I’m an au enthusiast (if you can’t tell), so I wanna know the deets. What kind of robot? is this similar to something like Detroit turning human or something else? Does Robot Egon imply he was ALWAYS a robot or just was put into a robot? Is he a ghost possessing a machine? I must know.

I feel stupid for not realizing you're an AU enthusiast but oh my god I'm so happy to be able to ramble about this!!! I did answer another ask about how this AU effects the storyline of Ghostbusters if you wanna give that a read first! It'll help to give an understanding for the plot c: But to answer your question, Robot Egon is pretty humanoid but he's not highly advanced humanoid like the Androids in Detroit: Become Human. His actual body (which is sorta designed like a mannequin doll) is made of the strongest metals the robotics company had at the time of the incident. His human skin is made up of rubber to cover up his metal body (which yes can be burnt off and its a bit of a scary sight), his hair is soft colored metal but scrunching it in your hand is akin to squeezing a metal sponge, and his blood mostly consists of oil and coolant. During the 'Awakening' period as a robot as Egon calls it, he took the time to study his body and what he was capable of now that he was beyond human flesh and bones. After a few days of studying his strengths and limits, the idea of experimenting and mechanically rearranging or upgrading parts of his body became known. With the help of Ray (much to slight discomfort of performing a live mechanical vivisection on his close friend), Egon managed to build himself into a living proton pack and ghost trap. The palms of his hands become neutrona wands, while his chest can suck up ghosts and hold them temporarily till they needed to be emptied. Oh, and he also upgraded his eyes to become PKE scanners. So if you see the sight of green light shining up and down, chances are it's Egon looking for the ghost with his eyes.

GIW bitches is a variation on 'what happens if GIW captures Danny', but instead or vivisection and experimenting and whatnot, they use Danny, Dani, Dan and Jazz as sort of K9 units. Not exactly a living weapon, but the Fentons are kept under control, kind of like Suicide Squad? The story happens in Gotham, when Undergrowth takes over a part of it, and Bats are forced to work with GIW because their own weapons don't work. I planned to split them up into teams: Bruce and Cass go with Jazz, Tim with Danny, Jason with Dani, and Damian and Dick with Dan. But, eh, right now, I've only written the chapter with Jazz, and then other ideas got me in the chokehold, so it's postponed.

As for Space Fights, that's the one I'm going mad about right now! I don't know if you've seen Sonnie's Edge, the very first episode of Love, Death, and Robots, but it's pretty much that, mixed with some How to Train your Dragon vibes and also maybe Pacific Rim stuff?

Basically, Tim goes on an undercover mission to look into Ra's new business that revolves around beast fights - think underground dog fights, but with genetic experiments. Only it's not just beasts, it's a human controlling a beast through some sci-fi shit. So, Tim goes investigating, but that requires looking from the inside, so he searches for a team that can hire him with no prior experience. He gets into a team called Ghost - Jazz is a biology expert, Tucker is a technical expert, and one of the, um, an operator of the beast, and Sam and Danny are the monsters. Valerie used to be on the same team, but she left just a few days ago, that's why Tuck and Jazz were looking for a new member.

There's a lot happening in there, but it mostly revolves around space sci-fi cyberpunk vibes with the added flavor of overthrowing the rich assholes. I have so many ideas about it, I just hope I have the time to write them all

Continuing KO's cinema preferences talks: Would he enjoy The Saw (the franchise)? What about the silence of the lambs?

I got the impression Knock Out might enjoy horror films cuz he likes the gory effects and it’s fun to watch humans scramble around and die, so I think he’d like the Saw franchise! I think I’ve only seen the first… 5 or 7? movies in the series, though, and it was as a teenager, so I’m not sure how crazy the latter parts get LMAO 😂

I imagine the first movie might be kind of boring to KO, since I can’t imagine he’d be too invested in the squishies’ interpersonal drama, but after that he might find the creative torture devices fascinating and ponder how to apply them to Cybertronian anatomy—that one device that latched onto the guy’s back and pumped acid into his torso comes to mind.

Silence of the Lambs is one of my favourite films of all time, so I wish I could say that Knock Out would like it, BUT I THINK HE’D FIND IT KIND OF BORING 💀 The thriller, suspense, and psych-horror genres work cuz they present uncomfortable / stressful situations on the captive audience, but I’m not sure if KO would be able to immerse enough for that to be effective 🤔 You have to care about Clarice, be unnerved by Hannibal, be invested in the mystery (and whether Buffalo Bill gets caught or escapes)… And if KO primarily likes movies for a fun gory time, he’s not going to get that from SotL!

He might think the cannibalism and Bill’s desire to construct a human flesh suit are interesting (and potentially remind him of other ’Cons he’s met before), and the character dynamics are surprisingly rich, but he might walk out thinking it was just okay. Perhaps mildly disappointed there wasn’t that much cannibalism, when that’s supposed to be Hannibal’s thing. I think he might also be surprised that the cannibalism was like—cooking people into food, rather than biting into his victims insecticon / terrorcon / zombie-style.

I feel like his taste in movies would reflect his own personal proclivities to an extent—he’s visually-oriented, likes to win, likes to be entertained, has high-octane hobbies like street racing and vivisection. He’s very smart, but not cerebral or ruminating. He’s one of the bad guys, so of course he’s not gonna root for the good ones—he wants the nice, underdog protagonists to lose!

So I think he’d have more fun with fast-paced, action-packed flicks (especially if there are monsters) and probably laugh along to trashy splatter / slasher films. I think if a movie is too stupid it’ll have to be gory enough to balance that out, though.

… I think he would relish Prometheus (2012), up until the point David gets his shit rocked, and then he’d be miffed because he found some investment in the evil treacherous robot plotting against the idiot humans aboard his ship. (HE EVEN PUNISHED THEM FOR INTERFACING! DAVID MVP)

Ok this post got me (and no, I will not go anon for the unhinged shit im gonna say next) Im not into omo so I'm gonna sweep that part under the rug but like. KOBD absolutely have the most fucked up sex known to man- (and robot-) kind. Like. KO regularly does surgery on Breakdown and makes him WATCH him root around in his internals and mess with things. On one hand I feel like he would turn of BD's pain receptors so he's not in agony, on the other hand I think its funny if Breakdown is so TURNED ON by this that it completely overrides whatever pain he might be feeling.

KO like. Removes BD's valve/gestattion chamber (he keeps it attached to his frame via a few lines but thats about it) and makes BD fuck himself by having his DETACHED VALVE "ride" BD's (very errect) spike. Maybe KO will like. Fuck BD's internals. Hell I once read a fic where tarantulas fucks prowl in the eye socket and I can TOTALLY see KO doing that.

I can see KO, like, setting up humiliating scenarios for BD to end up in (such as putting a vibrator in his valve and making SURE BD overloads in front of bots) and the shame/humiliation makes BD overload again. Oh my god, I saw the first one and I was like WTF? If you don't want someone to play a character just because of their skin color… that's racist as hell. Can you imagine someone saying Chris Evans shouldn't play the Captain because he's white…?

But that it's Kit's fault…? He's doing his job, people choose who they're more interested in. If any other actor had been in his place, it could have ended the same way.

Teddy is a tall, athletic, handsome, blue-eyed, blond, jock type, because - this is going to shock you - he WANTED to be stereotypical. After all, this is a YA Presents plot - he wanted to fit in, he wanted to be part of a stereotypical clique, and his human - or rather Kree - appearance helped him with that. (Yes, in 2006 they showed Teddy as a little skinny guy who adopted a more muscular look, but later issues changed that and he stopped pretending and instead referred to himself as "buff as check.") So to blame this on him being "dated" is pointless, because it's a significant theme of wanting to fit in. Sure, Teddy can look any way he wants, so his skin color doesn't really matter, but everything else is important, and changing the fact that he's always been a jock can change the character too much - does any MCU Flash resemble the Flash in anything other than their last names?

And oh, and I'm so grateful that Eddie didn't turn out to be Teddy. I think WV and AAA were weird Wattpad fanfics that treated Billy's character like they threw him in a blender, flushed him down the toilet, and made "Billy Maximoff" out of the leftovers. If someone were to write Teddy, I beg you to let it be someone who will leave anything of the character he should have been.

Teddy weak…? Teddy is a fucking powerhouse who people underestimate because, as he himself said to Kl'rt - "he doesn't like to brag". Sure, he may seem weaker than he is in Billy's company, because Billy is Billy, but Teddy is actually a tough competitor. He has a strength of around 75-100 tons, he was able to withstand a fight with The Thing, he knocked out a Sentinel with one punch, he punched a Super Skrull through a building, he stopped Thor's hammer with his sword, his shapeshifting skills are so good that he perfectly imitated a robot, and he has such an excellent regeneration factor and adaptations that his body moved organs during vivisection. Is he weak? Sure, the MCU would definitely weaken him, but people underestimate my boy! But for that you would have to read at least the Wikipedia article…

And if Billy heard someone say that he "should be with a human", he would magically kick that person's ass and then walk off into the sunset with his space king…
