Hear me out:
Serial monster of the week, in which Arthur Holmwood and John Seward are "both happily married" post-Dracula and the two of them take center stage solving monster mysteries for new patients admitted to the asylum.
Henry Clerval admits his friend Victor to the Godalming-funded asylum. Juxtapositions ensue.

Hey all, so I posted a crossover work for @spncoldesthits in the wee hours of this morning, in case you missed it lol, and I'm pleased to announce that there is now a related work to it - @socially-awkward-chocobo's very first posted (on A03) work!
you don't have to read both to enjoy, but they are DEFINITELY related. So check it out!
Snippets in a Craft Store by Awkward_Chocobo_Kat
No Ships
Rated G
Words: 2250
Fandoms:
Undertale (Frisk, references to other characters)
Mash (BJ and Hawkeye, with a glimpse of Margaret)
Supernatural (Castiel)
MCU (Bucky)
One Piece (Usopp, Franky, and Law)
My Hero Academia (Yagi Toshinori)
Fullmetal Alchemist (Edward Elric)
Summary:
Frisk's on the hunt for a new craft store - she didn't expect to find a whole community to go along with it.
So check it out! She switched one Fandom out for another completely and wound up with 2.5 characters I didn't have, and its just a lot of fluffy cute fun :D

fascinated by tumblr's new trend of placing a Mature label on every single post that acknowledges, however obliquely, the existence of sex and sex byproducts

Y’all, the Archive admins are made up of VOLUNTEERS. And they have been working for 12-13 HOURS STRAIGHT.
I better not hear any complaints when donation period comes around. OR ELSE.
cosplay by @woahchriswoah on Twitter
EDIT: How do we show appreciation to the volunteers? For me reading these deep dives on OTW issues u guys apparently it's been said multiple times that one of their objective statements is to have paid staff for ao3 and there's a surplus of donations they haven't used up or the other community solutions that needs to address. For those more financially literate feel free to analyze, snipe me or add to the discussion etc. linked here by deepa. They’re cool and these yearly analysis they did aint no joke.
But Seriously what can we do for these volunteers? The probable burn out from this entire fiasco would be no joke. @ao3org

fucking hate it when the stuff everybody says "actually works" does actually work.
hate exercising and realizing i've let go of a lot of anxiety and anger because i've overturned my fight-or-flight response.
hate eating right and eating enough and eating 3 times a day and realizing i'm less anxious and i have more energy
hate journaling in my stupid notebook with my stupid bic ballpoint and realizing that i've actually started healing about something once i'm able to externalize it
hate forgiving myself hate complimenting myself more often hate treating myself with kindness hate taking a gratitude inventory hate having patience hate talking to myself gently
hate turning my little face up to the sun and taking deep breaths and looking at nature and grounding myself and realizing that i feel less burdened and more hopeful, more actually-here, that i am able to see the good sides of myself more clearly, that i am able to see not only how far i have to grow - but also how much growth i have already done & how much of my life i truly fill with light and laughter and love
horrible horrible horrible. hate it but i'm gonna do it tho

nothing makes me more insane than the phrase "selling your body" btw. like was i not also selling my body at every other job i've had where i had to be on my feet all day, lifting boxes, working in a warehouse, etc. why is it that sex work is uniquely labeled as "selling your body" while every other job is sorted into another category, no matter how much that job might have a physical impact on your body. lmao.

I think it's so important to have a "nature" calendar in your head, like a way of tracking time that's completely separate from anything work or obligation related, not holidays or anything stressful. For instance I look forward to august because at 8pm every night house finches hang around my window for a few weeks. In spring I love waiting for the magnolias to blossom. Just ways of tracking the time with zero stakes that's completely removed from life's zeitgeist and that you really look forward to
