Story Prompt 46

Late at night, the air hung heavy with a sense of impending doom. Fumbling with their belongings, the person muttered to themselves, "It's so late. Mom's gonna kill me if I'm not home soon."

Suddenly, a dark figure emerged from the shadows – an ex-lover, a villain in their own right. "Oh wow, you've grown since our love fell apart," sneered the figure, their voice dripping with malice.

Heart pounding, the person began packing up, preparing for a hasty retreat. "Welp, time to head out," they muttered, trying to keep their voice steady.

But the villain had other plans. With a swift motion, they lunged forward, grabbing the person by the throat and silencing protests with a firm grip. Struggling against the villain's hold, panic rose like a tidal wave.

As the person was dragged away, their mind raced with fear and uncertainty. Tossed into a car, the engine roared to life, speeding off into the night. A sinking feeling overcame them as they realized they were being taken to a strange and foreboding place.

"Mmm!" the person muffled, their voice stifled by the villain's hand over their mouth. The villain chuckled darkly, removing the mask with a cruel twist. "Oh, don't be so loud, dear," they taunted, eyes gleaming with malice. "The party's just getting started."

Mind whirling with a mix of anger and fear, the person demanded answers. "Where am I? Why did you kidnap me, you psycho?" they shouted, their voice shaking with emotion. But the villain only grinned, reveling in the chaos they had unleashed.
