If any hero found annoying your behaviour as their assigned companion on a mission, he'd try to negotiate exchanging partners because he " tolerates you better ". He only wants to spend more time with you.

Something similar to Aizawa, no matter your position in society — villain, hero, etc. — there's no much of a problem.

It'd just be a time matter wether he meets you sooner.

As you'd see, he's kinda silly himself, but does everything to do the best for everyone when it's important so he'd ask to you to do the same.

As there's times to joke, there's time to get serious and help.

How is it that the so called " playboy " or " traitor ", one way or another, just asked to see you ? of all people ?

Conferences, fights, ( flights depending on your quirk ), your noticeable energy and qualities would make him fall on his knees for you.

Even if your moody side would be difficult to attend sometimes, he'd learn to care for it as well, " It's a trait of yours, 'course I'd like it too !". He'd say if you ever got insecure about it.

This, was for starters, what made him want to look out for you.

The first meeting must have gone funny I bet.

He 'd feel, at first, some kind of resentment towards you. Because maybe you were doing something a lil' illegal or were simply not wearing the school's uniform as it should be.

Whatever the occasion, he'd not be interest in someone who's not passionate at following the law.

Peppino: Might do a tiny giggle or full on cackles. I don't see him happy enough, so I feel like he has a good sense of humor. (He's both hehehehehe and GAHAHAHAHAAAAA). Sometimes wheeze if you make him laugh hard enough.

Gustavo: Definitely chuckles. I feel like he has a jolly, goofy laugh. Probably laughs at silly little things. Tries to make Peppino laugh a lot. Brick makes him laugh quite a bit. (Huh huh huh huh huh!)

Mr. Stick: Definitely has a nasally cartoony laugh like he has in game. Has a broken sense of humor. Probably laughs at the funnies or cheesy jokes. (Nyeh heh heh heh!)

Pepperman: LOUD and obnoxious. I really like the laugh the v/a did in temorinki's video. Like Mr. Stick, he has a terrible sense of humor. Really likes Garfield comics, thinks they're hilarious. (HAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA!!!!)

The Vigilante: Old man laugh, you can still hear his accent through it. He doesn't laugh much, he's a super serious guy. Imagine an older, slower, western Seth Rogan laugh. (Gyeh heh heh heh!)

The Noise: Has many laughs. His true, authentic laugh is a bit nasally and interrupted by sudden gasps for air (HAHA *inhale* HAHAHAHA *inhale*). He might snicker or laugh through his nose. He might even full blown cackle. (KAA HA HA HAA HAA HAAAAA).

Noisette: Also has a couple laughs. She giggles more and will snort if you make her laugh hard enough (she gets super embarrassed about it). She also has a loud cackle when she finds something hysterical. (Hehehehehe *snort* hehehe! or HAAAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAAAA!)

Fake Peppino: His laugh isn't much of a laugh and more of sounds. The sounds he makes while laughing are more similar to the noises he makes in game but shorter. (Hmm! Hmmmm! Hmmmm! or GHAHSGHEJSJSA!)

Pizzaface: His is basically just the in game, maybe a few different pitches up when something is REALLY funny.

Pizzahead: Giggles or cackles. Loves laughing at people's misfortune, thinks Peppino's misery is HILARIOUS. His laugh is basically the one he has in game. (HA HA HA HA HA! or Tee he he he he!)

Pillar John: DEEP and throaty laughter. Very jolly guy. His laugh is loud enough to cause an earthquake. Also has a very monkey-like laugh like the one he has in game. (GAHAHAHAHA!! or OHH HOO HOO HOO)

Gerome: Doesn't laugh much, but his laugh is kind of like John's; deep and jolly. He might give a small "heh..." here and there, but when he laughs, he laughs HARD. (GAAAAHAAAAAHAAAHAAAA!!!)

First post for my sweet baseball boy, let's fuckin GOOOOO so excited for Shinada time bb. All the tasty deets down below, happy new year sweet anon!

To put it bluntly, Shinada is pure of heart and dumb of ass. Man's got a heart of gold and a puppy dog type of love but boy is he oblivious. You could flirt openly with him and he'd be like "Haha, funny joke!". It's actually because he's too nice to assume someone is into him, although he is also just kind of a little stupid sometimes.

Not great at hiding the fact he has a crush. Blushes like no tomorrow when complimented and has a totally cutesy vibe around you if he's into you. It's easy to chalk it up to his silly and easy going attitude, but honestly he's playing up the goofiness to cover up the fact that he has no fucking clue how to tell you how he feels.

Shinada is aware that his current work/living situation isn't exactly ideal relationship material. Hell, it isn't ideal even for him by himself! He's too hard on himself in many ways but romance is definitely a category where he just counts himself out of the list of potential guys someone like you would date.

Having said that, you cannot fathom his surprise if you were to confess to him. He'd probably just blurt out a shocked laugh or try to brush it off as some weird new joke of yours before realizing this shit is really happening in real life in real time. After that, he's just like "Now what?! I never thought I'd get this far??"

If you don't confess first, he will eventually reach a boiling point and just say it himself, likely blurting it out in the most unplanned way possible and probably after a couple of drinks to give him courage. Despite the fact that it's super sudden, he IS unusually serious and sincere about it.

Dates are pretty casual for Shinada since his budget is pretty small. He likes just getting a meal or drinks with you, something casual where he can spend most of the time talking with you. Although he can have a clumsy vibe to him, he's actually a pretty good conversationalist and loves getting to know you.

Fond of just holding hands and taking walks. He'll be much more affectionate in private though. He's a total cuddlebug. Would fall asleep just holding you every single day if he had it his way.

Pretty shy about inviting you over to spend the night since his place is super cramped and if he's honest he's not always the tidiest man on earth. Will go through extra effort to clean and stock the fridge with food you like if he knows you're coming over ahead of time.

In bed, Shinada is a verse but he tends to lean more towards being a power bottom than anything else. Not particularly kinky, the occasional hair pulling is fun but he's not into getting whipped or spanked. He's too much of a sweetheart golden retriver type of guy to hit you during sex either, he'll just get nervous and embarassed.

this is a story about a boy named ryan, finally facing the crimes of his father. for so long he idolized his father, saw him as perfection, but slowly that image will unravel. along the way, he'll unravel himself, as well. can ryan ever forgive himself? can ryan ever be a good person? can ryan be a good brother? can ryan be a good lover? let's find out!

note: this is a multi-fandom fic, where characters will be from and travel to various movies/shows/games. the main characters are undertale aus/headcanons; ryan himself and his brother are sans and papyrus aus respectively, and their father is gaster. they're not meant to be entirely accurate (i mean, for one, it's unlikely that canon sans and papyrus are fallen humans at all.), they've always just been my own interpretations of the characters. with heavy projection. with that in mind, i should also state that this has been in the works since 2015-2016 or so, so it's pretty self-indulgent and cringe but i like it that way!!! i've projected too heavily onto this and i'm constantly brainrotting it so i can't just abandon it!!!

I do remember talking about shipping as activism a while back, though it's important to keep in mind I'm not from the USA, nor from any English speaking country, I just spend an egregious amount of time in English speaking communities haha

But yeah, I've noticed this trend where some subsections of the fandom will get super attached to their HCs / interpretations and actively preach about it like it's their god-given duty to make sure as many unfortunate souls become the next victims of their "rightful" wrath, basically becoming the blorbo police in a way. I do feel like this could be called activism: there's a lot of focus on identity and a thirst for representation in media so they latch onto the closest thing available (fandom) and engage in discourse. Maybe because many people feel powerless to make any meaningful change 'IRL'?

I was thinking about that (again) the other day and I found a few reasons why this 'activism' always bewilders me, especially with games like HSR or Genshin

1) I feel like there's a CRUCIAL difference to make between "this game / character or whatever is a source of comfort for me as a person with x identity" and "this game is actively and obviously trying to give us representation and you're a fool and probably a x-phobe not to see it". Call this "semantics" all you want, Words mean Things (wowzers), and it's just basic courtesy to communicate intent clearly, instead of always parroting the same 3 tiktok one-liners to sound witty. There's also a difference between headcanons, interpretation, subtext, etc.

2) We've already talked about this but for the love of god can we please please please stop arbitrarily categorizing behaviours, clothes, ways of speaking and so on as "OBVIOUSLY ROMANTIC IN NATURE" or whatever? I'm begging on my hands and knees, this is a very slippery slope. I understand making silly little jokes but past a certain point it's unclear whether or not people are serious about this.

3) This one is a bit different and not exactly limited to this subject but recently I've found myself getting slightly irritated whenever there are analyses / metas without sources, especially when said analyses aim at proving a point using specfic information. Blame it on the uni student in me who's had to write way too many stupid essays, but whenever I see claims like "x flower or whatever symbolises x thing in x culture, therefore it's proof that x thing in x media is x", even if the analysis is interesting, I always want to ask the person where they found that information, so I could educate myself on the subject. Maybe I'm a bit too pessimistic on this but part of me always feels like the person deliberately cherry-picked what suited their interpetation, especially if they later say things like "look it up yourself". Idk,I'd just like to see if these analyses are the product of a genuine research or if they just heard someone on Twitter say it and ran with it.

4) Tbh I find that the way Hoyoverse goes about things is not that different from the way kpop singers are told to act to appeal to the audience. I 100% agree with you when you say that "attractiveness" is one of the most important factors as to why some characters are ppopular. And since I get the same vibes between Hoyoverse and kpop, I'd say that latching onto something like that for representation is kinda setting yourself up for failure down the line. Like, I'm sorry but if tiny crumbs mostly born in the fandom are enough to quench your thirst for representation, then the bar is truly in hell

And Aventurine. Oh Aventurine. I hope I won't sound too angry when I say this but looord was the fandom annoying these past few updates. This is linked to point 2) but I HATED every second of it whenever I saw people say things like "omg Aventurine acted sleazy / told a man his marble bust is handsome, it's obviously proof he's gay and the biggest whore in all of HSR because no straight man would say that!!!!" 😐 I don't even care if people want to HCs him as gay (by all means, do whatever you'd like) but allow to present an alternative: you know what kind of man would speak like that? Someone who's overacting the harmful stereotypes associated with his tribe as a defense mechanism of sorts against the whole world. Kind of like "you want me to be the crafty, smooth-talking and capricious Avgin? That's what I'll show you". Idk, I feel like THAT'S a much more sensible reasoning than the hormones driven screeches aforementioned.

Like seriously, is it y'all's first time reading a story like that?? Some people took one look at the character with a suspicious tattoo on his neck that SUSPICIOUSLY looks like the word "slave" and decided he was the fuckboy trope. Then 2.1 came and they had the gall to be surprised pikachu face when it was revealed that "yeah this is really a slave brand and Aventurine is Not Doing Well Mentally" (I saw posts where people said they were surprised this character wasn't as smooth and flirty and whatever as they had thought, like do you want me to applaud you for thinking with your brain for the first time in months or what??)

A lot of the sexuality gatekeeping and preaching about x character being ___ sexuality or ___ -coded is a form of activism, for sure. As I said before, Americans in particular have a tendency to drag politics into every aspect of their lives, even foreign entertainment.

It's hard to say why some people act like morality police when someone disagrees with their headcanons or interpretations. Perhaps it's as you say--they feel powerless to make a change in the real world. A part of me also thinks they're virtue signaling; meaning, they show support for various causes for the sake of looking like a good person in front of others.

Regarding your frustration with the lack of a reliable source in analysis posts, I would say you're right to be wary of how factual the posts actually are. People generally make such posts to give their headcanons more weight. Basically, trying to prove their headcanons are right/correct. Cherry-picking is to be expected of such posts. I'm sure there are some well-researched, factual posts presenting a good analysis, but I find that those are mainly present in lore discussions. Maybe I'm being too negative, but I honestly don't expect anything good from fandom anymore. I am too jaded.

Mischaracterization in the name of shipping is a staple of fandom culture at this point. Your analysis of Aventurine's behaviors is spot on, but people like to view character actions and words through shipping lenses to try and find any crumb to support their headcanons. It's more fun to paint everything a character does as further support for their ship/headcanon than it is to appreciate who the character actually is.

The way Aventurine (And Childe. They massacred my boy) was quickly reduced to a flirty fuckboy hurts me to this day. After 2.0 story quest, people quickly came to the conclusion he was some perverted playboy, and proceeded to treat him the way they usually treat characters under the fuckboy trope: depict him in abusive situations. I saw so much fanart of Aventurine being collared and leashed, of being beaten black and blue, yet look like he's enjoying it. He was treated like a masochistic punching bag. While I love me some art of characters being roughed up, it really didn't suit Aventurine. Especially not after we just learned he was a slave, his race was murdered, and the Avgin people are discriminated against based on harmful stereotypes. But people seemed to have missed that?

The surprise pikachu moment they had when 2.1 dropped had me sitting there like:

Really? It was hinted at back in 2.0 that his backstory was rough, so it was no surprise he carries a lot of trauma and isn't as confident and cocky as he makes himself out to be. However, it seems like people really didn't pick up on that, or didn't understand the gravity behind it all. It felt like they and I read entirely different stories.

The small Kaveh win we had was worthy of celebration, but Mihoyo will never let their favorite shippers starve. They're already over-analyzing the camera panning between Haitham and Kaveh in Cyno's quest, as well as Sethos's voiceline about them. They do not rest.

[Spoilers for Mob Psycho 100 s3e9]

After last week's disappointment (the aliens), I'm glad to say episode 9 brought me unending pleasure! So, here's a list of things this episode did that brought me joy:

We actually got much more of tsubomi's pov in the anime, than we got in the manga. I understand that Manga Tsubomi is strictly through Shigeo's (and now and then Ritsu's) eyes and that is cool in its own way, but whew, it's really nice to see her being a character instead of just the idea of one. (I'm going to write a full post about her - I'll let you know when that's up!).

Serizawa is pretty much the only person who seems to genuinely see Reigen's true self, but rather than going along with his ruses/lies for the sake of "the flow", he just seems to accept that people don't actually have their shit together - that he didn't waste as much time as he'd thought, and by going to school and working with s&s, he's actually able to live a pretty normal life. He's happy with the way things are, not just complacent like he was with Claw. (I will also make a longer post about this - I'll let ya know when!)

Okay, serious points are said, from here on they're a bit dumb ahaha!

(And also maybe it's unnecessary to mention and I'm sorry, but him saving the cat vs being unable to save the cat during the Mogami arc is a parallel I'm unable to remove from my mind)

Side note, anime-onlies I'm SO sorry for the whiplash you received/will receive at the end of the episode!! I'm sending you the strength to survive until next Wednesday!! I remember the crash happening in the manga and me going feral about it haha! This arc is So Good.

I want to provide art, writing and silly content of it because yeah, a lot of the rare topics about them is ramblings about how more obscure it is or "Bring back [pc98 2hu] in [next mainline game!!!" (Regardless is meme or said for serious)

I think it would be better also for non initiated to see more varied content of these characters. Silly content and/or beautiful artwork would make them potentially more interesting to the public as a "Hey they seem cool, how about I try their game?". If I was a non initiated and all I would see were the ramblings I would just go "Why do you want these people back they barely have canon theyre just random goobers".

Im also saddened that even in pc98 circles themselves, which are already pretty niche, I struggle finding people who share similar headcanons, or at least arent hostile toward mines. For example, most people ive seen imagine Shingyoku as 2 different people (completely ignoring the yin yang form btw) while to me they are one being able to shapeshift (with queer analogy). An other tough one is Konngara who I headcanon being male since years, but is mostly shown female in fanworks and I got very unecessary bad answers from that. Its hard for me to have exchange with people who have stellar opposite headcanons to mine, because while I can close discussion and look up somewhere else, some of these people just act pompeous with me. So im more, introducing those characters to non initiated through my headcanons, I end up getting friendly exchange with them more thab other pc98 fans.

As touhou 1 was my first touhou, the cast is like a 2nd family :) i plan on making a post for each of them with my headcanons, theres a lot of writing and yeah even for yuugen despite not """being a cute moe touhou girl""" so fairly forgotten (but to me, one of my fav and their track being my favorite boss track)

Headcanons because Yugioh is such a hyperfixation.

-Quattro and Trey practically grew up in foster care and stuck together for quite a few years. As such, these two are extremely close. I feel, in the Japanese dub, they’re part British and in the English dub, they’re part Italian. So, these two will speak in their foreign languages all the time. Trey will be talking to Yuma and co post Season 3, be like “sorry, my brother’s calling.” And then speak a different language on rapid fire.

-Yugo is incredibly street smart. He spent most of his life in the worst part of his city. Kid probably was armed wherever he went, ate food when he got it, slept with one eye open.

-Yugi, simply for shiggles, will occasionally mess with Jaden and Yusei. Like he’ll go to Duel Academy, or leave something in an interview he knows they’ll see one day.

Ok, anon, I absolutely LOVE these.

Trey and Quattro, as the youngest two, would naturally be closer to each other. And of COURSE they'd be bilingual and use their second language to communicate to each other! And Quinton would absolutely scold them in that language too. If he gets mad, he will switch to English/Italian and the brothers will know they're done. Same for the other two, if they're mad they'll curse in their other languages! Although English curses can be pretty bland, I'm not sure about Italian ones. Honestly I adore this headcanon because I'm bilingual too and recently I've been talking a lot more in my second language (sorry mum, but English is technically my first language lol) and I can imagine the brothers going rapid fire in their other language too just like I do! And as someone with experience, the "foreign" language comes out when the parent (or in this case the Quinton) is mad (my dad is also the same ethnicity as my mum but he grew up in the uk and will always talk to us in English-if he's using our other language it means he's either talking to my mum or if to us then he's serious or mad. I also sometimes when REALLY mad will snap in my other language too)

I haven't seen much of Arc-V, but I do know enough to know Yugo would be very street smart. Post series (I'm not looking at the ending i am not looking at the ending it did not happen ok it did not happen) the others would just find his weapons randomly stashed everywhere, or he'll surprise everyone by having a knife with him on like a school trip! At some point it becomes a written rule that Yugo just can't carry weapons on him, but he will still have one somewhere. Is it understandable why he has this habit? Yes. Is it also the reason why they've been stopped in so many places? Also yes.

Yugi being a cheeky lil' gremlin YES! Of course, this is Yugi, so even though he thinks it's Oh So Terrible And Naughty, the things he leaves are actually very cute and silly. For example he visited Duel Academy when it was being built and drew a winged Kuriboh where he knew Jaden's dorm would be and thought "oh this will scare him haha I'm so terrible >:3" but he didn't realise Jaden wouldn't question it.

Also Yugi once requested that a duel monster be made named Milkbike, with a guy on a motorbike drinking milk. Years later, Jack saw the card and bought it to give to Yusei as a joke because it was way too accurate. So accurate that Yusei took it, took one look, and immediately knew it was Yugi. He didn't know whether to be mad that a ghost from the past made an entire card to last through time for the exact purpose of pulling a prank on him, or to be honoured and touched that Yugi wanted to engage with him so much.

Tales of Ba Sing Se Re-watch

Alright, I ain't even gonna lie to you guys this is yet another re-watch post made after a couple glasses of wine. I really don't have anything too deep to say about this episode though, it's just fun. This is also one of my most highly re-watched episodes so I don't even know why I re-watched it again for this re-watch. Just the completionist in me, I guess. But I literally do watch this episode all the fucking time lol it's a comfort episode for me & good background noise plus it's one of my sister's faves so she literally always has either this or 'The Beach' on.

(Yes I know my sister has good taste. Please comment about it so I can tell her. She is 12 & would be delighted & validated to know people on the internet think she has good taste.)

Already this post has gotten off track! I swear I used to be a party girl y'all I used to be able to drink anyone under the damn table at any time now literally only 2 glasses of red wine on a weeknight & I'm loopy lmao. Okay, what was I saying? What do I have to say about this episode? Look, basically, it's a slice of life & it's kinda like a fluffy fanfic to me. Like, it's not relevant to the plot but I love it so much. It's so important to me. Every show needs at least 5 episodes a season in this vein, I think that would fix modern TV I'm being completely serious.

Alright, so first of all the beginning is hilarious & precious. I just love all the kiddos getting ready in the mirror, & Toph being a hot mess who's ready to go & doesn't give a fuck about dirt.

Katara & Toph's segment is just so fucking cute.

I always completely forget until watching this episode how hard I used to ship Katara & Toph lol! Now I no longer ship them romantically but they have such an adorable friendship. I really love how Toph is hesitant at first but goes along with Katara's idea, & even sticks around after they touch her feet - the one thing she asked not to happen (don't blame you, baby girl, this is Nickolodean after all.) Toph freaking the attendant out with her silly mud mask face & making Katara laugh gets me grinning like a fool every time. I of course love Katara & Toph showing those mean girls what's what & sharing a soft moment. Best girls. I love them so much. Oh shit, the iconic behavior competition. They get +500 each for sending those mean girls down the river.

Alright & Iroh's adventure!!! Wow, I have like, nothing deep to say about it but I love it so much. I love Iroh helping people selflessly. The interaction with the would-be mugger is great. But the juxtaposition from Iroh singing to the crying kid on the street & singing as he plays tribute to Lu Ten.....I get emotional every time. Iroh's little tale says a lot about the way he interacts with the world around him & I love it <3 Also, +100 iconic behavior points for changing the mugger's life so easily.

Aang's adventure is funny but I have no deep analysis? Sorry guys I'm lacking in the deep analysis area right now. I mean, there's not much to say. It's entertaining. I'm a little confused about how there can be a zoo outside the walls of Ba Sing Se? Isn't it....kinda tricky to get in & out? I don't...ok.....anyway...

Sokka's adventure is hilarious. I love the slam poetry moment. But I don't have much to analyze there other than "haha funny."

Zuko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if you guys knew this about me, but I love Zuko. I know, I know, shocking. I love Zuko's little date with Jin. I saw the headcanon that Iroh purposefully made Zuko's hair into a 'do that would cause any girl with any sense to immediately ruffle it & that's just so cute, I totally read it that way from now on. "Zuko can't lie" as a character trait will forever be important to me. Zuko juggling even though he can't juggle will never not be funny & endearing. But I have to tell you guys, I was joking with some of you about how "Zuko has no game" before but like.....if u think about it Zuko did get a girl fully simping over him & trying desperately to get a lil kiss on the lips DESPITE his consistent fumbling so I MEAN. Say what you will but Jin was into him.

Also, I remember the first time I watched this episode I could not focus on anything else after Zuko lit the lanterns 'cause I was STRESSED. I was certain Zuko had given him & Iroh away.

Momo's segment just makes me sad 'cause it reminds me what episode is next & my heart is not ready.....

Hey! I hope you’re doing good! Valentines Day is around the corner. Got any silly date headcannons for Soudam or Soul Bros?

I am good, just very busy haha!

And maybe not exactly date headcanons but I have been thinking a lot about an au where Soda and Gundham start dating online long distance, and more specifically what a mess their first valentines is, so I hope you’re okay with some ramblings haha

So I’m imagining Soda splurging on some really expensive custom chocolates for Gundham, gets little black hearts with purple decorations and makes sure to get a bunch of flavors Gundham has mentioned liking for sweets and stuff. It costs him like waaay more money than anyone should spend on chocolates, but he’s just blinded by the thrill of his first valentines in a serious relationship so he orders them anyways and has them shipped to Gundham.

Meanwhile, Gundham keeps things simple and writes an original love poem for Soda.. and then decides to also send him like 50 roses because he’s a romantic and extra and also super excited about his first serious valentines day lmao

Anyways, Gundham gets Soda’s present a few days early but doesn’t open it because they agreed they’d do gifts together on valentines day. So they’re video chatting around the time when Soda should be receiving Gundham’s gift, having a good time and being predictably mushy, and Soda’s doorbell rings. Gundham urges him to go get it, so Soda brings his laptop and sets it down on a counter so Gundham can see the door.

Gundham is so proud of himself when he see’s Soda open the door and immediately be met with a face-full of flowers... but then Soda starts sneezing... and backing away from the door... and oh jeeze now he’s off screen and Gundham can hear him distantly assuring the delivery guy he’s okay and telling him just to leave the flowers on the table next to the door.

Gundham waits a couple minutes just listening to Soda blowing his nose in the distance and staring at a comically large bouquet  that he now realizes was both a bad idea and a waste of money.

Soda comes back, nose red and eyes puffy, and before he can even say anything Gundham is apologizing and telling him to just throw the flowers out and then apologizing again. Soda just awkwardly assures him it’s fine, and that it’s his fault for not reminding Gundham of his pollen allergy. Soda insists he loves them and that he’ll find a vase for them later after taking some allergy medicine, then picks up his laptop goes back to his desk.

They’re both feeling kind of awkward so Soda cuts the tension by making a joke about Gundham’s gift being so good it made him cry (watery allergy eyes are basically the same as crying, right?), and it does help a little. They decide it’s time for Gundham to open Soda’s gift.

When Gundham opens up the brown package paper and sees the chocolate box he doesn’t immediately recognize what it is. He like cocks his head at his camera and Soda just excitedly urges him to open it. Gundham opens it and sees all the fancy chocolate and his face immediately lights up! They look amazing and he can immediately tell Soda put a lot of thought into the designs and he’s laughing as Soda is asking him to show him them cus he never actually got to see how they came out.

Gundham shows him them and is like “I adore them my love! but you really didn’t have to get so many, I know vegan chocolates can be quite costly!”

and Soda just kinda pauses and is like “uh... vegan chocolate? Is all chocolate not vegan?”

And Gundham just kind of slowly lowers the box and is like “uh... yes dearest, most chocolates contain dairy...” and oops now they’re sitting in awkward silence...

Eventually Soda’s just like “Um, so maybe we just pretend we decided not to do gifts?”

But Gundham wont have it.

“Perhaps... we did not choose the best items to covey our affections, however I still cherish this gift... even if I cannot consume it.”

And that makes Soda smile a little. “I guess you’re right, and I really do think the flowers are pretty! Maybe I can just... put them out on the balcony or something?”

Gundham laughs. “Careful love, your neighbors may think you boastful.”

Soda laughs too and is just like “Fuck ‘em, it’s not my fault they don’t have the world’s best boyfriend.”

“Dearest I do not believe you have the world’s best boyfriend...”

Soda thinks Gundham is beating himself up and is about to protest but then-

“For it is I who have the best boyfriend.”

Gundham smiles at the camera and Soda just looses his mind laughing because that was so stupidly cheesy but also kind of touching and he’s just so happy that somehow despite their shitty gifts they’re still having a great day.

They set their gifts aside and talk for a while, swear they’ll do better next year as far as gifts go, and then Gundham remembers his poem and recites it for Soda. Soda is like legitimately almost crying by the end of it. Soda decides to try his hand at making a poem after once he’s calmed down a bit and comes up with something top quality like “roses are red, violets are blue, I think your cool, and also I love you” and they both spend a while laughing about it.

They spend the whole night chatting and... stuff lmao, and even if the day wasn’t perfect they both agree it was still a great valentines, and at least they don’t have to worry too much about how to top it next year lmao.

(Plus they realize while most the chocolates aren’t vegan, some of the dark chocolates without dairy fillings are, and also turns out roses are actually pretty okay for people with pollen allergies as long as they aren’t literally shoving their face into them! So it all sort of worked out!)

Hancock loves, LOVES, to distract Nick from work. Either by kisses, by creating a problem that now Nick has to deal with or literally taking him away from it manually, Hancock adores seeing Nick pissed at him, because he knows he can’t be mad at him, so he likes to tease his limits. Besides, most of those “problems” end by giving “Tinker Bell” a little bit of attention, like a kiss. Nick usually gets his revenge, playful little revenge where he teases Hancock back, and Hancock somehow never expects Nick to come back at him.

Nick likes to take advantage of being taller than the ghoul, so he’d sometimes get out of Hancock’s reach to tease him. Hancock is quite annoyed by this but, damn he loves when Nick makes it up to him when he teases him like that.

They literally can’t be mad at each other (that is, if it isn’t something actually serious), they could tease and play with each other all they want and they would laugh it off at the end.

Hancock likes to steal Nick’s hat. That’s it, he just likes to steal it, pretend he’s Nick for a while or just have it on him for no reason more than, “haha silly funny hat”.

They really enjoy going to the Third Rail as much as Nick complains about Hancock’s little town of crime. There they can really be them without having to hide anything, so that is really nice. Besides, Charlie’s moody personality is so much better than Vadim’s non-stop talking even if it’s in the middle of the night. (Yes, Vadim “closes” the bar every once in a while just to let Nick bring Hancock in, it’s paid off with favors. It’s pretty much like a “The Lady and The Scramp” situation most of the time with Vadim.)

Hancock literally sneaks in DC all the time. Guards caught him once, and let’s say he used his high level of charisma to get them off him...by using a cap mine (No guards were killed in the process of this...but they were really badly hurt)

Nick likes to play the “toxic girlfriend” every once in a while and give him the cold shoulder because he enjoys it so much when Hancock gets cocky and says that he can live without him. No he can’t, like 10 to 20 minutes after he’ll come back begging Nick to pay attention to him. Nick literally won’t stop laughing, but he will give his loved one the attention he so much needs.

Hancock is as clingy as ever ( as you can see in the previous headcanons) and loves to cuddle, kiss him, hug him, hold his hands. Especially because Nick is very self-conscious about his body, and how it can obviously damage the ghoul. But does he care about some cuts or little shocks, or whatever that can happen to him? No, it’s mister I’m fucking crazy over here, he doesn’t give a fuck. Hancock would tell Nick how handsome and adorable he is every chance he gets. Nick will break and lose his words (quite literally), when Hancock praises him like that.

Sometimes Hancock does get anxious about why Nick would be with him, but Nick is constantly giving him little subtle praises and compliments, even if Hancock doesn’t notice them, Nick will make him notice them one way or another. Maybe wrapping his arm around him, calling him pet names, laughing at his jokes, looks, smiles...stuff alike.

hi I love your Maji hcs 💖 if possible I would love a kinda silly one about Maji having to look after his s/o if they were sick (like with flu or something, nothing serious) I imagine he’d get SO flustered trying to make sure he’s doing enough for them, and he ends up doing so much that his s/o is like “can u chill” lol

also if it was the other way around - he’s almost certainly one of those people that doesn’t want to stop if he’s sick and has to be aggressively forced to rest haha

I share this headcanon for sure, Majima is the fretty type when it comes to his loved ones getting sick, to the point of being overbearing. He’ll insist that they stay in bed as much as possible, personally delivering them water, food and anything else they might need. For this he’ll even bring out a bit of his rusty customer service flourish - a platter for their tissue box, served on one knee, with a reverent incline of his head. All little in-jokes between them, since they know about his past. They serve to put a smile on their face and briefly take their mind off their runny nose... and off how annoying Majima is when he’s not home. 

Because you bet the man will call frequently to check on how they’re doing, sending Nishida or, worse, Minami over to help them with the most menial of tasks and to make sure they’re taking their meds as prescribed. Always coming back in the evenings with a different pack of pills or a syrup or some other kind of doodad the pharmacist managed to talk him into buying.

To Majima’s mind, the more zealously he treats it now, the faster it’ll go away, so you might even catch him trying his hand at... cooking. Soup is supposed to be good, right? He has an idea of the basic ingredients for a warming soup (ginger and spring onion seem to be favourites in Japan) but just those would make for a pretty boring broth so what if he added... fish fingers? A couple of sour plums? Potato chips? They all taste good on their own, surely they’re even better together! 😬

But listen, for all his clumsiness, Majima’s good at picking up on symptoms and, most importantly, being gentle. It’s normally difficult to glimpse his caring side, but now it shines through in the intimate moments where he takes off his glove to tenderly press a hand to their forehead, checking for fever. Or where he tries to spoon-feed them his “concoction” before having a taste of it himself and promptly running down to the Poppo to pick up some oden instead. 

To be this perceptive, he’s of course gotta hang around them a lot and hanging around a sick person, plus also snuggling and kissing them (he doesn’t even think to stop doing it, it’s a reflex by now) means that, well... he catches it too.

For Majima, the signs of a flu are easier to mask. Everyone knows he suffers from allergies, so they don’t think much of his sniffles and sneezes. Coughing is as well expected from such a heavy smoker. But there’s one thing he can’t hide very effectively: the way his voice deepens 👀 

The Majima family boys normally only get to hear their boss’ low tone when he’s really pissed, so they have an instant reaction of fear when Majima greets them one morning with a downright growl. His partner, on the other hand... they’re smitten. Who cam blame them? He could be recounting the most boring of stories, complaining about some clan meeting or another and they’re just hanging on his every word.

Though as irresistible as his deep voice is, the first touch of Majima’s skin will reveal he’s running a little warm, much more than usual. And here your guess is absolutely right - the only way to get him to stay in bed now is to offer some company... or better still, to tackle him and not let go 💙
