DpxDc Being a Green Lantern’s ghost is quite different from being one in life.

When a Green Lantern falls, their ring leaves the body. Some souls find paradise, but others remain obsessively bound to their Green Lantern duty, even in death.

The Infinite Realms are bast, so much so that it's rare to encounter a Green Lantern. Thus, they arrive too late to witness Phantom’s battle with the Tyrant King, only catching the moment he is sent to his final rest.

Some of the Green Lanterns still remember the reign of Pariah Dark. Unable to confront him directly, they turned their duty toward relocating ghosts, hiding those the Tyrant King wished to erase.

But being a Green Lantern’s ghost is quite different from being one in life. They can feel the new king’s core, a primordial need for protection and space. It feels like home.

There is no Oa, but there is King Phantom. And if he asks, they will serve.

Until the living world wounds the king in his human form. There is no way to kill him before his time, but he can… had been hurt. And as he sleeps, the realms scream for war.

Earth is under siege. The skeleton army forms a ring around the planet, awaiting the ancients command. Who, out of kindness for the king’s love of Earth, gives mortals a warning: destroy the GIW, or perish.

It’s chaos. The ancients does not appear in their usual form. They are titans to those who look up to the sky.

The Green Lanterns don’t stay to see more. They fly to Oa, because the ancients power of destruction will not stop with Earth.

I’m so deep in the Khaenri’ah trenches right now, I’ve started seeing Dainsleif in my sleep.

The fandom is sleeping on the NATLAN ARCHON QUEST LORE BOMBS, and I’m here to SCREAM ABOUT IT.

Let’s recap:

• Capitano, our favorite 6’2" walking tragedy, was literally a sentient corpse whose heart acted like a teapot stuffed with dead Khaenri’ahn/Natlan souls. Iconic.

• Clothar is our equally iconic weird uncle who had a kid with a mondstadian baddie and spent his life figuring out how to cure his son...and also dies. Like- actually dies.

• Meanwhile, Capitano had to trigger a whole ass paradox before the shade of death, just to give the souls he carried, rest. (and even then, when Thrain told her "if you don't agree, then let me be the sacrifice and die then" the Ruler of Death was like ‘LOL no, <3’ ).

BUT HERE’S THE PLOT HOLE THAT KEEPS ME AWAKE:

HOW DID CLOTHAR ALBERICH JUST… DIE?!

This man was cursed with immortality like Dainsleif/Pierro, yet we found his BONES UNDER MUSHROOMS like some forgotten side quest.

Meanwhile, Capitano had to orchestrate a dimensional paradox just to maybe rest. WHAT GIVES?!

POSSIBLE ANSWERS (RANKED BY COPIUM LEVELS):

• The Alberichs hacked the curse ( Trough alchemy? Sheer spite?).

• Clothar stuck the loom of fate so far up where the sun doesn't shine, it rewinded his existence until when he wasn't born WHO SAID THAT???

BOTTOM LINE: Clothar’s death isn’t just a plothole—it’s proof the Alberichs are built different. And Kaeya? OH DONT GET ME STARTED ABOUT KAEYA!!!

my sabrina carpenter take #mytake is that its good to have music thats fun and aesthetics you engage in for fun and not every woman, public figure or no, is obligated to only engage in aesthetics or messaging that is peer-reviewed feminist theory. i really like short n sweet i will probably like songs off this album and have fun singing along to them badly #summer. but i do think its evil that she was making kind of forgettable girl power pop for so long with very little mainstream recognition and now that shes pivoted into retro sex kitten shes immediately one of the most famous women in the world. and obviously idk whats her and whats her label and marketing team nor does it really matter. and clearly theyve seen what works with her and theyre gonna keep doing that. but like the fact that the thing that was widely appealing in a culture thats already skewing so far towards bimbo culture and housewife attitudes is this conventionally attractive white women making jokes about how she doesnt have to be smart to manipulate men into doing what she wants (which is what men want) just makes me sick to my stomach. i dont care so much about her as what this persona of hers represents about our culture of late.
