Hey so since you know quite a lot about towers lore i was wondering! Do you have any info on the Nemesis junkers? Ive been trying to find sources with canon info everywhere but I’m failing at the minute XD !! I have Surface level knowledge on them,,,but that’s about it. I know quite a lot of canonical information about nemesis but I genuinely can’t find the mention of junkers anywhere online, all I really have right now is an image of the 1994 junker outfit that someone provided for me !!

Ive been super fixated to researching AT lore since I joined the fandom 2-3 years ago and to this day I still cant find anything junker related! If you don’t have much canon information I’d love to hear your theories though :,D

The knowledge I do have is.. Limited, and anecdotal, but it is information! The Junkers are a group of scrapyard cultists with a culture built on scavenging and trading. At Festival of Thrills 2022, they would go around trying to trade with guests. One tried to trade a boot for my labcoat one time XD

Another interesting thing is the 2022 Fireworks, where it was confirmed that they used Festival of Thrills to wake Nemesis up. And Phalanx didn't stop them, despite likely knowing what they were doing - because of Phalanx's new leader, John Dalton, who has likely been mind controlled by Nemesis and has shifted their goals from containing her to protecting her.

There's a fair deal of speculation that they're the Underworlders from Sub-Species and a lot of similarities do exist! It certainly seems likely.

Who, all things considered, are indeed likely to be Junkers, though there's little to no information on them at all. If anyone knows anything about these guys please let us know!

You gotta hand it to Fig. All of the Bad Kids were given foils this season and they got to decide how much they wanted to engage with that part of the plot. Gorgug only interacted with Mary Ann in passing despite them both being on the Owlbears. Fabian noped out of chatting up Ivy once she crossed a line with Mazey. Riz was so busy that he truly had no time to engage with Kipperlilly even though she's obsessed with him. Kristen interacted a bit with Buddy but spent way more time verbally sparring with Kipperlilly. And Adaine was somewhat interested in Oisin but never overtly acted on it.

But Fig?

She's in Ruben's WALLS. She's in his DREAMS. She's faking her alter emo's death. She's got the Fantasy FBI after her. She's SO SO tiny. No one is doing it like Fig's doing it.

so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

Justice League & The Observants

The first time The Observants appeared before the Justice League, they were met with resistance. The JL was more than apprehensive when it came to working with the beings.

A new side of their world was exposed to them. Since the day those things showed up at the watchtower, everywhere the JL turned, there was a new spooky thing to learn about.

The strange beings didn't say much. Appearing in the room through a swirling portal, took a look at the heroes and gave them a mission.

A mission. Like suddenly the Justice League works for them. Something that rubbed all the heroes the wrong way.

Yet, they had to take it. They couldn't let a town get absolutely destroyed and leveled just because they disliked the creatures that told them about it.

It kept happening.

Batman pulls out all the stops to learn more about these so called "Observants". Everything he could find.

It takes him down a rabbit hole. Finding out more and more about the world those beings came from. The Zone.

No one could really complain. The visits from the Observants were always short and to the point. A new problem has arise in the time line and they needed to fix it.

That was until the first time it wasn't one of those things stepping out of the portal.

This time it was a kid. Or something that looked like a kid, and this kid looked pissed.

He demands to know everything that the Observants had asked the league to do. Demands to be filled in.

The anger isn't directed at the JL. No, no. It's directed at the Observants. It seems the league aren't the only ones that despise those all-seeing beings.

He's a king. The kid is a King.

Not what anyone had expected, and it seemed the complication only grew more. The king, Phantom, informs them not to trust the Observants.

The Justice League takes it all in surprising strides. Confirms that they have done nothing wrong, and they haven't. It was simply that the Observants cared more of their own opinions than the betterment of the world.

However, it gets a little harder to keep a straight face when they are introduced to the God of Time.

Made even worse when the God, Clockwork, is a child. If they thought Phantom was a kid, this was a baby.

Except in almost a blink of an eye, Clockwork was an old man.

Things just kept getting more complicating and intriguing.

Before the Justice League knows it. They are essentially thrusted into the Zone's own problems. An inner war was brewing, and Phantom wanted to do everything he could to stop it.
