ok fun anecdote time again in lieu of going thru all 2389 stories individually so. shadow revenge is the book i started out with and always had that title, and when conceptualizing the other two books for the trilogy i wanted to keep a similar naming scheme (starting with s + double noun) so originally they were

PERSONAL HC INCOMING! He gets migraines after the lazarus pit so he can only have so much fun before needing to lie face down with his head covered with a beach towel to make everything less overwhelming or he wears sunglasses the entire time

he brings a book to read at the beach and stays in the shade the entire time yes he is that bitch

usually at home in the comfort of his little library he likes to read things that have an impact on him or just stuff that makes him want to analyze deeper. think books like frankenstein, lord of the flies, all quiet on the western front, just generally heavier stuff

but his vacation books? totally different. usually something super light, maybe a shitty romance book that you find in walmart which are clearly just results of book packaging, or a some booktok recommendation he got for shits and giggles because it just was so laughably bad, maybe even a childhood feel-good book like percy jackson or the little prince (mostly just books he would not grieve over if sand permanently got in between the pages)

he tried reading a colleen hoover book once and honest to God wanted to toss it into the ocean HE WOULD HATE HER BOOKS AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL

but out of everything he likes watching you enjoy yourself, his book wasnt that important anyways. show him that funky sand dollar you found or that really cool piece of seaglass, he’s probably gonna bring it home with him. a little keepsake along with the millions of grains of sand that never seem to go away

i feel like he wouldn’t care too much for typical beach stuff. like at every beach that has sand and decently clean water you can do most beach activities

one thing that is never 100% consistent at all beaches is what lives on the beaches. this boy will spend hours staring into tidepools 

bruce was lowk concerned because his son did not gaf about normal beach activities that kids do but eventually he reached a point where he was like "i mean at least hes having fun and being safe"

i feel like talia would always show him books of sea creatures when he was little but he never ended up being able to see them in their natural habitat someone take this boy to an aquarium now

He was about to get TORTURED and MURDERED and he STILL decided to have fun with it and do a lil dance?????? That’s so!!!!!!!!!! He wants to live out his fantasies right until the end!!!!! !!!! ok first off i just wanna say u made my day with this ask im so excited that other people r excited abt this and want to hear my explosions (also i definitely want to make individual profile posts for each tribute so this will be. sparknotes of what i have thought up so far :D) Tango - i have tango in district 3, along with mumbo. district 3 is the technology district, and with mumbos redstone contraptions and tango's decked out programming, it felt very obvious placements to me :] i dont think they were very close at all before the games. not in a bad way, just they didn't cross eachothers paths all that much (subject to change but in life series canon theyre never on the same team iirc). theyre cordial in the proceedings before the games but dont train together or plan to team up. tango, skizz, and bigb eventually ally together during the training days before the games! (aka heart foundation) Jimmy - jimmy and scar are actually from the same district, district 11! 11 is the agriculture district, and to place jimmy in this district i pulled from his ranchers and empires sheriff vibes if that makes sense. i also just know that 11 is one of the poorest districts and doesn't usually do well in the games, and we all know jimmy in these games. (i considered jimmy in 12 bc of the canary thing, but skizz and impulse r from there and i figured putting him somewhere else is fun too!) scar - as said above, scar is from district 11! i don't think he is expected to do super well in the games from the reaping, but during interviews its clear that he has the charisma to get some sponsors. i honestly haven't thought up all that much for scar yet but dw i will (he literally wins. how could i ignore him) fun fact! scar and jimmy were going to kind of team together, but during the first day of training, scott (career tribute) makes some joke to gem about how they wouldnt stand a chance if they teamed together bc of their district. jimmy let this get in his head and decided to split from scar, causing both of them to be loners at the start of the games. jimmy eventually finds martyn during the games and they ally bc of reasons (that i can get into if we want to), but scar stays relatively alone honestly most of these tributes and their district placements are pretty set in my mind, except for martyn, cleo, and bigb, who i still can't figure out where to put (if anyone has suggestions pls send them lmao). ive got some bits and plot points from the series already worked out into a hunger games universe, but a lot of it i dont! if theres any specific part of the series anyone wants to ask about, please do!! i work best when someone tells me what to brainstorm on lmao. anyways lol hope yall r liking this! i dont have any clue if it will gain any traction, but i've been thinking abt this au so much since the finale and i wanted to try and share it and talk about it with people :D pls send comments or asks abt any of it if you want to !!!

what is dave the diver like? ive seen it a lot but nobody talked abt like. gameplay. is it good?? i think i might get it later this month

gameplay for dave the diver involves diving down to collect sea creatures for 2 rounds, this is how time progresses in the game. You are able to upgrade several of your items in order to be able to dive deeper, breathe for longer, do more damage, carry more items with you, which also progresses the Plot.

at night you work at the sushi restaurant that makes food out of the fish you bring in, and this part of the game involves selecting a menu, serving drinks, serving the food, refilling ingredients (but it is Not stressful as you very quickly unlock multiple staff members that do this all for you, since you, as Dave, have a really slow walking speed. you very quickly get to a point where u just supervise restocking the menu and such)

I think it is good ^_^ i am a person who doesnt like management games, and the restaurant part doesnt feel like that at all. (if your staff doesnt get the order out to someone in time, all that happens is you dont get the money that person wouldve paid). I really feared it would be That kind of restaurant gameplay.

There are people who complain that there are too many quests and tasks (this is a game where you have a Phone with Apps on it, related to the game after all), but every mechanic that is introduced is not done in a stressful way, is usually tied to the plot and you are given a good example of how to use it, and many things are optional, or easy to balance since the game time only progresses when you dive!

If I had known some of the stuff/eventual mechanics beforehand, I would have felt very overwhelmed! But I think the game introduces em in a good + relevant way as u progress the plot! ykwim?

I usually HATE when games are Lots of Tasks but here its like well, I need something to do while diving anyway! Maybe doing this thing will earn me more money, or a charm that buffs my harpoon gun, or reward me with an ingredient for the sushi place, or cat food to feed the cat with. Very few things are Timed (like Parties where getting certain fish will have people paying more, or having a VIP visitor you need to make a specific dish for) and the game goes at the pace of your diving expeditions, which can last as long or as short as you want, (U can find oxygen capsules underwater!), so I also dont feel Rushed. You can do all the little quests before proceeding with plot progressing main quest, you can ignore little quests, do them later etc.

Im not very good at video james, and I get stressed out by them easily, and this game has been really fun for me and not super stressful....! I don't think it's high stakes at all.... It is also very Cute moments and pretty and the music is nice. And I love Dave he is a good guy and so cute also. ...

Jerma plays a very very small amount of it which was enough to hook me (and it only gets better and more interesting from there) if u Do wanna get an idea of core mechanics without further spoilering... I also got it on sale in case I did not like it ^_^

also it OF COURSE still has its flaws, from plot to writing to mechanics, but I like it a lot! i am haveing fun

let me start by saying I have suddenly been thrown back on the Fander train without my consent and this is the result of that. its a doozy, but if anyone wishes to discuss further id be delighted. so:

Virgil: came a long way, accepting being accepted, he's still dealing with the guilt of his past i spose. getting more familiar with everyone, him and logan are cute (platonically). Of course as Anxiety, he still struggles with lying (because we get nervous when we think about getting found out) and intrusive thoughts (what if im a bad person) but as a person(?) hes learning to come to terms with that, well on his way with a few crises coming his way, theres that whole thing with saying Paranoid to him, hope we face that. I see self discovery and good things coming his way, a win for all you virgil fans!

Roman: clearly, getting pretty emotionally beat, yknow, sides with Janus to be shot down, goes against Janus to be shot down again, significantly lacking in wins recently, you wonder abt his self esteem. Still doing his job great, which seems to be the only thing hes got going for him which is concerning. in the You vs Yourself vid hes very unsure about his moral views because he recognizes hes not Morality and when he proposes arguments they are based on endgoal, just like hes usually been as Passion, creativity, career drive, you might say? I dont see his arc being addressed in his near future, but I'm sure it will come to that. I see dark times before his good times roll, hang in there Roman fans, he'll get his moment.

Patton: Hes really been going through it, hasnt he. I mean, recently he just found out there was so much more complications to his job that he wasnt prepared to handle and to be faced with it all at once must be really challenging, especially when everyone is expecting results from him and he doesnt even know what to do and theyre all judging his decisions when hes just trying his best with all these new factors to consider with his job as Morality. Its easier for him to come to terms with Janus as deceit than Remus because he can easily see how lying can be good (even though he knows its also not a lot of the time) but he still doesnt really know how Intrusive Thoughts are helpful to Thomas or good in any way. I see in his future, job related anxiety and insecurity. It will be adressed, and its also good he was allowed his breakdown early (You vs Yourself, you can tell I really like this episode despite a severe lack of Virgil and Remus)

Logan: Well. we all know how this is going, I mean, hes the talk of the town lately! As a Logan fan, I can attest to the fact that he did used to be more lighthearted and smile more and I can also attest to the fact that Thomas is very aware of his development as a character and I don't think he'll let yall down. just, what I can glean from his videos. we're all waiting for him to go apeshit, and I with you, and i do think its coming very soon guys, hold on to your proverbial hats! I do enjoy that hes clearly indifferent to the new additions and not thrown off like the others. due to the fact that he is Logic. Id also like to point out that logic can be wrong and everyones logic is different. even if its less so compared to how anxiety is. so. logic is still susceptible to human whims. anyway theres been plenty going aorund abt ignoring logan and the orange side, and I'm always up for discussion on any of these guys. Hes really been just going ham into his job, huh? search for purpose, hmmm? ponder on that morsel. more alcohol in his life as well, an interesting observation.

Janus: oh, the snakey boi. How hes grown. he does a lot of drinking too. what for, I wonder. I do think the preposition to his song reveals a lot, like how Patton is talking to him more, how he knows truths and knows that some need to be hidden and its healthy to lie sometimes even when you know its a lie. Hes confident in himself and his abilities and knows when the criticism is ignorance vs actual criticism, which is why he values Logan's perspective on his arguments and brushes off Roman's jabs to his ego. Hes safely on the ride, and I dont see any heavy existential crises or anything in his near future, as in, he (and Remus, I'll talk about it later) will probably be the only mentally stable ones as the Light Sides are having their purposes reevaluated. Confidence is surprisingly key. who'da thunk it?

Remus: My favourite rat man. True to his name, hes very intrusive, and I admire his determination in his fight for acknowledgement. I think it will serve him well, the "face it bluntly hands on" tactic compared to Janus, who understands where he stands in the others' eyes and will slowly but surely snake his way (see what i did there?) to the table. Remus, and I love it about him, is just running forward to acceptance MACE ABLAZING and I hope it takes him good places. the WTIT ep was very revealing. his confidence in himself, like Janus's, will carry them through the generally rough patch that I predict is coming their way. i do think he is salty abt being ignored, which I interpret as the biggest difference between him and Janus (who might also be, but I dont really see it? I might also be in denial cuz this theory is really working for me) and Remus is wounded by it and trying to hide the fact that hes salty with his craziness and randomness that no one understands. its why he feels mor menacing than Janus. who knows, Janus might be just as peeved but hiding it better? settled himself in for the long game?

both dark sides certainly seem bent (and betting) on getting Logan to lose his marbles, but idk whether thats for Logans good or so the Reasonable Light Side (tm) will see what its like? and by proxy everyone else...? the tail end of the theory is escaping me now. its also 5 am.

Cant wait to see how the orange side manifests, wont that just be plenty of fun for all?

For Chueam, I thought for sure she would be more developed but I understood quickly (but not so quickly) it wouldn't and i was sad. Yeah sure it's a BOYSLOVE, but I thought.

The thing is, I started the first 3 eps of the show and realized it wasn't what I thought it would be, and that is saying smthg bc I had zero expectations. So I did a thing that I already did for a little few other gmmtv shows, I stopped watching, let loose of my thoughts, and started over 2 weeks later and catching it up live again. And honestly it was better. But I wasn't like other ppl in the fandom lmao. I had no analysis, no theories, no nothing. It was just vibes😅 But then something happened and idk why, but I got bored of it ??? Idk maybe it's like you said and this series had lots of shocking value, but in other departments it was lacking.

 Like the lack of repercussions or like just you know, finishing somethings, having resolutions. And having it makes sense for the characters, bc how you feel with something tells you what kind of a person you are. But they seem to kind of always cut that ? I don't know the words exactly English isn't my first language sorry (I'm so mad I can't find the words it's killing me my god).

For me it was also too much for the stable pairings if it makes sense. Like the first and khao and book and force (Mark and neo in this series as a couple was a great choice bc I didnt that 'problem' with them). I don't follows the actors closely at all but sometimes I could sense something weird. Like it's for example an actor interacting with the other actor he's close with, and not another entity interacting with another with their own (fictional) feelings. Again I'm really sorry for my weird English I don't know how to say it 😅 hope it makes sense lol.

So all in all, kind of fun, I don't mind having characters that have a grey moral, in fact I like them the most, or having characters opposite of my morals, bc it makes me think, and keep things interesting (well usually).

I like the mess usually, and I did like some in this series, but maybe this show is not for me bc it was a mess yes be for me not the right reason in a way, I think. Also I love a series that is concentrated on friends but sometimes hum something was lacking idk.

There is one thing that happened who made me rrreeeaallly think. Bc a character isn't supposed to always be the light of reason, and can make mistakes, or just have a different opinion of mine the watcher. And I like that. But yeah at one point I wanted to wake-up-slap Chueam. Bc I dont understand what the show/the story/the show runners whatever  was trying to tell me. And that's what I talked abt earlier. Bc either it is something that is not well resolved until the end, or it is and that's just that. Honestly idk.

And lastly I like the actors but i I'm so tired of seeing them with the same couple pairing. I want them to grow up outside of their couple pairing bc you can sense a sense of safety net when they act together. I find they are GOOD actors, I just want them to fly more.

But then again, all of this is my opinion, it's very subjective (apart from the lack of development of chueam, of course).

Maybe I'll rewatch this series next year in a binge. I'll be waiting for your review, if you will do one.

I think that when p'jojo announced this show as the gay friend zone, I was hoping it would bring the one thing that friend zone does not have into its show: queer community. I was hoping that, despite the drama, this would feel like such a relatable show to anyone who has a queer group of friends... but it really wasn't. the only parts I truly LOVED are sand being openly bi, though sadly all of his relationships are with men, and the kiss scene between sand & nick when they just laugh bc they realize they're not compatible. THIS! this felt like the queer experience. if the show had leaned into this kind of scenes, I would've honestly overlooked everything else. but again, having watched friendzone where 1) its female characters are developed 2) its WLW characters are loved & developed 3) stud is the best "slutty messy gay" character and boston WISH he could be him 4) topmew are just a re-hash of samearth's boring ass relationship 5) arm's character in friend zone was everything boeing should've been... the purpose of only friends becomes only the audience being shocked bc two random actors kissed and/or fucked. and by the end? I got mond & first kissing yet I felt nothing. ME! the biggest not me stan & a fan of the gramyok ship... felt absolutely nothing about seeing them kiss. bc since everyone kissed there was nothing to be surprised about. I'm glad that despite the show's popularity, people are FINALLY opening their eyes & seeing that it was not a good show and never was from the very start.

note: I feel the need to say something bc a few people have been misinterpreting what I mean when referencing the queer community. it's just. gosh. for as much as i talk abt bravern being unhinged the fact of the matter is that it is actually SO restrained. i'll start with parker because she hasn't had any session yet so her lore is not deep, and since at least one other player will likely read this i can't quite reveal all the fun bits yet! here's the only drawing i have atm. subject to change but this is the vibe

parker (she/her) is a 21 year old skater chick (and lesbian) in the year 2007. she recently had an experience that turned her onto the path of a hunter. one of her friends was attacked by Something a few nights ago. she hit the thing with a bat (she used to play softball :D) but it didn't seem to phase it. at one point when she was checking out the crime scene, she ran into... her old high school english teacher. the victim was 18 and a current student of his, and he was curious about the incident too.

the two teamed up on their investigation and met an occult bookstore owner who took interest and told them she might know a guy who can help. all 4 of them will meet up for the first time in the first session on saturday :>

now, taeho..... taeho taeho. shim taeho (he/she) is a south korean cybernetics expert in the year 2077 (so many sevens in these years. that's a coincidence). she was a cybernetic designer/engineer i guess? i don't really know cyberpunk i'll be honest with u. she was also a back-alley ripperdoc. you can only understand so much about cybernetics without installing them yourself :)

she made some great achievements in her field, which attracted the attention of a tzimisce, jaeyoon (they/them). jaeyoon was interested in figuring out the mechanics of cybernetics on kindred, so they embraced taeho to be both a lab partner and a guinea pig. they also didn't let taeho leave the haven often because the camarilla was not welcoming to them. he'd only ever fed on their vitae until recently. no hard feelings, though! taeho loves her sire (why yes, he is Mega Blood Bonded, why do you ask?).

their main project together has been developing some sick doc ock tentacles by combining vicissitude and cybernetics. taeho has 2 currently installed. she's a beast with them in combat and it's a delight (when the dice don't hate me...)

anyway, after about 8 years of being holed up with his sire, the city they reside in was attacked by the SI. jaeyoon didn't come home, and taeho was left all alone. she waited, but eventually he knew he had to leave. she fled to the nearby city of seoul.

since it was his understanding that a tzimisce weren't really allowed in the camarilla, taeho decided to masquerade as another clan. and what other clan should she choose but the fucking tremere? look. he knows he has very nerdy energy so she figured she could blend in. plus, he was very curious about blood sorcery. could never quite figure out all that koldunic stuff.

since then she's been eating shit as a cammie scrub in a coterie of other scrubs (or, originally other scrubs. some players have rotated out and now half the coterie is much better off than taeho and the other refugee in the coterie). shenanigans have ensued, most notably for him when he got trapped into a marriage with a changeling that ended in a very messy divorce. uh. taeho may have been marked by the changeling relative that escaped the blood bath. it's fine.

i also have to include that this particular chronicle is, honestly, very horny. which is a lot of taeho's fault (but not entirely... *side-eyes lavender and her regnant*). for some reason his autistic swag is so strong that she has gotten laid THRICE since we started playing. none of the other pcs have done that even once... you'd probably expect the mafia girlboss or the sexy lasombra who takes every opportunity to take his shirt off to be pulling more, but you'd be wrong.

in recent events: a couple sessions ago taeho reunited with her sire! he cried like a baby, finally got to do some fleshcrafting (she had been feeling very trapped in this form... had a bit of a gender crisis. he's still figuring out exactly what's going on in that regard but hey the egg has definitely cracked, hence the new set of pronouns), and then had some. fun times. with her beloved sire. unfortunately, due to reasons, he can't stay with them. also they've been cursed somehow so taeho has to figure that out now. it's fine.

more recent events: taeho's regent/mentor seems to be reaching his limit on tolerating taeho's secretiveness. he's known that taeho has been lying about her clan since, like, almost the start. this regent is a very unusual tremere, and didn't immediately reveal taeho. in fact, he didn't even force taeho to tell him anything. he had already decided to take him under his wing, so that was that.

last session though he got a little fed up with the lack of trust. taeho tried to counter with some rumors he'd heard about the regent, expecting to weasel out, but instead the regent just laid out his whole tragic backstory to her. taeho didn't know how to respond to this, and also still couldn't tell the tremere regent that he was a tzimisce while they were in the middle of a chantry. she felt really bad about not telling the truth, which is weird and fucked up. why does he feel so bad about hurting this tremere??

i think i've said all the important stuff and then some, so i'll wrap it up. ahh.. taeho.... i love her. he's so fun to play. her game has already been going for over a year i think but only recently did he really click in my head. and boy. boy oh boy did he click. dug her cybernetic claws into the folds of my brain. i'm in pain. anyway i have some more art and posts in her tag if u want to check that out wehehehe

me and @chaeslvr111 were talking abt how demotivated we are and i decided to make a post abt it! so to laksh here u go 🫶

lets think abt it this way: lets say, everyone is studying for a math test. student A, who had only studied for two days, scored higher than student B who studied for more than a week. does that mean that student B will never score as high as student A? obviously not! the reason why student A only needed two days to study was bcuz they understood the concepts tested. for student B, the reason why they needed a longer time to study was bcuz they had trouble understanding the concept. however, they didnt understand the concepts yet, which was why they scored lower than student A.

u might ask, how does this relate to shifting? well, since everyone’s shifting journeys are different, that means that everyone’s understanding of shifting is also different. some are able to grasp the concept of shifting easily, like student A, while others might face troubles with fully understanding the concept of shifting, like student B. BUT, student B can also be like student A. if u find out the troubles that ur facing with shifting, then u can overcome them and shift successfully. i’ll make a seperate post abt this soon, but TL;DR don’t compare ur shifting journey to others, nor do u let others journeys influence urs. only YOU can determine when u will shift, no one else.

i’ll be splitting this into two parts: one for kpop shifters and one for other shifters.

for kpop shifters, i usually like to watch their vlogs or behind the scenes content. it helps me imagine better how they go about their schedules, which makes me visualise different scenarios in which i can be with them as well. i might also make a masterlist for motivative content for kpop shifters too!

for shifters who are shifting to movie/drama drs, rewatching the show itself and the behind the scenes filming is rlly motivative for me. watching the interviews about the actors of the movie and hearing them describe how they filmed the show is also extremely helpful in helping me visualise how i would be filming the show.

redoing ur scripts

i myself find scripting tiring 😭 but i know plenty others who get motivated by scripting be it the theme of their scripts or just scripting in extra things like scenarios.

i ABSOLUTELY love this one like ive got more than 20 playlists abt the different ppl in my drs (esp my txt one… uhm sos) u can make playlists based off the vibe of ur dr, ur dr ppl, even just dr scenarios too. i usually listen to them before i sleep so that i can be more motivated to shift, but u can also listen throughout the day while affirming to shift to ur dr!

creating pinterest boards abt ur dr

yet another fun activity for me. u guys dont know how MANY pinterest boards i have for my txt dr (im sorry tubatu ilysm). anyways pinterest boards are useful in a way for ppl who visualise better by seeing rather than hearing. u can make boards for anything in ur dr, like ur dr clothes, ur dr friend group dynamics, etc.

things have been going so well with jeno and i! he takes me on cute dates and i go to his games and practices as much as i can, even as far as wearing one of his gryffindor sweaters he gave me for games where they don’t play against ravenclaw.

evalynn has gotten a little distant though which is weird. she says shes just behind on studying and it’s stressing her out but even haechan and renjun have noticed a shift. i always see her at the quidditch practices but shes all the way on the opposite side of where we usually sit and wont even acknowledge when i wave to her.

we still hang out sometimes and both of us pretend there’s nothing going on but somethings clearly different.

today we’re in our shared room, classes just ended for the holidays and we’re just chatting and “modeling” each others clothes, giggling our heads off at how ridiculous we look. everyone else has gone home to their families but ev and i promised that this year we’d spend christmas together at hogwarts.

i pull a nice summer-y dress from her clothes and hold it up to my shoulders, checking myself out in the mirror.

“good,,, great actually. hes so sweet, and thoughtful. he’s constantly buying me flowers or other small things, always telling me im the prettiest thing to walk the earth.” i roll my eyes and she chuckles.

“sounds like i was right all along you guys are PERFECT for each other.” i laugh and throw the dress at her.

“mhm suuuure.” we haven’t genuinely had fun together like this in a while. it feels nice.

“ugh im so glad classes are over for a while! i swear if i had to even look at a pencil for another second i was gonna scream my head off.” she dramatically falls back onto her bed. i sigh.

“i knoooow! divination was so exhausting the last couple of days, thank god trelawny decided to pair us all up for the rest of the semester.” she shoots up.

“oh yeah! i heard you were paired with jaemin ouuuuuu.” she wiggles her brows, but there’s something slightly off abt her voice. i ignore it.

“no ouuuuu ya weirdo i dont even like him anymore i have jeno remember? he is very nice though but i guess thats just the standard hufflepuff idk.” she goes silent for a moment as i return to rummaging her closet.

“hm maybe you could put in a good word for me then? get me a quidditch boyfriend too.” i freeze as i watch her lay back down from the mirror, arms behind her head and a smug look on her face. is that,,,,

“is that why you’ve been so weird lately?” i stare at her through the mirror and watch as her eyes shoot open. “have you wanted jaemin this whole time? is that why you threw jeno at me?” she sits up and looks at me, trying to hide her nervousness. i turn to look directly at her, no more mirror.

“what no- lena i-“ her eyes never stop shifting. im angered, my body rising in heat by the second.

“what if jeno didn’t stick? what if he never came up to me at all? did you pay him or something? yall have some sort of deal? did he actually ever like me to begin with?” im breathing so heavily right now. “what if i decided to pursue jaemin? would you have still been my friend?” her eyes shift to the window. wow.

“the rest of that stuff no! he genuinely did like you from the start, you can even ask chenle and jisung for yourself. but yes, i did- do like jaemin and thought using what i knew about jeno liking you would make it easier if,,,,” i take a deep inhale and close my eyes to try and calm myself.

“if i were distracted.” i open my eyes again and she nods before looking down at her hands.

“im sorry lena i know it was a shitty move but-“

“A SHITTY MOVE??? YOU BASICALLY STOPPED TALKING TO ME- now that i think about it,,, you did start being nice again around the time jaemin and i got paired,,, you’re despicable, like honestly.” i move to my side of the room and grab my phone. she stands up, watching me walk to the door.

“mags wait thats not-“ i pause, my hand on the door knob.

“its the fact that i can’t even believe a word you say now. how do i know whats true and what isn’t?” she tries to get closer but i glare at her and she stops.

“like i said you can ask chenle and jisung theyre the ones who tol-“ i scoff.

“the two boys who are your friends? how am i supposed to know they aren’t in on it too? do you think im that gullible?” she stays silent. “wow, just,,,, wow” and i walk out to go clear my head in the common room.

we don’t speak to each other the rest of break.

i ignore the thousands of texts from jeno.

i don’t even look at the present he left me.

i dont normally send asks but i came across ur blog and you have some really cool ideas when it comes to personification stuff,, ur like one of the few other ppl ive found that actually includes polandball and countryhumans in personified fandom stuff so id love to hear ur ideas abt them!! as someone with a fascination with fandom history id be down to discuss stuff more with u if u wanna

uh *checks notes* I am going to assume you mean their dynamic/hcs about each!! I’ve never delved very deeply into Countryhumans fandom history/her dynamics with the others because. Controversy but I still do have lots of ideas about her. And she is *the* quintessential Canonless G(A) fandomspirit to me, probably because she’s the first one I was part of. You get into G(A) through Hetalia, Countryhumans, or Polandball mostly and they’re the faces of the whole place so,,, very well defined House triad here.

What I do say is CH is PB and Hetalia’s conceptual daughter (her premise is kind of both of theirs mashed together) but Hetalia and the other two are separated by the Canon-Canonless divide (and the fact that he has a husband) and thus don’t talk as much. (Which is funny because his two actual sons, Fandomstuck and Socialstuck, are both Canonless.) Also, he gets into Reality more often because he has more cosplayers. But their dynamic is more like older-younger sibling, they swing back and forth between working together well (sharing headcanons and Netizens) and actually beating each other up (raids). From what I’ve seen, and I’m mostly saying this from CH’s POV, he’s more likely to start it than she is.

Both of them are a little scared of each other, PB because he has a lot of overlap with her and is the closest to seeing inside of her brain (he’s read her writing before) and is uncomfortable around it, CH because she can never tell when PB is being sarcastic and when he actually means what he says. She usually assumes he’s being serious.

Also, fandomspirits don’t get as possessive of their people as much as OTJs do, which, considering the way they feed, is probably a good thing. So they don’t fight about who gets the food; they’re content, and CH even likes receiving less because it’s made her swings less severe.

I have no idea what’s going on with her right now because I can’t check her tag and no longer use Wattpad (her Wattpad room is way more active than her AO3 room from what I remember) for personal reasons, but is the Save the Countryhumans Fandom thing still happening?

Fun fact: she’s the second fandomspirit of Countryhumans. The first one was the Country Guardian, Nadia. She got thrown into temporary leave for killing another Guardian which she felt (feels) guilty about even with most of her memories wiped.

CH’s rooms in G(A) are vandalized to hell and back. She’s used to it.

What I meant about swings: she has periods of making shipping Whatever the Hell She Wants (btw in the personifverse G(A) is technically RPF) and then periods of feeling incredibly guilty about it.

Wikipedia, Britannica and JSTOR are her favorite places.

All of her spin-offs (Statehumans, Planethumans, social media humans (subordinate of Socialstuck in the twins’ journalism business)) live in her head but can manifest bodies at will. Planethumans is the most independent one.

She’s jealous of Centricide because they get to unironically ship Nazis and Communists without people yelling at them.

Actually she’s jealous of pretty much every other G(A) member.

Physically 14 because that’s what everyone sees her people as. Russian-Brazilian, I think? Russian definitely (VK). But no one knows exactly where she came from. Also Korean. Maybe. Everyone sees something different.

I know you came here half for PB but I don’t have many headcanons about him :( he is definitely the face G(A) would most like to show to the public, and really good at art (terrible at writing) except he can’t be bothered to try mostly. (I’ve been on some of his subreddits some of the pictures are pure eye candy)

I hope this doesn’t spark an argument because I don’t want this to be the third site I kick myself out of.
