if you only have to watch one (1) genshin lore video, I highly recommend this one. not because it's a beginner-friendly guide to those new to the lore (it's not), but because the vibes of this theory are immaculate and explains like... the kinds of things that fascinate me about the game

paimon is consecrated for consumption, in a eucharist way. blood is wine is memories is life is power. ambrosia for ascension. the blood to the traveler's bones

there are so many things in the game that seem like innocuous off-hand comments but when put into a bigger picture, is so ???

like. do you ever think about how paimon likes to eat slimes because they are pure elemental energy, and she functions as the traveler's conduit for the elements similar to a vision for vision-wielders (even though she is not a vision)

and what does this mean for the traveler who is hinted to be a star? how much can they consume before they "collapse under their own gravity", so to speak

I really have nothing to add, I just wanted to share how much I love the vibes of the content of this video. this is peak genshin theorizing to me

Perhaps it is a bit redundant, but she is afraid of telling others that she is…afraid. Afraid of her affliction. Afraid of her own body. Afraid of facing it all alone. Yet to tell others would be an admittance that she was becoming yet another thing that needed to be hunted, and she’s far too haughty to beg to be spared, if only for a little while.

Here's the thing. You said a "falicorn is a pegasus."

Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.

As someone who is a scientist who studies pegasi, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls falicorns pegasi. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.

If you're saying "pegasus family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Equidae, which includes things from regular horses to mules to pegasi.

So your reasoning for calling a falicorn a pegasus is because random people "call the winged ones pegasi?" Let's get Kinshi and wyverns in there, then, too.

Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A falicorn is a falicorn and a member of the pegasus family. But that's not what you said. You said a falicorn is a pegasus, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the pegasus family pegasi, which means you'd call horses, mules, and other equids pegasi, too. Which you said you don't.
