🌱useful daily habits🌱

🔮Stretch in the morning and in the evening: since I started stretching first thing in the morning, and last thing in the evening, my muscles are less tense. In the morning you’ll feel less sleepy and more active; meanwhile, in the evening it’ll help relax your muscles and have a more comfortable sleep.

🔮Write down your dreams/nightmares: if you have a nightmare and can’t go back to sleep, write it down somewhere. It’ll fade from your mind and you’ll be able to fall asleep again without getting any more nightmares. Also, writing down your dreams and searching the meaning of them might make you understand what’s your brain/heart going through.

🔮Meditate once in a while: meditating rewired my brain. I do it once in a while because I don’t always have the time, but it shouldn’t feel like a chore! It should be something you do for your own wellness; you won’t regret it as you will feel calmer, confident, and at peace.

🔮Journal and write gratitude: spending even just 5/10 minutes writing down your toughts in the evening and how certain things made you feel helped me take off things from my mind, treat it like your secret diary. Meanwhile writing down at least 3 things you’re grateful for every day will improve your happiness and will make you more self-conscious about how privileged you are!

🔮Gua-sha or roll your face: depuff your face and improve blood circulation, other than make those cheekbones look SNATCHED and you soon won’t need contour (be consistent!).

🔮Read at least 20 minutes a day: reading at least 20 minutes a day, usually before bed, is my favorite hobby. I get off my phone, it makes me more productive, and reading itself is a very healthy habit.

P.S. daily reminder that you're not forced to follow up with everything on this list! everyone has different priorities and necessities, so i just wanted to share what worked for me. don't pressure yourself to always reach the impossible standard that social media wants us to have, live your life and have fun!<3

👛The problem of overconsumption👛

In this era of the world, trends are passing by quicker than ever, and to keep up brands have adapted fast-fashion to their production to produce more, for less time and money. Unfortunately tho, if we're paying cheap for a t-shirt, there's someone else paying the expensive price of their health due to the awful conditions adults and children are forced to work for very little money to feed their families.

How can we help? Stop buying from brands that support wars, child labor, and unethical work conditions. Switch to second-hand and thrift shopping, where you can find vintage and stylish pieces often for cheap prices (like on Vinted)! You're not only doing a favor to these kids but to the environment too: since the West increased exponentially the request for goods; fabric dye, plastics, and other very polluting materials are being produced and often dismissed in nature. Stop feeding into the over-consumption monster that harms the environment, the workers, and us financially and psychologically!

Things to consider while shopping:

Do I need this?

Is this going to last?

Can I style this with at least 3 different pieces?

Can I see myself wearing this in the next 3 years?

Does this brand support child labor?

Will I feel confident wearing this in public?

Am I only buying it because it’s trending?

🌷how to smell nice🌷

✨Hygiene is key: being clean all the time is a big part of smelling nice! Brush your teeth at least twice a day, scrap your tongue, make sure your hair is always clean, wash your hands often, and wash your face twice a day with soap or a cleanser. Also remember to change your toothbrush every three months and clean the tools you use such as hairbrush, towels, etc…

✨Choose a scent: the best way to be remembered for smelling nice is by sticking to a scent; so choose a scent of your liking and use products (perfume, body wash, deodorant, mouthwash) of that scent only (examples: coconut, vanilla, strawberry, apple, mint).

✨Gum: I LOVE having gum in my mouth all the time, and it really makes a difference on your breath so carry it always with you.

✨Hair: hair is so important for smelling good! Other than being clean, use scented (and possibly matching) shampoo and conditioner, as well as some scented oils!

✨Layer products: this is useful to smell good for a long time! After you shower, use a scented body oil or body cream, deodorant, and perfume.

✨Perfume: the key spots to apply perfume on are your wrists, your inner elbows, your belly button, behind the ears, in the back of your knees, in the back of your neck.

✨Jewerly: try to use as much as possible authentic gold and silver, and if you can’t afford it, I suggest buying stainless steel jewelry, that you can find anywhere; when fake jewelry ruins, it stinks!

✨EXTRA TIPS✨:

Apply moisturizer or vaseline in the spots you apply perfume, it will make it last longer.

Use matching sets of products for skincare and haircare.

Brush your lips with the toothbrush while brushing your teeth to exfoliate and plump them (apply chapstick after!).

Stick to a roll-on deodorant rather than a spray one; they cause dark spots!

Choose a perfume that’s gonna be your scent. Recommendations: Miss Dior Chanel n°5, Angel, Alien, Gucci Bloom, Brazilian Crush, Pure Seduction, Bare Vanilla, Hypnotic Poison, J'Adore

Hygiene tip: sanitize every once in a while the items you have in your bag (phone, wallet, keys).

Perfumes >>> Scented water.

Choose perfumes that say “Eau de Perfume”, they last longer!

💌Use a nail brush when you’re washing your hands or showering to be able to clean properltìy under your nails aswell.

💌Use kojic acid to get rid of dark spots or uneven skintone.

💌Use a hand cream!! It might be taken for granted but keeping your hands and cuticles hydrated really makes a difference.

💌Keep your nails clean with a simple manicure. If you can’t spend money on going to the salon, you can easily get your nails done at home. Just cut and shape your nails, use a cuticle oil, and apply nail polish of any color. You just need to do this once a week.

💌SPF!! When you’re applying sunscreen, remember to include your hands to avoid spots and skin cancer.
