Alright so I mentioned before that in my universe, female mews can breed with other Pokémon and their offspring will take on some traits of the other parent. I drew up some concepts of what other mews might look like. We have a pidgeotto, typhlosion, nidoqueen, decidueye, dedenne and spinda. So yes, the gender of the other Pokémon doesn’t matter, how it works tho, I have no idea lol.

If you wanna follow the rules I did, here they are: -They can’t breed with normal Pokémon in the no egg group but I think legendaries are okay if there is more than one of them (so they can’t breed with say dialga but they could breed with like a Zapdos since there is more than one in the world)

-Also they have to have their mew color as the main one (ranging from pinks, purples, and blues)

Killing hasn't been something that bothers him since he has been taught it's a killed or be killed world. However, underneath his harden exterior is a avian that is a stern leader with a strong sense of honor. If you lose a battle, he doesn't react with annoyance or rage. In fact, he carry great pride for anyone who can hold their own against him. Occasionally, Rui does maintain his "ruthless" demeanor as part of his twisted sense of humor.

ive been sooo bad at posting my pkmn scarlet shiny hunts on here (i’ll have them listed properly on my site sometime flgkfh i haven’t updated that page since. before gen9 dropped. help) but this one is mega special so i Simply Must. 

for a bit of background info - my dnd oc reides has a fae owl familiar named pepega! she is very cute and beloved and i typically name Various Owls after her (e.g. my rowlet starter in legends arceus is named after her! she’s a hisuian decidueye now). but i’ve wanted to do a hunt for a shiny rowlet FOREVER so that i could name it after her, bc i most strongly associate her fae vibes with this sparkly little green owl orb. 

HOWEVER!!! the thing is!!! pepega is a girl, so i needed my shiny rowlet to be a girl too. i was scared of doing this hunt for that reason bc of the rowlet spawn gender ratio (12.5% chance of a girl. weeps. it was like my male corsola hunt only even more brutal since male corsola have a 25% chance of hatching, and like i mentioned in the post i made for him, i ended up shiny hunting for him in crystal so that i could guarentee a male spawn even if my odds were worse.) but after doing a bunch of diff hunts i felt powerful and decided to go for it anyway!!!!

at first i tried doing the massive mass outbreak method in legends arceus but it was NOT going well (luckily i managed to get one shiny little owl lad though - but i could NOT tell you how many encounters he took, luck was rly just not with me) so i swapped over to doing the masuda method over in scarlet. and i finally got my shiny female rowlet tonight!! she was the 1664th rowlet egg! LMAO i got the first boy at ~360 eggs, the second boy at ~1020 eggs, and the third one at ~1350 eggs! 

this was definitely my longest egg hunt but it was SO iconic. i ran into so many random shinies including my FOURTH random shiny lechonk, two deerlings within 10 mins of each other (IN TOTALLY DIFFERENT AREAS OF PALDEA!!), and lots of outbreak shinies too. i loved it sooo much and it makes pepega the shiny rowlet even more special <3 

im super excited for the whole family to be reunited once home is finally implemented for gen9!!! i plan on keeping them all as rowlets, too!

Brief Personality: Aiki is lost. When Aiki was growing up she was a little bit of a piece of shit. Constantly teasing and prodding at people for the attention she severely lacked. But after the mountain, something changed in them. When they fell they had no memories of their past life, and when she got them back, she now didn’t know what to do with that part of her that showed up when she was scattered. She is still stubborn as ever, and after being abandoned in a village she called her home, she is more lost than ever before.

Brief Backstory:

Aiki was orphaned with her older sister shortly after she was born. She was raised by her grandfather, and was always surrounded by Pokemon from a very long age. Aiki however, didn’t know how to bond with them. Aiki did not have a good relationship with her family, and when she was younger she ended up being a bit of an ass. She wanted to be the best that no one ever was, and ended up becoming the champion of the region for a time.

Except, her rival, and childhood enemy, Cara. Ended up defeating her, and becoming the champion. Aiki was devastated at her defeat, going back home ashamed. Her grandfather paid more attention to the new champion than to comfort his granddaughter.

However, Cara disappeared.. at first people thought she was just traveling the world due to her new found fame. However after two years, Aiki got incredibly worried. I mean she didn’t CARE or anything.. Yknow it was just kinda weird… nothing deeper… it’s fine..

Aiki ended up going to the neighboring country Johto in order to find Cara, eventually finding her on the top of a mountain, alone. Aiki ended up battling Cara, and losing, having some major injuries from the fight, she remembers passing out with Cara standing above her. Aiki does not remember what happened after that, as it was all a giant blur of pixels and static.

One of my favorite things about creating Pokémon crossovers is creating a team for non-Pokémon characters that best fits them.

However, creating Ahsoka's Hisui team was a little more challenging than other times, but it was still very fun.

The first challenge was that every Pokémon on her team had to be ones only found in the Hisui Pokédex, so while that did mean I didn't have to dive into the pool of the over 1,000 Pokémon (and dang, ain't it crazy we've finally reached that mark?) to search who could best fit in Ahsoka's team, that did mean I was limited to only the 242 that roamed Hisui. Even less, actually, because I didn't want to give Ahsoka any kind of Mythical or Legendary on her permanent team.

The next challenge was one I actually imposed on myself purely for aesthetic reasons: I wanted each member of Ahsoka's team to be from a different part of Hisui, no repeats! If two Pokémon on her team are both from Obsidian Fieldlands then that's a no-no! Mainly because I really like the idea of a Pokémon team comprised of every part of Hisui, like, Ahsoka was able to piece an amazing team, a family, together by taking one piece from each of the radically different areas of Hisui.

Another challenge was that the team had to, of course, be balanced. Thanks to her time as a commander of the Grand Republic, Ahsoka would understand that she would need to be able to cover all her bases, this time being the 18 different types of Pokémon, and, of course, it still has to be a bit realistic on why Ahsoka can beat so many different types of Pokémon so of course she has to have a pretty varied team. This was also partly self-imposed because I actually have a small history of creating competitively viable Pokémon for post-game stuff like the Battle Tree and has still stuck with me, particularly in the fact that whenever I play through a Pokémon game now, I always try to make sure there isn't any type overlap at all.

Here is what I have so far!

From Jubilife Village is Ahsoka's starter: Hisuian Decidueye!

His gender is male and his name is Rowan!

I, of course, had to give Ahsoka the literal green owl for obvious reasons *cough*Morai*cough*, but there's also the fact that Rowan is a Grass-type, who would likely have a deep connection to life and the natural world and therefore the Force; becomes a Fighting-type, which perfectly fits with Ahsoka's skills in hand-to-hand combat (I like to imagine that when Rowan is fully evolved, they both having sparring matches against each other :) ); and I feel like Hisuian Decidueye and Ahsoka have similar color schemes!

From the Obsidian Fieldlands comes one of Ahsoka's first captures: Luxray!

I don't particularly know which gender they gonna be, but I'm leaning towards female for reasons explained further.

Their name will be Luka!

This particular Luxray will actually be the Shinx that you catch as part of your test to the Galaxy Team!

There are quite a few reasons why I gave Ahsoka a Luxray. One of them is why I'm considering them to be female because female lions (which is what Luxray is partly based on) are the primary hunters in lion prides and the togrutas, like Ahsoka, are also hunters!

Another reason is that I headcanon togrutas (and therefore Ahsoka) as having many cat-like traits, so I was very compelled to give Ahsoka a cat-like Pokémon.

I also really love the image of Ahsoka riding a Luxray!

From the Crimson Mirelands comes a Pokémon who hides their real strength under their cute charm: Sylveon!

She is female, but I am not fully set on a name yet. I am considering Davina (shortened to Ina sometimes) though!

It was honestly super hard to find a Pokémon from the Crimson Mirelands that could fit on the team, either because I just didn't think they would fit Ahsoka or because their typings already covered a team member.

So thank goodness for rifts in space-time I guess, since this Sylveon is from an Eevee that Ahsoka caught when she explored her very first Space-Time Distortion!

I understand why some might not understand why I picked Sylveon, but I have my reasons.

One of those reasons is the parallel Sylveon and Ahsoka has. Ahsoka in Clone Wars often got underestimated by her opponents because of how young she was, but that didn't exactly stop her from being able to hold her own against Ventress, Grievous, dozens of run-ins with bounty hunters, two years of war, and hundreds, if not, thousands of battle droids (I would also like to at least mention Darth Maul because even though that hasn't happened yet I still feel like it's worth mentioning that she beat him when she was only 17). As an Eevee, Davina would also likely get underestimated for how cute and non-threatening she looked, and it was a bit of a struggle since she was an Eevee. But then, she evolves into a Sylveon who, while looking even more cute and "non-threatening", now has the power to be able to go toe-to-toe with giant, f**k you, Dragon-types :) and even demolish them!

There's also Sylveon's feelers, which can be used to help her in fights or calm fights. The latter, mixed with Sylveon's often associated with light Fairy-typing, would maybe remind Ahsoka of what being a Jedi, a good Jedi, is like.

Speaking of Sylveon's feelers, I really love the image of Ahsoka feeling sad or waking up from a nightmare that puts her in a panic attack (because fighting a galaxy-wide war since you were 14 is not mentally healthy for anyone, at all) and then Davina wraps her feelers around Ahsoka and she calms down and she thanks her, it-it's just a really cute image that I love :).

This is one of the bigger reasons I chose Sylveon. I really wanted to give Ahsoka a Pokémon that evolved with high friendship for... reasons I feel like I should explain in a future post cause this could cause some discourse.

These last two reasons are a bit small, but I still love them a lot!

Another reason is that, whenever Sylveon open their mouths, you can actually see that they have fangs, which not only reference their hidden ferocity, but also is something that Davina will have in common with Ahsoka, since I headcanon that togruta have fangs/lots of sharp teeth (I know that Ahsoka is constantly shown with teeth that look human but canon also states that her species is very carnivorous so she should get fangs!). They are both fanged babies!

Another reason is that I believe that, since Sylveon is partially based on a rabbit (I mean, look at those ears), I feel like they would have impressive hearing, very similar to togrutas and their montrals, which allow them echolocate.

I'd go over the last three members for Ahsoka's team but this post got surprisingly long, so I'm gonna end it here for now. Hopefully I'll be able to post up the rest of Ahsoka's possible team members, but, for now, please tell me what you think of my picks so far! Have any suggestions? Please let me know!

Favorite paldean pkmn 🤔

OBVIOUSLY, the Tinkaton line is forever become one of my favorites. It's a gremlin fairy that makes hammers and like, my first reaction to seeing Tinkatuff (because my friend, Ali, was on a Pokedex filling spree and often evolved her Pokemon first before mine and showed it off to me, which helped me avoid spoilers) was "OH MY GOD SHE"S SO BUTCH I LOVE HER"

like the softest of butches with a love for pink and hammers, I LOVE HER SO MUCH. ahhhh

Flamigo is like...I love Flamingos so much. They are WEIRD birds. I love birds, but Flamigo is also your amigo who kicks the shit out of things. It's nice to give Hawlucha another fighty bird friend, alongside Blaziken, Hisuian Decidueye, and Quaquaval.

SPEAKING OF QUAQUAVAL, I love this bird line so much. My reaction to Quaxwell was "OH MY GOD, IT LOOKS SO DOOFY I LOVE HER" and the fact that she does ballet poses???? I kept resetting for a female Quaxly so I could name her Ahiru from Princess Tutu (was saving Hololive's duck, Subaru, for a different run). So finding out the Quaxly line turned into Dancer was a NICE surprise!!!

Quaxwell might've been peak puberty stage (some middle stages are so OBVIOUSLY like the biggest puberty stages for some mons), but then info came out on Crocalor, and the little guy actually SCREAMS whenever they use their fire, because it['s close to their vocal cords. And their voice can be destructive, not that beautiful and soothing as it later becomes Skeledirge. (side note, I love the Dia de los Muertos/Mariachi combo going on with the Fuecoco line - my indigenous mexican ass is proud of this mariachi croc with its fire birdy friend)

Quaquaval is like my samba friend, I love them so much. The way it always dances, and just poses. Hypes you up sometimes lmao. :D

I love the Wattrel line, but also Kilowattrel is SO FUCKING HUGE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

During my Nuzlocke, I caught a nearby Maschiff, ignoring my dupes clause because I didn't want to go through the effort of leveling up the one in the box since she was level 10, so I decided "alright, I need someone for Tulip - named Tuli in Spanish - SO COME HERE CHUNGI"

this was shortly after Larry killed my Kilowattrel (by the by, these birds are SO fragile), and I wasn't expecting to get so DAMN attached, like "I will literally die for Chungi" and he made it with me to the final battle.

Had all the fang moves, and had Guard Dog as an ability. So it was like Chungi just wanted to protecc. (he was also like one of my tankiest mons because I gave him the assault vest)

Also the Smoliv line - like I love them all so much, my little boy, Manzanilla (fun fact - there is a Spanish olive called manzanilla) was the one who didn't get used as often as my Tinkaton, but whenever he came out, he would always end up saving my ass. I got into a position come the POkemon League, where I was like "oh fuck, I don't have any moves for you and I can't be assed to collect materials to craft more TMs...have this Reflect on me"

literally have been saved by my Arboliva so much. I have such a soft spot for this little doll-like olive line. It's really nice. (hilariously enough, I keep running into male Smoliv when I was shiny hunting, despite the 50/50 on gender, this is the opposite for Flittle and Espathra, I run into less male than female, despite it being 50/50)

I love Koraidon a lot too, I love how doofy it is when it runs and swims. But the way it climbs, LIKE I CAN SEE ITS PADS ON ITS FEET.

And then there's the Nacli line, who I kept calling Minecraft, despite giving mine a name (I had to go catch another after I lost my first one, and like, she didn't get used as much as her predecessor, but I still appreciated her presence). I love them. Salty boys that made me go "oh this is perfect for me" since i plan on going back to finish my chemistry degree and HAVE worked as a lab technician. :V

i love these guys so much....Paldea is fun, and I also absolutely LOVE Gholdengo. Fun fact: it turns out I am less than a hundred coins away from getting one, which is funny cuz I was like, around my friends, "how many coins do I have? lol not e fucking nough"

Idk HOW, but god damn, I am SO CLOSE. Scarnoa is definitely getting a Gholdengo (as well as a Smoliv and Tinkatink).

Super random but I'm currently reading Bulbepedia's page on gender in Pokemon and I was reminded of the time when kid me placed two male Pokemon at the Day Care and was confused to why all of my Pokemon preferred to play with each other because like bitch??? You all have been travelling together for quite a while what do you mean you all want to play with others???

It was only many years later did I learn that the playing with each other is the breeding mechanic-

Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Yandere-like behavior, Stalking, Obsession, Delusional behavior, Unrequited love, Obsession at first sight.

- Normally a fully fledged Decidueye can fend for themselves.

- They are accustomed to their agility and good with their assigned bow.

- Yet... sometimes they find opponents they can't shake off.

- Such as fire types-

- It just so happens this Decidueye managed to encounter a Baile Oricorio that was a little too skilled....

- The ranger bird is suffering from strong burns, cornered by the dancing flame wielding Pokemon.

- Then, an arrow comes whizzing by, scaring the fire type away quickly.

- They think it's a fellow Decidueye until you come out of the bushes.

- Your bow is crafted well and you look skilled .

- They give a small smile at your concerned expression.

- "A little help...? These burns are... really bad-"

- That's how you meet the fellow ranger.

- Except this ranger is a Pokemon, one who's extremely thankful you brought them to a Pokemon center to heal.

- Their burns are much better and they are in a better mood.

- Once they're healed they meet up with you.

- You're indulging in some target practice, only snapped out of it when an arrow lands beside yours.

- Turning, you meet the Pokemon you saved.

- "Greetings, I thought I'd give thanks for helping me out back there. Normally I am much better at fighting."

- "No problem. I couldn't just watch you get hurt."

- Your words please the fully evolved Pokemon.

- Feeding ever so slightly into their obsession.

- You'd think this would be the last time you saw the Pokemon.

- Turns out, they meet you at the shooting range all the time.

- Sitting all perched on a chair until they see you approach.

- Then they get up and flash you a charming smile.

- "Hello again, interested in some friendly target practice?"

- Not wishing to turn them down you join them.

- It's a repetitive routine that happens daily.

- While you both practice your skills you talk about your day.

- The Decidueye wishing to hear all about you.

- All you really got from them was that they lived in the area and were around the woods a lot.

- They never wanted the conversation about them, only you.

- "I lived in the forest ever since I was a young Rowlet! That's all you need to know, really. What about you? How'd you get so good at a bow?"

- They seemed harmless at first.

- Goofy and a bit clumsy, even.

- But things turned more sinister when you noticed them following you.

- Ever so quietly Decidueye would follow you.

- Wanting to learn more and more about you...

- Where was your home?

- Did you have any other Pokemon?

- Ever feel lonely?

- It got to the point you needed to arm yourself with your bow and hide in your home.

- Occasionally seeing the Pokemon peek in your window to search for you.

- Stalking you like some hunter looking for prey....

- It'll only be a matter of time before they find a way to break in.

- "I know you're in there, my savior. Is my adoration for you too obvious? Maybe too intense? I don't wish to hurt you... so could you please open the door?"

I love The Owl House and I've always loved Pokémon so I had fun thinking about what the companions of four of TOH's main characters could be. Let's start with Luz Noceda.

Her name means light, so it was mandatory to include an electric type pkm, I chose Pichu because being a little mouse connects with the fact that Luz has an Echo mouse. Noctowl and Houndour of course I chose them in relation to Hooty and King. Solrock because it's paired with Lunatone (that I associated with Amity) and from the name it reminds of the sun, therefore the light. Leafeon I chose because of Luz's friendship with Willow, who uses grass magic and because I wanted her to have an Eevolution. Lastly Unown, of which I chose the letter L, because it reminds me of the glyphs Luz uses.

Let's move on to Edalyn Clawthorne, the Owl Lady.

Her pokémon reflect both herself and her connections. So we have Hoothoot and Cubone representing Hooty and King, while Decidueye, Talonflame and Hoopa representing her. Specifically, I chose Hoopa because of its rings, reminiscent of those used to cast spells, Talonflame because it's a fire type pkm (magic that Eda often uses). Last but not least, I chose Applin because Eda is crazy for Apple Blood (thanks to Raine).

Not to miss Luz's no longer rival but amazing girlfriend, Amity Blight!

Her theme is the color purple, so her pokémon almost all reflect this pattern. Muk and Ditto were the first ones I thought of because they both look like abominations, while Glameow I chose because Amity's palisman is a cat. Mismagius obviously because it looks like a witch itself and Espeon because I wanted Amity to have an Eevolution too and the color was perfect. Lunatone because Amity is associated with the Moon (her clothes often have accessories with that shape) and then it pairs with Luz's Solrock. Both are shiny to emphasize the bond between the two girls.

We made it to the last character Raine Whispers, who was also the one who inspired me in making this post. Obviously all of their pokémon are related to music, so it was pretty easy to choose them, although compared to the post I wrote on Twitter, I made a small change here.

Let's start with an unmissable choice, Jigglypuff, with its sweet little voice, I couldn't help but include it. Kricketune I chose in place of Loudred, the cricket is shaped like a violin and is therefore more suitable for Raine. Chingling, Chatot and Meloetta are obviously all music related and Chatot is also a bird so there is a connection to Eda in this case, and Meloetta I chose shiny because it has the same hair color as Raine. The least obvious maybe is Primarina, but I definitely wanted a water type pkm because in the episode where Eda and Raine met, Raine demonstrates Bard magic by changing the taste of a drink with sound waves. Primarina is perfect because it's a musical pkm, as well as a water type, plus is gender non-conforming.

Recently evolved my Rowlet in a Moon Nuzlocke and was reminded of how much Dartrix disappoints me (mainly due to the big disconnect from either of its other stages, the awkward facial expression and the complete loss of Rowlet’s charm), and my mind refused to focus on anything else until I’d gotten the ideas down. I give you, Dartrix 2.0. Since Decidueye had Robin Hood inspiration, and one of Robin Hood’s numerous alternative backstories is of former nobility, I decided on adding a bit more of a classy/fancy vibe to Dartrix, except more of modern formal clothing (as opposed to old-fashioned nobility) to work with the waistcoat appearance its design already had going on.

The leaf crown ended up looking like the frills on a fancy bonnet, so I chose to do gendered forms and gave the male a kind of sleeked hair-gel look. I know gendered forms are unlikely for starter evolutions, but I couldn’t choose between the two leaf crown designs and it’s my wish fulfilment so I’ll do what I want, dammit!

This has probably already been done before but idgaf; I need to get this idea out of my head and over with. Maybe I’ll do some sketches to see how the design works out personality-wise.

awhile back, i coined the genders mewic and mewtwoic, and i wanted to coin more pokemon genders like those! there are quite a few pokemon genders, but i’ve noticed that a lot of them have specific details added to them. i like the idea of very general descriptions like these, which allow people to use their own interpretation of these pokemon in relation to their gender!. i’m probably going to coin more of these, which i’m now calling pokeic genders!
