Can you imagine joking about sensual/homoerotic neck biting for months, thinking about its low likelihood, joking more. Of the many ships in the franchise, only two had even the possibility of sensual neck biting (many got canonical violent vampirizing). One of those ships was specifically told not to touch one another - dang. The other, the likelihood seemed low! The vampire canonically chomped many others! Staying at home on a snow day ft. Dazai refusing to let Chuuya get out of bed

It's probably a bit ooc and not proof read yet though. I wrote this after waking up at around 06:00 so bare with me.

When it's dark and cold outside in the early morning, Dazai despises getting up. He already hates getting up early but when it's freezing outside and dark, he hates it even more.

Chuuya on the other hand often gets up early and isn't bothered by the weather as much as his husband.

He got so used to getting up early or even in the middle of the night due to his work that he often woke up really early even on weekends without any alarm.

While he would stay in bed and would try to doze off again on weekends, he always had to get up on any other day and Dazai was no fan of that.

He often only fell asleep late at night or in the early morning hours so when Chuuya got up for work, he was often only asleep since one or two hours.

Chuuya was well aware of that so he usually didn't woke him up and tried to be as quiet as possible while getting ready, only coming back to the bedroom to give his husband a kiss on the top of his head and to lay a little note on the nightstand which would inform Dazai that he left for work, which wished him a good morning, calling him mackerel, which asked him how he slept and which also informed him if Chuuya had prepared any breakfast for him in the kitchen or any lunch he could take with him to his own work at the ADA. It also always read 'I love you' at the bottom of the note. Sometimes Chuuya also added some random light hearted stuff or would add when he probably came home again.

Chuuya started to write notes like this after he found out that Dazai hated waking up alone, not knowing where Chuuya went, hoping that it would make Dazai a bit ressured and happy. Dazai did in fact love these little notes and kept them all in a box.

However. Sometimes Dazai did wake up while Chuuya was trying to get out of bed quietly and he nearly always tries to make his husband stay in bed with him a little longer. Especially when it's cold and dark outside.

Chuuya and the bed are warm and make him feel safe. Outside it's awfully cold. The bed is cozy too and cuddling with Chuuya is so much more nicer than lying in bed alone and getting up for work later so Dazai thinks that it's only logical that he protests against Chuuya getting up, leaving for work and leaving him alone in their large bed. The weather is indeed perfect for sleepy cuddles too.

As soon as Dazai wakes up, noticing that Chuuya is sitting on the edge of their bed, rubbing his eyes and looking at his phone to see the time, he scoots closer to the redhead, wrapping his arms around his waist and pressing his face against Chuuya's side, whining about Chuuya getting up.

If Chuuya was completely honest, he really wanted to stay in bed, cuddling with his husband, instead of getting ready, facing the cold outside and driving to work in the dark only to sit in his office the whole time and doing paperwork but he knew that he had to so he often managed to convince Dazai to let go of him and promised the now pouting mackerel who was buried under multiple blankets that they could cuddle as soon as he came home again.

However sometimes, Dazai manages to get Chuuya to stay with him in bed a little longer.

One of these times, it had been snowing outside. It was dark and freezing outside, large white snowflakes where falling down and everything was covered in ice and snow. The sidewalks, the roofs, the streets. Everything.

Even the floor of their bedroom seemed to be frozen when Chuuya touched it with his bare feet as he sat on the edge of the bed.

The redhead spend a few minutes, watching the snowflakes fall in front of the bedroom window and with every minute he spend watching the snowflakes, he wanted to stay in bed with Dazai even more.

Outside it was freezing, his feet where already awfully cold from touching the floor, the bed was warm and soft, he craved to hold Dazai and the snow aswell as the dark, created a cozy atmosphere.

While being so chaught up in thoughts, Chuuya didn't notice Dazai stirring awake so he flinched a bit when he felt two arms wrapping around his waist from behind but in a matter of seconds he relaxed again, his lips curling up in an amused and warm smile.

Dazai nuzzled his face against Chuuya's side, sleepily asking Chuuya to stay with him.

Chuuya huffed out a quiet laugh, going through Dazai's messy hair with one hand, telling him that he really wanted to stay but that he had to leave.

Dazai just tightened his grip on Chuuya, mumbling that it's cold outside and that he wasn't allowed to leave him. Besides this it would be snowing anyways. He would have troubles with driving to the headquarters anyways.

Both of them knew that Chuuya could use his ability to literally fly over to the headquarters if he wanted to but on the other hand, Dazai had a point. The most probably couldn't come to work right now anyways if they didn't lived in the apartments of the Port Mafia close to the headquarters. It would surely be hell at work today.

Chuuya just sighed, telling Dazai that he should knew how Mori is and that he can't just stay at home because he felt like it.

Dazai replied that he should just call in sick. Getting sick in this weather is only normal and even Mori can't force someone to come to work sick, risking to infect others. He also most likely needs Chuuya in a perfect shape so he most likely wants him to recover anyways.

While telling him all of this, Dazai started to tug at Chuuya's waist, gently trying to pull him back into bed.

Dazai did have a point with what he said and Chuuya really wanted to stay. Also who knew when a chance like this and a cozy weather like this would come again so Chuuya sighed once more, agreeing to stay at home today.

Dazai hugged his waist thighter, pressing his face onto Chuuya's side and cheerfully thanked him.

Chuuya smiled and told Dazai that he still had to call Mori now to call in sick before he could lie down again and Dazai of course let him do so.

Mori wasn't that happy to hear that Chuuya wouldn't be coming today but he didn't act up and told him kindly to get well soon

After hanging up, Chuuya quickly lied down again, pulling the blankets over them and hugging Dazai who was already waiting for him, a happy, giddy and warm feeling spreading in his chest.

Dazai quickly returned the hug, scooting even closer to Chuuya, closing the gap between them completely before tangling their legs together, startling Chuuya a bit because Dazai's feet where freezing, causing them to bicker playfully about Dazai's cold feet before Chuuya gave in, letting Dazai warm himself.

They went back to cuddling quietly afterwards but it wasn't an unpleasant silence between them. It was a nice and cozy one, Chuuya listening to Dazai's calm and even breathing, a sound which would always ressure him that Dazai was alive, while Dazai listened to Chuuya's heartbeat, making him feel safe and sleepy all over again. They didn't need any words or big gestures to know how happy they were in that moment.

They stayed intertwined like that, cuddling, Chuuya holding Dazai's close, occasionally playing with his brown locks and Dazai occasionally caressing the olders' back until the sun started to rise, slowly lightening up their bedroom.

They continued to stay in bed thought, dozing off from time to time until Dazai's phone ringed multiple times causing Dazai to sit up in annoyance, picking up the phone.

He was greeted with Kunikida yelling at him about where he was and why he still didn't arrive at work, startling Dazai a bit and causing Chuuya to press his face into a pillow so that he won't start to laugh. It was funny really. Dazai did convince him to call in sick but forgot to do so himself.

While Dazai sleepily rubbed his eyes, he explained to Kunikida that he was at home and that he couldn't come to work even if he wanted to because of all the snow and ice on the roads and sidewalks. Besides this he would have a headache anyways and preferred to rest at home given the circumstances.

Surprisingly Kunikida didn't asked any further and let Dazai stay at home without any more yelling.

Shortly after Dazai hung up and after he let himself fall back onto the bed, groaning about how a man could yell this much at 8 o' clock in the morning, he recrived a message from Ranpo, wishing him a nice day with Chuuya.

They lazed around the whole day, watching Christmas movies, making hot chocolate and cuddled a lot, both wishing that there would be more such days.

After going back to work the next day, they found out that they in fact weren't the only ones who called in sick.

Even Atsushi and Akutagawa who both lived really close to their workplaces in the apartments of each the Port Mafia and the ADA called in sick, surprising Chuuya and Dazai since they usually never called in sick unless they truly felt horrible. That couldn't have been the case though since they arrived at their works again the next day.

Ranpo later told Dazai that he did in fact saw a person with a black coat slipping through the open window of Atsushi's apartment, the evening before the snow day.

Turns out that the weretiger and Akutagawa had the same idea as Dazai and called in sick to spend the day together.

When Dazai told Chuuya about it after work, the redhead choked on his drink, calling Akutagawa immediately to ask him if he was really in a relationship with the weretiger, giving Akutagawa a little heart attack and causing Dazai to laugh wholeheartedly.

You just try your best to fit in with his eccentric personality, amazing mind, and dark past.

You met Dazai through work, as a secretary for the police, and Dazai had come in with a culprit who he and his partner Kunikida caught.

He bragged to you about how he did most of the work, only to receive a smack to the back of the head from his partner.

You laugh, thanking him for his hard work, and your smile struck through his entire being like lightning.

A smile so genuine, so keen, and your eyes that seem to cut him, look through him, unravel him.

He hasn't met anyone like you since Oda.

And from this meeting onward, he comes by the station often to flirt with you.

He'll ask you out over and over until you accept.

Once you accept, there's no going back. He breaks into your apartment often to make dinner, or meets you once you get off work to walk you home.

He'll always ask you to stay the night, not even for sex, but just to cuddle you.

He's oddly enough never invited you to a double...y'know

Mostly because he forms a protectiveness over you and the thought of you dying, especially due to his cohesion is terrifying.

He's often like a cat, and likes his hair played with as he lays his head in your lap.

you often provide him comfort and shelter from his own mind and dark thoughts, even if a temporary distraction it provides relief that he's absolutely grateful for.

Also touch starved, so he's very fond of PDA, he's possessive and just loves the feeling of you against him.

Dazai is a loving and selfish man who desires all of your attention and love, and will give you all he has in return.

You met Chuuya at a bar unsurprisingly

He sat at the barstool of a very bougie bar owned by the port mafia, drinking some expensive Lambrusco

then you sat next to him, calling over the bartender, and ordering a martini

eyes red and puffy, (if you wear makeup then mascara running)

Chuuya looks over at you, setting down his wine, then darts his eyes back straight, trying to avoid getting involved.

He's not exactly the best man when it comes to emotions, especially when it involves crying

If you apologize to him for looking like wreck he'll sigh, groan even, making you feel worse but then ask what happened

you tell him that you got stood up, and his face turns into even more of a annoyed and pissed off scowl

He'll admit, you were cute. So cute as in fact that it felt like a damn crime that you got stood up by a jackass!

Oh no he was drunker than he thought, and in his intoxicated state, he offers something, something that normal Chuuya Nakahara would never...

"Pah, fuck him. Why not have a drink with me? I'll be your damn date..." he slurs.

This makes you blush and giggle, accepting his offer.

And what a great decision it was, you both had a great time, and you bring him back to your apartment. Nothing ensues however, as you both collapse onto the couch, snoring away.

Chuuya is the type of partner to ask you to move in pretty quickly after realizing that things are more than a fling and are more seriously due to the danger of this job.

It just makes it easier to protect you.

He's touch starved and often comes home late, simply discarding his clothes down to his boxers and crawling into bed with you, wrapping your heavy limbs around him.

Often also feels inadequate due to his lack of proper humanity, both as Arahabaki and a clone.

How can you love him when he's like this and can't always give you his attention?

However when you smile at him as we gets off work early, and walks into your shared apartment with take out in hand, he knowns where he's supposed to be.

Honestly idk how ya’ll met, probably you were a client for the ADA and He for put on your case with another member.

Though rather than flirting with you on the spot like his superior, Atsushi keeps things very professional, despite how obviously attractive you are.

He subtly stares or makes goo goo eyes at you when you speak. Only to earn and Elbow by Junichiro who was but on the case with him.

When he notices what he was doing he’s SO EMBARRASSED and rushes off to the bathroom.

Once the case is solved you thank him and shake his hand and he nearly melts on the spot. You’re just so attractive and your hand is so warm…and-

“Ahem!! Let go of the nice person’s hand now Atsushi~” Dazai calls teasingly as he looks at you and you shoot him and awkward smile as he had been shaking your hand for nearly a minute now…

Oh he’s ready to crawl under a rock and DIE-

When you laugh good-naturally though he finds himself falling hard and fast.

The next thing he knows, you’ve given him your humber, and told him to call you so you two can set up a time to meet for coffee.

He blushes so hard as you leave and swallows thickly. He’s so nervous now, but that doesn’t stop him from calling you a week later.

He meets you for coffee and the two of you have a fantastic time. Would be better if Dazai, Ranpo, and Yosano weren’t in the booth behind him eves-dropping and making whispered comments, but what can ya do?

He’s the type to walk you home no matter if your bigger and stronger than him or not. Just a nervous and chivalrous lad. He knows you can probably handle yourself, but he likes to be extra cautious.

I think he’s old school in a lot of ways like this.

He’s so good to you though. Once you two are officially dating he’ll come to meet you at your work everyday to walk you home unless he absolutely can’t due to a mission, and if that happens he texts you asap with apologies and reminds you to have a nice night!!

If you complement in in anyway, especially physically he’ll melt but only half heartedly believe it.

Takes some serious work to get him to be less scared of himself or the concept of him ever hurting you though.

💀Akutagawa💀

So, you fell for Diablo himself.

Akutagawa is very much not an easy man to love and he knows that, so he's avoided romance and affection like the plague as we see with even Higuchi.

Thus when you join the port mafia as a new recruit and medic, he's shocked that he finds himself mesmerized by your form.

He immediately hates you. Despises you even.

Thus he avoids the Port Mafia doctors as best he can, feeling like if he gets to close to you, he'll kill you out of irritation, then get scolded for his lack of professionalism.

When he's finally forced to come in after a classic encounter with the weretiger and a large gash on his leg that causes him to limp, he's absolutely livid.

He had played off the injury very well, the limp not even being noticeable, to everyone but Higuchi, with her loud mouth.

He sits in front of you, as you take disinfectant to his leg, humming in concern as you do, and Akutagawa can't help but admire you.

You're to gentle in such a harsh profession.

You had just declared a man dead before treating him, and with your unshakable resolve, you treat him with steady hands, not a single tremble.

It confuses him how your bravery stems from desire to protect life rather than thriving in the stench of death like him.

It’s then that he begins to tolerate you and come to the Medic’s as needed. And believe me, he’s a regular with his medications for his coughing and all the injuries he gets from constant brawls.

When you treat his wounds or provide check-ups he begins to open up about his work…and h won’t admit it, but you doting on him makes him feel content.

You realize your feelings first, and when you tell him that you like him…he leaves. He straight up walks out on you.

He’s PANICKING. He realizes he feels the same and believes that makes him soft.

Starts avoiding you and the Clinic again and you think he hates you after telling him.

Soon he’s cornered by Chuuya for “moping and causing drama in the office”and the red-headed executive seems to smack some sense into him.

He finally comes to the clinic with a small thing of flowers. His only thought process being “People like flowers right? This is how someone with romantic interest would respond, yes?”

All in all his apology and subsequent confession is awkward as hell. You’re left dazed and confused by his somehow so blunt yet round about way of declaring his feelings.

imagine this dynamic: akutagawa x reader BUT... Reader is atsushi's twin sister.

This could literally only happen in one of two ways, knowing Akutagawa:

The following two points are absolutely part of the same storyline. Akutagawa would accidentally fall in love with Atsushi's twin and it would mirror the "Gin is Akutagawa's sister" reveal

1. He doesn't know they're siblings and neither one mentions it, the same way Akutagawa and Gin don't mention being siblings (everyone within their organization knows, only outsiders don't know; same theory applies to Atsushi and his sister within the ADA). When he does find out he has a Wan! style big-eyes shocked can't speak running-through-everything-in-his-mind-at-light-speed-oh-my-god-how-didnt-I-realize moment bc he's already dating her, she somehow agreed even knowing their organizations aren't compatible, and Atsushi is pissed like "THIS is the guy you were telling me about? NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!"

2. Akutagawa love-at-first-sight's the reader, and then happens to notice them near the ADA offices, and then happens to see them with Atsushi and gets jealous, and all the good that had slowly crept into shin sokoku's strenuous not-quite-enemies-anymore relationship dissipates. It's giving.... "Higuchi seeing Gin on her day off and thinking she's Akutagawa's gf." It's giving "How could I fall in love with the female version of my enemy." It's giving "I guess we'll have to be friends but I'll literally kill you if you hurt my sister"
