So, maybe instead of how we though tgat Cody at the end of the series got partner with Blurr (even tho i think that is more likely), he got partnered with Salvage. But why did I say it was most likely Blurr, because throughout series Cody bonded with everyone but was mostly connected to Heatwave and Blurr.

He didn't gived up on Blurr at any given moment whatever he has done, and always believed in him. While Blurr wasn't emotionally connected to anyone except Cody, which he proved in line like: (I don't know lines correctly) "Why did it have to be Cody?" he said when he left Griffin Rock and left Cody behind, stuck below pipes. "This is all thenks to you" when he got his rescue bot mark. And there is probably more incidents that I can't remember at the moment.

heatwave and optimus are such an underrated comedic duo. every single time they are in the same vicinity as each other everything immediately goes to shit. this is i think because they are both primus's blorbos, and in true blorbo fashion, must suffer. greatly. anyway this leads to some very fun interactions such as:

heatwave, newly appointed leader of like every rescue bot, on his first day as a secret alien on earth, immediately deciding he wants to leave right after accepting optimus's orders. and when he can't do that, he starts talking to people because he has no fear i guess.

optimus prime, leader of the cybertronian race, chosen by primus, and guy who says "nothing much, double dutch" in response to an extremely casual greeting in a very formal situation in front of his child (heatwave), presumably to embarrass said child.

heatwave, recent student of optimus's old friend who is a respected and decorated war veteran as well as a long time rescue bot, calling optimus (WHO IS FRIENDS WITH THIS GUY) just to bitch at him.

optimus prime, protector of civilians and humanity, fully prepared to watch a game show (created by blades and chase) in which a human child gets electrocuted. (there was a misunderstanding involving the term "lightning round" in trivia).

heatwave, rescue team leader, assigned to protect humans, straight up just driving off a cliff into the ocean with no warning, with his human partner who is screaming, all to win a race.

optimus prime, by now nearly a godlike figure, adopted father of all the rescue bots, also a terrible communicator, ghosting his kids for four years (get it. ghost. bc he died.) and then not explaining ever.

like literally i could go on but they are total messes and it's hilarious. where is all the content of incredibly chaotic and weird father daughter bonding for heatwave and optimus. they are so funny.

Idk if this is obvious but i just wanna make sure. So does everybody know that heatwave’s main reason for wanting to join the war wasn't to help restore cybertron but to get revenge. Which is kinda why he was the only one who kept trying to ask to join the prime team. Im only saying this cuz rn im writing another rant about how quickshadow impact the rescue team on their views on decepticons and the reasons im giving sound like I knew the writes personally and gave me every damn detail on this show. I forget about the weird time paradox in TFRB that they never had time to flesh out (or didn’t intend to). You know, the thing with Jules Verne, who’s from the 19th century, knowing Heatwave as a Cybertronian and not as a robot. (He knows of Heatwave primarily, but Cybertronians overall.)

Honestly, it takes me back to my big hypothesis/AU(?) on Prime titles being passed down from the Covenant Thirteen to Optimus’ generation, then passed down to the next generation like Heatwave and Smokescreen, etc. So, what? Does this mean Heatwave, meeting Verne, is enough of a legend to be the primary representative of Cybertronians meeting humans? Does this make him a Prime or mean that he is? Is Heatimus Prime (working title) canon?

I’m back on my humanformers High Tide bullshit. I found a design I like more, and then kinda just messed around with outfits for a while. The design I’m going for right now is the first one

In the shattered Glass timelines there's another bot named Heatwave in the TFwiki.

It could either be confirmed or a different person but regardless the theory seems plausible, whoever is not canon to say the least.

Is Heatwave really an Autobot?

Two fan theories in one day! This one came out of the blue and it was inspired by @geminiofpluto​ who had an art piece in her reblogs that seemed strange, but now, kind of explains a bit about Heatwave. The big obscure fan theory I am going to discuss is the Autobot from the beloved Rescue Bots series aimed for small children and how he may have a huge skeleton in his closet. The big theory and mystery is… is Heatwave really an Autobot?

Now, I know what many fans are thinking. Of course he’s an Autobot! He’s got the insignia, he calls himself one and he’s a Rescue Bot for crying out loud! However, might I remind everyone that in the beginning of the series, Heatwave didn’t want to be a Rescue Bot especially not for humans. He wanted to be a soldier in Optimus Prime’s platoon and even after he was given his task, he practised it begrudgingly making it constantly obvious that he didn’t want to be there. While his coworkers found joy in their jobs, Heatwave never completely did. Sure, he does save people and he does have a good spark, but that doesn’t mean he’s a saint. Heatwave always came across as the most hostile out of the four bots and even when he went on to become a teacher in Rescue Bots Academy, this aggression remained.

I also noticed something else that is worth noting even if it seems a weird: Heatwave is the most frightening when angry. He bares his teeth, raises his voice, clenches his fists, is not above making threats and has even gotten spiteful at times. Another thing about Heatwave that is unbecoming of an Autobot is that he doesn’t seem to like people very much in general not just humans. And not in an unfriendly-I-just-want-to-be-left-alone way like Gears does. Heatwave is an-I-hate-everything-and-everyone level of not liking people. And the more he doesn’t like you, the meaner he can get. I mean, just look at how he treats Hotshot. Yes, Hotshot is a handful, but I have to say it if no one else will, Heatwave actively singles him out and when he becomes his personal instructor, he is negligent and even tricks him into doing janitor work. Moreover, he only starts warming up to Hotshot when the kid starts idolising him which just seems off to me. The only type of people Heatwave does seem to like are fighters and fans hence why he idolises Optimus and respects Cody. And why he only took a liking to Hotshot when he started to idolise him. The more I look at Heatwave’s personality profile, the less I see an Autobot. Yes, deep down, he is good and tries to stay on the straight and narrow, but it seems to be a struggle with him. This has lead me to think that maybe just maybe Heatwave isn’t really an Autobot at all. Methinks that Heatwave has a bit of Decepticon in him.

Like I said, this doesn’t mean his moral alignment isn’t good. It is all the way. However, having Decepticon code in your data does have an impact on you and it is a fact that it does give the Transformer a predisposition to be a fighter. While some bots are better at managing these aggressive urges, they all have it. I would imagine that these urges are even harder to manage in an Autobot society which is well meaning, but has the backwater lifestyle of suppressing negativity rather than dealing with it which explains why Heatwave is a bundle of nerves. As DeviantArt user beccaboo13 explains in an article post of hers, she noticed the same traits in Heatwave and explains that he either was once entirely Decepticon and converted or one of his parents was a Decepticon meaning while his frame and insignia are Autobot, his data had Decepticon in it.

However, unlike her, I don’t think Heatwave is aware of it because he has the Autobot mentality and patriotism. He also only knows the Autobot way hence his loyalty to the Prime and wanting to serve him directly. My theory is that Heatwave was born a Decepticon, but converted as a sparkling or very small youngling by a set of adoptive Autobot parents who have yet to confide in him. Or one of his parents converted to Autobot, but this process is not perfect so some Decepticon got carried over to Heatwave. Keep in mind that in Autobot society, interfactional marriage is forbidden so having the Decepticon parent convert was the only way they could get married and both live on Cybertron.

Now, this isn’t to say that the Decepticon data (if it is there) has done only a disservice to Heatwave. The same Decepticon code that makes him hostile, stubborn and daring also makes him protective, passionate and willing to take heroic risks hence why he is a Rescue Bot at all. I mean, why should he be reduced to pretending that he’s a mindless robot and never take credit for his own hard work? And seriously, is he really in the wrong about being angry that he got reduced to a playground? Is this honouring him really even under the guise of a mindless robot? It’s not and frankly, if his partner respected him back, he would have at least asked the kids to not bring food on him and handle with care. This… come on. This is objectification and mockery.

Anyway, that is my fan theory inspired by @geminiofpluto​ and hope you all liked it.

When would Danny get to GR? The dude is so damn overpowered that its hilarious, even if he holds back, so imagine the Burns faces when they watch him lift the boys ship with a single hand and the brat says "oh, this? This weighs like a bunch of grapes lol". And when he tells them all his adventures and that he defeated the ghost version of Unicron on steroids and several minor deities.

I’m writing the second chapter actually! The first chapter is being edited, I hope to post it on AO3 with my other fics by the end of the week! Hopefully that comes into fruition, if not, then within this month.

I can’t say much on when or how Danny gets to GR. All I can say though, is that it happens in the first chapter. Danny and Cody meet in the first chapter too and mysteries are put in place.

I am going to go the Ghost King route, but I won’t go into detail on how. ;3

Danny is an overpowered boy with great humor. But man, he can be such a dork with cringe fail action. Cody is definitely the most mature out of the two, but not by much. He tends to create trouble by his wants and actions when he doesn’t think things through. The Trash-compacter episode comes to mind. Danny does similar stuff.

They’re both nerds, have older red headed siblings, work as heroes, have some sort of relevant connections to royalty and pirates, fight machines, fight ghosts or ghost adjacent stuff, and both have friend(s) who are knowledgeable in things they’re not. The list can go on.

With that dynamic into perspective, here are my cute romantic hcs:

Danny, as Phantom, would often call Cody, “Boy Scout.” But as Danny, he would call Cody, “Codes.” Even before they get together, he calls Cody these names as a way to separate his ghost side from his living side. It doesn’t work, however. Because Cody would be like, “Hang on, how do you know I was as a scout? I don’t wear my sash everywhere I go… Wait, I recognize that hair cut!” Cody would notice that Danny is Phantom almost immediately. But he wouldn’t say anything and just roll with it. He’s seen some weird stuff, this wouldn’t be any different. Danny would also call Cody his Guardian Angel or Psychopomp due to how they met as a little inside joke. But the joke becomes real. The irony of the protecter spirit actually having a protector is funny to me. But this would go both ways.

Cody would a hundred and ten percent believe that Danny is an alien before finding out he’s a ghost. The entire Burns Family and the Docs would believe that as well. Even The Bots would think he’s some strange shifter species from space like them. Danny just happens to either be half alien, or an alien who grew up with human culture, those types of theories. So they brush off obvious signs of ghostly activity for a while. But Cody would be the first to know via Danny telling him. The angst would be obvious.

And just like Cody being the first to know, he would also be the first to gain feelings for Danny before Danny catches feelings for him. It’s a slow build, but he notices them and develops his first crush. He would act all shy, stutter occasionally, and doze off with a dreamy expression.

He would constantly think Danny’s eyes are brighter then Energon, would want to comb through his hair, and go on hikes to the top of GR and watch the stars with him. Heck, he would find a way to the stars with Frankie’s help.

His siblings would notice this immediately, since their love lives have been active since the dawn of time, especially Kade’s. And they would both get nervous and excited. The Bots would look on in confusion, but realize Cody is having feelings, and also get excited.

But hey! Cody’s the baby, so there will be plenty of, “Gah! No! Not the baby! He’s going through puberty! He’s gaining a crush! Oh the humanity! They grow up to fast! What do we do?” \TAT/

The Docs, Frankie, and Mr. Burns would be the only few to handle this with any form of maturity.

Danny would be slower in catching on. But he develops feeling not too long after Cody.

He would stutter too, doze off, but would still give Cody various pet names. However, where in the beginning he said certain names more sparingly, now he’s saying them ever time they hang out. Names like Angel, My Guardian, Soul Mate (I explained why in my last ask, but it’s because they have similar shoes but inverted), Sunlight, Capella, Aviator, the list goes on.

Danny would ask for hugs more often, and help around whenever he sees Cody doing something like cooking and junk. At first, he would ask if Cody needs help, but eventually he just does stuff with Cody without asking first. They get into a grove, chat, and be done with cleaning or fixing something very quickly.

Danny would start to make fudge, to, and give it to Cody as a gift. He would even tinker around and make machines to gift to Cody, like a mini telescope, a compass that looks old but is too advanced for any government to use, and various other items.

I want to say more, but I’m going to cap it off here. The want to speak is dwarfed by my want to show it all in the story.

Update there is now a fic!

I saw a few theories about Tfrb Cody. How he isn't biologically Burns because of that mind control episode. Since Cody was the only one who was not given a phone. But I saw the post from Ash (i think) that said how it's wholesome how Charlie wanted to keep Cody out of it, and it's not because he is a kid since he had given a phone to Frenkie even though she is also only a kid.

So my theory is that Cody is his only bio child. And that he had adopted Kade, Graham, and Dani when they were babies (but they don't know that) because he and his late wife couldn't have children on their own. Later, maybe since also Dr. Green and his late wife couldn't have children. He made some kind of machine to help her get pregnant. He and his wife tried it, and she got pregnant with Frenkie. So, Dr. Green encountered Charlie and Mrs. Burns to try it, and after a few months, they gived in and tried it, so she got pregnant with Cody. A couple of maybe months or years after Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Green's birth, they got side effects from that machine and died. This is why Charlie is so overprotective of Cody and Dr. Green of Frenkie.

Once upon a time, lot of time ago, when the universe was young and the world was just a dot of dirt, a star passed through, bright and shiny, the star travelled towards the sky, intrigued by how big the universe was, the star went far away from his home at a distant galaxy only with hope as package and the dream of being the first even star to cross all over the cosmos with no help, on the way, the star spotted a little dot, a planet illuminated only with the Sun and the young moon it recently acquired, but something was different, the planet, compared to the ones the star saw before had a spark beating on its center, and standing on the dark side of the planet, a tiny spark was standing, watching at the sky, a little sparkling who decided to say hi to the new visitor

“Hi, Star!” The sparkling greeted with excitement

“Hi! Little guy” the star greeted too “Do you live in this planet?”

“Yes! I live here! This planet is my home.” The sparkling replied with a big smile “From where are you from?”

“I am from far away, not land or place, just far away, but I’m also a traveler, I am visiting every planet I see on the view, including yours”

“That’s so amazing! But don’t you miss your family?” The sparkling asked with a curious and sad face

“I do, but my dream is to be the first star to explore the entire cosmos with no exception, and I must complete my goal, which had gave me only happiness since I went from home”

“In that case, take this” the sparkling, who would never thought of getting out of home, couldn’t let the star go without something to remember “you’re far away from home, and I wouldn’t like my friend to travel alone anymore, take my favorite necklace, so you will now travel alongside a friend”

“A friend you say?” The star asked with doubt, but because of the sparkling’s happy faceplate, the star decided to accept the gift with gratitude “thank you, young one, my good, good friend. I also want to give you something…”

“Are you telking them that story again?” A voice from the green bot of behind interrupted the tale, making the sparklings react with a ferocious shhh so the narrator could continue “well, well, I get it…”

“Thank you, young one, my good, good friend. I also want to gave you something special” and the star, surrounding the sparkling, bathed the sparkling and part of the Land in its light “now, young one, you will remember me with this gift. Please, make sure each time you and this Land uses this gift, you will remember me, because each time I’ll feel this necklace, I will remember you, dear friend”

And the star ascended again to space and continued its travel, while the young sparkling went to home to tell this new encounter…

“I don’t think that’s true” a sparkling said with lots of doubts “stars don’t talk!”

“Have you talked with a star?” Another sparkling, smaller and louder, asked the sceptic sparkling

“No”

“See? If you never talked with a star, then, there’s no way you can confirm they don’t talk!”

“But if they talk, then, why don’t they come?” Another sparkling with purple optics and white pupils asked

“I don’t know” the energetic sparkling replied “but if not, how can you explain your purple optics and your brilliant freckles?! And last time you made a book float! How do you explain magic if it’s not because of stars?”

“The magnetic properties of Sparks?” The sceptic sparkling replied

“That’s just a theory!”

“It doesn’t even count as a theory, is just an hypothesis because it hasn’t been confirmed yet” another sparkling with a different pattern of freckles and red optics replied

“Are you actually going to debate how some sparks got magical powers right now?” The narrator teased the kids with a funny smile

“It’s funny to do so” the energetic sparkling replied, as the others also started confirmed their answers, indeed, they liked to talk about this, a lot

“Well, in that case, I’ll leave you…”

“No!” The sparklings shouted out loud, becoming silent again quickly, waiting for another story

“Well, bad for you, because if I’m not incorrect, YOU already have things to do with certain bot that is waiting for you outside” the green bot that interrupted before came again from behind, this time the sparklings shouted in protest, they didn’t wanted to go yet

“Just one more!”

“Yes! Just one!

“Please!”

“Fine, fine!” The narrator calmed his tiny audience “what story do you want to hear now?”

“The White Knight!” A sparkling with blue freckles and optics raised a servo and shouted, receiving the other’s sparkling approval

“Which one of them?”

“Ammm… I know! The time when he saved a king from bad guys!”

“Noo! That’s too sad!” The sparkling with white freckles and purple optics said “Better the time he found the Lake Lady!”

“That’s too boring! What about the time he domesticated a big dragon in a day!” The sceptic sparkling had now optics full of amazement

“What about the time he stopped an entire army of thieves with just his dentae and one bullet!” The energetic sparkling throw servos to the air in excitement

“The time he killed the Black Hole Magician!”

“NOOO!” The other kids denied the suggestion in choir, suddenly in fear

“Haven’t you heard that if you say that name three times in a row, its spirit will come and eat your spark?!” The energetic sparkling shouted in terror

“Dead sparks don’t eat sparks! But that story is way too scary” the sceptic sparkling made like hugging himself

“Not that one!” The sparkling with purple optics moved her head from one way to another, like getting it out of her helm “the magician is too scary!”

“Once an uncle told me his mentor died because the magician took his spark out of his chest with its bare servos!” The sparkling with red optics shared with her friends, making all them ask quickly about the case or yell at the others for mentioning its name

“Okay! Okay! We’ll evade the magician topic!” The narrator called the sparklings attention for them to calm “what if I tell a funny story instead? You make me talk about the White Knight like… all the time”

“But those are our favorites!” The sceptic sparkling justified himself

“Fine, fine, one last story, okay?”

…

The green bot put the books on its place, not even watching if it was the correct shelf, they already knew it was the correct by how many years they have been doing the same almost each night before closing the library they had for years, only distracted by a a pair of arms and a smooch at their cheekplate

“Do you need help with it, geny?”

“I wouldn’t need it if you let me go” the green bot replied, trying to sound serious and apathetic

“Are you denying me the right to hug you and kiss you whenever I want?”

“Who told you have that right?”

“Am, I don’t know, maybe you did the day you said yes in front of Primus itself?” He said with a grin while planting another kiss

“Heatwave, let me go! I want to close early today”

“Wait wait wait” Heatwave stopped for a moment like if was told something incredible “did I heard by accident a little laugh in that line?”

“No, you didn’t” Boulder replied quickly

“Wrong answer” but it was already too late

“Heatwave, no-” if there’s something Boulder hated the most about Heatwave was that he couldn’t feel not even the tinniest reserved laugh or he would do anything to get it out of Boulder’s system, and tickles was his favorite method “HEATWAVE- LET GOO!” Laughs invaded the silent library, loud and scandalous, deep as Boulder’s voice could be as they tried to separate from Heatwave’s arms, but even now that they were both old and Heatwave’s leg wasn’t the same since vorns ago, Heatwave was still stronger than Boulder

“Now you will let me kiss you with no complaint?”

“Fine! FINE!” Boulder laughed hard that last word because of Heatwave’s last warning tickle, finally letting Boulder go “Don’t you get tired of making fun of everything?”

“Nop” Heatwave said with a grin “but” nonetheless, he lowered his voice and his tone “about earlier…”

“Is okay, I was expecting that would happen, the White Knight is the kid’s favorite”

“Boulder, that's not what I mean” Heatwave called their attention, despite Boulder’s sad look, he knew his partner would just shut up about it and make like nothing happened, which both already knew wasn’t okay but yet Boulder did the same each time “is okay if you didn’t liked what they said”

“I know” Boulder replied, putting the rest of the books on the shelfs “I just… I don’t like I’m still remembered like that”

“Stories like those tend to change many times”

“And yet they still think I eat sparks” Boulder’s optics turned a bitter as they thought of earlier, but Boulder couldn’t get mad at them, they’re kids, but they learn it from somewhere, and yet all those comments tend to stick on their spark like nails “but don’t mind me”

“I can’t do that” Heatwave took their servo softly and caressed it “you’re too gorgeous for that”

“Hmp, shut up” Boulder hid a laugh on that line

“I’m serious, and also kind, gentle, and also you’re maybe even best storyteller than I am”

“And yet those kids love you, not me”

“Why do you say that? They love you too! You’re just a really good actor and make them think you’re a grumpy old guy” Heatwave laughed with that sentence, it wasn’t that funny for Boulder, but yet Heatwave’s never ending enthusiasm was Boulder’s soft spot, which made them give him a properly hug

“Thanks, Heatwave” Boulder said softly, at which Heatwave replied with a kiss on Boulder’s forehead and a big hug

“Anytime” Heatwave didn’t let go of the warm hug until Boulder got distracted again by a thought

“Heatwave, where’s your cane?”

“…I-”

“I’m going to take a look outside and if I come back and is not in our servos, you will pay it and it will not be funny” Boulder with serious optics let go of Heatwave on search of said cane

“C’mon, I don’t even need it now!” But Heatwave called and brought Boulder by one arm again to him “don’t you want to talk more?”

“No, I’ll go for the cane”

“But sweetspark! I want you here with me, and to” he interrupted himself to give Boulder a kiss “give you lots of love today”

“Do you?” Boulder made a tiny, funny laugh, then, took both Heatwave’s cheek plates on their servos like a cup and kissed Heatwave’s nose bridge “am I invited?”

“Yes you are” Heatwave again kissed Boulder’s helm, taking their servos and kissing them, meeting then with Boulder’s lips “I love you” he said with one last kiss

“I love you” Boulder also replied with a tiny smooch on Heatwave’s nose bridge and a tiny one on his lips

Okay……..I just thought of something that is absolutely FUCKING CRAZY for the Aligned Continuity and it’s weirdly bilingual child characters.

You guys remember how in Transformers Prime, Rafael could understand what Bumblebee was saying, meaning he could understand Universal? And how in Rescue Bots Cody could understand what Bumblebee was saying, which meant he could understand Universal two? I know it’s not confirmed but, also in Rescue Bots Dr. Elma Hendrickson somehow found a quantum crystal and was about to build a time machine. Not to mention the Greene family, mainly Ezra Greene, Anna Baronova, and Cece, are seriously smart. Cece might be even smarter than her dad tbh.

And now, do you guys remember how Salvage helped a bunch of cave people from getting hurt by the asteroids, and how, I think, a couple of them had energon necklaces like Ira the caveman when he thawed?

What if, and I seriously mean WHAT IF - Raf, Cody, maybe Elma, maybe Cece, are descendants of the cave people that Salvage saved?….

Hear me out, maybe those energon necklaces somehow became….a part of them, like their energy fields affected the ancient peoples so much it became a part of them, and manifested themselves within their DNA or auras. To the point where if they did lose them, they would still be with them, ya know? Then a bunch of history stuff happens, and their bloodlines are scattered, and those bloodlines became the Esquivels, the Burns, the Hendricksons, and the Greenes(or maybe the Baranovas).

Also, let’s talk about the friggin LADY OF GRIFFIN ROCK. She is literally RIGHT THERE. It’s like the producers want me to think that she came into possession of an energon crystal that she inherited from her ancestors that she later passed down to her son. And when her son and husband set out on that boat there was an incident, in which the crystal might’ve been the source of, and due to her being the most exposed to the crystal it became a part of her and made her into a ghost due to her Indomitable Human Spirit TM.

And like, through pure coincidence they’ve all been drawn back to Griffin Rock, or any Cybertronian activity in general.

It’s the Aligned Continuity, we’ve seen crazier.
