So I did a little something different yesterday. Donovan had these leftover stem kits from his kids school because they just went in the summer break. He gave me this tiny tank one so I built it just for fun and to learn something new. Any support is appreciated.

bruce gets to be affected by trauma. his parents haunting his narrative and him making it everyone’s problem. his decline after jason died. his hatred of guns. damian does, too. his hallucinations of alfred. the inner turmoil he goes through almost everytime he sees talia.

but it’s literally only them except for a select few comics. with everyone else, everything is forgotten when the next run starts.

give me a dick grayson who is so terrified of loss from losing so many people that he worries himself sick everytime any of his siblings don’t answer a phone call.

give me a jason todd who can’t stand to be in small spaces due to waking up in a coffin and digging himself out of his own grave.

give me a stephanie brown who still thinks about her child everytime she sees a baby.

give me a tim drake who has to force himself not to flinch everytime there’s an explosion because of how many people he killed in the league of assassin bombings.

actually i kinda wish jayce and viktor were using hextech for bioengineering instead of like. "yo dude look this hammer can shoot lasers!!!!!!!!"

not that i'm like, pro gene editing, but i think it'd be such an interesting angle on their characters. like if they made hexCRISPR instead of hexgates we'd get such a unique dynamic between viktor 'as-a-disabled-guy-i-want-to-cure-all-disabled-people-ever-whether-they-consent-to-it-or-not' arcane and jayce 'as-a-non-disabled-guy-i-cannot-even-have-a-psychosis-and-bisexuality-fuelled-hallucination-of-you-in-which-you-are-not-disabled' talis

however, as much as i wish we'd seen that specific flavour of doomed yaoi, i cannot even IMAGINE how much worse this au would be for everyone else ever. the sacrifices we make

They need some enrichment.

*Throws a set of origami papers and an origami book full force through the TV and into their faces. Most of the paper are solid colours, but they each have their own exclusive patterned papers.*

*Guest gets some camo patterns, Chance gets the four card suits, Elliot has some of pizza slices or toppings, Shedletsky gets paper with SFOTH-reminiscent swords (though it isn’t exactly them), and Builderman ends up with caution tape and hardware tool patterns*

the first square of my 365 day embroidered ginkgo leaf temperature quilt. obvious the leaf is done using 1 thread stem stitch (my favourite) and the border is pekinese stitch. i decided to use the highest and lowest temps of each day to give it a little variation, with the outside done in the warmer temp colour and the veins in the lower.
