Migi and Dali x Black Butler Fan Comic (Ch. 2. Pt. 2/4)

(Ch. 2, Pt 1/4) Just a fan comic I made (pls read from left to right) ^^ I realized Reiko and Madam Red were both voiced by Romi Park, both are infertile, and both have conflicting feelings of affection and jealousy towards their sister figures. They also both have a strong desire to be mothers towards their sister figures’ sons. Interestingly, both share close bonds with the second sons, who, in their own ways, stand in as the firstborn sons. The difference is that Reiko covers up imperfections while Madam Red fully embraces it, so in a way they’re like two sides of the same coin just like Migi and Dali :). Also, when Reiko whipped out those giant scissors in the series while she was hunting down “Metry” I just knew she’d fit right in with Madam Red and Grell!

This was also a way for me to explore Reiko’s possible thoughts and feelings. She might be my fav character in Migi and Dali because she’s so complex. It’s known that she always doted on Eiji probably because he takes after his father but I wonder if his very existence pains her too, knowing that he was conceived at the expense of her marriage and his parentage a constant reminder of her “imperfection”. Or perhaps she loves him because he’s a mix of the two people she presumably loves most aka her husband and sister figure.

But anyway this a (sort of) continuation of the first chapter (see my previous post), which is about Migi and Dali dramatically revealing that Alois is their brother LOL. I’m not sure yet what direction this story is taking, I’m just making short fan comics based on cool similarities and parallels I’ve noticed, it just so happens that they involve these same two fandoms. So please don’t be too harsh about plot inconsistencies lol

HOW UA SHOULD HAVE ENDED

Hard cut to Klaus talking to the girl on the bicycle

Klaus: “Did we save the world or screw it up again?”

Bicycle God: “You were never the problem”

She holds up an action figure of Reginald and crushes it in her bare hands. Marigold lights emerge from it. Golden light envelops everything

Hard cut to Klaus waking up in bed. He is wearing pajamas covered in marigolds.Street noise can be heard from outside.

(From offscreen) “You okay, Hon?”

Klaus looks over and Dave is cooking breakfast in their flat

Klaus: “Yeah, just had a weird dream.”

Looks out the window and sees an empty lot where the Hargreeves mansion should be.

Klaus: “Wasn’t there a building there?”

(Naïve Melody by the Talking Heads begins to play over a montage)

Diego and Lila Are wrangling their kids into the camper van. One of the kids gives Lila a picture of her family in a field of bunch of orange flowers (marigolds)

Luther is stripping and the obsessed lady in the crowd is Sloan. He has a marigold in his mouth. He takes it out and gives it to her.

Viktor is playing the violin with Harlon. Sissy is setting the table. She sets a bouquet of marigold into a center vase.

Allison is gardening while Clare and Ray play in the yard. She is planting Marigolds.

Five is teaching at some university. An older woman comes in. “Dolores” he says as she kisses him. He has a Marigold in the lapel of his suit jacket.

Jennifer serves Ben at the dinner. Closeup on her pouring coffee. He has a Durango flower tattoo that says “Jennifer” and she had a marigold tattoo that says “Ben”

Cut back to Klaus staring out the Window

Dave: No, been an empty lot as long as I can remember

Klaus, smiles: Yeah, I don’t know why I thought that

Camera Zooms out from the window as music continues

Reginald, voiceover: And that is how our unlikely heroes manage to create one timeline where everything was fine.

I made a Migi and Dali x Black Butler crossover fan comic based on the Black Butler manga bc I couldn’t help but notice how much Migi and Dali looked like Alois and how other things like twins siblings taking revenge, servants who can fight, jealous infertile villain, etc. lined up so well with Black Butler

I don’t really have a direction for the plot, just a little something I made for fun one day XD

I also came up with a theory of the knife dude being the same guy who attacked Tanaka the night the mansion burned down. But what if he’s also the same guy in chapter 137, 2nd page, 2nd panel? (It’s the chapter where Ciel and his brother are being sacrificed). In the panel, all the people participating in the summoning of Sebastian are either hysterical or praying for forgiveness but there’s one cloaked guy who seems weirdly unfazed. I don’t know if he’s just a random dude in the background but assuming that he’s the same guy who killed Agni and maybe burned down the mansion, then I think it wouldn’t be too far off to say he’s not human. Maybe when OC ordered Sebastian to kill everyone participating in the ritual, Sebastian failed to kill the cloaked guy. Maybe that cloaked guy heard and saw all the negotiations of the Faustian contract and reported the details to Undertaker. He could be a chatacter we’ve seen already. (I’m gonna assume Bravat. He’s probably not human for being able to guess that Sebastian isn’t human.) The only problem though is that if he attacked Tanaka and the rest of the mansion while working for UT, then it’s kind of weird because Undertaker has a special relationship with the Phantomhives (but who knows?).

Anyway, someone pointed out that it was weird how UT revived RC and didn’t stop by when both the twins were still alive and on the verge of being sacrificed, considering the fact that UT didn’t want to “lose anymore Phantomhives.” I personally think he may have planned for OC to make a contract with a demon. And then at the Campania arc, UT took back RC’s from Sebastian with his scythe.

So I think the current situation of OC and Sebastian’s contract being possibly invalid (bc Sebastian needs RC’s soul to manifest as a butler) was planned by UT. OC being bound to a demon and being forever protected, basically makes him almost immortal. And UT has made sure that the contract never comes to a close by taking back RC’s soul, the very thing that was needed to make the contract happen. With RC to himself, UT can protect RC the same way Sebastian protects OC and maybe even experiment on him to make him immortal.

So there’s my take. (Sorry if some of it didn’t make sense)

Agni’s extremely violent death

It appears that in Black butler the tragedy goes full circle.

All people who have done wrong get punished - generally, get killed, with a few exceptions and a few innocents dying too. But again, generally, if you’ve done something very, very bad, it will come back at you. And we have many examples of this:

Madam Red, 

the circus troupe (who kidnapped many children and killed many people before getting killed as well), 

our!Ciel himself - after proudly lying for so long, all his lies are coming back at him.

I think that we have this concept of divine punishment, seeing as there appears to be a God in Black butler. Agni has committed sins as well, before meeting Soma, so his death is a bit of a mix between punishment and other reasonings - which I’d like to talk about in this post because I wasn’t around when the chapters with his death actually came out and I’d like to have something on my blog regarding this matter. Since I’m going to mention a few violent details, please take caution and avoid this post if you’re more sensitive.
