an underrated supergirl story i feel a lot of people would like is “convergence: adventures of superman”. i understand why it would fly under the radar, because the event as a whole wasn’t very good. but the story was. it’s two issues and in them a pre-crisis version of kara finds out she’s going to die soon. it’s written by marv wolfman, the same guy who wrote crisis where kara’s death took place. the story also has cute moments between kara and clark and that’s never something we can have too much of.
the story is basically like the happy many returns storyline in the 90s supergirl series except better. would definitely recommend.
I think it's really funny how people that doesn't know much about dolls, critique the Barbie Movie with "it's a movie made to sell dolls". I mean, it's true that it is a movie made by a megacorporation and that Barbie it's a big brand and the whole idea behind the movie is to sale something, but it's oblivious to the fact that Barbie dolls don't sell that well today, and that most of the profits made by the movie merch, came from purses, t-shirts, make-up and collabs with other big brands (merch made for adults and bought by them, not the kids).
The fact that Taylor Swift is coming to Europe next year is really good for my depressive/suicidal thought spirals cause every time my head goes like “everything sucks I wanna die” I can respond to it with like “no you don’t wanna die, you want to see Taylor and for that you have to at least survive for another year”
I went to the pizza+alcohol place three blocks away. The guy working the counter tonight goes ‘hey there! you want your usual, old fashioned and triple pepperoni?’. I feel very called out.
