The shot glass went down and Milo looked at me with that screwed up face that said the liquor was cheap and he was not drunk enough to feel it. "Oh, that's bad," he said.

"Then why drink it?" I laughed.

"Put's hair on my chest. Makes me feel manly."

"Yes, because manhood is for sure determined by hair on the chest." We were sitting at a small bar, me nursing my drink, Milo trying to get drunk. It had been one of those long days at work and when I had seen him trudging through the streets, I offered to buy him a few drinks. He had gladly accepted.

"Do you think it would be sexy if I dyed my chest hair blue?" He was looking at the empty shot glass, rubbing at his very bare chest.

"Blue is not as sexy as highlighter yellow."

"Oooo! I could shave a message into it. Outline it with purple." He looked down, pressing his chin to his chest. "Maybe a poem?"

"Only if you write the poem," I told him.

"Oh, darlin'. You'd have to write it."

I took a sip of my drink, delighting in the way his eyes twinkled. The stress lines bleeding away. "I'll get right on that." Raising my hand, I called for another round. When I turned back, Milo was shoving a pen and a napkin at me. "What? Right now?"

He shrugged. "If it's good enough, I'll get it done tonight."

And that was how I had to stop Milo from tattooing his chest.

I think we all headcanon Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen going to boarding school together but what if Lex Luthor went there as well…and they were friends. Like bestfriends. The kind of friend you talk to even after you graduate.
