Ignihyde - your automatic door breaks (accidentally or not) and you’re stuck in your room and nobody hears your cries because the walls are soundproof and you die of starvation or commit suicide. / Machine injury. Crushed limbs. Slow and painful death.

Diasomnia - you fell off that fucking bridge and break your spine plus you fell on thorns so it hurts like hell I am sorry. / Got into a fight with some Dia bullies and they killed you with some horrible spell. Ugly death. / Lilia’s food is too cliche so I don’t want to mention it.

Making a nettle infusion!

You need: dry nettle, a jar, a lid, a butterknife, hot water, and a fridge.

Nettle is once again lush and beautiful so I harvested a bunch (wearing gloves) and left it on the bedsheet for a few days to dry. Nettle already has very low water content so it dries very fast! Once it's crunchy it can no longer sting you, and it's harmless to touch (but don't push your hand in it randomly because stems can still cause some irritation.)

Now, when it's dry, you can grab a bunch, and stuff it inside of a jar, filling about two thirds of it (if your nettle is in smaller pieces then less!).

Once it's in a jar, you pour boiling water over it. Once the water covers all of the nettle, there's going to be a lot of displaced air bubbles inside, so grab a butter knife, and stir it around, the water level will get significantly lower.

The nettle gets so pretty and green inside. After stirring and freeing all the air bubbles, you fill it up to the very top, and you put the lid on. (If you need to grab onto the jar to close it up, use a cloth to touch it! Hot.)

You leave this to cool down, and then leave it in the fridge overnight. The next day, you grab it out of the fridge, strain it into a cup, and that's it!

The color can vary from yellow to black, depending on how much nettle you used, and how long it was left in the fridge. For some people, this will have a taste similar to milk! Sometimes it can feel slightly grassy if it's only been 24 hours since you've made it, but if you leave it half a day longer, it gets to a much sweeter tasting phase.

Now that you know how, why would you make this? Because this is amazing, incredibly helpful herbalist potion-like thing to drink. Firstly, if you're in any way lacking in iron or calcium, this will have your back. I'm using it every day to make sure my calcium levels are good and my bones healthy. It also has immense positive psychological effect on a person, it will regulate your hormones, lower your stress levels, and give you a burst of new energy. First few times I had this, it made me incredibly energetic, and for about a month I was able to get all of my chores done, despite chronic exhaustion. It made me happy and giddy and whatever I was stressed about, now seemed like an easy, do-able task. Forever impressed with this drink! And will never stop making it and drinking it, for as long as nettles are growing.

What if… one day, us and Legacy/Childe have such rough days that we decide to go out to alleviate ourselves…

By going onto the most secluded hilltop and just yelling, letting out shrieks or battle cries to get all the pent up yuck out of us. The harbor will definitely be on high alert when they hear Legacy’s unholy roar, tho.

But on the plus side, we fall asleep on said hill after watching the sun set :3

you both know from just a look that the other had an absolutely horrid day, you from your tense shoulders and rumpled clothes and Foul Legacy from the way his claws grip at the couch and how his usual chirps come out more like soft growls. on those days you simply glance at each other when you arrive home, before silently putting down your things and heading right back out the door. you don't even bother climbing the mountain, Legacy simply picks you up and spreads his wings, flying you to the highest cliffside he can find and settling down next to you. for a moment, everything is quite as the breeze ruffles your jacket and his hair and fluff

then you both scream as loudly as you can

well, Foul Legacy's is more of a guttural shriek, one that would terrify you to your bones if you didn't know it belonged to the same monster who likes burrowing under blankets and gets frightened by thunderstorms. your own shout is nothing to be sneered at either, letting out all your stress and anger and frustration from the past day until your vocal cords are spent and your voice is hoarse. only when you can't physically speak anymore do you flop down beside Foul Legacy, breathing hard. he lets out a quiet, whispering trill and rests his head on your lap, the only thing left in both of you being exhaustion and relief as you fall backwards onto the grass, staring up at the night sky. Legacy's claws knead sleepily at your legs, the motions gradually slowing as he drops off to sleep with an exhausted purr; you follow suit not even a few minutes later, your eyes fluttering shut for the first restful night you've had in a week

the next morning you wake up to a very concerned Zhongli standing over you before he launches into an hour-long lecture about the whole city heard your screams the night before and was panicking about being attacked by some beast

Dean is such a paradox for me because on the one hand, I have been actively triggered by him in the show, there are moments where, intentionally or not, the writers managed to create a portrayal of manipulation and abuse and control issues that it sets off actual alarms for me. And on the other hand, I would not have him any other way. There is something — not comforting, that’s too soft a word — about knowing where Dean’s actions stem from, having seen and learned all that we do about his childhood neglect and parentification and the trauma he goes through repeatedly in the show, and that he doesn’t come out clean. He comes out a goddamn mess who ends up hurting the people around him in reaction to his own pain!

There’s a reality there that’s. Almost nice, actually. Distressing to watch, but it is a fucking mess, it’s a good mess! He’s got zero healthy coping skills and a healthy relationship with say, his brother, is terrifying because it leaves him open to abandonment!

I’m not sure I’m wording this correctly. There is a way to be a good abuse victim. Take the pain, martyr yourself on it, and then, even if you have no support or idea how to, then you have to become a Good Person who never hurts anyone the way you have been learning to your entire life. Simply toss everything that shaped you out the door and emerge a saint with a tragic backstory. And Dean is not that. And that’s so fucking good. Everything that he has gone through continues to effect the way he treats the people around him, and he can’t fight the behaviors he might recognize as harmful because he also sees them as protecting him (or protecting Sam by keeping Sam with him.)

And sometimes, idk. It feels good to see a guy who didn’t heal the “right way.” Who mostly didn’t heal at all, just keeps the wound open because it’s easier that way.
