On today's episode of Modern Househusbands (pffft), your faves and fatherhood:

Price - He figures he already has kids what with the way the boys (and his furbabies) constantly try his patience and make him proud at the same time so he's the Peepaw (as always) and you and Laswell are the Meemaws. As babies, they loved to pull his beard. Price also trimmed it once and it scared the grandkids (and Soap and you) so bad that he's forbidden from doing it again.

Gaz - If "It's What She Deserves" was a person, his kid would be it. The one who gives an immediate vibe-check. Such a sweetheart unless folks try them. If someone goes low with them, they go to hell. Gaz wonders where his little one gets it from (which earns him a HUGE side-eye from you). You and Gaz have had plenty of talks with teachers and you've had to tell your child to tone it down more than once. You two have also admitted in private that nine times out of ten, they're usually right on the money about these same people, too. At least you know nothing will ever get past them.

Soap - Is the girl-dad of the group. You two have three rambunctious daughters who have their dad wrapped around their fingers. Soap is the one who won't stop talking about his children. Ever. Everyone knows about them before the girls even meet them. One is also named Simone in honor of Simon. He's the dad who has no problem being the princess during tea time, wearing tutus, being on the bottom of the pyramid, having his nails painted, and gossiping with his girls. Oh, and you're all just jealous because he looks absolutely fabulous whenever they put makeup on his face. 😏

Ghost - The one-and-done dad. He has a son who's his carbon copy physically but is a jokester at heart and Simon loves it because he'd much rather his son be that than have his personality. His son absolutely loves to take the piss out of him though. You know the video of the boy laughing at his dad's accent? That's Simon's kid when he asks him to say pasta lmao. You're tickled each and every time and Simon can't help but be amused by it all.

Roach - Has the most adorable daughter who, as a baby, would only really sleep if she was on his chest. The dad who builds pillow forts in the living room for movie night. Thanks to her, he knows the entire theme song of The Backyardigans like the back of his hand. She always makes Roach promise her before every mission that when he comes home, you all will go out for ice cream.

Alex Keller - Has a pair of twins who love to hog your affection from their father, so you're in the center of this tug-of-war between Alex and the kids which makes him roll those big eyes of his. He can't help but be proud of his kids, though, because one stays getting intel and the other uses said intel to kick ass and take names. Yeah, they're pretty much unbeatable as a team. Alex's heart skips a beat every time he walks through the door and they greet him by tackle-hugging him.

Alejandro - The one who has the most kids due in part because he stays getting it in lmao. He loves his big family, though. Has both girls and boys. Alejo's kids expect him home at a decent hour and if he isn't, he's grounded. The dad who absolutely relishes in the hectic mornings because it's all the more reason for him to continue on and it grounds Alejandro the man.

Rudy - The mother hen. Has two kids, a girl and a boy, and you two ADORE them, okay? Rudy can't say no to them, especially when your daughter hits him with puppy dog eyes or your son flashes that beaming smile of his. He's also the one who wakes up at the ass-crack of dawn to make y'all's lunches because they love it when he makes cute little shapes out of the food. Is also the one who leaves cute little notes in your bags, too, especially when he knows he'll be gone overnight. Damn, aren't you glad you wifed him up? 🥹

Keegan - Has a son who he thought hated him as a baby because every time he saw him, the baby's eyes would get comically wide. Then it turned into the baby being captivated by his mask and his eyes and then it turned into him crying whenever he saw Keegan without his mask on. Now they're as thick as thieves and even still, Keegan can't help but be amazed that he has a family now.

König - Has the chonkiest of the chonks yet the baby manages to still look small in his arms. Turns him into a jungle gym as well. König is the dad who is simultaneously amazed by his kid and afraid that he's a horrible father, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. He also makes it a point to put them in extracurricular activities so they're as well-rounded as possible, especially from a social perspective. Your child also believes they'll be taller than König if only for the explicit purpose of saying they're taller than him lmao.

Horangi - The brains to König's child's brawn. The one who sees and knows everything. Or something like that. The two stay making plans and getting into shit and just being rambunctious kids. Horangi is big on establishing a strong moral foundation for his little one and isn't keen on telling them about his past life at all. Horangi demonstrates his affection more through action than anything. Might be more willing to divulge the truth when they're older but for right now, it's best left unsaid. Whereas König encourages their children's shenanigans, Horangi is more exasperated than not.

Graves - Two words: Boss Baby. His little CEO. While he's not above spoiling his kid, they've also gotta earn that one toy and/or game as well. They are charming in their own right and Graves is very hands-on as a parent, even when he's away. Especially when he's away. Makes it a point to keep his occupation hidden from them and, to your surprise, has expressed that he does NOT want them to follow in his footsteps. He's okay with being the snake if it means his child is protected.

i never posted my Atta Boy photos (hell, i barely took any in LA), but i figured closing night of their tour was as good a time as any. i had the most amazing time, and everyone was so unbelievably sweet and funny and kind. these were two of the most incredible nights of my life, and i absolutely sobbed after both shows. i love them so much.

“Lately, I've been a little fed up, wish you would just focus on me” 

Jack sang as he reached to turn the radio up as he drove to the airport to pick up Maryse from LAX. She had been doing press all over New York City going to talk show, to talk show to promote her first single, Focus from her debut album. The song has only been out for a week and a half and it’s already topping the charts and constantly playing on the radio.

With Maryse being in NY and Jack traveling to LA and ATL to record his own album. They hadn’t seen each other as much as they would’ve liked. Which is why Jack planned a special date for the two of them tonight. 

Jack decided to wait in the parking deck for her so they could have some privacy knowing the paparazzi would bother them in the pick up area. Thankfully, he didn’t have to wait long, Maryse was walking out the revolving doors, 15 minutes later. 

His heart stopped when he spotted her. She looked adorable with her blanket wrapped around her shoulders, huge dark sunglasses and her curls tossed up into a messy bun. Jack stepped out of his jeep and leaned against it, so she could see him. He watched as the smile spread across her face at the sight of him. The closer she got she dropped her suitcases and started running towards him

“Oof” Jack let out as the wind was almost knocked out of him as Maryse flew towards him. Maryse wrapped her legs around his waist and pressed her face against his neck. 

God, he missed this girl so much. The two stayed like this for what felt like forever. Maryse soon removed her face from his neck, and grabbed his face with both hands before leaning down and kissing him. Jack moaned into the kiss, while sliding his hands from her waist that was holding her steady to her ass, giving them a slight squeeze. Maryse broke the kiss with a giggle. 

“I’ve missed you so much.” 

They laughed as they both spoke at the same time. 

“C’mon let’s get outta here, I’m taking you out tonight” Jack said as he went to put her luggage in the truck before hopping in the car. 

“You are?” Maryse started bouncing in her seat with excitement. 

“Yeah, but first nap time.”

“Oh thank god, I’m so sleepy.”

Jack couldn’t help but think he hadn’t slept that good in months, might even be years. He knew it was because the woman curled up next to him. Maryse’s body fit so perfectly against him. It was like she was made to be here in his arms. 

He gently moved the curls that were falling in her face, so he could admire how peaceful she looked. He smiled at the way she slept with her legs tangled with his and one arm wrapped around his body. Jack would be content if he could stay like this forever. But knowing how long it was going to take her to get ready, she would need to get up now. 

Jack leaned down and pressed feather light kisses on her face. He watched as Maryse slowly opened her eyes and stared into his blue eyes. “Well, that’s not a bad way to wake up.” Her voice was slow and dragging as she tried to not fall back asleep. “What time is our date?” 

“In 3 hours.”

Maryse’s eyes shot back open. “3 HOURS?! Jack, do you not know me at all? I have to get ready now!”

Jack tightened his arms around her to stop her from getting up. She tried to pull away but soon gave up with a pout. He leaned over and kissed her pouting lips before letting her go. 

He watched with a smile as she rolled outta bed to find something to wear.

“I can’t believe you got me blindfolded. Is this the part where you kill me?”

Jack laughed and rolled his eyes as he continued to walk her up the steps to where they were having their date. He really hoped she loved this because trying to set it up was difficult.

“You didn’t reply, oh god”

“Will you stop being so dramatic? Now be careful this is the last step then I can take this off you” 

Maryse stayed silent as Jack carefully walked her to the last set of steps. She could then feel him walk behind her, and rubbed his hands up and down her arm before reaching up to untie the cloth from her eyes. “Ok, open your eyes.”

Maryse slowly opened her eyes and blinked a little to adjust to the light. She gasped as she looked around her. 

“Jack…” Maryse was sure she looked crazy as her mouth hung open. She just couldn’t believe what she was seeing. 

“Like it?” Jack asked her nervously. 

She shook her head. “No…I love this” she could feel her eyes start to water. 

Jack Harlow rented out the whole Getty Museum just for the two of them, but that wasn’t all there were lights on the floor making a pathway to a table set for 2. It was the most beautiful thing Maryse had ever seen. She slowly turned around and wrapped her arms around him. “Jack, I can’t believe you did this! I can’t imagine how long it took you to pull this off!” Standing on her tippy toes to kiss him. 

“Last week you talked about wanting to show me around LA since I’m usually only here for work and you offhandedly mentioned that you visit the Getty whenever you’re here because you love art museums so I figured I would do something special for our first date.” Jack told her as he rested both of his hands on the sides of her face and used his thumbs to wipe away the tears. 

“You remembered that?” Maryse asked him

“Of course, I remember everything you tell me. Big or small.” Jack replied before walking her towards the table, and pulling her seat out so she could sit down. He kissed her forehead before walking around to his side of the table. 

She watched as he pulled the tops covering their plates off. Maryse was shocked to see a full course meal, Salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. It looked delicious.

Maryse just shook her head in amazement. She could feel herself getting emotional. She was with Nate for years and he never put this much thought and detail into a date before. 

Jack reached across the table and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. “Stop looking so shocked, you deserve this and more. Now let’s dig in!”

As they ate they talked about everything under the sun, their laughs and conversations echoed throughout the quiet museum. 

“Thank you again for those flowers you sent me last week, they were beautiful.” Maryse said to Jack as they were lying on the floor of the museum. Apparently they didn’t have to be out till 3 am so Jack brought blankets and pillows so they could chill until they felt like leaving. 

“Beautiful flowers for my even more beautiful girl.” Jack replied as he looked down at Maryse as she was laying in his arms. He watched as Maryse wrinkled her nose up at him, knowing she was going to call him out for being cheesy.

“You’re a cornball”

“You love it!” Jack says before kissing her forehead. “But for real though, I’m so proud of you. I know how hard you’ve been working on your album. You haven’t mentioned it, but I can tell you’re nervous about your album coming out but you shouldn’t be. Focus is already a hit, and your album is going to be a game changer.” 

Maryse squeezed Jack letting him know she heard him, before climbing on top of him and pressing her face against his neck. She could feel Jack arms wrap her waist, before moving his hands down and casually resting them right above her ass. Lifting her head up, she leaned down putting their foreheads together.

Jack could see the emotions on her face and simply kissed her lips, assuring her, “You don’t have to say anything.”

Pulling away from the kiss, Maryse spoke in a whisper “You always know all the right things to say.”

“It’s probably a fluke. I think I just say the right things to you.” 

Maryse shook her head in disagreement, knowing that wasn’t true and laid her head back down on his chest. It was quiet for a while, the only thing you could hear were their steady heartbeats. Maryse didn’t know it was possible for someone to make her feel the way Jack did. With Jack, she always felt fully cared for. Maybe it was too soon to call this love, but if it was, she completely understood why people go crazy for it. She felt like she was drunk on him. 

Maryse’s thoughts were cut short when she felt Jack move his hands up under her dress trying to cop a feel. With her head resting against his chest she could feel a groan rumble in his chest when he noticed she wasn’t wearing any underwear.

“Fuck, Maryse.”

Maryse said nothing as she moved her hips against his, teasing him slightly. She could feel him throbbing in his pants. Not being able to take the teasing any longer, Jack connected his lips to hers with another groan. The sounds of their kisses as they grasped one another were heard in the dim museum. They pulled away from each other long enough so they could pull Jack’s shirt over his head, and so he could unzip his slacks and briefs. 

Once all his clothes were off, Jack bunched up her dress around her waist, while Maryse pushed herself up on her knees. Jack could feel her hand grab hold of his thick length steady as she sunk down on him.

“Fuck, baby, you feel so damn good” Jack said in a breathly tone. 

All Maryse could do was whimper in response as she gripped his shoulders as she continued to ride him. Jack sat her up in his arms and started attacking her neck with kisses and bites. Sucking along her skin just the way she likes.

The connection Jack had with Maryse was nothing like he had ever felt before. His attraction to her felt off the charts. 

He hummed against her skin each time she dropped down into his lap and took him completely. Jack knew they were both getting closer with each buck of her hips. “You take me so well. You were made for this, Maryse.” Jack whispered in her ear

Maryse shivered against him as his hands ran down the length of her back, giving her ass a tight squeeze. 

“Such a naughty girl, riding me in this museum.” Jack could feel her clench him tight. 

She was getting close with the way her breathing was becoming more ragged and the grip she had on him tightened. 

Jack quickly flipped them over and pounded into her hard, making Maryse whimper. He was so close as he pressed kisses against her shoulder. “C’mon baby, cum for me.”

“Jack, please.” Maryse moaned. 

“You can do it, baby. Let go.”

The only sounds in the museum were grunts of pleasure as Maryse came, Jack came right behind her. Maryse felt like her senses were on fire, with the way the warmth of his skin engulfed her. 

Maryse let out a small sigh of happiness as Jack laid on top of her, chest rising and falling as he tried to catch his breath. They both were in a happy daze for the rest of the night, silently hoping nothing or no one would ruin their happiness.

Maryse Monet is finally ready to release her debut album!

In a two bedroom Brooklyn Heights brownstone, R&B star Maryse Monet paces around the living room barefoot, in drawstring shorts and an oversized Missionary Jack tee (Stolen from boyfriend, rapper Jack Harlow) her natural hair in full bloom, while members of her glam team prepare her look for her upcoming appearance on Good Morning America. In three hours, the singer-songwriter was going to announce the title of her debut album; “Ugh, those feels again.” (Dropping March 31st)

Having dropped the lead single, “Focus” the night before which was getting rave reviews from music critics, she still feels anxiety with dropping music. 

“Dropping music, to me at least, is like letting the whole world read my diary.” She says. When asked if she ever regrets any music she’s dropped she tells me no. 

“No, never. Letting people hear it is a risk, but I believe putting music out into the world is a great teacher to help all my future projects sound better.” 

The doorbell rings loudly throughout the house. I watch as the singer leans over the arm of the chair to try and see who’s at the door. Her eyes widen when her manager, CoCo walks into the room holding a bouquet of Peonies. Maryse immediately grabs for them, smelling the flowers. The smile on her face only gets wider as she reads the card. When I ask who the flowers are from there’s a twinkle in her eyes when she tells me they’re from her boyfriend and doesn’t explain further. 

The last year has been some sort of Maryse explosion where she went from just being New York’s star quarterback girlfriend to breaking away and becoming a Grammy award winning singer. At 24 years old, Maryse is already a household name. “I’ve really put in the time and work,” she says. “I’m so happy that everything has been, you know, manifesting.”

Growing up with a dad who played guitar and a mother who was a music teacher, Maryse can’t remember a time where music wasn’t part of her life. “Music was playing around the house but I think something outwardly happened when I heard Mariah Carey sing for the first time. I remember getting the craziest chills and goosebumps and I was like, “what is she doing? I want to sing just like that?” I always tell people that music was my first love.”

She then asked me if I wanted to hear her new music. I can feel the tingling excitement build as we sneak away into her home recording studio. As she takes her laptop and plugs it in, she tells me she’ll probably only be about to get through two songs before someone realizes she’s gone missing. Quietly, the r&b star hits play on her upcoming album. 

Instantly, a wall of sound hits me. There’s only two reactions you could have to the song. One; saying “Whoooo” and/or Two; fanning themselves vigorously. I was doing both. Her voice was dreamy and hushed, with the song being sultry and slow. This was the type of love song you play to the person who might just last till cuffing season. The one you play with your head stuck out the window as the wind blows in your hair. Maryse was able to play a couple more songs before she was summoned into hair and makeup.

The making of the album has been a long process, she explains, as her hairstylist tries to tame her curls. She started writing the album after returning to dating following the end of a long term and very public relationship.

When we reached out to Maryse's equally famous best friend, Doja Cat, she says the world is finally going to know the real Maryse Monet.

“Everyone knows that she's an amazing musician, but they'll also find out that she’s a real ass bitch, who’s music is going to bring people together and change lives.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Franky/Brook Propaganda

I've been hopelessly obsessed with Superbones for half a year now. While I initially shipped them as a joke, as I continued reading One Piece I soon realised they have a lot of untapped potential.

So if you're willing to hear me out, here's why I think Franky and Brook are indisputably gay. Source: trust me.

Franky and Brook are able to understand each other on a level that no other Straw Hat can, as they both know what it's like to be robbed of what made them “human”. They lack flesh and the ability to feel physical touch to some extent.

Additionally, they both have first-hand experience with death and the loneliness that comes with it. Franky spent 4 years in hiding, while Brook was isolated for 50.

Being the resident freaks of the Straw Hats, they know what it's like to have people be unnerved (or amazed) by their looks and abilities. I consider them to be a part of what I like to call the “true monster trio” with Chopper. Monster dads and monster son.

Franky is able to quench Brook's unsavoury desires. Being a proud “pervert”, he willingly shows off his panties and tits 24/7 without even needing to be asked.

Both of them have musical talent and could write sappy love songs to each other.

In an updated SBS question, when Oda was asked where Jinbe would fit if the Straw Hats were a family, Franky's role was changed from “father” to “perverted grandma”, with Brook being the “perverted grandpa”. They're married.

I believe the reason Franky told Brook he would be “cast aside for being different” back in Thriller Bark was to warn him, considering his experience on Water 7. Though his first interactions with Brook may seem harsh, Franky's shown to quickly respect him after hearing his promise with Laboon, and even considers him a bigger man than he is.

Franky spends an unnecessarily long time carrying Brook in Thriller Bark.

During Franky's fight with Señor Pink, they both agree that flings with immature women are sickening. You know who has tons of experience? Brook.

When Franky asks Robin if she wants to take the backseat of his motorbike, Brook assumes this flirting is directed at him. In his own words, “there's nothing wrong with some good male bonding.” And if that isn't gay, I'm neurotypical.

They could both comfortably hug each other despite having hard bodies.

saw kfp 4 tonight (it was 🙈) but mr. ping and li were really cute in it, and it made me think of lilia and the knight of dawn acting like them with silver the way they do with Po

maybe the KoD somehow travels through time and ends up stuck with the diasofam while they try and figure out a way to send him back. its understandably pretty awkward between him and lilia at first, considering their past. but there's also the matter of silver suddenly having another dad now, and lilia gets a liiiitle snooty about it dsjhfskjd

every chance he gets, lilia joyfully calls silver "my son", but each time the KoD pops up right behind him and smiles sweetly and says, "you mean our son!" and anytime lilia introduces himself as silver's father, there's the KoD materializing behind him with this huge smile on his face and he says "and I'm his other father!!" and lilia just gets more and more pissed off at the guy skjdhkjsdf

but the KoD never fails to be amicable, and after a while they make peace with each other. one day lilia pulls out these massive photo albums filled with pictures of silver growing up and goes through them with the KoD, helping him learn more about the son he never got to know. and in the end they're both so proud and happy to call themselves silver's dads 🥹

ugh, me too. i refuse to believe the vanserra family is that fucked up to where they never got along and they all dislike each other. i know beron has been pitting them against each other for literally centuries smh.

So, in my fictional universe, the order of the brothers is as follows: Eris, Pyrolas (Pyro), Conleth (aka Connie 🥹), Oakland (Oak), Finch & Foxe (twins, both deceased), and Lucien.

We know Eris. We love Eris.

Pyro, man what a hot head. We've discovered a little bit about him through You Know I Always Liked Playing with Fire. He's messy. Second born, second best. Never enough to live up to his older brother. Beron has pitted them against each other for the longest time. Deep down, Pyro really just wants someone to be proud of him. But he's a little twisted because he's never had love and all he's seen is the piss poor excuse of a father treating his mom like shit. Except for when he found out about Lucien and his partner. There was a flicker of guilt as he watched the twins pin Lu down while his lover perished before them all. He's so incredibly hurt that he takes it out on others, on his brothers, parents, people of the court, his partners. He wants someone to hurt as much as he hurts. He's a master at the art of façade. No one knows that he wants love because he's so good at pretending he doesn't need it and pushing people away.

Connie, my baby. Ngl I had him as deceased for a bit until that anon reminded me that he was alive. so here he is, im introducing him. Conleth is third born, middle of the pack. he's pretty docile compared to pyro, but he really does enjoy the simple of things in life. he's second mommy's boy, coming after the biggest mommy's boy of all, eris. he's lethal with a bow but those skilled hands are good at many things, like in the bedroom or in the kitchen. he can make a mean pie. i'm feeling as i write this that he's just like us and has a MAD crush on cass and az, have you seen those wings? those powerful bodies? cuz connie dreams of it (he's just like me fr). he keeping it much on the down low because of daddy Ber.

Oakland, love him. Oak is the rational one. He appears in The Autumn Chill, and he's the one that none of the brothers can ever stay mad at. He's the mediator, the strategist. He sees everything and anything and is ever-calculating. Everyone adores him, he's so sweet, but can also put on a show when he needs to, just as all of them can. In Creepy Campfire, we see his playful side, joining in on his brothers jokes because he likes it when his brothers are happy. He wants a better world for his court even though he knows that berons power probably won't fall to him after he dies, he'll stick by the brother that does and off him his intelligence.

Then there's Finch and Foxe. I can see them being like night and day or super fucking similar. cliche to say night and day, i know, but what if they were fire and wind? Foxe gives more bad boy than Finch (who will do whatever his twin asks of him) and they're trouble makers through and through. Foxe is fire while Finch is wind (appropriately named). Where Foxe sets a blazing fire Finch is there to add fuel to the flames. They back each other and aren't worried for title of heir to the throne because they know it won't happen for some time, they'll discuss it when the time nears, if it should happen. both playboys, and i bet they've even shared women between the both of them too. they give that vibe, as strange as it sounds. But, they are no longer, killed off by Lucien and Tam in the books and also in Safe Haven. They held down Lu while Beron killed his lover and they found sick delight in watching, in having a hand in it. They're both twisted as hell tbh.

And of course, Lucien. We know him and we love him too.

so yeah, i guess this is how i'd view them in my personal world 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

Thoughts on Episode 4 of Masquerade

Can you still believe that this is not the last part yet? I can't.

In general, I absolutely love that this part really makes the characters shine, especially the SSR characters.

Epel gets to protect Riddle using his UM!! Riddle makes himself the bait at first but eventually he gets affected by the flowers, so Epel protects him. It just makes me so proud of how far Epel had come from the start of the game. We can discuss and argue about the semantics of Epel having a UM during Halloween when he got it around Feb-March (when chapter 6 is supposedly set), but honestly, it doesn't really matter to me when we get to see this kind of growth from him. 🥹

Riddle willing to sacrifice himself 🥺 he's truly such a noble character. He also mentions how the Queen of Hearts would march into battle. An allusion to the live action Alice in Wonderland? :0

Ruggie and Jamil are the bastards as always. They use their UMs to make the NBC students as bait, and I think that's pretty funny of them. Go boys, do what you need to do.

Actually, I'm pretty surprised that they're all using their UMs when the flowers would absorb their magic. UMs use up a lot of power too, I'd think that that would be such a risky move.

Deuce protecting Idia from the falling chandelier!! That part made me feel so proud of him. He got a twisted ankle from it, though. 😭 It also kind of mirrors how Meg pushed Hercules away from the falling pillar in the Hercules movie and ended up dead. So, Meg!Deuce??????

Can't leave this post without mentioning that brief cut to Ace going, "Man, everyone must be having a great time in NBC." then going back to Deuce aggressively weeding out plants.

Rook meanwhile... I love how he can be himself despite everything. 🥺 Idia volunteered to stay with Deuce just so he'd stop running, but Rook interprets that as him being grateful to Deuce for saving him. And then he even makes Deuce say 'oui'............ the rookification of Deuce Spade...................

Sebek, though! Thank him for actually calling out Idia's complaining. Idia complains about how he wasn't left behind, but Sebek yells at him for it since it's like he's sullying Deuce's efforts to save him. Which is fair honestly, I think I would have been the same in Sebek's place. 😂

And Silver! I love how he managed to protect Azul, and I also love how he was the one who calms everyone down. We stan a chill guy like Silver.

And the way that he and Sebek fight the flowers!! Both of them really just teamed up and went, "There's nothing we can lose to when we fight together." Like girl 😭 SebeSil stans got fucking fed this event, congratulations. They were even protecting each other, with Sebek going, "Silver behind you!" and Silver going, "Sebek, to your right!" Like bro 🥺 And the way that they both made it a competition to see who can take out the most flowers!!! I swear, they may act mature (kind of), but they are Boys at heart. They just have a little rivalry........

Now onto the three SSR characters because save the best for last.

I will proceed to be annoying for the next 5 bullet points.

First off, I just love how Azul's not afraid to call out on Idia's bullshit. 😂 "Please give up on giving up" and even making him move to the back of the line when it was just the three of them so that Idia actually does shit. I love how he has that bluntness, but it does come with the friendship too.

And secondly, the moment that I am still down bad for: Azul getting rid of the flowers without damaging the tower.

Fucking bear with me here: none of the other characters attempted to destroy the flowers because they would absorb their magic. It would take so much magical power to make them wither, and the only other person who was able to get rid of them was Malleus. And we already know how terrifyingly powerful Malleus is. And even then, that caused his power to get wiped out (makes you also wonder just how much flowers within the vicinity he was able to take out).

But then Azul was able to do it. He was able to do it guys, he did it.

What's more is that he did it without destroying any of the architecture. It takes a great amount of power to take out the flowers, and that could definitely damage the tower. In chapter 6, it was seen that his magic is very precise. And you really get to see this here, because Azul concentrated his magic on the flowers and ensured that it wouldn't touch any of the walls of the tower. So effectively, he was able to get rid of the flowers without compromising Idia's and Malleus' safety (and preventing them from paying NBC for damages lmao).

What I would even love to add to this is that when the flowers surrounded them at first, Malleus volunteered to take them out, but Azul stopped him so that he could conserve his energy. And he says he'd take it out, but then Idia tells him to just let Malleus do it. That caused Azul to yell at him to shut up and let him concentrate, but think right here: Can you imagine how much his ego probably got hurt because of that comment? Like, everyone is very well aware that the strongest person with them is Malleus, so of course you'd want him to do the biggest work. But imagine just hearing that over and over and having someone say the equivalent of "let him do it because he's the only one capable of doing it". That shit definitely would hurt his pride, and Azul just... proved it in front of the two of them that he was capable of taking out the flowers with his own magic.

And he got praised by the Malleus Draconia. Please, I'm so happy for him, you don't understand.

As for Idia, him being a bitch is understandably annoying, but it's also funny and a mood. There's so much to say here about him.

First of all, you really get to see his genius shine. When he was tasked with taking care of the flowers, he uses the handkerchiefs he bought to be bait for the flowers. They held a tiny bit of magic, but the thing is, Idia tinkered with them while he was drinking his grape juice earlier, so the handkerchiefs are now much stronger and contain more magic.

But more than that, when they read Rollo's diary, Idia went really silent. And it reached a point where Azul had to tell him that no matter what, Rollo is still their enemy. Like... poor guy. Whatever was in Rollo's diary impacted him so much. It's such a sharp juxtaposition from how self-centered he was the entire event. Suddenly, he's empathetic to the point that he couldn't say anything.

... though on that note, Rollo leaving his diary in the student board room of all places is pretty funny.

Anyway, onto Malleus. I really think he did so much this part.

Absolutely love how when Silver said "look at Malleus, be calm like him", he immediately says that he's thinking of how to make Rollo feel terrible for falsely inviting him. 😂 Go Malleus, beat his ass for wronging you like that. I fully support.

When he froze from the talking gargoyle!! That. Was so cute. Like, I was smiling a lot when the gargoyle was poking him 😭 and then Malleus just suddenly unfroze and then formally introduced himself. He looked so so happy, and that had to be the most adorable thing. 🥺 And he wanted to save the gargoyle when the flowers started growing around them... I felt so bad for him in that moment because he couldn't save someone dear to him.

You know, I really like that he couldn't save the gargoyle in that moment. I think one of my favorite things about how Malleus was written in this event is that we really see just how much people look up to him. They see him as this super powerful mage who should be the one to solve the problem at the end of the day. And Malleus is very well aware of his power and of how people perceive him. He takes it all in, and he expects himself to do the job done. That's why when it came to taking out the flowers, he was the first to volunteer.

Even in the entire game, Malleus was always looked up for being powerful. But here, it's not the case. He had his power drained to the point that he couldn't fly. We actually see Silver and Sebek being able to do their jobs as guards. And we see him having to rely on the others so that he could make it to the tower. When he was going to go to save the gargoyle, he had to be stopped by Azul and Idia because he needed to conserve his energy. And now, if he wants the gargoyle to be alright, he has to rely on the bell of salvation.

I kind of wonder how he feels about this. But it's also a pretty neat change of pace from the usual 'Malleus is all powerful' narrative. And it shows something more relatable about him. I don't know, I admit that I'm rambling, but yeah. I like Malleus' writing in this event, I'm really glad for it.

Then Aegon wiped her tears and assuring her that it’s none of her fault, she is the best mother who tried everything to save their children, haera and maely misses her a lot, they’d love to spend time with their mother.

Aegon saying sorry to her because he failed to protect them and he couldn’t even get revenge for Jaehaerys and now he’s nothing but useless with his injured body then helaena telling him that she’s proud of him, she removed the mask from his burnt face and softly kisses him.

They both promised each other that they’d try to do better for their children, they’d do everything to protect them. They could feel that the world around them is already shattered but they chose to ignore it and spent the time in each others arm ]

she caught them all from her encounters as a trainer but for me personally i like to think jaide's actual token pet is to.gepi (she affectionately nicknamed pipino) she only had him recently from an interesting incident :3c she doesn't want to let him battle because she babies him a bit too much 🥺🥺💚

• galla.de (remy) - her partner pokemon! gallade tends to drags her out of danger because shes too reckless 🔥 also funne contrast to jaide stone having a garde.voir 🔥🔥

• blazik.en (chuy) - big shoutout to my friend who big brain'd on this - anyway, kid!red got a torchi.c for kid!jaide before she left for joht.o. a parting gift for her :3

• leafeo.n (vivi) - i dont have much input, but another contrast to jaide stone who has a gla.ceon :3

• ma.ntine - caught in her alol.a trip. the funniest thought I ever had with this is jaide going waterskiing with man.tine pulling her and she's zooming by so quickly and it scares the hell out of red and blue who's just chillin with lap.ras and gya.rados respectively 😭😭😭

• reuni.clus - i only considered adding this one recently so i dont have much input yet! it also looks like a pkmn jaide would have.... i mean look at the face! (i plan to catch one in my new bw2 save hehe)

extra bit - jaide has... A LOT of 'mons, so this is only one set for sure 😭 she could have several sets of teams because shes a catcher and has been to nearly every region at this point! a few pokemons i'd like to mention however are: cin.derace, decidueye, hatenna and sw.ampert 🥹💚

holy shit. its the funniest thing istg.

so blue, blue was the guy who managed to bring everyone together after being away from each other for too long. all he wanted was to be with his best buds and thats all. however him slowly getting the hints that red and jaide MMMIIIGHT BE INTO EACH OTHER IS A BIG WHAT THE HELL MOMENT FOR HIM bro wanted reunite with his childhood best friends but childhood best friends are now having MATCHING BRACELETS WHAT ABOUT ME GUYS 🥲🥲🥲 AKDLFKFJS part of him thought this was complete bs because red willingly put himself in mt. silver for years and suddenly he's gonna get a girlfriend before him?!?!?? what!!!!! dude said i pulled a bad bitch by being au- /JJJ

but despite the initial shock i think part of blue is really proud of red because blue knows how socially awkward he is and he's not the best with people - so seeing him at least be with someone he can fully trust and be in love with is certainly a development that he hopes nothing but the best for. i think blue would try his best to help red out too! blue is quite fashionable, can totally see him helping red find a nice outfit for their casual stroll date :D

as for jaide, i think jaide would just constantly send or tell stuff to blue about how cute red is 😭 shes not immune to being so gushy abt her big bf 💔💔 will probably send pics of red sleeping on her lap and shes fuckign crying on pokemessenger or whatever the hell JALSKSJDJJSKA over all blue says yes i approve ☝️

methinks professor oa.k (who had been with the trio since they were little) is proud. he has quite literally watched these kids grow since they were preteens and seeing where they are today is just infinitely outstanding to him! they're both very smart and strong in their own fields (she's a pro catcher and he's the living legend) and they're still a young couple. lots of potential in those two for sure!

youve unleashed the beast... mcd travcinda is so crazy they are PARALLELS!! Travis is half-demon/warlock and half-human, Lucinda is half-witch and half-human, Travis feels shame for his magical side while Lucinda is proud of it, Lucinda didn't understand him for it at first but they still worked together on magic and got closer by the end of season 2, they're so. they match each others energy but they can also talk about their common problems, they've both got issues with their parents and they worked alone before meeting Aphmau and friends, they're both extremely selfless!! their purpose is saving others!! Travis protected a village that didn't appreciate him for his whole life and Lucinda's life goal is to be a witch who helps others despite the prejudices against witchcraft!! they could've just walked away from the world forever but they chose love and kindness...

unfortunatelyyyy the sexual harassment humor colors a lot of their interactions but. what's new in aphmau rp land. that part isn't cute, but it is sillay that Lucinda will flirt back, and she develops a crush on him because she's into freaky people I GUESS???? they should be mutually obsessed with each other and heal and embrace being weirdos together. i think they are so wonderful. not to mention them both probably having a long lifespan, i like to think in the far future of MCD they'll stay connected by the crazy adventure they had and the memories of their old friends, they can always come back to each other 🥹 like to me Lucinda is an eternal wanderer and Travis finds peace being far away from the people but the way they connect to each other is like. they're not alone in the world anymore and no matter how far they are or how long they can be apart they'll still find their way together again

(same anon abt akio/yukiko + baby zorua, hope tumblr doesn't chop the ask) i read more abt them + ask u answered abt them being parents and adding: 1) yukiko maybe hung on to her dad's comments about her using innocent pkmn in her schemes so even tho baby zorua would be 'useful' to their act, she maybe did genuinely want to take it in?

or 2) she came across zorua and neutrally/curiously brought it with her and akio is confused bc 'why?' 'why not. it will perish in the cold' '????' and it's 'ok we will just keep it till the parents come back' to 'oops i guess we're the parents now' situation

3) alt idea: yuki is confused why akio is against it at first but he just hasn't talked abt his past with humans with her yet, can't help but be reminded of himself and that makes him sad/mad (opportunity for them to grow closer), yuki is observant enough to see that despite this, he has a real gentleness for baby zorua (also, probably in the end they don't want their kid helping out in their luring but the kid is excited oops)

Wahh anon u really put a lot of thought into this!!?

1) yukiko hated her dad for being controlling, but his words doesn't really bother her, using innocent pokemon is not an issue because other pokemon typically leave her alone and she doesn't want them to mess up her plans, akio is the only one crazy enough to suggest cooperating with her luring humans lol (and actually able to pull it off)

2) this is such a cute idea!! i think this could happen, she'd try to search for its parents first, failing that she'd take care of it until its parents come (but they never come oof)

3) ohoho 👀 this is such a good scenario and you got both their personalities right 👀👀 gosh this is such a great opportunity for them to get to know each other more... 💖

Also, even though akio doesn't want to put baby zorua in possible danger and yukiko doesn't want to use innocent pokemon, it would be kinda sweet if the zorua really likes them and tries hard to help them 🥹 make mom and dad proud (which would touch their hearts but also make them feel conflicted lol)

Other scenarios, my friend suggested they found an abandoned egg and before they could do anything it hatched and the zorua imprinted on them oops (ngl i kinda like this because it's the funniest 🤣)
