At first he probably teases you and says you look like a curtain or a ghost or something T-T

But he's not a complete jerk. He does think you look like an angel and he tells you as much eventually (I feel like he would lowkey be into old-fashioned romantic stuff sometimes especially if it involves you wearing a pretty nightgown <3)

Constantly quizzing you on how you're able to comfortably wear something like this to sleep because to him it looks kind of uncomfortable? When you try to tell him that it's fine and you think it looks pretty he drops the subject but lowkey still worries about it

Plays with your sleeves or the skirt of the nightgown while he's lying next to you

From then on if you guys ever watch old fashioned movies ft. women who wear similar nightgowns, he always points it out. He's like 'That's like the one you have! You look better in it though'

He's a charmer for sure this guy

Though he does think you look lovely, he is still a bit of a pervert. It's rather possible Dazai might try to feel you up through the nightgown. Damnit Dazai

Ranpo:

Ranpo is honestly probably a little confused at first. Like this is the 21st century, why are you wearing this?

THAT BEING SAID he is actually rather happy to sleep with you while you're wearing an old-fashioned nightgown. It's like being wrapped in your own little silky blanket!

He fiddles with it when he's bored and rubs his face against it just because he's kinda weird like that (lovingly)

Probably asks Yosano/Fukuzawa about it because let's be real, as smart as Ranpo is he doesn't understand why you would wanna cover yourself in so much fabric when you go to sleep (autistic things 2.0 <3)

Otherwise he does think you look very elegant. He also thinks it's cute that you care so much about always looking nice even if you're just hanging out in bed with him

But at the same time he's like 'Well how are you supposed to eat snacks in bed if you're wearing something that isn't supposed to get dirty??/??????????'

Actually does make an effort to not get any crumbs on you though because he knows that you care about your nightgowns <3

Fyodor:

He already thinks of you as an angel- so why not look like one too?

Fyodor is relatively old fashioned (at least in my head), so he's happy with what you've chosen to wear. It's mature and modest, but it's also so ~pretty~ that he can't keep his hands off you

Somewhere in his fucked up little brain spouts a twinge of possessiveness because you're just so enchanting and you look so innocent! Why should anyone else get to see you in your undergarments (even though it's basically a dress)? They shouldn't, end of story

Fyodor sometimes likes to fondly watch you while you're sleeping, so the nightgown really adds cuteness points for him

Mykola is so dramatic about it. He's like 'MY EYES HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY AN ETHEREAL BEAUTY FROM THE HEAVENS' or something else dumb like that

But the thing is, he actually means that. He's just very theatre kid-esque in his delivery which makes it seem like a mockery lol

He just thinks you look so cute! He spins you in his arms and pinches your cheeks

Asks you to give him a couple twirls in the same way that your mother does when you're trying on a new outfit

I believe that 'yangoliatka' is a term of endearment in Ukrainian that means 'angel'? If so then he would ABSOLUTELY call you that (I'm so sorry if that's wrong- I don't speak Ukrainian T-T)

Picks you up bridal style 'to practice' because you kinda do look vaguely like a bride. When you get shy he just laughs (menace behaviour)

You know those noir films with those really drawn out but trying-to-be-romantic sex scenes (where the girl inevitably wears one of those fancy nightgowns?) Yeah he'd try to recreate one of those because he thinks it's funny

He's just an old-school romantic boy and thought you would look beautiful in a nightgown! (spoiler: he was right)

does GL have tea parties with Elise and the other children-? Is Mori forced to join the tea parties-? When Mori cant make it who is substituted in for him or do they just leave his spot open?

They do.

Elise, Kyuusaku, Aya, Katsumi, Shinji, Sakura, Yu and Kousuke are having tea parties from time to time. And they often offer GL and other BSD Characters to join them. So, if any of the adults want to join them, they always have an open spot.

Some interesting bits about some characters:

Who joins often:

1. Guiding Light - will tell kids stories from the real world.

2. Oda Sakunosuke - he can be so serious, it looks funny.

3. Ivan Goncharov - he will take tea preparations upon himself.

4. Mori Ougai - will let kids braid his hair or make pigtails.

5. Ranpo Edogawa - need constant supervision, so he won't eat all snacks.

6. Kouyou Ozaki - she is surprisingly good with kids.

7. Akiko Yosano - will insist on more healthier snacks, but, won't spoil the fun.

8. Bram Stoker - will join, only if Aya present. Actually, quite good caretaker.

9. Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald - he was a father, so, he knows, how to host a tea party for children.

10. Kenji Miyazawa - just likes to play with kids.

11. Kyouka Izumi - she is on a quiet side, but, will gladly join the tea party.

12. Karma - keep an eye on kids during tea parties.

13. Fyodor Dostoevsky - will join only if you present and if he wants tea. A little bit passive, but, will let kids hide under his coat.

14. Nikolai Gogol - will make a little circus show for kids.

15. Fukuzawa Yukichi and Fukuchi Ouchi - will be bombarded with questions about their past.

16. Dazai Osamu - perfect, if tea party have a role play element. Will be overdramatic, but kids adore him.

17. Atsushi Nakajima - likes to play with kids.

18. Tanizaki siblings - Junchirou will make snacks and use his ability to live things up. Naomi is good at having a small talk.

19. Kirako Haruno, Louisa May Alkott and Edgar Allan Poe - a little bit awkward around kids, but, not against joining the game.

20. Sigma - it was a surprise, but kids always listen to him. Mostly joins for cookies.

21. Flags - good with dealing with kids, especially teens.

22. Ryunosuke Akutagawa - sometimes, can be a good babysitter. Will make a hammock from Rashomon for kids' entertainment.

23. Gin Akutagawa - better, then her brother. Will bring good tea.

24. Chuuya Nakahara - will join, only if GL are here. Will make table and chairs float. Not that interested in game itself, but won't spoil the fun.

Who won't join as often as they can:

1. Doppo Kunikida and Nathaniel Hawthorne - will join only if they are looking after kids today and there's no other adults. Still, they are good at playing along.

2. Katai Tayama - he is not good with kids. But, he will find cartoons or films for kids to watch.

3. Paul Verlaine and Arthur Rimbaud - join even lesser, then Kunikida and Hawthorne. Don't think, that they are good with kids.

4. André Gide - doesn't think, that he deserves to join kids' game.

Who are forbidden to join:

1. Tetchou Suehiro - problem is in his eating habits. He did it a couple of times on a tea party and kids decided to copy him. Only Elise didn't get a stomach ache. Since then, Tetchou isn't allowed to join tea parties without supervision.

2. Alexander Pushkin - he is bad in controlling his tongue and will talk about something inappropriate. And we aren't talking about swearing. Pushkin might start talking about neighbors, and who were with whom. And kids are like sponges. When Sakura, after a tea party with Pushkin, start asking Oda and you, if your neighbor really doesn't know, who is the father of her children, and what clients she brings home, you two almost strangle Pushkin. He isn't allowed to interact with kids without supervision.

Who aren't allowed to join at the same time:

Karma, Fyodor and Guiding Light

Because, when Shinji invite you three, that happened:

Everyone: drinking tea

Shinji: talking to you I am so glad, that you three start spending time as family. Finally, you and Fyodor stop neglecting your son Karma.

You, Karma and Fyodor almost chocked on your teas. It takes five minutes for your three to start breathing normally.

Karma is scared and try to hide behind his tea cup.

Fyodor never looked that shocked before. He is looking at Shinji, but can't form a single word.

You were just trying to say something.

You: "Wh... Who? Us... Our? Whom?... Wh... What..? Karma? Ours..?"

Shinji: didn't realize, that situation became this Yes! You wanted to save Karma, and Fyodor did it. You two saved him. Like Oda saved us. So, he is yours now.

Tea party come to an end. Karma couldn't look at you or Fyodor for a week.

Osamu and Nikolai, who, somehow, learn about this situation, were teasing you and Fyodor about, who will be 'stay at home parent' and who will be a 'breadwinner' for the two weeks.

Whos the best daddy: oda, jingyuan or childe?

The first man we have is the 11th Harbinger, Tartaglia! Or Childe! Or Ajax! Or however the fuck you want to call him, he has too many names!! (One is enough my good Sir.)

Renowned as a family man, Mr Tartaglia writes letters to his whole family and loves all of his siblings very much, so much so that he is willing to lie in order to keep their dreams intact. While some people might argue what he is doing is wrong (and in a way they're right) but his intentions are always pure and just wants his family to have a good life.

What a gem of a man!

We are also aware that this man is LOADED, so his family or friends do not need to worry about any expenses whatsoever, regardless of how much they cost, Mr Tartaglia has you COVERED!

However.

As unfortunate as it may be, Mr Tartaglia simply lacks the certain finesse that your classic Daddy™ requires to have. His boyish charms are out of this world but they are indeed just that - boyish!

Besides, I personally believe that he'd be more of a "Sir" type of guy. "Sir" and "Daddy" are indeed powerful authority figures but there is a slight difference there.

The final ranking for Mr Tartaglia is 6/10. He is handsome and strong, but he's too much of a kind elder brother figure, or a "Sir" to ever truly quality as a Daddy. At least, that's what I think.

This is general Jing Yuan, a man renowned for his lazy and carefree attitude but behind that smile is an incredible tactician who can strike like a lion at any given moment. Despite his attitude, be very, very afraid of him.

Isn't that just so sexy of him?

Tall, husky and sweet, Jing Yuan fits the mold of "Daddy" quite nicely. And to top it off, he has a young child under his care! Their interactions are heartwarming and precious, I can't stop staring at the screen whenever the two are on it and I know for a fact that I'm not alone there <333

His out of this world voice (I'm talking about the English dub) makes me melt - if he tells me to do something, I will do it.

Where, oh where do I begin with this man? He has the blood of many people on his hands and yet, he managed to worm his way into the heart of the Port Mafia's youngest but most dangerous executive that has ever lived, which is nothing to scoff at I assure you.

While his status as a mafioso gives an air of uncertainty about his whereabouts and well being, it is safe to say that he, like Jing Yuan, is quite the Daddy™. Kind, caring but also incredibly humorous, he is the ideal package. Walks and coffee shop dates would be beyond interesting with this man and besides, I'm sure that his long and slender fingers will be good for other things besides writing! ;)

This man also takes care of an entire gaggle of orphans! Isn't he just amazing?!

Unfortunately, there is one glaring issue though -

Judge spoke of the former people of Germa left as wondering ghosts unable to set foot on their homeland and disgracing their memory so we can infer they're probably vengeful. The Itsumade in some myths are created from vengeful spirits, not just attracted by them. When mentioning prefectures, Oda said Sanji would be Kyoto where the myth of the Itsumade originates. Then there's also this of course:

sanjis backstory is based off man in the iron mask ( and the sun king was born in st germain the name of germa's flagship

And the Germa cover story is the only one to actually be integrated with the arc it's in, implying there's something special about it Oda's definitely cooking *something* with Sanji right now What that is is anyone's guess, though

THAT robot allegedly was built 900 years ago and re-activated 200 years ago. During the time of the levely where Ryugu Kingdom was invited for the first (and last) time.

Additionally, 200~ years ago, bull fighting fish were sighted by Green Bit, making it near impossible for Dressrosa and Green Bit to access each other and more or less isolating the dwarves from the other country.

AND ALSO - the St. Briss from the Briss Kingdom (from the SOUTH BLUE) began its voyage and ended up in Skypeia (was that intended destination? IDK) but they were sentenced to cloud drifting (aka lost without a trace to the rest of the world) and eventually fell back to the ocean during the Jaya Arc ~2 years ago where at least ONE skeleton was found in the debris. Jaya was shot up by the Knock Up stream some ~400 years ago and at some point then, Calgara died fighting to protect his land and people so that Noland would one day return. Obviously this never happened.

Also FWIW, on the OP world map, Skypeia is over the calm belt but close proximity to the South Blue.

ANYWAYS - all that said. I could potentially see a situation in which survivors from St. Briss were smuggled away from their death sentence by the remaining Shandian’s that lived hidden in the forests trying to survive. I am not sure how or when they would have been able to get back down to the South Blue for Kid to be born in the South Blue 23 years ago, but that’s Oda’s problem to deal with.

Anyways, I KNOW that Calgara and Wyper both have X blood type while Kid has F, but like that could have come from years of descendants, or one of Kid’s parents so let’s be open minded. Calgara also has his demon smile face that looks very similar to Kid’s when he was facing big mom. Also they had pretty similar personalities: super serious sexy dudes, mistrusting of outsiders, bloodthirsty af in battle, once they are “friendly” with others cares for them deeply going as far as crying over their friends (see Noland and Killer) very fast, considered demons/monsters.

Okay, I'm not doing a long one like last week, but heaps to take in, and I adore the idea of all of the notorious, prestigious and sought after stowaways on the ships leaving the Marie Geoise shores.

The ones from the new world must do so with World Government (Marine) assistances, right?

And Tajine Kingdom (Bonney stowed away on their ship) and St. Aegis kingdom (Walpol and Vivi stowed away on theirs) were World Government member nations, and both rebelled. I wonder why.

My main reason for being here, though is:

Look at our bow-legged bird, even in seraphim form. Crocodile's beauty is as glassy-eyed (sad-eyed, dead-eyed?) as Boa Hancock's and Mihawk's, and Moria's looking pretty good too.

So, the seraphim are being employed to basically destroy their makers (the original Hancock, Mihawk, etc.—not that we've seen a Mihawk/S-Mihawk fight yet). There has to be a Trafalgar Law one. Oda wouldn't pass up the opportunity, I think. Although, if it will convolute the story, that one might be left to us fan-fiction writers.

Lots of other stuff. Massive catch up, lore drops. The destruction of Lulusia seems to parallel Marshall Island Atoll nuclear tests or Maralinga in the centre of Australia, or so many others, and more linearly (time-wise) the U.S. government's nuclear testing in New Mexico before the ultimate bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Robin has apparently told the revs:

that the ancient weapons exist (as Ivankov lets us know above).

And more parallels here with the Einstein / Vegapunk thing, and what their research can be harnessed for, or what they might directly contribute to without and possibly with knowing the consequences.

Iva suspects that Imu is

Imu of House Nerona (one of the original founders of the Celestial Dragons / Word Government / Mary Geoise), so, from the void century and granted eternal youth through the ope ope no mi, although the fruit is not mentioned by name. Whether the revs' don't know it's granted from a fruit, or whether they're playing coy, is not apparent. It seems the former.

As a founder, they (Imu) could possibly have knowledge of the ancient weapons.

So, as an aside, considering the original granter of the eternal fruit would have died as per their fruit's power (Lili?) then there must be more people around with eternal youth too, right?, because others would have consumed the fruit, and 800 years is a long time.

Anyway, briefly onto Lili; if she had the ope ope no mi, she could've shambled the poneglyphs the world over as a very awakened form of the fruit, and maybe granting Imu eternal youth is what caused her death. I don't think that's my idea. I probably read it somewhere, but I can't recall where.

that Saint Donquixote Mosgard will be executed due to protecting Shirahoshi 👆 , thereby running parallels with Homing, except that Mosgard was effective with his compassion, but will also pay with his life, as did Donquixote Rosinante (and his father). And

The person tasked with the execution is the former king of God Valley, and I know there's a lot of Rocks D. Xebec info about God Valley that's basically all over my head at present (will read up on it later, or read someone else's meta).

But as importantly, or maybe more importantly, is this guy's name: Saint Figarland Garling. Shanks, was stated by the Gorosei in Film Red (although I missed this section, or forgot it) as coming from the Figarland family (he was discovered in a box that the Roger Pirates stole during the God Valley Incident).

Ahahahah. I love all the influences though: Good Donquixotes, and then Donquixote Doflamingo. Entitled Figarlands, and then good Shanks, or maybe not... (I believe he's good, but Oda always turns the tables on me, and everything's grey, even when characters have positive aspects).

Romantic Odango ahead !!

‼️‼️THIS IS A TICKLE FIC. IF YOURE NOT INTO THAT THEN SCROLL‼️‼️

"Mmm.." Ango hummed quietly. His eyes drifted to the clock next to him lazily. 4:57am is what it read. His fingers slipped under his round glasses to try to rub the sleepiness from his eyes. 

This would be his second all nighter in a row. The things being a mafioso does to you, he thought, his eyes beginning to drift closed unknowingly. He only became aware of this as he felt a hand lovingly push his hair back from his forehead, followed by a kiss, which he recognized by the distinct feeling of stubble that accompanied it. 

"Odasaku, what are you doing here so late?"

"Late?" The redhead in front of Ango raised an eyebrow, his lips in their usual neutral place. "I just got here. Have you been here all night?"

"Mmm.." Ango gazed down at the papers in front of him. Oda could tell by his tired eyes that the man had been overworking again. He felt pity for him. 

"You really shouldn't do that to yourself." Oda moved a little closer, slipping his hands around Ango's waist. His lips pressed gently against Ango's neck. It made the brunettes breath hitch. "Exhausting yourself like this is really bad for you." 

Ango squirmed softly under the tender touch of the other man, his lips starting to turn up a little. Don't let his numb expression fool you, Sakunosuke Oda knew exactly what he was doing. 

"It's not like I have much of a cho-oice—" Ango's breath staggered a little as he felt Oda's lips press ever so tenderly against his ear. His stubble tickled. 

"You know you'll just end up redoing it after you've rested." Oda was right, it always happened. Ango would work and work till he burnt out and slept and when he'd return he'd find the work chicken scratch from his delirious state. "Sorry, does this tickle?" 

Ango flushed a little. Anyone who didn't know the gruff man would've thought he was being genuine. He sure sounded it. However, Ango was not just anyone to Oda. "St-stop it." 

"Sorry." Oda hummed gently. His lips withdrew from Ango's ear. But in replacement, his hands came up a little from where they were rested on his waist. His fingers began massaging into Ango's ribs. The glasses wearing man gave a yelp. "Is this better?"

"N-no that's not- b-behe– a-ah–!" Both Ango's arms clung down to his sides defensively. If he didn't know better, Ango would say Oda gave a soft, fond chuckle at the way he reacted. Just quietly behind his neutral expression.

"Youre so tense." The redhead commented as his fingers pressed into Ango's ribs. Ango wanted to tell him that that was idiotic to say, considering he was pressing into his ribs and ribs don't GET tense. But he decided against it as Oda's prodding fingers found his waist. "You should really get some rest."

"I h-ahave to fihinish my wohork–!" The brunette protested as Oda's fingers explored around his waist. This was far from this first time something like this had taken place. In fact, it happened almost weekly. Ango never won. "StOhop!" 

"It won't hurt to take a couple of hours to rest." Oda tried to reason, but he could see by the way Ango looked that he was dead set on keeping on. So he opted for a… more persuasive method. Both hands slipped down to the shorter man's thighs, squeezing quite rapidly. His lips found the crook of Ango's neck, his stubble tickling the skin as well. Ango couldn't hide the undignified squeal if he tried. 

"D-dAha— a-aH—! F-fiHine!" Ango's hands swiftly moved to shove Oda's off of his thighs. Oda obliged. The redheads hands withdrew, leaving a ruffle to Ango's hair and a final kiss to his cheek. A ghost of a fond smile grazed Oda's lips as he saw the mess of a man in the chair. Ango's face was flushed red and there was a smile across his mouth that wouldn't subside. Oda chuckled softly behind his numb expression. 

"Put away whatever you need to, I'll be in the car." 

Still slightly giggly, Ango nodded, scooping papers up as Oda left the room. It was moments like these that made the two glad to have one another.
