I didn't include two of the main(ish) characters because one of them is the villain and I don't like him, and the other one has (to put it respectfully) a very short life.

Elisabeth -- evermore

I associate Elisabeth with evermore because a lot of the evermore songs are about love and loss. That is what her story is driven by. In the beginning, it's the love and need to protect her brother that pushes her through the story. In the end, the loss she experienced makes her wonder if what she did was even worth it.

Vesta -- folklore

Vesta is folklore because folklore has a lot of emotionally vulnerable songs. Vesta, while not outwardly emotional, carries a lot of emotional baggage. She tries hard, but it never seems to be enough, which ultimately leads to the end of her story.

Christabel -- Lover

Christabel is so Lover because first of all: the vibes. Secondly, Lover is a really happy album so most people gloss over the songs that talk about real issues or intense feelings. Christabel's character might be easy to look over at first but she has real issues and feelings.

Again: the vibes. The cover and style of the songs on reputation seem really tough but when you listen to the album, you see that it's almost all love songs. Astra may have a hard exterior, but she feels a lot and has a lot of love to give. It may just be a little harder for her to show it.

Red Hooded Phantoms

Hmm

Another deaged or reborn Danny idea

But also Danny is Jason plotline. I've seen a few Danny is/reborn Dick, Tim, and a few rare Damian ones but I feel like we don't see a lot of Danny as Jason.

After being deaged by Vlad in another failed attempt to make Danny his son, he decided to try raising a deaged Danny instead because the boy would have no memories of his past, however during the struggle between Vlad and Team Phantom, Danny is sent into Vlad's lab portal and into the Zone, only for another random portal to open up and drop him into the DCverse and into a Gotham alleyway.

He is found by Shelia Haywood and well, we all know the life of Jason Todd after that.

Or he dies due to like the GIW, or bad Vlad, or bad Fenton Parents (Not picky on which) and is later reborn due to the damage done to his core.

It isn't until he dies and returns that Jason Danny feels like its something familiar, something is itching in the back of mind as he mindlessly wonders around Gotham after digging himself out of his grave.

And it only becomes more and more familiar when he is later found by the LOA/Talia and tossed into the Pits. Even the rage he gains feels familiar.

Later he becomes Red Hood, and that timeline happens.

Jason Danny doesn't find out the actual truth until one day the sky is ripped open by a glowing Lazarus green portal and a large armor covered being steps out, declaring he is there to fight for his crown/throne against the one that bested him last time and to bring forth Phantom for their battle.

And he had less than a few hours to come forward or else he will rip this world apart. (Pariah Dark may be a Tyrant King but he wanted his throne/crown back along with revenge against the one that stole it in the first place legitimately so it couldn't be denied)

A huge JL and JLD meeting is held and no one can find this 'Phantom'

So someone in JLD has a suggestion to summon someone from the Infinite Realms who might be able to help them locate Phantom (or maybe summon Phantom himself since he's technically the Ghost King.)

If we go with summoning someone other than Phantom, they manage to summon Jazz (whose acting as Queen Regent at the moment since Danny went missing)

And the moment he see's Jazz, Jason Danny feels his head and soul start to hurt. And memories he's sometimes see's in his dreams start bubbling into the surface.

I don't know if putting fate in the hands of Dark is a good idea. He doesn't strike me as the... reliable type, to put it lightly.

This might be an insane opinion, but on average, I don't think the MCU has dipped that much in quality.

Key phrase here - ON AVERAGE -

Some of my favorite stuff the MCU has produced has been made after Infinity War and Endgame. For example, X-Men '97, Guardians 3, Deadpool & Wolverine, Loki, and Shang-Chi.

The problem is, a large amount of the releases have been, by Marvel standards, not very good. There are some mediocre productions I personally enjoyed but acknowledge they aren't critically that good and I'm one of the few who enjoys them (biggest example being The Marvels, which I enjoyed despite it not being particularly good)

Even worse, Ant-Man 3 and Secret Invasion make Thor 2 look good by comparison. (I haven't seen The Eternals and thus will not comment on it's quality)

Anyways, the MCU is quality-wise the same, but it's been having higher highs and lower lows.

Anyways the Sequel, Who's excited for Superman and Fantastic 4 in July!

The battle had been long. Long and destructive, power rolling from both combatants as they launched at each other and tore through armor and flesh alike. 

Islands fell from the skies with every clash, swaths of utter annihilation following as they fought long after their armies had finished. Wings swept great gales of wind that shadows raced to block, fire meeting fire and claws meeting blade as two beasts brawled. 

Finess was no longer a thing needed- this was all about who could last longer now. One who fought for itself, for its legacy of tyranny, and another who fought together, as one. 

The battle was long, no one quite sure how long but enough to be called as such. It could have been hours, it could have been days, it could have even been centuries in this mauling of what was and what could be.  

And finally, the One-That-Was-Many rose victorious over the king before it, dead once more at its talons, wings spread to usher in a new era for the realms. 

Or at least, that was how the tale went, according to Marvel. Even he wasn’t sure what parts of it were true or simply legend, but it was an interesting story all the same. It kept the kids entertained at least, and caught the others attention so there was that.

Egyptology tumblr. Help. One of my coworkers at a construction site knows I'm an archaeologist and asked if I knew of Graham Hancock. We had an... interesting discussion. He seems reasonable and open to considering different ideas, but he is *convinced* there are no records of the Giza Pyramids being built and thinks that their construction is still a mystery. I told him otherwise, and he seemed legitimately interested if I could find sources and challenged me to do so. @somecunttookmyurl @thatlittleegyptologist @rudjedet and anyone else who might be able to help, if you happen to have sources or resources about construction of the pyramids. Please share if you're able/have the time. I can probably find some stuff on my own but if anyone has sources on hand that would be amazing.

Most games that have a dialogue system making use of more than one text style have an internal markup system (similar to e.g. HTML tags) used to determine properties of the text, such as size, color etc. inside the message.

In the Super Mario Galaxy games, some of these tags are not merely redundant but outright self-defeating, so that one tag may change the text properties only to be immediately undone by a different tag changing them to something else.

The image shows a baffling example of a message in Super Mario Galaxy 2 that visually changes color 5 times (starting with black, to red, to black, to blue and finally back to black), which would normally need no more than 5 color change tags.

However, internally, the game instead changes the color 10 times, including multiple times in a row into the same color. This messy implementation is likely a remnant of various rewrites of the original message whereby the tags were never cleaned up between revisions.
