What was the inspiration behind Peter Hart?

Peter Hart was in part inspired by a lot of different movie and game genres. I always found the idea of pirates to be alluring; vagabonds of the seas, doing whatever the fuck they want, amassing wealth, and taking the royals down a peg or two (if they aren’t hired out by parliament, that is)

The first Pirates of the Caribbean is a good one, but that’s actually not the biggest one. The “pirates” genre for me was inspired by a Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves “episode” (level): “Dead Men Tell No Tales”. I grew up playing the original Sly Cooper trilogy, and the way the story was told in that particular episode was fantastic. 💫

Then of course you have some Disney inspirations (the aforementioned PotC), but some Peter Pan as well. No, his name did not come from Peter Pan. I basically went down the list of British names and asked my brain which one it liked. It chose “Peter”.

And Hart, because it has lots of deeper meanings. A hart is a name for an adult male deer, British in origin. So his name would be like Peter Deer. Also, Hart and heart go hand in hand ✨

The last little push for me after my 10 year development of this novel was Sea of Thieves. My husband and I achieved Pirate Legends and had a cannon BLAST during the season 2 launch. After getting married, and seeing how SoT released a new season at the time of me actualizing Peter Hart, I figured now was the best time to finish it. And boy, am I so happy I did 💫

Stand appearance: Smooth Criminal's physical being resembles a raccoon, much like it’s user, coloured a dark blue. The stand wears an ensemble similar to that of its user’s except it is coloured with a red and black scheme. It even has its own cane, except the cane is silver instead of gold with a less jagged and more rounded appearance

Abilities: This stand's ability is that of stealth. The stand is able to make itself and its user invisible, unable to be seen at all. Both can still be touched, smelt or otherwise sensed by adversaries, but it will remain undetected by anything that can detect the specific location of te stand or its user- no cameras, heatwave detectors, or anything of the sort.

Decided to do this for shit, giggles and absolute chaos. We all know the mayhem that can happen when someone has a baby suddenly dropped on them. This trope is always going to become chaotic for the new caretaker in question. I decided to kick that into overdrive when the baby in question is going to be someone very important. Enjoy.
