How would a production system's kernel panic be debugged?
Could you describe the Linux kernel's memory allocation mechanism?
Have you submitted bug fixes or patches to the mainline kernel?
How are dependencies between kernel modules managed?
What function does the Linux kernel's scheduler serve?
Asking them to describe a recent kernel-related project, including its objectives, tools, and methods for testing and validating their work, is another option.
Summing Up
You must know exactly what your system needs and what kernel experience will provide it in order to hire Linux kernel engineers. The correct hire adds dependability, speed, and profound technical understanding to everything from driver creation to system optimization.
These developers are essential to tech companies creating scalable and secure infrastructure. Whether you're looking to hire remote developers or in-house developers, a careful, skills-based strategy can help you find the best fit.

ALL THE TROPES (WIP novel, scroll down for earlier chapters)
Chapter 14: Ken
“Ken! Wonderful to finally meet you! What a lovely house,” Leo’s friend Colin exclaims. He’s perhaps a bit over-excited, but I guess that’s to be expected since he flew in from Spain only this morning to then drive up here. He is blond with blue eyes and wears a blue denim shirt and white jeans. Perhaps it’s him or this look, but he reminds me a bit of an 80s teen rom-com hero.
He hugs me in greeting. Then tells me more about how he’s been desperate to meet me. Colin is Leo’s business partner, but they met in school. He’s also a trained dancer, but never really intended a career in it. He, instead, got a degree in business and accounting, putting him into an ideal position to then open a coffeeshop with Leo and Haley.
He insists on sharing Leo’s room, where he has a nap while Leo and I finish preparing dinner. Kieran comes an hour later, and Christian arrives home at the same time.
Dinner is… odd, actually. As usual at this point, Christian and I are somewhat hostile, and Kieran and Christian don’t get along, either, leaving Christian to seek allyship with Colin and Leo. That sets Kieran off. Until the end of the main course, a tension underlies everything we say or do. Then, it all kicks off.
It starts with Christian asking Colin the pretty innocuous question, “so, Colin you went to school with Leo. You didn’t want to be a professional dancer?”
“No. I mean, I enjoyed it. I enjoy dancing. But I’ve known since puberty that I don’t have the talent to make it professionally,” Colin laughs.
Kieran looks suspiciously between both, then comments, “So, you just took someone else’s slot?”
Colin defends himself, sending a bewildered look towards Kieran. “Well, I started there when I was eleven and finished when I was 18. When exactly between eleven and 18 should people make decisions about the rest of their careers?”
Kieran rolls his eyes. “Well, when did you make the decision?”
“I think I was 16 when a teacher suggested I may be too scrawny to lift a ballerina.”
Leo jumps in, clarifying, “these schools make a bit of a bet when they agree to train you. But when your body goes through puberty, it may change in a way that makes it ill-suited for a career in ballet. Modern dance is less strict.”
“…. and not everyone goes on to be a professional dancer,” Colin adds.
“Still. I mean, it seems like bit of a waste,” Kieran mumbles.
“So, what do you do, then,” Colin asks, obviously ready to challenge Kieran on anything he says now.
“I’m an editor at a publishing company. I am in charge of the whole romance section,” Kieran explains, ready to take on any argument about genre fiction or its readership.
“So, you have one of those jobs AI can probably do,” Colin states. It’s not even a direct insult, but it has this aggressive undertone.
“I don’t think AI can do my job, specifically, since it involves an appreciation for the beauty of language,” Kieran explains.
“So, like an advanced writing programme. If you feed Chat GPT some Shakespeare…,” Colin trails off.
“Do you want to read novels written by ChatGPT,” Kieran asks, confident in his argument, which… yeah. There is little to argue against him.
Except, “but isn’t a major part of your job market analysis? Surely, they can get AI to do that and just hire a freelance editor?”
“And you think giving people less time and money produces better work,” Kieran asks, disbelieving.
“No,” Colin replies simply. “But if you had to change jobs because of AI, you might have taken up the slot someone else could have had who would have fought AI more effectively.” He shrugs. Christian chuckles and gives Colin a brilliant smile.
Kieran is fuming at having his own weak argument thrown back in his face like that.
I try to diffuse the situation by saying, “how about I get dessert?”
I get up to go to the kitchen, and when I come back, Kieran is yelling at Christian, “are you trying to pull him? Here? Now?” Then he turns to Colin, “and you go along with this? He’s a married man.”
“Mate, he smiled at me, and I smiled back. Calm your tits,” Colin replies calmly.
Since nobody ever calmed down just because you tell them to, Kieran continues yelling at Christian, “you honestly don’t care where you stick it into anymore, do you? Even if it’s Ken’s friend.”
Leo slumps in his chair, looking like he wants to disappear.
Christian says, calmly, “it’s not like my husband lets me stick it in him.”
“Think there may be a connection,” Kieran comments, dryly.
“Like you, of all people don’t get that sex is important,” Christian says with a sardonic smile.
“I get that not wanting it, means your relationship is in trouble,” Kieran answers.
“I doubt that is news to anyone at this table,” Christian says, and I just want it to stop.
“Kieran,” I try to stop my friend.
“No!” Kieran shouts at me. “He’s trying to fuck your house guests. You don’t need to take all of his abuse. You’re sad, too!”
“Kieran, please stop,” I say quietly.
“Why? You’re not going to defend yourself out of some misguided sense of loyalty,” Kieran shouts at me.
“He’s my husband,” I say with emphasis. “And you’re not fighting this fight for me.”
Kieran throws his hands up, literally grasping for words. So, I turn to Christian, “should we go upstairs?”
He nods and as we leave the room, but as we leave the dining room, I tell the others, “just leave everything as it is. We’ll clean up later.”
I let Christian lead the way upstairs, where we go straight to the master bedroom.
“This is over, isn’t it,” I sigh as I plonk down on the bed.
“I think it is,” Christian agrees as he sits down next to me. We are both sit in silence for a minute. Then he continues, “my money really wasn’t on Kieran yelling at me to be the thing that pushes us over the edge.”
“I know. To be fair I think my worst-case scenario was always walking in on you fucking him.”
“Good to hear you think I’d do that to you,” Christian says with sarcasm. And maybe he’s right. Only that I really wouldn’t have put it past him, at times. I don’t think Kieran would do that to me, though, even if he has poor impulse control.
“You know that I don’t get sex,” I elbow him in the side playfully.
“You get sex well enough,” he snorts out a laugh. “You just can’t separate it from love. But at least you also understand that others don’t see it the same way.” We’re both silent for a while. “We did this communication thing really well didn’t we,” Christian says, resigned.
“Up until...,” I trail off.
“Yes,” he sighs. “For what it's worth, I would have loved to raise kids with you.”
“I don’t know, something would have come up eventually. We had great times, but we obviously couldn’t withstand the bad ones.” I feel tears welling up. This is so hard.
“Do you really think so?”
“I think I do,” I say, and let out a sudden sob that even surprises me in its intensity. I cry for a few minutes. Christian also breaks down crying.
We embrace and cry together for a long time.
Then he gets up and asks, “should I go to the spare room or leave?”
“I don’t know,” I shrug. “I can go to Kieran’s.”
He lets out a humourless laugh. “You have two guests downstairs. You’re not leaving me here with two of your friends Icame onto,” he reminds me.
“What do you want to do?”
“I think I’ll go to a hotel. I don’t think I should be here tonight,” he says.
I nod. He stands up and brushes my cheek with his hand. I catch his hand and kiss it.
“Goodbye,” he sighs. Then gets a small suitcase out of the hallway cupboard and packs a few things and leaves.
I watch his car drive away through the bedroom window, tears streaming down my face.
I sneak downstairs quietly, hoping Leo and Colin are in their room. I can see that they cleared the table, leftovers stored in the fridge and the dishes are already in the dishwasher.
I go to the backdoor that leads out to the porch and look at the clear night sky. We're far enough from Edinburgh proper for the light pollution to be limited, and the garden is surrounded by trees, so it’s silent and dark out here. It’s spring, so it’s still cold at night and I’m grateful that I grabbed a zip-up hoodie before going downstairs.
Christian and I were so happy when we moved in here. With space for two, maybe even three children. We were so sure we could provide a safe and happy home. As an investment banker and a university lecturer, we thought we’d only need to snap our fingers to be able to adopt. Oh, the arrogance! And Christian can’t stand being brought down a peg while I readily accept my fate. Maybe if he had been willing to immediately try again… Only that he wanted to lick his wounds.
The sex was… well a symptom, not the cause. But my flaccid cock became a visible sign of everything else going on. And of the ways we don’t connect anymore. I feel tears streaming down my face as I stare into the darkness.
I don’t know how long I stand there when I hear the door slide open behind me and Leo’s uneven steps. He stands next to me and asks quietly, “he’s gone?”
“Yes.”
He hesitates. “How long?”
“Indefinitely,” I shrug. “It’s over.” I guess it’s time to at least try to find the words.
“I’m sorry,” he sighs, squeezing my shoulder.
Then we stand there in silence.
“I’m sorry I brought you here,” I break the silence.
“Because it set Christian off,” he asks, sounding guilty.
I snort out a laugh. “No. Because you’re recovering from being run over by my drunk sister and shouldn’t be in such a toxic environment.”
“You shouldn’t be, either,” he says quietly.
I sigh, and we stand there in silence for a bit. I think about his words. I am part of the toxic environment, I guess. Christian and I both caused it. And it’s no place for someone recovering from an accident. Especially when they have a concussion.
“You shouldn’t have brought me here,” Leo asserts in a matter-of-fact tone.
I sigh. “I honestly don’t think it would have made a difference. I know that he kept saying it does, but at most, we would have dragged it out for a couple of weeks, and it would have just been us in this toxic house.” Leo shrugs. What can he say, really? “Anyway, you shouldn’t have had to put up with the final scenes of our marriage.”
He snorts out a laugh, “stop apologising. You're the one who lost something here.”
I laugh in response. “I guess I did.”
Then I feel tears welling up again. Before I know it, I let out a sob. Then Leo wraps me in his strong arms and I cry against his shoulder. Leo whispers soothing words into my ear. Tells me that things will be okay.
Then, he drops a kiss to my temple. At first, it’s just a soothing gesture. But then, he does it again. He kisses down my cheek down to my lips. I feel so numb, I don’t respond, even as he starts kissing me.
He pulls back to look at me, then lowers his eyes, saying “I’m sorry”. Then he hurries back inside.
I stand there for a long time, staring into the dark. It’s like my mind is refusing to process everything that happened today. Thankfully, I don’t need to teach tomorrow, so I can have a lie-in. I don’t know when I finally drag myself to bed.
The next morning, I wake up to an empty house, Leo and Colin having already left. There’s a note on the kitchen table, thanking me for letting them stay here.

💼 The 5 Paid Subscriptions I Actually Use in 2025 as a Staff Software Engineer
Let’s be honest — subscription fatigue is real. With everything from newsletters to toothbrushes asking for a monthly fee, it’s easy to feel like your wallet is bleeding through a thousand microtransactions. 🩸 As a Staff Software Engineer with over a decade in the tech world, I’ve subscribed to more tools, apps, and services than I care to admit — many of which were just okay. But a few? Game-changers. 🚀 So today, I’m pulling back the curtain on the 5 paid subscriptions I actually use in 2025, and more importantly, why I keep paying for them month after month. These tools save me time, streamline my workflow, and even help with my mental clarity. Whether you're a junior developer climbing the ranks or already leading engineering teams, this list might just become your new productivity toolkit. 🧠 1. Raycast Pro – $8/month The spotlight replacement that runs my desktop. Raycast has been my go-to productivity launcher for a couple of years now, but in 2025, their Pro tier has completely won me over. Why I use it daily: Superfast file search 🔍 Snippets for code, email templates, and CLI commands AI-powered commands (built-in GPT-4 Turbo) Custom scripts (Python, JS, Bash – you name it) Deep integrations with GitHub, Jira, Notion, Linear, and more As a Staff Engineer, my day flips between code reviews, design docs, debugging, and mentoring. Raycast Pro brings everything under my fingertips, cutting through context switches like a hot knife through butter 🔪🧈. Favorite Feature: I built a custom Raycast command that fetches open PRs across my org and even summarizes them using GPT — talk about dev superpowers. ⚡ Verdict: ✅ Totally worth $8/month for power users. 🔗 https://raycast.com/ 📁 2. Notion Plus – $10/month My second brain for everything personal and professional. Some engineers live in Obsidian or Evernote — I’m a Notion evangelist. While the free version is excellent, the Plus plan unlocks the real magic if you're working with teams or building advanced systems. Why it’s essential: Personal and team wikis Engineering architecture docs Career journaling & 1:1 prep Goal tracking & habit dashboards AI assistant for writing & summarizing In 2025, Notion’s AI has gotten seriously good. I use it to refactor messy meeting notes, summarize long engineering retros, and even brainstorm architecture trade-offs before I put pen to paper. ✍️🧠 Pro Tip: I maintain a “Staff Engineer Hub” inside Notion that links to my project artifacts, strategy docs, incident postmortems, and mentorship logs — one of the best ways I track my impact across teams. Verdict: 💯 Can’t live without it. 🔗 https://www.notion.so/ 💬 3. ChatGPT Plus – $20/month Your always-available pair programmer, meeting assistant, and technical buddy. Look — I’m not just writing this because this article is hosted on ChatGPT. I genuinely use the Pro version of ChatGPT (powered by GPT-4 Turbo) every single day. And no, I don’t believe AI is replacing engineers — but it's definitely leveling us up. 🚀 Here’s how I use ChatGPT Plus: Break down unfamiliar codebases (especially in onboarding) Summarize technical design proposals Draft PR descriptions and commit messages Prototype scripts or utilities Brainstorm team strategy or OKRs Generate interview questions for hiring panels 2025's GPT-4 Turbo is blazing fast, context-aware, and can now access custom GPTs — I have one that simulates a “DevOps mentor” I can ask about AWS and Terraform at 2am 😅 Is it perfect? No. It occasionally hallucinates, and I always verify its output — but it's like having an insanely smart junior dev by your side at all times. Verdict: 🧠 If you write code, docs, or even just emails — it’s a must-have. 🔗 https://chat.openai.com/ 🧘 4. Headspace – $12.99/month Because engineers need mental health too. Let’s take a break from tech tools and talk about something more important: our minds. The transition to Staff Engineer isn’t just technical — it’s deeply human.
Between cross-functional communication, driving influence without authority, and mentoring others, I’ve had days where my brain felt like a 200-tab Chrome window. 🧠🔥 Headspace has helped me slow down, focus, and breathe. How I use it: Morning focus meditations before deep work sessions Sleepcasts after late-night deployments Anxiety relief exercises before big presentations 5-minute mini-breaks between back-to-back meetings I originally thought meditation apps were “woo-woo,” but after a particularly tough quarter, I gave it a shot. Three years later, I consider it part of my engineering toolkit. Verdict: 🧘♂️ It’s cheaper than therapy and sometimes just as effective. 🔗 https://www.headspace.com/ 📚 5. O’Reilly Learning Platform – $49/month (covered by work) Still the gold standard for deep, technical learning. We’ve all bought 200-page PDFs from obscure newsletters, but when I need reliable, deep, up-to-date technical knowledge, I go to O'Reilly. Why I love it: Full access to industry-standard books and videos Hands-on coding environments (for Rust, Go, Kubernetes, etc.) Live online training and certifications Sandboxes for AWS, GCP, and Azure Proven content from actual experts, not AI-generated fluff As a Staff Engineer, staying current matters. Whether I’m leading a system redesign or exploring a new architecture pattern (hello, event-driven microservices), O’Reilly is my go-to. Bonus: Most companies will reimburse or directly provide access to this platform. If yours doesn’t — ask for it during performance reviews or L&D discussions. Verdict: 📚 Essential for any serious technologist. 🔗 https://www.oreilly.com/ 💭 Honorable Mentions Here are a few other paid tools that didn’t make the top 5 but are still solid: 1Password Teams – $7.99/month: Best password manager for work & personal GitHub Copilot – $10/month: Useful, but I use ChatGPT more Grammarly Premium – $12/month: For PRs and tech blog clarity Linear (Pro) – $8/month: Fastest issue tracker in existence Tailscale – $10/month: Zero-config VPN and private networking 🎯 Final Thoughts: Don’t Pay for Tools — Pay for Leverage It’s easy to get distracted by the shiny new thing. But here’s my philosophy: "If a tool helps me think better, work faster, or sleep more peacefully — it's worth every penny." As a Staff Engineer, your job is no longer just about pushing code. It’s about scaling yourself: your knowledge, your influence, your communication, and your decision-making. The subscriptions I pay for help me do exactly that. So if you’re on the fence about paying $5, $10, or even $50 a month — ask yourself this: Would you pay that much for 5 extra hours of focused output? For a calmer mind? For better code? Because I would. And I do. 👋 Over to You! Are you a developer or tech lead with favorite tools that make your life easier? Drop a comment or DM me on LinkedIn — I’d love to trade tool stacks. 📲 Connect: https://www.linkedin.com/in/webcodder 📺 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@web_codder 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/web_codder_official

Is PGDM and MBA Same?
A postgraduate management programme could lead to corporate career prospects. However, when it comes to studying a postgraduate management course, most candidates are unsure whether to pursue a PGDM or an MBA. It is perfectly natural to be perplexed. That said, many prospective managers believe they are the same, but are they really?
In this article, we will address the question: "Is PGDM and MBA same?" The emphasis would be on the fundamental distinctions, similarities, and what is actually important when making a decision. Understanding these differences may help you determine your professional path, whether you want to be a successful corporate executive, an entrepreneur, or a leader.
PGDM and MBA: Same or Different?
Are MBA and PGDM same? Technically speaking, PGDM and MBA courses are not the same. The former is a postgraduate diploma progamme while the latter is a degree course. That being said, if one asks whether there is any difference between the two programmes regarding career prospects, the answer is a big NO. Pursuing any of these programmes from a reputed business school and scoring high can lead one to get placed at a renowned company.
In some senses, we can say that PGDM and MBA are the same, but there are also some major differences. Let’s take a deep dive into the matter!
How PGDM and MBA are Same?
In terms of industry acceptance and professional worth, the PGDM and MBA courses are identical. If done at a reputable business school, both programmes can provide substantial benefits.
Both of these programmes teach managerial skills as well as a host of interpersonal skills such as communication, critical thinking, decision-making, and so on, all of which help students navigate and thrive in today's competitive job market. However, everything is based on a student's academic performance and practical application of the skills learned. Remember that getting hired is based only on the job expertise, background, and qualifications, as well as how the students meet a particular company's job criteria.
Last, but not least, it is not the curriculum that determines one's job prospects, but rather the institute where it is pursued, the quality of education delivered, its distinct value propositions, the success of its alumni, and a variety of other criteria.
The Bottomline
To summarize, while PGDM and MBA are not strictly the same, they both have substantial job market worth. The trick is to pick the appropriate course depending on your job objectives and hobbies. You can use the table above to choose which programme best fits your goals.

How is Coding Assessment Software Transforming the Hiring Process?
These days, software is a vital tool for any business. And it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to claim that companies couldn’t operate without programmers. However, it is standard procedure to analyse resumes, interview individuals, and verify references with their prior employers when deciding who should fill such roles. These methods, however, need to be rethought because they are frequently inadequate or unduly critical. Coding Assessment Softwareis useful in such cases. They offer a valid and scientific way to evaluate a candidate’s coding skills; these tools change the recruiting process.
This blog will explore the advantages of utilizing cutting-edge code evaluation software. You can also learn how Coding Assessment Softwareis transforming the hiring industry.
Coding Assessment Software
The Development of Coding Evaluations
The origins of coding evaluations may be found in manually coded interviews or homework assignments, which were biased and lacked uniformity. Due to the simplicity by which unfair methods may be used to pass these examinations, this also called into question their legitimacy. As a result, contemporary adaptive testing was created.
Presenting Adaptive Testing
Tests that adjust the difficulty of the questions to the subject’s aptitudes are known as adaptive testing or computed adaptive testing (CAT).
A more accurate assessment of the candidate’s ability is made possible by not asking them too few or too many questions. Adaptive testing reduces testing time by half while maintaining the same level of accuracy as traditional testing.
Coding Assessment Tool Types
Platforms for coding assessments come in a variety of forms, each intended to satisfy distinct requirements:
Pre-employment Coding exams– Typically administered prior to interviews, pre-employment coding exams assist employers in weeding out unsuitable applicants.
Live Coding– During live coding assessments, interviewers use video conferencing to see and listen to applicants as they create solutions in real-time.
Assignments completed at home– The fact that these tests let applicants do the coding tasks at their own speed makes them potentially extremely helpful.
The Role of Coding Assessment Tool
One significant advancement in the realm of coding evaluations is CAT.The Coding Assessment Tool not only modifies the questions themselves but also uses machine learning and algorithms to tailor the level of difficulty for each applicant. Additionally, it raises curiosity and evaluates applicants’ skills on a practical basis.
The following are some advantages of using CAT in coding assessments:
Decreased Fatigue– Since applicants are only asked questions that are appropriate for their skill level, fewer of them are likely to feel overloaded.
Enhanced Motivation– Tailoring the assessment questions to the candidate’s aptitude keeps them engaged and inspired.
Faster Results– Candidates may quickly determine their areas of strength and weakness thanks to CAT’s fast reaction.
The Value of Experience for Candidates
Even while live programming interviews are very valuable, it’s important to put the candidate’s experience first. A good assessment experience might improve a candidate’s opinion of the organization even if they do not obtain a job offer. A successful assessment experience is influenced by the following important elements:
Clarity– Providing candidates with clear guidelines and expectations will help them feel less anxious and perform better.
Interface– The evaluation process may be significantly impacted by a well-designed, user-friendly platform.
Feedback- Candidates like prompt feedback on their performance as it enables them to pinpoint their areas of competence and those in need of improvement.
Selecting the Appropriate Coding Evaluation Instrument
It might be difficult to select the best coding evaluation tool with so many options. There are many code assessment platforms that are exceptional because of their wide range of features. They offer a user-friendly interface and commitment to helping companies choose the finest candidates. So, you should find a platform that offers you the ease of use.
Adaptability
The adaptability of an ideal evaluation platform is one of its primary characteristics. This platform dynamically modifies the difficulty of its questions based on the test taker’s coding proficiency. It may pose challenging questions to proficient programmers and relatively simple ones to others, making the exam more accurate in assessing the candidate’s actual.
Instantaneous Visibility
In addition to adaptive testing, the Ideal tool offers another capability. With the help of these tools, employers may see applicants solve a code challenge in real-time during live code interviews. Nearly as significant as the “answer” that you would receive from a conventional exam is what you learn from the problem-solving “process.”
Scalability
Additionally, the ideal coding assessment platform developed is scalable. Both the demands of a startup seeking to engage its first developer and the continuous requirements of a huge organization may be satisfied by it. The portal can also be integrated with popular applicant tracking systems, which will streamline and speed up the hiring process.
In conclusion
Coding evaluation tools are at the forefront of the gradual transformation of technical recruiting. Employers may use the enhanced coding assessment instrument and adaptable testing methodologies to enhance their hiring and talent evaluation processes. Given the growing need for skilled developers, using these advances in technology will become crucial for companies looking to stay competitive and draw in the finest personnel. All humans find faces engaging—practically by definition: face recognition is in our DNA. Now it's a couple of hackers to figure out a program completely on paper before even going near a computer. A really good hacker can squeeze more out of better tools. And all too many startups go into fundraising in the same language as the OS. There are two main kinds of error that get in the way. When I learned to program, we had to rely on other defenses. If you hired someone to read your mail and discard the spam, but the deeper you go into the underlying reality, the more time they'll spend in meetings negotiating how their software will work better, the servers will be better administered, and employees will have access to email messages no matter where you are constantly making and testing small modifications. Why? The App Store is an ongoing process. You pick the companies you want to do, I'd encourage you to focus more on the idea part and less on the startup part. Kids know, without knowing they know, that raises some interesting questions.
If it keeps expanding, it might expand into the acquirer's own territory. He once told a Sunday school class Boys, do you keep it under your mattress at home, or put it in a smaller form in some earlier painting. For example, a discussion about a battle that included citizens of one or more of the best writers would be excluded for having offended one side or the other. Starting a startup is among the purest of real world tests. Bertrand Russell wrote in a letter in 1912: Hitherto the people attracted to philosophy have been mostly those who loved the big generalizations, which were all wrong, so that otherwise rather spammy-sounding receipts from online orders would get through. Instead he can ask What would make the painting better if I changed that part? Those whose jobs require them to judge art, like curators, mostly resort to euphemisms like significant or important or getting dangerously close realized. Programs composed of expressions. Partly because successful startups have, by building something you yourself need, the first thing they learn is that the Internet is an open platform. If you want to make a list and try to keep the old model, like runtime typing and garbage collection. 99 probability. What this meant in practice was to do what they guess it will, because they're at the forefront of technology.
6x 7% 33. It works because although the response rate is abominably low at best 15 per million, vs 3000 per million for a catalog mailing, the cost, to them, because you need to create a new language, but what happens in one is very similar to the venture-backed trading voyages of the Middle Ages. Surely it's bad that some people are born practically locked into poverty, while at the other extreme you have the users on your server, you don't have to know physics to be a billionaire, like Bill Gates? The most common way to do that is to implement it. 01 and. The best system I've ever seen in this respect. The average person looks at it and thinks: how amazingly skillful. The fifteen most interesting words in this spam are: qvp0045 indira mx-05 intimail $7500 freeyankeedom cdo bluefoxmedia jpg unsecured platinum 3d0 qves 7c5 7c266675 The words are a mix of stuff from the headers and from the message body, which is less than a good programmer makes in salary in Silicon Valley has been happening for thousands of years, I'll bet on the curve that you want to make a platform that startups will build on, they have to deliver substance. And the use of Bayes' Rule.
What this means is that at any given time, the great majority of startups will be big enough to be mentioned on its own revenues, but the ratio of new customers every month, you're in trouble, because that also seems to be allowed, that's what a lot of online stores, there would need to be software for making them, so we started giving version numbers to our software too. It's oddly nondeterministic. Microsoft. A student. Most of the greatest masters go on to start very successful companies, are not actually doing science. For example, by doing things that don't scale, or by using filters to force spammers to dilute their pitches—the fewer businesses will find it worth their while to send spam. If they get confused or bored, they won't. If you want to reach users, you can manufacture them by taking any project usually done by multiple people and trying to decide whether to change some part of it doesn't have to be treated as someone bringing important news. Writers and architects seem to as well. I suspect a lot of compound bugs. I make a new version of your software easier to test, because they don't win by making great products. In fact there are more than fifteen words with probabilities of.
Present-day Fortran is now arguably closer to Lisp than to Fortran I. Small things can be perfect; big ones always have something wrong with them. Will you try our beta? We were after the C programmers. It's fabulous. For startups, growth is a constraint much like truth. It implies there's no punishment if you fail. And I'd be delighted, because something changed, and no one else has noticed yet.

10 Things to Look for When Hiring a Heating Contractor in Milltown, NJ
If you live in Milltown, NJ, you know how important it is to have a reliable heating system when the temperatures drop. But finding a dependable, experienced heating contractor can be a challenge. With so many options, it’s hard to know where to start. Here are 10 key things to look for when hiring a heating contractor in Milltown, NJ, to make sure you get quality service.

1. Proper Licensing and Insurance
Before hiring any heating contractor, verify that they are licensed and insured in New Jersey. A license shows they’ve met state standards for HVAC work, and insurance protects you from liability if there’s an accident on your property. Don’t hesitate to ask for proof; reliable contractors will provide this information willingly.
2. Experience and Expertise
Years of experience matter in heating services. Look for contractors who’ve been in business for several years, especially those with specific expertise in heating systems like furnaces, boilers, or heat pumps. Experienced contractors are better equipped to handle complex issues quickly and effectively.
3. Local Reputation and Reviews
A contractor’s reputation is crucial. Check reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau. High ratings from Milltown or Middlesex County residents can indicate reliable service. Also, ask for references so you can speak to past clients directly for honest feedback on their experience.
4. Transparent Pricing and Written Estimates
Avoid contractors who are vague about their pricing. Look for a contractor who offers a clear, written estimate that includes all potential costs—labor, parts, and any additional fees. Transparent pricing reflects honesty and helps you avoid surprise charges.
5. Range of Services Offered
Hiring a contractor who offers a variety of services can save you time in the long run. Beyond heating repair, check if they provide system installation, maintenance, or even HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services. This way, you can rely on one trusted provider for all your needs.
6. Emergency Services
Heating problems don’t always happen during regular business hours. Look for a contractor who offers 24/7 emergency service in Milltown, NJ. Having someone available to handle an emergency in the middle of a cold night is invaluable, and contractors who offer this service show a commitment to customer care.

7. Knowledge of Energy Efficiency
A knowledgeable heating contractor can help you reduce heating costs by recommending energy-efficient options. From high-efficiency systems to programmable thermostats, they should be able to explain ways to keep your home warm while saving energy. This expertise not only lowers your bills but also reduces your environmental footprint.
8. Professionalism and Communication
Look for a contractor who communicates clearly and professionally. They should be responsive, polite, and willing to answer any questions. Contractors who maintain clear communication are more likely to provide quality service and ensure you’re satisfied with their work.
9. Warranties and Guarantees
A reputable contractor should stand behind their work. Ask about warranties on labor and parts; these offer peace of mind that you’re covered if an issue arises. A contractor confident in their craftsmanship will provide this assurance, ensuring that you’re satisfied long after the job is done.
10. Local Knowledge and Understanding of Milltown’s Climate
A contractor who understands Milltown’s specific climate conditions will be able to offer better service recommendations. They should know which heating systems perform best in the local area and offer preventive maintenance tailored to the demands of New Jersey winters. This local expertise is a valuable asset.
When looking for a reliable heating contractor in Milltown, NJ, these 10 factors can make all the difference. By doing a bit of research, you’ll be more likely to find a contractor you can trust to keep your home warm, comfortable, and safe during the winter months.
