do you think bruce has ever gotten drunk before? i don't mean brucie flirting about at the gala either i mean well and truly intoxicated lol. like the type where you wake up and have the worst headache known to man

Thank you for reminding me about one of my long lost headcanons. Which is that yes, Bruce has gotten that drunk (stealing liquor from the pantry as a child, normal stuff) but the only time he woke up and truly prayed for an end was during training with Ra’s Al Ghul when, as a reward, he and the other trainees were given a night off and a mysterious local liquor (something grain derived) spiked with something. and their “night off” became a test the next day, where they had to meditate and work through the after effects, flushing the toxins from their bodies while still completing their regular duties. it was all a lesson — learning that being poisoned can happen when you least expect it; that alcohol is a poison; and that sometimes you will have to work through it no matter how awful you feel. and so poor, pitiful hungover Bruce learned how to do what he does with ease as Brucie Wayne later — work through anything, whether it’s drugs, poison, fear toxin, alcohol, and be largely unaffected.

Personal challenge: a simple sketch each day

Goal: forcing me to keep things simple - inking, shading, just a few sashes of colour

Improvement pursued: to get the movement, the emotion, finding how to add depth, learning how to leave things barely finished

Max time allowed: 2 hours instead of 8-20 on my previous projects (1h30 here, I had a rough day at work and I just couldn’t have the energy to draw a more difficult prompt)

Today's theme chosen by me: Rough day? So, what about a rougher night with your bestie. And an extraordinary amount of alcohol™. Aaaaand the weirdest waking-up ever.

As I was exhausted after work, I just wanted to draw a sleepy-lazy-drowsssy Snake!Crowley, and Turtledove!Aziraphale came along to the party. Yessss, a turtledove, not a dove. Turtledove, I like them, me. Why? Because in France, they are grey – so it seems perfect for Azi. And they have a collar of darker feathers, just like a bow tie. And they have the cutest softest soothing song I have ever heard. Aaaaaand I am positively sure that when they bond, they bond for life. *mic drop, goes back to sleep*

i literally had the worst hangover ever oh my god i was awake at 5 am with a biting, scathing headache where i could feel millions of pins on my skull throb and stomp along with vomiting 🥰😍🥰😍 i took my migraine meds and and stared at the ground crouched up while my cat gave me company to deal with the unspeakable horrors i’m never drinking again, well — not whiskey at least 🥲
