hey if you write a pattern for the chilchuck amigurumi I will buy it instantly

ive gotten multiple asks about this, so ill just answer them all here in one go.

i wrote down everything while i was working on it, but i theres some stuff that i would do diffrently and i also didnt take a lot of process pics so it wont be a full proper pattern for those reasons, but ill add all that i have under the cut!

the dimensions of this depend on the size of ur squeaker and yarn, i had a 4ish cm squeaker and somewhat thick 4/8 cotton yarn (kinda 6/8ish thickness). depending on ur yarn and squeaker u might need to follow a different pattern for the body.

if youre using a different body base pattern, the tunic and blouse pattern are pretty easily adjustable. ill add some notes for that at those sections of the pattern. ill also link some videos i used at relevant sections.

if theres an Action store near where u live, see pic below for the yarn i used for the skin, reddish brown, black and light brown. i got 3 of these but 2 packs was enough. the dark brown and creme were from my stash. i also got the squeaker from a donut dog toy from Action.

once again disclaimer, this is not a propper pattern, this is just what i wrote down while i was crochetting. it may not nessecarily be the best way to do it. i wanted most clothes to be removable, but you have to partially disassemble the doll if you want to remove them. if you dont like how something looks or works ur free to do whatever you want. big fan of fucking around and finding out personally.

Arms (skin, dark brown)

i made the arms movable with button joints, but after looking at some videos i discovered that what i did is not called a button joint and i dont have a video explaining it, so i hope this drawing helps.

the red bits are the buttons inside of the arms and body, and the thread (blue for clarity, i matched it w the skin) should be pulled tight and finished off with a double or tripple knot inside the body.

or you could just sew on the arms that also works. but wait with doing that until youve finished the blouse as the hands dont fit through the sleeves. i have a seperate section on assembly at the end of the pattern.

flip the greyish creme flap over.

blouse (thinner creme)

this is a standard raglan pattern, if you need the whole thing bigger/smaller you need to have more/less chains at the beginning. this change also carries over to the collar. the increases are evenly spaced for me, and unless your doll has a very broad chest this shouldnt have to change.

if the arms need more space you need to either add more rows to the r3-7 part and/or add more chains in r8 (this part should fit pretty sugg around the body)

i was experimenting a bit w using BLO to minimize the gap where the sleeve and body seperate (r8). it worked p good but you can ignore it if you dont understand it and just sc in all.

Tunic (red brown) [tunesian entrelac crochet]

if you want to make this bigger i recommend keeping the same square layout, but making the squares bigger. its a bit of measuring and math to figure it out.

the tunic is made in tunesian crochet and i dont really know what written patterns for that look like so i hope this makes sense.

for a single square:

r1: ch4, start in 2nd back bump from hook. pull up a loop from ever back bump. you should have 4 loops on your hook total. simplestitch in all

r2-4: simplestitch in all.

r5: slst in all. fasten off

for the slanted parts i did the decrease by pulling through the middle 2 loops in one go on the back pass

this is how the full thing should look, its worked from bottom left to top right.

sew together the shoulders together, then sew in all of the ends

tunesian crochet has a tendancy to curl, so if you used cotton i def recommend blocking it

i defined the grid a little bit with a dark brown pencil.

disclaimer, this is kind of a mess. the lenghts didnt line up the way i intended so i improvised by adding loose strands and spent a lot of time pinning every strand in place before glueing them down.

i used bison kit contact glue since its sturdy, transparant, flexible and waterproof. you can use hot glue as well, i just personally dont like it because its bulky.

pin all in place until it looks good, tie +glue loose strands first. then glue back pieces, crown, and lastly bangs/ top back layer. some of the lose strands go behind the ears, one is the left sideburn, and the rest is to cover up the crown. these pics are the best i can do as a guide, this was my first time doing this so i was struggling lol.

i didnt fully glue down the bangs and the top back layer bc i thought it would be fun if u could ruffle his hair, but my friend who i gave the plush to has significantly abused him (its been 2 days) and his hair is a mess so im gonna have to glue it down again lol. might as well do it all the first time if u plan on throwing him down the stairs or something.

Face

for eyes + eyebrows, embroider outline with dark brown, then needle felt [video] the inner parts w unraveled dark brown fluff. the dark brown i used was probably acrylic. cotton doesnt really work well for this.

Belt and pouch (dark brown)

the belt is a 3 strand basic friendship bracelet! [video]

sew together the ends and hide it with by sewing the pouch on top.

i didnt write down the pattern for the pouch, but from the top of my head its the same start as the squares for the tunic

r1-9: simple stitch in all

r10: simple stitch 1, decrease by putting your hook through 2 vertical bars when pulling up a loop, simple stitch edge 1.

r11: slst in all, finish with a long tail

use tail to sew together the sides, and sew the pouch onto the belt. use some yellow thread to make a button.

ASSEMBLY.

put on the blouse, put the arms in their place and finish the button joints.

put on the tunic, lace the sides with dark brown yarn, finish with a knot and hide the tails underneath the chest part of the tunic.

slide on the belt and boots.

sew the scalp undercut bit to the head

sew the ears to the head

tie + glue the loose hair strands behind the ears

glue the back of the hair

glue the back of the hair

glue the middle circle part of the hair

glue the top back layer and bangs

sew the head to the body

put on the cowl

While filming officially has wrapped, it seems there's still some filming going on after the weekend, as Sam is spotted at the Loch Rannoch Hotel on 1 October. Where curiously Jamie Roy also posts from on the same day. [Later edit: They were filming some footage for the Gathering, which went live on June 1st 2025]

Driven Scotland posts the final pic of the standing stones taken on 3 October

On 4 October he flies to San Francisco to attend Top Shelf as announced. Before the meet&greet on 5 October he's at Tommy's Mexican. On 6 October the afternoon is for a football game and the evening the Awards Gala.

On 7 October he's in Daly city at Total Wine & More to sign bottles

Right after the signing he flies to LA and posts the next day, 8 October some more pics from the weekend in SF. (more pics in archive. Apparently they are filming MPC footage in LA in the next day(s).

On 10 October he posts several pics from LA, at the gym, at the Sony studios, and advertising sunnies while soaking up some sunshine in CA

On 11 October he's at the Dodgers game in LA

On 14 October he flies to NYC, while John Bell, SS and RR already have started their promo week for OL S7b, Paley Fest and NYCC and he will be at the NYCWFF

On 15 October both Caitriona and Sam are spotted in NYC

On 16 October Sam is interviewed at the Today show, while Caitriona is taping her interview with Kelly & Mark, which will air on Friday 18 October

Same day (16 October) the cast and Maril are at Paley Fest and Sam and Caitriona are interviewed on ABC News Live

17 October the OL panel is at NYCC, live streamed. Right after the panel Sam is at the 10th anniversary of HSC with JH (many pics and videos in archive from both days)

18 October seem to be a serious barhopping day or should I say night

19 October he's at his booth the NYCWFF and in the evening at the Steak&Whisky event as a special guest. (many more pics/videos in archive)

The next day he's flying back to Scotland, as OL is filming a final week of pickups.

On 25 October the final curtain falls, Cait takes of her Claire wig for the last time, thanks about everyone in a post with. Sam posts a thank you as well and his driver takes the opportunity to post a last car pic. The same evening he's a guest at the private anniversary party of the Stravaigin. Later on more pics and videos occur showing Cait, Sophie and Rik arriving at the party as well as Jamie Roy being present.

On 8 November Steven C posts a picture showing him with Sam at No. 6 Cavendish in London

On 10 November he's at the rugby match Scotland vs South Africa at Murrayfield, Edingburgh. He's not alone.

On 13 November he posts a promo video for mpc, walking somewhere in Scotland. It's not sure when the video was recorded though seems to be recent at the time of posting

On 19 November he's in London. First to appear live on the BBC The One show with Caitriona, after that attending a party hosted by Flaunt Magazine, which also posted an interview with him. The party is also for the launch on MGM+ in the UK for the 2nd part of S7. (more pics and videos in archive)

On 21 November he's in Las Vegas enjoying the F1 races for the weekend. Several pics with friends and videos from the races over Friday and Saturday (22 & 23 November) and party. On Sunday 24 November he's at the NFL game with Alex.

On 30 November he posts a video from what appears to be his home, though not 100% certain when it was recorded, it most likely was a very recent recording and it can safely be assumed he's back home.

July 1 (Thur): Robert Harvey posts a pic of Louis in the studio working on LT2 (link).

Holivia is seen by fans having drinks, walking and having dinner in Island of Giglio (pictures and videos here). Within 30 minutes of pictures dropping, there is an article about Holivia on a romantic Italian getaway (link). Deuxmoi posts a ‘spotted’ pic of Holivia at dinner (link).

Deuxmoi mention Holivia’s Italian vacation in their weekly email newsletter, as well as recap Jason and Keeley going on romantic dates in NY on June 26th - further confirming them as a couple (link).

I am going to share some data and observations and ask questions. This post is long – sorry in advance.

Liz had 362 posts in 365 days. That is a lot less than in 2016 or 2017. She posts almost daily and is an open book.

TC liked 21 of LCs IG posts during 2018. Most were of Harper/Ford and a few of sexy AH at premieres. Other likes were random. It’s interesting to note that AH “likes” the majority of LC posts during 2018. As does Andrew Gray McDonnell.

1.       CMBYN press was center stage in January. Lots of awards shows/events in LA and NYC and many interviews: Palm Springs Intl Film Festival, NY Film Critics’ Awards, Jimmy Kimmel interview, BAFTA LA Tea Party; James Franco dinner, Golden Globes, National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala, Critics Choice Awards, CNN interview, Indie Wire interview, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Then comes Rome. I am interested in learning more about Rome because thirsty AH and shy/timid TC were on full display. My data shows they landed in Rome on Jan 23 and Oscar noms were announced the same day. I’ve heard LC did not arrive in Rome until Jan 24. I believe AH and TC crossed 2nd base in NYC in July 2017 and it’s possible they crossed 3rd base or hit a home run in Rome. LC had an interesting post on Jan 29. She showed that she and AH were in Crema and she says: “Back to where we lived for 3 months.” I don’t recall them living in Italy for 3 months. January closed out with Paris premiere (sexy brown leather jacket), French interview on Quotidien; London Film Critics Circle Awards; and dancing in the streets of Crema at midnight.

2.       February was busy. AH and TC lunched together at Soho House (Feb 1); AH posted a story of the CMBYN dancing scene (TC liked it); AH and LC attended Killers concert; AH and TC are both mysteriously at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb 5; TC posted pic of AH in black tracksuit at airport on Feb 5; TC posted story of AHs sexy mag cover – “okkaayy king” on Feb 7; TC and AH and LC at Officiel Hommes Issue Lunche Dinner in NYC on Feb 8; TC and AH at Curzon Soho press interview on Feb. 8 (AH in red track suit); AH back home in LA on Feb 10; and TC had GQ cover launch party w/ Kid Cudi and AH on Feb 20. Did I say busy? TC likes LCs Valentine’s Day post to AH - odd. I also notice LCs Feb 2 post on her becoming an “emerging lifestyle guru for the Instagram generation”. Two years later her ex husband is “sleeping” with IG influencers right and left - sorry. 

 3.       March brought the Independent Spirit Awards (think a naked, sick AH on TCs phone), Oscars (boys looking like a married couple) and TC presenting AH an award in Austin. Get out your hanky for “the man that this man is” speech. I took note of LCs post on March 15: “Having deep discussions about things that matter.” Could it be discussions were being held because of events in 2017 and #1 and #2 above?

4.       In April, TC went to Coachella with The Weekend (listens to Mystery of Love in the car) and TC lets us know he really likes AHs red velvet Oscars suit. AH in NOLA for Wounds and LC and kids join him there mid-month. During April, TC likes several of AHs posts, none of LCs posts.  

5.       Summer: In May, TC is off learning how to ride horses and joust. In June, AH is in NYC all month working on Straight White Men while it looks like LC is in LA. TC is shooting The King in June. In July, LC brings the family to join AH in NYC for 4th of July festivities. LC misses the premier of Straight White Men in July because she goes on a girl’s trip to Italy and Sardinia. My mind starts to wonder at this point whether AH being in NYC all summer was an escape route. 

6.       LC and kids spent August in NYC. I don’t know what to make of the birthday celebration pics - they make me uncomfortable. AH trying to lick LC. I think the Blind Gossip article about the sharing of clothes between two male co-stars came out this month. Are we trying to cover something up?  

7.       Then September hits. TC attends AHs last performance of SWM on Sept 4 in NYC and I think goes out to dinner with AH and his dad (LC not there). Fast forward to TIFF. TC is there for BB and AH/LC are there for Hotel Mumbai. At the BB afterparty on Sept 7 we see “the hug of a lifetime” even though TC and AH saw each other 3 days prior. Where was LC when “the hug of a lifetime” took place? AH and TC had dinner together in Toronto on Sept 8 and jointly posted romantic stories. Was LC at this dinner? If not, why not? She has pics saying she is in Toronto and Dallas on Sept 8 – I am confused. I am curious also when the “hug of a lifetime” pic got leaked. Was it this month? Was there damage control? After the “hug of a lifetime” AH and LC go to CO and then Milan and the pics are cringe. At this same time, TC has posted the thirst trap story in the dark car with the Plan B t-shirt and hat. What’s going on here?

8.       AH pens a tribute to TC in Variety in Oct. The LDR sham kicks off. TC is liking LCs posts of the kids in the pumpkin patch. AH and LC are off to Australia for a couple of days for Hotel Mumbai press. Next, TC is posting the deuce-deuce story and quickly deleting it (Oct 24) and AH is posting a splinters Tweet on Oct 25. TC shows up in Dallas for a fundraiser with AH on Oct 28 unexpectedly. LC makes no mention of him being there even though she is a name dropper.

9.       November is insane. LC headed off to Germany/Amsterdam for I think a bachelorette party. She is gone Nov 4-6. TC and AH hang out at the 22nd annual HFA awards on Nov 4 and TC wears the backless sequined top. AH puts out the New York fried chicken Tweet on Nov 6 and TC posted the “tree” pic for the Charmies on Nov 6. TC posted a sexy bathroom selfie on Nov 13. Nov 16 is a blur: LC is in Dallas having a girls night out; TC posted the sexy Twink thirst trap selfie with the hood, and TC supposedly hangs out with AH at a British GQ photo shoot in the Hollywood Hills (the one where he is in silk PJs). LC does not mention the GQ photo shoot taking place. Governor’s Awards and the “he is my lover” comment happens Nov 18. The next day LC puts out a post asking the public to join her and AH in a double date contest. What? Finally, on Nov 22, AH puts out a post letting LC know she is the best wife ever. All of this before Thanksgiving. 

10.   The year ends quietly with LC/Harper in India for the Chopra-Jonas wedding. I don’t see pics that AH was there. Was he? AH and LC meet up with Esther Garrel on Dec 6 in Paris while AH is doing On the Basis of Sex press. There is a quick pit stop in DC on Dec 11 where AH and LC meet up with Ruth Bader Ginsburg and consequently LC photoshops AHs “imperfect” nose before posting her pic on IG. They spend the holidays like normal in Dallas and Denver and Cayman Islands. I am curious where was TC during December 2018? Did he hang out with AH while LC was in India…eating fried chicken or helping him pull out splinters?

In conclusion, the pics on LCs IG account during 2018 give off the appearance of a happy family. And AH is along for the ride. Were things fine or was everything we saw, especially over the summer and after TIFF, masking something else? Cuss and discuss amongst yourselves.

~Spell-Studies Fall 2020 Challenge~

I love making challenges, and I thought that having daily prompts would be the best way to help keep track of the days!  I tried to pick fairly easy ones that way they are fun and lighthearted!  

Here are the parameters of the challenge!  The prompts will run Monday through Friday, so that weekends can be off days if you wish.  If you would like to also do the weekends as well I have prompts for those as well but they won’t be numbered rather they will be under “End of week one”, etc. Each prompt will have a corresponding date that way everyone can keep track!  Post daily or sum it all up on one big post (weekly, monthly, the whole thing!

Good points: 1-Sassy 2-Have a goal in her life and a dream she will not abandon no matter what 3-Can solve mental illness with love (because otome game power) 4-Described as extra pretty (All the boys at her workplace like her) 5-Doesnt give up easily 6-Actually got some backstory 7-Thirsty AF 8-Relatable

Bad points: 1-Forgive too easily (Minami's route !!) 2-Always get caught when spying or listening on someone's conversation 3-Clumsy AF 4-Can't brew coffee even after two weeks of trying (toma's route) 5-Actually not so good at her job but she's trying really hard

Le secret d'henri\Henri's secret MC: Lyla (Actually not an otome game, more like a visual novel but i wanted to include it because i absolutely love the mc and also because it's getting a remake and i wanted to promote it a bit)

Good points: 1-Strong 2-Naive in all the right ways (she know how naïve she is but still choose to be naïve because she'd rather get backstabbed because she trusted than miss the opportunity to know a good person because she didn't trust)

3-Very pretty (Said to be the prettiest girl in all the high school and literally every boy she met aside from her brother and clement her bestie want to date her.)

4-Very popular 5-She is so nice even Henri call her a saint 6-Have the best family 7-Have the best friends 8-Supportive 9-Likes to play detective and solve people's problem 10-You really get attached to her by the end of the story you are almost sad because you wont get to see her again

Bad points: 1-Overreact 2-Drama queen (I understand tho as she is still a highschooler so she get emotional and depressed quite easily specially when it comes to a certain someone)

3-A bit too perfect sometime : Pretty girl, nice , friendly, cool, like nailpolish and fashion but also manga and video games, smart etc etc 4-MARY SUE 5-Nosy but not in an annoying way

Ikevamp MC:

Job: Travel agent and blogger | Housemaid

Age: Early to middle twenties

Good points : 1-She's said to be very beautiful (leo's route) 2-Speak many languages and seem to have a wide board of interests 3-Adapt fast to her new environment (depend on the routes) 4-Mentally strong (specially in napoleon's route) 5-Kinda mature (sometimes and depend on the route) Bad points: 1-Inconsistent personality even in the same route 2-Mary sue 3-Can be very weak and submissive (depend on the route) 4-Have no reason to stay aside for the boy she loves (what I mean is that by the end of the route the only thing she have in 19th century France is her boyfriend, in some routes she doesn't even meet or talk to most of the other resident and she have no job aside from cleaning the mansion with Sebastian)

5-Also get kidnapped every route (don't know yet for Theo) 6-Always wear the same clothes

Ikerev MC : Alice

Job: Help at a bakery ?

Age: Early twenties (saw somewhere that she was the same age as ray, not sure tho)

Good points : 1-Like food 2-Foodie 3-Enjoy food 4-Food = Happiness 5-More seriously she's super positive and optimistic and adapt really fast to her environment 6-Friendly and happy go lucky 7-Have the power to repel magic and protect herself and sometime her suitor to some degrees

Bad points: 1-Clueless 2-Dumb AF 3-Bad decision making 4-Get kidnapped almost every route 5-Zero observation and deduction skills (Oliver's route) 6-Technically squat at the black\red army headquarter\Oliver and Blanc's house or Harr and Loki's house

Ikesen MC : Mai AKA the queen AKA the fireball AKA the little mouse AKA The godess AKA the wild boar

Job: Seamstress

Age: around 25

Good points : 1-Strong AF 2-Take no sh*t (Kenshin's route\ Nobunaga's route...) 3-Adapt quite fast to her new and very dangerous environement (if i was her i would not leave my room for the next 3 months) 4-Fireball 5-Saved her suitor in many routes (Kenshin, Ieyasu, Shingen...) 6-Sass Queen 7-Have a life in sengoku era aside from her suitor (kinda the opposite of ikevamp mc as i said in bad point 4) 8-Have a dream and a goal 9-Very beautiful (even kenshin said so outside of his route and he was not in love with her!) 10-A lot of chemistry with all of the boys even outside of their routes.

Bad points : 1-Mary Sue 2-In some routes she is weaker but it never really disturbed me as it suited the love interest of the route(Sasuke and mitsuhide's route) 3-Kidnapping

Midcin MC:

Job : Princess

Age: Heard somewhere that she is 19 but not sure about it

Good points : 1-Adapt fast to her new situation 2-Try her best to learn everything 3-Try to take responsibility as the new princess 4-Can't think of anything else for her...

Bad points : 1-Weak 2-Bland 3-Doesnt speak up when she actually need to (The dumpster fire that is Alyn's ever after) 4-Kidnapping sometime twice in the same route 5-Submissive depending on the suitor

Okko's games MC'S : Honestly they r all the same so reunited them all in one

Job and age : Depend on the game

Good points: 1-Hard working 2-Have goals and dreams 3-Usually have a backstory 4-Some of them are sassy 5-Pretty but doesn't take care of herself 6-Always have a very fashionable bestie with a lot of experience with dating that help her and listen to her problems

Bad points: 1-Emotional maturity of a middle school girl 2-Doesnt want to admit her feelings and keep denying them even when there is no reason to 3-Self sabotage 4-Blame herself for every bad thing that happens 5-Some of them are very weak and submissive

I had some lingering anxiety about SPN having their last day of filming and the awful ‘Where’s Misha’ game we’ve all been involuntary been drafted into playing. So I channeled that energy into some gumshoe detective work/obsessive stalking. (Seriously, my husband asked me what I was doing, I told him and he literally made this face 😬) I have tracked Misha’s timeline down from the end of July till now, and I think I have come to the following conclusions.

Possible timeline:

Misha quarantines from 8/3-8/17 based on his “hotel” like surroundings (maybe production wanted them all quarantining at same time?)

Misha films somewhere between 8/24-8/28 and then goes home for weekend and then goes to camping trip from 9/2-9/9

OR Misha films from 8/24- 9/1, then goes on camping trip from 9/2-9/9

I have “hotel” in quotes, because I’m not sure where he was, but not at home, but those same blank walls and nondescript landscape paining all are commonalities. 

It makes sense to me that Warner Brothers would want anyone who filmed 19-20 to quarantine at the same time for liability reasons- they can verify legally where they all were, which explains that gap in filming. Then get them out of there as soon as they can to save $

Don’t take this too seriously, I’m not party to any inside info or know things for sure, this is just what a restless mind put together. 

I think they could have done some overlap filming for logistical COVID reasons, which is why “scene 28″ is referenced. Its pretty dang rare for a show like SPN to film a scene over that amount of days, so it could be “code” for filming for multiple eps

Sanremo 2020

Here a few ways to watch Sanremo online starting on tuesday february 4th 8:30 pm (it’ll probably start with a 5 minutes “anteprima = preview” every night), until saturday february 8th, when the final will be broadcasted.

Starting from January 27th, a 6 minutes show about Sanremo has been broadcasted every night, with interviews and random curiosities (here - PrimaFestival section right below the host Amadeus’ photo)

The usual Dopofestival, with the analysis of the show at the end of each night, won’t be broadcasted onTV but only on RaiPlay (here - L’Altro Festival)

CasaSanremo - A website about Sanremo and all the artists who will take part, with more infos and interviews. Follow them also on their Social Media Channels, usually they make live video/interviews/shows on FB for example.

Hosts & Guests + Other Stuff

This years’ host will be Amadeus (who choose the songs taking part into this Sanremo), a TV and radio host. He will be accompanied by 10 female co-hosts, all coming from TV, songs, sport and information fields: Francesca Sofia Novello, Laura Chimenti, Antonella Clerici, Diletta Leotta, Emma D'Aquino, Sabrina Salerno, Alketa Vejsiu, Mara Venier, Georgina Rodriguez, Rula Jebreal. They will appear on few nights (or just one) each. The radio and TV host Fiorello will be present all the 5 nights, same as the famous singer Tiziano Ferro. They will appear on stage randomly to entertain and sing, maybe also with other guests. Some of the one-night guests might be the singers Al Bano & Romina Power (with a new song, probably on day 1), Zucchero, Ghali, Gianna Nannini, Biagio Antonacci, Tony Renis, Massimo Ranieri, Jhonny Dorelli, i Ricchi e Poveri (all the 4 members who originally started the band), Ultimo, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, Mika (these last 3 probably on Thursday and Friday night); the actors/singers of a couple of Italian movies: Pierfrancesco Favino, Kim Rossi Stuart, Emma Marrone, Claudio Santamaria (Gli anni più belli - Gabriele Muccino) and Diego Abatantuono, Christian De Sica, Angela Finocchiaro, Massimo Ghini, Paolo Rossi, Rocco Papaleo (La mia banda suona il pop - Fausto Brizi); and let’s not forget the Oscar winner Roberto Benigni. For the 70° anniversary of the competition, a 300 meters red carpet has been held in Sanremo to connect the roads nearby to the Ariston theater. The names of the past 69 editions’ winners are written on the red carpet and they may stay there also after the end of the competition (not sure though - take a look at the pics here). An outside stage, called Nutella stage, has been build in the streets of Sanremo. Guests and hosts will randomly go there as well to cheer the crowd.

How it works 

Differently from last year, this year the young/newbie section is back. So there will be 24 singers in the Campioni (champs) section and 8 in the Giovani (young/newbies) section. The winner of the competition of the Campioni section will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest: if he/she/them won’t accept, the choice will be another artist, usually the 2nd classified. Another difference with the past edition is that the “Duets night” will take place on the 3rd night. The Campioni’s singers will perform (with another Italian or foreign artist) a song from a past Sanremo edition. This special evening will be called Sanremo 70. Differently from the past, the rank at the end of the 3rd night, will change also the rank after the 2 first nights (votes will be added to the general rank).

Day 1 - co-hosts: Rula Jebreal, Diletta Leotta. Prob. guests: Fiorello, Tiziano Ferro. “Gli anni più belli” actors, Emma Marrone (will sing too), Gessica Notaro and Antonio Maggio, Al Bano & Romina Power. We’ll hear 12 Campioni’s songs (in order of performance: Irene Grandi, Marco Masini, Rita Pavone, Achille Lauro, Diodato, Le Vibrazioni, Anastasio, Elodie, Bugo e Morgan, Alberto Urso, Riki, Raphael Gualazzi) and 4 Giovani’s (Eugenio in via di Gioia, Fadi, Leo Gassman and Tecla Insolia). 2 songs of the Giovani will be excluded after two different 1 vs 1 contests (Eugenio in Via di Gioia VS Tecla Insolia || Fadi VS Leo Gassmann). The two winning songs (one for each contest) will pass to the 4th night. We’ll have a first rank of the 12 Campioni who performed tonight.

Day 2 - co-hosts: Emma D’Aquino, Laura Chimenti, Sabrina Salerno. Prob. guests: Fiorello, Tiziano Ferro. Zucchero, Ricchi e Poveri, Gigi D’Alessio, Massimo Ranieri, Paolo Palumbo, Novak Djokovic and his wife. The remaining 12 Campioni’s (in order of performance: Piero Pelù, Elettra Lamborghini, Enrico Nigiotti, Levante, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, Tosca, Francesco Gabbani, Paolo Jannacci, Rancore, Junior Cally, Giordana Angi, Michele Zarrillo) and 4 Giovani’s songs (Fasma, Matteo Faustini, Martinelli & Lula, Marco Sentieri) will be performed tonight. 2 songs of the Giovani’s will be excluded after two different 1 vs 1 contests (Martinelli & Lula VS Fasma || Marco Sentieri VS Matteo Faustini). The two winning songs (one for each contest) will pass to the 4th night. We’ll have another rank of the 12 Campioni who performed tonight, and then one with all the 24 contestants (a mix with day 1′s rank).
