So when Jon comes back, and he’s 18 to Damian’s 17, everyone keeps making jokes about how he has to “wait a couple of months” because Jon’s crush on Damian is the most obvious thing in the world. (Unless you’re Damian, of course.) Now Jon is blushing furiously and avoiding eye contact, but Damian doesn’t get it?? Why is Jon so flustered? Jon, stop acting weird. We’re just going to see a movie. Stop blushing. You’re above this, Jon. Why won’t you hug me anymore? I thought you liked hugs. No, I don’t like them, but I’ve come to tolerate them from you. The Wayne property being large enough to have a private farm if they wished to, but Bruce for obvious reasons not allowing Damian to literally turn their backyard into a wildlife sanctuary even if it’s so financially easy to maintain for them must be frustrating to him.

Because then there’s Jon, who has lived his entire life in a farm with different kinds of animals and if a stray walked into the farm, Clark would not hesitate to take them in, even if they aren’t sure how they will feed all of their animals (or themselves) that month.

And you know Damian ‘animal lover’ Wayne was losing his shit when he found out that Jon gets to have as many animals as he pleases (even if he chooses not to) when he has to beg to keep one tiny little cat (it’s the fifth one this week).
