I decided that Grace is somewhat a Yuu. But you know, not following traditional game lore. She goes to the ceremony and actually gets sorted into Diasomnia.

The whole thing with Grim does go down just... as an isolated incident with Crowley being the one to keep watch over the him until he figures out exactly what to do.

But Grace? Sorted into Diasomnia. If I recall correctly, Diasomnia is a dorm where they value those with strong magical power and honor? Don't quote me on that, I do believe I read it on an analysis on here once. I ran with that analysis though.

Arthurian Mythology tends to follow the chivaric code, which can often be seen in Lilia, Silver and Sebek! Knight's honor and what not. Besides, it just makes sense. It'd be the perfect dorm if only they didn't scoff at her at every turn simply because her magic isn't all there at the moment. When reading the theory and everything, it makes sense. But in practice? It's lacking, comparable to a child that's just starting and can't even levitate a spoon.

So they scoff at her at every turn. Her fellow first year, Sebek berates how she'd bring shame to the dorm as a human, others simply shame her and try to reason that the mirror made a mistake. That she probably shouldn't have been accepted into the school. (Call back to how in the novel others tend to scorn Yuu because he's magicless and still an alumni.)

→ These are her first two weeks of school until she sighs and goes to Lilia (since Malleus is MIA) to discuss changing dorms. Not to please the others but more-so because she's just so over it lmao

She got used to the training grounds there for her sword fighting though, and Sebek and Silver are both great sparring partners but FUCK if people aren't annoying. Lilia ever the father figure decides to make a compromise. They speak to Crowley and Crowley reasons that if she simply doesn't want to be in the dorm she couldn't switch (the other dorms aren't appealing, maybe Savanaclaw because training sessions, but Diasomnia is the best in her opinion) which is WHEN Ramshackle is brought up.

And until she can basically jump start her magic to where it used to be, she gets to stay in Ramshackle Dorm.. despite it being abandoned and well... Ramshackle. Crowley also gives her the task to watch after Grim. Maybe figuring how to tame this dire beast will help her do somethings here and there.

→ THIS. Is where the game begins! Basically!

She's already a student when the [Prologue] where she meets Ace + Deuce officialy happens. She still accompanies them to the mine and Deuce is the one to make note of how not-afraid she is despite lacking proper magic. Ace kinda shrugs him off about it, but like she's literally about to throw hands with a stick. Actually I wonder if she has a sword/baton like Silver?

She doesn't use the Diasomnia uniform actually! She uses some random vest she found in Ramshackle when cleaning out and doesn't really wear the Diasomnia Dorm uniform either pffft. Has it though. The little Dorm ribbon? She has it in her bag, just doesn't use it.

Deuce and Ace stick with her after that, though she kinda side eyes Ace often because you know.... Ace will be Ace. And some of the shit he does really grinds her gears, but she does have a soft spot for Deuce especially after book 1. Something about how he does everything to make his mom proud really resonates with her... though she doesn't know why.

Ah, she doesn't remember anything from before waking up in the lake. Haha.

My favorite thing about working on Grace has GOT to be how I worked with each overblot scenario fixing it to match her character. How to honor these knightly code values that stay in her mind, instincts at this point. Why she reacts how she does. So let's separate each book in like... conflicts and how they affect those around them. Is it within the dorm? Is it an internal conflict? Does it affect the whole school? External conflict.

→ Book 1 (internal conflict)

At first she kinda... sides with Riddle. Ace's ridiculous excuses and she'd be like "yeah, kinda serves you right." But then Deuce comes in and talks about how ridiculous some of the rules are and she goes "Huh. Let's go see then." Meets Cater, sees how utterly stupid these rules really can be and well- we all know how Book 1 goes down.

It's called The Rose-Red Tyrant for a reason. And that kicks her chivalrous ideology into play. She's gotta help sort out this internal conflict before it gets out of hand. It's great.

Of course that's... internal conflic, just imagine when it's external and concerns more than one dorm.

→ Book 2 (external conflict)

Leona's whole thing practically affects everyone. Hurting players in other dorms already irks the living hell out of her, foul play and what not. But going as far to involve her actual dorm? I think... at the end is when Ace and Deuce kinda find out that she's in Diasomnia. Like.... I'm just saying as someone who did those types of ceremonies where they drone on calling people one by one like graduations... you zone out at some point.

Anyways, I DO HAVE WRITTEN DOWN WHAT SHE SAYS TO LEONA. Because yeah Lilia goes off at him but like so does girly. I think it was.

"It is a good thing that you are the second Prince. if this is how you behave as the Leader of a Dorm, then I can not fathom to imagine how you would be as the Leader of a Country."

Which, you know.... is a dick move and DOES add to his overblot. But also Lilia follows along with his Malleus speech. Silver watches amused and Sebek agrees. Ace and Deuce are like "holy shit" but Deuce lowkey is like "that's kinda-" (I'm bringing Deuce up alot, aren't I? :) That's an important detail for later. Keep in mind, she was meant to be with Silver, at first.)

Anyways, those are like two of the best examples of how it comes to dealing with overblots, it's pretty fun actually!

An important detail is that I don't... think she's in any club right now. When she was a Yuu I had noted down that she used to be in a fencing club, which I would like to include but the closest thing is the training/sparing sessions Sebek and Silver often do. So she often can be found in Diasomnia sparring with Silver which leads to... the rumor mill rumor milling haha

Twst Shere Khan? Twst Shere Khan~

Decided to take a slightly different approach on a twst oc, by making him an NRC alumni and previous Savanaclaw housewarden from 50 years ago.

Idris Khal was a prolific Spelldrive player from his schools days and even went on to the professional leagues, until a serious injury to his leg forced him to retire in his 30s. But despite his injury, the beastman did not stop his contributions to the sport, becoming a professional trainer for new players to the official leagues. While in his mid 60s, he is still just as lively and charming as he was in his youth, and still a physically imposing force if necessary. After all, an injured tiger is still a tiger...and to underestimate a tiger can lead to a fatal mistake.

Bonus Notes: George Sanders performance from the original animated feature was a big influence to Idris’ character, and his full body design was inspired by a broadway performance of the Jungle Book that was brought to my attention by the YouTube Channel Collins LooksBack (I highly recommend this channel if you’re into villain deep dives and character history, from early concepts to post film publication and lore history~).

I also plan on explore a Housewarden uniform from 50 years ago for Savanaclaw as a fun costume evolution to the current motorcycle influence that the game has for the dorm~

The Dorm Leaders in Red's Time

Now that I posted about Red, I can about post the dorm leaders from his time.

When making Red, I initially had him in Ramshackle but now his dorm is in purgatory. I also made him close to the dorm leaders of the time and that resulted in me making MORE OCs. In present time, they're all Night Raven College alumni. They're all ~40 years old because I had Red come from 20 years before Main Story. Most of them are designed to be a foil to their original counterparts. Some are involved in North's story but aren't as involved in the crossover compared to Red and Abigail.

7 profiles under the cut because I don't want to make 7 separate posts. have fun trying not to lose your sense of literacy.

Lucero Espinosa, the former Diasomnia dorm leader, is a tutor primarily handling magic education subjects. He joins NRC staff after Book 4. Twisted from Dean Hardscrabble in "Monsters University".

He makes and uploads videos teaching his viewers magic to make magic education accessible to those who can't take the subjects at school. Most people don't know about the channel and he never talks about it.

He likes bugs and insects. Unless it's mosquitoes.

He was nominated for dorm leader and others challenged him for the role by magic duel.

When he gets mad, he appears more calm. If he's mad at you, you will feel like you will be torn to shreds. "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed."

Ignatius Kowalski, the former Ignihyde dorm leader, is a blacksmith. Very loosely twisted from the Snuggly Duckling thugs, especially Attila, in "Tangled".

The mask is cosmetic. He wears it to hide his facial expression, partly to avoid being judged based on that. He has many masks in varying colors and patterns.

Under the mask, he is rather beautiful that he wouldn't be out of place in Pomefiore.

He is still introverted and shy. He is more open with friends.

As a blacksmith, he mostly makes decorative items. He sometimes collaborates with Demetrius if magestones are involved. He has made a sculpture before because he was issued a challenge.

He is not from TWST!Corona. He did go there for an internship with a veteran blacksmith (TWST!Xavier) in his fourth year and met friends at a pub (who are also twisted from the Snuggly Duckling thugs but closer).

Demetrius Marsh, the former Pomefiore dorm leader, is a gemologist working with magestones. Twisted from Madame Medusa in "The Rescuers".

Tends to use he/him when referring to himself but is okay with any pronouns

Wears a corset from time to time

From Jubilee Port

Better at flying a broom than driving a car. He's still working on getting his driver's license.

Erhan Aksoy, the former Scarabia dorm leader, is a Magicam user and photographer who documents events. Twisted from Prince Achmed in "Aladdin".

He is not fond of cats. He doesn't hate them, he just doesn't want to get scratched or bit and he doesn't understand cat behavior.

Has accidentally discovered a new species once.

He wants to leave some kind of lasting impact and feel like his life meant something which is why he has a Magicam account.

Is also influenced by Prince Achmed in Starkid musical "Twisted" lmao

Jasper Seymour, the former Octavinelle dorm leader, is a museum curator focusing on magical artifacts. Twisted from Lyle Tiberius Rourke from "Atlantis: the Lost Empire".

Despite his strong appearance, he actually leans toward the academics.

Sandip Gupta, the former Savanaclaw dorm leader, is now a martial arts instructor. Twisted from Shere Khan in "The Jungle Book". (I don't like this drawing but don't feel like redoing it lmao)

(bengal) tiger beastman

His primary elemental magic is Fire. He chose to hone fire because he believes being able to control it dispells the fear and association with destruction.

He would unironically have training montage songs like "I'll Make a Man Out of You" or "Eye of the Tiger" in his workout playlist.

He took one good look at Red and went "get in loser, your training starts now". And so he taught Red martial arts and hand-to-hand combat.

He becomes the one who adopts North

Sato (サト) is somehow the most distant one out of the group despite remaining close with them. Twisted from King Candy from "Wreck-it Ralph".

Sato is a nickname, not his real name. The others referred to him by first name back in the NRC days.

Ironically, he dislikes sweets. He prefers bitter foods. If he had to pick a candy, it would be dark chocolate.

He builds PCs. He mainly works with desktop PCs but has a built laptop for him to carry around.

His day job is unknown. The gang sometimes jokes about him being a secret agent and he humors them for the bit. The joke allows him to step out during hangouts without question.

Hello! I hope you're doing well! Would it be okay to request headcanons for the dorm leaders reacting to their fem!crush wearing their dorm's Uniform (not the dorm leaders specifically; just the regular one)? Ramshackle doesn't have its own uniform so maybe Crush was curious?

Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle sputters and stops dead on his tracks, closing the door when he notices you were throwing on a jacket. “Sorry, I didn’t know you were changing! I didn’t see anything!” He says before he even sees anything, and you just laugh to yourself.

You open the door to tell him it’s alright, you were already done and just putting the jacket on! Then it hits him it’s Heartslabyul’s uniform, and... wow. You already were a honorary Heartslabyul member, but seeing you in the uniform actually makes Riddle’s heart swell with pride.

His face was already red, but it goes even redder. He can’t help but smile, though. “It looks good in you.” Is what he settles for. “Do you, um... maybe want a few more spares? I don’t know where you got this one, but I wouldn’t mind providing them.”

Leona Kingscholar

It was just an experiment, you were hanging out in Savanaclaw and Ruggie, along with a few others, were selling the dorm uniforms from the year prior that they had outgrown. You realize you had always been curious about them, so you buy a set and make your way back to Ramshackle.

Leona would often invite himself there, but you weren’t really thinking about it as you tied the bandana around your neck, shifting poses in front of the mirror, trying to decide if you liked the way you looked or not... until you hear the door opening, followed by his stomping and yawning “Hey, Herbivore, are you...”

Then he stops. He looks at you and you look at him, and he gets that smug expression on his face. “What, did you want to try on my clothes? Could’ve just asked.” You roll your eyes and tell him you were trying the uniform in general, but the bastard already got to teasing you, so there’s no stopping him now.

Azul Ashengrotto

Students selling uniforms they’d outgrown isn’t uncommon on Octavinelle either, being such a business-minded dorm. And they did get decently popular, with how elegant they looked. You thought it couldn’t hurt to get yourself a set, especially when you didn’t have a dorm uniform of your own.

You took it to Azul’s room since you knew he’d be busy for a while, and he’d previously told you he didn’t mind it if you went there without a warning. Changing into it is decently easy, though the uniform isn’t particularly comfortable, you pull it around a bit, trying to make it better, and...

“Ah, I was just... looking for a few documents.” Azul’s voice comes in, and he stands in the doorway, staring. The smile he gets afterwards is wobbly, but clearly fond. “It does suit you quite well, I have to say. But if you wanted to try it out, you could’ve just told me. I’d have it tailored for you.”

Kalim Al-Asim

In helping out Jamil with cleaning some of the storage rooms, you ended up finding an old set of the Scarabia’s dorm uniform. You asked him who owned it, to which he replied with a shrug, saying it was probably an alumni’s. You ask if you can keep it, and he doesn’t seem to mind.

You actually decide to try it and show it to Kalim, who you thought might be quite excited upon seeing you in his dorm’s uniform, as the leader and as your boyfriend. You change in the storage room itself after Jamil leaves, then you go out looking for him.

“Hey! I was looking for you too!” He chimes instantly upon seeing you, then his eyes go as wide as saucers, a big smile shining on his face. “Wait, wait, is that my dorm’s uniform?” You giggle and say yes, asking how you look, and Kalim beams. “It looks so good on you! Oh, do you wanna get a couple more sets? I could have them ordered for you! You could also customize them if you want! And...” He goes on and on, and you conclude you were right on your guess of his reaction.

Vil Schoenheit

You were considering having a Ramshackle dorm uniform commissioned, but you were running low on inspiration, so naturally, you decided to look into Pomefiore’s, both because of how distinctively elegant it was, and how easy it’d be to get a spare, being Vil’s girlfriend.

It turns out its proud members were quite happy to help you, and you take it to Vil’s room where you could try it out without being interrupted... or so you thought, until you were struggling with the belt, and the door opened.

“You... oh.” He quickly realizes what’s going on, and his expression softens as he makes his way to you, taking ahold of the belt and quickly tying the cord around your waist, chuckling. “We should get this tailored for you, though, if you want... it’d be a shame to waste your potential on an unflattering uniform... you can definitely pull this off too, though.”

Idia Shroud

One afternoon, you were hanging out with Idia in his bedroom, as you usually would, and as he waited for his new game to download, you kind of idly rummaged through his things, which lead you to finding one of his old uniform sets, from two whole years prior.

He’s distracted, so you can quickly make your way to a spot mostly out of his field of vision in the room, then slip into the thankfully simply built uniform, closing the jacket around you before you hop back into his field of vision, and ask him how you look.

And, with Idia being Idia, of course you get that sort of reaction. He goes red all over, from his face to the flames of his hair. “Is that... is that...” He keeps stuttering, pointing at you and looking flustered to death. You ask him if he likes it, doing a little twirl, and he covers his face for a second, making yet another mortified noise, before he mutters out the world’s squeakiest yes.

Malleus Draconia

He steps into the scene and a big smile makes its way across his face. You’d been trying to figure out how all those buckles and zippers worked, the jacket open while the rest of the clothing was more or less in place.

“Would you like any help, Child of Man?” He asks warmly, stepping towards you. There’s a faint blush on his cheeks when you chuckle, a bit embarrassed, and explain Lilia had lent you the spare, apologizing for the trouble as he zips up the jacket for you, then moving on to the belts.

“There’s no need for you to apologize. It’s really not that easy to get the hang of, but I’m sure you eventually will.” He says, still smiling. “You look beautiful in this. We’d be happy to have you in Diasomnia.” And he kisses you on the forehead, just overtaken by his fondness.

Club: Gargoyle Research Society, although her presence is sporadic and not always consistent.

Best Subject: Ancient Curses.

Hobbies: Studying the Bermuda Triangle. Breeding and raising spiders for races and hostile domestication, specifically black huntsman.

Pet Peeves: Pushy people. Firemen.

Favorite Food: Premium gasoline.

Least Favorite Food: Sweet things, charcoal desserts excluded.

Talent: Top level mastery of fire magic.

The Addams family lineage has one of the longest histories with Night Raven College, having been part of its student body since day one and long since supported with annual donations from proud alumna and alumni alike! While some - like the Phantomhive clan - have a withstanding reputation to a specific dorm, the Addams clan has always been smattered all over the place; Savanaclaws, Heartslabyuls, Scarabias, Pomefiores, Ignihydes, Octavinelles, and Diasomnias .. you throw a rock, you’re bound to hit every single one eventually, from regular students to Dorm Leaders!

When Wednesday Addams was accepted by the Mirror of Darkness, it was when she was but 14 years old, two years younger than the expected arrival. She’s a child prodigy, far surpassing grades in her regular school and landing in advanced classes, eventually leading to an early graduation which granted her full-time acceptance into the NRC.

Given her dark presence, there was little surprise when she was sorted into Diasomnia. However, there was surprise when a black spider the size of her head crept over her shoulder as she showed off her green magical pen to it, giving quite the nasty start to surrounding students ( and professors ).

Wednesday has her own familiar, a black huntsman spider named “Homer”. He is an old creature who has been around ever since Wednesday was very young, and is both her champion racer and breed pedigree, being the father to hundreds upon hundreds of huntsman spiderlings. She says he makes an excellent yo-yo.

There is an enormous glass enclosure in the alchemy lab dedicated to a great variety and number of spiders to be used in ingredients. This enclosure is the responsibility of Wednesday, who (mostly) single-handedly oversees the broods and assures there are plenty to be used in class, having immensely grown the species and quantity in time as an NRC student. It was a reward from Professor Crewel during her first year after impressing him with her talent for breeding deadly spiders when she was caught with her own zoo in the Diasomnia dorm.. honestly, he’s just relieved to be hands-off with arachnids for four years. Students notoriously avoid the enclosure, or stupidly dare one another to go in.

When resonant with her magic, Wednesday has long, transparent black horns grow from her head until she winds down.

Ace: Ace! Ace Trappola.

Mirror of Darkness: The shape of thy soul is...

Heartslabyul!

Ace: I knew it’d be Heartslabyul. It’s the same dorm my alumni brother was in.

Riddle: Hey! When your sorting is finished, you are to promptly return to your seat.

It’s completely unacceptable for anyone who calls himself a Heartslabyul student to ever be disruptive.

Ace: Roger that, Dorm Leader! I’m taking my seat now!

What’s with him? He’s so short but real scary.

Anyway, I finished my dorm sorting without any issues...

Next we just wait for everyone else to get sorted, and then the entrance ceremony will be done. I can take it easy ♪

(Deuce goes up)

Mirror of Darkness: Heartslabyul!

Ace: Whoa, that serious-looking guy is in the same dorm as me? He looks like the kinda guy I’d never be friends with.

The teachers and dorm leaders have been watching the sorting with the most serious looks on.

This looks like it’ll be a while, and no one would notice if one or two people slipped out till the sorting finished, right?

I should bring someone that looks kinda weak with me just in case.

That way, if a teacher happens to catch us leaving, we could just say we were looking for the infirmary.

Let’s see who’s close to my spot... Oh! The guy in front of me looks super dainty from behind. He’d be perfect to bring!

Hey, you, other freshman. There’s something I wanna ask you...

Epel: What is it...?

Ace: Whoa?!

Epel: You’re... really loud. We’re in the middle of a ceremony.

Ace: M-My bad, sorry.

That surprised me... I thought he was a girl when he turned around...

Epel: ...Did you say something?

Ace: No, no, nothing! What I wanted to ask you about was... Isn’t it boring how long we have to sit through this sorting?

Epel: Well... Yes.

Ace: So let’s go out for a while till everyone’s done getting sorted.

Chapter 2

Ace: Here’s the courtyard~ This must be the best spot to skip, ‘cause my brother was always recommending it.

Epel: Yeah...

Ace: Oh, there’s a bench under the apple tree! Looks perfect for napping on, huh?

If a teacher came over, you could just pass it off by saying “I have a stomachache and needed to rest a little~”

Epel: ...You could.

Ace: ...I kinda feel like I’ve been the only one really talking so far. Are you bored or something?

Epel: No...

Ace: Are you starting to regret sneaking out of the ceremony?

Epel: No, it’s not that...

Ace: Hey, Epel. These responses aren’t really telling me anything.

Ace: Hmm... Oh yeah, Epel, are you sure you’re not actually a girl? To be honest, I was really shocked when I first called out to you.

I hope the sorting’s almost done~ I’m really tired of watching it.

Epel: It’s true there are about.... 200 freshmen... I think.

Ace: Egh, so many!! So that’s why it takes forever.

But next we’re going to have to line up in groups of 30, and walk over together to our dorms... Man, it’s a hassle.

Surprised was one way to put it. Hinamori, was by all rights, a busy woman, too busy to stop for lasting conversations. Therefore, its no secret she was familiar with workload or preoccupied environments.

It didn’t look like she came in, at a wrong time though.

Visits from the Vice Dorm Leaders

Trey stood outside of the Pomefiore dorm. He wanted to check in on Riddle. Sure, he’s seen him around school, but not a lot. Plus a lot of Pomefiore students Rook drag him away during lunch, so Trey doesn’t get to see Riddle a lot. The Heartslabyul vice dorm leader heads inside. He was amazed with the dorm’s interior. There were pillars of marble, red carpets, velvet curtains, and pretty people everywhere. He stopped a passing student, Epel.

“Excuse me. Sorry, but can I get some help?”

“Oh, you are Heartslabyul’s vice dorm leader, right?”

“That’s right. Is Riddle here?”

“Yeah. Riddle-senpau is in his quarters. Follow me.”

Epel led Trey through the dorm. The dorm leader’s quarters was sealed by a large, double door. This dorm did not hold back on anything. The student knocked on the door. A voice could be heard from the other side.

“What is it?”

“There is some here to see you, Riddle-senpai.”

“Send them in.”

The door opened and the student let Trey into the room before closing the door behind him. In the room, Riddle was sitting at the vanity and practicing makeup. He turned to look at who came for him.

“Trey…”

“Hey, Riddle. Haven’t seen you in a while.”

“Yeah. I’ve been meaning to talk with you regarding Heartslabyul, but Rook-senpai keeps dragging me away to eat with the others.”

“Haha. Wow, you got a serious glow up since being here.”

“Huh?”

“Literally. Your skin is glowing.”

“Oh, that’s the highlighter. Vil’s special highlighter is very bright and luminescent. Shine a light on me and I’m pretty sure my skin will become as bright as these chandeliers.” Then Riddle repeated Trey’s words in his head. “Wait, I know you weren’t just talking about the highlighter when you said ‘glow up!’ What did you mean by that?”

“Nothing bad!” Trey held up his hands in defense.

Ruggie smiled and hummed a little tune as he walked down the pathway to Heartslabyul. He thought he’d pay a surprise visit to his lazy senpai. He heard a groan in a low voice and took that as a sign. He walked into the Rose Maze and saw Leona in a nice cape and squeezing out water from his hair. He, himself, was also soaking wet. Ruggie did not hold back his laughter.

“Pfft-aHAHAHA!!! What happened to you? Hahaha!” Ruggie held his stomach because he thought the view before him was so funny. Leona froze, knowing that laugh and voice all too well. He stood up and looked over at Ruggie.

“Shut it, Ruggie. It’s not funny.”

“It kind of is. Nope. Sorry. It’s REALLY funny.”

“Ugh, whatever.”

“So, what happened to you?”

“Cater Diamond happened.”

“Elaborate.”

“Apparently I broke one of the hundreds of rules of the dorm.”

“How does that relate to you being soaking wet?”

“Riddle’s magic was used to punish those who broke the dorm rules, but I can’t do it. So I gave Cater the hose to spray any rule breakers…including me…” That’s when Ruggie broke. He fell onto the ground on his back, laughing and clutching his stomach. Leona groaned, but he got an idea. He took his new cape and squeezed the water out of it over the laughing hyena.

“Haha-AGH! Hey!” Ruggie immediately stopped laughing and glared at Leona, who had a smug look on his face.

“You dare to laugh at me? I am not just the King of Beasts, I am the King of Hearts. Laugh any longer then…off with your head.”

Jade, along with Floyd, stood outside the dorm of Ignihyde. Floyd wanted to see Azul in his new natural habitat. The inside the dorm was just as dark and gloomy as the outside. There were torches lit with blue fire along the walls. Out of nowhere, Azul appears before the twins with a gentle smile.

“Welcome to Ignihyde, Jade. Floyd. I’m glad you could come visit.”

“Whoh!” Floyd jumps a little from the sudden appearance. “When did you start sneaking around like that?”

“I saw you two approach the dorm through the security cameras. Plus, we have an alarm for when someone enters the dorm area through the Ignihyde Mirror.” Jade chuckles.

“That’s very impressive. So, how are you doing here in the dorm of technology?”

“I’m doing just fine. Follow me. I’ll show you to our main research room.”

Azul smiles and leads the twins to the research room. Once there, the twins were in shock and awe. The room was black, but it was covered in lights, screens, and wires.

“This is where many experiments and research takes place. Once everyone saw you two on the cameras, they retreated to their rooms to do their research there.”

“Eh? Are we that scary?” Floyd asked.

“Perhaps, but everyone here is rather shy. Try not to take too much offense to it. With my reputation, everyone is still rather cautious of me.”

“I take it you haven’t made any deals here yet?”

“Unfortunately, no. No one has been courageous enough to ask for anything. They’re all content with their technology.”

As Jade and Azul talked about the dorm, Floyd wandered off to look at all the gadgets. He touched a button, and a bright blue screen projected up in front of him. He took off his glove, placed his finger on it and swiped it, a new screen showing up.

“Whoa! This is so cool! How did they do this?” Floyd’s amazement caught Azul’s and Jade’s attention. Azul walks over.

“Ah, that’s one of the earlier projects from several years ago. They combined the technology with image projection from classroom projectors and the touch sensitivity of our phones. With a little magic, the projections ‘corporeal’ of sorts.”

“Huh?” Floyd looked at Azul in confusion. “How does that even work?”

“The projectors are connected to the dorm’s computer system, so the projection will show a computer home screen. Using magic, the alumni were able to give the projection a physical form while maintaining it’s transparent look. Combining that with the touch screen technology has created a physical, transparent projection of sorts. When you touch the screen, the presence of your finger interrupts the flow of the photo and electric current, allowing you to swipe the screen like our phones.” Azul shows them how it works and reveals that you can use it with gloves. He turns back to the twins. “Of course, this is old technology now and is still being improved. At the moment, we’re trying to figure out how to compress it so it can be used mobile. So far, it’s only been uploaded to and tested on Idia’s tablet. The tenants believe that it might be compatible with the mobile phone soon.”

“…” Jade and Floyd look at him and are silent.

“What?” Azul looks at them in confusion. Floyd speaks for both him and Jade mostly him.

“You have become a huge nerd.”

“Wha-…hey!”

Lilia hummed and walked through the gardens of Scarabia. He stopped to watch a purple peacock walk by. He was amazed an animal could be such a vivid color. He followed it through the garden, only to be stopped by the dorm leader.

“Can you refrain from acting suspicious around the dorm?” Lilia looked up and smiled.

“Malleus! It’s been a while! How’s the new dorm treating you?”

“What are you doing here, Lilia?”

“Just came by for a visit! All of the vice dorm leaders are visiting our old leaders today. Since the switch, everything is crazy. But every dorm seems to be settling quite nicely with their new leaders. Kalim has really brightened up Diasomnia.”

“I see.”

“Nice outfit by the way. Love the gold on you. It’s a big contrast from your black, green, and silver.”

“It’s not bad. A little more revealing than I’d like, but it works for the heat.”

“So, how’s the dorm? I heard that it’s usually a party palace.”

“It’s alright, I guess. Everyone keeps their distance, so it’s not that much different from Diasomnia.”

“I think this is a good opportunity for you.”

“How is anything about this situation good?”

“You can learn to lighten up a bit. Form some bonds maybe or get other people to get to know you.”

“We’ll see about that. By the way, should you really be here with Kalim as Diasomnia’s dorm leader?”

“I’m sure he’s fine.” Lilia smiled care freely. Knowing Kalim, Malleus sort of doubted that.

Once Rook arrived at the drylands of Savanaclaw, he couldn’t imagine how Vil must be keeping up with his beauty and moisturized skin. He found Jack and got him to take him to “Vil’s” room. The room was very clean and organized. Vil was at the desk with a hand mirror and doing his makeup.

“Knock knock.” Rook said to get Vil’s attention. The dorm leader looked up and smiled. He got up and walked over to Rook.

“Rook, what are you doing here? Why didn’t you tell me you were visiting? If I had known you’d be coming over, I would have made myself more presentable.”

“Fear not, fairest of them all, you are still beautiful. I’m impressed you’ve stayed so hydrated out here.”

“Well, thanks to that toner I got from Azul, my skin has remained moisturized and smooth. As for my hair, it’s a struggle to get it to remain silky and shiny.”

“You are amazing and beautiful as ever, Roi de Poison. Parfait.”

“Thank you. I try.”

“By the way, I LOVE the leather jacket. It suits you very well.”

“You think so? I’m rather thankful for the long sleeves, as it’s more fashionable. I am NOT wearing those vests. The long sleeves are a nightmare because of the heat, but I am not letting my arms tan from the sun. It’s hard enough avoiding it to prevent my face from tanning and aging.” Vil flips his hair and sighs.

“You know, you should try and put Epel in this getup.” Rook suggested, not being serious. Vil does and thinks about it.

“Well, he’s not exactly meant for this look. It would clash with his delicate beauty. But, if I can fill out this leather than so can he. I wonder if there are any spare uniforms around. I’ll have to ask Ruggie when he gets back.”

“Wait, what?”

Ortho entered the Mostro Lounge, knowing that his big brother would be there somewhere. He was guided to a seat and ordered a drink, since he can’t just wander around to look for his brother. When he ordered, he also requested to see his brother. The Octavinelle student nodded and went to get the new manager. Ortho happily looked around the lounge as he waited for his drink and brother to arrive. When his drink was placed in front of him, he looked up to see his big brother serving him.

“Hey, big brother!”

“Nice to see you again, Ortho.” Idia took a seat with Ortho so they can talk. “What are you doing here? I didn’t hear a thing about you coming over.”

“I just wanted to see you. It’s been a while since we could be together.”

“It has. Oh, how is your body? Do you need any updates? I can do them right now since you’re here.”

“I’m alright. Mr. Azul is a fast learner and has been giving me updates.”

“Wow…he’s really smart if he’s able to learn that quickly.”

“But I might need a new update since I haven’t had one in a while.”

“Alright. Finish up your drink and we can go.”

Ortho nods and happily spends some ore time with his brother. The two spent some time talking and catching up. Ortho shared what’s been happening at Ignihyde and how he is sort of like Azul’s mentor. Azul was a fast learner and picked up technological terminology in a heartbeat. Once Ortho finished his drink, the brothers got up and went to “Idia’s” room. He connected Ortho to his computer and began the upgrade. Once finished, the two stayed together some more.

“What’s going on with you and Ashengrotto?” Idia asked curiously.

“He’s great. He’s like an honorary big brother. Although, I’m getting a little concerned.”

“How so?”

“I feel like he’s looking into hacking because I saw him reading about it and asking other around about how to do it.”

“He’s…looking into hacking?” That concerned Idia a lot, and it seemed to be worrying Ortho as well.

“He said something about it helping him with future contracts. Something about gacha pulls.”

That’s when something clicked within Idia.

Jamil looked up at the castle that was Diasomnia’s dorm. He took a deep breath and entered the dorm. As he walked through the halls, he kept on getting stares from the tenants. After all, not many others have the courage to venture into Diasomnia for any reason or no reason at all. He found into Sebek and approached him.

“Excuse me.”

“Hm? Oh, you’re Jamil Viper from Scarabia. Are you here to see Kalim?”

“Yes. I am rather concerned about the situation and wish to check on Kalim.”

“You and me both.” Sebek sighs. “The only thing Silver is concerned with is how this all happened. Well, anyway, follow me. I’ll take you to him.”

“Thank you.”

It was a rather role reversal from the Entrance Ceremony, but Sebek wasn’t going to say anything. They traveled up many flights of stairs and to the tallest tower in the dorm. Sebek knocked on the door.

“Dorm Leader Kalim? It’s Sebek. There’s someone here to see you.”

“Come in!”

Sebek opened the door, letting Jamil in first. There, Kalim sitting at the desk and was struggling to do his homework. He looked up to see who was here and smiled brightly. She got up and ran over to the duo, immediately hugging Jamil.

“JAMIL!”

“WHOA! Do not jump at me so suddenly!”

“I missed you so much!”

“But we see each other at school and in class all the time.”

“It’s not the same! I don’t get to see you outside of school! I’m so lonely here! Sebek and Silver are so distant and Lilia is hardly around with me like you always were.”

“I am loyal to the Young Master. I’m not gonna coddle you.” Sebek interrupted.

“I just want company…” Kalim pouted. Jamil sighs, knowing fully well that Kalim’s clinginess is due to him babying him this whole time. Once this is all over, he’ll have to change that. “So, Jamil, what are you doing here? I didn’t here a word that you were coming.”

“The vice dorm leaders decided to check on our former leaders to see how they were doing.”

“Oh yeah? OH! You should come to the feast tonight!”

“What?” Jamil blanked. Did Kalim just say there was going to be a feast?

“I’ve invited the others to come too! We’ve got a big spread coming tonight!”

“What’s happening here?” Jamil looked over at Sebek, wanting an explanation.

“Dorm leader Kalim has been throwing parties rather frequently. Actually, he threw a feast the day he became our new dorm leader. It was really…interesting. But he single handedly got everyone to party in roughly 1 hour.” That was rather shocking to Jamil.

“Wait, did you say others were coming?”

“Yeah! I invited the other dorms! Ruggie is really excited and so is Vil-senpai!”

‘Probably only to get out of the drylands…’ Jamil thought to himself.

“Plus, I think this is a good chance to let others into Diasomnia and let them know that we aren’t so bad. It’s just because of the categorization of them being powerful and good at magic that make them scary. Everyone is really nice. A little distant, but they’re really nice. I wanted the other dorms to know that too!”

Jamil was rather impressed. Kalim was actually trying to close the distance between Diasomnia and the other dorms. Perhaps Kalim was smarter than he thought.

“Since you’re here, could you help me with my Alchemy homework?”

Or maybe not.

Updated Sprite for Paz Quimera my main twst sona. A NRC security guard.

Paz is a Ignihyde alumni and classmate to my oc Roger and Sam. A very shy catty like beasthuman back when student now a kinda shy but confident guard. Paz is good at carving small figurines of unique animals and secretly computer/networking hacking. Don't be fooled by her shy nature as her tail can really pack a punch and her horns are ready to ram.

Loves preparing for Día de los Muertos with her brother so they can welcome their mother and spend the entire night telling her stories,singing songs,dance,food and learning some interesting family history from her.

On right sprite as picture says that is Reno,Paz's brother but in his Alebrije form. He loves to sing even in this form while Paz dances. Its their form of bonding.

meet Shir-Kani Tigris, Lala’s older brother

Here are a few fun facts about him:

He’s older than Lala by about 4 years; she’s 17 currently and thus Shir is 21

Shir’s also actually an alumni of Night Raven College and used to be part of the Savanaclaw dorm (just like Lala currently)

His name [Shir] is a variation of [Shere] which means “Tiger” or “Lion”, while his other name “Kani” means “Strength; Energy; Powerful; Price”

He towers over his little sister, well given that she’s 156cm it’s not too hard to be taller than her; his height btw is 202cm-- yes, he’s as tall as Malleus

He’s the next in line to become “King” of his clan, although he appears to have no attachments to such a title even though he takes his responsibilities seriously

Shir’s an affable and kind guy, if a bit aloof-- he’s also a pretty serious guys, though not too serious that he’s a stick in the mud... although Lala begs to differ.

He’s also really an overprotective guy, tho this trait isn't at all uncommon in their clan, who will go so far as to be a bodyguard for someone whom he deeply cares about 24/7 (this also extends to his little sister despite her being able to soundly kick his ass 10 times over despite their height and size difference, and the fact that Shir himself is NO PUSHOVER and is really strong himself)

Though he no longer attends the school, at times whenever he’s free from his duties he goes to visit whenever and tries to catch up with Lala... who seems intent to either avoid him/stalk him from afar like a predator would a prey, or challenge him to a death match. Either of the two really.

Shir doesn’t like to admit it but he’s ticklish on the nape of his neck (which is mainly the reason why he grew out his hair and is wearing his current outfit)

Lala: It’s been a long time, aniki~. Want to indulge in a lil sparing for “old time’s sake”~?

Shir: As usual, your itch for blood hasn’t deterred...

Lala: Of course~! It’s YOU I’m facing against after all. The one I most want to beat and tear apart myself~.

Shir: ....

Lala: Stop looking at me with that fucking look of pity on your face, Shir. *her smiles drops as her eyes open with a vicious glare* Every time we meet, you always have that look. It’s pathetic. The next in line has no right to be soft, especially in our clan. Ya know that just as well as I do.

Shir: Of course, the two of us know that all a little too well. .... I just--

Lala: Finish that sentence and I will rip out your throat this instant. And you know very well I could do that barehanded.

Shir: ..... (I know I’ve already apologized to you a thousand times, and you said you’ve long since forgiven me but... that day really made its mark on your psyche... tch.... I really am a failure as an older brother.)
