A couple of years ago a few guys complained that they couldn't send the racy captioned pics to their wives, so I made up a bunch of captions on a plain background, with no cheesecake images.

riddle rosehearts... the second year dorm leader of heartslabyul?

riddle doesn't read magazines or things like that, he's more particular to long, chaptered books. even though he doesn't really read them, that doesn't mean that some people in his dorm don't.

on the way to the courtyard, riddle sees a couple of magazines spread across the tables in the lounge. he's dislikes the mess and decides to put the magazines in their rightful places. upon skimming over and organizing the magazines, he sees you on the cover of a few dressed in hearts, red, white, black, and gold in a royal and sophisticated style: a combination that suits you perfectly.

he blushes a bit from the resemblance of your outfit to his dorm, but he is more stunned by how beautiful you look adorned in the clothes. you were naturally beautiful to riddle, but the pretty pictures did nothing but glorify his thoughts.

you informed him prior of the gig but riddle didn't have to time to accompany you to the set. he picks up the one he likes of you the most, and slips it away. surely the dorm members wouldn't notice a single magazine missing, right? and there are no rules about borrowing magazines.

instead of the courtyard, he walks to ramshackle instead to confront you about the magazine. well-- less of confront and more of congratulate.

"ah, [name], i noticed this magazine has you on the cover page. good job, dear, i am glad you were able to accomplish something so great for it only being your first time." riddle hugs you then gives gentle kiss, "it truly is a shame that headmaster's incompetence had to be the reason you did this, but i am so glad you did it. my favorite has to be the one of you here. the red and gold truly bring out your natural beauty."

cater diamond... a heartslabyul third year?

there was no way to avoid cater on a matter like this. when you had informed him that you'd be doing a modeling gig, he was ecstatic. he followed the modeling company on magicam so as soon as the new magazine was out he could get it.

it was almost like he was more excited than you. and when he got the notification on magicam that the magazine you'd be featured in was out, he rushed to sam's shop to get a copy. when skimming through the magazines, he sees one of you on the cover and he squeals so loudly that sam almost checks on him.

the cover is over you wearing clothes similar to his in color scheme with diamond shaped accents in accessories and in clothing. he couldn't wait, taking a picture of the magazine for magicam and tagging you, leaving sweet comments in the caption.

when you arrive at heartslabyul to see your dear boyfriend, he drags you to his room and gushes about how cute you were on the cover. with your rising fame, you two are sure to take over magicam as the best celebrity couple around!

"baby, you were so cute in that cover photo! you did so good! can we take a pic for magicam?" when you give him the yes, he holds you close to him and takes the picture, captioning: basically dating a celebrity now lol. "ugh, i'm so proud of you! i just can't wait for all the amazing things your gonna do in the future."

azul ashengrotto... the second year dorm leader of octavinelle?

azul's so very proud of you for having the confidence to do a modeling gig! when he first saw the cover, he blushes shades of red he didn't even know he was capable of blushing.

i mean-- how could he not fall in love all over again seeing you dressed in formal clothing colored in black and purple. there were some ocean-like accents too that made him swoon.

of course if all goes well, he can always have you promote the monstro dorm.

and of course, it goes well. so well in fact that you make the cover page of the magazine for this being only your first gig. and he is surprised. he didn't doubt you for a minute that you couldn't do well. you are the most beautiful being in the twisted wonderland and in every world to ever exist after all. he's more so surprised that you made the cover page on your first shot. most experienced models have hard times making it to the cover page.

still, he is very proud. most people around campus have kind of figured out who you are. when you become more and more famous, azul does a autograph signing at the monstro lounge and business booms more than ever.

he thanks you profoundly and praises you and your beauty. he constantly reminds you that he loves you for you and not your rising fame. one day, he pulls you into the vip room and sits you on his lap to face him. a bold move for the shy octopus.

in all honesty, vil was probably the one who got the gig for you. he has all the connection you'd ever need or will ever need. one magazine will probably have you and vil doing a a cute couples pose on the cover.

the other one is the one vil was truly shocked at, that made him feel like he wasn't the most beautiful of them all and like he was okay with it.

a regal clothing style composed of purple, black, and hints of red and gold. it was simple yet bold. the pose you were in held authority yet compassion. he saw the epitome of beauty on the cover of the magazine. and for one, he wasn't jealous of it.

After scrolling and watching many tiktoks, from pics to those packing lunch videos, you came across an edit of your boyfriend Theo. In any case, he’d never want to contribute to a bad atmosphere for the group, at least that’s what he told you, so he just waits for this crush to fizzle out.

“Y/n?” You must have gotten lost in your thoughts as his voice pulled you out.

“Yes?”

“What’s on your mind?” 

“Nothing,” this time he hummed. You went to stand up but he grabbed on to your hand and told you to stay for a bit, but you shoved him off to get changed into something more comfortable, and then came back to clear away the stuff laid on your bed. Dating game that surprised me... A lot!

Recently I started to play a mobile game called "Love & deep space" and I need to admit it - This game really surprised me.

When my ex-friend showed me this game, all I saw was: dating, pretty 3D, Korean looking men. I told her it's pretty and didn't think much of it because it wasn't out yet.

Few days ago while trying to get up from bed in the morning I suddenly remembered about this game and I decided to check if it's out. It was, so I downloaded it and started playing.

At the very beginning, the game was just a pretty looking game. I need to say that wasn't ready for the kinda limited but nice character creator (no possibility to change chair color & length - only available in photo booth option) and a voice modification option.

I just played through the story and my jaw honestly dropped when my game suddenly flipped to the side for a fighting section of the game

I was not ready, BUT I quite enjoyed it. Fighting reminds me about Genshin on mobile, dodge, tap, tap, tap, be careful of your health, etc.

Fighting parts aren't THAT hard, but at the same time you need to upgrade your cards and add things to them to make them stronger. Pretty basic stuff.

There are lots of fight related activities that give really nice rewards and drop materials needed to making your team stronger.

NOW THE BEST PART! - THE MEN!

Game has three love interests

Xavier - The sleepy boy

Zayne - The doctor

Rafayel - The artist

Each of them have his place in the story, and each is so much more than he looks like at the very beginning.

I honestly love Rafayel, maybe because he is an artist... he is also a little annoying, but it's also kinda sweet. I have the most memories with him and the highest lvl.

Furthermore, I love how going through the main story isn't the only way to interact with them. The game provides lots of options to spend time with them and learn new stuff about them.

You can go hunt for plushies in a claw machine or play a game that is like tic-tac-toe but with cats and cards, or you can take a photo with them. One of my many favourite things, I mean LOOK:

I love it because in this mode you can actually REALLY change your MC's look, which is wonderful! You can change your hair length, color, change make up, outfit and add accessories. Also, you pick poses and background. You also can do pics of your MC, just him or couple pics or mix of everything!

Of course, the main story isn't the only thing, there are also plenty of 'side mini stories' that are unlocked by getting specific memories.

THE LAST THING, I TRULY FALL IN LOVE WITH!

I am a sucker for ASMRs, especially the ones with my favorite characters. I can spend HOURS listening to those.

This game has something similar! You unlock specific audios by obtaining the right memories.

There are two versions - the first version is more of a story thing so you can listen, but it has "subtitles" that describe what MC says and what is happening. You don't have to, but yeah, it's a bit hard to imagine what's exactly happening sometimes.

But the other version... ooooh the other version. It's made to be JUST listen to! No subtitles or anything, just... listen and enjoy what you hear

In summary:

I really fall in love with this game. It's so much more than I expected it to be. It offers a lot of rewards and makes it easy to obtain decent cards without throwing your real money away. Sure, it's gacha game, but it's not as annoying as it could be. Sure, you still can spend money for it if you want extra features, but if you look for a game that isn't just about spending your money, it's a good pick.

Animations look nice, cards are pretty, voice acting is good, story is ok I'd say.

As for me, it's a good game! I am recommending it! A lot!

I MADE SHINGYOKU FUMO

The Positive ᗜˬᗜ and Negative ᗜ˰ᗜ

This is my Shingyoku. Theres probably only one of this, so its all mine.

I wanted to have fumo of my absolute favorite touhou character (please dont judge my tastes). It took me 2 monthes to make them. This is all made from scratch, hand sewn and embroidered (no fumo were harmed in the making), all the attempts/testings is the biggest reason why it took that long. Also because as someone with a sewing degree who made plushies before, I kind of have high standards + theyre my fav 2hu so I wanted it to be my best effort. The designs for their fumos there is based on my actual take on their designs.

I plan on making custom fumos of the whole touhou 1 hrtp cast (already working on konngara rn) and then a couple of touhou 2&3 people. I want a nice pc98 fumo family since its my fav era :) until I get my hands of the newly announced official pc98 reimu and marisa fumos.

I'm trying to get the last of my Binderary projects posted, so today we have books #8 and 9, Fault Lines by Marabelle123. This is a long canon compliant Good Omens fic (pre-second season) that I've had on my to-bind list since I started making books three years ago. It's unfinished and had its most recent update in early 2020, but based on how the existing story feels I'm fairly sure it was close to the end and feels complete enough to be satisfying. It's very in character and captures a lot of the specific feeling from the pre-miniseries fandom, that the relationship between the leads defies all definition. They're as close as it's possible to be and their relationship has teeth sometimes but their bond is as undefinable as it is unbreakable. Give it a read if that sounds like your thing; it's excellent.

The cover for this one is made of two colors of faux leather, cut at a diagonal with no overlap, with the title in silver foil htv. I've never done a cover like this before but I'm in love with the result. It feels very sleek and sexy and modern compared to the more vintage elements I usually favor. And I didn't have enough of either leather to do two full books, but I still wanted to use them and have the volumes match. I think it was an elegant solution.

You may have noticed above that this is a Coptic bind, my favorite for unfinished fics because of the "out" option it leaves. If the author ever returns to it and posts more chapters it would be fairly easy to take out the stitching and add more signatures. I still stand by this motivation, but after a silence of four years and no response from the author when I reached out for permission to bind it I'm reasonably sure this is it for the story. That let me try out some stuff I'd be reluctant to do if I was planning to add pages. Have a look at the spines:

Sadly I couldn't make the page count work with a single volume, since you can't do much to mitigate spine swell in a Coptic bind, but the volume split let me do some long stitches in the center that look like wings. There are plot-relevant feathers in the fic, so it's fitting. I thought of sewing one of them in white for that sweet Good Omens balance feeling, but I didn't think it would pop against the white paper and would leave the set looking unbalanced so I stuck with black on both. To get the pattern right I cut out a wing shape the same width as the spine and traced it and poked holes for the outline, then flipped it for the second volume so they'd be mirrored. You can also see that I did something different at the head and tail, more visible here:

This is a Coptic endband. I found out these existed a couple of months ago and absolutely had to try them. They're woven into the signatures and cover with a separate thread, after the rest of the stitching is done, and they're supposed to add some stability to the wiggly spine that you always get with these books. Unlike other types of endband, they don't have a core. I had a lot of trouble with them and had to pull out the first one and redo it with a different thread (embroidery floss is better than crochet thread for this) but I have no regrets about the finished product. They do stabilize the spine some, though not as much as I'd have liked. I really like how they (and the longstitch section) dress up a Coptic spine. I've always thought the plain ones were a little lackluster for how much work they are, but I love all the texture and interest this one has. Would absolutely not do black on black again though. Very hard to keep track of which thread I was supposed to sew under against a black background. I'll be using a contrasting color next time.

Interior photos. The doublure on the inside of the cover is a striped lokta (I think; it's been a while since I bought it). The title page image is a free-to-use image that I found on I think Vecteezy. Unsurprisingly, given its title, a big theme in this one is underlying cracks and misalignments that the characters don't realize are there until there's a massive disturbance, and that's why I had the text on both the title page and the cover not line up. Things are slipping, things are cracking, and there's extra work to be done on both sides if you're going to stabilize or rebuild. Comparatively, the typeset is quite plain and simple, with only two fonts, no chapter header image, and no section break images unless the break falls on the last line of a page, in which case there's one gray line. I think it's well-suited to the story; there is a bit with an illuminated manuscript, but mostly the characters are busy introspecting in between managing crises. They don't have the time or the energy to dress things up prettily.

And that's it on Fault Lines! As I mentioned earlier, I reached out to the author on Ao3 for permission to bind but never received a response, so I really hope they don't mind that I made these. I love their fic, and I love the bind I made.

Here it is, the true (super belated) Valentine’s Day picture. Yet another cringe crossover absolutely nobody asked for yet I deliver because I can. Apologies if I’ve been posting way too much South Park stuff, it’s yet another franchise that I’m currently unhealthily hyper-fixated on. Enjoy some more Randy and Sharon appreciation art from me, because these two dorks are just everything to me <3

This was also made as a small tribute to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball after I found out that he passed away earlier this month on March 1st. Even though I’m a casual fan of the series, still makes me sad that he’s no longer and that we lost another anime/manga legend.

This whole art became a thing based on a phone call between me and one of my older brothers. We were just talking about random dumb stuff and he jokingly asked me to draw Cartman as Naruto and Kyle as Saskue (which is an art project that y’all know damn well I’ll be drawing in the future so look out for that lmao). I just started laughing to myself, but then I thought to myself, “What other anime could I cross over with South Park?” then Dragon Ball popped up in my head all of a sudden, and that’s how this cringefest came to be.

I can kinda see some connections with it, tbh. Both Goku and Randy are dumbass but funny as hell dads (they also have black hair), and both Chichi and Sharon are no-nonsense moms who are often exasperated by their hubbies’ idiotic actions, but do love them deep down and have shared some wholesome cute moments together with them. Both series also feature a lot of fighting and deaths too lol

And since it is the year of the dragon, this pic is pretty fitting :>

I thought I would take forever with this picture because a. I’m total garbage at drawing realistic-ish, non-animal guy characters, and b. I don’t draw side-view faces that much, but surprisingly it wasn’t too hard. I did get kinda lazy with the lower half of Randy’s body and didn’t draw it, but besides that, the whole art was pretty easy. Minus drawing the hands. Because Jesus tap dancing Christ, the hands took me lightyears to get right 🙃

All in all, this might be one of my favorite 2024 pieces of art I’ve drawn so far. Again, these two are special to me, and I finally got the chance to cross over some of my favorite things, cartoons and anime. Maybe I might draw Stan and Wendy as Gohan and Videl in the future as a little follow-up ^^

Also, the mental image of Randy going Super Saiyan is just the funniest shit to me, istg someone needs to make fanart, an animation, or some other sort of meme of that 💀

I made it back from my little comic con getaway! I’m semi-alive.

I come bearing pics (though not as many as I would’ve liked). So, I’ll put them under the cut for those of you who want to see them. Anyone else, feel free to keep scrolling. This is just me rambling. And showing off my cosplay and Daredevil merch I bought. With a lot of text. Sorry.

I didn’t have the time to take a pic of my Day One Matt Cosplay, but I do have pics from the test run I did a couple of days back.

(I didn’t have the time to put on the fake blood on Saturday, but that was kind of how I wanted it to look when I first tried it on, minus the added blood on the nose, that was just a stupid attempt at making it look more… gore-y? I think. I don’t know. My brain is tired and I’m just typing this on my phone and I don’t have the brain cells to form a coherent thought.)

Anyway, the first two is a (kind of) look at how I looked at the con on Saturday. It was a very slutty version of lawyer!Matt and the Season 1 promo poster. I tried. Also, I have no idea how to take proper pictures of myself. I apologize 😭

NOW moving on to my look on Day Two (today). That was a lot easier because I already had the sweater, and there was no way I wouldn’t pull up in the iconic “I’m Not Daredevil” Comic!Matt look. It was the obvious choice.

I really enjoyed dressing up, and I think I might invest even more time and money for next year and go all out. As much as I can, anyway.

It was fun, but it was definitely different than last year. A lot less crowded, too. I still think it was amazing and I’ve loved seeing everyone dress up as their favorite characters and just feel welcome because everyone was there for the same reason. That’s why I love these conventions so much. It really is a judgement free zone.

And there is always a lot of shopping, which I did. I secured a lot of goods, and of course, I am going to share them with you now.

man i’m trying really hard to be happy about opm but the way they did tatsumaki a few chapters ago left a sour taste in my mouth that i can’t seem to get rid of. i cannot believe what they did to her design i STILL feel betrayed it’s ridiculous

i’ve already bitched about this on twitter a while back but i’ve been feeling upset about it the past couple days so i’m gonna complain again.

she looks more like a kid now and yet is simultaneously more sexualized at the same time. it is STRANGE i don’t like it

i think when i read these chapters i suffered the whole time but was in denial about it like “ITS NOT THAT BAD…” until i saw pic #2 and finally said “it is… it really is that bad.”

i’m not even someone who’s super annoyed by fanservice (i mean obviously i’m an opm fan). and i can usually ignore it easily…

as long as it doesn’t fall into 3 categories

1. involves sexual assault/it’s disrespectful

2. the fanservice is just the boring male protag getting boobs shoved in his face

3. sacrifices having a good design for the sake of being “sexy”

the crimes against #3 are straight up egregious.

tatsumaki used to have an extremely solid design. her dress had a lot of emphasis on the iconic tendrils and it complimented her well. her hair was very curly which matched the tornado theme and was an overall joy to look at. her eyes were sharp and cold which also felt iconic for her character and it reflected the harshness of her personality. her freaky eyes were always one of my favorite parts of her design.

In the new design, her dress has been shrunk to try to reveal as much as possible. it doesn’t match the flow of the legs like the old way used to and just feels awkward. the tendrils are translucent too which again. messes with the dress. her hair isn’t as curly anymore it lacks the DRAMA the old hair has. the eyes are too soft now, and it doesn’t feel intentional. i can already hear someone going “oh well the eyes are like that to show she’s enjoying herself.” except the eyes haven’t been changed slightly, they’re changed completely. they look exactly like the eyes of any other character.

I’m giving proportions a whole section to itself lol. they’ve widened her hips, somehow shrunk her already small torso even MORE, and gave her a bobble head, and more emphasis on boobs. looking at her, especially in pic 2, it feels like you just gave a hentai artist a pen and told them to draw tatsu. there’s zero regard for her original design and proportions it’s just skimpy clothes slapped onto an unrecognizable face and body. i mentioned this earlier but they babyifyed her face and made her act more “childish” than she already kind of did while sexualizing her more it’s extremely uncomfortable.

#1… the disrespect…

sexual assault isn’t really in opm for fanservice… yet… (i do not trust murata to not draw some non consensual boob groping at this point) but the disrespect, the objectification and complete lack of regard for the characters is palpable

i don’t read one punch man for the fan service and i never have. the reason why i’ve gotten this far without getting pissed off is that i felt like the fanservice, while excessive, wasn’t totally disrespectful. it felt like the characters were like that, not 100% for the audience, but because they were comfortable with it too. i don’t know how to describe it but nothing about tatsu’s design now says “i dressed myself like this, i feel good, i’m going outside now”

she feels less like a character and more like an object to be placed in situations she wouldn’t be comfortable with and react in ways she wouldn’t typically react, stripping her of her personality to be more “ideal” exclusively with the audience in mind and robbing her of what made her unique in the process.

#2 ehhhh not as applicable

(#2 mentioned because i already wrote about 1 and 3 so leaving it out is awkward.)

saitama truly does not give a fuck lol. he doesn’t even feel like a middleman for the audience he’s just there. the fanservice feels more viewer based than self insert/projection based. that’s the only box opm isn’t currently ticking. saitama hasn’t had his personality revoked for the sake of the audience (YET. again i trust no one anymore)

final thoughts

every time i see the recent chapters and the art style just i think about her and just feel this sadness and sense of betrayal. i don’t think i would’ve had a problem with the psychic sisters arc if the tone and execution were more like the webcomic (rare words from me lol. i love the webcomic but celebrate the manga for its differences) and if tatsumaki was still drawn like an adult. I MISS HERRRR

i even get a little upset seeing fubuki now too. i don’t know if i would’ve if it weren’t for how tatsumaki has been demolished but i look at her and see how she’s posed and how her dress has somehow gotten tighter and feel sad none the less.

anyways i could continue but i actually need to move on with my day and i don’t feel like drafting this to expand on later since it’s just a rant lol. sorry for any grammar or spelling errors i wrote this at 7am after staying up the night before working on a quiz with heavy writing that i didn’t realize would take SIX HOURS. thanks for reading. hope i’m not alone here.

3rd Snowid and Tomira

You've never heard of these characters? I would be more surprised if you did because they are from the book I'm writing - urban fantasy where Slavic myths meet steampunk. I want to talk about them for a bit so bear with me. Snowid (btw. his name means "the one who sees dreams" and I think it's so cool) is to put it simply a monster hunter and was cursed as a child with having visions of the future. Tomira is a child of a shapeshifting monster (most of the time she/her but can shapeshift and has a fluid relationship with gender). As many Slavic monsters do Tomira's mother had kidnapped a baby girl from a young couple and replaced it with them. Couple years later Tomira became a spy for one of the biggest crime organizations in the city and has been tasked with infiltrating the monster hunter corps. I think you know where this is going. My tragic, doomed by the narrative (aka by me) babies.

Alright, after running this blog for over a year I've decided to make an actual pinned post—complete with a guide to my tagging system.

First off, who am I?

I am the sole moderator of dinosquad-central, obviously. You may call me Dino Mod, and I use any pronouns, including neopronouns that do not begin with x or z.

My Favorite characters are Caruso and Buzz. I don't actually know that much about dinosaurs in general; I just think they're neat. I'm the event coordinator on the Dino Squad discord server. And I love getting asks! (Although sometimes it takes me a day or two to answer them)

I tag posts with #dino mod to indicate that they are either original posts from me, or things I've reblogged wherein I added something to the body of the post, rather than just the tags. So if you want to browse my thoughts on the show, that's the tag to do it.

Now that you know who I am, what's Dino Squad and where can you watch it?

Dino Squad is a 2007 cartoon about five teenagers who can turn into dinosaurs, and you can watch it for free on YouTube. The first episode is called "The Beginning", but the series is episodic, so the order you watch doesn't really matter after that. If you want to watch in in order, there's an episode list on IMDB.

Is there anything else you should know?

Yeah, a couple of things, actually. But this is already getting long, so I'll continue under the readmore.

Firstly, I need to give credit where credit is due, and make sure y'all know that the person who made the banner I use for this blog, which is also the quintessential "there's like five of us" dinosquad fandom meme, is @scoutbot. Everyone say "thank you, scoutbot!"

My profile pic, on the other hand, is lifted from official Dino Squad promotional material, but if anyone wants to draw me a new one, I'd be willing to trade you a fic for it—DM me if interested.

Secondly, there's one type of tag I don’t list in the tag guide, and that's the type I use to fawn all over everybody's Dino Squad posts. In such a small fandom, every time someone makes something new for it, they do so knowing it won't get much engagement, so I want to make sure they get at least one person who with enthusiastically give a kind, thoughtful, personalized comment on their post. Creating for a small fandom can feel thankless, but I want to mitigate that as much as possible by saying thank you thank you thank you for hanging out with us and participating in our fandom.

I'll mention it a few times in this post, but as long as you tag a post with #dino squad (as one word or two) I am basically guaranteed to see it, and I'll reblog almost anything in this fandom. So if you want more of the stuff you like, I strongly encourage you to create it! I love to see new takes and new faces in this fandom, and I will always lift you up.

Lets start with Basic Tags.

Every post about the show (which is 99% of what I post, since this is a Dino Squad blog) is tagged with both #dino squad (two words) and #dinosquad (one word).

In most other tags that feature the name of the show, I use the one word version, for consistency. More on that later.

Posts that are not about the show, usually either dinosaur/paleontology related posts, or occasionally technical information about this blog itself, are tagged with #not dinosquad. For cool dino fun facts and art, this is the tag to explore.

Every post on this blog contains at least one of these tags.

Next, how about some Character Tags.

Whenever a character is mentioned or very strongly implied in a post, I tag it with their full name, similar to AO3's character tags. You can follow any of these links to read every post featuring that character.

I don't really have warning tags for things that were in the show, like I'm not gonna have a warning tag for sharp teeth or carnivorous eating habits, because... well... it's a show about dinosaurs. If you had a problem with that kind of thing, you probably wouldn't be here. I also won't use the CW tags for passing mentions—my thinking is that if something's not really in the post I don't really need to tag for it.

⬜-Favorite part about drawing (and least favorite)? I actually really enjoy inking! I know a lot of people hate it, but for me it’s like… the place where my messy, incoherent sketches turn into a picture. I hate trying to make vehicles and buildings make sense, though; there’s a couple of those coming up in the next few pages of my comic and good lord. Augh. Guh.

I also play a lot of TTRPGs, usually though not always DMed by my wonderful girlfriend @poisonforpigeons, and often draw up the characters I’ve made for those:

And I don’t usually make OCs for established settings, but these guys are the exception— mine and my gf’s Nimona movie OCs, Cassandrius Sangster (knight) and Kandor Highfield (squire). There’s no fic or anything they just exist in us talking about them. I love them so much.

(In the movie’s universe ‘squire’ seems like a separate career track, as opposed to real knights where it’s something you are on the way to being knighted? So Kandor is Cass’s squire but isn’t trying to move out of that position.)
