Rainbow Baby
Charles x fem!reader
From this request
Summary: You had an accident and miscarriage when you were 3 months pregnant, but only Charles and a few relatives both of you knew that you were pregnant at the time of the accident. When you became pregnant again two years after the accident, this time you decided to not hide your baby and what happened in that accident.
WARNINGS: miscarriage, mental and physical problems, too much angst
A/n: not edited writing...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was the third month of your pregnancy, although your belly was not very clear, certain people around you knew about her pregnancy. You were glad when Charles suggested not to explain the baby to the outside world until you felt comfortable, you didn't want all eyes on you.
Charles was always there for the baby and was very attentive to you even in the first months. That's why when you said you were going out to dinner with your friends tonight, he insisted you not go.You kept talking to tell him it's okay and you're feeling fine today.
You were so excited when you finally persuaded Charles that you kissed him and left the house and drove off in your car. Everything happened so fast, even before you could tell there was a car coming out of the tunnel, you heard a crash and your car started to drift towards the wall at the tunnel entrance. The last thing you remembered was siren sounds.
Charles was with you when you opened your eyes. He was in a mess, when he saw you, he smiled for a moment and got up from where he was sitting on the hospital bed next to you and sat on the hospital bed, held your hand, you were looking around trying to understand where you were.
You frowned and the first thing you did when you realized that you were in the hospital was to put your free hand on your stomach and look at your stomach, your eyes filled with tears. Charles shook your hand and hugged you tightly as you started to cry "I'm sorry honey, I'm so sorry"
Losing your baby didn't affect you and Charles very well, but thanks to the love between the two of you, you were able to recover. It had been very difficult, but you believed that without Charles it would have been a wound that would never have healed.
Two years after the accident, the thing happened that made you both fully recover. You were pregnant again. This time you were both more sensitive, you knew this Rainbow baby would change your life.
This time you didn't want to hide the baby from the fans because you didn't want to make an effort to hide yourself and you didn't think you could mentally handle it.Charles, of course, supported you in this decision, he was aware that the last two years had a heavy impact on you rather than on him, so he stood by you in every decision as always.
For this reason, you prepared a joint post on Instagram and announced your rainbow baby to the whole world.Of course, within a few hours, the whole world was shaken by the news because most fans knew very well what a rainbow baby was.
Everyone seemed to go crazy, both of you started getting notifications and calls on your phones like crazy. You were expecting such a reaction but it hurt your heart that people were so knowledgeable about it because it probably meant that they experienced it too.
Charles was sitting next to you and when you looked into his eyes you saw again that man who could burn the whole world for you he took your hand and smiled at you "Charles, I think we should tell them, we can't keep it to ourselves any longer, they need to know what happened in that accident. After all, they know our baby now, I'm ready now I feel strong enough to talk about it"
Charles asked several times if you were sure about it, and each time you told him that you were fine and that it was important that you explain it.Starting from being actually pregnant at the time of the accident, you explained clearly how you collected yourself in these two years after the miscarriage and what your psychology was like. What Charles and you went through, what mental difficulties you struggled with, everything was in this article and you didn't hesitate to publish it, these were facts, you went through hard times.
Written from the point of view of the two of you, you explained what Rainbow baby means as a small footnote for those who don't know, while publishing this statement about what you've been through for two years, this baby was connecting you to life again.
You wanted not to answer the phone for a while after the statement was published because you kept thinking that there were people going through it and how hard it was for them too. Charles hugged you all day, you read books together and tried to stay away from everything electronic
When you looked at your phone in the evening, the news was really everywhere, everyone was sending support messages. Most women who have experienced this have sent you messages and the reason for your current sentimentality is that you were crying when you read their stories.
you felt more relaxed and now you were ready to live a new life when your rainbow baby was born. You could really feel the support that everyone sent, especially you were very grateful to Charles, who did not leave your side even though he was not well during these two years. This baby would be a new hope for all of you.

Yan overblotted malleus who kills his darling by accident, maybe loses his mind even more. Go crazy 💙
>:)
Warning(s): blood, death, hearing voices
Tumblr media
The ink clouding his vision slowly dripped off of his face, allowing him to see clearly once more.
"What... what happened to me...?" He asked.
But nobody was there to answer his question.
Malleus stood up on his unsteady legs. Nobody's around, where are they?
And then he found everyone. Silver, Sebek, Lilia, and the two Shrouds were huddled around... something. He couldn't tell what it was.
When Silver heard someone approaching, he immediately stood up and drew his sword, but calmed himself when he realized Malleus looked like he was back to normal.
But behind Silver, hidden by everyone else, Malleus saw a very bloody body.
"What happened?" Malleus asked.
"You overblotted." Silver simply responded.
"There's no pulse." He heard the younger Shroud say. "And... I'm not detecting any brain activity either."
"S-shit... Ortho, c-could you try shocking them awake?"
"I don't think it would be of any use at this point..."
"Ah, how tragic..." Lilia said. "Malleus will be quite displeased."
"Why... will I be displeased...?" Malleus asked.
"Malleus! You're ok!" Lilia said, turning around. "Such wonderful news-!"
"Lilia. Why did you say I would be displeased." He demanded.
"...Malleus. I'm sure you're aware you overblotted, yes...?" Lilia asked. He floated upwards and placed his hands on Malleus' shoulders. "(Y/N)... they tried to help us calm you down as they've done with all the other overblot cases but..."
It felt like all of the noise was sucked out of the world. He heard nothing, except for what Lilia said to him next.
"Malleus, you killed them."
It's easy to keep a human alive.
Just use a bit of magic, and just like that they'll be ok.
Lilia had clearly lied! You were just fine!
A simple spell to heal your injuries, and one to help with... preservation... and you were just fine!
You were alive, clearly!
You still looked alive, and your body wasn't at all decaying, so you're clearly ok!
You have to be.
Malleus Draconia was always known as a strange man, people just never commented on it because he's big and scary and one of the most powerful mages in the world, but now... people were starting to talk about him.
They were starting to talk about how Malleus Draconia was a man who always dragged a human's corpse around with him. He called the body "(Y/N)". He would talk to them like they were alive, and he always expected a response, before saying something along the lines of "Oh, you don't want to speak right now? That's ok, (Y/N), maybe later."
Everyone was now more unsettled by Malleus than ever before.
"(Y/N), what would you like for dinner?" Malleus asked, sitting you down in a chair.
But you didn't respond to him.
"...my dear, I know you're probably angry at me for hurting you like that, and I'm extremely sorry about that, but (Y/N)... we can't go on like this." Malleus said, grabbing your cold hands. "I can't go one more day without hearing your voice."
And after that, he could have sworn you said something to him. He heard a voice in the back of his mind, one that resembled yours...
"I knew it. You're still alive." Malleus smiled. "So, (Y/N), what would you like for dinner?" It felt so nice to hear your voice again. "Oh, that sounds wonderful, my dear. Shall we discuss wedding preparations tomorrow? ... Yes, my thoughts exactly!"
Lilia, Silver, and Sebek were peaking into the room to make sure Malleus was doing ok.
They did not expect to see what they did.
He's talking to you like you're still alive, like you're responding to him...
"Father, what do we do?" Silver asked.
"...I don't know."
"Is there nothing we can do to prevent Lord Malleus from marrying a corpse?!" Sebek yelled.
"Well, his grandmother will surely prevent that, but we should find a way to help him with... this." Lilia sighed. "For now, I suppose we just... let this happen. And try our best to help."
Malleus looked so happy, dancing with you.
But you didn't look happy, dancing with him.
Your expressionless, dead face could not display happiness anymore.
But Malleus... he saw you looking happy as ever. You looked as beautiful as the day he found you.
To Malleus...
You looked as alive as ever.

"I'm in a witness protection program."
Sadie clenched her jaw, unsure what else to say. Lando and Max were silent.
"What did you see?" Lando's voice was so soft Sadie barely heard him over the road noise.
Her right hand flexed on the steering wheel. "I can't tell you that."
"Why did you volunteer?"
"Because I love F1."
Max chimed in. "You said it's too public, too many cameras."
"What I reported happened after Melbourne and just before SIlverstone. I- I think it would be better if I just told you, wouldn't it."
"Yes," Lando muttered, not meeting her glance.
"Okay, well. I was working a bar in Sydney and witnessed a crime. I was seen calling the cops and..." She took a deep breath. "And let's just say that I had dobbed on someone dangerous. Someone influential and known to police."
"You snitched on a gangster?" Lando's wide eyes would have made Sadie laugh in any other situation. "A real life gangster?"
"I didn't know who they were! I was cornered in an alley the next day and after that I spent all of my money on a two week stay in England. From there, I reported the attempted assault and was told to stay in England for the two weeks. The police said they could use that time to get me into witness protection and set up the right safeguards, if I anonymously testify in court. It happened to be the Grand Prix weekend, so I volunteered instead of sitting around."
"Attempted assault?" Max stressed.
Sadie glanced at him in the rear view and her silence was answer enough. You don't need to know.
"Let me get this right. You snitched on a gang, were threaten and then ran to England?!"
"Yeah, pretty much." Her tone didn't match her racing heart.
"What happened to 'too many cameras'?" Lando toyed with his silver necklace.
"Obviously I didn't consider how dramatically you were going to break your ankle in turn, whatever it was. I figured, as a medic, I’d spend a lot of time in areas with very few to no cameras.”
Sadie glanced at the phone Lando showed her and, with one hand on the wheel, swung them left and down a small side street.
“You are right, though,” Max observed. “The reporters aren’t allowed in the medical tents unless they’re unwell themselves.”
“Is that why you’re in Melbourne? Are you from Sydney?” She could hear curiosity in Lando’s voice.
“It’s complicated.” Sadie grimaced.
“It’s seems like everything is,” Max muttered.
“Oh, shush,” she joked. She knew it had landed when both boys smiled slightly. “I grew up just outside of Melbourne. I’ve been working back at that bar since I was 18. I took some unofficial leave in June to experience working in another city while we had extra staff. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have chosen Sydney.”
The boys were quiet as Sadie explained her time working at bars in Sydney and enjoying the nightlife of another city. She talked about the move up there and the sudden disappearance to England. Some of her stuff was still in Sydney, including some personal keepsakes like a bracelet from her mother. Sadie explained that Lewis and Max knew about the witness protection, but nothing further. She’d only told them when they visited her in hospital the day after the accident and after some significant convincing. She answered questions about her leg and how it had healed, which had turned out to be quite well.
“How much physio did you have to do?” There was guilt in Lando’s question.
“Just some at home things, it was quite easy,” Sadie admitted. She didn’t want to elaborate on the facts she hadn’t done any official physio because she couldn’t afford it. Australian public health care was good, but not that good. “How well has the ankle healed?”
“It was slower than I wanted but I’m cleared for next season which is good.”
Max grumbled, “but he didn’t stop complaining about it for months.”
“I was in pain, mate!”
“I know! You told me every chance you got!”
Sadie smiled at their banter, glad they weren’t holding up walls of suspicion anymore.
As she pulled up to the Piastri Family home, she cleared her throat. “I- ummm… It was good to see you again Lando, and good to meet you Max.”
“Oh no,” Lando chided. “We’re not done, I am not letting you just drive into the sunset again.”
“It’s already dark,” Sadie pointed out. “And that’s not what happened the first time.”
“And on that note, I’m out,” Max exclaimed. “It was lovely to meet you, Sadie. Thank you for what you did at Silverstone.”
He jumped out of the car before she could say anything and practically ran to the red front door of a small, low set home.
Lando undid his seatbelt and turned to face her, pulling a leg onto the seat.
“Sadie, you vanished.”
Straight into then.
“I feel better seeing that you’re in one piece, and not hearing it from news,” she murmured.
“That’s what you have to say?” he scoffed.
Sadie pushed down irritation. She might struggle to stay in one place for very long, but she was a patient person who had drawers of calm, collected masks to choose from.
When she didn’t answer, Lando shook his head and closed his eyes.
“How do you think I felt?” he snapped. “Lewis told me you had stitches. How many? I know you can walk, but how long did it take for the limp to go away? Did you need crutches? Because you know that I did, and you know how long I needed them for.”
“How much did Lewis tell you?”
“You’re focusing on the wrong thi-“
“How much, Lando?”
The panicked edge to her voice had Lando pausing, looking closer at her face through whatever haze was over his mind.
“Just that,” he breathed. “He told me you’d needed stitches but were okay. He wouldn’t tell me anything else.”
The fist around Sadie’s heart relaxed slightly as she sighed with relief. “Okay, as long as it was just that.”
“You’re scared,” he stated like he’d only just noticed. His watercolour eyes were lit slightly by a nearby street lamp. They appeared hazel in that light and it was a detail Sadie wished she hadn’t noted.
“I’m paranoid,” she replied just as curtly.
“I was scared,” he admitted, breaking the eye contact.
“That’s fair. If your ankle didn’t heal properly, your career might’ve been over.”
“No, that’s not- Well I was scared about that but I meant that I was scared for you.”
Sadie frowned. “What? Why?”
“I didn’t know if you were okay! You put yourself on the line for me, you saved my life and I didn’t know if you were okay!”
“I didn’t save your life,” she scoffed. “It wasn’t headed for your heart.”
“I rewatched the footage,” Lando confessed with a sheepish smile. “If you hadn’t put yourself between me and the track? The debris would have hit me and my career could have been over.”
“Your career, Lando. Not your life.” Her voice was the softest it had been all night. It even surprised her.
“My racing is my life, Sadie.”
“I-“ but he cut her off.
“I never got to thank you in person.”
“You can do it now.”
“No.”
“Why the fuck not?” Her patience was slipping. She pulled another mask from the drawer.
“I think you’d take it as closure, or something. Then you’d leave and I would never see you again.”
He wasn’t wrong. She’d began to form a plan on how to give him the answers he needed, and then vanish again. He was a liability to her safety.
“Would that be so bad?”
“Yes.” No hesitation.
She didn’t know what to say to that. Sadie couldn’t bring herself and meet the gaze she could feel on her.
“Max almost punched a reporter,” Lando said.
That had her looking up at him, a confused smile on her lips.
“What?”
“In the media pen, Max almost punched a reporter that wouldn’t stop asking about you.”
A laugh bubbled out of Sadie. Max Verstappen? Protecting the young woman who had ego-checked him at Albert Park?
“I’m serious!” Lando insisted, but his smile was widening. “The guy asked every driver, but Lewis and Max had already told everyone to say nothing. The reporter was so frustrated at getting ‘no comment’ from every driver. Max’s interview was second or third last and the reporter asked something so out of pocket. If you find the interview you can see Max trying not to hit the guy.”
Sadie laughed again, and she caught Lando grinning in her peripheral vision.
“I did make him swear on his championship,” she commented it.
“What?” It was obvious that detail was also new to Lando.
“After the incident, while we were still at the track, I made Lewis promise to hide me from the media. Max visited my hotel room a few days later, and I made him swear the same thing.”
“On his championship?” Lando was trying to hold back a laugh.
“Yeah.” Sadie couldn’t hold back her own.
They laughed for a few minutes at the absurd notion of Max swearing anything on his championship.
“Jesus,” Lando sighed. “That makes so much more sense now.”
“What does?”
“I tried to find you, after a month. Fuck, I even tried to rope half the grid into helping me find you, but Lewis and Max always shut it down. They never told my why, but I guess that’s it.”
“I’m not going to apologise for trying to protect myself.”
“You’re good at protecting,” he said.
It wasn’t the most random comment he’d made that night but it was the one that stuck out the most.
Sadie didn’t know how to reply.
She didn’t have a chance to think about it when she saw a shadowy figure moving toward the car.
“Lando, get out of sight,” she warned.
He was too shocked by the immediate change in demeanour and topic.
“What?”
“Just- oh. Nevermind.”
As the figure came closer, they stepped into the lamplight and Sadie recognised Oscar Piastri.
“It’s Piastri,” she breathed.
Lando wound down his window and waved.
Oscar leant down, rested both arms across the opened window and glanced between them.
“Hey, how are you?” He began.
“Could be better,” Sadie quipped with a joking smile.
“I’m trying to convince her to stay,” Lando explained.
Oscar raised an eyebrow. “Stay the night or-“
“No, Oscar!” Lando laughed and Sadie couldn’t help but like sound.
“He means in your lives. But I can’t.”
Oscar tilted his head sideways quizzically and some of his hair fell into his eyes. “Can’t or won’t.”
“Both.”
“You make it sound like you don’t have a choice,” he observed.
“She does,” Lando said at the same time as Sadie’s “I don’t.”
“Lando, I-“
“No, Sadie you do have a choice. Not every part of our lives is public.”
“I’m still very confused,” Oscar added.
Sadie’s patience slipped again. “Piastri, I fucked with some dangerous people, and I can’t let them find me. Lando, you don’t have a private life. If you’re not doing Formula One, you’re doing Quadrant; if you’re not doing Quadrant, you’re partying with Martin Garrix; and if you’re not partying, you’re posting something on Instagram. You live an incredibly public life, and that’s okay, but I can’t join that in any regard.”
Lando looked at her with stunned silence. Oscar was watching her with a very concerned expression. She pointed at him with an intense stare.
"You might think your life is fairly private, but when you post on social media everyone nit-pics at it because of how rare your posts are. And every sighting of you is scrutinised.”
A smile quirked at the corner of his mouth but he didn’t say anything.
Sadie pulled in a deep breath and pulled on another mask from the drawer.
“I’m sorry, to both of you, but I’m going to vanish again. I have to.”
“Are you in witness protection?” Oscar asked.
Sadie nodded with a frown. He’d put it together fast.
“When’s the court date?” Oscar’s deep brown were intensely focused on her.
“Wednesday, next week. I will be testifying anonymously.”
“So even if they have gang members who aren’t convicted, they won’t know it was you.” Lando pressed, catching onto Oscar’s train.
“Gang members?” Oscar’s went up an octave.
Sadie waved off the question and focused on Lando. “I see where this is going.”
“Then you can see why I’m right.” His eyes were set on hers, a hand set on the handbrake between them.
Sadie sighed and closed her eyes.
“All of the members who saw my face will be going on trial. A few of them have been convicted already.”
“So after next week, you won’t be in witness protection anymore.” Lando pressed.
“That will depend on whether they’re all convicted and how long their jail time is.”
As Sadie spoke, Oscar pulled out his wallet and an old receipt. He pulled a random marker from another pocket and wrote something on the back before handing them both to Lando. He took this hint and wrote something as well.
When he handed it to her, Sadie noted both their phone numbers and tiny signatures at the end of them.
“Text when the trial is over. Just a yes or no. A yes doesn’t mean that you’re going to to be thrust into the spot light. It’s a maybe.” Oscar said, running a hand through his brown hair.
“It’s a maybe I could thank you properly." Lando added. "A random dinner or a paddock pass to which ever race you want.”
That brought a small smile to Sadie’s face.
“Everyone at McLaren would want to thank you,” Oscar added, but there was a tightness to his jaw Sadie hadn’t noticed until then.
She caved.
“Alright maybe,” she said. “I’ll keep this but I'm not promising you anything.”
Oscar's soft smile said that's enough, but Lando's slight frown meant he wasn't ready to give up. Oscar noted it.
"Lando," he interrupted whatever the older driver was thinking. "Mum made chocolate cake while you were out and wants you to try it."
"She knows about our diets right?"
"She'll insist until you fly out."
Lando sighed with an amused smile and opened his door.
"I'm not going to say thank you, not yet. I'm not even going to say goodbye."
"It might be your only chance," Sadie reminded him.
Lando shook his head as he stood, brown curls waving in the small breeze. Oscar pushed his door shut gently and ducked his head back through the window.
They watched Lando walk away, oblivious to the fact Oscar wasn't on his heals.
"I saw it happen, at Silverstone," Oscar murmured. "I saw you make the choice."
"I didn't choose. I reacted. There was no choice, or thought process, or thoughts at all, actually. It was just an action."
"An action we're all grateful for, but-" His voice dropped, as if Lando would hear him if he was any louder. "- I want to thank you for making that choice, or doing that action, whatever."
"Stop," Sadie demanded. "Stop, Piastri."
He did. The first one to stop the first time she asked.
She pulled in a deep breathe and calmly explained, "I did what I did. It happened. I know you're all grateful, but it has to stay at that. This is not a movie, where a chance meeting leads to years of friendship."
"I wouldn't call being hospitalised for being a human shield, a chance encounter," Oscar noted dryly.
"You get my point," she replied.
"I do, and I think I understand." He stepped away from the car. "You have our numbers. Call us and we will be there."
Sadie smiled slightly but didn't give him any hope.
"Go, before Lando comes back out."
"It was good to meet you, Piastri."
"Good luck, Sadie."
With that, the handbrake was off, car in gear and she was gone.

Sanji / OPLA Masterlist and Coming Soon
* English is not my first language, I tried really hard to correct myself but, I hope you will excuse me if some mistakes are still there.
If we were asking your adoptive fathers and their crew of fearsome pirates, they would call you their little miracle. Lost in the sea, booping on the wave like a message in a bottle, they had found you, infant in your little basket, crying with all the force of your small lungs. Not so far, they also found the rest of the wreckage of what seemed like two ships. They never had truly searched for what happened. Accidents weren't uncommon on the East blue, it suffice of an abordage going wrong, waking a sea monster of his nap or a storm to finish your life with the fishes.
The pirate ship wasn’t, of course, the best place for raising a child, but they both did their best, searching at each port they made a halt, to ask mothers about tricks and parental advice. Soon, you become a brave, smart and skilled woman, returning to your fathers their love, with the interest that you have grown to be one of the best thieves the world has ever seen. And it was a good thing that you were as quiet as a mouse on your feet, because being the little princess of a group of pirates meant they had cherished you and covered you in gold, giving you a strong appetite for the precious metal and some pretty high standard. Or, like your adoptive fathers always said, you knew your worth and didn’t settle for less.
That’s why you knew, when you saw the golden pendant in his bed of velvet, that you had to steal it, because you deserved it. It didn’t take you more than fifteen minutes, in broad daylight, for it to be your. Of course, you already had multiple necklaces, even one that looked like this one, but the truth was that you were bored and the stone in the center had your favorite shade of blue.
The action in your life was in a dangerous decline since your adoptive parent had decided to retire. You could understand, their life had been rough, with all the battles, storms and adventures. They deserve their peaceful life and as much as they encourage you to abandon them and go explore the world, you couldn’t bring in you the force to let them. But as you walk for the fifth time that road sinding the village in two, you can't help yourself to wonder what you could see and steal if you leave to live your own adventure.
You were taking a little snack, previously the propriety of the mayor's daughter, when you heard words you hadn't heard outside of your own house for a long time.
“ Nami, how far do you think we are from the Grand Line ? “  A young man wearing a straw hat, but nothing apparently valuable, said, passing in front of you.
The grand line, the place where most of your children's fairy tales took place. Every member of the crew had told you stories about rumors of incredible treasure, sea monsters covered in gold, dangerous pirates and of course, the legendary One Piece. Child, all those stories had made you head spin, making you beg your fathers to bring you there. Now adults, you understand that it was way too dangerous with you on board. And, without a great crew ready to take you in, you hadn’t no way to leave this small village. That's why you had tried to forget as much as possible the idea of all the richesses and the mysterious treasure. Until now.
Turning on your heels, throwing your/not your half eaten sandwich in a trash can, you followed the small group from a safe distance, admiring their chemistry. As you try, as much as you can, to stay silent and learn what they know about your dream destination. Soon, you couldn’t help yourself, quietly approaching their group more and more at each change of direction. As much as you love your adoptive parents and guilt would hunt you down, you couldn’t deny that the quiet life was slowly killing you, and, if that was your exit ticket sent by fate, you will not step back.
Taking another turn, now just behind them, you suddenly stop on your track as the orange haired girl spoke.
“ I don’t know why you follow us, but I wouldn't try to rob us if I were you “
“ Nami, who do you talk to ? “ The young man asked, confused as he looked around him.
“ That girl followed us for a while now, she isn’t a marine, neither a welcome committee and as her bag can assure you she’s a thief. And a good one, I didn’t hear her until a few streets away and it was because of a puddle. “ She said, facing you. Her expression wasn’t really friendly, and,as much as you were yourself embarrassed and hurt that she had unveiled you, you put your hands in fist and brave yourself. After all, you did nothing wrong. For once.
“ I didn’t want to rob you, I heard you talk about the Grand Line and I was curious, that's all. It’s my dream to discover its treasure. Did you really head there ?” You asked, your hope coloring your word.
“ Yes,I’m Monkey D. Luffy, she’s Nami. We will go to the grand line, find the One Piece and I will become king of the pirates !  Do you want to join our crew ? “ Luffy happily proclaimed, asking you to join them like if it was a stroll in the park.
“Luffy, we didn’t even know her, we can’t take every dreamer who crosses our path“ Nami almost protested, his gaze more amical but still trying to determine if you were a threat or not.
“ Nami, she’s good, you said to yourself, that if it wasn’t from that puddle you could never have known she was following us. We will need a good ally and I trust her ! “
“ I’m Y/N. I swear I will not steal something which belongs to you “ You promised “ I will worth it , please it’s my dream. If I stay here I will die of boredom.”
“ We have other crew members, it has to apply to them too “ Nami sighs, finally smiling at you. An understanding of your situation in her gaze “ We leave in two hours, will you be ready ?“
“ I will, “ You smiled.
Your goodbye, emotional but proud, had been brief but full of happiness. You all knew that the world wasn’t prepared for you, but you were ready to steal it dry with a smile and without making a sound. After taking your bag, hearing your papa sad complaint that with your extraordinary talent he will not have a warrant to put on their wall, you leave for the port.
The place was busy and noisy, many varieties of boat were leaving or arriving and the common sense of communication seemed to yell at each other, creating a brouhaha who gave Sanji a headache. As if he already had one at guiding Usopp and Zoro charging the crate of fresh provisions, while trying to stop Luffy from opening them and serving himself. Securing the rope of the last barrel, he heard a feminine voice.
“ I’m sorry sir, is that yours ? “
Turning himself to face you, his breath stayed stuck in his throat as you beauty caught him unguard. Sure, he had seen beautiful women pass the door of the Barratie and Nami in herself was a perpetual sunrise. But you, was a true vision. Sadly, the handkerchief in your hand wasn’t his and as stupid as it seems he was almost jealous of the mysterious owner.
“ I...Hello Madam, I'm almost sorry that isn’t mine, but I would gladly help you if you need help returning it to its owner. You know... keeping you company during this kind quest “ He offered, tittling his head, his seductive smile already spreading his lips.
“ Y/N, didn’t we agree that you will not steal something from us, give it back to him, Sanji is our cook “ Nami joyfully yells from the Going Merry upper deck rail.
“ Y/N, you made it ! “ Luffy joined, two pieces of bread in his hand. “ Sanji, it’s Y/N, she will go with us now “
“ Sorry Nami, I didn’t know ! Hi Luffy “ You replied, the tissue disappearing in your pocket as you pulled out Sanji’s golden lighter. “ Sorry for that…nice to meet you “ You smiled in front of his surprised face. Taking back his property, putting it back in his pocket, trying to understand at which moment you could have taken it without him noticing.
“ Y/N, what a pretty name. I’m Sanji “ He introduced himself, your soft smile making him weak in the knees. “ May I offer you to help you come aboard “
“ I will be fine thank you, I grew up on a ship. I was kind of a small pirate princess. “ You confessed, climbing the ramp leading to the lower deck.
“ Princess indeed suits you, you seem straight from a fairy tale “ Sanji flirts, following you, saving ,as he passes alongside Luffy, one of the small breeds.
“ You have a hell of a silver tongue, be careful that nobody tries to steal it “ You joked.
“ If I could, I would gladly give it to you “ He sweetly said, trying to help you with your bag. “ Sadly it would mean never tasting food so it was kind of a disadvantage for my job.”
Laughing, you made your way to the cabin where you put down your bag.
“ What food do you like ? “ He asked, eager to know more about you “ I can do everything you want “
“ No offense, but, from the cook of a pirate ship, I doubt it. My father had kidnapped a reputable chef who had stayed in our crew until they retired. I never tasted food like his after that.”
“Test me “ He replied, an amused smile on his lips.
To his surprise, your response to his usual question wasn’t any basic dishes and would truly be worth it to be served in a five star restaurant. No meat directly in the bones or rice ball. But an actual meal who’s will required him to work his skill for hours to obtain the perfect result. And you wouldn’t stop at the main course, telling him stories of delicate desserts you had eaten.
It was that moment that Sanji knew that you were made for each other. Sure, you weren't the only woman with a delicate palate in all the east blue. But even if his talent in the kitchen wasn’t contested, he wanted you to enjoy his version of those dishes and forget all the memories of those lower poor attempts( in his opinion) you had before. And if at the same time he could win you over with his charm additionned to his food, it would even be better.
It was on that base that he was starting his crusade. Months passed without you even being impressed by his effort. Sure you had been surprised that he was a great cook, but that was all. Days after days, he made for your favorite meals and dishes Zeff would never allow past the door of the Baratie kitchen, judging it too fancy for his clientèle.
If you go on a mission or just a resupply in an island, the man would come back to you, a flower bouquet bought or handmade in hand, every time different flowers that he proclaimed knew the significance. And, each time, the flower was an affirmation of his affection.  He even went to give you a small pendant of a golden rose.
It wasn’t that you didn’t acknowledge his effort or his affection. His cooking was impeccable and yes, even better than you had previously tasted. But, even if you think it was indeed sweet that he always tries to prove himself to you, you couldn’t stop yourself to think that you could have stolen every one of those gifts he gave you. And, if it's that easy to steal, will you really settle for some easy stuff. Weren't you worth at least a or many treasure chests?
It didn’t take long, in a strange way, for you to have your answer.
You had been sent, in the cover of the night, in a stealing or like Luffy prefer to call it, a rescue artifact mission. The mayor of the village you currently stop at asks the straw hat crew for help and there you are, tip-toeing in the almost deserted rival ship, while the others were distracting the crew at the tavern or had your back walking the dock. Even if, when you had left a few minutes ago, Zoro and Sanji were more into annoying each other, than looking at the horizon for possible danger.
The ship was mostly in the dark, helping you as much as causing you troubles. The only sound you could hear, beside the wave crashing slowly against the hull, was a distante snoring you couldn’t exactly pinpoint in the many rooms you had to explore.
You could never have expected that it was in fact not a snore you had heard but the noise of the machine guarding the many treasure chests and the precious artifact.
Entering the room, you couldn’t believe your luck. Everywhere you were looking, open treasure chests full of gold and jewels were calling for you, making you put your guard down. Grabbing the golden statue, you didn’t notice the noise becoming slightly louder as you put a handful of coins in your pocket.
“ Y/N ! Where are you ?! We have to go, it's bad ! “ You heard Sanji, somewhere behind you, his footsteps like he was running.
“ Sanji ? Lower your voice you will wake the sleepy dude somewhere “ You order him, seeing him pass the door.
“ We have to get out now ! It’s not a snore, it's the ship blocking every exit. When I came in, the hull was already covered in metal.” He explained.
“ Shit, it must be something I miss when I check the security...okay okay, hm...take the handle of this chest, I take the other and we can go” You said, already moving to the larger one.
“ What, no we don’t have time for this, we have to go now ! “ He repeat, looking at you confused that you didn’t take more seriously the closing ship problem.
“ Sanji, look at all this gold. I don’t go without it, it could be insanity” You said, confusing yourself that he can’t understand that. “ If you don’t want to fine, I will take it by myself.”
“ Y/N, I don’t leave you behind and that gold is too heavy we have to go, now “ He still patiently tries to make you understand, advancing his hand to reach yours.
“ Think of all the things we could do with that much gold, the quality ingredient you can buy “
“ Not if we are caught there and killed. You worth for me way more than that gold and ingredient, Y/N Please “ He pleaded, taking your free hand. “ Let’s go “
His words at first shock you, after all knowing your worth and not settling for less was almost the motto in your family. But, you had to admit it was right, all the gold was way too heavy and you couldn’t do anything with it if you end up being caught. It was then, still unsure that you took his hand, the artifact in your bag, you ran until you could see the star above your head.
Few hours later, as the villagers were celebrating the return of their precious idol, you find a quiet place on the beach, admiring the stars and waves crashing on the sand. You had heard his footsteps coming your way, recognizable by his controlled but relaxed rhythm, but, you choose to not let him know, you gaze still lost in the wave.
“ Still think about all the gold ? “ Sanji asked, taking a seat by your side. “ I know it isn’t even a quarter but it’s still gold. “
Turning your head, you notice the golden lighter in his hand, the same you had stolen from him the first day. But, your interest toward it has changed, his strange words earlier had stuck a sensible cord changing for you a lot of thought when it came to him.
“ Did you mean it ? What you told earlier “ You asked. “ About me worthing more that all that gold”
“ Of course “ He replied, putting back the lighter in his pocket seeing you hadn’t any interest in it. “ You’re more precious to me than those things. Sure I could have bought many high quality items for my kitchen and cooked dishes with five star ingredients. But it wasn't worth it if it put you in danger and resulted in you not being there anymore to enjoy those meals.”
All your life, gold and treasure had always been given to you on a platter and your stealing service had usually been discussed with a large sum of Berries at the end. Then, the fact that Sanji wasn’t interested in either your talent or the gold but simply in you, was truly shocking to your core.
Turning your gaze on him, seeing him, with the light of the moon illuminating his features gently, you smiled.
“ I knew I should have stolen that silver tongue of yours” You joked, your heartbeat taking a faster beat.
" I’m still afraid I still need it to pre-taste the food, but I gave my heart in exchange” He offered, happily watching you chuckle to his cheesy line.
“ Fine, I accept the trade “ You answer finally “ But I still expected high quality meal “
“ Of course my Princess, I would never give you less than the best, ” Sanji replied, his adoration gaze fixed on you. After all, for him, you’re the most precious thing in the world.

Bucky was waiting for someone like you to come along. Before his accident, he dated a few girls here and there. While it was fun, it was never anything serious because something was missing. The deep connection he wanted wasn't there, no matter how hard he tried to make it work. He wasn't an asshole though. He did his best to never hurt anyone when things had to end.
After his accident, dating came to a bit of a standstill.
The loss of his arm was a shock, but he was lucky in hindsight since he was alive. Between recovery and getting used to functioning with a metal prosthetic, dating wasn't a priority. A couple of riders tried to tease that the ladies would want him more because of how badass he looked. They was right in a way. The pit lizards still occasionally threw themselves at him once he showed the sponsors and fans that his previous injury wouldn't keep him down.
It didn't drive the pain or lingering insecurities away.
And after he finally went out with Dolores, which turned out to be disastrous, he swore off dating for the time being.
Then you showed up and changed his mind.
"Buck!" Steve said as Natasha pulled you away. "You good?"
"Better than good," he said, staring after you until you were out of sight.
He heard you ask Natasha “What the hell just happened?" before she dragged you off and he wondered the same thing. He expected to be in the worst headspace after his run-in with Rumlow, but you turned it all around. He certainly didn't expect to meet a sweet spitfire today.
"You seem distracted," Sam said, smirking at Steve.
"If I'm distracted, it's for a good reason," Bucky said, taking off his helmet. "A very good reason."
"I can't believe you kissed her," Steve smiled slightly. "Well, I kind of get why you did. She's-"
"She's what? Do you want her?" Bucky asked as a swirl of jealousy formed in his gut.
It was similar to how he felt when Rumlow looked you up and down like a piece of meat.
"Didn't think we were calling dibs, but I'm not into her," Steve said, making the brunette let out a breath. "Even if I was, I'm positive she isn't into me."
It wasn't right of Bucky to feel possessive over someone he just met. He had no claim to you. He knew Rumlow was bad news though and not the kind of guy a girl like you deserved.
You don't deserve a guy like me either.
He didn't like to talk about the occasional nightmares he had, how he'd wake up covered in sweat with his heart frantically beating. And though he still did well on the tracks, he hated how on edge he could get before a race. No one should have to deal with that.
"Sorry," he mumbled. He had no reason to snap at his friend.
"Don't be. I was just going to say she seems like the type of girl you've been looking for."
Steve was right.
While Bucky put a hold on dating, he didn't want to give up hope. As if Natasha knew, she had mentioned a new friend in the area. Single. Smart. Not afraid to speak up. The fact that she spoke highly of you intrigued him. He surprised himself when he told Steve he was interested in meeting you.
Now that he had, he felt shattered and whole all at once.
Sam shook his head. "I'll say it again. I hope she knocks your ass in the dirt."
"I kind of hope she does, too," Bucky smiled dreamily. He considered himself lucky that you didn't after he bet a date with you instead of asking you out like a normal person. "Fuck, I wish someone would've recorded her verbally kicking Rumlow in the balls."
Watching you put Maddox in his place was the highlight of his year. Hardly anyone stood up to him, but you did it with ease. He wanted to kiss you then and there and tuck you under his arm when he saw his rival look you over. Even with your insults, the prick wanted you.
Not happening, Rumlow. Fuck off.
"Maybe someone did. You know word spreads fast around here, Hothead," Joaquin joked.
Hothead and Spitfire has a nice ring to it.
Oh, you were a spitfire and he loved it. Which is why it broke his heart when you thought he'd tell you off. All because you gave him your insight on the situation with him and Maddox, which he knew wasn't to hurt his feelings.
You spoke your mind to help, not hurt him.
How many people have told you off for speaking your mind? Who made you feel like you couldn't?
What also struck him was that you defended him without a thought for yourself. It didn't matter that he was strong enough to handle it or that it wasn't your fight. You stepped in and gave him a smile that made him feel like he wasn't alone. It was a feeling that would stick with him long after today.
"Any idea where you plan to take her on your date?" Steve asked.
Bucky smiled to himself. If he asked him that, then he was confident that he was going to win the race. And that you'd agree to really go out with him.
"I don't know, but it needs to be perfect," he said.
He had to make it special, something unforgettable.
"Nat will rip you a new one if you don't do something nice," Sam said.
Bucky swallowed and nodded. "Of course, it'll be nice. It isn't just a fucking bet. I like her."
How could I not?
Beyond standing up for him, you kept up with his banter and pushed exactly the way he needed to be. That was just in the few minutes he spoke with you. And the moment he brushed his lips against yours, he was done for. It wasn't anywhere close to being enough. He wanted to spend hours exploring your mouth and discovering every secret only a lover had the privilege of knowing.
"Did you see how many necks broke trying to look her way? A lot of guys like her," Sam teased, making Bucky scowl slightly.
Nat failed to mention how fucking beautiful you are, especially in that skirt. I'm lucky all the blood in my body didn't rush to my cock.
"Just make sure Rumlow doesn't win," Joaquin gently said.
Rumlow has another thing coming if he thinks he'll lay a finger on you without your permission, Spitfire.
"He won't," Bucky promised.
You had awakened something in him he thought lost or broken. He wasn't about to lose. He just hoped you'd take a chance on him.

Bucky will win the race, right? 😏 Love and thanks! ❤️

Imagine Benny when he realises Pope called you in help on a mission
Tumblr media
"Absolutely not, no." Benny directed his displeasure towards Santi. Knowing this was his doing.
"Ben, please hear me out. I can help," you tried to intercept his anger before he aimed it at Santi. "I've been down here for six months an-"
"Benny I-"
"You what? You've had her here for six months and you didn't tell me." Benny bypassed you, shouting across the room to Santi.
"That's a dick move Santi," Will shook his head, swiftly exiting the room, shortly followed by Frankie and Tom.
"Look, if you guys needed to be involved sooner I would have told you. But if she had regular contact with you it would not have been good for her."
"And what does that mean exactly? You've had her doing what?"
"Santi, please," you tried pleading with him to not dig himself a bigger hole, and you for that matter.
You felt incredibly guilty. But it was an opportunity you couldn't pass up. A chance to go solo and actually try your hand at being right in the middle of the warzone. It what you wanted but working with the Miller brothers had meant you were kept in a kind of bubble. Will because he knew how big of a soft spot his brother had for you, and Benny because of his undeniable crush he had on you. Santi knew this and approached you separately, he probably knew you'd jump at the idea of being pretty much in charge of you own operation. You had kind of used each other if you really thought about it.
"Y/N you weren't even supposed to be back yet. Did they let you go early?" Santi turned his full attention to you, ignoring Benny completely, you felt almost like he was reprimanding you.
"No I finished my count for the day, stayed for a little while and then I asked if I could leave."
"Were you followed?"
"No, I didn't see any of them follow me."
"Just be cause you didn't see them doesn't mean shit."
Benny stood, stopping the conversation between the two of you. "Woah, woah, woah. I'm going to need you to back up a second. Santi, what the hell have you got her doing?"
Rubbing his eyes, Santi looked up from the terrain maps he had laid out in front of him, "you're probably going to punch me for this, Y/N has been here for the last six months as my mole. She's integrated herself into the inner circle of the group. I didn't ask her to do that though, she's come up with that herself. Ben if you'd have known. She never would have got down here and she would have been pissed at you that you stopped her. You can't always keep her in a fucking bubble."
"Santi do you realise what you've done. You've essentially signed her death warrant. There's no way they don't know she's with you." Benny was practically shaking with anger, but rather impressively for him, wasn't looking like he was going to launch himself at Santi. It may well have been outweighed by his worry for you.
"Ben stop." you tried to interject.
"Y/N, why? Do you know how dangerous this is?"
"Yeah I've got a pretty good idea. Not like it's been plain sailing this whole time. Th-"
"It's been fine. You worry to much Benny." Santi very obviously cut you off. Not wanting you to delve too much into the specifics.
Before you knew it Benny had grabbed Santi by the front of his shirt and pushed him back against the nearest wall. "What happened?"
"Dude get the fuck off me." Santi pushed Benny off him, "early on we had a run in with some of the locals. We used it as a way to get Y/N in there. But there were a couple little complications."
"Stop downplaying it Santi cause you're scared of him. Ben, I was in a fairly bad car accident. I was tailing some guys up north and I didn't read the map properly so I didn't have the road layout set in stone. I completely destroyed this car and lost the guys Santi wanted."
"Why didn't you call me?" Benny said lowly, "I would have come in a heartbeat."

I promised more meta of why I think what happened between Moiraine and Siuan this season was Siuan's game, not an actual breaking. So buckle up, we're talking about Rand and why his moms were arguing in front of him.
I believe the meeting between Moiraine and Siuan, the one in front of Rand was staged to a certain degree. I'm not sure they were able to discuss details in the previous meeting, but the general idea of Rand not trusting Moiraine, not trusting Aes Sedai is not that hard to communicate, even if there are people that might be listening. Anyway, they made the scene quite believable, but at the same time Siuan said everything Rand was afraid Moiraine was.
To Daes Dae'Mar ot not to Daes Dae'Mar?
The moment Moiraine enters she commands Siuan (the Amyrlin Seat nonetheless) to release Rand. Siuan says "no". And then Moiraine accuses Siuan of not being able to protect Rand from the Reds. Which Siuan dodges rather unconvincingly. She starts talking about some rules they should obey. But she never specifies the rules she means. We only assume it's about caging the Dragon. And so does Rand, because that's what they were talking about, but Siuan never confirms that in any other way. I bet there're multiple rules that are equally old, like facing the Dark One's powers in the Last Battle for that matter. Which is interesting since the episode is called Daes Dae'Mar...
After that Moiraine explains to Siuan what were their tasks in a way that even someone who hears about it for the fist time would understand. Coincidentally they have someone like that kneeling on the floor, listening to the conversation. Moiraine goes to the very personal question, we can see Siuan is taken aback by suggestion she might have forgotten that day. Their argument looks quite real at that point.
Tumblr media
Then it's Siuan's turn. She makes Moiraine vulnerable in the eyes of Rand, revealing Moiraine was stilled, and incapable of using her power on Rand. Rand that is at the very moment shielded form the One Power by an Aes Sedai who moments earlier informed him any Aes Sedai would be able to do this to him. Any, but not Moiraine.
She goes even deeper. You can't control him. You can't guide him. Everything that Rand is afraid Moiraine is trying to do to him, she's incapable of doing right now, She's no threat to him. It's no accident the camera focuses on him during this part of Siuan's speech. At that moment he realized he can actually trust Moiraine, because there is nothing she can do to him. She can't use her power to control him. And by supporting him she is going against the White Tower rules (about which he just has learned thanks to Siuan). So there is no reason for her to cage him in Tar Valon. Siuan made herself a villain, she took all Rand's fears upon herself, and left Moiraine free of them. And it works so well. Rand not only helps Moiraine to get her powers back, he stands up to Lanfear protecting Moiraine, deciding to take her with him. In exactly the same situation, before his meeting with Siuan, he dumped Moiraine and decided to do what Lanfear told him. All it took to change that was two conversations, one with him and another between Moiraine and Siuan that he witnessed.
Tumblr media
It's in the title
Just look at it. How conveniently it all worked out at the end. Moiraine is chasing Rand all over the continent, trying to make him see reason, but he is stubborn, he does not trust her, he feels betrayed by everything she does, even if it is to help him. Then he meets Siuan in the episode called Daes Dae'Mar. Siuan that is the Amyrlin Seat. Which should make her one of the best in the game of houses. She balances on the knife for so long, she mastered the way of lying without telling a single lie. So, after a conversation with that very person, in this very episode, Rand changes his attitude towards Moiraine.
Rand needed to see that Moiraine is no threat to him, he knew her, he could believe that. He would never believe that the Tower and other Aes Sedai are on his side. But that wasn't necessary. All that was needed at that point was for Rand to trust Moiraine, to have her with him, because otherwise she would not be able to complete her part of the mission. And I do think it would be too much of a strech to assume it was all an accident, and not an actual, cunning plan of two masters of a Daes Dae'Mar.

Nostalgic Memories
Child!Malleus Draconia & Fem!MC!Reader
Tumblr media
Prompt/Note: Based on this one, Tik Tok (yeah, I downloaded it as a joke but got sucked in) I found where Lilia accidentally splashes a potion onto Malleus and Malleus becomes like a 7-8-year-old? And I couldn't help but think what would happen if MC had to take care of little Malleus?
I'll probably make a chapter two if I think of more plot to go off of. I just want to hug child Malleus because it's pretty much common sense he must have been very lonely during his childhood.
Cheers!
This could not be true.
Malleus was a centuries-old six-foot-tall fae.
Now, the fae before you was three times younger, and three times smaller. You really hadn't expected to be called in by Lilia to discover this.
You knew it was Malleus since he still had his large horns and his bright emerald eyes. When his eyes locked with yours, you could see his eyes widen with recognition.
He rushed over to you and wrapped his arms around your hips, ducking his head in a sort of shy hug.
"Ma-Malleus is a child?" Your question aimed at Lilia, "How did this happen?"
"It was an honest accident--the vial had overspilled and droplets landed on Malleus' skin. Bless the Seven it was simply a de-aging spell," Lilia explained.
"It's a shame what happened to the young master!" Sebek wailed. He honestly looked close to crying too.
"The unfortunate thing is he does not remember anything until he was seven centuries old, and there is no available cure. Mr. Crewel claimed it would only last a week or so, but until then it's impossible for anyone to see him. We can't risk Malleus being seen in the public eye like this," Lilia sighed heavily.
You looked down at Malleus who was still holding onto your skirt like he was afraid of letting you go. With a gentle hand, you pet his head between his smaller version of horns. Malleus let go only to raise his arms up signaling he wanted to be picked up.
You smiled and granted him, leaning down to gently scoop him up and onto your side. He seemed to be attracted to your necklace, fidgeting and examining it.
"Malleus seems to be quite attached to you, when he was this age he was quite shy but still curious." Lilia chuckled.
You smiled down at Malleus and he shyly smiled back, his pale, chubby cheeks flush with a rosy pink color. His eyes seemed softer and larger, even his pointed ears were large compared to his body.
Your brows knitted as you realized something, "Then...why am I here?"
"Malleus would be safer at the Ramshackle Dorm than in Diasomnia. Your dorm is empty other than you and your monster friend--perhaps we could stay there for a while?"
"We?"
"Of course, the young master would need supervision! He is vulnerable and defenseless being any easily trusting child and we must protect him at all costs from anyone who dares to create harm upon him!" How Sebek could monologue so long and so loudly without being winded was an unanswerable curiosity.
Malleus grew bored of your necklace and instead examined your ear gently pinching the tip.
"I...Well, you have no other choice do you..." You sighed, "Fine. But I'll need to discuss this with Grimm first."
"Excellent! I'll start packing!" Lilia giggled before hurrying off.
Oh dear god, what did I get myself into...?...
Sure enough, it took a bit of convincing to get Grim to agree to Malleus and his retainers' stay at the dorm.
Half a dozen tuna cans later and he agreed.
Sure enough, the very second Sebek saw his room he was displeased. All the spare guest rooms had a thin layer of dust everywhere from lack of use but the bed sheets were freshly washed and the window was open to allow fresh air in.
Silver seemed rather unperturbed since he could literally sleep anywhere. Lilia knew just a simple sweep of magic would fix it up.
For young Malleus he was absolutely delighted to be staying in your dorm. As soon as he saw the building in the distance his eyes widened and a wide smile grew on his face.
Since the others were busy with their rooms you offered to help Malleus as he explored. With a big flap, the duvet floated down onto the bed. You tucked in the edges and smoothed any big wrinkles.
"Human!" Sebek barked causing you to jump.
You didn't even hear him walk to the door.
"Sebek?"
"I wish to discuss with you," The knight said.
"Can that wait just a few minutes, I have to finish making the bed." You passed the fae to the other side of the bed to tuck the excess under.
"No. We must discuss this now. I find it odd how the young master requested to see you. Yet I do not believe he met you before NRC."
You paused and gave him a look before finishing tucking in the corner.
"No, I didn't meet him until after I settled into Night College." You answered.
You wiped your hands on the front of your pants before grabbing the pillows on the floor.
"Then why did Malleus request for you? How did he know you?" Sebek demanded.
"You ask as if I know and honestly I don't, I mean maybe he just likes my vibes? My mother always said I was a kid magnet." You shrugged.
Before Sebek could speak further Malleus came rushing in nearly knocking down Sebek like a bowling pin. At first, you were concerned it was urgent at how fast he came rushing in, but there was a big smile on his face.
It was rare to see Malleus smile, to see his younger version smiling so sweetly made you wonder why he ever stopped.
"What's up Malleus?" You asked, noticing he had his hands behind his back.
You crouched down and smiled patiently.
"Malleus brought a gift for you!" Lilia announced from the doorway.
"For me? What is it?" You asked.
"For you." From behind his back, he pulled out a few picked roses.
"For me? How lovely!" You awed gently taking them from his hand.
The fresh flowers against your nose smelled just as lovely as you imagined.
"These will be perfect for an empty vase in my room. You're too sweet." You pet his head and Malleus smiled with a blush across his cheeks.
Sebek seemed envious of you but said nothing...
Later that night you were snuggled up in bed. Grimm was behind your knees taking up as much space as possible.
All was calm and quiet.
A tiny creak from the door woke you up to make you aware of a presence. You heard the soft falls of feet crossing the area rug before we arrived at your bed. You listened to a slight grunt before a small body pulled on the sheets.
Your eyes cracked open just enough to watch Malleus climb up onto the bed using the sheets. Once he was up he crawled over to you and gently laid down beside you.
You yawned and shifted showing the young fae you were awake.
"Malleus? What's wrong?" You asked.
"I didn't want to sleep alone." The boy answered, "I'm sorry for waking you."
"No, no it's fine." You sighed.
"A-Are you going to send me back to my room?" Malleus asked almost nervously.
"Hm? Why would I? You said you'd feel better if you slept with someone."
Malleus beamed and snuggled up close, resting his head on your chest.
"You just wanted cuddles, hm? Why not ask Lilia?" You teased wrapping your arm around him.
"You're much more comfy." He said shyly.
"I don't mind. Come on, let's get some rest."
Malleus closed his eyes and breathed in your familiar scent; roses, lilacs, vanilla, and citrus.
The woman in white.
She had gracefully knelt down to wipe away his tears. Just her smile wiped any fear he had in an instant.
She had taken his hand and led him away from the heart of the thorny forest. White butterflies fluttered around him making him giggle and smile.
He heard the call of his caretaker, Lilia, and he ran to find the fae. When he turned around to thank the woman, she was gone in the wind.
Yet he never could feel as safe and relaxed as he did when he was with her.
The same feeling of safety and comfort he could feel from you...

Jean and Sara finding out their S/O was a former Fatui Harbinger
Tumblr media
Nah it's not complicated at all! Thanks for the ask @emotionallyglued, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Jean always knew there was something up with her S/O.
But she couldn't have imagined it was anything as shocking as the actual reveal.
She had hit their belongings by accident in their room trying to organize the place.
Jean knelt down to put it back until realizing there was the symbol of the Fatui.
She immediately reached for it and opened the bag, seeing a uniform and a small bracelet of their Vision inside.
Though...there was something else?
It looked like a Vision as well, but there was something sinister about it.
Jean had no idea what it was, but she could only guess it was something given to them only as a Fatui member.
She got up and was about to head out the door before S/O came in.
(S/O) "Oh, hey Jean. Something the ma-...Oh."
(Jean) "S/O, what in the world is this?"
(S/O) "That's when I was a Harbinger."
(Jean) "What?!"
(S/O) "...O-Oh. Okay I know that sounds bad-"
(Jean) "Explain yourself, now."
S/O began to explain to her what had happened. After many years in service to the Tsaritsa, they decided it was time to call it quits.
They faked their own death and had everything changed about them, even down to their looks.
Their belongings is the only proof that they ever existed. Other than that?
S/O was a free man/woman.
(S/O) "Think of it as a retirement, Jean."
Jean looked at them suspiciously, making S/O sigh.
(S/O) "Jean. I know who I was before must not be comforting. I wouldn't be surprised if you hated me now. But I love you, and Mondstadt. I swear to you, I'd never betray you."
Jean couldn't keep looking them in the eyes as she sighed.
(Jean) "And I love the man/woman you are. But right now, am I speaking to a spy, or you?"
(S/O) "Me, Jean. Ever since we first met. It's always just been me. I'd never take up arms unless this city, Barbara, or you were in danger."
(Jean) "..."
(S/O) "I'll...I'll leave you alone-"
Jean grabbed their hand and pulled them into an embrace.
(Jean) "Why didn't you just tell me?"
(S/O) "Believe me, I've wanted to for so long..."
Jean felt them hug back.
(S/O) "P-Plus, how am I even supposed to bring that up? 'Hey honey, I'm a supersoldier from a country you hate!' Hehehe...he..."
She stopped hugging and glared at them.
(S/O) "...Bad taste?"
(Jean) "Very."
Tumblr media
Sara knew by the way S/O fought that they were holding back. Far too much.
At first she was insulted when they sparred until realizing that they almost lost themselves everytime a fight started to get even the slightest bit serious.
It made her uneasy. This wasn't anything like getting a 'good fight' like with that idiot oni.
This was something far more dangerous.
It made her suspicious, wanting to bring up to them somehow. But deciding to beat around the bush wasn't going to solve anything.
(Sara) "S/O we need to have a talk. Follow me."
Going to a secluded area, Sara crossed her arms and stared at S/O.
(S/O) "What's wrong?"
(Sara) "What is it with you and fighting? Why are you holding back?"
Honestly, she knew that answer already.
What she didn't know is their history. Their real history. S/O has talked about their family, their likes, the normal stuff. But never their fighting prowess.
S/O looked around to make sure they were completely alone first.
(S/O) "Promise not to tell anyone?"
Now she was getting even more suspicious.
(Sara) "...I do."
Sighing, they held out what looked like a Vision in their hands.
(S/O) "Do you know what this is?"
(Sara) "...?!"
A Delusion.
(S/O) "Before I came to Inazuma, I was part of the Fatui Harbingers."
(Sara) "And you waited now to tell me?!"
(S/O) "Because I wasn't sure how'd you react, Sara! One of them tried to kill you after all."
(Sara) "Hmph. And so how did you think not telling me this would help?"
(S/O) "I want to protect you, Sara!"
Her eyes slightly widened.
(S/O) "...I can't let you get hurt because of me. There's no telling what would happen if people did find out about me, much less the Fatui. They're supposed to think I'm dead. And I want to keep it that way."
(Sara) "Then we did not have this conversation."
She turned around and walked away, leaving S/O alone.
Sara stopped herself, sighing and turning back to them.
(Sara) "...Thank you for telling me, S/O."

so, im both aro and ace (despite the amount of sex jokes and calling people hot, still asexual)
well, this is a long story, sorry in advance
so, im talking to this friend (A) here, he says something that is sooo aro-coded, and im like "this guy is probably aro-spec too and maybe he doesnt know so lets help a little" and i tell him to read loveles because 'the main character is very relatable', he ends up with him knowing about aro identities, he questioned his own sexuality before and he isnt aro, but with the 'very relatable' part i sold myself out as aro, and he wasnt arophobic (he literally said he almost used the label so) so it was okay
fast forward a year , we are talking, sexuality ends up as a topic, and i confess i didnt come up to anyone, the only people who knew were him and another friend who found out by accident (really supportive, even though im not sure that i was ready), he ask about this other friend of ours (B) and why i didnt come out to her, considering she is queer herself. i think im not ready to do that, both times i came out were not intentional and though it didnt end up badly still, not ready, also, my relationship with this friend is, well we mostly talk about gossip and all of her crushes, boyfriends, etc., basically it was purely sexual acts and romance, not my favourite topic of conversation but i we dont have anything in common outside shared memories (childhood besties) and school and we are both pretty unpopular so no more people) plus we never talk deep shit so i felt weird bring it up
few days later, the three of us were in class and talking about our teachers (and shipping them cause we are nosy), we get to his teacher and i say that i couldnt picture her with an special other and A says "like asexual, you mean", (it was more like aro but i didnt feel like explaining the difference plus i was panicking a little because i knew where this was going) and A countinues "B, what do you think of asexual people?", B says something in support, and then he asks me "[my name] do you know any asexual people in real life?" with a look on his face saying 'come out', i kinda evade the question so he asks B if she knew any, and B answers she had the theory that i was ace (i mean, she was right). i didnt know what to do so i made a joke "was it so obvious?"
i dont think i was ready to come out to her and i didnt want it to happen, but the conversation didnt end up bad, she was supportive but still i wasnt ready. i dont think it counts as getting outed because he just forced the conversation that way but didnt really say "[my name] is aroace", but i dont know of B hadnt mentioned her theory, would he had outed me?
i dont know how to feel, im basically venting, maybe do you have any advice for this situation?
I really don't think anyone should make you come out if you don't want to do it and it's supposed to be your choice so this sounds like something you should really talk about with friend A and explain to him that you didn't want to come out yet and that this wasn't okay. It is lucky that friend B was supportive though because this type of situation is even messier when the other person is not supportive. But even so it's still a gamble because most of the time you can't predict how someone will react and it's better to not take the risk of coming out to someone, let alone put someone else at risk. I hope you can talk this through with friend A

I love your blog! and I got a request if that's alright.
Where Preston tells reader that Jesse died in the accident (cuz he's in love with her and wants to have her for himself) and reader gets really depressed and can't stop crying and Preston tells Jesse that reader left. And when Jesse decides to go home again after months, he's suprised to see reader and reader is suprised to see Jesse.
Angst with a happy ending, my favourite!
Back in his arms (Jesse Cromeans (Chromeskull) x Reader):
As soon as the words left Preston's mouth, your world crashed down around you. He hadn't even passed the threshold of the home you share, shared, with Jesse. He stood on your doorstep, informing you of the unfortunate events of Jesse's last trip. From the few details he gave you, to spare you the morbid parts, everything had gone wrong, Jesse was critically injured and didn't survive the operation once the Organisation got to him.
You didn't know Preston very well, you had met him many times because he worked closely with Jesse, but it wasn't like you were close. You knew that Jesse didn't trust him completely but he must have trusted him enough to keep him working so close. And not for a moment did you think that Preston could lie to you about such a thing.
After hearing the news, you just broke down. A sob tearing through your throat as tears streamed down your cheeks. You didn't even question it, didn't have the mind to question it, when Preston wrapped his arms around you and pulled you towards him. You couldn't do anything but sob into his chest.
The man had remained with you until it got dark, comforting you, attempting to take care of you. However, once it got dark you started to find his presence suffocating and insisted that you just need to be alone for a while. Preston had been...hesitant, telling you that you 'shouldn't be alone right now' but you insisted and he left, assuring you he would come by to check on you. After all, that's what Jesse would have wanted, right?
-
Searing pain was followed by darkness, then a bright light. Jesse squinted, his eyes hurting from the intense white light, slowly becoming aware of his surroundings. Soon he could focus in on the voices, talking in medical terms. He relaxed slightly, figuring he had been picked up and was being treated by the organisation.
A few days passed since he first woke up from his surgeries and the medical team deemed that he was healing well and was beginning the long journey to recovery.
Once he was out of the haze the medication had him under, Preston came to visit him. As soon as Preston stepped into the room, Jesse grabbed his phone, beginning to type something in.
'Send for Y/n. Let them know what happened and that I'm alright' the robotic voice ordered.
Preston sighed, shifting slightly. "I'm sorry, sir. We sent for Y/n as soon as we had you in surgery...they left" he informed his boss.
'Left?'
"Apparently they weren't confident about your condition or your chances of recovery, the inevitable scarring was mentioned. We went back to bring them here but when we arrived at the house, they and their belonging were gone" Preston explained, knowing that his Boss wouldn't react well to the news.
'Out' the text to speech demanded.
With a nod, Preston left the room, flinching at the sound of something smashing inside the room.
-
Months passed but Jesse had recovered enough from his injuries to return home, though he wasn't sure if he could call it that anymore. The large house he lived in had just been a place to rest between trips, it was you that made it a home.
Still, he wanted to go home and collect somethings at least before leaving for...well, he wasn't sure yet.
Jesse knew he had been a nightmare of a boss, even more so than usual, since finding out about you leaving. He was bitter that you would leave him when things went bad, but after seeing the extent of his injuries, the scars that would never heal, he was almost thankful that you had left. At least you wouldn't have to see him like this.
Jesse walked up to the front door, unlocking it before stepping inside. Everything was how he remembered it, of course, except there was no you running into his arms to greet him.
-
You were taking part in your usual daily routine, wallowing in your self pity, mourning the loss of the man you love. It was the sound of the front door opening that brought you out of your daze, a sound you hadn't heard since Preston stopped coming around. He said that the Organisation was busy, planning what to do next, but he would visit when he could. Though, you truly didn't care if he came back again.
Maybe it was just Preston, maybe you had forgotten to lock the door, you had been out of sorts for the last few months. Quietly, you moved through the house, hearing another noise coming from the kitchen.
Peaking your head around the door way, you saw a familiarly large figure with his back to you. For a moment you thought you were hallucinating, the tall bald figure in a familiar black suit.
It couldn't be...you knew that, but still a small part of you hoped that what you were seeing was real.
"...Jesse?" your voice was quiet and unsure, hands trembling as you stepped out into the kitchen.
The figure turned around suddenly, hand touching the left side of his shoulder holster where you knew he kept his beloved knives. The two of you froze as you locked eyes.
It was Jesse...that much you could make out, but he looked very different. Thankfully, you had pried more information out of Preston about the accident that caused Jesse's death. You didn't know why but you just had to know. He had told you that somebody had tricked him, put something in his mask that caused it to stick to his face and act like acid. He said that the injuries were so severe that Jesse didn't survive, but now he was standing right in front of you. Apparently, only part of what Preston had told you was true, according to the scarring on his face.
He was honest about the injuries being severe as well. The acid like glue had eaten away at Jesse's face, pretty much leaving him unrecognisable, but you recognised him, you always would.
Jesse was stunned, not only to see you still in your shared home but also to see that state you were in. Preston had made it sound like you had coldly left when you thought Jesse might die or return disfigured, but here you were, seemingly devastated over something.
You were wearing a pair of his sweatpants and one of his dress shirts, both of which were comically large on you, as if you just needed something to feel closer to him. It looked like you hadn't been taking care of yourself, looking gaunt. Though, you still looked perfectly angelic compared to him.
"Jesse" you sounded more sure in your assumption despite the sob that left you.
Jesse wasn't sure how to react for the first time in his life, because he didn't know how you would react to seeing him and his new appearance. He definitely hadn't reacted well to it when he first got the chance to look in the mirror.
It was like some unseen force moved your feet, your mind barely able to keep up as you sprinted across the kitchen, throwing yourself in Jesse's chest, wrapping your arms around your waist. The unexpected impact caused Jesse to step back and regain his balance, but his arms natural came to wrap around your shaking frame.
"I thought you were dead" you sobbed, voice muffled by the material of his shirt. Tenderly, Jesse ran a hand over your hair, holding you tighter to his body, refusing to let you go again.
After allowing your brain the chance to catch up and understand what was going on, you began to calm down. Still, you didn't let go of him as you pulled away from his embrace.
"Oh Jesse..." you frowned, eyes full of sorrow and love, as you took in his appearance, "what happened to you?" Jesse pulled away from you, reluctantly tearing his hands away to sign that his mask had been tampered with. "So, that part of Preston's story was true" you muttered, hands coming up to rest gently on either side of his neck.
Jesse couldn't look away from you, you were complete opposite of what Preston's story had made you out to be. It seemed that you had both be lied too...
You gasped slightly but didn't complain as Jesse hoisted you off of the ground and sat you down on the kitchen counter. You sniffled softly as Jesse wiped the tears away from your cheeks.
It wasn't until you touched a hand to his own cheek that he looked away, as if suddenly ashamed of his new appearance. "Jesse, please don't look away from me. I just wanted you to be alive and you are" you confessed, gently turning his face back towards you. "Does it hurt?" you asked, he only shrugged, as if telling you 'a little'.
"I'm so sorry Jesse" you couldn't imagine the pain he was in and you just wished you could have been by his side as he recovered. "I love you so much" you threw your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you as you buried your face into his shoulder.
He just held you for a while longer, both cherishing the feeling of having you back in his arms as well as putting the pieces together to figure out why Preston had told these lies. Of course, the answer wasn't a difficult one to figure out.
Once you had calmed down again, Jesse pulled away from you so that he was able to sign easier. 'Preston told me that you had left after you heard about the accident' in informed you, making your eyes widened.
"What? No. He told me that you were dead, I've barely even left the house in months...he's been visiting me to check on me..." you informed Jesse. "What would he do that?" you asked.
'He's envious. He thought I couldn't be Chromeskull anymore, he wanted to take my place. Either he's hoping I would die from my injuries or he would kill me. It seems that he wanted to take my place in more ways than one' Jesse explained, you watching his hands intently as you tried to understand the man's motives.
"That...kinda explains a lot...he's been kinda weird" you recalled, now realising he had been trying to worm himself into your life since the very beginning. "God, he's such a creep!" you cringed, disgusted by the man.
A look of determination took over your face as you cupped Jesse's in your hands, looking him in the eyes. "Preston could never take your place, not as Chromeskull, and not in my life. He just wishes he were you but he never can be. The fact that he thought I would ever be with him just proves how deluded he is" you ranted, disgust at Preston but adoration for Jesse both clear in your words.
You couldn't help but smile when you noticed Jesse's scarred mouth tugging into one of his own. Even now, you thought his smile was beautiful, that he was handsome. Preston had truly underestimated how devoted you are to Jesse, devoted in a way that nobody would ever be to him.
'I should have known better, that you wouldn't have left. I love you' his signs made you smile even brighter.
"I love you too, more than anything, and I always will" you promised, leaning up to press a tender kiss to his sensitive lips. "What will you do with Preston?" you asked quietly, knowing that Jesse would never let him live after this.
'I already have some ideas. You'll message him, tell him you're having a hard day and need somebody to talk too. I'll deal with him from there' Jesse told you, a sinister look flashing in his eyes before softening again, 'but that's for another day. We've missed each other for months...'
"You're right" you smiled softly, resting your forehead against his. "I just want to think about you right now...I can't believe I have you back" you sighed, feeling Jesse's arms wrap around your waist, holding you close again.
Jesse didn't have to say anything for you to know that he felt the same way. For months he had pictured you by his side, only making him more bitter during that time, but now you were here. Back in his arms, were you were made to be.

r slowly falling in love with blind!max mayfield...
thoughts?
YES OMG YES, also you said thoughts and I spent way to much time on this...
That's brilliant, because in S5, she will most likely be blind, and may have some other health issues due to A STUPID FUCKER NAMED JASON CARVER WHO TRIED TO KILL LUCAS WHILE LUCAS WAS WITH MAX. AND IF WE GOT RID OF JASON MAX WOULD BE PERFECTLY FINE AND HER WALKMAN WOULD HAVE FUCKING SAVED HER
Also, in this one Vecna died in S4
Blind!Max Mayfield x Reader
May 4, 1988 (Yn's pov, with a little bit of Max's pov)
----------------------------------------------------------
Max was at the park again today. You had only had a brief conversation with her. She had lost her sight in a car accident, it just happened to have happened outside the old Creek house.
You shake off the thoughts, the thoughts that what she was saying wasn't true, and go talk to her. Your footsteps are loud so she doesn't get to spooked.
"Max, it's Yn," you call out when you are only a few feet away. She turns to the direction that your voice came from and you see a ghost of a smile on her face.
"Hey Yn," Max offers a small wave. You wave back, and then mentally kick yourself, she can't see your wave. You were an idiot.
"How's your Mom?" You ask. Her Mom had been so freaked out after everything. This town really was cursed, and Max's poor mom. Her step son was killed in a tragic mall fire, her husband left her, and her daughter was almost killed. You didn't blame her for drinking.
"Steve dropped me off," Max replies and you sit down next to her. You knew what that meant. Her Mom wants doing well, most likely still asleep, that was why Max had called Steve.
It had taken Max a week to have Steve's phone number memorized, it took her a month to learn how to use the phone without her sight.
She learned braille after a while. A little book of phone numbers sits next to the phone. All I'm braille, a reminder of what Vecna had done.
"I could give you my number and I could pick you up next time? Only if you want," you say. God, you sounded like an idiot. You just wanted to help her, not in a pity way. You just knew she hated being helpless.
"I can't read," she reminds with a laugh, you let out a little laugh to.
"I know braille, let me write it down," you say and grab the little notepad in your pocket. You scribble down the number and hand it to her.
She runs her fingers over it and you can see a small smile appear on her face. She couldn't believe you knew braille, or even would be willing to drive her.
Max heard a honk and got up, "Thanks Yn," she says and grabs her walking stick before slinging her backpack over her shoulder and leaving. You smile and say goodbye.
It was nice to have a friend.
-------------------------------------------------
May 4, 1988 (Steve's Pov)
Steve honked the horn and saw Max with a girl, he recognized the girl. He had seen her and Max talking a few times before.
He saw Max get up and grab her stuff, slowly walking back to his car. She usually called him or one of the other boys to drive her to the park on the weekend.
She didn't usually let Steve stay, and Steve didn't know why the park. She said it was peaceful.
"Thanks Steve," Max says when she gets in the car. Steve notices she looks a little happy.
"It's no problem, really. It's not like I have anything better to do," Steve told the girl. It was true, when he wasn't working he didn't do much other then hang out with the kids.
Max then slipped in her walkman, and Steve knew she was done talking. She hadn't been very open to anybody about anything.
Pushing everybody away, Steve was worried about max.
----------------------------------------------------------
May 29, 1988 (Yn's Pov)
You had been seeing Max every saturday. She was always dropped off by some guy she said was Steve, but today she was dropped off by a curly haired boy. He had brown hair, and he looked like he was only 16 or so.
"Max," you say and she waves in the direction of your voice. Over the last few months you had known her she had always been good at knowing where the voice had come from.
Max walks over, and sits next to you, "Hey, Yn," she says with a smile. You notice she seems more happy then usual.
Her shoulders aren't hunched, she's sitting up straight. Her smile is wider, and lasts longer.
"Who was the kid?" You ask. You had never seen him before. She hadn't told you much of her past, other then a mom who was trying her best and Steve. She told you about Steve a lot.
"Dustin, he is apart of this friend group I used to hang out with a lot," Max replies. She had mentioned there were some kids she used to be close with, but she told you she didn't talk with many people anymore.
"Oh, that's cool," you say and she laughs a little. You didn't know what was funny.
"He's pretty awesome," she says. You were slightly confused but went with it. He probably stood up to some bullies, or he is popular in school. Maybe she even has a crush on him.
"I like your laugh," you say and she blushes. She mumbles a thanks. Her laugh was a nice sound. Kind of like hearing your mom's voice after a long day.
"I haven't seen you at school before," Max comments and then laughs, "I mean I told Lucas about you and he hasn't ever even seen you," Max says and you tell her you go to a school a few miles from there.
"Oh, that cool," Max says in reply. You both carry on in some basic small talk, and she tells you about her old friend group.
She talks until you hear the telltale honk, and see Dustin. He waves, and you wave back. You hand max her backpack as she grabs her waking stick.
"Bye, Yn," Max says.
"See you Saturday," you reply.
----------------------------------------------------------
June 1, 1988 (Yn's Pov with more some thoughts from Max)
You were sitting at home after school. Completely bored out of your mind when you heard your phone ring.
You picked it up, "This is Yn,"
"Uh, hey it's max?" The girl says and you recognize her voice.
"Oh! Hey," you tell her
"I called four other people before I get your number right," she laughs and you let out a little snort.
"Shit," you say in reply.
"Um, you said I could calm if I needed a ride?" Max almost asks.
"I am your own personal chauffeur," you say.
"Cool, do you want to maybe go to the diner? Steve said he saw one around the park," Max says and you smile.
"Where do I need to pick you up from?"
--
You were deciding between a strawberry and a vanilla milkshake. Max had picked a strawberry.
"Screw it, strawberry," you told the waiter. He smiled at you and ran to go out in your orders.
"This place seems pretty nice," you tell her. She smiles at you.
"Steve had a shitty time with women, but he can pick a place to eat," Max says with a small laugh.
You giggle in response. You both engage in small talk, how's school, what did you do last night, the basics.
The waiter brings out your milkshakes and you thank him before putting the straw in Max's and handing it to her.
"Oh, thanks," Max says and smiles again as she tries it, "I pick the best milkshake flavors," she jokes and upon trying yours, she is definitely right.
"So, are you and Lucas still a thing?" You ask nonchalantly. She had mentioned that they dated, never saying if they still were
"No, we were on and off for a few years, we finally decided we were better off as friends," Max tells you before taking another sip of her milkshake.
"Few years?" You ask in shock and she nods. A few years? No guy had been interested in you for more then a week or two.
You both finished your milkshakes, you left some cash on the table, and went out to the car. Max thanked you for taking her out, and you told her it was no problem.
You made basic small talk, nothing special. But max was. After everything she had been through, everything she had lost, she was still happy and smiling.
----------------------------------------------------------
August 28, 1988 (Yn's Pov)
You had been driving Max to the park every Saturday, and Wednesday. You both went there to hang out, and sometimes would stop by the diner before hand to pick up lunch or milkshakes.
But today Steve had wanted to drive Max. Either he missed her or he had something to tell her.
"Okay, Yn. I need to tell you something," Max says and you can tell by the way she is fidgeting that something is wrong. Very wrong.
"You know you can tell me anything," you say. You liked her, you didn't know how it happened. You had always enjoyed her laugh, smile, just being with her.
"You know that girl? Barb, the one who disappeared a while ago? The government cover up was a lie. Same with the mall fire, and same with me," Max says before she tells you everything.
Barb wasn't killed by a chemical leak. She was killed by some beast that drug her to another world. A parallel universe, something called the Upside Down. It had Demo-Dogs and Demogorgons, monster bats and a thing called Vecna.
And it wasn't a mall fire, it was the Mind Flayer. Any death that has occurred in the last five years, was most likely due to the alternate universe.
"Are you okay?" You ask. Having been through all of that, there was no way it didn't take a huge toll on your mental health.
"What? No, I'm fine just blind," she replies a little confused. She was fine, minor side effects. She was still better then Bob, and better then Billy.
"Not physically, mentally. How is your mental health?" You say and she lets out a sad laugh.
"It's complete shit," she replies and you grab her hand she blushes and you start to recall your hand, "No, it's nice," she says.
You feel heat creeping onto your cheeks and are thankful she can't see how much you are blushing.
"I think I like you, more then just like a friend," Max admits and you smile. She liked you back.
"Can I kiss you?" You ask and Max replies by leaning in to kiss you. You find her lips and softly kiss her before pulling away, both breathless.
"That's it, wow," You say and Max sighs.
"Incredible," max says with another happy sigh. You both hear a car honks, Steve had driven max this time.
Max gets up and grabs her stuff before slowly waving and walking back, you tell a bye and she yells back.
You would see her again in a few days and couldn't wait. You would definitely be calling her tonight.

August 28, 1988 (Stevie's pov)
Steve had waited a minute before honking after the girls kissed. He knew they liked each other, he knew from the second he noticed how Max was happier.
He couldn't be more happy as he honked and Max came, as fast as she could. The girls waved bye, and Steve swore his heart grew Three sizes.
They were in love, young love was so cute to watch. Watching Max and Yn, it would be nice after everything they had been through.

I spent hours on this, and I have no regrets. Not a single one.
Please reblog this if you enjoyed.
My requests are open, if you check my pinned post it has all of the people and fandoms I write for.

Shoutout to MK for immediately gathering his friends after Monkey King was sealed into the scroll! Even if it was dangerous, he called them and didn‘t try to do everything himself!
CHARACTER DEVELOPEMENT /pos
let‘s see how long that lasts. I‘m expecting some CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT /neg sometime in the future. I mean, sure, it looks like Wukong started his healing arc. but MK ? Not so much
Sure he had been hoping it would be something small. But he was lying to himself and knew it, the thing overpowered Wukong in 5 seconds flat after all.
But he still ended up being seperated from everyone.
Somehow it legitimately feels like a decent chunk of the season focused on how MK was different from his mentor but still ends up making similar choices… almost like he can‘t escape being like Wukong. Being worse than Wukong. Like it‘s desti- 💥get‘s shot💥
Both MK and Monkey want/ed things to stay as they are. Only MK wants to keep that by staying as he himself is now too, while Wukong wanted to become stronger to protect what he has.
But the world is going to mold MK into one of the most powerful beings to exist whether he wants to or not. It‘ll drag him down kicking and screaming if it has to.
Wukong leaving to get stronger vs. MK leaving because he‘s too strong and doesn’t want to hurt anyone.
Wukong leaving his friends behind by choice vs. MK‘s friends being taken from him, time and time again, even when he asks for help.
Young Wukong intentionally aggravating powerful beings and causing massive destruction vs. MK doing the exact same thing entirely on accident. When he‘s trying to help even.
FIGHT.
On one hand, MK leaning on his friends at the beginning of s4 seems like a good thing (and it partly is!), "we're stronger together" and all that. On the other, I can't help but feel part of MK's reliance on his friends—which alone isn't necessarily a bad thing—comes from a place of "I can't do anything on my own" (thank you trigram furnace scene). MK is this very interesting mixed bag, where he wants to be right by his friends sides yet in the same vein believes he should be able to do it without them.
MK leaving in 4x08 was out of the belief that "everything he does just makes things worse", and that if he had stayed he would eventually hurt the people he cares about. In ROTSQ MK went off on his own to procure the trigram furnace to try and prove that he could do it alone.
Mirror MK: "Listen, every time we get in trouble, we turn to Monkey King or our friends or SOMEONE. They tell us a story and we find that smidge of motivation we need. Well—now we're on our own. It's just you."
Ultimately, both of these decisions come from the same place: MK's lack of belief in himself. In s2 and s3 he's not strong enough, but in s4 when he finally has more power he's "too strong", he's "destined to cause nothing but pain and suffering".
I think back to the 3x14 "to pain" scene a lot, because holy fucking shit how can you not, but particularly this line-
MK: "You still think that the universe really wants anything, from any of us?" Lady Bone Demon: "Don't you?" MK: "I try not to think too hard." Lady Bone Demon: "So it would seem."
-in tandem with this line-
MK: "I don't know if all of this happened because it was destined too—but I have to believe that I found the staff so I could use it for good. To help people."
-along with MK's s4 arc, drives me INSANE. MK never thought himself destined for anything, he considered himself a "regular noodle delivery boy with the powers of the Monkey King." But in s4 that distinctly changes, and it does so in such an interesting way with how MK's foil with Wukong develops.
Watching MK go from believing he's not anything special (1x09 and 2x05 you bitches) to believing he is chaos incarnate has been a wild ride, and one that I expect to only continue to go down. Pair that with Wukong being forced to come face to face with the hurt he himself has caused (3x10 and 4x11), and boy are we sure in for a time!
The tragedy of both MK and Wukong is that they hurt people and cause pain when they're trying to exactly the opposite. Different paths, same inevitable end—except the student usually goes farther, don't they?

I am watching Daisy Jones & the Six rn, a fictional band which was really popular in the 70s but had a fallout and no one answered why, until 20 years later when they interview the band members and people involved with them, a documentary of sorts.
And I love that sort of thing.
So, idea: Bruce was a brilliant scientist and one day, he disappeared from the face of the earth (on the day of the gamma bomb test). They make a documentary about Bruce Banner in the 80s/90s.
None of his still living family members wanted to participate.
They pull in some other people.
Elementary school teacher: "He was gifted from a young age. Always on top of his class. Could read before he was four years old. But he wasn't really sociable. He didn't have any friends, no. The other kids quickly saw him as a target and ganged up on him."
"It was usually his mom who picked him up. Brian Banner, his father, was known to... Not be a pleasant person. A very angry and also insecure man.”
Former neighbor, “The neighborhood wasn't really a community. Except for church services, maybe. But yeah, you could hear screams from the Banner house very often. Mr and Mrs Banner went out a lot and the boy stayed with the Nanny. Highly unpleasant person as well. You didn't see her often but you knew that you just didn't want to talk with her.”
Bartender, “Brian Banner was a regular. Nobody liked him because he got really aggressive when drunk. And loud. He would often complain about his son, making claims about him being a monster. It was at these moments I was glad he was at the bar instead of at home.”
Former neighbor: “Rebecca did sport a black eye every now and then, no amount of make-uo was going to conceal that. Plus she wore long-sleeved shirts even in summer. She was a good woman. She didn't deserve what happened to her. But yes, the clues that something like this could happen were there.”
Reporter: “What happened?”
Police Officer #1: “We got a call. An accident with one person dead. We arrived at the scene and we all knew that this was no accident.”
Police Officer #2: “He was still kneeling beside her bleeding body. His hands, his face, his clothes, they were all covered in blood. I gave him a blanket, guided him away to our car. He didn't show any signs of emotions. But tears were running down his face. Suddenly, he said ‘She didn’t slip. "He killed her’.”
Police Officer #3: “I remember him. I couldn't ever forget that case. I was with him at the station while we waited for his aunt. He was sitting there all alone, wrapped in a blanket so I decided to get him a hot chocolate. You could see that he had it tough in life. There were bruises on his arms, some handshapped. I brought the hot chocolate over to him and he was holding out his arm. Was muttering something along the lines of ‘I can't find it’. I never understood it.”
Reporter: “You were his middle school teacher?”
Teacher #1: “Yes, I was.”
Reporter: “What do you remember about him?”
Teacher #1: “He was a real troublemaker. Not because of his grades, but he would cause scenes because he only ever wanted to work alone, which backfired multiple times. And his constant mumbling!”
Reporter: “Mumbling?”
Teacher: “Yes! He would talk to himself so often, even during class! And then he had the audacity to not even pay attention to the lesson!”
Schoolmate #1: “I was in the same class as him.”
“Ohh, yes, he mumbled to himself so often! Not even himself, his imaginary friend. Imaginary friend! We were teenagers and the guy still had an imaginary friend. Probably because no one else would willingly spend time with him.”
“Hulk. He always called him Hulk, yeah. Even wrote that name down in his notebook he always carried around.”
“He had this notebook and he would write in it whenever he could. Even during class.”
“I don't know what he wrote in it anymore. Some sort of equations.”
Carla, schoolmate: “He stepped in when Ken, the school bully, harrassed me. He didn't have to do that, but he did anyway.”
“Well, they… they beat him up. He had to go to the hospital. Broken ribs. But once he came back, he asked me if I was okay!”
“What I said? Erm, stuff I regret saying. I don't want to talk about it. We were teenagers and I had a lot to deal with already. I had my own insecurities and your reputation was really important back in school. It wasn't fair, yes, but I was just a girl.”
“He was a good person. Sure, he was weird, but he did not deserve to be bullied. Nobody does.”
Reporter: “How do you know Bruce Banner?”
Former college student #1: “We were roommates during college.”
Reporter: “What was he like?”
Former college student #1: “Smart. Passionate. Awkward. He was great at what he did, a real favorite amongst teachers. He studied with Stoddard, another gamma scientist. Stoddard was always jealous of Banner, because he worked much harder but Banner was the one who got all the praise.”
“It wasn't that Banner was lazy, he was just a genius who just instantly understood everything it seemed. When he had a problem, he would immediately try to solve it.”
Reporter: “How do you know Bruce Banner?”
“We were friends during college.”
“We had a study group in college and we would spend the weekends together too sometimes.”
“We were all nerds, which is why it was so easy to talk together. The rest? They didn't understand us. But we understood each other.”
Former college student #3: “We had fun sharing our interests, sharing knowledge, getting into rambles, going into hypothetical scenarios.”
Former college student #2: *rubbing the back of his neck* “What we would do in our free time together? Ehh.”
Former college student #3: “Drugs.”
Former college student #2: “It was the 70s and burnt out college students. I’m sure that’s all that you need.”
Former college student #1: “Once, I hadn't seen him for three days. I didn't think much of it until he came back. He looked really shaken up and spaced-out. Told me he was at a cafe three towns over. Apparently he had no idea how he got there and just walked back.”
“If he went to parties? Usually not. Except when he did. See, most of the time he was really timid. He was sure of himself, but still introverted. But when he did go out? The guy went all the way. Would even ask me if I wanted to come with him, which I declined. He was like a completely different person.”
Former college student #2: “We had a great time together. Parties were so fun! He really knew how to charm the ladies. It was like Clark Kent and Superman, one second an unassuming guy, the next, he knew how to read the room and what to say to people to get what he wants as if he could read their minds.”
Former college student #3: “Sometimes we would drive to a casino, he would make some money and afterwards we would get something to eat.”
Former college student #2: “And sometimes… Sometimes it seemed more like possession than a superpower. I remember one time we were in the car, mentally not 100% present and he asked really panicked ‘Where am I? How did I get here?’. And that whole confident demeanor? It was gone.”
Former college student #1: “Yes, this was not the only occurrence. Sometimes he would become… childish? He would talk in a few word sentences. I blamed it on sleep deprivation but when I asked him about it, he told me he didn't remember.”
Journalist: “What happened after Dr. Banner’s college time is mostly speculation. What we do know is that he tried to get funding for his research but was declined. As to what his idea consisted of, we have no idea. Eventually he would join the government and this was the last officially known thing about him. His contact with friends and family members became less and less. Of course, he had co-workers that would probably know more, but even the ones working with him are mostly classified and the ones we do know of were unable to be contacted. Eventually a missing person report was filed - and immediately closed. Did he die? Is he held captive? Did he see something he was not supposed to see? As of now, we don't have the answers. But there is hope that we one day will.”

Aaron Hotchner and Emily Prentiss x Daughter reader
Another request thank you fir commenting!
Summary: Would you do one where Hotch and Prentiss get a call from the police station because their 16 year old daughter or son (Reader) and got into a car accident because of drunk driving (Reader didn't get hurt)
Third person pov...
It was 9.30 pm, the team had finally caught the serial killer they had been chasing after for 5 days, he had killed 10 men and woman and 3 children, the case was draining for all the team.
As soon as they got on the plane they had fallen asleep apart from two people Aaron Hotchner and Emily Prentiss.
They were up talking about the case and their 16 year old daughter who was home alone, they hoped she wouldnt get into any trouble.
Of course they were wrong 5 minutes later Hotches phone goes off and he answers the call. "Hotchner" he says it was a police officer calling.
"hello am i speaking to Mr Aaron Hotchner?" he asks, Hotch looks at Emily and puts the phone on speaker so she could hear as well.
"yes that is me" speaks Hotch. A empty pit forms in his stomache did something happen to his daughter.
"i am officer Bing calling from Virginia Police station, i have your Daughter Y/N Hotchner here for underaged drinking and drunk driving, when will you be able to collect her and sign the necessary papers?" he asks, this made Emily snd Aarons eyes widened as they hear what happend.
Emily then chooses to speak, " Is our daughter okay?" she yelled into the phone, Hotch grabs her hand calming her down.
"yes she is okay, only a concussion and a couple of bruises the other driver was perfectly okay and is not planning to charge her" says the officer.
"okay thank you for telling us, we will be there to collect her in a couple of hours, we are currently come back from a case" explains Hotch before the call ends, Then two Parents sit in silcence.
"That's our daughter alright" Says Emily jokingly, but sees Hotches face and wipes her smile on her face, she could tell he wasn't happy.
"I can't believe her, we leave her for 5 days and this ends up happening" Hotches mutters angry as Emily quickly messages her daugter.
Emily: Your Dad is very pissed
            Off with you Princess.
I kind if guessed that from his :Y/N
Voice on the phone, i dont need to
Be a profiler to know that Mum.
Emily: Dont get sassy with me
Not trying to sorry Mum :Y/N
Just hurry please, i dont want to
spend anymore time here in this cell.
Emily: We will be there in a couple
Of hours Honey.
Emily then put her phone away and laid down her head in Hotches lap and legs on the seat next to her, Hotch smiled at her he knew she had messaged Y/N.
Hotch watched as the plane flew in the sky, they still had an hour left until he could see his daughter and make sure she was okay.
Time skip...
When the plane landed the two quickly got everyone into the different SUVs ans began driving to the police station. "Where are we going Hotch?" Asks Reid from the back seat as his Boss speeds through town.
"Y/N is at the police station" he says simply, eyes on the road, knowone said anything for the rest of thw drive, when they both got tocthe station they ran in and up to the desk.
"Emily Prentiss and Aaron Hotchner for Y/N Hotchner our daughter" Yells Emily scaring the guy at the desk, he then lets them through and the parents run to Officer Nings desk where Y/N was sat.
Their 16 year old daughter had a bandage wrapped around her head, a couple of bruises on her face and arms bit other than that she was okay.
Emily breathes a sigh of relief as she pulls Her daughter in for a long hug the girl quickly hugs her mum back just as tightly.
Office Bing then takes Hotch aside and begins signing the papers for his daughter to be released, when he was done Emily had finally let go of Y/N.
It was now his turn to hug their daughter, the man does he brings her close to his chest and hugs her tightly. "You worried us so much when we heard you were in a car accident Princess" he said pulling away from her.
Y/N looked down, she could bear to see the disappointed look hisnher dad's eyes. "I'm Sorry Dad" she mumbled, the Agent then lifted her chin.
"I know you are, we were just worried, don't you ever do that again" he told her, this made tears fall down her face.
For the first time that night after the accident she cried in her Dads arms, only now realising how she could of died and how dangerous what she did.
Y/N cried and cried for hours in her Dads arms, Her Mum soon joining them in their hug fest. The family off three soon let go and the two bought their daughter outside to where the Team were waiting still confused.
It's wasn't until they saw Y/N that they realised she did something, JJ and Morgan were soon running over. "What happened arw you okay Honey?" Asked JJ
"Did you do something awesome kid?" Aksed Derek at the same time.
Both looked at each other before glaring. "Derek, she could of died" Exclaimed JJ
"Like you can talk JJ, you wanted to know as well but of course you have to be the mama bear" Exclaimed Derek the two continued to argue making Y/N laugh.
The 16 year old was happy to have her family surrounding her making her laugh like always. Their argument soon git everyone laughing even Grumpy Aaron Hotchner.
The end!
Hope you liked this oneshot, I had lots of fun writing it. As usual sorry for the grammar and Spelling mistakes.

Can i request where ( reader ) you are new to the whole vampire thing and your not coping very well you accidentally kill your family and you want to die so you go to haley your old friend but klaus mikaelson wants you to be the godmother of hope if anything where to happen to them since Haley and you were close at a time.
" Gives you hope for a new life they weren't the best people to begin with " Klaus tells
Eternity Can Have Hope
Tumblr media
Pressing the phone to my ear I started breathing heavy walking down the streets of New Orleans coming from my house in blood stained clothes. My hair is wet and sticky as I started sobbing at what I had just done...to my whole family. I was recently turned into a vampire by Klaus Mikaelson after some vampires attacked me and Hayley since werewolves were banned in the Quarter. "Y/n, what's wrong. Why are you crying?" She asked immediately answering my call. "Hayley I - I'm coming to your house and I - I need you to bite me. I can't live like this - I killed them - I can't live with that pain!" I could still see my parents bodies on the floor drained of their blood even though it was an accident. My mom was cooking and I lost it when she cut her finger and I smelt the smallest drip of blood. I was a monster tonight and I'll be one forever so what's the point.
Hayley instantly opened the front door before I even had the chance to knock. She pulled me inside leading me up the stairs closing the door seeing the state of my clothes. "I'll get you a change of clothes. Then we need to talk." She left me alone to change out of my clothes and take a shower where I knew she could hear me through the house now being a hybrid from birthing Hope. Exiting the shower I leaned in the doorway wearing one of her shirts and pants seeing her sitting on the foot of the bed. "So explain to me why you want me to kill you because you should know there's no way in hell I'm doing that." She explained talking my hands in hers as I started crying again flinging my arms around her neck and she hugs me back. "I can't live with myself, Hayley. I slaughtered my parents and - they were all I have. I'm alone now - there's nothing that makes me happy anymore. And I don't understand these feelings for Klaus but there are driving me crazy - so kill me!"
Someone vamped up the stairs where we turn our focus towards the doorway seeing Klaus holding little baby Hope in his arms where I nearly sighed in relief. He looked even more attractive holding a baby in his arms. "Y/n, I can give you two reasons to keep living as a vampire. One is the most important because it involves looking after my little girl if anything were to happen to us.." He slowly walks up smiling down at the infant sleeping in his arms. Separating from my best friend I gasped barely believing that the great hybrid was making me godmother to his child. "You're serious about this, Klaus...making me godmother why..." Hayley takes her from him so he could slowly tuck hair behind my ear making me lock onto his blue eyes. He gently wiped away the tears on my face leaving his face to rest against my face and I leaned into his touch. "Yes love I'm serious. You gave your life in an attempt to rescue Hope from the witches and for that I learned two things. One that you would do anything to protect the child of your best friend..."
"And the other reason being what exactly?" I asked tilting my head to the side until he cupped the other side of my face suddenly pressing his lips onto mine deeply. I gasped moving one foot back and my hands ran up his chest wrapping around his neck. Part of my brain said to pull away and the other half said to jump into bed with him. He broke the kiss cradling my face in his hands. "I love you, Y/n. I would tear the world apart if anyone hurts you and I want to treat you like the queen you should have always been treated as." Avoiding his gaxe for a second I sucked in a breath thinking back to my parents. "But I killed my parents...I'm a monster in their eyes as they died." I blurted out until he wrapped his arms around my waist tugging me closer brushing my nose against his. "You're parents didn't treat you like you deserved I am sorry to say. But you're not a monster like I am...you are still the light to my darkness. Now...do you want me to show how beautiful you are." I giggled before he vamped me onto his bed in my head seeing he had already ditched his shirt so I yanked mine over my head. He smirked crashing his lips gently onto mine where I kissed him back deeply moaning in enjoyment letting him show me that there is good things about being a vampire.
Comments really appreciated ❤️
