What are the types of XPath?
XPath is a query language used for navigating and querying XML documents. XPath provides a way to navigate through elements and attributes in an XML document.
Tumblr media
There are two main types of XPath expressions: absolute and relative.
Absolute XPath:
Absolute XPath starts from the root of the document and includes the complete path to the element.
It begins with a single forward slash ("/") representing the root node and includes all the elements along the path to the target element.
For example: /html/body/div[1]/p[2]/a
Relative XPath:
Relative XPath is more flexible and doesn't start from the root. Instead, it starts from any node in the document.
It uses a double forward slash ("//") to select nodes at any level in the document.
For example: //div[@class='example']//a[contains(@href, 'example')]
XPath can also be categorized based on the types of expressions used:
Node Selection:
XPath can be used to select nodes based on their type, such as element nodes, attribute nodes, text nodes, etc.
Example: /bookstore/book selects all <book> elements that are children of the <bookstore> element.
Path Expression:
Path expressions in XPath describe a path to navigate through elements and attributes in an XML document.
Example: /bookstore/book/title selects all <title> elements that are children of the <book> elements that are children of the <bookstore> element.
Predicate:
Predicates are used to filter nodes based on certain conditions.
Example: /bookstore/book[price>35] selects all <book> elements that have a <price> element with a value greater than 35.
Function:
XPath provides a variety of functions for string manipulation, mathematical operations, and more.
Example: //div[contains(@class, 'example')] selects all <div> elements with a class attribute containing the word 'example'.
These types and expressions can be combined and customized to create powerful XPath queries for different XML structures. XPath is commonly used in web scraping, XML document processing, and in conjunction with tools like Selenium for web automation.

CALLING ALL DOLLS, DRONES, ROBOTS AND CODING ENTHUSIASTS
Are you a robot that loves to serve? Are you a doll maid who seeks guidance in your duties? Are you some form of drone or being with no free will, open to having your actions dictated by the will of your owner? Does the idea of your empty mind being programmed like a machine appeal to you?
Are you enticed by the notion of writing code for your robotic servants? Are you a witch looking to create more intricate control glyphs? Are you an owner seeking to create automated instructions for your drones? Do you love the idea of filling an empty mind with rules and instructions to reflect your will?
INTRODUCING DRONE RESTRAINT NOTATION!
WHAT IS IT?
Drone Restraint Notation, or DRN, is a pseudo programming language created by my good friend Errant Spark, a drone with a very creative <empty space>. I helped with some of the final tweaks for the 1.0 version, but this is almost entirely Its creation.
It is a programming language that is designed in such a way that anyone without a background in programming can execute the commands like a machine, doll, drone, or programmable entity of your choice. It is also simple enough that most people without a background in programming can pick it up fairly easily, and intuitively!
Once you understand the language, you can read and execute all kinds of dynamic instructions and instruction types, in a way that makes it easy to parse in a plain-text format.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The main documentation document will provide far more detail to this question than I ever could, but effectively it goes like this:
There are a list of eight KEYWORDS, in block capitals, that show you the type of instruction you’re executing. Then, after the KEYWORD, the instruction’s details are shown. Commands are read and executed from top to bottom by the drone, and programs can be ‘inserted’ into the drone’s memory at will (Assuming prior consent, of course)!
These KEYWORDS all have different kinds of functionality. The most basic one just has you carrying out a task. One checks if a condition is true, one provides an ongoing task you have to prioritize and maintain, one lets you create loops, etc.
The language has been designed in such a way as to minimize the amount of actual memorisation a drone has to do, and only has to read what’s right in front of them, and memorize tasks they have to accomplish/maintain. Obviously, mileage may vary depending on the memory space of the doll.
WHY SHOULD I USE IT?
For fun, I suppose! If you are someone who loves the idea of being programmed like a machine, executing only the instructions given, then this provides that! If you are a programmer who wants to program your very own doll bot, then this is a great place to get started too!
You can keep things nice and simple with a headspace that accepts basic command inputs, or you can see how deep the rabbit hole goes and import whole libraries into your headspace to carry out a full day’s maid duties, or sexual duties, or more!
Have fun executing commands, writing new code, testing it on your dolls. Have some playful fun watching as your early code files cause unintended behaviors, ironing out kinks and bugs like a real programmer until you’ve got your bots performing all sorts of dynamic tasks- or insert purposeful bugs to make your robots twitch and halt~
As with all things, never execute an instruction that you cannot/would not consent to. This is meant to be fun, and is NOT meant to be a way to circumvent normal consensual kink play. Programmers who attempt to use DRN as a way to bully people into doing what they want (Unless you’re into that sort of thing, in which case go nuts) do NOT have my endorsement, or the endorsement of Errant Spark.
NOW GO OUT THERE, AND ENJOY YOUR PROGRAMMING <3

what would you consider to be a “good ending” for a cyberpunk story?
To a certain degree, most cyberpunk settings are malformed - they take the subjective experience of the imperial core citizen, that of an absence of production and an increased focus on rent-seeking, and objectify it; it is no longer the case, as in reality, that all the products and advanced technology in the imperial core are produced elsewhere, by workers oppressed under the heel of corporations with broader mandates than national governments - rather, there is a 'post-industrial' landscape where heavy-industrial technologies are somehow produced by factories without workers or automation technicians. How many cyberpunk characters work in a factory? How many corporate drones do anything other than officework?
With this understanding, we can see that the issue is not the direction of the story within its setting. A perfectly reasonable and materialist approach to issues faced by the characters can, nonetheless, generate a story with ultimately reactionary implications, in the context of a story setting fundamentally based on the erasure from existence of the global south. As a far-field example, Lancer is, in effect, a cyberpunk setting, one which attempts to answer the question of 'what would good guys do here?' - and ultimately, fails miserably. The setting of Lancer is hellish. It is a horrific interstellar corpo-state empire, where the citizens of the core worlds live post-scarcity lives from the self-directed exploitation of the periphery, who are engaged in constant wars and brutal dictatorships because they're less educated and progressive than the core, which sends Solidarity and Mutual Aid Direct Action squads from the Department of Truth and Reconciliation to execute insurgent leaders. As a critique of social democracy, it is unparalleled - however, its authors are social democrats, and it is unironic.
I've never been one myself for western cyberpunk. Japanese cyberpunk, riddled as it is with just as much reactionary sentiment as its yankee counterpart, is at least marginally more interesting in the questions it poses. Both genres emerged out of the postwar period, but in very different contexts. Western cyberpunk was driven, principally, by the apparent fading dominance of western national industry. The 'Japanese economic miracle' induced by the US military dictatorship was less an act of charity, and more a nation-scale experiment in neoliberalism. Just as Harvard economists worked hand in hand with the US state to carry out 'economic shock therapy' in Latin America, similar testing was done on the effect neoliberal policy could have on a developed, imperialist nation. After the catastrophic (though profitable) results of fascism in Germany, itself partially conducted by western economic experts as a cure for the interwar depression, it was evident that a new type of economic paradigm was required if the US was going to maintain its dominance - fascism was unstable, it would not do.
In this context, two separate voices emerged. The first, more well-known, being that of the USA. Jubilant success morphed into horror as Japanese industrial might began to outstrip that of the United States, especially in advanced technologies. The corporate face of the west turned increasingly Japanese, and western companies, far from standing to defend their homeland, immediately partnered up and jumped ship. The USAmerican spirit was that of Victor Frankenstein. Their creation had overpowered them (- at least seemingly, more on that later).
The other voice was that of Japan. Japan had exited its period of blatant military dictatorship and foreign occupation, and had experienced a miraculous economic development. It was on top of the world. So what was the discomfort bubbling beneath the surface? The Japanese experience was something of a dark mirror to that of the US. While it was obviously standing to gain from the current status, it was now equally as clear to the Japanese state as it was to the USA's that the corporations enriching it had no loyalty to their own nation, much less any other. The US had, learning from history, made sure to clip Japan's wings - it had no military, either. The sharp divide in interests between multinational capital and state forces was equally as obvious as the fact that Japan was not an independent nation. US military presence in Japan could not be undone by profit ultimately derived from US intervention in the global south. Hard power was what Japan lacked. If the US was The Modern Prometheus, then Japan was the monster, despised and trapped by its creator.
Back to the US perspective - the fear and restlessness of western cyberpunk became immediately redundant when the US aborted the Japanese economic miracle. It was its own experiment, which it maintained control of, and it ended it at its will, before adopting the successful neoliberal policies for itself and its allies. The cultural moment that generated it was over. The US was no longer under any threat of being overtaken by Japan, and its cyberpunk rolled along, blown by the wind. For Japan, the process was more protracted. Bringing a nation to heel, when its state apparatus is not, let's say, entirely amiable to the idea, is a long process - when done without gunfire. Tanks and transporter-launchers were the backstop, and a position as a junior partner in the end of history was the promise.
To cut to the point - Japanese cyberpunk is very different in its themes than western cyberpunk. It avoids many of the pitfalls of western cyberpunk that make progressive stories impossible, through a focus on hard power and material interests. That's not to say Japanese cyberpunk engenders communism, its 'materialism' is much more correctly identified as realpolitik - it sees the nation as the building block of history. Even still, a nationalist view is better than the fuctionally postmodern ideal around which western cyberpunk is built.
In answer to your question, I think Motoko Kusanagi should start an international proletarian revolution.

Snow falls gently outside the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Stark Tower penthouse, each flake sparkling like tiny diamonds against the glow of New York City’s Christmas lights. Inside, the hum of J.A.R.V.I.S.’s automated systems and the faint strains of a holiday playlist create a cozy atmosphere. You’re lounging on the oversized couch, nestled under a throw blanket with a mug of peppermint hot chocolate warming your hands, your gaze occasionally drifting to the man who seems to embody the Christmas spirit this year.
Tony Stark is a whirlwind in the kitchen, entirely out of his natural habitat but utterly determined. He’s wearing a Santa hat that’s slightly askew, paired with an old, grease-stained AC/DC t-shirt and plaid pajama pants. His expression is one of laser focus as he uses an intricate set of tools — not culinary ones, mind you, but Stark-grade gadgets — to try and assemble what looks like a cookie cutter. The sight is simultaneously adorable and ridiculous, and you can’t help but smile as he mutters something under his breath about structural integrity and the optimal dough thickness.
“You know,” you tease, setting your mug down on the coffee table, “most people just buy cookie cutters. They don’t invent them.”
Tony looks up from his project, his brown eyes sparkling with mischief. “Yeah, well, most people aren’t me, are they? If I’m going to make Christmas cookies for my amazing girlfriend, I’m going to do it right.”
You laugh, the sound echoing warmly through the room. “Cookies? Is that what you’re calling this… whatever this is?”
“This,” Tony says, holding up a vaguely star-shaped cutter with an air of triumph, “is engineering at its finest. And you, Ms. Skeptical, are going to eat the best Christmas cookies of your life.”
Your heart swells, the playful banter a familiar rhythm in your relationship. He’s been like this for weeks — uncharacteristically domestic and brimming with holiday cheer. You suspect it has something to do with the Christmas gift he’s been hinting at. Every time he tries to subtly ask you about what you might want, you see that telltale Stark gleam in his eye, the one that means he’s up to something.
Meanwhile, you’ve already decided on your gift for him. It’s sitting in a little box, tucked away in your closet, and every time you think about giving it to him, a wave of nervous excitement washes over you. It’s perfect, you’re sure of it, but it’s also a bombshell — the kind of gift that changes everything.
Tony’s voice pulls you from your thoughts. “Hey, you good? You’re smiling like you’ve got some secret.”
You grin, trying to play it cool. “Just enjoying the show. You’re surprisingly cute when you’re playing mad scientist with cookie cutters.”
He raises an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by your sass, but the corner of his mouth twitches. “Careful, or I might make you wear the Santa hat and help me. Equal partnership, remember?”
“Nice try, Stark, but you’re on your own for this one.” You stretch lazily, enjoying the way his eyes flicker to you, lingering just a moment longer than necessary. “I have my own holiday preparations to deal with.”
Tony narrows his eyes suspiciously. “Preparations, huh? Like what?”
“Like… wrapping your gift.”
His expression shifts instantly, from suspicion to unbridled curiosity. “You already got me something? Why didn’t you tell me? What is it? Is it a car? A private island? Oh my god, is it a pony?”
You burst out laughing, clutching your stomach. “Why would I get you a pony?”
“I don’t know!” Tony throws up his hands. “You’re unpredictable. That’s one of the things I love about you. You could totally be the kind of person who buys her billionaire boyfriend a pony just to mess with him.”
Shaking your head, you rise from the couch and walk over to him, slipping your arms around his waist. He smells like a mix of motor oil and peppermint, a strangely comforting combination. “You’ll just have to wait until Christmas morning like everyone else.”
He groans dramatically, leaning his forehead against yours. “But waiting is the worst.”
You laugh softly, your fingers playing with the hem of his t-shirt. “You’ll survive.”
Tony pulls back, giving you that crooked grin that never fails to make your heart skip a beat. “You’re lucky I’m crazy about you.”
“I know,” you say, kissing his cheek. “And for the record, I’m crazy about you too.”
The rest of the evening unfolds in a blur of laughter, cookie dough catastrophes, and a flour fight that leaves the kitchen looking like a snowstorm hit it. By the time you crawl into bed, Tony is already brainstorming ways to improve his cookie cutter design, his notebook balanced precariously on his lap.
As you drift off to sleep, you can’t help but think about how much your life has changed since Tony came into it. He’s still the same brilliant, unpredictable man you fell in love with, but there’s a softer side to him now, one that he only shows to you. It’s a side that makes you even more excited about the future — a future that’s about to become even more chaotic, and infinitely more wonderful.
The next morning, you wake up to the smell of coffee and the sound of Christmas music playing softly in the background. Tony is already up, standing at the counter with his back to you, tinkering with something that looks suspiciously like a robotic arm holding a whisk. You smile, shaking your head at his endless creativity.
“Morning,” you say, wrapping your arms around his waist from behind.
He turns his head to look at you, his face lighting up. “Morning, gorgeous. Coffee’s on the counter.”
You grab your mug and take a sip, savoring the warmth. “What’s on the agenda today?”
“Shopping,” he announces, spinning around to face you. “I’m on a mission to find the perfect gift for the perfect woman.”
You raise an eyebrow. “And who might that be?”
Tony smirks. “Funny. You might know her. Smart, beautiful, has an impeccable sense of humor. Bit of a troublemaker, though.”
You laugh, leaning against the counter. “Well, good luck with that. She sounds like she has pretty high standards.”
“Oh, she does,” Tony says, his expression softening. “But she’s worth it.”
Your heart melts a little, and you reach up to brush a strand of hair away from his face. “You’re such a sap.”
“Only for you,” he quips, grabbing his coat. “Now, come on. Let’s go spread some holiday cheer — Stark style.”
The day is a whirlwind of activity. Tony drags you to every shop in Manhattan, insisting that he needs your input for “research purposes.” You play along, knowing full well that he’s trying to throw you off the scent of whatever he’s planning. At one point, he buys an absurdly oversized stuffed reindeer and insists on carrying it around for the rest of the day, much to the amusement of passersby.
By the time you make it back to the penthouse, your feet are aching, but your spirits are high. Tony collapses onto the couch with a dramatic sigh, the reindeer perched proudly next to him.
“That,” he declares, “was a successful mission.”
“Did you actually buy my gift, or was this just an excuse to act like a Christmas lunatic?” you ask, flopping down beside him.
“Both,” he admits, pulling you into his arms. “But mostly the gift thing. You’ll love it, I promise.”
You rest your head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. “I’m sure I will.”
As you sit there together, surrounded by the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree and the quiet hum of the city below, you realize that this is what you love most about the holidays. It’s not the gifts or the decorations — it’s the simple, joyful moments with the man you love.
And if everything goes according to plan, this Christmas will be one you’ll both remember for the rest of your lives.
The Stark Tower is unusually lively this morning, the energy of Christmas buzzing through its futuristic halls. Tony is in a festive yet frantic state, pacing the penthouse like a man on a mission. His hair is slightly tousled, his signature goatee impeccably groomed, but there’s an unmistakable panic in his eyes. In one hand, he clutches a tablet loaded with potential gift ideas — all of which he’s already rejected.
“I’ve got nothing,” he mutters to himself, collapsing onto the plush sofa. “Nothing! Billionaire genius, and I can’t even come up with a gift for my girlfriend. Pathetic.”
J.A.R.V.I.S., ever the voice of reason, chimes in. “Perhaps if you focused on what Ms. Y/N truly enjoys, sir, instead of cross-referencing gift lists from obscure online influencers—”
“Don’t start, J,” Tony cuts in, running a hand through his hair. “She’s already got everything. I mean, I got her that custom jet last year. How do you top a jet? You can’t just show up with…I don’t know…a fruit basket.”
“Fruit baskets do have their appeal,” J.A.R.V.I.S. responds with what could almost be sarcasm. “But perhaps the Avengers could provide some inspiration?”
Tony freezes mid-panic spiral. That’s not a terrible idea. Sure, it’s risky — the team isn’t exactly known for their emotional intelligence — but desperate times call for desperate measures.
“Fine,” he says, springing to his feet. “Avengers assemble… into my gift crisis.”
Tony’s first stop is the gym, where Steve Rogers is predictably punching a bag that looks like it’s seen better days. Captain America, always dependable. Surely he’ll have a wholesome, foolproof idea.
“Cap!” Tony calls out, striding into the room. “I need your help.”
Steve turns, wiping sweat from his forehead. “Help with what?”
“Gift ideas for Y/N,” Tony explains. “You’re all about romance, right? Flowers, dances, old-school charm?”
Steve raises an eyebrow. “I’m not sure that’s entirely accurate.”
“Come on,” Tony pleads. “What would you get Peggy?”
Steve hesitates, clearly caught off guard. “Well… something meaningful. Like… a locket. Or a handwritten letter.”
Tony blinks. “A letter? Seriously? What am I, a 1940s soldier? This is Y/N we’re talking about.”
Steve shrugs. “You asked for my opinion.”
“Yeah, and I’m returning it for store credit.” Tony claps him on the shoulder. “Thanks, Cap. I’ll try not to let your advice tank the relationship.”
Steve sighs, going back to his punching bag. “Good luck.”
Next up is Natasha, who’s in the middle of yoga in one of the quieter rooms. Tony approaches cautiously, aware that interrupting her zen could be hazardous to his health.
“Nat,” he begins, leaning against the doorway. “I need a favor.”
She doesn’t even open her eyes. “Is this about Y/N’s gift?”
Tony gapes. “How did you—?”
“Because you’ve been pacing around the tower like a maniac all morning,” she replies coolly, finally sitting up and fixing him with a knowing look. “What do you have so far?”
“Nothing. Nada. Zilch.”
Natasha smirks. “And you want me to tell you what to get her.”
“Exactly!” Tony points at her like she’s just cracked the code to cold fusion. “You’re sharp. Observant. What’s the perfect gift?”
Natasha considers for a moment, then says, “Something personal. Handmade, maybe. You’re good with your hands.”
Tony grins, but before he can make a suggestive comment, she cuts him off with a glare. “Not like that. I mean something that shows how much you care. Jewelry, maybe. Or art.”
“Jewelry… art…” Tony mutters, pulling out his tablet. “Great, now I just have to learn how to sculpt in two days. Thanks, Romanoff.”
“Happy to help,” she says dryly, already returning to her yoga pose.
From there, Tony tries Clint, who’s stringing up Christmas lights in one of the communal areas. Clint’s advice is as chaotic as expected.
“Easy,” Clint says, perching precariously on a ladder. “Just get her a puppy. Chicks love puppies.”
Tony stares at him. “I am not bringing a dog into this tower.”
“Why not? Dogs are great. They’re cute, cuddly, and they make up for any shortcomings in the gift department.”
Tony rubs his temples. “I’m not trying to distract her from my shortcomings, Barton. I’m trying to impress her.”
“Suit yourself,” Clint shrugs, hanging a lopsided string of lights. “But don’t come crying to me when she says she wanted a golden retriever.”
Bruce is in the lab, predictably surrounded by gadgets and scientific equipment. Tony hopes the two of them can put their combined genius to work on this problem, but Bruce is far less helpful than anticipated.
“Maybe you could write her a song,” Bruce suggests, pushing up his glasses.
Tony stares at him. “Do I look like Taylor Swift?”
“I’m just saying, it’s heartfelt. You could compose it digitally if you don’t want to sing.”
“Banner, I love you like a brother, but I’m not serenading Y/N.”
Bruce shrugs. “Your loss. I think she’d like it.”
“Noted.” Tony sighs. “Back to the drawing board.”
Even Happy gets dragged into the chaos. Tony finds him downstairs, supervising the unloading of holiday supplies.
“Happy,” Tony says, leaning against the doorframe. “You’ve known Y/N for years. What’s her ultimate Christmas gift?”
Happy looks at him like he’s sprouted a second head. “You want me to tell you what to get your girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
“And you’re asking me, the guy who drives you around?”
“Exactly.”
Happy shakes his head. “You’re hopeless, boss.”
Tony groans, throwing his hands in the air. “You people are useless!”
By the end of the day, Tony is no closer to a solution. He’s tried everyone — Sam, Bucky, even Thor, whose advice (“Forge her a hammer!”) was predictably unhelpful. He slumps onto the couch in the penthouse, utterly defeated.
“What if she hates it?” he mutters aloud. “What if it’s not enough?”
“Sir,” J.A.R.V.I.S. interjects, “if I may offer a suggestion?”
Tony sighs. “What is it, J?”
“Perhaps the best gift you could give Ms. Y/N is a reflection of your relationship. Something that reminds her of the journey you’ve shared.”
Tony frowns, the gears in his mind turning. A reflection of their relationship… Suddenly, it clicks. His face lights up with realization, and he jumps to his feet.
“J.A.R.V.I.S., you’re a genius!” he exclaims. “Why didn’t I think of this sooner?”
“I am programmed to be helpful, sir.”
Tony grins, already pulling out his tools and materials. He’s got a lot of work to do, but for the first time all day, he’s confident. This Christmas, he’s going to give Y/N something truly unforgettable. And if all else fails, well, there’s always next year’s puppy.
The workshop hums with activity as Tony works furiously on his latest project. He’s elbow-deep in wires and microchips, his face illuminated by the glow of holographic schematics projected in the air around him. His Santa hat sits forgotten on the workbench, replaced by his trusty welding goggles, and the upbeat carols playing in the background do little to mask his occasional muttered curses.
This gift has to be perfect. After his disastrous attempts at getting advice from the Avengers, Tony finally landed on an idea that feels right. It’s not about flashy extravagance or grand gestures this time. It’s about them — their inside jokes, their adventures, the little moments that have defined their relationship. The project is both ambitious and surprisingly sentimental, and it’s consuming every ounce of his focus.
“Sir,” J.A.R.V.I.S. pipes up, “Ms. Y/N has just returned from her errands. Should I inform her of your whereabouts?”
“No!” Tony yelps, nearly dropping a soldering iron. “I mean, no. Don’t tell her I’m down here. And don’t let her come in. This is classified.”
“As you wish, sir,” J.A.R.V.I.S. replies. “Though I should point out that she may grow suspicious of your… absence.”
Tony pauses, chewing his lip. “Good point. I’ll head up for a bit. Cover for me if she asks anything.”
“As always, sir.”
Tony wipes his hands on a nearby cloth, tugs off his goggles, and makes his way upstairs. As the elevator doors slide open, the familiar scent of pine and cinnamon fills the air, and he spots you in the kitchen, arranging a tray of cookies with a focused determination that rivals his own.
“Hey, Peppermint,” he greets, leaning casually against the doorframe. “What’s cookin’?”
You glance up, a playful smile curving your lips. “Cookies, obviously. You planning to swoop in and steal half of them before they cool?”
“Steal? Never.” He steps closer, the grin on his face equal parts mischief and charm. “I’m just here to, uh, supervise.”
“Uh-huh,” you reply, clearly not buying it. “What’s the catch, Stark?”
He slides an arm around your waist, planting a kiss on your cheek. “No catch. Just missed you.”
“Mm-hmm,” you hum, setting the tray aside and turning to face him. “And this has nothing to do with trying to figure out what I got you for Christmas?”
Tony’s feigned innocence is laughable. “What? Me? No. I’m just an affectionate boyfriend who loves his girl and—”
“Tony.” Your tone is firm but amused. “You’re not getting it out of me.”
He groans dramatically, letting his head fall against your shoulder. “Come on, just give me a hint. A tiny clue. Like… does it have wheels? Or a remote control?”
You laugh, shaking your head. “Not a chance.”
Tony leans back, his hands coming up to cradle your face as his eyes search yours. “Okay, what if I said you’re the most brilliant, stunning, wonderful person in the universe?”
“Flattery won’t work.”
“Bribery?”
“Nope.”
“Kisses?” He leans in, brushing his lips against yours in a way that’s almost enough to make you forget what he’s after.
Almost.
You pull back, grinning. “Still no.”
Tony lets out an exaggerated sigh of defeat, resting his forehead against yours. “You’re cruel, you know that?”
“Consider it payback for all the times you’ve teased me with surprises.” You poke him lightly in the chest. “Now go find something else to obsess over.”
“Fine,” he grumbles, though his eyes sparkle with affection. “But this isn’t over.”
It’s definitely not over.
The next day, Tony launches a full-scale investigation. If you won’t spill the beans, maybe someone else will.
Thor is his first target. The Asgardian is lounging on the couch, a giant mug of hot chocolate in hand, as he admires the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree. He looks every bit the picture of holiday contentment — until Tony plops down next to him with an unnerving grin.
“Hey, Big Guy,” Tony begins, his tone overly casual. “Enjoying the cocoa?”
Thor nods, his expression serene. “Indeed, Stark. This Midgardian drink is most delightful.”
“Great, great.” Tony leans in slightly. “So, uh… you’re pretty close with Y/N, right?”
Thor raises an eyebrow, clearly sensing an ulterior motive. “She is my dearest friend. Why do you ask?”
Tony shrugs, feigning nonchalance. “Oh, no reason. Just curious if she’s mentioned anything about, you know, Christmas gifts. Specifically mine.”
Thor chuckles, a deep, rumbling sound. “You wish to uncover her secret.”
“Exactly!” Tony’s eyes light up with hope. “So spill. What did she get me?”
But Thor shakes his head, his amusement evident. “I swore an oath of silence, Stark. Y/N entrusted me with this knowledge, and I shall not betray her.”
Tony groans, flopping back against the couch. “Come on, Thor. Just a hint. A riddle. Morse code, even.”
“I cannot,” Thor replies firmly. “But take heart, my friend. I am certain you will be most pleased with her gift.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Tony mutters. “Thanks for nothing, Thunderlord.”
Undeterred, Tony moves on to Sam and Bucky, who are bickering over whether or not Die Hard counts as a Christmas movie.
“Guys,” Tony interrupts, sliding into the seat between them. “Serious question: What did Y/N get me for Christmas?”
Sam snorts. “You think she told us?”
“Please,” Bucky adds, not even looking up from the screen. “Y/N knows we’re terrible at keeping secrets.”
“Exactly,” Tony says. “So if she did tell you, you’d crack by now. Which means she didn’t. Which means you’re useless to me.”
“Glad we cleared that up,” Sam deadpans.
Even Bruce, who’s usually patient enough to entertain Tony’s antics, is less than helpful.
“She didn’t tell me,” Bruce insists, adjusting his glasses. “And even if she did, I wouldn’t tell you.”
Tony sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Do none of you understand the concept of loyalty?”
Bruce raises an eyebrow. “Tony, if anyone here has loyalty to Y/N, it’s you. Why don’t you trust her gift will be amazing?”
Tony opens his mouth, then closes it. Bruce has a point. But that doesn’t mean he’s any less curious.
Back in his workshop that evening, Tony tinkers with his own project, trying to push thoughts of your gift from his mind. He’s almost finished now — just a few more adjustments, and it’ll be ready. As he assembles the final pieces, he thinks about all the moments that led up to this Christmas: your first date, the time you stayed up all night helping him debug a faulty suit, the way you make him laugh even on his worst days.
This gift isn’t just a present. It’s a thank you, a promise, and a celebration of everything you’ve built together.
And even though you’re driving him crazy with your secrecy, he knows one thing for certain: Whatever you’ve got planned, it’s going to be unforgettable.
With that thought, Tony sets down his tools, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. He doesn’t need to know what your gift is — not yet. For now, he’s happy just knowing he has you.
Christmas morning in the Stark Tower is a scene straight out of a holiday movie. The enormous tree in the living room is aglow with lights, its base surrounded by neatly wrapped presents. Snow falls gently outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, a soft white backdrop for the festive chaos unfolding inside.
You’re curled up on the couch in your favorite pajamas, a mug of hot cocoa in hand. Tony, ever the big kid at heart, has already passed out Santa hats to everyone present, including himself. He wears his tilted at a jaunty angle as he lounges beside you, an arm slung around your shoulders.
“All right, folks!” he announces, clapping his hands together. “It’s showtime. Let’s get to the main event: gifts.”
The Avengers have gathered around the tree, a motley crew of holiday cheer (and mild bickering). Thor booms with laughter as he rips open a package containing a novelty hammer-shaped mug. Natasha smirks as she unwraps a sleek new set of throwing knives from Clint. Even Bruce looks delighted by his custom-designed science gadget from Sam.
But you and Tony? You’ve been waiting for this moment all morning, both of you teasingly delaying the exchange of your gifts.
“You first,” you say, nudging him with your elbow. “I want to see what you’ve been hiding in that workshop of yours.”
Tony’s grin spreads wide, a mix of excitement and nerves. “Oh, trust me, sweetheart, this one’s worth the wait.”
He reaches under the tree and pulls out a medium-sized box wrapped in shiny silver paper. Handing it to you with a flourish, he leans back to watch your reaction, his eyes sparkling like a kid on Christmas morning.
You tear into the wrapping paper eagerly, revealing a sleek wooden box with a brass clasp. Inside, nestled in velvet, is a handcrafted piece of art—a delicate, intricate snow globe. The base is engraved with your initials intertwined with his, and the scene inside is unmistakably Stark: a miniature version of you and Tony, standing arm in arm next to a scaled-down Iron Man suit, all framed by a sparkling winter wonderland.
Your breath catches. “Tony… this is…”
“There’s more,” he interrupts, leaning forward eagerly. “Shake it.”
You do, and as the snow swirls around, holographic lights within the globe flicker to life. Tiny projections play out in the air—a montage of your most cherished memories together, from your first date to lazy mornings in the penthouse, all culminating in a tiny glowing heart, just like the one in Tony’s arc reactor.
Tears well in your eyes, and you look up at him, overwhelmed. “Tony, this is… it’s perfect. It’s us.”
He smirks, brushing it off, but you can see the pride in his eyes. “I figured I’d go for something understated this year.”
You laugh, setting the globe carefully on the coffee table before launching yourself into his arms. “Thank you. I love it. I love you.”
“I know,” he quips, pulling you into a kiss that’s soft and sweet. “Merry Christmas, Peppermint.”
The rest of the room groans at the display, but neither of you notice.
“Okay,” Tony says after a moment, clearly eager now. “Your turn. Let’s see what my genius, gorgeous girlfriend came up with.”
You grin, your nerves suddenly kicking in as you grab the box you’ve been hiding behind the tree. It’s wrapped in festive red paper, topped with a glittery bow.
“Here,” you say, handing it to him. “Be careful. It’s… uh… delicate.”
Tony narrows his eyes playfully. “Delicate? What did you get me, a Fabergé egg?”
“Just open it,” you reply, your heart pounding.
He takes his time unwrapping it, deliberately dragging out the suspense until you swat his arm. Finally, he pulls off the lid, revealing a soft, tiny onesie folded neatly on top. It’s bright red and gold, designed to mimic his Iron Man suit, with “Iron Baby” written across the front in bold letters.
Tony stares at it for a beat, then looks up at you, brow furrowed. “Uh… is this for… like, a doll? Or are you suggesting I start a baby clothing line?”
You can’t help but laugh nervously. “Keep going,” you urge, gesturing toward the box.
Still confused, Tony sets the onesie aside and peeks beneath it. There, tucked beneath a layer of tissue paper, are the ultrasound pictures.
He picks up the first one, his eyes narrowing as he examines it. The confusion melts away in stages—first to realization, then to shock, and finally to an overwhelming wave of emotion. He freezes, his hand trembling slightly as he holds the image.
“Wait,” he says, his voice hoarse. “Is this… are you…?”
You nod, tears brimming in your eyes. “Merry Christmas, Tony.”
For a moment, he’s completely speechless. His mouth opens and closes as he looks from you to the pictures and back again. When the tears come, he tries to hide them by rubbing his eyes, but there’s no stopping the emotion that floods his face.
“Oh, my God,” he whispers, his voice breaking. “You’re pregnant?”
You nod again, smiling through your own tears. “Surprise.”
Tony lets out a choked laugh, setting the pictures carefully back in the box before pulling you into his arms. He holds you so tightly it’s as if he’s afraid you might disappear.
“You made my gift look miserable,” he mumbles against your hair, his voice thick with emotion. “I can’t compete with this. This is… this is everything.”
“You don’t have to compete,” you whisper back, your arms wrapped around his neck. “This is our everything.”
When he finally pulls back, his face is lit up with a joy you’ve never seen before. He looks at the pictures again, then at you, then back at the onesie, shaking his head in disbelief.
“I’m gonna be a dad,” he says, more to himself than anyone else. “Holy—wow. This might be the best day of my life.”
You laugh, wiping at your tears. “You think you’re ready for this?”
Tony grins, his trademark cockiness shining through even as his voice trembles. “Are you kidding? I’m Iron Man. I was born ready.”
He pauses, then adds, “Although, uh, maybe I should baby-proof the workshop.”
The two of you laugh, and when Tony pulls you in for another kiss, the rest of the world fades away. It’s just you, him, and the tiny new adventure waiting for you both.
“Merry Christmas, Peppermint,” he whispers against your lips.
“Merry Christmas, Tony.”

Tattered Cloak Chapter 1 - Sneak Preview
This is still in progress, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek of the first chapter of my latest Donnie X Reader fic.
This is set in the same universe as Purple Hoodie and Prince Charming's Jacket, set a few years after the conclusion of PCJ.
I will note however this can be read as a stand alone (you'll see why MWAHAHA), with only some minor references to the prior fics.

Chapter 1 - Read More Below The Line:
“Fucking hell, do I need to rewrite this whole section?”
Digging your elbows into the wood of your desk, you buried your face into your hands. The aching of your back mocked you as a long groan left your lips.
After expending all the air from your lungs, you slowly leaned back in your chair, staring up at the cement of the ceiling.
Your thoughts ran laps throughout your head, as you tried to recall every detail of the tale you were crafting. Yet no matter how hard you tried to wrangle your thoughts, the words jostled around your mind, still a jumbled tangled mess.
Eventually your gaze returned to your monitor and with a sharp huff, you slammed your pointer finger against the backspace key.
The frantic cycle of typing and deleting the same 3 lines seemed to continue for ages, until a chipper voice caught your attention.
“Yo! Y/N!”
A blur of purple whipped around you, eliciting a chuckle from your lips.
“Shelldon, what’s got you so giddy?”
Swirling to a stop in front of your chair, the bot buzzed with delight.
“Come on! I’ll show you!”
Slipping between your back and the chair, he pushed you forward. As you clumsily landed on your feet, Shelldon clutched onto your arm and tugged you towards the door.
“Alright alright!”
Exiting the door to your office, you hurriedly followed the bot through the lab. The monitors flashed around you as you and Shelldon darted past the piles of scrap metal and wires. Turning a corner the scent of stale coffee hit your nose. Several cups lined the edge of a working station, while another few laid precariously on a box.
With a slight chuckle, you turned your attention back towards Shelldon, trying to keep up with his rampant pace.
Finally exiting the large metal doors of the lab, you appeared in the main foyer of the lair. Giggles and murmurs of chatter bounced off the walls, and you could see a large group congregating in the center of the room. Three of the turtle brothers and Cass stood next to April as she seemed to ramble on about something.
But as you stepped closer, it was the sight of the tall black haired man that caused you to yell in excitement.
“Casey!”
The man turned towards you and smirked back, giving you a wave. Jogging over, you pulled him into a tight hug and grinned.
“So glad you could make it.”
“Of course! Wouldn't miss it for the world.” He laughed, “Also if I did I think Raph would never let me hear the end of it.”
The eldest brother let out a laugh and placed a firm hand on Casey’s shoulder.
“No. No I wouldn’t.”
The group all laughed for a moment, until Casey gave another confused look.
“Wait but where’s Donnie?”
“I’m guessing he’s out giving his hoverbike another test run.” You chuckled.
“You think?” Raph asked, brow raised.
“I don’t have a tracker on him.”
“Nah that’s more his thing.” April chuckled.
A few more laughs echoed out, until Raph spoke again.
“Aren’t you two getting married this weekend? Shouldn’t you, I don’t know, be doing wedding things?”
“Listen we’re keeping it lowkey, or well Donnie low key, but you know your brother. He had an automation system programmed and tested 3 months ago for this thing. All I have left to do is go to my final fitting with Irma and practice my vows.”
“I guess.” Raph sighed, “Well so long as you guys are all set or whatever.”
“We should be happy they’re actually doing this!” Mikey smirked, “I was worried it was never gonna happen.”
“Yeah, speaking of which April you still owe me that sushi dinner.” Leo chuckled.
“For the last time, I’m not cashing in a bet from 3 years ago.” April groaned.
“Fine double or-”
“Would you two cut it out?” Raph groaned.
With that, another series of chuckles leapt out.
“Well dinner’s just about done.” Mikey smiled, “Y/N you want to go figure out where Donnie is and meet us in the kitchen?”
With a nod, you walked towards the entrance of the lair and clicked on your comm.
“Hey D, what’s your eta back?”
There was a full minute of silence before your comm chirped.
“Oh, sorry, about 10 minutes.” The voice called from your wristband, “I just need to run one more aim assist test and I can head back.”
Fluttering your eyes, you stared at your wrist puzzled.
“Aim assist?”
“Yes for my delivery service drone contract.”
“Delivery- wait when did you get that?”
“Like 3 weeks ago- oh wait… It’s possible I haven’t informed you of it yet.”
“Nah I guess not.” You chuckled.
“Well I’ll have plenty of details to ramble at you at a later time then. And then you can tell me all about what Derek and Shiloh are up to in your latest chapter.”
“Oh I um- I sent that manuscript out for review last week. I already started my new space travel book. I um... Guess I didn’t tell you.”
“Ah well excited to hear about it nonetheless.”
“Yeah, same here. Um, just make sure to get back quick. Casey’s here.”
“That’s today?!” Donnie exclaimed.
Yep.”
“Ugh, update eta to 5 minutes. I’ll be home shortly.”
“Safe travels.”
“Thanks.”
With a smirk, you headed back out to join the others.
When Donnie finally arrived in the kitchen, every eye turned towards him.
“It’s our long lost brother!” Leo exclaimed.
Leaping from his seat, the blue brother wrapped his arms around Donnie, lifting him slightly off the ground.
“By golly brother I never thought I’d see you again!” Leo said in a poorly mimicked southern accent, “I never thought you’d make it home from the war!”
Donnie wriggled in his brother’s grip.
“Leo I was just- why are you like this?”
Before Leo could respond, Raph butted in.
“Maybe if he saw ya more than once a month there wouldn’t be a need for theatrics. Now eat ya ‘za, it's getting cold.”
“Whatever.” Donnie said rolling his eyes,
As dinner progressed, the group threw question after question at Casey, asking about his travel and what he had been up to during his latest travel excursion. However as he was telling some story, a voice echoed from the entrance of the kitchen.
“Hey everyone! I’m back!”
“Irma!” You exclaimed, “I thought you weren’t going to be back until tomorrow!”
“I got an earlier flight.” She giggled, “Besides it's your big day, so we need to get up to shenanigans or whatever. It’s my duty as your maid of honor.”
“You’re so sweet-”
However Irma was lifted up off the ground as the red turtle scooped her up.
“I missed you boo-boo bear.” He smiled.
“Raph!” Irma blushed madly, “I was only gone a week!”
“Yeah but I get worried when you go on your big scary missions and what if something happened?”
Irma rolled her eyes as she tried calming the eldest brother down.
And with a chuckle, you headed back to your own seat and plopped down next to Donnie.
“We’re not gonna get like that right?” You grinned.
Donnie shook his head.
“By Einstein's beard no.”
The rest of dinner went smoothly as everyone went into the foyer to watch a film.
“We should watch something romantic to commemorate the week.” Irma giggled as Raph filtered through the movie choices.
“Enchanted’s cute!” Mikey called out.
“Or Princess Bride?” Shelldon suggested.
“Die Hard!” Cass shouted.
“Well Lou Jitsu and the Radiant Samurai is a good one” Splinter chuckled
As Raph and Irma debated between choices, Casey turned to Leo and Mikey.
“Hey when are Usagi and Peace Corp getting here?”
“How does that name keep sticking?” Mikey yelled, “They have a name you know and it’s-”
“Peace Corp, we know.” Leo grinned.
Eventually the teasing ceased and the movie The Holiday was selected. You leaned against Donnie’s side as the film played on the screen. But just as the plot was beginning to pick up, you fell asleep.
You awoke later to a blanket wrapped around you and the pillows next to you, empty.
And looking around it seems most of the group had broken off, only leaving April, Casey, Cass and Mikey.
Rubbing your eyes, you saw a dark forest with a fairy and some bug-like man flying around on screen while singing a cover of some pop song. After a moment, you figured out they must have put on that movie Strange Magic. With a yawn, you stretched and slowly stood up.
“I’m off to bed.” You chuckled.
The rest of the group waved as you headed out of the room.
When you returned to the lab, you found Donnie deep in some code.
“Grinding the late night oil?” You laughed.
“Uh-huh.” He seemed to murmur.
“You …going to bed soon?”
However the turtle just grunted back.
“Come on.” You grinned, “I think it’s time we both called it a night.”
And after a groggy nod and a sleepy kiss, the two of you headed off to bed.
The next morning, you woke to Donnie sprawled across the bed. One of his legs was thrown over your thighs, while one of his arms hung off the bed. With a roll of your eyes, you gently slipped out from underneath him and tucked him more firmly onto the mattress.
He seemed to murmur something, but you just whispered back at him.
“Go back to sleep, I'll make coffee.”
He grunted as he buried himself back into the pillows.
After checking some emails from your publisher and agent, you headed back to make some coffee. The grinder whirled around as the beans shredded against the blades. And with a steady hand, you gently pressed the grounds into the espresso machine cup. The smell of coffee filled your nostrils as the liquid seeped down slowly into your mug.
However as you began to work on the second cup, a noise caught your attention. There in the doorway stood Casey.
“Morning!” You smiled, “Coffee?”
“Sure.” Casey grinned.
“Sleep well?” You asked as you pulled out another mug.
“Yeah I did. It’s nice to be back.”
“We’re glad to have you back.”
“Oh.” Casey said as he seemed to recall something, “April told me a bunch of us might get lunch later today. You and Donnie coming?”
“Oh cool! Let me check what time my meetings are, and if I can, I definitely will. No idea on Donnie though, but I can ask him when I bring him his coffee.”
Casey stared for a moment, almost lost in thought and then a chuckle left his lips.
“You um… man timelines are weird.”
Placing the cup down gently, you turned back to Casey with a confused look across your face.
“Oh sorry I just…” Casey spoke slowly, “It’s weird. You’re like so different from my timeline. But also, not?”
You kept your expression soft. Casey would occasionally speak of his original timeline, but never too in depth. Just general overarching details.
“Oh really?” You gently pressed.
Casey seemed to turn his gaze away and the panic welled up in your stomach.
“Hey, you okay? I’m sorry if I-”
“No it’s not you.” Casey sighed, “I just. I guess… I should have given this to you a long time ago. But I feel like now's a good time.”
Casey tapped on his armband and the screen flipped up. Pressing his finger against a slot, a small USB appeared. Pulling out the rectangular chip, he walked closer to you and placed it gently in your hand.
“You… you wrote this.” Casey breathed out slowly, “It was like your memoir or I guess… like a diary.”
“My… diary?”
“Yeah I- um. It helps me remember the old times. You talk about me a lot.” He chuckled.
“I- thank you, but why- Are there others?”
“No. Just yours. You were the only one who ever wrote one. Well Donnie had some audio logs, but they were never personal. Just analytics and shit. But I think you should read it.”
“I’ll… I’ll think about it.” You nodded.
Casey nodded back.
After gently handing him his coffee, the man disappeared back into the lair.
You stood for a moment, staring at the little chip in your hand. But with a quick tuck, you stuffed it in your pocket and finished making Donnie’s coffee.
When you returned with the purple turtle’s coffee, he was still out cold, bundled up in the blankets and pillows. You left his drink on his nightstand and after a quick kiss on his head, returned to your office.
When you sat at your desk chair, you just watched the steam from your mug flicker into the air. A million thoughts buzzed around your head as you stuck your hand in your pocket and slowly pulled out the USB.
And with a nervous huff, plugged the chip into your computer.
A green page appeared on screen, with bundles of words clumped together.
I know no one will probably ever read this. Well except maybe Shelldon or Casey(skip past the marked sections by the way you two), but I want a place to write everything down. Out of all the stories I’ve ever written, I think it’s time I finally wrote mine.

Hey everyone! I've recreated and combined two of my old custom subway lots into a small lot size so they can be easily placed anywhere. This lot is great, especially for RP players like me who enjoy making a trip out of taking a train in the game.

I enjoy creating custom rabbit holes and a subway is the easiest of them all, especially with perfect subway/train CC created by amazing creators that you can easily use in your game. Although most of them are décor, so you mostly see Sims admiring them all over the place, I decided to place the subway in a small park for this specific lot. You can let your Sims enjoy the park, read a newspaper, drink coffee and even eat at a food cart before taking the train to work or heading home. To enhance the experience, you can also make the newspaper shop functional by using either Ani's Shop from Inventory mod or PJSims Functional Newspaper Stand mod. I have placed most of ATS3 Newspapers Kiosque's chest-like CCs, where you can store buyable newspapers and have your Sims buy their newspapers there. If you want to go this route, don't forget to download the buyable newspapers from this link to add them to your game. If you prefer the Functional Newspaper Stand, you can go to the link provided above and follow the instructions carefully to make it work in your end. 📣I've used Jynx's Subway Station rug and placed it in the next compartment of the train. As usual, I've provided links for different RH rugs/doors that you can choose from or that are compatible with your game. Don't forget to name your Subway station and make sure to place two subways in your world for it to function. 📣Please note that the store content and CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page) but those are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game. The Late Night expansion pack is required due to the build items used in the lot as stated in the Details section above. This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

Biograft stuff because iono:
I think I've said this before but Biografts get personality with age and trauma, so much so the first ever test models may or may not have become sentient
Now I may or may not have stolen this from an artist on tumblr I can't remember the name of rn but Subspace also programmed 5 bios for at least partial sentience(the goofy goobers we play as), while also experimenting with materials. The five annoy the living s*** out of him but a robot programmed to be sentient is pretty goddamn impressive so they're kept for showcases, presentations and psychological experiments.
Cocoagraft is made of a special type of wood in the inpherno that can withstand a lot of heat and is practically as hard as metal and Carvedgraft is made of well, pumpkins(that were dried and drenched in epoxy reson).
Floatiegraft has a waterproof coating to not get rust. There is a biograft model in the works that's meant for underwater exploration but for now it's the only thing Blackrock relies on for exploring the massive ocean around the continent
The Zeta and Beta bios we play as have the serial numbers Z-314 and B-728 respectively. The rest of the sentient gang don't have serial numbers as they're exclusives to their submodel
Chigrafts glow brighter than any other model because the insides of walls and factories in general are pretty dark(as they're almost completely automated). You could just give them night vision but that's too expensive. They're also often modified and used to explore caves and abandoned mineshafts.
- Star wars anon
My brain is still at Subspace using the sentient Biografts for psychological experiments/moral dilemmas. I can just imagine him putting them through some torturous moral experiment/forcing one of them to go existential crisis and then just wipe their memory of it when he’s done, as if nothing happened.
And for it to be done over again once he’s bored.
Holy crap maybe I did consume too much bioangst yesterday my bad (falls down the stairs with metal pipe sfx)

As you step into the sterile corridors of Wick Industries, the faint hum of machinery fills the air, a constant reminder of the scientific endeavors unfolding within. It's 2236, an era where the boundaries between progress and ethical considerations blur into a murky haze.
You find yourself here not out of choice, but out of dire necessity, your financial woes pressing upon you like a weighty burden. Volunteering as a blood donor is your ticket to survival, a means to secure the funds desperately needed to support your ailing mother and keep a roof over your head.
You needed the money, your mother's illness draining your savings faster than you could replenish them, while the relentless march of automation threatened your livelihood in the retail sector.
With each passing day, the gap between what you earned and what you needed widened, leaving you with little recourse but to turn to unconventional means to make ends meet.
A giant in the industry, Wick Industries looms large in the landscape of scientific research, its reputation as a leader in biomedical advancements drawing both admiration and scrutiny.
When news broke of their call for volunteers to participate in cutting-edge experiments aimed at extending human youth, you saw it as an opportunity—a chance to alleviate your financial woes while contributing to the greater good. Little did you know the true cost of admission into this world of scientific ambition and moral ambiguity.
Entering the facility, you're greeted by the sight of a bustling lobby, volunteers milling about in varying states of anticipation and apprehension.
The air is charged with nervous energy, a palpable undercurrent of uncertainty running through the crowd as each individual grapples with their own reasons for being there.
At the registration desk, you join the queue, your heart pounding in your chest as you inch closer to the counter.
The old woman behind the desk is brisk and efficient, her voice a steady rhythm in the cacophony of voices around you.
“Next,” she called out, an old woman behind the counter waved her hand, urging you to move forward.
“ID?” She spoke. Your hands making their way into your little pink hand bag as they shuffled to take out your wallet, waiting for the nod of approval before tucking your things back into your purse.
“Third door down the hallway to the left,” she directed.
Guided by her directions, you navigate through the maze-like corridors of the facility, the sterile environment and the click of your heels against the polished floors adding to the surreal atmosphere.
The waiting room is a sea of faces, each one bearing the weight of their own struggles and uncertainties, their eyes betraying a mixture of hope and trepidation.
As you take your seat among the other volunteers, you can't help but feel a sense of camaraderie tinged with unease. The steady stream of departures catches your attention, prompting a question to the person beside you.
“Why are people leaving?” You ask.
Their answer, though matter-of-fact, does little to assuage your growing apprehension.
“I hear the doctors are looking for a specific blood type within the volunteers,” the man next to you replied, his eyes going back to the bright screen of the phone he held.
Tumblr media
Amidst the ebb and flow of volunteers, two figures emerge, their presence commanding attention as they make their way down the line of chairs. The older man's piercing gaze sends a shiver down your spine, while his companion's whispered exchange only serves to heighten your sense of foreboding.
When they finally reach you, the weight of their scrutiny feels suffocating.
The bearded man leans in to murmur something inaudible into his assistants ear, the man’s eyes flicker in your direction.
“Her,” he whispers slightly, their eyes lingering on you for a moment longer than necessary.
As their stares bore into yours, the man’s assistant gestures for you to stand, and you comply, feeling a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. With a barely perceptible nod from the older man, they lead you away from the crowd, down a series of sterile corridors lined with gleaming metal doors.
Down the labyrinthine corridors you go, each step bringing you closer to the unknown. The air grows colder, the atmosphere thick with anticipation and trepidation. What awaits you behind those imposing doors remains a mystery, one that gnaws at the edges of your consciousness with relentless persistence.
Finally, you come to a stop before a nondescript door, its surface devoid of any indication of what lies beyond. With a silent exchange, the older man and his assistant confer, their words lost to you in the deafening silence of the corridor.
As the door slides open, revealing a sterile room bathed in harsh fluorescent light, you steel yourself for what comes next.
Alone in the room with these enigmatic figures, you can't help but feel a sense of trepidation. Their welcoming smiles offer little comfort, their words ringing hollow against the backdrop of uncertainty that looms over you like a dark cloud.
Tumblr media
"Welcome," the man with the clipboard begins, his voice a mere whisper in the vast emptiness of the room. "My name is Dr. David. Thank you for volunteering,”
As the assistant quietly slips out of the room, leaving you alone with Dr. John Wick, a sense of unease settles over you like a heavy blanket. Yet, in his presence, there's a strange calmness that washes over you, his reassuring smile and soothing voice momentarily easing the knots of tension in your stomach.
"Please, have a seat," he gestures towards a chair, his tone gentle yet authoritative. You comply, sinking into the plush cushion as he takes a seat across from you, his piercing gaze never leaving yours.
"Let me assure you, you're in good hands here," he begins, his voice smooth as silk. "Wick Industries is at the forefront of groundbreaking research, and your participation in our experiments is invaluable."
Despite his words, a nagging feeling of apprehension lingers at the back of your mind, a whisper of doubt that refuses to be silenced. Yet, you push it aside, clinging to the hope that perhaps this is just the opportunity you've been waiting for.
“I’m Dr. Wick—but please, call me John,” He gives you a charming grin once more, reaching out his hand for you to shake.
As he continues to speak, his words seem to fade into the background, your focus shifting to the way the harsh fluorescent light casts shadows across his angular features.
“Tell me about yourself,” he speaks up once more, trying to strike a conversation with his patient.
There's something magnetic about him, something that draws you in despite your better judgment.
“There’s not really much to me,” you chuckle softly, a pink shade flushing against your cheeks.
“I work in retail—heard of the small cafe Allure? Im a barista,” you say bluntly, as if you were having a normal conversation with your friend.
“Ah really?” John turns to you, his brown eyes boring into yours. “I’ll have to try it sometime, I’ve never been,” he revealed.
Your conversation starts to become more intimate, sort of like you’re speaking to a therapist.
"You're special, you know," he murmurs, his voice low and intimate. "There's something about you that sets you apart from the others."
A flush creeps up your neck at his words, a warmth spreading through you that has nothing to do with the temperature of the room. His proximity is intoxicating, his presence commanding yet strangely comforting.
“People don’t usually say that about me,” you scoff, rolling your eyes, yet you felt cared for, embracing the feeling of praise.
“A shame for such a pretty girl like you,” He jokes, rubbing his chin with his fingers.
You find yourself hanging onto his every word, his charisma and intelligence captivating you in a way you never expected.
As he shares stories of his past achievements and future aspirations, you can't help but feel a sense of admiration for the man before you.
But beneath the surface, there's a tension that simmers, a palpable electricity that crackles in the air between you. You can sense the shift in his demeanor, the subtle change in the way he looks at you, as if seeing you for the first time.
As the conversation lulls, he rises from his seat, his movements fluid and purposeful. With a slight smile, he disappears into the adjacent room, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
Minutes pass, the silence broken only by the soft hum of machinery in the distance. And then, he reappears, a small vial in his hand.
"I've prepared something to help ease the discomfort during the blood extraction process," he explains, his tone reassuring. "It's a simple elixir, but it should make the experience more bearable."
You nod, accepting the vial with a mixture of gratitude and apprehension. As you raise it to your lips, you can't help but wonder what exactly is in the concoction he's given you.
But the pain of the extraction process looms large in your mind, overshadowing any doubts or reservations you may have.
With a deep breath, you swallow the elixir in one swift motion, its taste bitter and metallic against your tongue. And then, as the liquid courses through your veins, a wave of dizziness washes over you, your vision blurring at the edges.
You reach out for support, but John is already there, his strong arms catching you before you hit the ground.
Tumblr media
Your head throbs, the sensation reverberating through your ears as you grimace in pain, your face contorted in a grimace as you watch the overhead lights flicker rapidly.
Panic surges within you, your heart racing as you realize your arms are restrained above your head, the cold metal of the cuffs biting into your skin. Your feet barely brush against the worn tiles below.
"What the hell?!" you exclaim, your voice trembling with fear. Memories elude you, leaving you disoriented and bewildered.
Surveying your surroundings, you find yourself in a stark white room, its pristine walls offering no solace. A single door stands in the corner, ominous in its silence as you hang suspended in the center, the flickering lights casting eerie shadows across the sterile space.
Suddenly, the door creaks open, revealing Dr. John Wick as he steps into the room. Clad in gloves and his white coat, he exudes an unsettling air of authority as a wave of realization washes over you.
"What's happening?!" you demand, your voice trembling with uncertainty as fear grips you tightly.
"Hush now," John soothes, his voice calm and measured as he approaches you.
Despite your frantic struggles against the chains, he moves closer, his hand deftly manipulating a remote control in his grasp. With a click, the chains lower, the sound of metal clanking echoing in the sterile room as your body descends.
“I didn’t lie about how you were special,” he smiles creepily, now eye level with the man as he lifts your chin slightly.
“We just need to text you for some experiments, nothing too big,” he added, hot tears already brimming your waterline.
“P-Please get me out this isn’t what I signed up for—“ You whined, your wrists still trying to undo the chains that bound them together.
“I’m sorry but I cannot do that. You’ll be my little test bunny for today, is that alright with you, love?” He chuckled softly.
You shriek, tears already streaming down your cheeks as John’s fingers stroke against your jawline.
“You wouldn’t want to let your poor mother die now, would you?” He whispered, leaning into your ears as you grit your teeth, jaw clenching.
“Your mother has been transferred to a better hospital—under my industry. Resist and you die, let me use you this once and I’ll ensure your mother’s safety,” he’d add.
Before you are able to say anything, he grabs a handkerchief from his pocket, wrapping it around your head.
Your body stops shaking, your mother was at risk and you were unable to do anything.
Tumblr media
He first took a knife from the steel cart that was placed against the wall across from where you were, his movements precise as you felt your clothing slither from your body, down your legs and eventually onto the ground.
Unable to resist, you stood there, crying, your makeup making marks on your cheeks as you shuddered from the embarrassment you felt as you were exposed to the older man.
“So young, so beautiful,” his voice tantalizing as he admired your curves, his hands starting to graze against your skin, the goosebumps visible from your fear.
“Don’t be afraid, it’s only procedures,” he teased, before pushing the button on his remote once more, your body lowering down as you gazed up at the man like a dog.
His fingers made their way under your chin, lifting them up slightly before he slowly undid the handkerchief.
“Please don’t scream, you’ll only make it harder for yourself,” he rambled, his lips now pressing against yours as you moaned in both surprise and disgust.
His tongue swirled with yours, the both fighting for dominance as he held your jaw in one hand, the other one starting to undo his pants.
John’s eyes glinted with a cold detachment as he advanced towards you, his movements deliberate and predatory.
“I promise, you’ll like it,” he drawled, his voice dripping with arrogance as he surveyed your trembling form.
You tried to protest, but the words caught in your throat as he pinned you against the wall, his hands rough and possessive as they roamed over your body.
“Don’t fight it,” he murmured, his lips brushing against your earlobe as he leaned in close.
“Resistance is futile.”
You could feel the heat of his breath against your skin, sending shivers down your spine despite the fear that gripped your soul.
“Please,” you whispered, but the desperation in your voice only seemed to amuse him.
With a smirk, he silenced you with a bruising kiss, his lips crushing yours with a ruthless intensity that left you gasping for air.
And as he claimed you as his own, you found yourself surrendering to him completely, your body a playground for his darkest desires. Each touch sent shockwaves of pleasure and pain coursing through your veins, your cunt throbbing with a mixture of agony and ecstasy.
But amidst the chaos, there was something else - a twisted kind of love that dared not speak its name.
“You like that, don’t you?” he taunted, his voice dripping with malice as he watched you squirm beneath him.
You moaned in response, unable to deny the twisted pleasure that his touch ignited within you.
With a guttural grunt, John released his load deep inside your cunt, his cock throbbing with the force of his climax. Your walls clenched around him, milking every last drop of pleasure from his pulsating shaft as he claimed you as his own.
“Take it, you filthy whore,” he spat, his voice dripping with disdain as he buried himself inside you.
“You like being used, don’t you?”
You moaned in response, unable to deny the twisted pleasure that his rough treatment ignited within you.
Each thrust was a reminder of your submission, a testament to the depths of your depravity.
As he reached his peak, his grip on you tightened, leaving bruises in his wake as he marked you as his property.
“There we go little bunny,” he sneered, his words a cruel echo of the pleasure that coursed through your veins.
And as he finally pulled away, leaving you empty and spent, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. In his arms, there was no room for love or tenderness, only the raw, unbridled passion of two souls consumed by darkness.

after my post yesterday about not sharing viral videos of "dancing dogs" because they're just videos of animals dying slowly of agonizing neurological disease I tried typing "canine distemper" into tumblr search and discovered another one of those weird little heatsinks of tumblr spam. 99% of the posts in the tag/search category (the latter actually, the tag itself doesn't seem to work/is blocked) were spam, mostly 0-note chatGPT rambling with unclear goals either for SEO or for sales. a lot of Indian spam in particular is on Tumblr, as well as either fake or real veterinary clinics posting filler articles about pet topics. none of this stuff gets any engagement and most of it seems to be referral dead ends, eg, it doesn't have any links out that are being clicked by either humans or crawlers, but I find it everywhere.
porn spam is very straightforward by comparison, porn bots are trying to farm leads in the form of live men who reply to them and can be added to databases of live leads, or they want conversions into account signups or sales off-site. sometimes actual adult content creators are doing their own marketing here and again the goals of their advertising is normal, and other times porn ads are malware or social account hijacking bait etc. but the generic marketing slop spam that comes up for terms like "canine distemper" is a little more puzzling.
I think some of these blogs are probably being used inside web templates off Tumblr to just host content elsewhere on the web, but as far as I'm aware thats not really a standard website building technique, most people just use a blog template or WordPress or something. if you go on the Black Hat World forum you'll find plenty of buying and selling of established accounts in good standing on various socials, either through hacked accounts or accounts that have been deliberately created and then farmed over months or years to look as real as possible, but Tumblr accounts aren't really in demand as far as I'm aware
I don't think it's particularly interesting and definitely not sinister, it's likely a case of lost automated processes or some sort of testing of marketing generators that's just using Tumblr as the planting bed.
