There was silence and initially a glaring eye bearing towards Akemi, was he mad? or just taken aback? "You've got some nerve showing up around here Akemi after what you've pulled." The demon-hog would finally speak up whilst beginning to move over, it looked as if he was about to start scolding her.

But any sort of serious tension would promptly vanish as with a chortle being heard as he'd scoop up the lionness into his arms, proceeding to hug and nuzzle her.....seemingly to death. "I'm the one that pulls vanishing acts, not you! Of course its been awhile! How are you? Where did you go?" No, he's not letting go right now.

Beneath the Tangles Prayer Group | September 9 - 15 Prayer Requests

Here are our prayer items for the week:

9 - Pray for Whitney’s wisdom, creativity, and resourcefulness as she leads our Twitch account, for the Holy Spirit to be moving on the platform as we seek to develop something unique and special there for God’s glory, and for our stream to be a godly presence on that platform.

10 - Pray for our artist, Zion, as she develops pieces for Beneath the Tangles, and for our creative ministry in general as we seek ways to engage anime fans through artistic endeavors.

11 - Pray for our video ministry, for Ryan (nyanroh32) and Luke as they develop videos for posting, Laura as she develops review videos, and Whit as she streams on Twitch and creates clips.

12 - Pray for our Instagram ministry (http://instagram.com/beneaththetangles) and for Twwk and Joseph as they lead it. May it be used as a tool to draw followers nearer to God.

13 - Pray for wisdom and strength for Mecahawk, MDMRN, Lenlenkai, @kchris_10, and Twwk, the admins for the Beneath the Tangles Discord server, as they seek to develop community and model Christ to the members, and for our mods, Dragonrose and Archie. May they carry out their role with wisdom, and with compassion and character befitting of our faith.

14 - Pray for the writers of Beneath the Tangles. May they write with a focused and prayerful heart, using their skills and guided by the Holy Spirit to develop articles that draw people to the site, to godly community, and ultimately, to God.

15 - Our small group meets tonight. Pray that it will be a time of learning, prayer, worship, and accountability for the attendees and leaders.

How I Finished My Shit: Someone shared a post about WIP Big Bang on a Discord server, and I thought it sounded like just the kick in the pants I needed to finish this fic.

Ace Merrill & Rory Gilmore Headcannon

Have you ever read Chapter 24 of Skeleton Crew or Needful Things? Ace Merril has a girlfriend named Betsy Malenfaunt. It's interesting to see him getting older and to how he changed over the decades.

If I had to choose a love interest for Ace Merrill it would have to be Rory Gilmore.

The Skeleton Crew describes Betsy as a nice girl whos not very bright. She does go behind ace back to be nice to the narrator and even kisses him after Ace attacks him, but never really talks back and stands up to him.

I feel like Rory wouldn't hesitate to argue and put him in his place. She also has the intelligence to outwit and go toe to toe with him if he acts out. It would certainly be a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers situation. Other characters and even Ace himself describe him as a king. To someone like Ace, this would be wildly exciting. No one talks to him like that. No one ever puts him in his place. He would really have to work on himself to win Rory's affection. Obviously, Rory's family and friends would never approve of the relationship causing a Romeo & Juliet situation.

At first it was just Queen Sunrunner, standing alone on a ridge bathing in the dawn's chill light. But like her rising namesake, she drew others to her. First amongst the comers: Dragonrose. She made her slow, meandering way towards the golden flutter, her beloved Quicksilver shortening his stride to remain beside her. The Poetess stood next to Sun in unusual silence, and waited. "Gather, my friends..." Dragonrose spoke at last. And by the amulet around her neck, it was so. Sunrunner lifted her head, twined strands of silver and gold in her mane glowing in the sun's warming fingers of light. "Welcome home, all of you. Welcome home..."

Dream Valley: Rebirth is the latest--and hopefully last--incarnation of Dream Valley. The original game opened half of forever ago (literally, years) and we enjoyed it so much that we refused to let it stay dead. It is open to role players of all ages, though DV:R is of a darker, more mature stripe than its parent. This game takes place about twenty years after Dream Valley last faded out of existance.
