Hey y’all, so I have this-… idea. That may or may not be a smut idea fic that which- will most likely will never see the light of day. But I decided to wake up and just say, “fuck it,” and give y’all the juice idea. (it’s good just- don’t have the energy to write it.)

Another thing to add I wrote this in the idea of Odysseus having some form of knowledge of the upcoming future and along the lines of a “Fixed-It Everyone Lives” AU. With that said enjoy!

Won’t leave my mind but… self-indulgent Odysseus (or is it me as a man? It’s a blur idk) making some ridiculous comment of having the gods give him boobs just to feed the crying baby, Astyanax, which is very hard considering he’s a man not a woman. This comment being said during a talk with Eurylochus and Polites about the food shortage throughout the board of the crew.

Hence forth Poseidon coming up the waters sometime skip later and wanting to express gratitude of Odysseus giving his son Polyphemus his sight back (after Eurylochus stabbing him in the eye and Odysseus using the knowledge of surgery and magic by me, cause fuck logic). Poseidon may have… overheard Odysseus’ rant of gods not listening to prayers much and his little ridicule joke.

So, as a blessing and a curse, Poseidon gives him just that- boobs that are filled to the brim with milk, ready to feed not only the starving infant, but of 600 men. Cue some awkward tensions from the crew and Odysseus as they try to move forward with this new… development. In a turn of events, Poseidon gets to watch some sexual tension as Odysseus has to breast feed the entire crew.

What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet

Do you feel like tumblr is dying out? There seems to be a steady decline in the interaction that writers are receiving. So many people keep leaving and it's really upsetting

I don’t feel that tumblr is “dying out” but I certainly feel that people have lost interest in interacting.

There has been a very visible decline in interactions, I notice that my posts aren’t really getting the same level of engagement they were 6 months ago.

I think people are just reading or viewing posts and not bothering to like, comment, or reblog them.

Which is incredibly disheartening

Tumblr writers thrive off of visible engagement!! Likes, comments, and reblogs are huge sources of motivation and quite literally the only thing that let us know if you’ve even seen or read our work! We’re doing this for free!!

It feels like we work on these stories for weeks or months at a time just to plaster them to a wall in an empty room.

If you don’t comment, reblog with a hashtag, or even grace us with a note — we have no clue what you think or if anyone is even getting our work on their dash or in the tags we put on the post… it honestly sucks.
