INTRO

Occult gameplay is up there with one of my favourite ways to play. Food is a part of our Sims lives, and should also be for occults so that they can cook up their preferred foods.

This Occult Recipebook is a collection of custom recipes (food and drink) for Occult Sims in the Sims 4.

I have started off this occult culinary journey with: ✨SPELLCASTERS✨

I have plans to later create foods for each occult life state, so I will keep adding to the recipe book.

“Spellcasters” as a life state can be played in so many different ways: they can range from gnarly evil witches who practice black magic and eat bird entrails, to happy little fairies who live in cottages surrounded by woods and flowers! I have tried to include a little bit of everything in the recipes I have created. These foods are a mix of fairy, fantasy, green garden witch, apothecary, or black-magic sorcerer etc. 

They effect Spellcasters and/or human Sims in many weird and wonderful ways.

E.g. Nettle Tea which helps teenagers suffering with acne, Milk Thistle Biscuits which leave the consumer with prickly thistles in their tongue, and Eye of Newt Soup which most Sims will find disgusting but which Spellcasters will happily slurp up.

What’s going on in your after dark AU

I think of it more as a post-movie fic in comic form with a bunch of worldbuilding headcanons but anyways

After Dark is the name of the comic, I've planned two parts, two arcs.

We are just entering the first arc of the comic! Backyard fairies!

Its the farmhouse arc that was present in both the 2003 and 2012 iterations (I've watched both) in which the turtles (try to) heal after a big event, be it a failure or a victory. The surroundings of the farmhouse hold many mysteries, because the hamatos will never catch a break :/ poor guys

The parts of the arc will be more just like little one shots with a thin plot connecting them like in the show instead of the plot being the main focus, it thickens towards the end but overall I'm more exploring the world and the characters and what they've been through.

The main characters in this arc would be Mikey, April, Donnie and Casey because Raph and Leo got the film. Splinter and Draxum won't appear in this arc to deal with the aftermath in the hidden city because they believed the boys would be safe away from it (of course they were wrong). Cassandra has a clan of middle-schoolers to run in new york which was put on lock down, so she too in the end won't be able to visit :[

The episodes would be like this:

Mikey in wonderland- the focus is Mikey, he goes to explore the woods a bit because his arms ache and he needs a distraction.

Target practice- the focus is April, the exploration of her role in the predicament the hamatos are stuck along with a small theme of feminism and her being a part of the clan.

Five easy steps to build a tree house- the focus is Casey, he lost his home, and he realizes the turtles he grew up with are gone with it too, also a glimpse of his past and birth.

Its the IRS! but they're not after Donnie?- amateur timestress tries to impress her mentor, and draggs Mikey with her into the mess.

Germophobia- Mikey drags Donnie into the woods to meet someone he met there. Donnie isn't a fan.

Thats it for the first arc I think. There will be smaller stuff in between that'll show the details, how Raph and Leo are doing, what is up in NY and the HC (hidden city).

The second arc is the infamous tmnt space arrrrc

It'll be called star sailor ✨ the main focus in it will be Donnie :D it'll include the triceratons, fugitoid, many aliens and a lot of existential crisis :'] i think it'll be much more angsty and philosophical then the first arc and ooh can't forget the amount of body horror I've planned >:D

“So this is where you’ve been…how unsurprising.” ⚔️✨

Silver and Sebek’s designs for the Neverland AU! Hopefully you all can see the inspiration for their outfits, but, in case you can’t, Silver’s is based on the outfit Aurora wears when she lives in the cottage in the woods, and Sebek’s is based on Prince Philip’s outfit. I just love referencing Sleeping Beauty when I can for Diasomnia and couldn’t resist when making their outfits for the au.

Time for some lore dumping about Silver and Sebek! Silver is a Diurnal Fairy, meaning he has a talent, but does not have magic! He is an animal talent fairy who Lilia found and raised in Briar Valley. When Silver was still young, he was attacked by some Nocturnal Fae that cut off Silver’s wings and before they could attempt to take things further, Lilia found them and nearly tore them to shreds. Since then, Silver is learning to navigate the world without wings and is training to be a knight for Malleus.

Sebek is half Diurnal and half Nocturnal with his dad being a tinker fairy and his mom being a nocturnal fairy. Sebek is able to use magic. He was protected by Malleus during a hawk attack on Briar Valley and ever since then he’s devoted his life to training in order to be a knight for Malleus. He’s jealous of Silver being able to stand by Malleus as a fairy without wings, much less he’s also a Diurnal Fairy. He doesn’t see Silver as his equal at first, but he comes to learn just how similar the two of them are as they are both misfits in Briar Valley.

Materials

A quiet and natural outdoor setting

Instructions:

1. Find a peaceful outdoor space where you feel a strong connection to nature. It could be a garden, a park, or a quiet spot in the woods. Choose a time when you can visit during the day or in the evening when the energy feels calm and serene. Nighttime is fine just expect different energies.

2. Take a few moments to ground yourself and connect with the natural surroundings. Stand barefoot on the earth, feeling the soft touch of the grass or soil beneath your feet. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax and become present in the moment.

3. As you stand in this tranquil space, visualize a soft, shimmering light surrounding you. Imagine this light attracting the attention of the fae, inviting them to join you in this sacred space.

4. Extend your arms out to your sides and slowly spin in a clockwise direction. As you spin, imagine the energy of the fairies swirling around you, creating a connection between their realm and yours. Feel their presence and the magic they bring.

5. When you feel ready, find a comfortable spot to sit or lie down in the natural setting. Close your eyes and allow yourself to become fully present in the moment. Take a few moments to observe and appreciate the sights, sounds, and scents of the natural environment.

6. In your mind or aloud, express your sincere intention to connect with the fair folk. Speak from your heart, inviting them to join you and share their wisdom, guidance, and enchantment. Trust that they are listening and will respond in their own way.

7. Sit quietly for a few moments, opening yourself to any signs, sensations, or messages that may arise. Be receptive to the subtle energies around you and trust your intuition. The fairies may communicate through symbols, gentle whispers in the wind, or a sense of lightness and joy.

8. When you feel ready to conclude the ritual, express your gratitude to the fairies for their presence and the connection you have established. Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment and gently open your eyes.

Remember, connecting with the fairy realm is a personal and intuitive experience. Trust your instincts and be open to the magic that unfolds. As you deepen your connection with the fairies, you may explore more elaborate rituals and practices.

Fall for me ~ Fairy Prince Shoto 🍂✨

———— Fairy Prince Todoroki Shoto by all accounts shouldn’t have been flying about in your neck of the woods unescorted. He belonged at home with his father in the summer court, or at home in winter’s palace, but not buzzing about in the autumnal forest.

Prince Shoto is known for looking exactly like two fairies spliced together. And as you recover from performing a dare-devil flying loopty-loop to stop yourself from crashing directly into the young man you can see what the people are talking about. You groan brushing yourself off from the crash landing and find yourself blinking wide-eyed like a toad at the Summer Prince. The striking silvery white strands on one side flinging over the part and illuminating the dark ruddy auburn on his other side — but never any red on the right. A famous scar hiding beneath bangs that are coiffed back to the tops of pointy ears — parted directly in the middle of his perfectly symmetrical bone structure were a slim nose nestled. And your eyes trail down to his neck-shoulders-arms-legs all lean muscle like a fine fairy dancer. A limp wrist is hanging over the hilt of a gorgeous winter crafted blade (you would know you’ve visited the winterlands on many occasions)

“Apologizes, I fear — I didn’t mean to frighten you so badly.” He says. You quickly stumble back onto you feet and close the mouth that’s been hanging open, “Oh no!” You wave you hands, leaves on the tree rustling instinctively to your magic. The poplar tree you’re resting on shifting with another sticky sweet breeze of summer — the summer lands. A fairy as powerful as him must bring some of his realm with him. He watches you inquisitively, he’d never seen an autumn fairy up close, merely saw them at the harvest games and whenever he passed through the fall lands to reach his mothers kingdom of winter. He blinked slowly — like a lightening bug after a row of summer sex — at your wings. Autumn fairies were known for being the fastest of all with the slender nature of your wings, the aerodynamic tip and the unique golden shimmer of the veins running along the wing panels. And yours fluttered wildly like a hummingbird — unable to keep still. Your appearance was nothing short of breathtaking with your coppery hair that strung over your shoulder and a dress made of a glowing red autumn maple. Delicate fingers brushing bangs behind your ear as your lips mouth an introduction and Shoto Todoroki found himself with a compulsive shiver at the way your magic seemed to stir something in both halves of him— something he’d never felt before from another fairy. He cleared his throat, steeling the wild reaction of his magics — control had never been an issue before. “— but I must ask what brings you here to autumn Prince Todoroki?” He frowns, he’s never liked the sour taste his fathers name leaves on his lips. “Shoto.” He replies. You blink perplexed, “Call me Shoto.” He clarifies. Your chin tucks into a little nod at this and he notices a strip of pink bandaid across your nose. He huffs a smile — just a bit. The eve of his 22nd birthday is about to arrive: a pivotal moment in the life of a fairy. He must prove himself as worthy for the throne by seeking out trustworthy allies for his fledgling court: he already has a slew of allegiances in both summer and winter — and a far share in spring, but unlike his elder brother, Prince Touya of Winter, he hasn’t had the same ties to autumn. In fact, he’s on his way to the capitol to meet with his brother and his husband, a knight of autumn. “I’m here to meet with my brother, Prince Touya. I hear he’s received well in this realm.” At this your face lights up with familiarity and your wings seem to beat still for a split second. “Naturally — ah, well the capitols in the other direction,” you turned and point north. The rustling leaves overhead fluttering in that direction as Shoto feels the chilled breeze against his neck. He pouts and you giggle, “Hey, it’s my day-off anyway. I’d be happy to take you there myself. It’s only an hours flight —“ you look past him. At his awkwardly arranged wings. One with seering translucence and the other with a frosty sheen, neither one identical in shape. The point of winter, the smooth edges of summer, both a little misshapen. “Perhaps two,” you smile. “Perhaps two,” he nods. And if anything he’s probably going to slow-down on purpose now, just to chat with you some more. Because he’s not sure if this is what his siblings described as love — that rush of blood to the head and this “static vibe” in the air. Detective Conan Fairytale/Fantasy AU ✨

I’ve been thinking of a fantasy themed version of this story that keeps most of the original elements. The setting would be similar to a fairy tale fantasy, and have similar DND world building. The younger characters go to academies that teach magic, fighting, and general education.

Basic Setup:

Shinichi starts to gain popularity for helping out the city’s Knights with tough criminal cases they run into. Shinichi and Ran are students at the city’s academy, and since she wins first place at the knights tournament, he takes her to a special festival to celebrate.

Similar to the original story, he follows the mysterious Black Org men into the woods that appear to be fae messing with humans. He is hit from behind and fed a potion/is cursed with a spell that turns him small versus killing him in a cleaner way that hides their tracks. He goes to get Agasa’s help who is a local genius Wizard/Warlock, who does not initially recognize him as Shinichi due to the strength and complexity of the curse. Shinichi ends up staying Ran and her father, hoping that is private merc/detective business will help get him encounter the mysterious men again. The agency is also probably located on top of a pub that Kogoro frequents too much.

Black Org – Dark fae group that is more malicious against humans, could honestly also be a dark magic witch type cult, but the fae bit does add another element of  creepy mystery that I like…and I like fae stuff. Definitely would have a lot of raven elements weaved into their design. Would be maybe part of the Unseelie Court and the “Boss” Shinichi is trying to bring down is perhaps the king of the court?

Shinichi – More of a smart scholar/strategist that helps out the local knight/guard groups with tougher cases. Could also be a bit of a bard with his violin skills (similar to Raine from Owl House is how I picture that). Would also have basic fighting skills, but would rely on spells Agasa develops in order to make up for his shortcomings.

Ran – Childhood friend of Shinichi and student who is also taking Knight courses. Could also be a fighter type, but I like the idea of her just being hot in armor (and of course she could still kick Shinichi’s ass and he’s into that). Despite being super tough, still switches to dress in cute clothing. She worries that Shinichi might have been spirited away by the fae, or crossed a powerful magical being, but Shinichi is able to eventually get in contact with her with some sending spells/rocks to communicate. Hides who he is from Ran since she’d go in sword blazing to help him out and wants to protect her from his trouble. Is unsure of Ran’s feelings at the beginning of the story, but fantasizes about actually courting her.

Agasa – Kind local Wizard who comes up with experimental spells. Knew Shinichi and Ran when growing up.

Kogoro – Ran’s father who used to work with the city’s knight force, but is in a private mercenary/detective business.

Sonoko – The daughter of the wealthiest merchant (or potentially even a princess which would be fun). Friends with Ran and can hold the occasional masquerade that forces Shinichi and Ran together (the Knight/Princess bit would be a fun thing to be at one of her parties). Also goes to the academy despite her wealth/status. Does the general education track and is not a fighter type, she’s mostly here to be social still. Is enamored with a mysterious thief.

Detective Boys – Local kids who go on small adventures with Conan/Agasa and run into trouble along the way. Agasa might teach them fun spells or things about the fantasy world. In the first school of the city’s Academy.

Heiji – from another city who gets similar fame to Shinichi and comes to challenge him in the same way. Tries and fails to use a glamor spell to be Shinichi one time and is better the next XD Kazuha thinks he’s having an affair with someone he keeps contacting secretly through a sending stone.

Ai – Is a witch & changeling who was taken when she was young and forced to work with the BO until she escapes. She developed the complex spell/potion, and is working with Agasa to make the antidote. The purely scholar type still.

Police Agency – Pretty much the Knights/Captains leading investigations on local spells gone awry, thefts, murder cases, etc…

FBI/CIA groups – could also be another fae group like the Seelie court or another witch coven that works to get the BO taken down. Those that go undercover like Akai/Rei and in the BO are using illusion/glamor spells to help mask their true intent.

Kazuha – fighter type, goes to the local academy with Heiji.

Makoto – still a lovable himbo but a skilled knight/swordsman in this world, starts to court Sonoko after introduced.

Yoko Ono – another funny thing would be if she is even the Princess in this world and Kogoro also still over idolizes her XD

- MK crew - 

Kaito – He goes to an academy in his local city, but also does magic trick street performances. Bit of a rogue type and also still does the phantom thief bit with the City’s Knight Captain Nakamori. I think whether he knows real spells in this world can go either way. His white suit would look more wizard-y/fantasy esque.

Aoko – Friends with Kaito, a regular student who still hates criminals that make her dad look bad.

Akako – still a witch that does black magic, the aesthetic just matches this world more and it’s likely no one realizes how powerful she is like in MK.

annddd this is where I need to pause doodling until I finish some other things I need to do. Separately I might split off a magic academy AU with Owl House/Little Witch Academia vibes 😂

 I’m sure there are folks here that have cool ideas for a setting like this as well and I want to hear them! >:D

Jan boards cuz I saw those gigs videos N conjured up a whole ass AU where our Bojci’s a pretty lil fae boy who lives in a tiny tulip shaped house with Kris deep into the woods of Ljubljana N they causes chaos N get into misadventures in which domestic shenanigans ensues N then Janci gets a black cat! themed one cuz he’s just a fluffy lil black kitty in a trench coat 2 me ☺️☺️) Bojan would make such a pretty fairy N ofc his wings are pink cuz that’s his favourite colour N he’s so slay 4 that N he can use magic 2 play tricks on humans or other fairy’s while also being able 2 attract animals with his voice like a Disney princess,mostly butterflies or dogs afterall we don’t call him baby metulji or a sopping wet puppy 4 nothing (+ in this AU all the guys are fairies aswell N Jure runs a pretty successful restaurant in a little mushroom hut he built where Jan N Nace work N slowly fall 4 eachother where everyone can see they wanna kiss so badly except 4 them,also Käärijä’s apart of this world 2 but he’s a human who can turn into a fairy at will N he causes mischief with Bojan much 2 Kris’s dread after some of the incidents their chaos has caused😅).But Damon’s always there when he needs a break from the two (they sip tea out of lil flower cups N gossip over brunch).Out of all the Sanrio characters Chococat reminds me of Jan the most N they’d probably get along well together,maybe Igor would like the lil guy 2 + I was scrolling 4 what felt 4ever 2 find good pics N came across that photo of a black cat holding a lil teddy bear N KNEW I had 2 use it cuz of his very ✨noteworthy✨ friendship with a certain turtle owning,Pokémon loving,tattoo having,big brown eyed extremely gorgeous bassist who I am definitely normal about <————— (is lying out of their ass N is so so down bad 4 said bassist it’s not even funny).Also that photo of a cat playing the piano was mandatory cuz our beloved Janci is the prettiest piano man of all time N U just know he would get a tattoo of a black cat or Igor playing a guitar (I would fr die N ascend if he actually got a tattoo like DEAR *LORD* 😩😩) if he were a tiny fluffy black kitten tho he would so have huge “no thoughts head empty” eyes that look like plates N would just blink at U if U told him off 4 knocking glasses off the counter or meowing cuz he’s being picky about his food N won’t stop till U buy the food he wants (based on a true story when one of my cats yelled at me 4 an hour all cuz he was being bratty over not having his fave food in so I had 2 head 2 the store in middle of a snowstorm N they didn’t even have the food he wanted 💀).

About 1.3k words about Harriet and Sammy, they are not having fun.

Oh and I did not read this after myself and likely won’t but you have fun! ♥

Harriet stands by the railing of her ship, her dark red cloak almost blending in with the night.

The port is dark and quiet and more unwelcoming than normally, in this odd hour in between the wolf and the dog: The older pirates have fallen asleep or unconscious, drunk, and the littlest children haven’t woken up yet.

So, the port is dark and quiet – save for the occasional thief, of course, and the wailing wind.

Harriet turns away from where she can suspect the faint fairy lights of the Revenge, a shadow of a sneer on her face. She doesn’t think she wants to deal with that tonight – she looks into the waves instead, one hand at the railing and another reaching for her flask. Her lips are mostly numb to the burning liquid when she drinks.

The waves are pretty. Violent and wild and cold, no doubt – the splintered droplets carried by the wind hit her in the face every so often, stinging.

She hides the flask again and leans further in, studying the ever-changing map down there, created and destroyed as the waves pont on Shattered Hope. The water looks so welcoming tonight.

She exhales slowly and closes her eyes for a moment; she thinks there is a small comotion behind her back, hushed voices and steps and opening doors, but she just doesn’t care enough to check.

(She heard one set of footsteps; she has two crewmates keeping watch. This should be fine.)

She opens her eyes again and grabs one of the heavy ropes nearby instead of the wood; she jumps at the railing.

(This should be fine.)

She doesn’t lose her balance.

She supposes she must make quite an image now, standing at the railing and looking into the distance melodramatically, the wind tearing at her hair and her cloak, but– If she strains her eyes enough, she can see the stars, locked forever behind the fucking barrier.

She looks down in the water instead. It looks so very inviting, has she said yet so? She wonders if the ocean would accept her as her mother’s daughter, or if she would just– sink. She wonders if she would care.

Footsteps behind her startle her out of her thoughts, though she doesn’t turn around. She could recognise these footsteps in her sleep. She closes her eyes as her first mate speaks:

„Again?“ her dear Sammy Smee asks and she stubbornly doesn’t turn around still. Sammy waits patiently for an answer and in the silence, she nods, just once. There’s no use in lying, Sammy would know.

The wind blows a stray strand of hair into her face; she lets it be so. It’s a lost battle, anyway.

„Come on, Harriet,“ Sammy speaks again, „Come down.“

Well, have they considered that she is Captain Harriet Hook and she does as she pleases – be it killing anyone who looked at <i>hers</i> wrong, or standing over the ocean, with her head full of alcohol and insistent ideas that won’t go away? They have not, have they.

She grips the rope tighter.

„Back on the ship, Harriet, not down into the ocean. Back on Hope.“

Harriet gives one last wishful look to the waves. „My ship has a full name, Sammy,“ she says.

„I know, Captain,“ they answer, obnoxiously not bothering to correct themselves, „Come back now?“

When she turns around, Sammy holds their hand extended for her to take, to help her down from the railing. (If she loses her balance just a little, well, the wind is at fault, what else?) She doesn’t need any help.

She takes their hand anyway.

„Thanks,“ she says. She pretends the wind stole the word from her lips before she had the chance to swallow it, but, it’s Sammy, and they nod in response. She thinks Sammy is the only person who has heard her say thank you.

She jumps back on board then; the impact makes her stagger and sends a sharp shot of pain to her skull. Fuck. She doesn’t hold back the grimace and the hiss of annoyance and pain.

Sammy squeezes her hand for just a heartbeat and offers: „Let’s get some water? And something to eat?“

„I’m not hungry,“ answers Harriet, because she is not.

„I haven’t seen you at any meals with the crew, and I didn’t bring you any food today. And you didn’t eat on your own, did you?“

„…I’m not hungry,“ she answers again, as she has nothing better to say. She thinks she saw the crew gathering to eat at some point, but she was only just going away, to do the rounds around her territory or maybe to deliver supplies for Ginny at the Escape – the winter has been long and hard, and Ginny can use anything they can get. And as for the first one, maybe she just likes going around and terrifying people, and can you blame her?

„The water, Captain,“ Sammy insists, „And some bread. Marya said bread with salt helps with nausea. Okay?“ They look at her and Harriet finds she doesn’t have the strength to argue with her first mate right now.

They walk to the kitchen, where Sammy quickly gets a glass of water and some bread, and they exit on board again; Harriet doesn’t need to feel more trapped than she already is.

They sit by the command bridge, backs against the wall, and Sammy gives her the water, which she doesn’t even try to improve with the remnants from her flask, please, she has some class! Never even mind Sammy.

She even eats about half of the bread before she tries to give it to Sammy, and hey, it’s not like Sammy is not trying to give their meals to their little brothers any time they get. She’s doing them a favour, really.

(She– she tries to make sure there is enough food for everyone, but the winter has been long and the adults as greedy and vicious as ever and she can’t keep track of how time works– She glances out to the ocean again.)

„Absolutely not, Harriet!“ Sammy pushes her hand with the bread away and they bicker for a while, though: She is the Captain. She gets what she wants, and they both know it.

Eventually, silence falls again; Harriet raises one of her hands to her temple, as if that’d do anything against the ocean calling to her. She covers her ear.

„You want me to get Anthony?“ offers Sammy, even though she knows they’d rather have their teeth pulled than go get Anthony Tremaine for her. She takes it as the distraction it is.

„Why not Ginny?“ she asks, looking at her first mate from the side.

„Ginny’s no good for you–“ they grumble.

„You’re just saying it cos she keeps smoking weed inside and you can’t stand the smell.“

„Well maybe!“

Notably, Harriet doesn’t laugh, instead she gasps out „Sam!“  doing her best to mimic genuine shock and outrage, as if they’ve greatly offended her. She knocks down the glass – an accident.

Sammy gives her a look and gets up to refill the glass; she drinks from her flask again, when they can’t see. Just as she can’t see the stars, not really.

But they’re back before she can spiral further, they sit next to her and take her hand, acting as her anchor.

„Well?“ They ask, „Do you want me to get any of them? Anthony or Ginny?“

„…Nah,“ Harriet breathes out and leans her head against the wall. „But?“

„Hmm?“

She looks at her first mate and then away again as she says: „But… Stay with me?“

Sammy raises their hands, their fingers weaved together, as if to make a point. „You know I always do, Captain,“ they say with a smile that doesn’t reach their eyes.

She presses their fingers against her cheek and doesn’t smile either as she whispers her  „thanks.“

They stay together until the sun comes up.
