i think asanoya is so annoying bc nobody can convince Asahi that Noya likes him. Like full stop. Eventually someone pulls him aside and is point blank like "Noya said he has a crush on you ask him out" and Asahi is just like: "Haha he was probably joking" and just leaves the scene. Like the absolute refusal to believe it from Asahi combined with Noya's classic teen boy inability to be sincere means that even after theyve both been told they somehow still havent gotten together??? how long is this going to take???

tsukkiyama probably ruins everyone's week the week before they get together bc one of them *saw* a confession letter stuck into the other's bag and absolutely went (emotionally) off the rails for the days leading up to them discovering it was for them.

I am fully of the camp that iwaoi start dating before they label it/make it official so the whole team is screaming like "PLEASE HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT IT" meanwhile Oikawa is saying "we just went on a few dates and kissed a few times it doesnt mean anything" and Iwa is in the background shouting "yeah I dont wanna be anyone's boyfriend that's lame" and then they wander off to go eat dinner together holding hands and the team is left in frustration because ALL they talk about is how theyre *not* in a relationship.

for bokuaka its mostly just Bokuto pestering every goddamn person he knows for like 4 months asking "do you think Akaashi likes me?" or "do you think he'd say yes if I asked him out?" and then one day making Konoha *snap* when he says "I need to tell you a secret" and the secret is that he has a crush on Akaashi as if nobody had known that

with ushiten I imagine Tendou was probably really obvious with his crush/interest but in like a very casual "not taking myself too seriously" kind of way so he's comfortable openly flirting, and Ushijima, against everyone's expectations, doesnt seem to mind the attention but is still who he is, so the whole team just has to put up with the most INSANE interactions. Like Tendou walks into the locker room and cat calls him and Ushijima just replies with a formal "thank you" and Semi is contemplating slamming his head in a locker. There's like 12 months of this.

okay okay but I think arankita is *very classic* in that Aran compensates for his crush by over-supporting Kita. so like the whole team gets super annoyed bc Aran wont risk disagreeing with him, is always offering to do extra work, is generally just sucking-up really badly and the twins suffer the most for this bc Aran used to just ignore their antics but now he's super annoyingly on them all the time to try and impress Kita

kuroken is a little different. Yaku asks Kuroo every single day if he's asked Kenma out yet. Lev asks Kenma if he has a crush on Kuroo every chance he gets. Fukunaga gives them a wink when they leave practice to walk home together. This is the only pairing in which the team is the irritant pre-relationship and then post-relationship everyone loses interest and moves on.

I'd include kagehina but once again the entire goddamn show is everyone putting up with them flirting so whats the point.

i like that we finally get to see what pushes alastors buttons in episode five.

we actually see him mad. you can argue that with vox hes also mad at the end of their song in 'stayed gone' but it doesnt really seem like that. its him threatening vox yes but in the end hes not mad. he isnt really losing his cool. its him basically just saying that hes still in charge

also throughout their whole song alastor doesnt really provoke vox, hes passive aggressive. never interrupting him and when their screens are split and he only pokes him once yet that one time was enough to send vox and black out the entirety of hell (although this mightve been alastor)

throughout the entiry of their song vox is constantly trying to block alastor to say 'he isnt a threat hes a nobody' but as we can see he's clearly failing. and as with each passing second vox gets more annoyed and as i said. he ends up causing a MASSIVE blackout one that takes over all of hell

throughout this entire time though alastor doesnt flinch. he doesnt fight for the spotlight because he doesnt need it. vox is making a fool of himself like alastor probably expects him to based on past encounters that we dont see.

yet with lucifer they probably have some sort of history.

alastor actually feels somewhat threatened/doesnt want lucifer there (whether if lilith told him not to assuming that he owes his soul to lilith but you get the point). he wants lucifer gone. not only that but hes pushing him saying that hes basically like a father to charlie already.

alastor is trying to replace lucifer but remember that lucifer not only the king of the pride ring (i forgot the terminology alr-) but hes also the king of hell.

despite lucifer acting like a joke in the singular episode that we see him in he is the most powerful being in hell. hes more powerful than lilith or charlie (and once again assuming that lilith owns alastor a pretty damn powerful being shes really fucking powerful).

if lucifer wants he could probably obliterate alastor in less than a damn second, yet he doesnt for a few reasons

hes important to what charlies doing

this basically gives alastor invincibility against lucifer going bonkers on him and killing him. then again why doesnt lucifer just help charlie? well hes probably got more important things to do (despite what we saw of him) and hes given up on the sinners.

he gave them freewill and never got to see the good done with it. he most likely never saw the people who went to heaven so for all he knows everyone ended up down in hell and are doing shit things with what he gave them.

he most likely wants them gone and wants the extermination to happen because he thinks that they dont deserve a second chance unlike his daughter. but remember that he also loves charlie, thats his fucking daughter and when she calls him he gets excited he wants charlie to like him. but that being said he doesnt think the sinners deserve his kindness anymore after they took his gift and basically made a fool of him.

so lucifer wont help charlie so he just has alastor help her instead to keep her happy.

not only this but in the song 'hells greatest dad' (i think its called that) unlike in 'stayed gone' theyre both fighting for attention. charlies attention.

once again we dont know what beef theyve got with each other but its most likely because of either the past or whether or not that lilith owns alastor and told him to fuck with lucifer.

in this scene we see the color constantly change and them constantly kicking each other out with them both losing their cool and making a fool of themselves. theyre an actual match for each other

lucifer is an actual threat and so is alastor for reasons that we dont know yet. this makes them have to prove their worth to charlie over whos more powerful and who can help her more because even though lucifer doesnt want to help the sinners (and most likely wont) he wants to make her happy.

and even though we dont know why alastor hates lucifer its probably most likely to do with whoever owns his soul and whatnot along with he needs lucifer just out of the picture and that isnt as easy to do as he'd like.

You had liked Ghost for years now, ever since being introduced to the team. At first he was distant and never truly paid any attention to anyone. Which was fine. He would come and sit but never engage. After landing on the tarmac he would pace and be the first one out. It made everyone wonder if he had a lass back at home. He would deny which eventually you thought it was true.

You knocked on your captain’s office waiting for his gruff voice to beckon you in. You stepped in closing the door behind you. “Everthin’ alright Sargent?”

You nodded little nervous to even ask the question. But both Gaz and Soap asked and got shot down. Soap mentioned that you were basically Captain’s long lost daughter so maybe he would answer you. You also wanted an answer kill the rumors and he done with it.

“Yeah yeah Cap just have a question.” You started smiling as you took a seat in front of the desk.

Price looked over you before shaking his head. “Nope not my business.” You gave a quizzed look before opening your mouth and shutting it. “You ask Ghost not me.”

“How did you…”

Price looked up from his papers once more and sighed. “Kid I have been hearing non stop asking from Soap and Gaz randomly has an interest in it as well. It doesn’t take a donkey to know what’s going on.”

You sighed leaning back into the chair. “We tried he doesn’t give us an answer.”

Price frowned before placing his pen down and leaning in. “Sargent, sometimes when people don’t say anything means they don’t want no one to know. Maybe this is one of these moments. Leave the man be.”

So you left it at that, felt like an asshole and told Soap and Gaz the same. So everyone dropped it. It wasn’t until the past two years he became more involved with the team. Coming to bars. Playing cards. Everything up the nine yards. You and him particularly became closer. You noticed that he would be keeping an eye out for you on missions and the same thing for you. Making sure each other’s backs were covered.

You both would banter back and forth with each other. Playful always. Ghost isn’t the touch type however, small touches will be played against your clothes or pat on the shoulder. Something that he wouldn’t do around the others or to others. It just fed your mind more your crush turning into a like.

It wasn’t until now you wanted to tell him. Couldn’t hide it anymore. Both of you worked together and it was just getting harder and harder not to show it. Finally when the team went out for celebrations you asked him if he wanted a smoke. He agreed and followed you out.

It was quiet for a moment listening to the cars passing by. You inhaled the cigarette you held before exhaling. “I like you Ghost.” You mumbled.

It went quiet again, you damn near thought he didn’t hear you from the no response that was suppose to come after. You were about to leave it as that and move on, not even making eye contact with him. “You can’t.” He said quickly not looking at you as well.

You snapped your head up to him. “And why can’t I?” You sounded irritated and as you should have. What gives for him to tell you that you shouldn’t.

Ghost shook his head. “Because ya don’t need to, kid”

You stood there for a moment before shaking your head. “Why?”

Ghost looked up at you, reading your eyes. He has known that you liked him for awhile, deep down he did but he couldn’t. He didn’t want to tell you but at the same time he wanted to. You both stared for a moment before he inhaled. “‘Cause anyone that does dies and rather keep ya alive.”

Ghost didn’t move after you blinked couple of times. “Ghost I won’t…”

“Kid,” He looked away before taking an inhale of his cigarette. “‘M also in love with someone and I don’ think anyone can replace her.”

“Oh,” You said quietly, this is one of these moments, you could hear Price’s voice in the back of your mind. Despite that voice you sighed and mumbled. “Could have started with that.”

Ghost felt bad that all this time of showing he felt the same, now that it was brought up it was gone. Not gone that he didn’t feel anything but guilt. Guilt was hitting his chest. His wife. What would she think? What would she do? Ghost sighed. “Why all the subtle hints then?” You asked look at him.

There it was. He was hoping that it wouldn’t have gotten this far. For you to confess all that. “I don’t know.”

You scoffed. “This is embarrassing,” you punched the bridge of your nose. “Well I am going to go now. I will see you inside.”

Ghost looked back down at you, watching as you looked away, started to head out. He felt bad that you were embarrassed, he hated that he made you feel that way. “She’s been dead for couple of years,” You stopped in your tracks, slowly looked over at him. “Cancer, terminal fucking cancer,” He paused scoffing, he wanted to stop talking wanting to shut up. He has told no one besides Price. Price was the only one who knew. Now you do. “It’s not that ya not amazing ‘cause you are it’s just…”

“I’m not her.” You finished half smiling. “It makes sense,” He gave you a quick confused look, he thought there was going to be a slap or yell but you were calm, happy? “You would be so anxious to leave years ago and just the last couple it’s like you never want to leave.”

Ghost looked away, shrugged, and sighed. “When you joined she was diagnosed, so getting home to her so I could spend time…it was important to me,” Ghost didn’t look at you the whole time. Looking ahead of him or to the side. “I wish I could move on, I’ve tried. She told me to, to move on and find someone. Just can’t.”

You frowned and nodded, your heart hurting for him. “I’m sorry LT.”

Ghost sighed. “Doesn’ matter anymore, kid. I just don’t want you to chase something that isn’t worth chasin’”

It was quiet for a moment, listening to the surroundings. “You would be to me but I won’t because your heart belongs to her and I won’t get in the middle of that.”

Ghost was shocked in his head. You respecting his boundaries and saying that made him respect you. Ghost nodded as he looked down at you. God he wish he could move on, your personality was similar to his lost lover. Deep down he missed the soft touches, the going out, the laughter, the warmth of someone he called home. He just couldn’t. You weren’t her. And you planned on not being her. Which he appreciated.

“Ya find someone who will want to. It’s just not me.” He said trying to sound encouraging.

You sighed and nodded. “Maybe Soap?” You smirked knowing how he would respond.

Ghost almost choked his cigarette. “Not that bloke. Let me look around before ya knee deep in mud yeah?”

You chuckled and shook your head. “No this isn’t your game to play Ghost. Besides I am a big girl you know.” You said patting his chest before heading inside.

Ghost shook his head and chuckled lowly. “‘Ight but don’t come cryin’ to me if he does somethin’ crazy.”

You put your hand on the handle of the bar. Inside you were sad not only being rejected but because Ghost was in pain that you couldn’t understand. You haven’t been through that pain yet. So you couldn’t understand but you can be there for him. “Ghost,” He locked eyes with you. “If you want to talk more about anything I am here for you.”

Ghost’s mind raced, he could just go on a couple of dates. Maybe explore this. Just his heart ached knowing that it could have been his ex-wife. The whole time he would imagine it was her, thinking about her smile and not yours. Ghost just nodded as you walked inside.

However, he can’t go chasing after ghosts yet he will always be chasing after hers.

A/N: yikes this is rushed but i recently started watching community again and this had been in my drafts for too long so i wanted to finish it

Abed knew he wasn't the best at dealing with his emotions, often turning to his favourite sitcoms and movies for help. Especially when it came to romance. He hadn't had as much experience with it as he would've liked, so when he realised he started liking you in a romantic way, he quickly became panicked. You were part of the study group, meaning if he started liking you it could potentially ruin the dynamic of the friendship. But when Annie told him you felt the same way about him, he knew exactly what to do. Except he didn't. It wasn't working the way he had planned. He'd been reenacting an age old trope; person a makes person b so jealous that they eventually confess their feelings for person a. He started off small, making sure you'd see him catching glances at some random student in the cafeteria, and zoning out as if he'd been thinking about someone else. That was half true. To make it realistic, he'd always think about you when he pretended to zone out. When someone - normally Annie, who Abed told all about his plan - would catch him staring at someone and begin to tease him about it, he noticed how quiet you would get, how you wouldn't engage in any other conversations and would even leave because you were 'late for something else'. He didn't like it. The last thing he wanted was to know he made you upset. But no one in the movies ever stopped their plan halfway. As much as he wanted to, he didn't stop his plan.

He suspected that his plan was working when you started doing the same thing he did and made him jealous. It was either that, or his plan had backfired and you thought he didn't like you so you moved on. Either way, he still felt insanely jealous of whoever you began to like- whether they were real or not. He needed you to confess to him soon. Very soon. Being so jealous as well as not being sure if he had any reason to be jealous was driving him insane, he couldn't even focus on studying. Not that much studying was happening though.

"Abed, is everything ok?" he barely even registered the question, and was not able to recognize who's voice that was.

"What?" he mumbled back, his mind still elsewhere as he spoke with the group.

"We asked if you were ok." Annie began speaking, "You seem kind of out of it today."

Troy nodded, "Yeah, you and Y/N." Abed's head perked up at the sound of your name, suddenly giving Troy his full attention, "Neither of you have laughed at anything I've said today." he said, looking quite sad.

Abed looked over to where you were sitting, the two of you meeting eyes. You looked at each other for a moment, before announcing to the group you had to leave, not knowing that Abed was following behind you. You stood in one of the more secluded halls, startled when you saw Abed next to you.

"Shit, you scared me." 

"Sorry," he said, making less eye contact than usual, "I wanted to tell you something."

You nodded, signalling for him to go on.

"I like you, Y/N." he was quick with his confession, after hiding his feelings for long he wanted to get straight to the point, "I know you like someone else, but I need you to know how I felt." as he spoke, the situation became more and more real to him. No matter how cliche the plot between the two of you was, it wasn't a cheesy rom-com movie. It was real life. And in real life, there wasn't a guaranteed requited love story. There was a chance you could reject Abed's feelings, and his friendship with you would be ruined. "I'm sorry if this makes things awkward between us," he said, a frown taking place on his lips, "You're one of my closest friends, but I couldn't keep this from you, that wouldn't be fair to you."

You watched and listened to his confession intently, seeing how genuine his expression and words were. He wasn't playing a character, or just reenacting a scene - no matter how much his confession sounded like it was taken straight out of a rom-com - it was real.

"Abed," you began, "There's no other person. I made that up." you explained, though a part of you figured that he guessed that already, "I only acted like I liked someone else because I thought you liked someone else."

He couldn't help the smile forming on his lips, "I made that up too,"

His smile was contagious, as you quickly felt your lips turning upwards into a smile as you laughed softly, "You should start making romance movies."

"I have no interest in doing that. I could but I don't think I'd find it very enjoyable." he paused, "But I appreciate the sentiment."

"Speaking of movies, would you wanna see a movie with me sometime?"

"I would like that. We can look at session times together when we're finished studying. We should also get back to the library."

You nodded, unable to stop the smile growing on your lips as you asked, "Do you wanna hold hands when we walk back or...?"

He smiled softly and held out his hand for you to hold, "I would like that."

"Cool." you took his hand.

Langue de Chat Cookie x Reader

The moonlight resided with you and your dearest tonight, a rare sight after a while of the constant sugary rains from above. The luminescent lights crept through the windows of your shared home, shining a bright light through the darkness of tonight.

In spite of the tranquil atmosphere, you were anxious— antsy about something.

Langue de Chat Cookie had yet to arrive home at his usual time. Usually, he'd come back around 7 PM, just half an hour after you'd come home, but he arrived 3 hours later, 10 PM.

“Argh, I'm so sorry, darling! Things were much busier than usual at the firm, and all the more stressful.. Of course— nothing I can't handle, but still!”

He explained to you how he had to find evidence to prove his latest client's innocence, though every piece of information given had led straight to nothing or created loopholes in every claim and detail there was. Langue described it to be the most challenging case he's ever had... not that he's had many clients in the past, though.

“Not to mention the paperwork! Please forgive me, my dear, I won't ever be late to dinner again!”

After a long back and forth tangent about how worried you were and how busy he was, you'd both calm down and soothe yourselves on the couch, the television turned on, watching trials of the past and of recent times, commenting on everything said and done in each trial—

“Oh, but isn't that against the law? Why're they letting it slide?” Langue furrows his eyes beside you, speaking in between chews.

“It is! I mean, I hear you resite every law known to cookie in your sleep, and I've totally heard you mumble that one, too.” You laugh, watching him with a smug face as he nearly chokes on his cat tongue biscuit.

“Huh— what? I do that?!”

After a good two or three trials, you figure that the tea is ready in the kitchen and you get up from the couch to get it.

“L– Langue?” You stutter, turning around quickly to see your fiancee simply following you like a puppy from the couch and to the kitchen, standing behind you with an ever-so slight and subtle pout.

“..Just waiting for the tea, of course.”

You slowly turn your head from Langue de Chat and towards the kettle, confusingly nodding to yourself before pouring the steamy water into the teacup. You and Langue watch as the water discolors and turns dark with the teabag.

After that, you're both back on that cozy couch of yours in the living room, the fireplace to your left on the wall, the television set in front of you in the other side of the room. You smile, feeling the warm steam of the tea whirling in your face. You take a sip and glance at Langue de Chat, who's as focused as ever with watching the trials. You see his squint, his furrowed and focused brows, how he sips the tea for no more than a second to not miss a single detail in the trial.

You're proud, to say the least. Langue's always strived to be a great and famous lawyer, and you can't help but be amazed with how much he's been doing for the sake of his career.

Your smile grows, but you've been staring enough that Langue's attention flickers from the TV and to you, and his face flusters a little under your gaze.

“Oh, love. Did you need something?”

Langue repositions his glasses, adjusting the frame on his face to be sure they fit right on his face, also guaranteeing that he'll look even better for you.

“Langue.”

You say. The wavering syllable of his name is enough to silence the trial, transforming the voices of the judge and the lawyers into nothing but white noise.

The room goes silent for you two, but—

“I love you.”

You still speak, and the words themselves break Langue's composure, and you earn a grumble of embarrassment from him. As he turns away, you still see hints of his blushiness.

“..I love you too.”

Langue murmurs, turning back towards the television to listen in on the trial again. You let out a small laugh, shifting closer to Langue de Chat, and resting your head on his shoulder.

Today was a long day for the both of you,

i dont think vaughn ever liked jack. i hc that hes always been skeptical about him, but more from a distance. he tries not to involve himself with jack as much as possible. he has a feeling the more he tries to learn, the MORE he'll have to try to get his best friend to stop obsessing over that guy. so he just keeps himself in the dark, focuses on work and friends.

jack will occasionally mingle around in some of the more common bars or clubs set up in helios. he likes the attention, the way everyone is trying to touch and see and hear him. the alcohol probably helps as well. usually it happens when he needs an ego boost. sometimes he'll even flirt around, if some of these dumb poor middle class helios workers have enough good looks.

so imagine vaughns surprise when jack waltzes up to him and yvette tying to have a quiet night at the bar together.

jack showed up without warning, and a crowd followed. vaughn and yvette had been trying to ignore it all and just drink, keep chatting with each other. about rhys, about work, about what movies theyd seen.

so imagine both of their surprise when jacks the one that waltzes right up to them.

he says something about how strange it is that neither of them have even attempted to get up to meet him. he asks if they hate him, of theyre against him.

vaughn is slack jawed, stunned into silence. somehow this walking nerd emoji managed to pull the attention of jack by... doing nothing?

yvette is the first to respond, her eyes wode and expression clearly surprised. of course we're not against you, she assures. she insists that they simply didn't want to bother jack, hes a very busy man after all. vaughn nods along with her.

vaughn starts assuming that yvette was the reason jack came over here- he couldnt blame the man. she was an attractive woman- and smart, and she definitely had the charisma to get far in hyperion. if vaughn could be attracted to women, he probably would have fallen fast and hard for yvette.

so, imagine his further shock when jack puts a hand on his shoulder.

he says hes gonna give vaughn the offer of a lifetime. he says he wants to take vaughn back to a room, that hes had enough mingling with the common folk and vaughn is who grabbed his attention.

now, jack is saying this with like. the full intention of killing vaughn. he wants a quick ego boost from giving some coomer dweeb the sex of his lifetime, then be done with him. he wants the ego boost of being someones best sexual encounter. this was basically a guarantee for that.

and vaughns like. freaking out mentally. whys handsome fucking jack being drawn to him?

so he downs the rest of his beer, chugging it as quick as he can. yvette hesitates stopping him. he knows denying jack this would lead to something not good, and hes sure letting this happen also wouldnt be good.

but what choice does he have?

he bites his lip as he looks at jack and says that he'll go, but that he needs to be drunker first.

and, of course, yvette asks if hes sure. and he can only shrug.

but jack seems happy by that. he buys vaughn more beer. as the accountant drinks and drinks, and once yvette leaves, jack gets vaughn to start talking. interests, hobbies, stuff like that.

the night goes on and on, and eventually jack is nearly dragging a red faced, laughing, blacked out vaughn to a private room.

and the next morning vaughn wakes up, rolled over to his side, and seems handsome jack right fucking there. and vaughn isnt dead.

and he wont die, for a long, long time.

his companion mockingbird was discovered frozen in ice in dinosaur valley, and taken by a research team in the area because ~new weird organism!~ they didnt realize that bird was still alive until it escaped one day when no one was around, so they have NO idea where it is

joseph himself wasnt discovered by the team, but killed and took over one of the rangers by dragging him under the ice in the lake. nobody is aware that he is an alien, hell they dont know theres two of them at all.

joseph and bird eventually find each other and try to figure out a way to escape without anyone knowing. unfortunately theyve both been stuck in ice for the past hundred million years and have no fucking idea whats going on, and after joseph gets caught destroying blood samples from bird, they panic and just straight up murder everyone. after that they dip and are found wandering the valley a few weeks later by explorers who are completely oblivious to what happened or what they are.

once it comes to people’s attention that an entire research team ended up dead under mysterious circumstances except for one guy, hes obviously pretty suspicious but no one can prove anything because there isnt enough evidence either way.

re: no one does it like xena. like i feel like tv show wise ofmd is like The show that ive seen that does it enough like xena that the kiss is satisfying and then the breakup is devastating and season two will drive me bonkers (positive) if it keeps the same quality. and like they end up doing that with not one couple but THREE couples and like the lucius/pete stuff is the least satisfying of the three BUT i think thats on purpose. but having a couple that just kinda happens it allows the others to have room to grow will giving something for the short attention span and unwillingness to wait that audiences have now that every show is starting to have BBC length seasons. like people were skipping to episode 4 after the show gained traction on social media skipping nearly a third of the show cause its only ten episodes… like thats nothing…

I've been with my S/O for about five months now. Both of us are uni students, we've been friends since school too. Their subjects and stream in uni are pretty taxing, theyve taken sciences and get really busy sometimes. I'm trying so hard not to be cynical but this relationship feels doomed. Sometimes they dont get time for me, and in those times I can't stop myself from thinking that their busy-ness will only increase and increase. I've told them this before, and it was yesterday when I had the thought of breaking up with them. The thing is, I don't want to end up hating them for not having time for me. I don't want to feel bitter towards them for being busy, because as much as they like me, we all need to prioritize and focus. Sometimes I end up feeling stupid for wanting to talk to them because they reply so much later. I don't want to be depressed because of them at all. I don't want them to be a reason for my sadness. So I thought maybe if we broke up now, it wouldnt hurt as much if it was much later. I like them so much. So so much. I hate that it would have to end so early, but I also dont want to prolong the agony of waiting around for them. Idk what to do.

Finding a compatible partner in life is not only about if you like them. It is just as much about aligned priorities and schedules as it is about how much you like their personality and/or sexual attraction. Quality time is a love language.

This is a pivotal point in your lives. It's not wrong for someone to want to focus on their studies right now so they can have a comfortable career, but they may not be ready to spend time on a relationship. Likewise, other people might think strengthening the bonds / relationships with other more important than a score on a test. I think you two should have a talk about this and find out what each other's present priorities are. It doesn't mean they don't like you. Maybe it's quite the opposite - they could be working hard at uni because they want to contribute to the future of the relationship.

But it is also possible that you may not be compatible in this aspect of the relationship. That might be a deal-breaker for you. It doesn't mean they or you are bad people. We all have a finite amount of time in a day and a finite amount of attention we want to give each aspect of our lives.

Likewise, there are people who are extremely invested in their relationships and will put school / work on the back burner for their loved ones. Understand how you show love and the actions that make you feel loved. Communicate these to your partner. Have them tell you the same things so you can better understand each other.

I don't know about others, but I don't like indecision in my relationships. If my partner thinks about breaking up with me (in a non-joking way ofc), then I would rather have us go our separate ways. I don't like wasting time. But maybe your problem is just miscommunication and lack of language to articulate. Also, university is not forever. Eventually you and them will become employed and (typically) you both will no longer be doing homework or studying for exams. But it all depends, because some people's jobs are 24/7 (esp if they are creative careers or self-employed). Knowing what kind of future work-life balance you want is important too.

and yes!! you get it!! It was a rivalry but what i love is that this is such a low stakes/angst show and i would argue even the rivalry is half-assed. i mean it's literally just 8 episodes of jaeyoung annoying sangwoo and sangwoo realizing he likes it and wants more of it lmao. their rivalry is rather short lived-- once they start the game and start getting to know each other, it very quickly just becomes these two guys who admire and respect each other (professionally for now, at first) and grows from there.

i love the enemies to lovers here especially because it is so light! and you're so right pointing out that the one time jaeyoung does reach a bit beyond what he should, he acknowledges, or at least the viewer sees, that he knows that was a bit too much and from there on out it's very mild and we know confidently that jaeyoung is into sangwoo-- in a healthy way, not a manipulative jerk way.

and yes!! even jaeyoung says at first that he just wants an apology. and he probably would have gotten one from literally anyone else but sangwoo. so the fact that sangwoo is 100% convinced that he was in the right and is so obvious about sparked!!! jaeyoung's interest!! and from there it becomes "oh wow this dude is different.... tell me more" and we see that while jaeyoung's love language is lowkey just annoying the object of his affections, he's very smart (!!!) and so he engages sangwoo to 1) yeah see that spark in his eye and get a reaction and have sangwoo's attention but also 2) to learn what makes sangwoo tick.

Both Sangwoo and Jaeyoung are people who need a challenge and they find that in each other. they both have to learn to work around and with each other but it's a labor of love because they want to-- so yes, i totally KNOW that their entire lives are spent always learning about each other and even after years, that spark and curiosity is still there because 1) people are constantly evolving and 2) there's always something new to learn 3) their attraction to each other is a live thing that they both feed into.

the issue arises when his dad who is also rlly into wines tries to make a casket along with vyn as a bonding activity. vyn is NOT interested cuz wow, u decided to pay attention to me only now and only when it's something you also enjoy? he MUST roll his eyes. but still, against his wishes, vyn looks forward to it. they both try to recreate this one great vintage from years ago that they both like, they slap it into the casket to age, and theyll get back to it after like 10 years

and then they never do! cuz vyn leaves! and now in the present when ANY wine gets close to the flavor that that wine was trying to recreate, it always just leaves a bad taste in his mouth...

marius does get into moderate drinking (mostly for PAX business and like, social functions etiquette and whatnot) when he returns to stellis though, and as long as it isnt whiskey, hes fine with drinking whatever alcohol

just not whiskey. he has flashbacks of the sheer BLEGH

he has his first drink when hes 21 years old. technically, drinking age in Stellis is 18 but artem was REALLY NERVOUS so he made sure to wait for the age where itd be legal anywhere in the world

and he makes it a whole Event of sorts, it's an Ordeal, it's a Serious Undertaking and please, neil, celestine, stop laughing, hes TRYIING TO EXPLAIN!!!

cuz he calls neil and celestine and tells them he needs their help on a certain day and this will all take place in his apartment and whatever happens cannot leave that premises or be told to anybody else.

neil and celestine are stupidly worried cuz he gives no further details until the day itself when artem finally explains whats actually going on

artem: in the future of my career, i can foresee that social functions involving alcohol may happen, so i need to be prepared for it but also ive never had alcohol before. if i get drunk to the point i can no longer remember things, promise you'll take note of my behavior please so i can study it later

some renga headcanons, after they've started dating:

-they don't really... tell anyone they're dating. they just kind of assume everyone knows

-and while everyone had been waiting for them to actually get together, since they were obviously crushing and pining hard on one another, they still get surprised to hear that theyve been dating now for a few months and they didn't even know??

-they're not too fond of PDA. they don't kiss much in public, but if they do, it's because langa looked at a stupid face reki was making and had to kiss him

-and that's how everyone else found out they were dating

-they're both super clingy. langa especially shortly after making up and the start of their seeing each other. he's constantly hugging, holding, and touching reki. not that reki minds much

-reki is nervous about initiating anything more intimate. he's hardly ever the one to go in for a kiss, but he absolutely loves to hold langa's hands

-langa, however, is absolutely all over reki, pressing kisses all over his head and face while holding him in his lap

-reki is nothing but a blushing mess when this happens

-it's a bit jarring for the others at first, since it's almost like they switched roles

-langa is also complimenting and reminding reki of how cool, amazing and loved he is. once again, reki is a blushing mess

-reki isn't good at accepting compliments, and gets flustered when he is, vs langa's love language of praising. who will win?

-their first date was surprisingly nothing to do with skateboarding. sure they took their boards with them, but they'd walked to get some ice cream together and had ended up holding hands

-langa is also, surprisingly(but also not surprisingly, have you watched the show?), the more jealous of the two. if reki gives anyone else even a little bit more of attention he ends up pouting like 😠

-reki can also get pretty jealous, just not as often as langa. but when he does, it's often for good reason, since langa most of the time can't even tell when other people are flirting with him

-and, of course, they love holding hands. they're more often than not holding hands, too

-i like to think they added a heart to their dap after they started dating
