I just finished watching Ginny & Georgia and let me tell you a few things

First, it's been awhile since I had cry that much in front of a TV show, it was just so great, I love how every character is deep and has its own arc (except for Norah but I do believe that this girl has no problem in her life), the plot twist during Austin interview at the court was wild, hated that Wolfe dude and Gil you bastard, feel so bad for Marcus but even MORE for my girl Max, AND felt so betrayed when Zion brought CPS

It's really usually not the type of media I consume but many of my friends have recommanded it to me and I do not regret listening to them, they're so many subjects abordes that I think almost everyone can relate to this show - so if you haven't watched it yet and if you are skeptic, well TRUST ME and watch it NOW

Anyway, I've developped a new terrible unhealthy obsession for a fictional character because of this serie, how could someone not fall for someone like Joe Singh? He's like the most kindhearted, understandin, trustable, open-minded, babydoll man ever, we love a man do not fear a killer queen, like dude is ready to die for his gril but at the same time is not threatened in his ego by a woman being more powerful, that's so sexy HEAR ME OUT - I just can't stop thinking about this man, he is so perfect I LOVE HIM, I NEED HIM URGH

I've been part of the Marauders fandom since about 5 years now

And I've been in the Beatles fandom for a little more than 2 months

And I only realize now these two fandoms are linked by the song Happy Xmas (War Is Over)

Worst of all, this song is used to make the most heart wreaking edits of all time about december 25th 1980

I here you people!

Some person replied on the Marauders x Descendants characters crossover and I must admit GOSH IT MAKES SENSE

So we all agree that Ben and Mal is such a Starchaser coded couple

Now, some people told me - and I had thought about it myself - Evie as Sirius and tbh this one make sense given their diva personality mixed with their fierce loyalty and their automatic acceptance of the ennemy's lifestyle:

Like Evie accepted the Auradon pink and girly lifestyle so fast and she realized quikly it was what suited her best unlike Mal who took much more time to accept herself

It makes me think of Sirius accepting so fast the Gryffindor life and all the love and care his friends had to offer, whereas Regulus took way more time to realized he deserved it

(Makes sense for the Black Brothers to be Mal and Evie given how much siblings aura they give off)

Given this, people commented that Remus should be Doug and that's where I'm not so sure..

It goes with the Evie x Doug/Sirius x Remus BUT I think Doug is way less aggressive and brave than Remus who doesn't hesitate to defend anyone (at least in my hc!)

Although I can see the popular frat x introvert nerd dynamic that suits so much Wolfstar and Evie x Doug (do they have a ship name??)

Of course, as I said in the previous post, Barty HAS TO BE Harry, I've never seen such a good Barty variant then Harry Hook ladies and gentlemen

We don't know much about Harry's backstory and about his relationship with his parents but I bet they are some daddy issues hide underneath this messy eye make up

If Harry is Barty it makes sense that Uma is Dorcas, they are so matching tbh

They both give off the powerful and fierceful woman aura that everyone fear BUT over who everyone simp, especially Harry/Barty, I mean, I don't ship Barty with Dorcas or Harry with Uma but they both defo yearn for their hot best friend in a wierd platonic way

With that said it would make sense that Evan take the role of Gil, BUT I am definetly not stanning that, Gil is cute but very dumb in the movies from what they've let us see of him and my boy Evan is NOT like that at all...

Last but not least, Marlene as Jay

I saw someone saying it and it just makes so much sense guys, they give off the same jog energy of 'I will give 100% of myself to win this game' but also the 'if we lose cause of me I'll blame myself and wonder if I'm worthy of being in the team'

And Obvious it's our boy Ben/James who's here to cheer them up and show them they're plenty worthy!

It made me think about Marauders x Descendant crossover and here is what cross my mind.

James is so Ben coded, like the nice guy with a big heart - and an ego to match it. They both have very good parents and are little ray of sunshine. They take care of everyone and are totally open minded. Both ends up falling for their supposed ennemy.

Obviously, Mal is Regulus, they seek their whole life their parents' approval even tho it goes against the good person they are inside. They are the one who fall on the dark side to follow the path of their family but who end up doing what they believe being the good choice at the end. They both also end up falling for the one they hated at the beginning but who's also the only person who bring the good in them.

I tried to find other good match between Marauders and Descendants' characters but I didn't really find any, or maybe Barty as Harry, that's it

This made me giggle as much as tear up..

Not to twist the knife in our collective wound but think about how it's painfully obvious how Bucky is using the New Avengers and the leader responsability that comes with it as a coping mechanism to burry his unhealed traumas in the back of his heart and keep his mind busy

Now think about one of his most opened wound being Steve leaving him, and now Bucky has to see John Walker in Steve's suit everyday and act as if it wasn't bothering him

And now think that Sam - the one person who helped Bucky the most to get over Cap's abandon and who reminded him of Steve in a good way - doesn't want to talk to him anymore because of this team that helps Bucky's mental health

Here are my thoughts on the parallels between the Avengers team and the New Avengers team:

Yelena Belova 'White Widow' -> Natasha Romanoff 'Black Widow'

That's an obvious one tbh, just love that the White Window is in the same team as the Winter Soldier, it just make so much sense

John Walker 'US Agent' -> Steve Rogers 'Captain America'

I like to think of John as more humanized version of Steve, with his vices and flaws, like his jealousy or envy, and it really shows that the serum don't make Captain America, it's the man under it

Alexeï Shostakov 'Red Guardian' -> Thor

They give the same vibe like 'beefy funny man' but also 'I'll kill for my family', love em both hihi

Ava Starr 'Ghost' -> Clint Barton 'Hawkeye'

They both kinda have the role of support at the crucial moment of the missions yk, plus I think Ava gives off Ronin vibe

Bob Reynolds 'Sentry' -> Bruce Baner 'The Hulk'

They are both these cuty pies with their heart on their sleeves and their insecurities that hide inside a beast fed by their darkness, and I think it's beautiful (plus they're both like that because of science)

Bucky Barnes 'The Winter Soldier' -> Tony Stark 'Iron Man'

For that one HEAR ME OUT, obviously Bucky is nothing like Tony and I'm aware of the irony of my choice since the Winter Soldier killed Tony's parents, still I think in the New Avengers team, Bucky kinda took the role of a leader - almost like a dad - the person to rely on yk, and it's the place Tony had in the og Avengers. But also Bucky is the Thunderbolts' government contact thanks to his post as congressman just like Tony was

For real, this movie was so freaking good, I can't even tell you how I felt in the movie theater (I was a mess) (crying and simping at the same time)

I loved every part of it, and I fairly think it was one of the most emotional movie Marvel made, I'm so happy how the mental health problems were so well addressed throughout Yelena and Bob - even John, which made me like him even though I couldn't stand him in TFATWS (like everyone else I think lmao).

It kinda heal my heart because I think it was something the mcu lacked a lot, with Bucky for instance, even if his PTSD and grief were a little bit shown in TFATWS. But I will always be bitter with how Wanda's mental health struggles were downplayed and even presented as crazyness.

Anyway, that's enough yapping, Thunderbolts* was incredible (I wish I could have seen it in VO but I couldn's - I will in the futur though)

I think my mind is trying to kill me here.

You can only imagine how difficult it is to bloom in a household like the one of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.

Regulus realized it when he realized he was a man. He understood in this moment life won't be as easy as it always has been planned for him. And deep down he accepted being damned, to never receive the love he deserves, no matter how he craves it. And this is what led him to his loss, the unsufferable and unstoppable need for recognition. To be the hero of the story, for once.

Sirius knew it too. Since he was little, the eldest brother was different. And until the end of time, the boy will be as grateful as he was devastated to not be accepted by his family. He yearned so much to found his place that he abandoned the one who cared. The boy who always wanted to be as courageous as a lion ran away like a coward. And despite his loyalty, the free bird will be locked up by a backstabber.

That was the tragedy of the Black brothers. Because no matter how close they are in the sky, their stars never cross each other. The one who wanted to be remembered will be forgotten. And the one who wanted love will be betrayed.

Currently reading ATYD for the first time (I know I'm late...)

I'm on chapter 51

Just wanted to talk about the scene where Sirius is locking himself up in the bathroom because of Snape insulting him about his family (that bastard) (Snevillus they could never make me like you)

It wounded me how James asked Rem to leave - the way it hurted him to say it, he was scared to pain Remus' feelings because it didn't meant to be mean, but at the same time all he wanted to do was to help Siri and he thought he was doing the right thing

What hurted me even more was Sirius letting Remus in but not James, even tho he was the one who tried to make Sirius feel better, tried to help - it wasn't the right way to do it indeed but my poor baby never experienced toxic family dynamic

I can't stop wondering how Jamie must have felt when Sirius said 'Remus can come in' and then closed the door brutally, even tho he was the one who tried to help the most - he knocked and tried to talk to Sirius through the door just for the latter to talk back harshly and letting Remus (who wanted to leave Sirius alone instead) enter

I'M NOT CRITICIZING SIRIUS OR REMUS, NOT AT ALL - just thinking of how James must have felt, he probably felt guilty for not being able to understand or help his best friend properly

However I loved that little moment between Rem and Siri - Sirius' anger issues implied by him not controlling his magic when upset was priceless, and the way he just wanted to stay with Remus and no one else was just the cutest

Anyways I love ATYD, I know I should have read it earlier!!

P.S: the chapter James Potter and Lumply Elephant Dung was amazing, never laughed so hard

This actually heals my heart, did this fandom finally decided to be happy??

James Potter holding baby Harry in one arm, a beer in the other hand, dancing expertly in the dining room to the upbeat music, Harry giggling and bouncing to the beat on his own.

Effie trying to cook and wonderful Cuban dish for them, but Monty keeps getting up behind her to dance and make her laugh. Harry cries out to Papa Monty to dance with him, and he moves his feet with perfect rhythm over to his only grandson.

It's a riot in the house with love and noise and smiles and Regulus just leans against the door frame, arms crossed, feeling warm and content and so happy. This was his family now. His husband, his parents, their baby! And soon, his brother and brother in law would show up and it would get even louder and happier and his heart could just explode.

He doesn't stay there long. Soon James and Harry come for him, pulling him off the wall and into the dancing, even if he thinks he has no rhythm himself. James still kisses him and holds his waist and moves to the beat of the sounds of family.

Sorry BUT (i'm gonna yap again about Regulus)

Can we just talk about the difference between MoonWater and StarChaser??? Their dynamics are so different and at the same sooo good!

The way StarChaser is almost always define as some sort of a grumpy x sunchine trope, with James yearning for Regulus who's mostly the cold one

In their everyday relationship James is kind of a subby husband while Reggie is more in dominance, James would do anything for Regulus to look at him before they date, and even after they started dating, Jamie whorship the ground Reggie walks on (I love him for that)

HOWEVER, the MoonWater is twisting my mind in the most delicious way because the roles clearly shifts: Remus is a dom in every dynamic and you can't tell me otherwise, which makes younger Regulus on his knees for him

Craving!Regulus is such an interesting version, like he likes having the control upon everything, but he'd let Rem take the lead, he'd play the damsel in distress just to bait him

Anyway that was just a thought after a tiktok I've seen, but I love Regulus in every version

Like Ody was so governed by his Reason, his wiseness in the first half of the travel, but after Monster, the dude was not having it, he never let his destiny (the Gods) having the control over him again and let his Thumos (his heart, pulsions, angerness) take over and fight with all his guts for what he wanted!

The Stoics would have hated him and Plato would have thought of his soul as bad, corruped.

I love him for it.
