dear person telling yourself not to eat today. especially if it is for the first time: it is not worth it. it feels good for a while, it makes you feel accomplished, but the lower your weight goes the more delusional it gets. your world will spin and you will be incapable of doing anything but think about the food you are depriving yourself off or the workout you wish you had the energy to actually do. do not, if you can help it, get sucked into the cycle. breaking it is terrible.

dear person telling yourself not to eat today: nourish your body and your mind, so you can live a full and happy life. think about all the possibilities for a happy healthy existence that is literally bites away.

let other people motivate you to recover 🌿🌱

started reading again; mostly re-reading books i’ve enjoyed in the past. coming back and finding out that you love them even more the second time around is good.

a total guilty pleasure for me, but i am somehow really excited for the new season of the politician to come out.

i say somehow as if that is shocking. we all know it is because lucy boynton is in it. 

also literally everyone else in that cast, 10/10 casting.

    there are (only) two things i can say for certain that i have learned this semester in quarantine;  one,  how to study from bed and  two,  to appreciate the freedom of damp morning walks in the early a.m’s.
