Nimona was one of the beautifully we crafted movies I have ever seen. It was basically like fuck it to every homophobic republican hater in the world. The movie doesn’t hide it queerness and that’s the beauty of it. We learn that the monster and Gloreth their hero was all fake. There was no monster Gloreth didn’t kill anyone, they were just kids. The monster was peoples inability to accept Nimona as she was. The whole movie drops allusions to real life. Like “ it would be easier if you were just a girl”. When people say that it’s never about the person who says it. It’s for their own benefit

People In this world want no change and for everyone to be normal. But the thing we often gloss over it that there is no normal. Normal means not like you. There is nobody who is like someone else. Differences are rooted in us. We are all the same but different at the same time.

The other thing that is so great about the movie is it shows us the world is not black and white. Ambrosius did what he thought was right and in the end made the right decision. Even the director who deep down let fear control her in the end.

The movies powerful message that once they see you as a monster that’s all they see. We see things as evil and good all the time. In reality there is no good nation and no evil nation there are great people in in all places and evil ones in all places

Nimona is so beautiful because it lets us know that even though we feel it we are not alone.

ok, i might be slightly and or very drunk and a bit high while typing this but i have something to say that i want people to ACTUALLY hear.

women are the future of music

ever since i was little i’ve been able to connect with music on some sort of spiritual level, lyrics and riffs are like therapy for me. as history goes on, music changes, as do the times and beliefs of society. i personally think that women are a very big piece in the future of music. i’m not much into modern pop or modern music but if you take a look at popular music artists now, it’s mostly women. (examples: taylor swift, olivia rodrigo, chappel roan, reneé rap, billie eilish, etc.) and even in the past music evolved off of female building blocks, artists like fiona apple, erykah badu, the cranberries (lead is a woman please don’t atack me 🙁)and other artists like them have influenced artists that are popular now, which also heavily consist of women. and some may argue that men make good music too and that’s very true, but who do you see making the most waves in popular music culture? women! i,, overall, think women deserve more cruedut for everything they do, over the years my mom has sacrafixed so much and if your reading this your mom probably has too. not only mother, but all women should have some more respect, because from the ages 0- super fucking old women are always people pleasing. i wonder how the world and modern women would be if the forced submission of women didn’t exist. would we be rebellious? commonly more dominant on men? my question is how would we be if we started equal and didn’t have to fight to be equal. an ideal reality, right? but it’s not the world we live in. i am in heavy support of all women, and i am in heavy support of the activist women, vegan women, fellow POC women, teen pregnant women, etc, etc. I love and support them all. and i think if you identify as a woman you should too. i’ve always been very passionate towards things i believe heavily in, and feminism and advocating for my native community and other POCs community have always been something i’ve been very passionate towards. i think if you like something, you shouldn’t be afraid to be passionate, fiery and even aggressive about it, especially when defending others. BE YOURSELF!!! over the years i have lost a sense of identity from trying to fit in, adapting to people so they’d like me, and i have overall no personal likes. if you want to dress like a doseny princess, go ahead, if you want to dress like morticia, go ahead!!! don’t let anyone stop you from self expression, i lost the ability to have that and i don’t have much of a sense of self anymore, so it’s very important to remember to be yourself, even if you find it hard, please take it from me, and try. i’m more popular in my school terms now and i remember being bullied, getting called the quite or weird kid. if your naturally weird, stay fuckin weird!!!

I can’t believe it’s over😖

It’s been three long hard years on this emotional roller coaster of pain sadness and hardship. I have truly cherished each moment and each character. I have loved Luz and her optimism that allowed me to have a bright light in the dark, Willow watching her grow into confidence, taught me the value in trusting one’s self, Hunter watching him find himself and a family who taught me that family created, Eda who showed me not follow everyone else and follow yourself, King who showed me that there is power beyond appearances and last bit not least Gus who showed me how to look past the illusions we put up. This show has given me a pocket of hope in this world where so many things are unfolding and we don’t know where it will go. This show gave me hope that one day I can live in a magical world where I can just say I’m in love and that’s all that will matter. A world that proves family’s are made not born into. A world where friendship can literally save it. A world where justice is served in the end without question. A world where magic exists and bunnies command and conquer armies. So Dana if you can see this thanks for the memories and the hope for a new world
