He instinctively knows, but if he had any doubts, they’re gone the moment the baby smiles at him, real and blinding, around the white sucker in his mouth. It feels like a needle poking his heart, and he’s helpless to reach inside and scoop the precious bundle up.

“Izuku,” he says, but the name comes out distorted and animal-like, rough and scraped raw.

The baby in his arms keeps smiling at him, though and stretches tiny hands up to touch Katsuki’s face. Katsuki falls to his knees, holding him tight and leaning into the scarless fists.

"I Will Find You" by Purple_Insomniac

WOW. I have been obsessed with time travel lately (as you can tell). I found this one from a twitter fanart and was intrigued. I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS. 24 chapters of time travel, angsty, bkdk goodness. It blew my mind in a good way cus I was stuck trying to figure out how it was going to work with all the components. My FAVE parts of this are the A/N because they are scientifically driven. The whole book is just well written and researched, it makes it enjoyable to read, and just captures you. I liked that it is just so... sweet in a way... but the right angst amount. Just a way of wanting and longing from the characters. I really had no idea how the story would go the entire time I read it. The author also has a series of one-shots associated that are from the POV's of other versions of the characters in the story (it gets explained but its so cool). Izuku can stop time for a few seconds and see what’s going to happen.

The only time he used it was to save Katsuki; in each of his visions, the blond was dying with blood and serious injuries. In some of them, Katsuki was in his arms; in others, he sacrificed himself for Izuku.

The freckled man never forgot himself for letting this happen, even if he was the only one to know; the vision of the endless blood and the life leaving the red ruby eyes destroyed him more than once. No one except Aizawa knew about this capacity; if it turned into the wrong hands, who knew what could happen?

Izuku sighs, looking at his watch and waiting for his childhood friend. Today they planned to spend the afternoon together and change their mind before exams. To Katsuki’s surprise, the nerd accepted it without thinking and smiled.

Izuku realized the power of his quirk.

It could be life-saving but also destroying; he found himself having a mental breakdown more than he could count. The saddest part was how /he/ was the only one to know about this alternative life where Katsuki died. The sale katsuki who was standing beside him and glancing at the freckled man like he saw a ghost.

“Oi,” he says, ruffling the green curly hair. It was one of their habits, they never thought they could be this close, but everyone noticed how comfortable they were around each other. “If you’re going to stare at me all the time, at least take my best side, freckles.”

Izuku ignores the blush on his cheeks; he rolls his eyes and sighs. “I was just wondering how someone can be so confident and still be the most stubborn person I’ve ever seen, kacchan.”

Katsuki ignores his comment, putting his arms behind the freckled man’s back. “Maybe because you can’t leave without me ?”

Izuku smiles, realizing how the blond was right. “You’re right; I can’t imagine a world without you.”

No matter what their fate was, Izuku always promised to protect his childhood friend, even if this meant facing death and sacrificing himself

Fic idea

Time travel AU - BNHA

In which Katsuki gets accidentally sent to the future shortly after Deku's vigilante era, probably after returning to UA for final exams or something (you know the drill for quirk accident)

And suddenly, he is like 30 or 50 years in the future and finds himself lost. There's little hero activity, news talk about the new reinstated civilians that used to be villains and how they help society now. He keeps trying to get directed back to UA, or someone that may be able to handle a quirk accident, until someone does call a hero for him to be brought somewhere safe.

Q to old Deku showing up in the scene, awkward conversation, and Katsuki getting some insight to the(ir) future. This could lead to helping him decide on how to apologize to his contemporary Deku and his resolve on how to act on the final battle.

Also grey haired but still hot Deku (with a beard maybe?), his hair looks more like a peppermint 'coin' candy (coin as in the shape, you know candy cane but green), still in shape not too AllMight-y but built up, it would certainly make an impression on Katsuki.

Like, I get the appeal of traveling back in time, but going forward is seldom explored, and it would be interesting. Also, our local nerd is probably going to freak out a little about saying too much about the future and endangering the past while being excited to talk with a Dynamight from so many years in the past.

It's just a thought, I'm suffering from a low fever and a terrible congestion due to the weather changes, so my brain tends to go to the comfort zone to recharge, I'll be okay, but as of right now I need to visit my doctor again!
